OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Nairobi, Kenya
TEXPRESS vs. TO BE ANNOUNCED“God Blessed Texas”, and the Kenyan crowd has no idea where Texas is. But they don't care, as they get to their feet and applaud enthusiastically. Chad's in full-on pander mode down the ramp, slapping hands, kissing babies, you know, the usual. Zane on the other hand seems really subdued, barely making an effort to give the fans high-fives. They get into the ring, and Zane leans in a corner as Chad hits turnbuckles trying to fire up the crowd. Fall River's Own Referee Angelo Barros watches on in amusement as we wait to see who “TBA” is. Just as we all wonder the same thing, the lights go completely out. Then the Jumbotron fires up, in relatively simple lettering:
WELCOME BACK...
(then flashes) Alexis Darling!
The crowd goes batshit for that. Texpress both look bemused in the ring.
WELCOME BACK...
Davin Moreland!
Zane finally seems to perk up as he claps his hands waiting for the entrance.
WELCOME BACK...
Nothing Happened!
TEXPRESS vs. NOTHING HAPPENED“Operating Correctly” fires up after a big pyro display, and the crowd is giddy for the return of Nothing Happened. Whether this will be a regular team or not is unknown, but even for one night only, it's pretty cool. Alexis gets 100% positive response, and Davin, doing some character rehabilitation over the last few weeks, is around 80%. It's a truly disgusting display of pandering, as Davin goes INTO the crowd to give high-fives. This, as you can imagine, takes a while, but eventually, they make their way into the ring, and its hugs and handshakes for everyone involved, even Angelo Barros. It's a truly sickeningly sweet display in the ring. Eventually Barros breaks the cycle of love and calls for the bell...WE'RE UNDERWAY!
It will be Alexis and Chad to start with, but not until they do some rhythmic clapping to get the crowd going. Lockup, and Chad works a headlock. Alexis shoves him off into the ropes, but Chad ducks a clothesline. He stops short and tries a Pele Kick, but it misses. Chad somehow lands on his feet, but it gives Alexis the opportunity to hit a Snap Suplex. She heads to the top, and comes off with a Macho Man Elbow! It connects...1...2...No, Chad kicks out. Alexis tries to slow things up with a Chinlock, but Chad pretty easily gets to a vertical base, and hits a nice Jawbreaker on Alexis. Chad takes the opportunity to tag Zane, and Alexis manages to tag in Davin.
More rhythmic clapping. Give Texpress and NH credit, they're taking this “Fire up the crowd in the opener” thing to heart. Lockup. Zane gets the advantage and shoves Davin all the way to the corner. What's that? A smile, Zane? Clean break, and we'll do it again. Zane decides on a headlock, which Davin turns into a Side Suplex. Davin runs the ropes. LEAPFROG by Zane, woah. Davin comes in hard with a Clothesline try, but Zane hits a Steamboat Arm drag instead. Davin's a little surprised by this so he runs at Zane again...who hits yet ANOTHER Steamboat Arm drag. Davin gets to his feet, dusts himself off, and gives Zane some respectful applause. Lockup try again, but this time Davin takes an extra step in, shortening the distance. Zane didn't anticipate it, and eats a Spine buster for his trouble. Davin roars his approval and heads to the top rope. Blind tag from Alexis, and Davin bends down, allowing Alexis to get on his shoulders. She is WAY up there. Zane tries to shake the cobwebs out and staggers to his feet. There goes Alexis...Super Missile Dropkick drills Zane right in the chops. She covers! 1...2...Chad breaks up the count.
Davin rushes in and ushers Chad over the top rope. Alexis drags Zane to the corner, but has to wait for Davin to leave the ring to tag him in. This is taking a while. Finally Davin heads to the top rope. He's about to jump off and do something, when out of the sky, literally out of NOWHERE, Chad comes down with a Dropkick to the back of Davin's head, sending him flying! A replay shows that Chad hit that one from the GODDAMNED BUNNYWALK! The crowd rightfully fires up a “Holy Shit” chant, followed immediately with a “This is Awesome” chant. But then...
PA: I know who you are…the leader of lost souls….The crowd turns in a heartbeat as they boo the shit out of CEO/GM the Ecosystem makes his way to the top of the ramp. He's got a mic.
E: That's very good everyone. That's one heck of an opening match, don't you think? But, I've got more important things to do...so I'm declaring this match a draw...WINNER in 8:16 - A Draw
E: You've done your job well. The crowd's all fired up. Listen to them. Now do me a favor. Get out of my ring, so we can let the wrestlers these folks actually came to see get in it. Thank you. Good job.He turns to walk to the back, but Davin has come to, and now he has a mic...after a big blow to the head no less. This should be interesting.
DM: Hey! Junichiro!He turns around.
DM: I have a counter-proposal.
E: This, I gotta hear. What, Davin?
DM: Well first of all-
E: You know, on second thought-
DM: CUT HIS FUCKING MIC ALREADY!Eco continues talking, but no one hears it, because his mic has actually been cut. The crowd realizes this and roars their approval.
DM: See, Junichiro? This is the difference between paying people to be your friend, and actually making friends and human connections with others.Eco is FUMING~! But eventually gets the idea and stops talking.
DM: So anyway, before you so rudely interrupted me...AGAIN...I have a counter-proposal. The proposal is this: We restart this match, and give this crowd everything they want and paid to see. Meanwhile, you can go back to your office backstage, and Go Fuck Yourself. The crowd is loving this, and Eco is doing a hell of a job non-verbally selling the “How Dare You” insulted heel. What a pro.
DM: So Angelo, if you don't mind, let's ring the bell and get this match going again! The crowd pops as Angelo does indeed call for the bell once again.
TEXPRESS vs. NOTHING HAPPENEDThis time it's Davin and Zane locking up in the middle of the ring. However, as the crowd is focused on the in-ring action – about 50 Blackwater Security people, fully armed with Automatic Rifles and Kevlar – storm the ring area. They've got everyone, Barros, Alexis, Davin, Zane and Chad, all face-down in the ring, with rifles pointed at the back of their heads. Their hands and feet are zip-tied and they are carried out of the arena. The crowd litters the ring with trash, and a significant portion of them leave. As the four wrestlers are carried out, they go right by Ecosystem, who's smirking and waving goodbye to them.
WINNER – No Decision in 0:14 – No Contest
<”O Death” plays over the speakers as the lights turn off and the tron glows an eerie red. Whispers can be heard in the air>
To the wrestlers of the OOWF…
Remember who you are…
Remember who came before you…
You ask my name. You would know it if you heard it, but it does not matter now…
June Eighth, Two-Thousand And Eleven…all will be revealed, all will be healed…
My name is DEATH…and through DEATH, there will be new LIFE.
<”My name is Death and the end is here…” plays, and the lights return>
MATT FOLZ vs. PSYKLE – Onslaught RulesPsykle and then Folz come out. Folz shows off his pretty shiny Onslaught belt. Psykle looks like a caged animal, as they come face to face, kinda, in the center of the ring. Barros calls for the bell and we are OFF.
Folz pushes Psykle back. A few inches. Psykle's expression barely changes. Folz pushes him again, with Psykle moving a few inches again, and no change of expression. Folz goes to push him a third time, but THIS time, Psykle moves, more quickly than you'd think, too, and pushes Folz. Folz goes flying way more than a few inches, all the way to the other side of the ring, and bounces out with the momentum, right into a clothesline from Psykle. Folz lands hard on the mat, and Psykle stalks him, crazy-biker style, putting a few boots to him. He goozles Folz against the mat, drawing
his first warning, as the referee checks and it's not just a hold, it's a choke. Psykle picks Folz up from the mat and throws him into the corner, following him in with a really really big 7'3" splash. Matt crumples to one knee, as Psykle goes around the ring to gain momentum for another, Folz decides discretion is the better part of valor and slides between the top two rings.
Matt Folz has used his first rope break. Barros steps between Psykle and Folz, and Psykle BARELY stops in time to avoid a suspension. He glares at Folz, but steps back, allowing Folz to regroup.
Folz circles around Psykle, who continues to give him crazy-biker stare. Finally, Psykle runs at him with a roar (literally), but Folz is ready, and hits a drop toe hold, taking the big man down. Folz leaps onto his back and works on getting a cross face (too soon!) on him. He does get it locked in, and holds on tight. BUT, Psykle is a lot taller than, um, everyone, so he's closer to the ropes than Folz thinks. It takes him a bit of stretching, but he finally gets there.
Psykle has used his first rope break. Folz decides he's too big to not try and take as much out of him as allowed, and doesn't release the hold until Barros starts to count. Folz avoids another warning, and Psykle gets quickly to his feet. So far Psykle's size has given him the advantage, but Folz isn't exactly short. Folz slingshots off the ropes with a drop kick, again disrupting Psykle's game, and getting him into perfect position for a T-bone suplex. Psykle hits the mat hard, and Folz goes for the pin, one...two...NO! Psykle kicks out with extreme authori-tay, and gets to his feet, grabbing Folz by the hair as he stands.
Barros awards Psykle with his second warning. Psykle drops Folz and whips around on Barros, who points to his OOWF logo. Psykle appears to take very deep breaths, and compose himself, and turns back toward Folz. But Folz has recovered, and kicks Psykle in the gut, doubling him over. He plants Psykle head first with a DDT, and then tries to lock in the STF. Psykle struggles to reach the ropes, but this time Folz paid better attention, and Psykle is going to have to think of something else.
Folz has him locked it for an Orton-esque amount of time. Psykle appears to be fading, but a crazed look comes over his face, and with a very loud roar he rolls over! Folz holds on, until his other shoulder hits the mat and Barros has to count, one...two....NO! Folz releases rather than lose, and the two men separate. Psykle is enraged and strikes out with a closed fist, clocking Folz. Barros steps between and
gives Psykle his third warning.Psykle leaps to his feet and roars with rage. He whirls around to face ... someone. Folz has hit the top ropes and goes to leap off for a cross body, but Psykle catches him and slams him to the ground. Folz looks out, but instead of covering, Psykle puts the boots to him....lots of boots. If JR were here, he'd be talking about dry mud holes! But he should have just gone for the pin because all of a sudden...BUZZ!!!!!! Time has run out!
WINNER – 15 Minute Time Limit Draw
CHRIS EVANS vs. J-P SPARXXThe Trooper hits and Lionheart Chris Evans comes out to a chorus of boos. Evans shoots back a "whatever, you wish you were me", before heading to the ring. He slides in and takes the turnbuckles seeming to enjoy the chorus of boos. Let it Rock hits, and the crowd erupts for the arrival of JP Sparxx and Jewel. The pose on the stage and absorb the cheers. Evans just waves them away. They come down and enter the ring, and Sparxx gets up close for smack talk with Evans. Evans tries to pie face JP away, but Sparxx cuts him off, and the fists start flying. The ref shrugs his shoulders, calls for the bell and this one is underway.
Both men exchange blows, with neither seeming to gain an advantage. Finally Evans takes the upper hand and whips Sparxx to the ropes. Evans ducks for the backbody drop, but Sparxx rolls over his back. Sparxx goes for a superkick, but Evans catches it. Evans dodges the attempt at an Enziguri, but cannot dodge the follow up heel kick. Evans is stunned, and Sparxx follows up with a standing dropkick that takes him down. Sparxx heads off the ropes looking for more damage. Evans is not down however, and pops up butting Sparxx to the mat with a quick overhead belly to belly. Evans covers, but is only able to get one.
With both men back on their feet, what follows next is a sequence of moves and counter moves with neither able to take a clear advantage. It seems the time they spent working together has allowed them to have an answer for each other’s offense. Finally Sparxx is able to take an advantage when he catches a leg and rolls Evans into a single leg crab. Evans is in pain, but gets to the ropes causing the break. Sparxx goes to lift Chris up, but a poke to the eye puts a stop to that. Evans follows up with a DDT, but still is only able to get one. Evans places Sparxx up on a top turnbuckle, and lies in with some closed fists. Evans heads up for the supercanrana, but Sparxx counters by coming off the top with a sit-down power bomb. He covers, but Evans kicks out at two.
As both men get back to a vertical base, Evans catches Sparxx with a snap suplex. He follows up by sending him off the ropes and landing a quick power slam. Evans covers, but only gets two. Evans again goes to send Sparxx to the ropes, but JP reverses and catches Chris on the rebound with a dropsault. Sparxx goes to pull Evans back up, but Evans again goes for the eyes. Sparxx stumbles over to the ropes and Evans clotheslines him over the top and to the outside.
Evans follows him out with a plancha sending him crashing to the ground. Evans rolls Sparxx partially back in the ring, leaving his head lying on the apron. Evans gets a disturbed look in his eyes, and shoves a time keeper away, grabbing his chair. Evans rears back to slam it onto Sparxx, when he feels someone pulling it away. He spins and sees Jewel holding onto the other end. Evans pulls harder attempting to wrest it from the curvy valet, when she suddenly releases her end. This causes the chair to fly back into Evans face. He is stunned and drops it, and spins around just in time for a recovered JP to nail him with a running senton splash from the apron. Sparxx rolls Evans back into the ring. He heads to the apron, and then lands a picture perfect Springboard Shooting Sparxx Press. The count begins
One
Two
Three. Evans gets his shoulder up a second to late, and this one is over.
WINNER – in 15:48 – JP Sparxx
Sparxx celebrates the victory and Evans tries to attack from behind, but Sparxx avoids the attack and shoves Evans to the ropes, then catches him with a big back body drop on the rebound. Evans gets to his feet and staggers against the ropes, Sparxx charges in and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Evans rails on the outside, and Sparxx dares him to get into the ring again. Evans looks like he is going to lose his mind, then calms down, smirks and turns around and walks away. Sparxx turns around and gets a FACE FULL OF BLACK MIST! OH GOD! Sparxx falls to the mat writhing in pain, and we see it is KETSUEKI SEISHIN standing there. He stands there motionless for a moment while Sparxx writhes in agony, then pulls Sparxx up, and DRIVES Sparxx to the mat on the back of his head with a JOKER DRIVER! Ket leaves the ring and Jewel rushes into the ring to check on Sparxx. Ket slowly backs up the ramp, when he gets to the top, he is joined by Aisha. She grins at Ket’s work, then the two of them head to the back.
REGICIDE vs. DRINK & DESTROY – Round Robin Finals, Winner Gets a PPV Title Shot“Frontline” plays, and Regicide enters the arena to a mixed reaction. L.D. Williams and Tytan respond with their usual ambivalence as they stride to the ring. Tytan stretches in the corner, while Williams runs the ropes to warm up. The crowd holds its breath as the lights dim, and explodes as “Alcoholin’ Ass blasts through the arena and Drink and Destroy make their way to the ring through the crowd. Outback Jack and Dynamite Danny Taylor meet Dashing Victor Deniro at ringside and, after a few words of advice, climb into the ring. The teams meet in the middle of the ring and exchange handshakes as referee Angelo Barros gives them their instructions. There’s a brief staredown, and then Williams and OBJ exchange a nod and head to their corners. Barros calls for the bell and we’re underway.
Tytan and Taylor circle and lock up. Tytan backs Taylor to the corner and makes a clean break. They move in for a second lock up and Taylor shoots the legs, taking Tytan to the mat. He gets in a couple of elbow strikes before Tytan throws him off. Both men are up and Tytan slips a punch, hooking Taylor’s arm and hitting a half-nelson suplex. Taylor dodges a kick and rolls to his feet. He tries to tackle Tytan, but Tytan manages to grab him around the waist. He tries for a gut-wrench suplex, but can’t get him over. The struggle takes them into the ropes and Barros calls for a break. They circle a third time, and Tytan side-steps the lock up and sends Taylor to the Regicide corner. He follows him in and makes the tag.
Regicide take Taylor over with a tandem suplex. Williams hops to the second turnbuckle and drops an elbow into his throat. He rolls Taylor to his feet and sends him to the ropes. Standing dropkick by Williams. He sits Taylor up and locks on a headlock. Taylor quickly struggles to his feet. He tries to shoot him off, but Williams hangs on. Taylor tries to suplex out, but Williams reverses the momentum and rolls him to the mat. He transitions to a head scissors and stretches out to make the tag. Tytan comes in and drops a knee into Taylor’s stomach. He grabs his legs, turns, and falls back, slingshoting Taylor into the turnbuckles. Tytan ducks and lifts Danny onto his shoulders as he reaches out to make the tag. Williams climbs the ropes as Tytan steps back, but before he can leap, Taylor throws his weight forward and rolls Tytan up. No count as Tytan isn’t the legal man, and Williams drops off the turnbuckles with a stomp to break it up.
Williams drags Taylor to his feet and shoves him into the corner. He hits him with a series of chops and pulls him out. STO! Williams rolls Taylor over and tries to tie on the STF, but Taylor rolls free. Williams backs Taylor to the ropes and sends him across the ring, but Taylor reverses and KILLS him with a massive spine buster. It takes pretty much everything Taylor has and both men are down. Barros counts, and Taylor is moving by four, crawling toward his corner. Williams stirs as well, and tries to catch him, but Taylor makes a final lunge into his corner and makes the tag.
OBJ storms into the ring. He blasts right past Williams and into the Regicide corner, nailing Tytan with a forearm that knocks him off the apron. OBJ hits the ropes and comes up behind Williams, but his former partner knows him too well and drops out of the way of the Boomerang! OBJ hits the opposite ropes, and Williams pops up, but he’s too late to do anything other than get leveled by a clothesline. OBJ stomps on Williams and tries for the Croc Hunter, but Williams squirms free. Both men are up and Williams catches OBJ with a kick to the midsection. He sets up the Canadian Destroyer, but OBJ reverses it into an Alabama slam! OBJ makes the cover, but Tytan is in to break it up at two.
Taylor tries to come back in to help, but Barros cuts him off. Regicide send OBJ to the ropes and try for a tandem clothesline, but OBJ ducks underneath. He rebounds off the ropes and levels them both with a double clothesline. Tytan grabs OBJ, but Barros sees him and sends him out of the ring. OBJ hits the ropes behind Williams - Boomerang! OBJ covers, and Barros counts One, Two, Thr - Williams rolls a shoulder just in time. OBJ drags Williams to his feet and sends him into the D&D corner. He hits a few chops and lifts him onto the turnbuckles. He tags Taylor, and D&D climb the turnbuckles as well, looking for a tandem superplex. Tytan shoves past Barros and gets underneath them and shoves them off as they hit the move, sending all three men crashing to the mat.
Tytan is the only competitor standing, but before he can take advantage Barros forces him back to his corner. OBJ drops off the apron to the floor, leaving the legal men in the ring, so Barros starts a count. Taylor is up at five, with Williams not far behind him. Williams crawls for his corner, but Taylor grabs his leg. Williams tries to break free with an enzugiri but Taylor ducks it and grabs that leg as well. He tries for a wheelbarrow suplex, but Williams reverses it into a rollup, getting a two count. Both men are up and Williams throws a punch. Taylor ducks and hits an atomic drop, but the move bounces Williams towards his corner and he makes the tag. OBJ is back on the apron, and Taylor manages to make the tag as well.
Tytan levels OBJ with a clothesline and continues on to the ropes. He tries to do it again, but OBJ ducks this one and grabs Tytan in a waistlock - german suplex. OBJ pulls Tytan to his feet and rocks him with a European uppercut, and then sends him to the ropes. Williams makes the blind tag. OBJ plants Tytan with a power slam and hooks the leg, but Barros doesn’t count. OBJ questions the ref, who points towards Williams on the apron. OBJ approaches him, and Tytan manages to grab his legs. Williams springs off the top rope - Canadian Destroyer! Williams is down as well, and can’t follow up. Barros sends Tytan to the apron and turns back as Williams covers. He counts One…Two…Thr-OBJ rolls a shoulder!
Williams crawls to his corner and makes the tag. Tytan manages to grab OBJ before he reaches his corner. He drags him back to the middle of the ring and lifts him up - Williams rebounds of the ropes - Executioner’s Song! Taylor is in, but Williams manages to trip him up as Tytan covers and Barros counts One…Two…Three.
WINNERS, in 14:42, Regicide.
THE BRASS KNUCKLE KINGS vs. THE FLYIN HAWAIIANS – Non-Title MatchIt’s time for yet another chapter in the ongoing saga between the Hawaiians and our OOWF Tag Team Champion, Brass Knuckle Kings. It was just a month ago when the Kings thought they had vanquished the Hawaiians but with the rest of the tag division caught up in a round-robin to determine the next #1 contender, the Kings and Hawaiians were placed against each other a few more times and in those encounters, it has been the Hawaiians looking like the victors, but in none of those matches were the tag belts on the line. They are not on the line once again tonight, but another victory by the Hawaiians over the Kings and they may put themselves right back in the title picture. While most of the Kings have been quiet these last few weeks, Eric has been very vocal about being a hero in the OOWF’s world of evil. Let’s see how it affects things tonight as both teams are already in the ring and Fall River’s own Angelo Barros goes over the rules with both teams. He calls for the bell and it looks like Kai and Larson will be starting us off.
We get a clean lock-up in the center of the ring as Kai and Larson trade positions back-and-forth looking to gain an edge and it’s Kai pushing Larson into the corner for our first break and we get a clean one from Kai with a little shove as he backs off. Larson doesn’t take kindly to that and charges out of the corner right into a picture perfect arm drag. And not just one or two, but a series of three ends with Larson rolling into his corner and making the tag to Eric. Kai makes the tag as well and we get a similar sequence of events from Aina and Eric before Eric bails to the floor and he meets up with Larson as they go over their game plan once again. Back in the ring, Eric tags out to Larson and Aina goes for an Irish whip on Bryce, but Bryce stops in his tracks as Aina goes for a leapfrog and Bryce takes him down with a nasty STO.
And we get our first heat segment of the match as Eric and Bryce work as well as any tag team in the business when they have the advantage. They’ve cut off the ring and have Aina isolated in their half of the ring with quick tags as they wear him down with the basic tag team moves. Aina makes a few brief spurts and gets close to making the hot tag, but Eric and Bryce are masters at cutting off the ring and keeping Kai just inches from getting into the ring. Eric even busts out a Randy Savage esque double axehandle to Aina’s arm as they continue the slow, methodical workover of Aina. The shocking thing in these first 7 minutes of the match is that Eric and Bryce have wrestled a completely clean tag team match.
Larson is in the ring and takes Aina down with a release German suplex. BL gets back to his feet and waits for Aina to get up as well. As Aina gets to his knees, Larson charges and goes for a SHINING WIZARD but Aina sees it coming is able to duck under and he quickly rolls on top of Larson and locks in a CROSSFACE. Bryce is really close to the ropes though and we get a break, but there’s enough of a distance between the two now so Aina can reach over and he finally makes the hot tag to Kai. Kai springboards over the top and takes Larson down with a leg lariat. He catches Eric coming in as well and takes him down with a quick power slam. Larson tries to break up the flurry by dropping an elbow, but Kai moves out of the way, and the elbow nails Eric right in the center of the chest.
Kai is quickly back to his feet as is Aina and the toss Larson out of the ring first before lifting Eric to his feet. They go to work on Eric with a quick succession of strikes that have him staggered. Kai takes Eric down with a quick DDT, but he holds on and floats over and lifts Eric’s head up for Aina to come off the ropes with a low dropkick to Eric’s face. Neither of the Hawaiians notice Larson back in the ring and he’s able to SPEAR Kai damn near out of his boots. We get a nice chain wrestling sequence from Bryce and Aina now as both look to get the advantage back for their team. Bryce looks to have it as he has Aina off-balance with a kick to the gut. He goes for the first of HARRY, RON, & HERMIONE but Aina has that well scouted and grabs the foot and sweeps Bryce off his feet and quickly locks his legs, rolls him over…SHARPSHOOTER.
Before any real sustainable damage can be done, Eric is back to his feet and he lifts Aina off Bryce and spins him around and plants him in the center of the ring with the SMACKDOWN. He goes for the cover, but only gets a two-count before Kai breaks up the count. Kai lifts Eric up and sends him crashing into the corner. Kai looks to follow up, but Eric slides out between the ropes and nails a kick to Kai’s head that sends him reeling. Eric looks to take advantage and quickly climbs the ropes and looks to leap off with another double-axehandle, but Aina pushes Kai out of the way and he’s able to avoid the brunt of the blow. Aina quickly grabs Eric around the midsection and nails an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
The match continues for the next few minutes with all four wrestlers coming back and nailing some of their signature moves and neither team really getting total control of the match. Eric and Kai are the legal men when they both go for the same move and wind up knocking heads. Eric crashes back to his corner and Larson reaches down to make the tag and Eric looks completely out of it. He may have a concussion with how hard he hit Kai’s head, but Kai’s a Hawaiian and we all know the islanders have harder heads and it’s totally not a stereotype or whatever so he’s only a little dazed. Bryce charges trying to take advantage, but Kai sees him coming and ducks under the clothesline and grabs Bryce from behind…LUNGBLOWER and Bryce bounces hard. Kai quickly barrel rolls into his corner and makes the tag to Aina and Aina climbs the ropes. Kai heads back to the center of the ring, Irish whip to Larson and as Larson hits the ropes and comes back, Kai tosses him straight up in the air as Aina leaps…MOLO’KAI COCKTAIL and Larson is folded up like an accordion. Aina makes the cover…
1…
2…Eric finally realizes where he is.
3!!! But it’s a second too late as Barros comes down for the third and final count.
WINNERS in 17:59…The Flyin’ Hawaiians.
STAN FULTON vs. DH MAGNUSSON – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchPA: I Know Who You Are, The Leader Of Lost Souls....
Ecosystem is out, and walks straight away to the announcers' table, ostensibly to scout Crusher's in-ring performance. Razz offers him a headset, but he shakes his head, disclaiming interest in commentary.
“Crusher” by the Ramones plays over the PA system and, in a flash of fireworks and lights, the Intercontinental Champion emerges from the back, title slung over his shoulder as he lumbers toward the ring. Storming up the steps, he almost throws the title at the referee as he bounds off the ropes in preparation. DH Magnusson is out next, through the curtain to the tune of “Alcoholin’ Ass.” He collects in the cheers for a moment, and then runs down to the ring, sliding under the ropes.
Fulton immediately begins dropping lariats across the back of DH Magnusson, trying to make sure the Mag Militant can’t get to his feet. As Magnusson resists and begins blocking, Fulton drops on him with a front face lock. Surprising mat wrestling from a large man. DH tries to force his way up, but Fulton’s girth and leverage is too much. Intelligently, Magnusson manages to slide back and wraps his legs around the ropes, leading to the ref breaking the hold. As Fulton reaches to charge back in, Magnusson POPS him with a head butt, knocking the big man back.
DH Magnusson pops off the ropes with a quick swinging neck breaker, taking the mountain of a man off his feet. DH goes down for his own front face lock, but Stan Fulton flips him overhead for a big suplex. Magnusson lands hard, clutching the small of his back. Fulton picks his spot, and comes down with a knee trembler that knocks DH Magnusson for a loop. Fulton drops down on the Drink and Destroyer, but only gets a two-count. Second hook of the leg, second kick out. Third hook of the leg barely gets one. As DH rises, Fulton grabs him by the back of the head, throwing Magnusson into the top turnbuckle headfirst. DH is a bit stunned as Stan Fulton reverse Stinger Splashes DH Magnusson chest first into the turnbuckles.
Fulton throws Magnusson to the ground, tries to go for another pin but DH Magnusson swings up with a kick to the side of the head of the Crusher. Crusher stumbles back with more surprise than pain. DH swings around the side with a kick to the inside of the big man’s knee, cutting him off from the standing position. Stan Fulton intelligently moves to put some distance between the two men, pie facing Magnusson back down as he hobbles halfway across the ring. Magnusson swings around, picks his spot, hops up—BIG swinging kick to the side of Fulton’s head! The big man is sent stumbling.
DH Magnusson charges the stumbling Stan Fulton, but Fulton throws him over the ropes with a back body drop. Magnusson goes SPLAT with a ten foot fall, after a grab at the ropes failed to reach. Fulton takes his time, slowly stepping outside the ropes and dropping to the floor, picking Magnusson up and hauling him into the barricade. Stan Fulton has DH Magnusson huffing and puffing on the guardrails and the Crusher smiles, seeing the end. Stan Fulton charges toward DH, looking for a standing splash—the momentum smashes through the guardrail, laying DH out flat but causing Fulton’s head to bash against the side of a steel chair. As Fulton slowly rises, regaining his bearings, the referee throws up the ten! An unusually quick count-out!
Winner in 9:02…No Contest.
Stan Fulton looks ready to explode, but he then looks down and sees that DH Magnusson still is barely moving, his limbs contorted through the bent steel of the broken barricade. Ecosystem is standing up, applauding the Crusher for his work and bringing his title to him. The Crusher looks Eco up and down, half-smiles and takes his Intercontinental Championship. Fulton admires his handiwork, walking out through the crowd crossing over DH Magnusson’s body as medics come out and help DH to his feet to cheers.
ALEXANDER DARLING & EL LOBO SANGRIENTO vs. STANK & ECOYSTEM“Joker and the Thief” by Wolfmother plays first, as El Lobo Sangriento comes out to a huge pop. He walks down the aisle, slapping fans’ hands and waiting for his partner. He waits for his partner and is soon met by “Headstrong” by Trapt. The Onslaught Champion, Alexander Darling, emerges to an even huger pop—these men may be the two biggest faces in the OOWF right now, as they climb into the ring and await their oppnents.
Nonpoint’s “Skin” blares next, and Stank emerges from behind the curtain with the newly-captured (and we do mean captured) World Title around his ample waist. He does a mocking Batista-machine-gun set of fireworks, signaling his current means of intimidation. He storms down to the end of the ramp and waits.
PA: I know who you are..,the leader of lost souls.
Ecosystem comes through the curtain…carrying a World Championship of his own. The belt appears to be oversized and feature an even larger spinning-Eco face. Stank glares at Eco, but Eco merely smiles warmly and gestures for Stank to enter into the ring, where he comes face to face with Alexander Darling. The bell rings, and this match is ON!
Alexander Darling and Stank lock up to start, the big man forcing the Darling One into the turnbuckle post. Alexander gets his leg behind him onto the first turnbuckle for leverage, quickly climbing up backwards and hangmanning Stank on the top rope. Alexander through the ropes, and a big kick to the back of Stank. Alexander Darling tries to torque into a Mark Henry Memorial Armbar, but Stank reverses for a big man armdrag. Alexander lands hard, and Lucas Mann capitalizes by dropping down with a sharp knee to the chest. Stank pulls the Onslaught Champion’s arms behind him, contorting him into a submission maneuver. Alexander manages to work up to a standing position, throwing his legs behind him to catch Stank in the chest, then flipping forward for a modified monkey flip that lands Stank on his back. A swift kick to the back of the neck of Stank sends him flying toward the second rope, where Alexander leaps forward throwing both knees on the back of Stank.
Stank reaches out for a tag from Ecosystem, but the CEO is distracted chatting up fans and eating their popcorn and yelling “I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE! I DRINK IT UP!” Stank, aggravated, pushes off the second rope and sends Alexander flying. Short three-point dash sends a shoulder block to the bruised chest of Alexander, who smartly stumbles into the corner and takes a blind tag from El Lobo Sangriento. And here comes the big man! Stank charges with a spear attempt, but El Lobo throws him toward the turnbuckle like a bull, where he crashes into Alexander. El Lobo rolls him up from behind, gets a two count. Stank is up and pissed, nailing El Lobo with haymakers, finally knocking him down.
Stank’s off the ropes now with a clothesline charge, taking the rising wolf back down to the mat. Stank looks to pull the big man up for some kind of Dominator/Backbreaker, but El Lobo flips back, rolls through, pushes Stank into the ropes and pulls him behind for a beautiful back body drop! Stank pops up a bit too fast, more stunned than anything, but he eats a clothesline back from El Lobo, who cries out and draws an audience cheer. As the would-be champ rises again, El Lobo chopblocks Stank from underneath, pulling him up into El Crab de Boston! Stank manages to pull himself forward, toward the corner. Stank reaches out for a tag to Ecosystem…but Eco drops off the side of the ring. TYPICAL.
Stank is cursing like a sailor as he finally grabs the bottom rope, prompting release. El Lobo picks Stank up, whips him into the corner where Alexander Darling is waiting with a stiff kick to the back of Stank’s head. Alexander takes the tag as Lobo gives a lift assist—DARLING DRIVER! Right on the canvas. Ecosystem is walking back up the ramp smirking. Lobo asks for a tag back to finish the job…he scoops a dazed Stank up, BALA DE PLATA! He goes for the cover, but it’s academic: 1….2….3.
Winners in 8:22….Alexander Darling and El Lobo Sangriento!
Eco stands at the top of the ramp and shares a glance with Alexander Darling, as they raise their respective championships…and El Lobo has his hand raised by the referee.
JR: What a huge week for this young man, Lobo! First he beats the World Champion/GM, then almost makes the former champ tap before ref stoppage, and this week he finishes the job!
Nash: Yeah, but you got to give an assist to Eco here.
