OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Sicily, Italy
CC SCOTT vs. GENERALISSIMO GUIDO SARDUCCI
Generalissimo Guido Sarducci is out first, and he gets a huge ovation for the crowd. He is one of the most popular wrestlers in the Italian Alliance of Wrestling Federation. Sarducci climbs into the ring and salutes the crowd, and they all salute right back. “Stress” by Justice plays and CC Scott makes his way to the ring. He ignores the boos of the crowd and steps into the ring, and immediately charges across the ring and nearly decapitates Sarducci with a clothesline. Scott pulls Sarducci to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a big back body drop. Sarducci gets to his feet and Scott charges in and SLAMS him on the side of the head with a head butt. Sarducci grabs his ear and staggers around the ring, Scott catches him in a bear hug and pops his hips and sends the fan favorite flying with a release overhead suplex.
Sarducci hits the mat hard and slides out of the ring. Scott chases him, but Sarducci races around the ring and slides into the ring. As Scott is coming into the ring, Sarducci nails him with a leg drop to the back of the head. He pulls Scott up and sends him to the ropes and connects with a drop kick to the jaw. Sarducci climbs to the middle rope and waits for Scott to come close, then PLANTS him with a TORNADO DDT! Sarducci covers, but Scott kicks out at two. Sarducci pulls Scott to his feet and sends him to the ropes and Scott tries a clothesline, but Sarducci ducks it and catches Scott in a crucifix, but can’t turn him over! Scott shows his power by putting Sarducci on his shoulders, then DRIVES him to the mat with a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!
Scott is not quite done yet. Scott pulls Sarducci to his feet and grabs him around the waist and PLANTS him with a series of German suplex, the last one is a release German that folds Sarducci in half. The Italian favorite is out on his feet and the fans are starting to resent this. Scott pulls him to his feet and hits a spinning clothesline that nearly decapitates him. The fans are going to riot soon, so the referee says something to Scott and Scott pulls Sarducci to his feet, whips him to the ropes and hits the RUSSIAN-CANADIAN IMMIGRATION ISSUE on the rebound! He barely has the cloverleaf part in and Sarducci is tapping furiously!
WINNER in 4:04 – CC Scott
TEXPRESS vs. TBA
TBA are hopelessly overmatched jobbers, Texpress makes short work of them and finishes the match off with the Texas Death Sentence.
WINNERS in 3:33 - Texpress
CHRIS EVANS vs. MAI MUYO
PA: Who’s Gonna Fight For The Weak, Who’s Gonna Make Them Believe?
Mai Muyo is out through the curtain to the tune of “Hero,” acknowledging the fans’ cheers with a single pointer extended out, then pointing toward the sky. She quickly crosses herself, then runs down to the ring, sliding under the ropes and bouncing on the second rope anticipating her opponent. Chris Evans is out next to boos, ignoring the fans as he deliberately walks down to the stairs, slowly stepping up into the ring through the ropes. He rolls his eyes at Mai’s bouncing, stretching in the corner as the referee rings the bell.
Mai charges across the ring as Evans comes out of the corner and she SPEARS him to the mat! Mai scouts a surprised Evans as he rises, driving her knee into the side of his head and throwing elbows on both sides. The referee yells to break it up as Chris Evans pulls through the ropes, and Mai backs up. Chris Evans gets to his feet and Mai Muyo bounds off the opposite side ropes and catches him with a running clothesline upside the head that sends Chris Evans staggering into the corner. The clothesline was lower-impact, but Evans still seems surprised at the amount and nature of Mai’s offense.
Mai Muyo runs in for the Punk combo, catching Evans with a knee to the face, then grabs him and tries a bulldog out of the corner, but Chris Evans puts on the brakes and pushes forward, and Mai Muyo sails through the air and slams into the mat. Chris Evans scouts Mai as she rises, catching her with a quick boot to the gut and a neck breaker taking Mai off her feet. Evans goes for a quick cover and gets a one-count for his trouble. As Mai swings at Evans as they rise, Evans hooks her under the arm and throws her with a modified T-Bone, pulling into the cover…a two-count this time.
Mai Muyo and Chris Evans rise the middle of the ring, Evans scouting for a belly –to-belly, but Mai rocks him with a European uppercut, then whips him to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a straight punch to the jaw that drops Chris Evans to the mat. Evans smartly rolls out of the ring while Mai Muyo gestures broadly for him to return quickly. Chris Evans climbs onto the apron and Mai Muyo tries to grab him for a suplex, but Chris Evans avoids her grip and nails her with a shoulder to the gut, then springs over the top rope, catching Mai with a big shoulder block. Evans covers her, but Mai Muyo kicks out at two after an initial stunning. Chris Evans pulls Mai Muyo up and scoops him up and plants her on the mat, then bounds off the ropes and drops a leg across her chest. Chris Evans gets to his feet and waits for Mai Muyo to get up, then connects with a drop kick to the jaw that sends Mai Muyo back to the corner. On Mai’s rebound, Chris Evans tries an Eye of the Storm super kick, but Mai Muyo ducks it, puts on the brakes, and when Chris Evans turns around, Mai Muyo POPS him with one of her own! Chris Evans crumples to the mat, Mai Muyo goes for the cover, but it’s only good for a two-count, as Evans got his foot on the ropes.
As Evans attempts to get his bearings, Mai Muyo wraps her legs around Chris Evans’s neck and pulls down with her arms…Trinitarian! Trinitarian Triangle Choke. Evans is flailing…he is unable to extricate himself from the choke directly, but he’s close enough to the ropes that he lunges forward to grab the middle rope just as he begins to run out of breath. Mai breaks the hold, but swings around to take Evans off his feet with a spin kick. Mai quickly climbs up to the top rope, looking for what? A Savior Splash? Mai looks like she’s thinking out the rotation, she’s hesitating heavily—Mai goes for the dive, pulls off the rotation JUST barely, but Evans rolls out of the way! Evans pulls the stunned Mai up…Icarus Wings! This is academic: 1-2-3.
WINNER in 9:10…Chris Evans
Chris Evans rolls out of the ring, fists raised in the air with a smirk. Mai sits up inside the ring, visibly upset at the loss.
FIREWOMAN vs. PSYKLE
With Moose out of commission, we probably have a match with two of the most unpredictable and uncontrollable wrestlers in the promotion. Psykle comes to the ring, with his manager, all focus. He totally ignores the boos of the crowd, although his manager appears to be perplexed by them. Psykle paces the ring, and some cheers break through. The lights dim and then brighten and Firewoman makes her entrance, to massive cheers. The fans are happy to see her back, and some of her recent experiences. The usual group of her fans are there, but their numbers seem to have grown. She smiles a bit, and slaps some hands, and then gets in the ring. She looks up....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up.....into Psykle's eyes, and they stare for a bit. Fall River's Own Angelo Barros explains things to them, and calls for the bell.
Firewoman moves first, but she walks slowly around Psykle, circling him, looking for her entry point. Psykle follows her turning around. Fire picks up speed, and Psykle continues to turn in place. She speeds up again, as does Psykle. She plays this game for a bit until she's literally running circles around Psykle, who spins to follow her. Suddenly she comes to a stop, but Psykle keeps spinning. She hops upon on the turnbuckle to observe, as a dizzy Psykle does stop spinning, but starts staggering as he tries to control his new dizziness. She laughs, stands on the top turnbuckle, and hits a beautiful dropkick. Looks like she's back, as Psykle flies backward into the ropes, Fire rolls to the side, and drops him with a toe hold. She kips up and grabs his legs, rolling him over into the Liontamer, complete with knee to the back. But Psykle has this scouted, and though you can see the pain in his face, he pushes through and gets up on his hands, walking toward the ropes. He gets there and Barros calls for the break. Fire complies at three, and backs off. Psykle pulls himself up and slowly turns around while Fire sizes him up again, looking for weaknesses. She misses how fast Psykle can actually move, as its pretty fast. He goozles her, lifts her like a rag doll and throws her into the corner. She bounces hard against the post, and Psykle runs in with a Really Big Clothesline. Fire collapses in a heap as Psykle smiles down at her. He grabs her around the chin and hauls her up until he sits her on the top turnbuckle. It looks like he's getting started to set up the snapmare, and will put this one away early. He hooks Fire around the neck and starts to make his move, but Fire counters! She shoves Psykle forward, breaking the hold. He staggers away from the corner in surprise, and Fire falls a bit awkwardly to the canvas.
Fire gets to her feet and ducks another big clothesline, but just barely. She ducks under and knocks Psykle off his feet, into a school boy roll up. Barros counts one, two...nope, Psykle rolls through, knocking Fire off to one side. He gets to his feet quickly, and puts the boots to her. A few of them are pretty stiff too, especially the ones in her ribs. Someone has been scouting! He again reaches down to grab her around the chin and pick her up into a delayed vertical suplex, but she wriggles free...almost. Psykle is able to keep hold of her and gets her into a pile driver position. Sticklers for continuity will recall Fire has a little bit of a thing about pile drivers since her last match with Tytan. She starts to freak out a bit and Psykle is having a hard time holding on, especially once Fire gets an arm free and hits a low blow. Psykle drops her awkwardly and doubles over. Fire gets to her feet and starts to apologize, but it's too late. Barros saw it and calls for the bell.
WINNER by disqualification in 13:39 - Psykle
After the bell rings, Fire tries to plead her case, but Barros is having none of it, and sends her up the ramp. Fire looks down at Psykle, and Genius IQ who is kneeling next to him, says she's sorry, and heads to the back.
BRASS KNUCKLE KINGS & REGICIDE vs. DRINK & DESTROY & THE NIGHT MARCHERS
The Night Marchers are out first, to a decidedly mixed reaction. They climb into the ring, and Noelani smirks at the crowd as Kai and Aina pose on the turnbuckles. Drink and Destroy are out next, and there is nothing mixed about the reaction they receive. Outback Jack and Dynamite Danny Taylor make their way through the crowd, and meet Dashing Victor Deniro at ringside. Victor gives them a few last words of advice, and D&D climb into the ring, eying the Night Marchers warily.
The cheers change to boos as Regicide steps onto the stage. L.D. Williams and Tytan react about like you’d expect, ignoring the crowd and marching to the ring. The lights dim as they climb onto the apron, and the OOWF Tag Team Champions, The Brass Knuckle Kings, walk through the curtain. Eric O’Mac and Bryce Larson stroll to the ring, accompanied by Lauren Phoenix and Maria Kanellis. The Kings stop at ringside, and the ladies remove their robes. Bryce and Eric hand over their belts and climb into the ring.
Referee Angelo Barros looks around the ring for a moment, and then shakes his head and calls the ring announcer over.
RA: “In the interests of a fair match, Angelo Barros has ordered all seconds to leave the ringside area.”
The announcement is met by protest, but it quickly dies when he starts to count. DVD, Noelani, Lauren and Maria all head to the back. Barros orders both teams to pick a starter, and Williams and Aina are elected. As soon as they are the only ones in the ring, he calls for the bell.
They lock up, and Aina drops to the mat, flipping Williams over him. Williams rolls to his feet - and barely dodges a super kick from Kai. While Barros ushers Kai out of the ring, Aina blindsides Williams with a forearm. He drives Williams to the mat face-first and hammers him with punches. He wraps an arm around his throat and chokes him. Barros counts, and Aina releases at four. Aina drags Williams to his feet and sends him to the ropes. He tries a bicycle kick, but Williams grabs the ropes to stop his momentum. Aina lands running, and launches himself at Williams, who drops to the mat and pulls the ropes down. Aina manages to land on the apron, but Williams grabs his ankles and yanks, sending Aina toppling to the floor. Williams slides out as well and stomps on Aina, but he only gets a couple of shots in before Kai grabs him from behind and tosses him into the railing. Tytan drops to the floor and starts to circle the ring, but finds himself cut off by D&D. The Kings, meanwhile, remain lounging in their corner. Barros focuses on D&D - Tytan, allowing the Night Marchers to slam Williams into the railing and stuff him back into the ring. Aina tosses Williams into the corner and makes the tag to Kai.
The Night Marchers drag Williams out of the corner and drive twin chops into his stomach. Kai hooks him, and Aina springs off the ropes and flips over them, grabbing his partner on the way by and putting both their weights into a DDT. Kai rolls Williams over and hooks a leg, but Tytan stomps on him to break it up at two. While Barros forces Tytan back to his corner, Kai drags Williams to his feet and backs him to the ropes, delivering a series of kicks. He takes Williams over with a suplex and then sits him up, reaching out for the tag from OBJ.
OBJ storms across the ring and rebounds off the ropes, delivering a massive boot to Williams as Kai holds him in place. OBJ drags Williams up and sends him to the ropes. Williams ducks under a clothesline and tries to come back with a shoulder block, but OBJ catches and plants him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Williams rolls away before OBJ can cover, and drops off the apron to the floor. He tries to walk it off, but finds himself face-to-face with the Night Marchers. Before they can attack, Tytan slams into them from behind with a double clothesline. Williams continues around the ring to his corner and rolls in to tag Tytan.
Tytan meets OBJ in the middle of the ring. The stare down is broken by a massive belch from OBJ. Tytan reacts with a punch, and OBJ responds in kind. It looks like Barros might step in about the closed fists, but he changes his mind and lets them go. They battle around the ring, neither man getting an advantage, until OBJ catches a punch and slams Tytan in the face with a head butt. He follows that with a haymaker that drops the big man to the mat. OBJ goes to the ropes and drives a knee into Tytan’s head. He tries to lock on the Crocodile Hunter, but Tytan shoves him off and rolls free. Tytan gets to his feet and OBJ launches himself at him. Tytan sidesteps and pivots, slamming a fist into the back of OBJ’s head as he hits the ropes chest-first. As OBJ bounces off, Tytan hits a German suplex and bridges, but OBJ rolls a shoulder at two.
Tytan stands OBJ up and stuns him with a series of forearms. He sends OBJ to the ropes and plants him with a spinning sidewalk slam. Tytan gets to his feet and hits the ropes, and Larson makes a blind tag. Tytan hits OBJ with a leg drop, and as he rolls off Larson springs off the top rope and hits a splash. He hooks the leg, but only gets two. Tytan glares at Larson and backs to his corner. Larson sits OBJ up and drives repeated forearms into his head, and then dropkicks him in the face. He pulls OBJ into a front face lock and drags him to the corner to tag Eric. The kings hit OBJ with a tandem suplex. Larson holds OBJ in place, and Eric comes off the second rope with an elbow to the throat. He makes the cover as Larson exits, but Taylor is in to break it up.
Eric drags OBJ to his feet and shoves him into the corner. With Barros busy with Danny, Bryce pins OBJ’s arms, allowing Eric to work him over with combinations. Tytan watches this until Barros turns around, and then cuffs Eric in the back of the head, tagging himself in. Eric gets in the big man’s face, but Williams steps between them, reminding them to focus on the matter at hand. Tytan hauls OBJ out of the corner and sends him to the ropes. Gorilla press is followed by a slam. Tytan grinds his elbow into OBJ’s throat, drawing a warning and a four count from the referee. Tytan pulls OBJ up and reaches back to make the tag to Williams. Tytan doubles OBJ over with a kick, and Williams springs off the top rope - Larson slaps Williams leg as it clears the ropes - Canadian Destroyer! Larson dives onto OBJ and hooks the leg as Williams looks at him incredulously. Barros counts One…Two…Aina makes the save.
Williams recovers enough to kick Aina as he turns around. He goes for the Canadian Destroyer, but Aina grabs his legs and blocks, levering Williams into position to be blasted by Kai’s super kick. Aina uses the momentum to drive Williams to the mat. Tytan is in by this point and levels Kai with a clothesline. He scoops Aina up, but Taylor tackles him, sending all three of them to the mat. Meanwhile, Larson has OBJ on his feet. Kick to the gut. Stunner - NO! OBJ blocks the move and drops Larson with a belly-to-back suplex. OBJ crawls toward his corner - where nobody’s waiting. Danny sees him heading there and breaks free of Eric and Williams. He sprints across the ring and dives, sliding under the ropes just in time to reach in and make the tag.
Danny comes back into the ring like a house on fire. He slams into Eric with a clothesline that knocks him through the ropes, and nails Larson with a running forearm that turns him inside out. The Night Marchers take the hint and exit the ring, knocking / dragging Regicide out with them. Taylor hauls Larson up and plants him with an exploder suplex. He rolls Larson to his feet and sends him hard to the ropes. He catches him on the return trip and snaps him over with a power slam hard enough to bounce. He hooks the leg, but before Barros hits one Eric springboards off the top rope and nails a frog splash.
Eric gets to his feet and sweeps Taylor’s legs as he gets up. Eric goes to the ropes and hits a rolling thunder. As he rolls out to the apron, Larson falls on Taylor for the cover, but only gets one. Larson goes to the ropes and drives a knee into the side of Taylor’s head. He drags Taylor up and sets up a sliced bread#2, but Taylor shoves him off as he runs toward the corner. Larson hits the turnbuckles hard and stumbles back, and Taylor throws him with a release German suplex. Larson flips in the air and lands on his feet, and nails Danny with a super kick when he turns around. Larson dives to his corner and makes the tag to Williams.
Williams stalks Taylor, staying behind him as he gets up. He delivers a chop to the back of Taylor’s neck that knocks him off balance, and grabs his arm and delivers repeated elbows to his shoulder. He sends Taylor to the ropes and hooks his arm on the return trip, spinning him into a crippler cross face. Taylor struggles, but Williams has the hold cinched in tight. Barros asks, but before Taylor can answer Kai comes flying in with an elbow to break the hold. Ignoring the referee’s protests, Kai sends Williams into the corner where Aina is waiting with a forearm. He hauls Taylor up and sends him in as well, and Taylor manages to turn his charge into a shoulder block. Aina slaps him on the shoulder to tag himself in.
Aina climbs the ropes as Kai drags Williams out of the corner. Kai throws Williams up as Aina leaps - Moloka’i Cocktail! Aina hooks the leg, but Tytan is in to break it up. Tytan tosses Aina into the corner with the Kings. Kai is in and spins Tytan around, kicking him in the gut and planting him with a DDT. D&D storm across the ring, and Eric moves to stop them, but is quickly overwhelmed. Larson grabs Aina, who knocks him back with a chop. Larson goes with the momentum and rotates, hitting a discus punch. Aina sags against the ropes, and we see Larson drop brass knuckles back into his trunks. Shockingly, Barros is busy with D&D and doesn’t see a thing. Larson leapfrogs the ref and crashes into D&D, knocking them into the ropes. Eric joins him and they manage to knock OBJ and Danny out to the floor. Williams staggers to his feet and grabs Aina - Canadian Destroyer! He covers, and Barros counts One…Two… Kai lunges, but can’t get free of Tytan in time…Three.
WINNERS, in 17:36, Regicide and the Brass Knuckle Kings.
EL LOBO SANGRIENTO vs. J-P SPARXX – OOWF Onslaught Championship Match
Let it Rock hits and the crowd cheers the arrival of JP Sparxx and Jewel arrive onstage and strike a pose to cheers. The two head to the ring and JP awaits the arrival of the champ. Joker and the Thief plays and the crowd erupts for the arrival of Onslaught Champion El Lobo Sangriento. He slaps hands enters the ring, and hands the belt to the referee Junior Hale, who shows it to Sparxx before calling for the bell. We are underway.
They circle, lock up in center ring – Lobo throws a forearm shot to the head, headlock on Sparxx, transitions to a chicken wing, but Sparxx counters out, goes for a hammerlock on Lobo, who backs Sparxx into a corner. Junior calls for the break, both men start to warily separate, Lobo tries a back elbow at the same time Sparxx hits Lobo in the back of the head with a rabbit punch, and both men connect! Lobo gets out of dodge, rubbing the back of his neck, but Sparxx stays in the corner, having taken Lobo’s elbow right above the eye! Lobo looks at Sparxxs and lays down some smooth talk, ending with “If you want the title you have to beat me” Sparxx keeps his cool, takes a couple of steps out, and when Lobo sets up for the collar and elbow, Sparxx suddenly levels him with a clothesline! Lobo gets to one knee, but Sparxx is there with a low dropkick to the knee, and Lobo is down again! Sparxx is up fast, drops a knee on Lobo's
head, then spins off and grabs Lobo’s legs for a Texas cloverleaf. Before he can lock it on, Lobo kicks him off, and staggers to his feet. Sparxx closes in, Lobo hits a surprise arm drag, but hangs on to the arm and goes for a Fujiwara! Again Sparxx counters out, kicks Lobo behind the knee and looks to lock in a rear naked choke, but Lobo reach down, grabs Sparxx’s foot and trips him up, and goes for the Boston crab again Sparxx counters, kicking Lobo right in the head.
Both men up, Lobo with a European uppercut, Sparxx with a chop to the chest. Lobo grabs Sparxx behind the head and fires off two hard forearms, but Sparxx backs up only a step, grabs Lobo behind the head and drives a knee right into Lobo's ribs! Sparxx tries for a second flying knee, but Lobo waist locks him, and hit an overhead throw , Sparxx lands on his feet, grabs Lobo from behind, rushes him to the ropes and then goes for a roll-up, Lobo powers out, catches Sparxx charging back in and arm-drags the man right out of his boots! Both men are up and on guard – the crowd is eating this super quick match up.
“Lobo, Lobo"
Lobo suddenly looks at the crowd and screams “I love you Italy" drawing the cheap pop from the crowd.
“Sparxx, Sparxx”
Sparxx looks at the crowd, almost looks like he is going to acknowledge their cheers, but Jewel beats him to it jumping on the apron and giving a quick booty shake.
The crowd lets out a huge pop for this, and Junior gets Jewel of the apron drawing boos, and motions for the match to continue. Sparxx moves towards Junior telling him to keep his hands off his woman, when he is cut off by Lobo and the two grapplers go at it again where they left off! Sparxx is focusing on Lobo’s back and legs, while Lobo takes every opportunity to punish Sparxx’s neck and shoulder. It looks like both men are trying to set up for submission holds! Soon Lobo has a noticeable bruise on his legs, and is starting to slow down, moving with a limp. Sparxx shoots for a double leg takedown, but Lobo avoids it and lands an elbow smash across Sparxx’s neck, putting his full weight behind the blow! Lobo picks up Sparxx, locks in a full nelson and sets up for full nelson slam – but amazingly, Sparxx ducks down out of it, does a standing switch, and German suplexes Lobo! Both men are down, the ref has started the count. At 5, Sparxx is up and climbs the turnbuckles, going to the top rope. He takes a second too long, as Lobo is up at 7, staggers into the ropes, causing Sparxx to crotch himself on the top turnbuckle. Lobo is there before Sparxx can recover, stuns him with a hard right hand, then DDTs him off the top rope! It is pretty much academic as Lobo locks on The Boston Crab, Referee Hale checks Sparxx’s arm Once…. Twice….Sparxx’s hand stays up on the third drop! Lobo is not willing to give up, and leans his full weight into the crab, keeping Sparxx just inches from the rope. Sparxx struggles, reaches, and taps out the pain finally overtaking him. The crowd is STILL eating this up, Lobo rolls out of the ring, celebrates with the crowd and limps toward the back.
WINNER via submission in 14:44 – El Lobo Sangriento
STAN FULTON vs. JW WESTGAARD vs. DH MAGNUSSON – OOWF Intercontinental Title Match
DH Magnusson is announced first and makes his way to the ring through the crowd, to the cheers from the Drink and Destroy partisans. After enjoying a cold one with a fan in the front row, DH makes it to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope and slaps the referee on the back, causing Glaw to stumble. JW Westgaard is announced next and he makes his way to the ring to a solid show of support from older fans who appreciate the veteran’s return. JW Westgaard slaps a few hands and climbs in between the ropes, shaking Magnusson’s hand.“Crusher” by The Ramones plays over the PA system as the Intercontinental Champion Stan Fulton comes from the back to a mixed reaction. Stan Fulton takes the Intercontinental title from around his waist and slowly raises it above his head which draws a louder reaction from the crowd. Stan Fulton gets to the ring and stands in the corner with his arms folded watching JW Westgaard and Magnusson.
Since this is a triple threat match, Stan Fulton can lose the title without being pinned, something I am sure he is very aware of. The referee calls for the bell and Stan Fulton……doesn’t move. He just stands there glaring at JW Westgaard and Magnusson. Westgaard takes a few steps toward Stan Fulton and begins jawing about his personal favorite Minnesota teams. Swiftly, Magnusson grabs JW Westgaard from behind and rolls him up for a quick two count. Westgaard kicks out and Magnusson gets to his feet and nearly gets flattened by a RUNNING SPLASH from Stan Fulton! Stan Fulton hammers on Magnusson, but Westgaard pulls Stan Fulton off of him and tries for an Ace Crusher, but Stan Fulton shoves him to the ropes and lifts him on his shoulders for a big Samoan Drop attempt. Magnusson recovers and kicks the back of Stan Fulton’s knee sending him and Moreland to the mat. Magnusson pulls JW Westgaard to his feet and hits the DREAM STREET! He cinches the dragon sleeper in, but Stan Fulton gets back to his feet and watches closely, to the surprise of Magnusson expecting the charge.
Just as Westgaard is starting to fade, Stan Fulton charges across the ring and smashes Magnusson right in the face sending him to the mat! Magnusson stumbling, Stan Fulton drops an elbow across a barely conscious JW Westgaard and gets a two count. However, Westgaard has VETERAN INSTINCTS~! and gets his foot on the bottom rope just in time. Stan Fulton gets to his feet and JW Westgaard rolls out of the ring to the floor. Stan Fulton gets to one knee as Magnusson charges in and tries a knee to the side of the head, but Stan Fulton avoids it and shoves Magnusson to the ropes, DH rebounds and catches the champ with a clubbing clothesline across the chest. The big Stan Fulton pops right back up and DH goozles him and sideswipes him on his ample back. On the outside, JW Westgaard is getting back on his feet. He gets up just as DH falls across Stan Fulton and makes it back into the ring just before the referee hits the mat for the second time, catching Magnusson with a double axe-handle to the back of the head. JW Westgaard pulls Magnusson to his feet and peppers him with shots to the face, then sends him to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a power slam.
JW Westgaard doesn’t go for a pin, instead he pulls Stan Fulton to his feet and first tries to hook the big man for a suplex…failing that, Westgaard goes for the DDT. Quick one-count for Westgaard, as Fulton powers out with authority, sending J-Dub-Dub flying. A rising Magnusson pulls JW Westgaard up and shoves him into the corner, catching him with a strong knee to the gut. Magnusson places Westgaard on the top rope, but quickly steps out to LEVEL a rising Fulton with a big boot. Magnusson climbs the ropes and tries a superplex, but JW Westgaard blocks it once, twice, three times. JW Westgaard connects with several clubbing shots that sends DH over the top rope to the floor. JW Westgaard stands on the top rope and waits for Stan Fulton to get to his feet, as he does, JW Westgaard leaps, but Stan Fulton catches Westgaard with a rolling belly-to-belly, reversing momentum! Stan Fulton off the ropes with a GIANT SPLASH onto Westgaard! 1-2-DH can’t make it in time…3!
Winner in 18:11 and STILL Intercontinental Champion…Stan Fulton!
Stan Fulton rises, smirking, and takes his title from the referee and raises it overhead to a continued mixed reaction.
ALEXANDER DARLING vs. STANK vs. MATT FOLZ – OOWF World Heavyweight Title Match
As usual, your typical wrestling crowd is always up for a good 3-way. And this is no exception, as we've got one with all sorts of interplay. “Baker Street” fires up first, and this crowd has determined that Matt Folz has transformed from misguided, but talented heel to straight up, detestable douchebag at some point. It probably has to do with using brass knucks on his partner to steal a title shot. He doesn't seem to care and makes his way into the ring without further fanfare. “Skin” is next up on the docket, and Stank gets his usual mixed response. Boos from the “It's real to me dammit” folks, and respectful applause from the smarts. He just gives a quick acknowledgment wave or two before climbing into the ring. He sort of looks at Folz with disdain, but I'm guessing he's got more disdain for the next guy.
“There can be only one”
Oh, and the crowd goes batshit for YOUR World Heavyweight Champion, flanked by his sister Alexis. It's light on the pandering tonight, as the Inc...er...Darling Twins make their way down to the ring. He's got a pretty big task ahead of him tonight, with not one but 2 opponents. Alex rolls in and does a full-on display of the World Title before handing it to the referee-in-charge, Senior Referee Davis Hightower. He holds the belt high in the air. This match is for the OOWF World Heavyweight Championship. Hightower hands the belt to the outside and calls for the bell...WE'RE UNDERWAY!
Right at the bell, Folz and Stank immediately charge Alex. Interesting, because I'm pretty sure they didn't discuss that beforehand. Alex manages to duck the Double-Clothesline try, and hits a Double-Clothesline of his own, as the two men turn around simultaneously after the miss. Folz falls, and Stank is staggered, but still is still upright. Alex scoops the big man up and hits a Sidewalk Slam. Clearly, he's not interested in this match going on any longer than it has to, so he immediately covers. Folz dives in to break up the count at 1, but Stank was kicking out anyway. Folz scampers up to go after Alex, but Stank hits Folz with a Drop Toe Hold! He rolls Folz and, much like Darling, has no interest in making this match any longer than it has to be, so he covers, and that barely gets a 2-count before Alex hits a Hogan Legdrop to break it up. Pretty sweet, Alex. Alex then uses the distraction to cover Stank, but he kicks out at 2. Alex gets back to his feet to follow up, but now Folz rolls Alex up! That gets a 2-count before Stank breaks it up with a Double Axe-Handle. Stank flips Folz over and hooks the leg! THAT gets 2, but Folz is able to kick out.
Alex, whom everyone forgot about for the last couple of minutes, apparently, just blasts Stank from behind with a running straight kick to the back of the head. Stank drops, but it's Folz that covers, and he gets a solid 2-count before Alex can pull him off. Alex pulls Folz up, and hits a Release German Suplex which sends Folz across the ring. Quickly, Alex scoots over and covers. That was probably the first legit 2 count of the match; before Stank is able to scramble across the ring and save the match with a kick to Alex’s head. Alex gets heated and gets right in Stank’s face, delivering the SLAP OF DISRESPECT! Stank smirks and goes to slap Alex back, but instead, he ends up slapping Folz who was standing behind Alex, who ducked as Stank was delivering the blow. Folz spins halfway around, selling the slap hard (although it was from Stank, so it probably really hurt); and Alex uses the opportunity to hit the Schoolboy Rollup on the surprised Stank! Alex has his feet on the ropes! 1…2… and Folz barely gets in before 3 to rip Alex off of the big man. Folz goes to work on Alex, punching away at his face and then smashing the back of his head into the mat. Ah, that must be all that technical wrestling Folz is always ranting about. Hightower has to pull Folz off of Alex after a 4 count.
Folz quickly breaks free of Hightower and starts to charge and get back to Alex; but Stank rolls Folz up! That gets a pretty solid 2-count. Stank tries to get back on the attack with Folz, but Folz beats him to the punch by kipping up to his feet quickly. Folz blocks a right hand, and delivers a right of his own that smashes Stank right on the bridge of the nose and bloodies him. Stank is stunned as he tries to clear his vision. Folz kicks him in the gut, and hits an Impaler DDT! Folz covers! 1…2…NO! Alex delivered a Missile Dropkick out of freakin' nowhere to break that count and save the matchup! Alex turns to the surprised and dazed Folz, and pulls him up, and delivers a Slingshot Suplex! Alex wastes no time and heads to the top rope. He takes off for a Phoenix Splash, but instead lands on Stank's shoulders! STANK-U! Stank quickly covers! 1…2…and Folz breaks up the count by managing to pull Stank off. Folz isn’t done with Stank yet, dropping elbow after elbow after elbow on Stank’s knee. It should be noted that these are precision shots, and seem to be connecting right where Stank doesn't want them to. Stank struggles to get up, but Folz is able to lock in a Single-Leg Boston Crab! Oh, fuck you Folz, you're just taunting me now. Stank is relatively near the ropes, but Folz is really showing his technical ability and ring smarts here, as he is almost totally in the corner. Stank is a big dude, not just weight-wise but height-wise, and he is facing the center of the ring! Stank has almost nowhere to go, and looks like he’s got his hand raised! He's seriously considering tapping out before Folz gets hit with a Blockbuster out of nowhere! That not only breaks the hold, but give The Champ an opening. Alex scrambles back over to Folz. No wasted motion here, as he quickly pulls Folz up and hits another Release German Suplex! This time Alex SPRINTS over to Folz, and makes the cover…1…2…thr…Stank BARELY breaks it up, with a move that can only be described as “laid on Alex and pushed him just enough to un-pin Folz' shoulders”.
Alex wastes no time before pouncing on Stank. He starts slugging away with some Greco-Roman punches to the face. In fact, he starts going all “Ralphie from ‘A Christmas Story’” on him, complete with the string of expletives. Stank is looking pretty bloodied-up at this point, and could probably use a doctor. Well, maybe after the match. Alex pulls Stank up, and puts Stank's hand around his own throat. It's time for the Darling Driver! He gets Stank up, but before he can follow through, he gets nearly cut in half with a SPEAR by Folz. Stank falls to the mat, but it could have been much, much worse for him. Folz covers and Stank is out of position to break up the count…1…2…thrNO! Alex kicks out just in time. As Alex instinctively rolls to his stomach, Folz takes this opportunity to lock on the STF! He’s got him, and Alex is in a BAD way here. In fact, Folz has him locked in for a full minute, and Alex looks like he’s going to tap! What a way to lose the title! However, just before that happens, Stank hits a RUNNING SPLASH that breaks up the count. Ouch, that had to friggin hurt everybody. Now it’s Stank in command, as he starts focusing on Folz. He WHIPS Folz to the corner, and hits a Big Splash! Folz stumbles out, and Stank easily gets him on his shoulders. Stank hits another STANK-U! He dives for the cover..1…2…threNO! Alex just is able to move Stank off of Folz. Alex tries to follow up, but instead Stank drags Alex to his feet, and starts punching him in the nose, and now Alex’s sporting the blood too. Oh Alex, you're going to have to visit your plastic surgeon again. That sucks man. Stank is clearly pissed off and doesn’t seem to be his normal, poised self all of a sudden. In fact, with each punch, he’s talking more and more shit to Alex. Alex’s head is being absolutely ROCKED with each shot, and he looks like Alex is out on his feet. Finally, you can hear Stank say “You’re not taking it away from me this time”, and gets Alex on his shoulder. He hits yet another STANK-U! That should be it! 1…2…thrNO! NO! Folz JUST…and I mean JUST stopped the count by dragging Hightower out of the way. Smart. Stank looks up and he can’t believe it.
Stank stalks Folz, but Folz isn’t as hurt as he looks, and he also came prepared. The crowd shits all over it when they see Folz drill Stank in the gut...with a KNUCKS-ASSISTED PUNCH! You can almost hear the air leave Stank’s lungs. Folz jumps to his feet, and just clocks Stank with a Running Enziguri! Folz hits the near ropes, and drops a BIG ELBOW to the back of Stank’s head. Folz covers, and this HAS to be it. 1…2…and Alex hits a STANDING 450 SPLASH to break the count! Folz is apoplectic and he and Alex square off. Folz tries to hit the champ with the Knucks, but Alex just grabs Folz’s arm, and then puts it around his throat! Alex gets Folz up…DARLING DRIVER! Thanks for coming! Alex covers! 1….2…thrbutNO! Stank breaks it up with the ol’ reliable Double Axe Handle. Alex flies at Stank, and SPEARS him into the ropes! Alex springs up, and hits a Really Not That Bad If You Ask My Opinion Diamond Cutter! Cover! 1…2…but Folz suddenly locks Alex in the FOLZMISSION! Alex is in big trouble, and, like Stank, he’s facing away from the ropes too. Folz really has it locked in; and Alex is absolutely SCREAMING in pain, but it also seems to be keeping him from tapping too. Eventually, the screaming stops, and it goes from bad to worse for The Champ as he looks to be fading out! Alex’s got his hand up, and he’s going to tap…until Stank puts Alex’s hand on the rope! Goddamn that was smart. Hightower makes Folz break the hold, and he goes right after Stank. Stank sidesteps him, and Folz just misses smashing into the turnbuckle. Stank ROLLS HIM UP! 1….2….and Alex kills Stank with a Shining Wizard! Alex is on Stank now, who is loopy after his kick to the head. He’s got Stank up, and gets him into the corner. He gets Stank up to the top turnbuckle. He soon joins him, and puts Stank's hand around his own throat... Alex leaps, and hits a TOP-ROPE DARLING DRIVER! Holy Shit! Stank is DONE! Alex covers…1…2…thrbutNOAGAIN! Folz somehow drags Darling out of the ring!
Folz is suddenly in beast mode, and he is beating the holy hell out of poor Alex. Darling is looped, and he gets WHIPPED into the Ring Apron. Ouchies. Folz then WHIPS him into the STEEL STEPS, splaying them everywhere! Double Ouchies. Folz quickly pulls Alex up, and WHIPS him into the Dawsonvillian Announce Table! Triple Ouchies. Folz then rolls Alex onto the table. What’s he doing? Folz gets on the table, and pulls Alex up. He hooks him in, dear God no...DDT THROUGH THE TABLE! Alex may well be DEAD! Folz climbs out of the rubble and heads for the ring. He notices Stank still appear to be unconscious. Quickly, Folz is over to the cover…1…2…threNO! Stank kicked out! Folz pulls Stank up, and WHIPS him to the corner, and follows him in with a Springboard Enziguri. Folz climbs the turnbuckles behind Stank. He hits a BLOCKBUSTER! Folz wastes no time, and pulls Stank up once more. He tries for a DDT, but Stank REVERSES INTO THE STANK-U! Folz is now deceased. Stank is in no condition to cover, and Hightower doesn’t quite know what to do. Finally, Stank drags himself over to the carcass of Folz, and drapes an arm over it. 1….2….Phoenix Splash...wait...no...
DARK.
DARLING.
RISING.
from Alex CONNECTS in the nick of time! Alex is bleeding from EVERYWHERE, and looks like he used the last of his energy to pull that move off. All 3 men are down, and believe it or not, it’s actually Folz who’s up first. He surveys the scene, and decides that Alex looks worse, so he covers…1….2…but Stank pulls Folz off by the back of the head! Folz swings wildly at Stank, but Stank ducks and gets Folz up…powerbomb...Powerbomb...STANKBOMB! Stank covers, and we've GOT to have a new champ here! 1…2…threbut Alex has Stank locked in the DARLING MONEY CLIP! Alex is doing the blood-loss-shaky-thing, but Stank can’t take much more of this! Much like Alex before, he’s screaming to keep from tapping out! Alex just screams “TAP YOU SON OF A BITCH!” over and over again. Finally unable to stand anymore, Stank taps out! Which is all well and good, but by the time that happened, Folz was punching away at Alex’s face.
Folz just looks crazed, even screaming at one point “WHY DON’T YOU DIE?!?!” Alex doesn’t appear to have his wits about him, so Folz decides to cover…1…2…threNO! Stank limps over and kicks Folz in the head! Folz is PISSED! Folz charges, and is countered with a LUCHA LIBRE ARMDRAG! Fucking sweet, Stank. Awesome. Undeterred, Folz runs at Stank again, and Stank Back Body Drops Folz over the top rope. But Folz, Skins The Cat, and lets fly with a vicious right hand. Stank takes it on the chin, (if I didn't have the maturity level of a 13 year old, I wouldn't be laughing at that, but I am) but appears completely unfazed by hit, and hits a Textbook Dropkick on Folz; which sends Folz all the way into the barrier. Damn, Stank...you're busting it all out tonight. Folz' head made contact with the guardrail, and immediately a gash opens up. Stank gets to his feet, but somehow Alex rolls him up! He’s got the tights! He’s got the feet on the ropes! 1...2....and Folz, a bloody mess, breaks up the count! Folz has the knucks on again, and fires a right hand at Darling, but Alex saw it coming and dodges...and Folz connects right to Stank's temple! Stank is on dream street somewhere! By the time Folz realizes he didn't hit Darling, his own hand is around his throat! DARLING DRIVER! There's no one left to break up this count!
