SPIDER MCNULTY vs. VANCE CANNON
ACDC's “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)” brings out Las Vegas' own Vance Cannon. Cannon struts down the aisle in his long robe, goes to shake hands with one of the fans but does the fake out, pulling the hand back and running it through his hair. He climbs into the ring and opens his robe to show his physique to the crowd. The referee walks over to check Cannon for weapons but Cannon closes the robe and steps back. As the argument continues, Judas Priest's “The Rage” brings out Spider McNulty, who strides confidently to the ring, walks up the steps, wipes his feet on the apron, and climbs into the ring and begins bouncing off the ropes. The referee calls him to the center of the ring and is checking him over when Cannon reaches over the referee and pops McNulty with a cheap shot. That enrages Spider and he starts to go for Cannon but the referee holds him back. Spider just grins and points at Cannon and says, “That's one, meatsack.”
The referee calls for the bell and Spider and Cannon circle cautiously. They lock up collar and elbow in the center of the ring. McNulty backs Cannon into the ropes and goes to throw him across the ring but Cannon manages a reversal and McNulty gets hit with a Dropkick. Cannon Struts while McNulty gets up and says, “That's two, meatsack”. They lock up again in the middle of the ring and Cannon is able to back McNulty into the ropes. Cannon reaches back to pop McNulty but the referee stops him, and McNulty grabs Cannon by the hair and pulls him around and pops Cannon with a stiff chop that has the crows going “Oooooo...” Spider backs him into the ropes and this time Cannon reaches for a handful of hair but there's not even a whisp on Spider's shaved pate. Spider knees Cannon in the midsection, throws him across the ring and comes up with a powerslam that impresses the crowd. There's almost a strut in Spider's walk as he picks up Cannon for a big delayed vertical suplex, and as he holds him up there, Spider drops one arm to show off his strength. Spider completes the suplex and Cannon is slow to get up. Spider climbs the second turnbuckle and as Cannon gets to his knees Spider measures him for a diving fist drop.
Spider locks in a Double Underhook on Cannon...Spiders' Lullaby! Spider hooks the leg and Cannon is done.
Winner in 7:48 – Spider McNulty
Before the referee can even call for the bell the Draculs hit the ring and begin beating the bejeezuz out of Spider. Walking slowly to the ring is Ember Blackpool. Blackpool climbs the stairs and steps over the top rope. The Draculs pick up a now bloody Spider McNulty and sit him on Blackpool's shoulders...POWERBOMB!
Out of the back come Power, Miranda, and Tommy Wilder, armed with baseball bats. The Draculs and Blackpool decide that discretion is the better part of valor and head out through the crowd. Power grabs a microphone but before she can speak, Spider grabs it.
“Nate, these assholes are running the asylum. This crap has to stop.”
Power grabs the microphone back from Spider.
Spider, it's not you they're after. They want to stop me. They want to stop Shane. They don't want us winning the Tag Team Titles.”
From the back we hear Chad yell “Championships!”
Power continues: “Championships. But this is just the start. First the Saints, now the new and improved Black Hand. The Draculs, who beat the crap out of me in a Gauntlet match, and Ember Blackpool, who I demolished to take the PHWF World Title. The Board isn't gonna do anything. It's time we stood up and made a stand.”
Spider says: “Whaddaya have in mind, babe?”
Power rolls her eyes and speaks: “Shane, get out here, please.”
Shane Tusca comes out to some applause. He holds his hands over his ears and the crowd says “Shhhhhhhhh!” Power smiles and Spider shakes his head. For the longest time Power looks into Tuska's eyes, then turns to Tommy and Miranda.
Power speaks: “Shane and I are on the same page. Spider's on board. I'm proposing an alliance. Crash and Burn, and Silence is Strength. We stand together against the Saints, the Black Hand, the Kings. Together, the Wild Bunch is ready for war!”
The crowd cheers as Power holds up her hands.
Power continues: “Miranda, I know this is particularly hard on you because you're opposing your father. I'm opposing my sister. This could be dangerous. Tommy, Miranda, we're in. Are you?”
Miranda takes the mike: “Power, I'm in.”
Miranda hands the mike to Tommy: “Dudette, let's make this happen!”
Power takes the mike back: “Let the notice be served. The Wild Bunch is here to stop the Saints, the Black Hand, the Kings. Get ready for one hell of a ride. Bet on it!”
Power drops the mike as all five join hands in the ring and raise them to the cheers of the crowd.
ECOSYSTEM & ALEXANDER DARLING vs. SUICIDE KINGS
Alex Darling’s music hits, and he steps out on stage to cheers from the crowd. Suddenly Ecosystem steps out beside Alex, raises his arms and the cheers get even louder! AD looks at Eco with an expression that says “Really?” Eco shrugs and they hit the ring.
The Suicide King’s music blares from the speakers as Allen and Renya stalk to the ring – pelted with rolls of toilet paper along the way! Allen snarls and throws one back, beaning some kid in the face, and Jos starts cracking up.
Once in the ring, Jason stay in for the Kings, and Alex glares at Eco who holds his hands up and goes to their corner. The referee calls for the bell, Allen and Darling meet center ring. Allen begins trash talking, but gets about 3 words out when Darling slaps the taste out of his mouth! Allen goes ballistic, and the two start trading bombs!
Darling starts to get the advantage in a fist fight, so Allen switches tactics and drives his boot into the top of Darling’s foot, the follows up with a Muay Thai knee strike to the ribs. He grabs Darling by the head and slams him backwards, runs over and springs off the center rope but Darling rolls out of the way of a springboard legdrop, and soccer kicks Allen in the chest! Allen seems have rolled with the kick, scrambles to his feet and backs into his corner, where Jos tags in –
Jos and Alex square off, and Jos starts using his martial arts to keep range and advantage. Axel catches a kick, spins him around and grabs Jos for a belly to back throw – Jos breaks the grapple, standing switch, reverse, switch, Jos back Darling into the King’s corner, and he and Allen start hammering on him, Darling starts firing back, gets enough space to make a dive for his corner, but Jos grabs his foot to keep him from reaching his corner – Eco starts pointing at the Kings’ corner, and when the ref turns to admonish Allen, Eco comes into the ring, grabs Alex’s hand and yanks both Darling and Jos forward – when the ref turns back around, Eco is back on the outside, tagging Alexander!
Eco hopes over the top roe and DRILLS Jos with a clothesline, the keeps right on through and nails Allen with a forearm shot – he turns back to Jos, and takes a kick to the knee from the Amazing One – Jos follows with a series of chops, lighting up Eco’s chest –
This pattern keeps up for the next few minutes, with the Kings teamwork against the hard hitting offense of Eco and Darling – both teams aren’t exactly wrestling clean, but the referee is giving them some leeway here. Jos and Allen get the upper hand on Eco, and take him to the mat with a high/low combo kick! Jason sets up for the Royal Flush, but Eco rolls through, turns the move into a drop toe hold – Eco grabs both of Allen’s wrists, pulls him toward his corner – Alex tags himself in, jumps from the top and drives a knee into Jason’s back!
Alex grabs Jason for The Darling Driver – Allen throws a couple of elbows at Alex’s head – Alex staggers, but delivers the Driver! He is a bit too close to the King’s corner, Jos comes into the ring and lines up a Falcon Kick – but Eco is in the ring too, and spears Jos! Eco retreats to his corner as Darling covers –
1…2…
Jos pulls his partner out of the ring! Alex and Eco get set for them to come back in, but Jos pulls his groggy partner up the ramp! The ref starts the count – but Allen and Reyna disappear to the back???
Winners by count out – Alexander Darling and Ecosystem!
DK MURPHY & RORY ALBRIGHT vs. MOOSEHEAD JACK & CHRIS EVANS
Rory Albright is out first, accompanied by Carrie Weiss. He recieves a warm reaction from the fans, but it pales in comparison to the response his partner DK Murphy gets. The Drink and Destroy member climbs in the ring, shakes hands with Albright, and runs the ropes to warm up. Moosehead Jack steps onto the stage, immediately cutting off the crowd's cheers. Moose smirks at the boos that rain down on him, pausing for a moment to drink them in before strolling to ringside. The boos, if anything, get louder as Chris Evans steps through the curtain. Evans jaws at the fans as he makes his way to the ring, stopping occasionally to threaten one directly. He reaches ringside and has words for his partner as well, clearly telling Moose to follow his lead. Moose just shakes his head and they slide into the ring to stand toe-to-toe with their opponents. Referee Junior Hale steps between the teams and gives them their instructions. Evans and Albright back toward their corners, and Junior calls for the bell.
Moose and DK immediately launch themselves at one another, meeting in the middle of the ring throwing punches. DK gets the better of the exchange until Moose slips a punch and buries a knee in DK's stomach. He takes him over with a gut-wrench suplex, then kneels on his shoulders and starts pummeling him with forearms. DK manages to throw him off and rolls to his feet. He blocks a punch and nails Moose with a straight right. He follows that up with two more in quick succession and sends him across the ring. He follows right behind him and slams a forearm into the back of his head as he hits the ropes. DK grabs a waist lock and tosses Moose across the ring with a release German suplex. Moose gets to his knees holding his head, just in time to eat a big boot. DK drags Moose to his feet and lifts him onto his shoulder - running powerslam. He covers, but Moose kicks out at two.
DK is up first and attacks, but Moose rakes his eyes and shoves him into the corner. He works DK over with punches and chops, then makes the tag to Evans. Moose holds DK open for shots from Evans, not leaving the ring until Junior's count reaches four. Evans kicks DK back into the corner and has words with the referee, allowing Moose to wrap the tag rope around DK's neck and choke him out. Moose lets go as Junior turns around, and Evans jumps up to drive a knee into DK's head. DK stumbles forward, and Evans springs to the second rope to plant him with a bulldog. He rolls DK over and covers, but DK rolls a shoulder at two. Evans rolls to his feet and stomps on DK, then comes off the ropes and drops a leg across his throat. Evans pulls DK up and sends him into the corner. He makes the tag to Moose, then locks DK in a dragon sleeper as Moose comes off the second rope and drives a knee into his sternum. Moose covers as Evans rolls out of the ring, and Junior counts One...Two...Thr - DK kicks out!
Evans is not happy, and says something to Moose, who rolls to his feet and glares at him. DK uses the distraction to crawl for his corner, but Moose sees him moving and follows, driving an elbow into his spine. Moose transitions into a crossface, trapping DK's arm. DK struggles, and drags him toward the ropes, but Moose rolls them over and takes them back to the middle of the ring. He cinches it in tighter, but Albright is in and kicks him in the head to force the break. Junior ushers Albright out of the ring, and while he does Evans drags Moose beck to their corner and tags himself into the match. Moose isn't happy about this, and shoves Evans before stepping out to the apron.
Evans turns around just in time to see DK make the tag to Albright. Evans launches himself across the ring, but runs into a clothesline. Albright goes to the ropes and hits a second one, and then a third. He sprints into the corner and nails Moose with a forearm, then turns his attention back to Evans. He drags Evans to his feet and scoops him up, but Evans slips off his back and lands on the apron. Evans drops to the floor and circles the ring. He grabs the timekeeper's bell and climbs onto the apron, but Junior stops him, telling him to drop it. As they argue, Albright goes to the ropes behind Junior and brushes past the ref to spear Evans off the apron and into the ringside barrier. Moose steps into the ring behind Albright, but DK cuts him off with a tackle. Albright steps out to the apron and leaps, driving an elbow into Evans' skull as he gets to his feet. Albright tries to shove Evans into the ring, but Evans blocks and elbows him in the throat. Evans turns and rakes the eyes, then slams his head into the apron. Evans stuffs Albright under the ropes, then climbs onto the apron. He slings himself over the ropes and drives an elbow into Albright's throat. He covers, but Albright gets a foot on the ropes at two.
Evans drags Albright to his feet and hits him with a series of European uppercuts before sending him into the corner. He reaches for the tag, but Moose asks if he wouldn't rather handle it himself. Evans doesn't see the humour in that and slaps Moose across the face. Moose just smirks. Junior asks if that was a tag and both men shake their heads. Evans knees Albright in the gut and drags him out of the corner. He sets up the Way of the Future, but Albright blocks and snaps him over with a suplex. Albright is up and goes to the ropes, and nails Evans with the K.O.U.F. as he gets to his feet. Albright rolls to his corner and makes the tag to DK. They send Evans to the ropes, and Albright hits an inverted atomic drop, holding Evans in place as DK goes to the ropes - Boomerang! Evans goes down as though he's been shot and DK covers. Junior counts One...Two...Moose makes a half-hearted attempt to get in the ring, but stops when Albright gets in his way...Three.
WINNERS, in 14:46, Rory Albright and DK Murphy.
ALEXIS DARLING & CHRISTIAN CARTER vs. MAI MUYO & MATT FOLZ
The self proclaimed King and Queen of the Suicide Kings make their way to the ring first, ignoring the massive boos while having confident smirks on their faces. Matt and Mai are introduced next to a huge ovation. Matt looks as intense as we've ever seen him, never taking his eyes off Carter...... until Jason Allen and Jose Reyna attack him from behind. Mai turns to try to help her partner, and holds her own for a bit, but the 2 on 1 advantage is too much for her to overcome. Jose and Jason set Mai up for a Spike Piledriver, but Folz makes it to his feet and locks the Folzmission on Jose. Mai gets to her feet and starts kicking Jason's ass before Alexis spins her around and quickly pulls her into the Bitch Killer. Carter blasts Folz with a pair of brass knuckles, opening up a cut above his eye. The Kings all laugh as they start stomping on Mai and Matt before walking off. Carter mockingly blows a kiss at Jaime as she comes out to check on her husband and best friend.
Official result: No contest, the match never started.
STANK & LD WILLIAMS vs. TEXPRESS
Texpress are announced first and make their way to the ring. The most decorated tag team in OOWF history comes to the ring and steps between the ropes and the Canadian fans ERUPT! Chad and Zane back into the corner and wait for their opponents. The Saints of Sinners are announced, Stank gets a decidedly mixed reaction, while LD Williams blows the roof off the place. The Canadian crowd is solidly behind their native son. Stank and LD make their way to the ring and step between the ropes. These two teams are quite familiar with one another, this should be a great match. The referee calls for the bell, and the OOWF Onslaught champion LD Williams will start things off with Chad Madison.
They lock up and LD backs Chad into the corner and LIGHTS HIM UP with some Canadian Violence, which brings the crowd to their feet. LD pulls Chad out of the corner and sends him to the ropes and tries a knee to the gut on the rebound, but Chad flips over his leg and rolls LD up from behind for a one count. Williams spins to his feet, as does Chad, Chad tries a clothesline, but LD ducks the move and catches Chad with a clothesline of his own that slams across Chad's mouth. Chad staggers back into the Saint's corner holding his mouth. He quickly realizes where he is and tries to fight out of the corner, landing several forearms to the side of Stank's head before LD charges in and lands a knee to Chad's back that drops him to the mat.
LD tags in Stank and pulls Chad out of the corner and slams him between the eyes with a headbutt that sends him staggering backward, Stank grabs Chad from behind and lifts him for an atomic drop, when he hits and lurches forward, LD hits the ropes and turns Chad inside out with a clothesline. Stank drops an elbow across the Texan's chest and covers, but only gets a two count.
Stank pulls Chad to his feet and whips him into the corner, but Chad scales the ropes and feigns a dive at Stank, Stank hits the mat and Chad waits on the top rope and sets himself, when Stank gets back to his feet, Chad nails him with a missile drop kick to the jaw that drops the big man to the mat. Chad pulls Stank to his feet and tags in Zane, then whips Stank to the ropes. Chad drops to the mat, and as Stank steps over him, Zane springs in off the top rope and hits Stank with a shoulder block that drops him. Zane covers, hooking Stank's leg hard, but LD comes in and drops an elbow on the back of Zane's head that breaks it up at two.
The match continues on for over a half an hour. Neither team can keep the advantage for long. Both teams get several near falls. The action spills out of the ring and soon enough LD and Zane are bloody messes. A scary moment takes place when LD and Chad are fighting on the top rope for position and Chad catches LD with a forearm and LD falls off the turnbuckle, slams awkwardly onto the apron and hits the floor hard, holding his neck. Stank immediately comes into the match and attacks Chad and keeps things going while medics check on LD. After a few minutes, LD is back on his feet, and clearly not happy. He slides back into the ring and goes after Chad, and the match continues on for another fifteen minutes.
The end comes when Stank lifts Zane onto his shoulders for the STANK-U, but when Stank turns around, Chad slips into the ring and POPS him with a SUPERKICK! LD charges across the ring and clotheslines Chad and himself over the top rope to the floor, where they brawl. Inside the ring, Zane gets to his feet and sends Stank to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with an impressive SPINEBUSTER! Zane gets to his feet, and as Stank stands, Zane hits the ropes and DECIMATES Stank with a DISCUS CLOTHESLINE! Zane falls on a stunned Stank and hooks the leg, one.....two.....THREE! Stank kicks out a moment too late!
WINNERS in 44:08 - Texpress
FIREWOMAN vs. CHLOE
Kawehi's cover of Closer brings out Chloe Neal, who has a different look on her face. More sedate, more determined. She walks down the aisle with no weapons in her hand, save her bandaged hand, a bandage over her nose, and the cast on her arm. She climbs into the ring and awaits the music of her opponent.
Blondie's War Child brings out Firewoman in a flash of pyro. She does not have her usual confident air around her, though. Fire walks down the ramp with her hands out to the fans, but it's almost secondary to the constant stare into her opponent. Chloe looks at her with a glare. An unfeeling uncaring glare. Finally as Fire slowly walks up the steps and backs into her corner Chloe pulls a microphone out of her pocket.
“So you think of me, huh? You think of that night that we were together, intimately. You think that I would care about that at all? That's something that might have interested Clio...but I could care less. You're never gonna be honest. Your much vaunted rule number one...Firewoman Lies. I should have known better than to even think you'd be truthful. Whatever happened that night will forever be a mystery. What I know is this. You are NOT the Firewoman I watched and admired and wanted to be. You are NOT worthy of that name. You are NOT worthy of the Quinn name, and I will take great pleasure in defeating you. And I will do that by tearing you down bit by bit, brick by brick. And these fans that chant your name will have to admit that you are not the Firewoman of old.”
As Chloe speaks she backs Firewoman into the corner, and Firewoman cowers just saying “No, Chloe, Please....” Chloe drops the microphone and begins trying to punch Firewoman, but Fire covers up effectively. Chloe presses the attack but Fire manages to fend off most of her offense. Chloe throws Fire into the ropes and tries to clothesline her with that cast, but Fire ducks and comes off the other ropes with a flying body press but just gets a one count.
Fire is still slow to follow up and Chloe takes advantage with an eye rake. Chloe throws Fire into the corner and pushes the referee to ask Fire if she wants to continue. As he does, Chloe reaches into her pocket and puts something in the bandages of her wrapped hand. Chloe pulls Fire in close with a side headlock and jabs Fire several times with that wrapped hand. Fire seems a little woozy after that and Chloe capitalizes with fists and cast shots into Fire's shoulder. Chloe throws Fire across the ring into the opposite corner and follows with a knee to the ribs that makes Fire audibly yelp. Chloe wraps Fire's arm around the ropes trying to torque that shoulder. The referee warns Chloe and begins to count but Chloe breaks the illegal hold with a kick to the shoulder. Chloe moves to throw Fire across the ring but Fire reverses and follows Chloe into the corner with an elbow to the face that pops that nose and it begins bleeding again. Chloe howls in pain and that makes Fire pause a moment before pulling Chloe out and dropping her with a DDT. Fire turns over Chloe and hits the FIRESTOMP! Chloe screams, and Fire hesitantly climbs the turnbuckle to go for the BEST FIRESAULT EVER....but she took too long and Chloe got her knees up and Fire lands...ribs first...on those knees.
Fire clutches those ribs as Chloe slowly get up and locks in the London Dungeon on Fire. But Fire's too close to the ropes and gets a leg on the ropes. The referee tells Chloe to break but Chloe is snarling and screaming at Fire to tap out. The referee starts counting and when he reaches five he calls for the bell.
WINNER by DQ in 11:17 – Firewoman.
When she hears the bell Chloe releases the hold and begins jumping around the ring thinking she's won. The joy turns to fury as the referee holds up Firewoman's hand and the timekeeper announces the decision. Chloe makes a move on the referee but he bails and as she turns back to Firewoman she has made it out of the ring, holding her shoulder and her ribs and heads up the ramp. Chloe howls her disapproval and...begins throwing a tantrum in the ring that has the crowd laughing. She storms around ringside tearing up the Lituanian Announce Table until she finally jumps atop the table and raises her hands to the boos of the crowd and storms to the back.
CRASH & BURN vs. SILENCE IS STRENGTH - OOWF World Tag Team Title Match
Silence is Strength is out first, Power is accompanied by Sunny and the bodyguards, while Spider sticks close to Tuska. The two of them head to the ring, as they step between the ropes, Power looks at Shane, not a word is exchanged, but Shane nods knowingly and heads to the corner. As he drops to one knee and puts his hands over his ears, the crowd goes "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Outside the ring, Spider once again looks incredulous, while inside the ring, you can see Shane trying to stifle a smile. The OOWF world tag team champions Crash & Burn are announced next and race to the ring. Wilder and Williams slide under the bottom rope, climb the turnbuckles, hold up the tag titles then do a back flip into the center of the ring, sticking the landing perfectly. Handshakes all around, and we are ready to go!
The bell rings, but before anything can happen, the Black Hand, Vlad, Tavian and Radu Dracul and Ember Blackpool come through the crowd, hop the guardrail and attack! Spider gets into the mix and before much damage can be done, the Black Hand retreats to the top of the ramp. The referee looks around and sees Miranda had been busted open during the attack and waves off the match! The crowd is NOT happy about this, Tommy is even less happy. He has a mic:
You know.....as if it wasn't bad enough that the Suicide Kings thought they were big shit and wanted to prove it by jumping people, so we had to watch our backs from THEM. Then there's the Saints......who get off by jumping people, so we had to watch our backs from THEM as well. NOW, these clowns show up and think they are going to make their mark by jumping people from behind forcing us to watch our backs from THEM too.
<Tommy paces around the ring for a moment and looks at Miranda, Shane and Power>
No. Just.......no. I'll tell you what.......I am not asking.......I am DEMANDING......next week......eight man tag match.......The Black Hand face the Wild Bunch.......no rules. You boys want to show what you are made of? You are going to have to do it against us. <looking at Shane and Power> and as soon as we take care of those jokers, you two get a straight up, clean title match.....I don't care if we have to do it in a cage to keep THEM out, it is going to happen, you two have earned it
The crowd cheers this decision, forgetting that there was no match.
WINNERS - No Match
GHOSTHEAD vs. STAN FULTON - OOWF World Heavyweight Title Match
Is that the sound of "Fifty Goddamn Skeleton Warriors?" It is? Then it must be Stan Fulton making his way to the ring. The crowd boos. YOUR World Champion, Ghosthead follows, to "Divide the Hate," greeted by some cheers. They meet in the ring as the referee does the ceremonial showing-of-the-belt. Finally we're off.
The first six-to-seven minutes are armlocks and drags and such, just generally trying to feel each other out. There's some slow but strong rope work, and tests of strength and the like. Occassionally there is a power slam, or back body drop, or the like, just to shake the ring a bit. The crowd cheers each one. Then we go back to some collar and elbow tie ups and shoving into arm locks, into hammer locks, as no one gets an advantage for a good long time. Lots of anticipation building for the first big spot.
There's a break in the action and Crusher lumbers aroudn the ring, apparently insisting that Ghosthead do something. Ghosthead does...if by doing something you mean standing there all creepy, like he does, patiently waiting for Crusher's rant to be over. The two men begin to circle each other again and another collar and elbow which Ghosthead fights his way out of. Another tie up and when Ghosthead fights out Crusher stuns him with a couple of open hands to the face, followed by a shot to the stomach. Or two. Or three. Crusher grabs him by the dreads for a bit, and then pulls him into a big clothesline, down to the mat. Ghosthead struggles to get up as Crusher paces. Once he does, Crusher grabs him and throws him to the ropes, expecting to hit a big boot, but nope! Ghosthead catches it, and then kicks Crusher's other leg out from under him. Ghosthead hits the ropes and DROPKICK~! Crusher sits up slowly but Ghosthead responds with Muay Thai kicks to the head, and finally a boot to the face, knocking him backward. Ghosthead knees and as Crusher sits up, Ghosthead peppers him with punches. The referee reminds him of the rules, whch allows Crusher to roll away.
Ghosthead glowers down at Crusher as he tries to get to his feet. Once he does, Ghost throws him to the ropes, but Crusher reverses. He appears to want to hit an Atomic drop on the rebound but Ghosthead counters and slides to the side until he's behind him. He punches Crusher in the kidney, and then grabs him from behind for a rear chinlock. Crusher tries to get out of it to no avail for a while.
Finally, Crusher is able to throw a rear elbow that connects and Ghosthead releases the hold. Crusher pulls Ghosthead to one side of the ring and then throws him to the other. At the last minute Ghosthead falls to the mat and Crusher goes sailing over to the floor. Ghosthead glowers down at him for a bit, and then hits the far ropes. Crusher stands up just in time to eat a baseball slide. Ghosthead hits the ropes again and PLANCHA~! into Crusher's waiting arms. Kind of. They both crash to the floor. Ghosthead hammers Crusher with punches and the runs back to the ring and slides in. He awaits Crusher getting to his feet, and once he does, Ghosthead tries for another baseball slide, but you can't do that to Crusher more than once. Crusher dodges and Ghosthead lands on his feet. They trade a couple of punches and Ghosthead rolls Crusher back into the ring. Ghosthnead goes to the top of the ring post and FLYING DOUBLE AXE HANDLE~! Down goes Crusher.
Ghosthead stands and slowly stalks Crusher, his eyes blazing with intensity. Crusher gets to his feet again, and Ghosthead hits the ropes and leaps until he's up to Crusher's neck, but Crusher grabs him and attempts a power bomb. But Ghosthead counters his counter with a Hurricanrana. Crusher is down but instead of covering, Ghosthead gets to his feet and again stalks the ring, demanding Crusher get to his feet. As he does so, Ghosthead waits for his moment and the leaps up to where he is sitting on Crusher's shoulders behind his head, raining down punches. Crusher leans forward toward the ropes and Ghosthead grabs on, flipping both of them over. Crusher hits the floor again, but Ghosthead holds on to the ropes and flips himself back into the ring in a move that is not, technically, skinning the cat. Ghosthead again stalks the ring, while the referee counts.
Ghosthead gets tired of waiting and flings himself over the top rope, onto Crusher's shoulders, facing him. He again starts raining down punches to Crusher's head, but this time Crusher is able to POWER BOMB~! to the floor! Now it's Crusher's turn to get in the ring while Ghosthead writhes in pain. He plays to the crowd, which boos him. The referee counts while Ghosthead struggles to get to his feet. Crusher decides he doesn't want to wait until he gets to the ring and goes to meet him, driving him back with big punches. A few knock him to the ground and Crusher has to help him up just to knock him down again. This goes on for a while, but as their outside the ring, there's really not much to be done about it. Crusher rolls into the ring to break up the count, and then back out again. He lifts Ghosthead up over his head in an overhead press and hold...holds...hooooolds...DOWN he drops him right on the barricade. Now it's Crusher's turn to stand over Ghosthead and he does, then gets him up to his feet, and leads him to the ring, rolling him in.
Back in the ring, Crusher throws Ghosthead into the corner and then comes in for an AVALANCHE~! Ghosthead staggers out and Crusher instantly has him in a bear hug. He squeezes and squeezes and squeezes and then finally BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX~! Crusher goes for the pin, one...two...NO!!! Ghosthead kicks out. Crusher gets to his feet and so does Ghosthead, but Crusher keeps him bent over with a big elbow to the back of the head. He flips Ghosthead up and POWERBOMB~! He gets Ghosthead to his feet again and flips him up, but NO! Ghosthead peppers him with punches to the head and Crusher falls to the mat with Ghosthead on top. Ghost rolls off, and hits the ropes as Crusher gets to his feet. He makes several passes, ducking a few clothesline attempts before knocking Crusher off his feet with a cross-body.
Ghosthead leaps to his feet and goes to the middle ropes, and flies off...EIDOLON~! Crusher slowly gets to his feet and Ghosthead grabs him by the head....NIGHT TERROR~! He goes for the pin, one...two...NO~! Crusher kicks out.
Ghosthead decides to take a breather and backs off as Crusher struggles to get to his feet, both men winded. We are now at the thirty minute mark. The effort so far draws cheers from the crowd, and a small 'this is awesome' chant. The referee checks a couple of times on each man. Crusher nods in response, but Ghosthead simply seems to be trying to regain his focus. Finally they both stand and meet in the center. They exchange punches (complete with annoying Yays and Boos from the crowd) for a bit. Finally, Ghosthead ducks a punch and is able to get two to three straight in a row that drives Crusher back. Ghosthead hits the ropes and slides between Crusher's legs, coming up to bounce off the ropes again. He ducks a clothesline and then off the far ropes with one of his own. He follows Crusher to the corner with a few more punches, before hitting more ropes to another baseball slide. Crusher dodges and Ghosthead slides out but takes Crusher's leg with him. He pulls back on both legs and crotches Crusher on the ring post. Ouch. Crusher rolls away and Ghosthead gets back into the ring. Ghosthead again goes on the attack. He tries for a Sunset Flip but instead of rollign backward, Crusher stands looking down at Ghosthead before dropping straight down on his chest. And again. And AGAIN! Three SEATED SENTONS in a row!!! That move should have a name!!! And Ghosthead's ribs have got to look like Firewoman's...
Crusher waits patiently for Ghost to try to breathe enough to start moving. It takes a bit...but finally he sits up...then gets to his knee. Crusher runs the ropes and then jumps...DROPKICK~! The rare Stan Crusher Fulton dropkick knocks Ghosthead backward. Crusher goes to the second turnbuckle and lets go...THE CRUSHER~! It is amazing if Ghosthead can even breathe, and Crusher goes for the pin, one...two...NO~! Ghosthead kicks out! Crusher can't believe it, and starts to head to the turnbuckle for something else. We'll never know what because the buzzer sounds...60 MINUTES~!
