OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Orange Walk Town, Belize
October 22, 2014
BANNED FROM EVERYWHERE vs. ALEXANDER DARLING & CHRISTIAN CARTERRoyalty is out first and make their way to the ring surrounded by security. The fans in Belize try to boo them out of the country. Alex and Christian don’t seem to mind though, they climb into the ring and have the smug look of colossal douchebags on their faces. They huddle in the corner and go over some last minute instructions while Banned From Everywhere are introduced. Justin and Bill get to the ring and step through the ropes and Alex and Carter immediately attack.
Alex and Carter DECIMATE Bill and Justin. At one point Carter repeatedly slams Bill’s face into the ring post until he is an unconscious, bloody mess. Inside the ring, Alex does all he can to break Justin’s leg. They work over a defenseless Justin Sane without mercy. The slaughter comes to an end after Carter hits the FALL FROM GRACE and then Alex turns Justin over in the MONEY CLIP! The referee immediately calls for the bell, but Alex keeps the move locked on until the OOWF locker room (well, most of it) storms the ring and chases Royalty off.
WINNERS in 5:38 – Christian Carter & Alexander Darling
EMT’s come to the ring and help Justin and Bill to the back, the crowd gives them a standing ovation.
CHRIS EVANS & ECOSYSTEM vs. MURPY’S LAW – No Disqualification Street FightThe Murphys are out first, and in old-school Attitude Era style, they’ve brought a shopping cart full of weapons down the ramp. Kendo sticks, a folding chair, fire extinguishers and the like poke out. They don’t even enter the ring, they just wait by the end of the ramp. There is a pause as the Murphys pace. Finally, the opening bars of “New Slaves (instrumental)” play over the PA system and Ecosystem makes his way out.
Crowd: “ECO SUCKS! ECO SUCKS!”
Eco: Well, it’s great to see you too, Orange Walk Town! I have to say though, I’m concerned about your uncouth language. Certainly, you may be worthy of an appearance from some bar town scraps like the Murphys. And as the founder and heart of this company, I will of course lower myself to appear before you as well. But should you really get to witness the super-athlete…the surgeon of submissions…the Lionheart…
The Murphys don’t even wait for Eco’s prolonged introduction of Chris Evans and start storming forward with kendo sticks. But suddenly, Chris Evans pops out from the crowd, grabs the folding chair from the cart, and NAILS Dee Murphy in the back with it! DK doesn’t miss a beat, however, before swinging the kendo stick right into Chris Evans’s face! The Lionheart goes down as Eco spears DK down and they roll down the ramp.
Eco and DK end up brawling around the apron, DK getting in a few good stiff shots on Eco (ooh! Ahh!) before Eco reverses a whip into the steel steps! Eco goes to the cart as Dee and Evans both rise on the stage . . . Dee begins to stomp Evans in the chest hard, Evans grabs the foot and twists, ANKLE LOCK! Eco runs up the ramp and quickly slaps a front facelock on Dee, trying to get a fast win – but Daniella Murphy BITES Eco’s hand, headbutts him off, then flips and breaks the lock with an ensiguiri to Evans’s head! What the fuck? We zoom Daniella’s eyes, and she is in full Jack of the Hinterlands mode. Elbow strike to Eco, elbow strike to Evans, second elbow strike to Eco knocks him back to DK – GERMAN SUPLEX on the steel ramp!
Eco rolls down the ramp in pain, as DK and Daniella are left with Evans atop the ramp. Evans runs to the side of the stage and the two give chase, but Evans grabs a speaker and NAILS DK in the face with it – but Daniella takes a step back rather than a step forward, BICYCLE KICK (ah heck, it’s a BROGUE KICK when she does it too) to nearly behead Evans. Daniella grabs the speaker, and SMASHES it over Evans’s back -1-2-3 times! The referee is getting nervous about this, but Evans, with some force of will, forces himself up and grabs Daniella – reverse belly-to-belly on the stage! We’re precariously close to the edge, and DK goes into sister-survival mode – hitting an uncharacteristic running dropkick that SENDS EVANS OFF THE STAGE! CHRIS EVANS GOES FLYING THROUGH THE SOUND TABLES BELOW!
We hear popping from the wires as Evans lays there in a heap – moving, but probably not getting up soon – as Eco makes his way back up the ramp with a chair. Eco stops short as he sees the carnage, and faces DK and Daniella alone – Daniella with that same look in her eyes. Faced with precisely what he expected and trained for, Eco . . . decides to cut and run. Eco runs backstage, but the two Murphys give chase and the cameras follow.
Eco jumps and climbs atop a crate, but DK gives chase up the crate as Daniella follows below. Eco swings the chair at DK, but DK grabs it and tosses it below. Eco jumps to a forklift – DK tries to jump after him, but misses, but here comes Daniella up the side of the forklift. Eco locks the doors and tries to start the ignition, but Daniella PUNCHES THROUGH THE GLASS AND PULLS ECO OUT THROUGH THE SHATTERED GLASS, throwing him EIGHT FEET to the hard ground below! Eco is flat on his back, and Daniella grabs the steel chair that DK threw. Daniella Murphy just SLAMS Eco in the head with the chair - 1-2-3-4-son-of-a-bitch-5 times! Daniella drops on top of Eco as the horrified referee counts a fast three.
Winners in 7:43…DK & Daniella Murphy!
Daniella pushes off Eco’s cut-up face, smearing blood on her arm, and stands up smiling. We cut to elsewhere in the arena - apparently in the dressing room – where the wrestlers are watching. Mai cuts out and runs, and Danny just watches the monitor intently . . . unsure.
TYTAN & FIREWOMAN vs. RORY ALBRIGHT & JOSE REYNAJose Reyna is out first, making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. He revels in the reaction and taunts the fans, climbing into the ring and posing. OOWF Onslaught Champion Rory Albright is out next, accompanied by Carrie Weiss. They climb into the ring and Albright holds his championship high before handing it to Carrie, who heads to the floor. He shakes hands with Reyna, then runs the ropes to warm up. Tytan is their first opponent out, and drinks in the cheers of the crowd. He reaches ringside and pauses in front of a group of fans wearing Regicide gear, of all things. He stares at them with a quizzical look on his face, but turns away as Firewoman makes her entrance. Fire reaches ringside and they exchange a look, a nod, and slide into the ring. Referee Angelo Barros steps between the teams, gives them their instructions, and calls for the bell.
As soon as the bell rings Reyna launches himself at Tytan, hitting the big man in the shoulder with a dropkick. Tytan staggers, and Reyna goes to the ropes. He leaps - and Tytan grabs him out of the air and throws him hard into the turnbuckles. Reyna bounces out, right into a clothesline. Tytan pulls Reyna to his feet, but Reyna hits a low blow on the way up. Tytan doubles over, and Reyna hits the ropes behind him and plants him with a bulldog. Reyna rolls to his corner and makes the tag before dropping of the apron and taking a walk to clear his head. Albright steps through the ropes and drops an elbow into Tytan’s forehead. He follows it with a second one, then pulls the big man to his feet. Tytan pushes him away, but Albright drives the point of his elbow right between his eyes. Tytan staggers, and Albright sends him into the corner. Albright lunges at Fire, drawing Barros’ attention, which allows Reyna to wrap the tag rope around Tytan’s neck. Albright argues with the ref to keep him distracted, and by the time he turns around, Reyna is dropping off the apron, snapping the rope tight around Tytan’s throat before releasing him. Tytan staggers, and Albright hits him hard with a running knee. Albright snaps Tytan over and goes to the ropes, but Fire low bridges him. Barros sees it and admonishes her, and Fire shrugs and drops of the apron, landing a double stomp to Albright’s chest. She drags Albright up and stuffs him into the ring. With both men down, Barros starts to count, but they are both moving by two. Tytan reaches his corner first and makes the tag.
Fire darts across the ring and grabs Albright’s arm, but he reaches out with the other and makes the tag. Reyna vaults over the ropes to land in front of Fire, who pokes him in the eye. She hops onto Reyna’s shoulder and takes him over with a headscissors. Reyna rolls through the landing back to his feet, and Fire dropkicks him in the back knocking him into the ropes. She lunges at him, but Reyna rolls along the ropes out of the way. He grabs Fire and hits a Russian legsweep, rolls them through to their feet, turns, and plants her with a rock bottom. Reyna covers, but Fire rolls a shoulder at two. Reyna springs to his feet and stomps on Fire, the grabs her legs, turns. and catapults her into the corner - where Albright has conveniently removed the turnbuckle pad. Fire’s head slams into the metal and she collapses, blood already visible. Reyna keeps Barros occupied while Albright sets the pad in place, then makes the tag.
Reyna hauls Fire up and snaps her over with a suplex, dropping her spine first across Albrights knee. Albright holds her in the backbreaker, applying pressure. Barros checks, but Fire’s not about to give up. Tytan storms across the ring and levels Albright with a big boot. Tytan lifts Albright for a powerbomb, but Reyna springs off the top rope and slams into his partner, causing them both to land on the collapsing Tytan. Rena rolls under the ropes to the floor, grabbing Fire and dragging her with him. As Barros tries to get Tytan up and out of the ring, Reyna runs Fire’s head into the ringpost. Fire blocks and connects with a mule kick that causes Reyna’s eyes to roll into his head. Fire grabs Reyna and bounces his head off the steel, then enjoys the sound so much that she does it several more times. Reyna, bleeding now as well, sags to his knees and Fire rolls back into the ring.
Albright grabs Fire as she gets up, pulling her back into a sleeper hold. She drives an elbow into his gut before he can lock it in, then turns, grabs his head, and drops into a jaw jacker. Albright staggers back, and Fire explodes off the mat to take him down with a clothesline. The impact jars her ribs - which weren’t done any favors by the backbreaker - and it takes her a second to get back to her feet. She tries to roll Albright over for a Fire stomp, but he rolls through and yanks her off-balance. Albright flips Fire to the mat and rolls her onto her stomach. He plants a knee in her spine and grabs her arms, pulling them back. Barros checks, but Fire shakes her head. Tytan starts in to help, but Barros sees him and cuts him off. Reyna, still a little loopy, takes advantage of the opportunity and springs off the top rope to land a legdrop across the back of Fire’s head. Barros sees that and ushers Reyna out of the ring, which allows Tytan to come in and club Albright to the mat. Barros turns around as Tytan leaves the ring. He sees Fire and Albright on the mat and starts a count. Fire starts moving at three and crawls toward her corner. Tytan reaches out for the tag, but Albright grabs Fire’s ankle and drags her back. He hauls Fire to her feet and spins her around - and Fire drives a chop into his throat. Albright staggers, and Fire grabs his head and drops, nailing a codebreaker! She rolls over and lunges - and makes the tag!
Tytan storms into the ring and tackles Albright as he gets up. They roll across the mat and Tytan ends up on top, raining down punches. Reyna flies in, but Tytan moves and he lands on Albright. Tytan grabs Reyna and hauls him up for a powerbomb. Albright tries to grab him, but Fire is in and stomps him, allowing Tytan to drill Reyna into the mat. The crowd’s cheers suddenly turn to boos as Christian Carter, Alexander Darling and Alexis Darling burst through the curtain and rush the ring. Before they get there the Regicide fans vault the railing and cut them off. The hoods come off and it’s Stank, L.D. Williams, and Mai Muyo! Security is quickly out and is unable to separate them, but manages to guide the brawl toward the back. Reyna takes advantage of the distraction and hits Tytan with a low blow, then nails him with a lungblower. Fire grabs him as he gets to his feet and sets him up for a suplex, but Albright clubs her across the back and joins Reyna to take her down with a tandem suplex. As Albright kicks Fire off the apron, Reyna goes to the ropes and nails Tytan with a running knee. Reyna mounts Tytan and hammers him with punches, rolling out of the way as Albright comes off the top and lands the Apollo! Reyna rolls under the ropes as Barros counts One...Two...Thr - Tytan kicks out!
Tytan lunges to his feet and blocks a punch from Albright. Albright tries a knee, which is also blocked, then resorts to an eyerake to take control. He slings Tytan into the corner, where Reyna has slipped the turnbuckle cover off again. Tytan hits hard, and Albright slams into him with a stinger splash, making the tag at the same time. Reyna jumps to the top rope and leaps, grabbing Tytan’s head and spiking him with a bulldog. Reyna rolls Tytan over and covers, but Fire sprints across the ring and dives on him to break it up. She rolls Reyna onto his stomach, grabs his arms - Firestomp! Albright is back in and grabs Fire. He spins her around and sets her up for a suplex, but Fire shoves him off. She hits a superkick when he moves back in, then dropkicks him into the corner, where his head slams into the exposed turnbuckle. He bounces off and sags against the ropes, and Fire takes him over to the floor with a diving clothesline. Reyna is up and grabs Tytan. He hits an Irish whip, but Tytan reverses and drills him with a powerslam. Tytan bounces to his feet and goes to the ropes. He levels a rising Reyna with a clothesline, then continues on to the opposite ropes and does it again. The adrenaline runs out and Tytan staggers, holding his head. Reyna gets slowly to his feet and measures him, then nails a superkick. Reyna goes to the corner and climbs, but Tytan hits him in the back with a forearm. Tytan hauls Reyna onto his shoulders - Wrath of God! Tytan makes the cover and Barros counts One...Two...Albright makes it to the apron, but Fire drags him back off...Three.
WINNERS, in 24:38, Firewoman and Tytan.
MATT FOLZ vs. GHOSTHEAD vs. DANNY TAYLORBattle without Honor or Humanity brings out Matt Folz to a surprising amount of cheers. Folz is still angry and just storms to the ring. Click Click Boom brings out Danny Taylor, still the faciest face that ever faced, and he slaps hands around the ring with the fans before climbing into the ring and looking at Folz. Danny shakes his head and thumps his heart. Folz nods his head and shakes hands with Danny as Divide the Hate by SubMersed plays and the arena fills with fog for the entrance of Ghosthead. Danny and Folz look at one another and smile. Ghosthead enters the ring and both Folz and Danny shake his hand. That's the last bit of civility as both Danny and Folz team up against Ghosthead. A flurry of forearms and fists slow down the Death Knell, when Folz pulls up Ghosthead and throws him into the corner, and Danny dives in with a big splash. Folz hits the ropes and drops a knee across the back of the fallen Ghosthead. Folz and Danny nod at each other, then pick up and throw Ghosthead into the ropes and follow him in with a double clothesline that sends Ghosthead flying. Taylor turns smiling to Folz but Folz hits Taylor with a hard elbow to the face. Several stiff European forearms by Folz rock Taylor. Folz is getting ready to lock in the Folzmission when that shitty Lordes song kicks in and out comes Alexis Darling dragging Jamie Folz by the hair. In one hand Alexis has a pair of scissors and is cutting away at Jamie's locks. Folz sees this and tries to stay away but dammit, it's his wife. So he heads up the ramp and Alexis drags Jamie backstage. Matt follows backstage but of course it's a setup and various members of Royalty take their turns beating down Matt Folz. Meanwhile back in the ring Danny Taylor looks at the Jumbotron showing the backstage beatdown and considers joining the fray but here comes Ghosthead rocking him from behind. Ghosthead clotheslines Taylor before hitting the ropes for Eidolon! Ghosthead covers Danny but only gets a one count. Ghosthead pursued the attack hitting a powerslam off the ropes. Ghosthead goes to follow up with a clothesline but Taylor ducks and comes up with a massive superkick that sends Ghosthead reeling. Taylor hits a T-Bone suplex and is about to lock in the TNT....
...when “New Slaves (Instrumental)” hits and out comes Ecosystem, carrying a small bag.
“Ahhh, Danny Taylor, thinking about helping the man who was beating him up just moments before, now on the attack and on his way to win his match. Tell me, Danny, do you like dogs? Puppies? Perhaps one puppy in particular?”
Ecosystem reaches into the bag and pulls out what appears to be Shotglass. Taylor is furious and begins to head out of the ring but Ghosthead is back up with a running knee to the back of Taylor. Ghosthead pulls Taylor up for a Belly to back suplex before locking in Phantasmagoria! Taylor is in the middle of the ring and has no chance to get to the ropes so he wisely taps.
Winner in 22:15 – Ghosthead
Ecosystem takes the dog and...dropkicks it toward the ring? It's a freaking Stuffed Dog!
“Once more, Danny, your heart betrays you. You learn that Hope. Is. Dead.”
Ecosystem walks behind the curtains as Ghosthead sneers at the General Manager and steps out of the ring, leaving behind a woozy but angry Danny Taylor.
SAINTS OF SINNERS vs. THE WILD BUNCH & SPIDER MCNULTYGrueling, bloody match that borders on out of control for the entire match. Everyone sheds blood. The end comes when Spider has Fulton trapped in the SPIDER’S WEB (Keylock) but Moose slides into the ring with a chair and SLAMS it down on Spider’s head, knocking him out cold. Fulton covers, the referee never saw a thing, and Wilder is just a fraction of a second too late to make the save.
WINNERS in 45:44 – Saints of Sinners
MAI MUYO vs. ALEXIS DARLING – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchThe shittiest theme song in the history of the OOWF "Royals" (and as an aside, why did a group of supposed badasses choose a theme song by a 17 year old New Zealand chick anyway?) begins to play and Alexis Darling makes her way to the ring with Jaime Folz reluctantly leading her. The crowd boos even louder as Alexis demands that Jaime hold the ropes open for her. As Alexis orders Jaime to go back down to the floor the camera picks up her saying "Do what I tell you or the contract is null and void." The crowd does a complete 180 as "Hero" begins to play and OOWF Intercontinental Champion and the woman who should have been Face of the Year Mai Muyo makes her way out to a huge ovation. Mai looks determined as ever as she hands her Championship to the referee, who holds it in the air and then calls for the bell.
Mai flashes a quick smile to Jaime on the outside, but that moment of hesitation costs her as Alexis attacks her from behind and hits a belly to back suplex. Alexis kicks Mai hard in the face before whipping her into the corner and following up with a running knee to the gut. Alexis nails Mai with hard chops, causing Mai to slump into the corner where Alexis stomps her hard. Alexis turns to taunt the crowd which allows Mai to get to her feet and explode out of the corner, leveling Alexis with a lariat. Mai takes over on offense, hitting a quick snap suplex followed by a Tiger Suplex that gets a close 2 count. Mai pays homage to her former training partner by hitting a head and arm Folzplex as Jaime can't help but smile watching. Mai plants Alexis with a Backdrop Driver and then springs off the ropes and hits a shining wizard. Mai goes for a flying forearm but Alexis 'accidently' pulls the referee into the way. Mai picks Alexis up but Alexis hits a low blow. Alexis hits a beautiful butterfly suplex and then picks Mai up for a powerbomb. Unfortunately she forgot that there are 4 constants in life: Death, Taxes, that Lambeau Field is the greatest place in the world to go watch a football game, and of course: YOU CAN'T POWERBOMB MAI MUYO! Mai drives Alexis face first into the mat, drags her into the middle of the ring and heads up top. Mai looks for the Savior Splash but all of the sudden Jaime pushes Mai off the top rope.
Russ: What in the HELL??!!
Razz: This must have been Alexis's plan all along, remember Jaime is still under contract to Royalty.
Russ: Of all the dirty tricks, forcing that poor woman to attack her best friend. Damn them
As Mai gets to her feet and turns to look at Jaime curiously, Alexis comes up from behind and turns Mai into the BITCH KILLER. Alexis then motions to Jaime to grab a chair and slide it into the ring. Jaime reluctantly does so and turns her back, not wanting to watch this, but Alexis motions her into the ring. Alexis holds Mai up and motions Jaime to hit her with the chair. Jaime has tears in her eyes, pleading with Alexis not to make her do this, but we hear Alexis tell her "You work for us, do it now bitch"
Russ: This is sickening, enough is enough. Don't make her do this, Dammit.
Razz: Royalty's really going too far here.
Jaime reluctantly swings and nails Mai with the chair while Alexis laughs with a sick glee. Alexis kicks the chair out of the ring and orders Jaime back down to the floor as the referee stirs. To add insult to injury, Alexis covers Mai with one finger as the referee counts...1, 2, 3.
Winner by pinfall in 8:45 and NEW OOWF Intercontinental Champion: Alexis Darling.
Alexis holds up her tainted Championship over her head as the boos rain down on her. Christian Carter comes out to help his Queen celebrate, then the two of them slide back into the ring and start beating on Mai some more. They have Mai set up for a Spike Piledriver onto the belt, when the crowd roars as Matt Folz sprints into the ring. Alexis and Carter quickly slide out of harm's way. Matt helps his friend up and then glares daggers through Carter, motioning him into the ring. Carter, Alexis and a reluctant Jaime back up the ramp as we Fade to Black.
