OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Soyo, Angola
DRINK & DESTROY vs. THE MAPLE LEAF MAFIADrink and Destroy, Outback Jack and Dynamite Danny Taylor, make their way through the crowd to a rousing ovation. They confer with Dashing Victor Deniro on the floor and then climb into the ring to await their mystery opponents. After a long moment - The Canadian Anthem starts to play? Two men dressed in red and white burst through the curtain.
Razz: “Who the hell are these guys?”
Russ: They call themselves The Maple Leaf Mafia. The Canadian Dream and the Canadian Nightmare”
Razz: “Which one’s which?“
Russ: “Nightmare is the smaller one, with the - wait, is that maple leaf tattooed on his face?”
Razz: “It’s called living the gimmick, Russ.”
The MLM climb into the ring and Nightmare gets right in D&D’s faces, talking a steady stream of smack. Referee Angelo Barros gives both teams their instructions and calls for the bell. The Canadian Dream heads to his corner, while Nightmare keeps talking. OBJ says something to Taylor, who shrugs. A quick game of rock, paper, scissors, and OBJ heads to the apron.
The heavily tattooed Nightmare, standing 5’8” - 6’10” with the Mohawk, is still running his mouth when the bell rings. As soon as he hears it he bolts past Taylor, rebounds off the ropes, does a handspring onto the opposite ropes, springs off into a back flip, and grabs Taylor for an arm drag. Danny yanks him out of the air into a clothesline that turns him inside out. Nightmare scurries for his corner and makes the tag. The 7’ Canadian Dream steps over the ropes, doing his best menacing glare. This prompts OBJ to call Danny over and tag himself in as well.
OBJ moves in to lock up, but Dream holds up a hand to stop him. He motions for a test of strength. OBJ shrugs and grips his hands. Dream gets the advantage, and OBJ slams him between the eyes with a head butt. Dream staggers back, and OBJ scoops him up and slams him to the mat! OBJ goes to the ropes and hits a big boot to the side of the head as Dream gets to his knees. OBJ rolls Dream over and hits a leaping leg drop.
On the apron, Nightmare is apoplectic, bouncing on the ropes and screaming obscenities at D&D, the ref, the crowd, and the world at large. Danny moseys around the ring until he’s standing next to him on the apron. Nightmare suddenly notices him and yelps, leaping four feet straight up in the air and landing hard on his backside on the apron. Nightmare swallows visibly as Danny leans over him and places a finger to his lips. Nightmare nods frantically, and Danny strolls back to his corner.
OBJ works Dream over with chops in the corner. He hauls him out and staggers him with a European uppercut. OBJ goes to the ropes behind Dream - Boomerang! Dream collapses to the mat, and OBJ locks on the Croc Hunter. Nightmare rushes into the ring. He springs off the middle rope into - something - but Taylor snags him out of the air. OBJ rolls out of the way, and Taylor slams Nightmare onto his partner. Nightmare bounces off and rolls out to the floor, while D&D go to their corner and make the exchange. Danny approaches Dream as he staggers to his feet. Kick to the midsection - Dynamite Drop! He rolls Dream over and covers. Barros slides in and counts One…Two…Three.
WINNERS, in 5:12, Drink and Destroy
REGICIDE vs. TEXPRESS – Round Robin Tournament for a Title Shot – Match 1“Frontline” blares across the Arena. Tytan & LD Williams stroll to the stage, exuding confidence. They make a slow, methodical march to the ring, drawing a very mixed reaction tonight in Angola. They climb through the ropes and stretch, tug on the ropes, and mill about patiently until….
"God Blessed Texas" cranks up and the crowd goes APESHIT BATNUTS! Texpress appear at the top of the ramp, accompanied by Bridgette. Chad and Zane make their way to the ring, high fiving the crowd all along the aisle. Bridgette waves and heads back to the back. Chad leaps over the ropes and begins to jaw at Tytan, causing the monster to take a half a swing at Chad. The referee & their respective partners are quick to separate them. The ref issues warning to both sides and gets order restored. The bell sounds and WE’RE UNDERWAY!
LD and Zane start us out and circle each other slowly. They lock up momentarily, and Zane is quick to take control with a top wristlock. He turns it into an armbar and quickly hip tosses LD to the mat. LD kips up and eats a big boot. LD rolls to his corner and crouches, glaring at Zane. Chad is on the apron pounding his foot and getting the crowd to make some noise behind him. LD tags in Tytan, and the two behemoths go nose to nose in the middle of the ring. we can’t hear what they are saying, but clearly they don’t get along. Forehead to forehead they stand, until Tytan shoves Zane hard. Zane back pedals a step, and Zane just dives at Tytan. They tumble about trading punches and end up on the floor, where the blow exchange starts to include guardrails, ring steps & ring posts. The referee is counting 5…6…7… LD and Chad manage to pull them apart …8…..9… and Tytan and Zane both roll under the ropes and avoid a quick decision here.
The referee orders a re-start, and points at both Chad and LD into the ring. Zane tries to argue the point and BAM! LD connects with an enziguri while Chad was distracted with his partner. LD goes on the offensive, sending Chad into the ropes and snapping off a nice spin kick and Chad goes down in a heap. LD pulls him up and staggers him with a couple of forearms.. then Drops him with a Lung Blower! LD makes the cover, gets a 2 count… and Chad is up in plenty of time. LD comes at Chad full force. Sending him hard into a corner and following up with a nice knee strike. Chad drops to one knee and LD sizes him up for another knee strike, but Chad catches the leg, twists him quickly to the mat and has a Texas Cloverleaf locked in before LD knows what hit him. Tytan doesn’t hesitate for a second and lumbers in to club Chad in the head and put an end to that.
Zane is contractually obligated to follow, and draws the referee to him. You can guess where this is going. LD and Tytan pound on Chad momentarily, then Tytan puts Chad in a powerbomb lift, and LD is set to double the impact with a neckbreaker, but they forgot wrestling rule #4542 …. YOU CAN’T POWERBOMB A CRUISERWEIGHT! Chad hits the face buster reversal on Tytan and tumbles to safety before LD is able to cut him off. Hot tag to Zane, who comes in all House-of-Fire-y and levels everyone in sight. The crowd pops; Chad and Zane climb the turnbuckles while Regicide regroups on the floor.
The referee orders LD back into the ring, and Zane is waiting for him. Scoop slam followed up by a Thunderous kneedrop from the middle turnbuckle. Zane covers, gets 2, and Tytan comes in and gives Zane a BRUTAL Kick to the head for his attempt to end the match. Zane pops up, clearly incensed, and pulls Tytan back into the ring, pelting him with fists in the corner. LD spins Zane around momentarily, but gets kicked in the gut for his troubles. The official, trying to pull Zane off of Tytan, makes the mistake of grabbing his arm from behind. Zane pauses and pops the referee in the mouth with his elbow without ever turning around. Mr. Referee falls to the mat. There’ll be consequences for that I’m sure. Zane continues his beatdown of Tytan, who is slumped in the corner at this point. Zane seems to have lost control (In case the ref bump didn’t properly convey that) Chad comes across the ring and deals with LD, backdropping him out of the ring, and tries to pull Zane off Tytan. HE gets the back elbow to the kisser as well, but is better equipped to handle the blow. He grabs Zane in a waistlock and hits half a back suplex on his own partner just to get him off of Tytan. Zane pulls himself up and he and Chad begin to discuss each other’s motivations here. Zane throws his hands up in disgust and turns around…. To see the Referee, get back to his feet and ring the bell.
WINNERS in 6:12; As the result of a Disqualification; Regicide!
Zane wants to argue the decision with the referee, but Chad sees this coming and has wedged himself between Zane and Mr. Ref. LD has dragged Tytan to the floor and has him back on his feet and they stare holes through Zane as Chad drags him up the ramp. We see Bridgette meet them at the top of the ramp as the three of them disappear behind the curtain
THE BRASS KNUCKLE KINGS vs. FIREWOMAN & THE FLYIN HAWAIIANSBrass Knuckle Kings plays and Eric O'Mac, Bryce Larson and Matt Folz come to the ring accompanied by the posse. The BKK show off a little on the ramp before making their way to the ring. The three enter the ring and Larson and Eric remove their robes. This reveals Eric to be wearing an all white on white outfit.
Larson looks impressed and gives a small golf clap, to which Eric gives a feux bow in response. Vertigo hits next and the Flyin Hawaiians come out with Commisioner Firewoman in between them. The Hawaiians go through a pre match traditional dance, and Firewoman cheers them on (and probably checks them out a little, hey she is married not dead after all). When the movements end, the boys lock eyes with Fire and all three rush the ring sliding in and heading straight for the BKK. O'Mac and company are not completely unprepared for this however, and start brawling back. Blows are going everywhich way, and it doesn't look like anyone is able to get a clear advantage. Finally the ref is able to push Firewoman, Kai, Larson and Folz out of the ring. The bell is sounded and we are finally underway.
Aina and Eric back off on the punches and circle. They lock up and Aina is able to get the advantage pulling Eric into an armwringer. Eric is able to pull some quick moves spinning and reversing it into a hammerlock onto Aina. He then pulls him into a side headlock and then drops him with a waistlock takedown. Eric then lightly paintbrushes Ainas head and the camera picks up him saying "don't forget I can wrestle." Eric backs off letting Aina back to his feet. Aina backs up towards his own corner, when Kai suddenly tags himself in. Aina throws him a look, but Kai responds with an I got this brah. Kai walks to the center of the ring and motions for Eric to lock up. Eric comes in, but before he can lock up, Kai grabs both of Eric’s wrists. Kai rocks O'Mac with three quick headbutts. Folz tries to come into the ring, and the ref goes to keep him out. However that was just the decoy as Larson springboards off the opposite side and lands a dropkick sending Kai to the mat. Firewoman and Aina go to come in, but the ref cuts them off, he's gonna be busy tonight. Larson has made his way back to the BKK corner, and Eric gets to his feet. Eric is holding his nose, and blood seems to be coming from it, maybe white on white was not the best choice tonight. Folz makes the hand clap of tagging himself in and hits the ring. He grabs Kai and nails a belly to belly. Folz then grabs the leg and begins tweaking on the leg, alternating between elbow shots and twists. He pulls Kai over to the BKK corner and tags Larson who comes in with a plancha and covers. Kai kicks out before the one count is even made. Larson picks Kai up and sends him into the corner and starts putting the boots to Kais leg. Larson backs up and rushes in going for a low dropkick. Kai is able to use the ropes to pull himself out of the way. Larson tries to get to his feet first, but Kai is able to leap and make the tag to Aina.
Aina is in and is house en fuego. Larson eats a clothesline, Folz is in and eats one as well. Eric looks to come in, and then thinks better of it. Aina grabs Folz and sends him over the top. Larson is back up and looks to stop Aina with a superkick. Aina catches it and lands a solid capture suplex. Aina goes to bounce off the rope to build up some steam for a follow up, when a kick from Eric puts the stop to it. Firewoman has had enough and runs the apron, and snaps off a quick hurricanrana that sends Eric crashing to the floor below. Folz comes rushing over and shoulderblocks Fire down, and Kai is quick to join the action. Meanwhile in the ring Larson is able to catch Aina with a DDT, and he notices the action outside the ring. He shrugs his shoulders bounces off the ropes and takes off flying with a tope con helo. Everyone is down. Larson is able to pull himself back towards the ring. Aina is ready for him and pulls him back up and puts him down with a rope assisted neckbreaker. Aina covers, but only gets one before Eric is in and breaking up the pin. Kai follows in and shoves Eric away. Moments later Folz and Fire are in and we have an old fashioned pier six on our hands. Bodies are going everywhere and the ref is struggling to break it up. He finds himself between Fire and Folz. The ref tries to get them to go to neutral corners, but both are too fired up to care and simultaneously shove him back. That is enough for him, and he goes to call for the bell. He can't decide who to DQ at this point, so he just throws the whole thing out. The sound of the bell doesn't really do anything to stop the action, and it continues for another several minutes before Eric is able to slide out of the ring, pulling Larson with him. Folz is left alone with Firewoman and the Hawaiians, he eats a fist from each of the boys before Fire plants a crescent kick that sends him out of the ring. Larson and O'Mac go to collect him and lock eyes with the Hawaiians who make the motion of wanting the titles. Eric yells for them to get to the back of the line and BKK heads back up the ramp.
WINNER – No Contest in 12:01
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. PSYKLE – Davin Moreland Special Guest Referee“Pull Me Under” plays and Davin Moreland makes his way to the ring wearing a knee brace that would make Steve Austin proud. Davin gets a nice pop from the crowd and he acknowledges the fans as he steps into the ring. Davin waits in the corner while the participants are announced. First, “Animal I Have Become” plays and Psykle, along with IQ make their way to the ring. The big man steps over the top rope and heads to a corner while IQ gives him further instructions. “Scarecrow” plays and Moosehead Jack makes his way to the ring. Boos erupt from the crowd, but Moose ignores them and slides into the ring. He stares at Psykle for a moment, then looks at Davin and laughs. Moreland ignores Moose completely. Davin calls both men to the middle of the ring. He gives Psykle a quick pat down, then gives Moose a much more thorough pat down, annoying Moose greatly. Davin goes over the rules of the match, making certain to look at Moose when he says “I am the LAW in this ring.” Davin sends the two men to neutral corners and calls for the bell.
The bell barely rings when Moose turns and charges at Psykle and catches him with a shot to the face. The big man staggers back into the corner and Moose beats him down to the mat with punches and kicks. He would probably still be wailing on him, but Davin gets in there and pulls Moose back and warns him that he has to break before the five count. Moose cocks his fist back like he is going to hit Davin, Davin smiles and points to his chin. While this is going on, Psykle is back on his feet and he explodes out of the corner and nearly decapitates Moose with a clothesline.
Psykle pulls Moose to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a Samoan drop, then gets to his feet and drops an elbow across his chest and covers. Davin hits the mat and gives what appears to be a slightly fast count, Moose rolls his shoulder and gets to his feet and goes nose to nose with Davin. Davin just smirks and points to the OOWF logo on his shirt. It appears that Moose is doing all he can to keep it together. He turns around and Psykle charges off the ropes and catches Moose with a boot to the jaw that sends him to the floor.
Davin gives Moose a fast ten count, and Moose just beats the count back into the ring. He glares at Davin, but can’t do anything because Psykle grabs him and lands a knee to the gut, then hauls him up in a vertical suplex. Moose rakes Psykle’s eyes and Psykle drops Moose, Moose lands on his feet and immediately chop blocks Psykle, taking the big man to the mat. Moose grabs Psykle’s head and hammers him with punches, Davin gives him the five count, and Moose stops just before five. Moose pulls Psykle to his feet, lifts him for an atomic drop, then drops him crotch first on the top rope! Psykle howls in pain and gets off the rope onto the apron, then Moose charges across the ring and launches himself at Psykle sending them both to the floor.
Moose pulls Psykle to his feet and slams him back first into the apron, then rolls him into the ring. Moose follows and waits for Psykle to get on his hands and knees, then STOMPS on his fingers! Psykle grabs his hands and howls in pain, and we can see that old aggression starting to show. Moose kicks Psykle in the face, sending him back to the mat. Moose yells at Psykle to GET MAD! But Psykle has regained his composure so far. Moose grabs his legs and tells Davin to look at IQ, when Davin does Moos drops a knee right into his groin. Psykle snarls in pain and once again looks like he is losing it. IQ races around the ring and says something to Psykle and he slowly regains his composure. Psykle uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Moose charges for another clothesline over the top, but Psykle ducks and backdrops Moose over the top rope to the floor.
Moose hits the floor hard and Psykle starts t go out after him, but IQ barks an order at him and he stays where he is. Davin starts a ten count and Moose crawls to the ring appears to grab something and put it in his pocket, then gets on the apron and steps into the ring. Psykle grabs him, but Moose shoves him away and catches him with a spinning first to the temple. Moose turns his back and it looks like he has a chain. He wraps it around his fist and turns back o Psykle and swings, but Psykle moves out of the way! The shot DRILLS Davin Moreland right on the temple and the big man drops like a rock. Did Moose telegraph the hell out of that punch just so Psykle would move? Sure looked like it. Moose stands there looking down at Davin and laughing. Psykle recovers and grabs Moose and nails a BARRAGE of punches and kicks, then sets Moose on the top rope and hits a PSYCHO DRIVER! Psykle covers, but there is no referee! IQ looks at Davin, who is still down, then looks to the back, but no one is coming. IQ slides into the ring and counts one, two, THREE!
WINNER in 11:04 – Psykle
STANK & CHRIS EVANS vs. ALEXANDER DARLING & J-P SPARXXThis will be quite an encounter as we get some converging issues together for one hell of a match. Two former world champs, three former Onslaught Champs, two former IC champs…this match is championship caliber as Stank tags with a member of the Brass Knuckle Kings in Chris Evans. On the other side of the ring will stand JP Sparxx who has built up quite a rivalry with Stank as well as some long-term issues with Chris Evans. Tagging with Sparxx tonight is the current Onslaught Champion and someone who his own issues with both Stank and Chris Evans, one Alexander Darling. Stank and Chris Evans make their way out first separately of course as it’s not like Stank and Evans are best friends so Evans comes out first and waits for his partner. Stank gets into the ring and stares down his partner as they wait for the music of their opponents and it’s JP Sparxx coming down to ringside first with his girl Jewel. Sparxx is hobbling a bit even as he tries to hide it but the attacks this past week from Moosehead Jack and Ecosystem are having an effect. Sparxx gets halfway down to ringside and waits for Alexander’s music to hit and when it does, Alex enters the arena with Alexis at his side. At the top of the ramp, Alex hands off the Onslaught belt to his sister before meeting JP and then the two rush off to the ring and we are quickly underway.
Hightower calls for the bell as Evans pairs off with Darling and Sparxx with Stank and it looks like our ref is going to relax the rules a bit here. Evans and Darling crash to the outside and start fighting around the ringside area as Evans gets the first advantage when he double counters an Irish whip and slams Alex hard into the steel steps. Inside the ring, Sparxx is using a quick stick and move strategy against Stank and it’s keeping him off-kilter as he knocks Stank down to a knee. Sparxx goes to hit the ropes, but he’s stopped from the outside by Evans. Sparxx takes a swing at Evans, but Evans is able to duck and snap Sparxx neck over the top rope. That staggers JP and he turns right into a powerslam from the big former world champ. Evans quickly climbs the ropes and leaps with a FROG SPLASH. He makes a quick cover, but only gets a 2-count as Sparxx is able to roll his shoulder.
Stank and Evans look to stay on the attack, but they fail to notice Alex getting back on the apron and he jumps and nails Stank with a springboard leg lariat. Stank falls through the second rope and gets knocked all the way to the floor with a quick follow-up shoulder block from Alex. As Stank recovers a little on the outside, Evans spins Darling around and starts firing punches that stagger Darling. Before Alex can recover, Evans hits the ropes and nails AD with a step-up enzuriguri. He looks to continue the attack, but Sparxx has recovered and grabs Evans from behind and nails him with an INVERTED DDT. JP looks to hit the ropes, but this time Stank grabs him from the outside and trips him up before dragging him to the floor. Stank swings wildly at first and Sparxx is able to go back to work with some leg kicks as he tries to take the big man off his feet, but Stank recovers and goozles JP. Sparxx tries to fight it off, but Stank’s grip is tight and he slams Sparxx hard against the apron, not once, not twice, but three times and JP’s back has to be in pain.
Back inside the ring, Evans and Darling are both back to their feet and trading punches, Darling gets the advantage this time and nails Evans with a drop kick that sends him back to the floor. Darling looks like he’s going to fly in that direction, but he hits the ropes and runs across the ring towards Stank…TOPE CON HILO knocks Stank crashing back into the barricade. Just as Darling gets back to his feet, Evans is already back into the ring and he runs across the ring…FOSBURY FLOP takes Alex down. And now it looks like it’s JP Sparxx turn as he slides back into the ring and gets the crowd clapping, he hits the ropes…SPACE FLYING TIGER DROP. The crowd goes nuts with their “Holy Shit” chants, but there seems to be an issue as Sparxx hit the move clean, but he also landed on his knee hard.
Alex helps Sparxx back to his feet and JP is having a tough time standing and walking as they make their way around the ring to their corner. Sparxx takes a seat on the apron as Jewel and Alexis both come over to check on his knee. Alex has no choice but to get in the ring and he meets Stank there and it looks like he may have to go this alone for a while. Darling gets a quick flurry in as he batters Stank with high impact punches and kicks. He has Stank reeling and knowing his partner is in trouble, Alex looks to finish this quick as he nails a kick to Stank’s gut and looks to lift him up for the DARLING DRIVER, but Stank isn’t that beaten yet and he quickly reverses positions and gets Darling onto his shoulders and nails a SAMOAN DROP and that takes the air out of Darling’s sails.
And now we get a long portion of the match where Stank and Evans isolate Alex from his partner and slowly and methodically take him apart piece by piece. Stank and Evans, while not a real tag team are working very well together as they tag in and out and keep Alex off-base as Stank uses his power and strength and Evans uses his balanced attack. Evans is in the ring and he whips Alex to the ropes and drops down and rolls through into the SINGLE LEG CRAB and somewhere we hear a loud groan from the locker room. But that doesn’t stop Evans from leaning back with all his weight and trying to get Alex to tap. That doesn’t seem likely, but this does take a lot out of Alex as he slowly drags Evans towards the ropes and finally is able to reach out and grab one for the break. Alex drags himself to his feet and tries to make his way over to his corner, but Evans cuts that off and kicks Alex’s leg out from him and he crashes back to the mat. Evans drags Alex back to his corner and tags in Stank and now it’s Stank’s turn to start working over Alexander’s knee as he starts dropping elbows onto it.
Across the ring, Sparxx is standing on one foot and trying to get the crowd to will Alex over to make a tag. But Stank is keeping Alex grounded as he lifts Alex up-and-down for a series of hard bodyslams, and looks to follow it up as he wraps Darling’s leg up and attempts to go for a FIGURE-4, but Alex is able to grab Stank’s head and gets a quick small package for a 2-count. Stank looks upset as he gets back to his feet and tags in Evans. Stank lifts Darling up for a suplex as Evans climbs the ropes…POWERPLEX connects and Evans makes the cover…
1…
2…
No, Alex is able to kick out. But Evans isn’t letting up on the attack as he drags Alex to his feet and looks to keep working over the leg and it looks like he’s going for the Dragon Screw, but Alex is able to grab Evans and brings him in close and Alex quickly turns…STUNNER and both men are down. Hightower gives the mandatory count as Stank and Sparxx are both reaching out for the tag. Evans and Alex both crawl towards their corners and Evans makes the tag first and Alex looks a little tentative knowing Sparxx isn’t at 100% but makes the tag anyway. As Stank charges across the ring, JP enters the ring slingshot style and takes Stank down with a clothesline. JP hobbles back to his feet and quickly looks to the corner…SPLIT-LEGGED MOONSAULT connects and he makes the cover…
1…
2…
No, Evans pulls Sparxx off and that brings in Alex and now we get another pier-six brawl, but this time it’s Sparxx and Darling gaining the advantage. Darling grabs Evans around the waist and goes for a release German suplex, but Evans lands on his feet, but that doesn’t last long as Sparxx snaps off a nasty SUPERKICK that almost takes Evans head off. As JP celebrates. Alex yells duck and JP matrixes out of the way of a Stank clothesline attempt and Alexander nails a picture-perfect dropkick that sends Stank sprawling. Darling looks to take Evans out of the equation as he lifts him up for a DARLING DRIVER, but Evans grabs the ropes and both men go crashing to the floor.
JP stays on the attack inside the ring as he whips Stank hard into the corner and quickly follows him in with BAD MOON RISING. That had to hurt both men as Sparxx uses his bad knee to hit that. JP limps away as Stank staggers out of the corner and Sparxx plants him with a DOUBLE-ARM DDT. Sparxx is in control inside the ring when we hear a loud roar from the crowd and we see the current OOWF World Champ, Ecosystem on the stage. Standing next to him is Matt Folz and we see Eco open a briefcase and Folz nods as he rushes down the aisle. Folz looks into the ring at first before heading to the opposite side of the ringside area and helping his partner in BKK slam Alex into the steel post and Alex is busted wide-open. Inside the ring, Sparxx climbs the ropes and nails Stank with the RIVER DAWG. He’s about to go for the cover and should have it, but Evans is back in the ring…CHOP BLOCK takes out Evans knee.
Back outside the ring, Darling is trying to fight back against Folz, but the blood is affecting his offense and Folz is able to counter a Darling charge with a brutal AA-SPINEBUSTER on the floor. Folz keeps hammering away on Darling outside the ring as Stank and Evans start to work over Sparxx inside the ring. Can’t be sure if Stank knows what is happening outside the ring, but he sure isn’t letting it stop him from dropping elbow after elbow to Sparxx injured knee. Hightower finally gets Evans out of the ring as Stank lifts Sparxx high overhead and nails not just a powerbomb, but the triple STANKBOMB and holds him for the cover…
1…
2…
No, holy shit Sparxx somehow kicked out of that but it doesn’t stop Stank from holding onto JP’s legs and rolling him over and cinching in a DEEP BOSTON CRAB. That has to be murder on JP’s injured knee, but he’s refusing to give up as slowly, inch by inch, crawls towards the ropes and he’s about to make it when Evans gets back in the ring and locks in the RINGS OF SATURN. Hightower begins the five count to get Evans out of the ring, but with Sparxx having nowhere to go and the pain in his legs beginning to get too much, he has no choice but to tap out.
WINNERS in 17:43 via tap out…Chris Evans and Stank.
ECOSYSTEM vs. EL LOBO SANGRIENTO – Onslaught Rules Match“Joker and the Theif” by Wolfmother opens up, and the fans pop big for the newcomer in El Lobo Sangriento! ELS does a show of kicks at the top of the rope, but walking down the ramp and slapping the hands of the fans. He makes it to the end, and does a little pop up to the second rope before climbing over the third.
PA: I know who you are…the leader of lost souls….
“Immortal” by Adema plays over the internal PA system as Ecosystem comes out in a flash of fireworks. He is wearing a throwback singlet that manages not to look as stupid as Michael Cole’s and is wearing the World Title over his shoulder. He climbs up to the ring and raises the World Title above his head, spinning the metal plate of his own face as rounds of fireworks shoot off. He hands it to the referee, and here we go!
El Lobo and Eco start with a collar and elbow tie up, Eco goes back into a hammerlock, El Lobo twirl his bod and throws Eco forward with an armdrag. ELS takes a swing, but Eco pops up an armdrags his over as well! Kick to the back of ELS by Eco. Ecosystem bounds off the ropes, low backslide kick to the face of ELS. Eco into the cover, good for one. Eco immediately goes outside the ropes to go where he’s most comfortable (besides the boardroom)…the air. Eco off the top with a flying clothesline, El Lobo leaps up and grabs the arm and twists, SLAMMING Eco to the ground in a cross armbreaker, Del Rio style. Amazing for a man of his size! Eco flails wildly pulling his legs around the ropes to break the hold. Eco has used his first rope break.
As Eco slowly gets up, ELS playfully says, “gotta keep up, old man!” pissing off Ecosystem, who slaps him across his masked face. ELS rears back and knocks Eco in the jaw, goes for a second punch but Eco kicks him right in the elbow. Eco snaps back into the hammerlock, pushing and slamming the side of ELS’s arm into the turnbuckle post. The Wolf howls for a second as Eco uses the ring ropes to torment Sangriento’s arm, but the referee makes him break the hold. Surprisingly, Eco acquiesces, but not before kicking ELS in the arm. Eco backs up a few paces and charges forward with the running knee….nobody home as ELS dodges out of the way. Eco turns around, right into a hard knife edged chop from ELS! One-WOOOOO! Two-WOOOOO! Three-WOOOOOO! Four—Eco chops across the bad arm of El Lobo, and uses it to yank the massive lucahdor into the corner face-first!
Eco goes from behind for a leveraged backslide, almost slamming ELS down, it was so quick. Ecosystem throws his feet on the ropes instinctively for a patented Phone It In cover, but the referee calls it and Eco drops the legs, making it only good for a one-count. Eco hits himself in the head, as though he forgot not to cheat in this one. Ecosystem takes a dropkick to the sternum of Lobo, knocking him on his ass. Eco off the ropes with another low backslide, but El Lobo throws his body back flat on the mat to avoid. Eco drops a short elbow in response across the neck of El Lobo, winding him as he rises.
Eco gives El Lobo another sharp kick to the elbow, but then looks toward the ropes. He makes a run, but El Lobo Sangriento catches Eco off the ropes with a hard kick to the gut. He pulls his head between his legs, hooks him up for a power bomb…but Eco uses the momentum to slide over the back and mule kick El Lobo forward. ELS stops short of the turnbuckles with Eco backing up into the opposite corner, we’ve seen this before, ELS turns around, SUPERKICK! by Eco…but it looks like he only caught the chin, ELS falls back stunned into the turnbuckles. Ecosystem climbs up the corner and wrenches El Lobo’s head back, goging for an Endgame off the top…but El Lobo Sangriento uses his strength and weight advantage to pull Eco forward...LA BALA de PLATA! ELS has hit his signature piledriver, pulling Eco down from the top rope. Sangriento into the cover: 1…2….3! Eco’s shoulder went up after the third count!
WINNER in 11:19….El Lobo Sangriento!
El Lobo has his arm raised by the referee to a big pop. Ecosystem, shaking the cobwebs from his head, sits up mighty fast and begins screaming at the referee. El Lobo chuckles a little as Ecosystem is handed his World Title belt after his loss…and Eco SMASHES the belt across the masked face of El Lobo, shattering the Ecosystem faceplate! El Lobo falls back flat to the ground, but Ecosystem screams, “MY FACE!” and attempts to gather all the broken pieces of his face, clutching them close with his title belt as he rushes out to boos.
STAN FULTON vs. DH MAGNUSSON – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchThe uber-popular DH Magnusson comes out first, as all the babies and furry animals greet his entrance to the ring. He's shaking hands with everyone and getting a really awesome response from the Angolan crowd. He acknowledges them and gets into the ring. Senior Referee Davis Hightower takes note and then the music changes for the Champion, Stan “Crusher” Fulton. They boo. He doesn't seem to care much, but you know that deep down he does. He's a sensitive fellow. He gets into the ring and hands his belt to Hightower who holds it in the air. This match is for the OOWF Intercontinental Championship. Hightower hands the belt to the outside and calls for the bell...WE'RE UNDERWAY!
DH and Fulton move toward the middle of the ring. Fulton starts to run his mouth, and it looks like DH is going to ignore it for a bit. Fulton gets louder and DH slaps the taste out of his mouth. This gets a monster pop. Fulton tries to swing back in retaliation, but Mags fires back with big left hands. And I mean BIG left hands – Fulton's head is snapping back and everything. He gets forced all the way to the corner, and doesn't seem to be completely with us in consciousness-land. DH pulls Fulton out of the corner, but not too far as he hits a big Short-Arm Clothesline, which knocks the fat guy on his ass. Mags ventures all the way up to the first rope (not the top, the first) and comes down with 2 knees right on the ribs (probably, can't tell for SURE) of Fulton. That should knock the wind out of him, and it appears to as Magnusson covers. 1....2...no, Fulton kicks out.
DH tries to pull Fulton up. Obviously it takes a while, but Mags is a pretty strong guy, so he eventually makes it happen. Mags tries to hit a German Suplex, but he sort of sapped his energy getting Fulton up. So instead, it's an Inverted DDT and a cover...1....2....Fulton rolls the shoulder. Mags slaps the mat and goes right after Fulton's “injured” knee. He works it over with a couple of elbow drops before deciding on a Figure Four. He locks it in, and DH is cinching back on it, as he's gone deep in the playbook for this. Fulton has become aware of his surroundings again. He's in pretty big trouble, but after a couple of minutes, he's able to barely get to the roped. Hightower forces a break and DH rolls away a bit, and this time lets Fulton get to his feet on his own.
It takes a minute, but Fulton does get to his feet, definitely favoring his knee. DH charges, but Fulton thinks he's a step ahead and pulls down the top rope, expecting Mags to Low Bridge himself out of the ring. But suddenly Mags comes to a complete halt as he gets to Fulton, still holding the rope. The crowd pops huge for this. BIG Left Hand to the jaw rocks Fulton again. And another. And ANOTHER. This has just been a brutal beatdown to this point, and Fulton is bleeding from a couple of areas on his face. He pulls Fulton to the middle of the ring and sets him up for a Russian Leg Sweep...He's going for Dream Street! He starts to tilt Fulton back, but as he's going back, Fulton makes contact with Hightower's head. It didn't look like much contact, but this is wrestling so...REF BUMP~!
Mags hits the Russian Leg Sweep, and rolls into the Dragon Sleeper, but notices that Hightower is probably dead. Fulton is tapping but no one is there to see it, and eventually passes out. DH is kind of lost as to what to do, so he drops the hold and tries to wake up Hightower. This takes a bit, and suddenly Hightower starts to come around. Unfortunately for Magnusson, nobody sees Fulton come to his senses, and hit Mags with a VICIOUS low blow. He drops and writhes on the mat as Fulton pulls him to his feet. DRAGLINE~! Hightower makes the overly dramatic “I've been ref bumped so therefore I can't recover all the way ever” slow count. Great win, “Champ”.
WINNER in 13:51 by PINFALL...Stan “Crusher” Fulton!
