OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Assinobia, Manitoba
THE DARLINGS vs. POWER & GLORYThe match starts as a pretty even back and forth wrestling match, but as the moves get more and more chippy, the match breaks down into a fight that goes in and out of the ring. Alex gets Edra up for a DARLING DRIVER, but Clio catches him with an ASIATIC SPIKE to the throat! Alex falls to the mat grabbing his throat in pain. Lexie is momentarily distracted by her brother, which allows them to hit TOTAL ELIMINATION on her and get the three count.
WINNERS in 15:55 – Power & Glory
TEXPRESS vs. HOLY SPIRIT SQUAD vs. BANNED FROM EVERYWHERE – Non-Title Tornado MatchThe action is all over the place in this one, as you would figure with six people fighting at once. Justin and Bill get several near falls using cunning and a little insanity. Stan nearly kills Justin when he catches him trying a cross body block and spins him to the mat in a BLACK HOLE SLAM! Texpress keep the action in the ring and nearly get the win after a DROPKICK DEVICE on Mai, but Bill breaks it up at two. Bill shows impressive strength by nearly getting Stan to tap to the CUYLER CLUTCH, but Chad breaks it up. The three teams all hit finishers, but the end comes when Mai avoids Justin’s charge, Justin springs to the top rope, but Mai comes right after him and hits a BACKDROP SUPLEX DRIVER from the top rope! Mai moves, and Stan comes out of nowhere with a DROPLINE and gets the three count.
WINNERS in 20:01 – Holy Spirit Squad
LD WILLIAMS vs. MATT FOLZWe get the bell and a clean lock up. They remain locked for a while and they push each other back and forth across the ring, neither man able to out leverage the other. They end up in the middle of the ring again, when Folz releases and slaps LD. Williams pops him in the jaw. Folz swings back, but LD grabs a headlock and Folz sends him off into the ropes. A shoulder block does nothing to either man, and they both hit the ropes and we get a full minute of both men criss-crossing the ring running the ropes. LD stops, and catches Folz for a hip toss. HE bends down to grab him, and Matt kicks LD in the face. Williams stumbles back and Folz pounces on him with several forearm shots. He grabs an arm bar and LD reverses it. Folz kicks LD in the gut, and hits the ropes for a stiff as hell knee lift. He pulls LD up for a dragon suplex, then hits a second one and covers for a 2 count. LD gets to his feet and ducks a punch, grabbing Folz and throwing him into the corner. LD spears Folz, doubling him over. LD lifts him for a quick power bomb into the turnbuckles. Folz gets folded in half and crumbles to the mat. LD pulls Folz up and hits a brain buster. Chris Evans walks on the stage, patting the World Title Belt slung over his shoulder. LD spots him and drags Folz to his feet, then cuts him in half with a spear. Evans laughs on the stage, and LD pulls Folz in and hits the Canadian Destroyer. LD stands up and locks eyes with Evans. The champ doesn’t flinch. Williams pulls Folz to his feet again, but this time, he sets up.. THE WAY OF THE FUTURE! LD hits the move flawlessly and covers Folz for the 1…..2…..3.
WINNER, in 6:29, LD Williams
THE KAI vs. COMRADE SHARKOFFSharkoff attacks before the bell and controls the early part of the match, keeping the Kai grounded. Sharkoff tries to wear the Kai out with a BEARHUG, the Kai’s arm drops once, twice, three……NO! The Kai fights back and frees himself from the bearhug and takes over. He hammers Sharkoff with punches and kicks and lands a perfect drop kick to Sharkoff’s jaw. Sharkoff gets to his feet and tries a clothesline, but the Kai ducks it and hits a floatover DDT, then kips up and waits for Sharkoff to get up, when he does, REEF BOTTOM! The Kai covers, and gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNER in 7:29 – The Kai
DANNY TAYLOR vs. GHOSTHEAD, RABBIT MASK & RICKY SOARING EAGLE – Handicap Non-Title MatchAnother me plays and Rabbit Mask makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. Rabbit finds this funny, even taking some time to laugh in the face of some of them. Run for the Hill plays and Ricky Soaring Eagle makes his way out also to boos. Ricky has some non family friendly hand gestures to make before entering the ring. Soaring Eagle and Rabbit Mask eye each other warily, neither trusting the other. My Ruin plays signaling the arrival of Ghosthead. The boos continue to rain down, but unlike his other teammates, the Ghosthead does not seem to even notice. He enters the ring, and both of his "allies" never take their eyes off of him. Finally Boom plays and the crowd erupts as Dynamite Danny Taylor enters the arena. Danny seems to not even realize the crowd is there, as he makes his way to the ring, alone.
The ref turns to the others to ask which of them will start the match, but the decision is made for them. Danny slides into the ring and immediately starts attacking the closest opponent, who happens to be Rabbit Mask. Ghosthead does not seem to care, but Ricky starts heading over to join the fight. The ref cuts him off and makes the other two leave as Danny continues to pound on Rabbit. As this happens Ricky is biting at the bit to get in the ring, but Ghosthead looks like he could care less. Danny whips Rabbit to the ropes and clotheslines him down, following through and landing strikes to both Ricky and Ghosthead. Ricky snaps and enters the ring, instantly being blocked by the ref. The strike however seems to have brought Ghostheads interest into the match, and he is able to enter and land a kick to Danny that knocks him down for a moment. As the ref goes to get Ghosthead out of the ring, Rabbit blasts Danny in the face with the white mist and he goes down.
What follows next is five minutes of one man being ruthlessly picked apart by three. Ricky, Rabbit and Ghosthead use quick tags and hard hitting moves to literally beat the fight out of Danny. In the end, it's a horror driver followed by a return to earth and finished off with a Headdrop #4. The three count follows and this one is mercifully over.
WINNER in 12:03 via pin fall Ghosthead, Ricky Soaring Eagle and Rabbit Mask
The match is over, but Ricky is not done delivering pain. He starts wailing away on Danny, and Rabbit Mask decides to join in as Ghosthead stands back and watches. The weekend Taylor is spent and unable to defend himself. Suddenly Victor Deniro comes rushing down the ramp, he quickly scales a turnbuckle and leaps doing a surprisingly good missile dropkick into the unaware Ghosthead sending him tumbling down. The crowd pops huge for it, however that excitement is short lived as Vic gets to his feet, Ricky Soaring Eagle nearly decapitates him with a clothesline. As Rabbit continues to beat on Danny, and angered Ghosthead locks the Phantasmagoria onto Victor.
It looks like the three on two beatdown is going to continue, when to the surprise of everyone in the arena Aisha walks out at the top of the ramp holding a chair. She calmly holds the chair out to her side with one arm as the Kai comes from the back fired up. He takes the chair from her and rushes down to the ring. Ricky is the first to see him, but it does him no good, as Kai plasters him with the chair sending him down. Rabbit sees him coming and bails out of the ring. Kai heads towards Ghosthead who releases his hold on Victor and rolls out of the ring. Ricky
is back up, but Kai coming at him with the chair causes him to bail as well. For a moment, all three look like they will make attempts to get back into the ring, when Aisha calmly walks over and slides another chair in that a recovered Victor picks up as well. Aisha and Ghosthead lock eyes with each other and they both narrow slightly. Ghosthead looks at the ring and sees that the situation has become pointless, turns and retrieves his Onslaught title and leaves. Aisha joins the others in the ring.
Ricky yells for Rabbit to join him in delivering some pain to the ones in the ring, but Rabbit just laughs him off saying it's not worth his time and leaves as well. For a moment it looks like Ricky is going to try to continue attacking anyways before storming off up the ramp as well. In the ring Danny has finally started to recover, and the first thing he sees is The Kai holding a chair. Danny takes up a defensive stance, but The Kai sees this and drops the chair. Victor quickly comes over and explains to Danny what happened. Danny looks confused for a moment, before pushing past Danny to stand eye to eye with The Kai. The crowd goes quiet not sure what is going to happen. Slowly Danny extends his hand. Kai looks at it, raises an eyebrow, and then shakes his hand drawing a huge round of cheers from the crowd. As Kai and Aisha turn to leave, Victor goes to say something to Aisha, but she simply mouths the word later. Victor and Danny stand in the ring confused for a moment before leaving as well.
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. FIREWOMAN – Best of Seven Series: Match 5“Scarecrow” plays and Moosehead Jack makes his way to the ring, booed loudly by the crowd. Moose ignores them, a permanent scowl on his face. He rolls under the bottom rope and slumps in the corner and waits for his sister to come to the ring. “Flame On” plays, and Firewoman, now decked out entirely in a black outfit, makes her way to the ring. The fans cheer her loudly, but she doesn’t seem to notice them, her focus is entirely on Moose and the ring. Fire steps between the ropes and the two siblings go nose to nose in the middle of the ring. The referee is about to call for the bell when GM Selena makes her way out to the top of the ramp.
not so fast referee dude. I want you to check both of them for weapons. This is supposed to be a WRESTLING match, not another blood bath, I don’t want either of them to try anything. Check them.Fire steps back into the corner and the referee pats her down for weapons. The whole time she never takes her gaze off of Moose. Fire is clean so the referee turns his attention to Moose. The referee asks him to raise his leg, but Moose ignores him, forcing the ref to drop to one knee and check. Moose is, surprisingly, clean. The referee motions for the bell and this one is underway!
The two meet in the middle of the ring again, and Fire mocks Moose and points to her mouth, reminding Moose that SHE wasn’t the one who got popped in the mouth by LD Williams. Moose glares at her for a minute, then PUNCHES her in the mouth! Unlike the first match, Fire does not go down, instead she grabs Moose in a double leg take down and starts hammering him with punches to the mouth.
Moose recovers quickly though and catches Fire’s arm and traps her in a GOGOLPLATA! Fire struggles, but Moose locks it on tightly. Fire tries to escape out of it, the same way Firechild taught Moose t Moose to escape it, but Moose hammers her with punches to the face that keeps her from escaping. Finally Fire reaches out and grabs the bottom rope and forces the break.
Fire slides under the ring and tries to regain her composure, Moose slips out the other side and raced around the ring and NAILS her with a clothesline that drops her to the floor. Moose grabs a handful of hair and pulls her to her feet and pins her against the apron and hammers her with chops and punches. Fire has about enough of that pretty fast and catches Moose with a knee to the gut that doubles him over. Fire slides back into the ring breaking the count, then springs over the top rope and crashes down onto Moose.
Fire pulls him to his feet and sends him into the ring and follows. As Moose gets to his feet, Fire grabs him and hits a belly to back suplex and covers, but Moose kicks out at two. Fire gets to her feet and charges at Moose, but Moose ducks and Fire crashes into the turnbuckle, as she staggers out, Moose catches her with a superkick to the jaw that sends her to the mat. Moose bounds off the ropes and drops a leg across her face, then covers, but Fire kicks out at two.
Moose pulls Fire to her feet and tries for a suplex, but Fire blocks it. The two struggle to suplex one another with Fire winning. She gets Moose up then falls against the ropes sending them both over the top rope. Fire manages to land on the apron (think Eddie Edwards, not a botch) while Moose crashes to the floor. Once Fire regains her balance, she runs down the apron and leaps, dropping an elbow across Moose’s chest. She pulls him up, shoves him into the ring post, slamming the back of his head into the steel, as he staggers forward, Fire connects with a superkick of her own, sending the back of Moose’s head into the steel again. Moose falls to the floor, but Fire gives him no rest, she pulls him up and rolls him into the ring and covers, but Moose once again kicks out at two.
Fire gets to her feet and climbs to the top rope and steadies herself on the top rope, waits for Moose to get to his feet and connects with a MISSILE DROPKICK! Fire lands hard and grabs he knee in pain, but crawls over and covers Moose, but he gets his foot on the bottom rope at two. Fire hooks his leg and covers again, but he reaches out and grabs the bottom rope at two. Fire snarls and hammer Moose in the face with several elbows, then pins his arm and covers again, but Moose kicks out at two.
Fire pulls Moose to his feet and whips him hard into the turnbuckle. Moose slams sternum first into the corner, grabs his ribs and staggers backward, Fire grabs him from behind and hits a BACKDROP SUPLEX! Fire folds Moose in half, dumping him on the back of his head. She bridges hard, but once again Moose kicks out at two. This time Moose slips under the bottom rope and staggers around ringside, holding his ribs and snarling at the fans. Inside the ring, Fire grabs the top rope and tries to leap over onto Moose again, but he moves out of the way. Fire lands on her feet on the apron, but Moose sweeps her legs from beneath her. Fire’s knee slams onto the apron and she falls to the floor holding her knee and cursing in pain.
Moose immediately pounces on Fire, driving his knee into the side of Fire’s knee, then slamming it against the concrete floor. Moose rolls into the ring to break the count, then comes right back to the outside. He pulls Fire up and whips her into the stairs and she slams knee first into the steel and falls to the floor. Moose pulls her up and rolls her into the ring and locks her in the GORILLA CLUTCH! Fire snarls in pain, and has a few choice words for the referee when he asks her if she wants to quit. Fire claws her way to the ropes, finally getting the break. Moose keeps the hold on until five though, doing all the damage he can.
Moose stalks Fire while she gets to her feet, then grabs her and PLANTS her with a CAPTURE SUPLEX! Moose is not able to cover right away because slamming to the mat with injured ribs is a poor idea, so when he does cover, Fire is able to kick out at two. Moose gets to his feet and grabs Fire’s leg and tries for a FIGURE FOUR but Fire grabs an inside cradle for another two count. Moose is to his feet first and tries a running kick to Fire’s head, but Fire avoids it and sweeps Moose’s leg, sending him right back to the mat.
Fire grabs Moose, pinning him on the mat and drives several knees into his ribs, keeping him down. Fire slowly gets vertical, barely putting weight on her knee. She grabs Mooses arms and pulls them back, FIRESTOMP! She keeps hold of Moose’s arms and rolls through into the CATTLE MUTILATION! Moose howls in pain. Fire can’t quite get the move as good as she wants because of her knee, she can’t push back as hard as she wants. Moose slips free somewhat and manages to get his foot on the ropes forcing the break.
Fire limps to her feet and catches Moose with a kick to the mouth then sets him up for the MOOSEKILLER but her knee buckles and they both fall to the mat. The referee starts the ten count and neither of them move for a bit. The ref gets to eight and Moose pulls himself up using the ropes. Fire stands too, but Moose dives at her knee and takes her to the mat, and quickly wraps her up in a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF. The referee asks Fire if she wants to quit, but she just grabs him and shoves him away and fights to the bottom rope. Moose once again keeps the hold on until the referee threatens disqualification, then breaks the hold. Fire slides out of the ring and Moose follows her and grabs her, lifts her up and hits an APRON POWERBOMB! Fire falls to the floor, and now she is grabbing her ribs.
Moose lands several stiff kicks to her ribs and pulls her up, but Fire lands a European uppercut that rocks Moose back on his heels. Fire grabs Moose and lifts him for a suplex, and drops him ribs first onto the guard rail. Moose howls in pain and falls into the crowd. Fire rolls into the ring to break the count, then goes right back to the floor. She grabs Moose from over the railing, hooks him again and lifts him, and falls back on the floor. Moose lands hard with a sickening thud, and coughs up some blood. Fire grabs her knee in pain and the referee starts counting them both out.
Fire manages to roll into the ring at eight, and just when it looks like she is going to win by countout, Moose slides under the bottom rope and beats the count. Moose remains slumped in the corner, still coughing up some blood. Fire charges – as much as she can – in and lands a knee to the face. Moose slumps to the mat and rolls to the apron. Fire steps between the ropes and pulls Moose up. Moose grins at her, blood running from his mouth. Fire hesitates for a second, then Moose spits a mouth full of blood in her face. Fire kicks him in the face, then hooks him and hits a PEDIGREE FROM THE APRON TO THE FLOOR! The crowd breaks into an appropriate HOLY SHIT chant. Fire writhes in pain grabbing her knee, falling knee first onto the cement probably wasn’t the best idea. Moose isn’t moving.
Fire manages to get to her feet and once again break the count, she pulls Moose up and rolls him under the bottom rope, then crawls into the ring and covers…..one…….two……thre……NO! How the hell did Moose kick out? Fire slams the mat in frustration, then pulls him to the middle of the ring and heads to the corner for a BEST FIRESAULT EVER! Fire leaps, but Moose gets his knees up and Fire slams down on her ribs and falls to the mat gasping for air. Moose drapes an arm across her chest, but Fire kicks out at two.
Moose struggles to his feet and pulls Fire up and tries a whip to the corner, but Fire reverses it and Moose hits hard again, he staggers forward a step, and never sees Fire flying at him. She slams her knee into his forehead, Moose’s head snaps back and it looks like he is nearly legit knocked goofy. Fire hooks him and rolls out of the corner, trapping him in a small package, the referee is right there and counts one…..two…..THREE!
WINNER in 44:11 – Firewoman – Moosehead Jack leads the Best of Seven Series 3-2
The referee raises Fire’s arm in victory while Moose looks shocked. Fire gets to her feet and stands over Moose and counts off ONE….TWO. Moose reaches into his pocket, then SLAMS Fire in the mouth with a punch. Fire goes down, and we see Moose has a chain on his fist! The referee CHECKED him! Fire recovers quickly, spitting out teeth and blood, and the Quinns TEAR into one another. The fight spills out of the ring and now the weapons come into play. Fire grabs a chair while Moose grabs HDB. Remarkably quickly they are both a bloody mess. They fight around ringside, and just as officials and wrestlers get there, they each grab a chair and COLD COCK one another. Seriously, the thud of steel on skull actually quiets the crowd, and both siblings fall to the floor out cold. Officials quickly motion to the back, and what’s that? Two rooms were already reserved for them? Good thinking.
CHRIS EVANS vs. STANK – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchEvans and Stank put on a classic. Back and forth action for over thirty minutes. Stank keeps Evans grounded and tries to work over his back while Evans tries to take out Stank’s surgically repaired knee. The tide turns when Stank calls for the STANK-U and Ski Mask Guy inexplicably runs out. He hops onto the apron and takes a swing at Evans with his lead pipe, but Evans ducks it. Stank gets in SMG’s face and wants to know what the hell he is doing. SMG seems to apologize and beg off and is about to jump off the apron when Evans lands a drop kick to the back of Stank’s head that send their heads together. SMG falls to the floor, Stank staggers around the ring and walks right into a SUPERKICK! Evans races to the corner and hits the TORONTO TWISTER! He covers Stank and gets the three count just before Stank kicks out!
WINNER in 37:39 – Chris Evans
Evans attacks Stank after the match, hammering him with punches and kicks. LD Williams races to the ring and Evans bails. Ski Mask Guy also gets into the ring and he LD and Stank argue. Before things come to blows, and likely knowing he isn’t going to win a fight against Stank AND LD Williams, Ski Mask Guy backs off and leaves the ring. The camera focuses on an angry Stank as we fade to black.
