OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Springfield, Tennessee
THE AMNESIAC vs. THE DEADTHE Amnesiac hits the ring first, threatening to backhand the fans along the ramp and whipping sweat onto them as they boo him. He hits the second turnbuckle, screaming at them as Alice In Chains gives way the Smashing Pumpkins...
And with the sound of a needle scratching Alice In Chains gives way the Dead Or Alive's "Right Round"! Mark Vander leaps through the entranceway, soaking in the....well, the confusion of the crowd. He jogs down the ramp, slapping the hands of the fans as he goes, several of them not even noticing as he does so. Vander vaults into the ring over the top rope and quickly runs up the nearest turnbuckles, standing on the top rope and basking in the cheers that only he can hear. The Amnesiac -who has been gesturing wildly while talking to an equally confused Sterling Glaw- sees a quick opportunity and takes it, spring boarding off the second rope with a double-jump top rope inverted hurricanrana! Vander hits the mat like a sack of oatmeal, and Glaw comes around enough to call for the bell just as the masked man picks up the unmoving Vander. He signals for it, he hits it...TOTAL AMNESIA! A quick cover, with a handful of tights and the other hand on the ropes for leverage:

FIREWOMAN vs. CONCRETE TGThis is going to be an interesting match here as resident hero and one of the faces of the OOWF roster, Takaken Gryfon is set to take on the woman who was supposed to team up with him last week, but walked out in the middle of the match; Firewoman. Coming down to the ring first to the accompanying music of “Firewoman” by The Cult is Firewoman and Run DEA manager, Alexis Darling. The fans are sure giving Firewoman the business as she walks down the aisle, but she’s focused on the ring and ignoring the catcalls. She makes it into the ring just as Joe Satriani’s “With Jupiter in Mind” begins to play and Concrete TG slowly makes his way down to the ring. Just as he does his normal walk up the steps and hop into the ring, Firewoman doesn’t let the pyro hit and attacks from behind. Junior Hale gets Alexis out of the ring and calls for the bell.
FW really starts going after Crete as he rips CTG’s jacket off and starts choking him with it until Hale has to come pull Fire off. FW pushes past Junior and is right back on the attack with a quick succession of boots and punches but as each punch or kick lands CTG is starting to CRETE UP and after the third attempted punch in a row, Gryfon starts blocking and firing away himself. CTG has Firewoman reeling as he pushes the advantage and Fire into the corner. He jumps up on the turnbuckle and starts firing rights into FW’s temple and he gets the crowd to start counting. After hitting 10, Firewoman staggers out of the corner and Concrete TG follows up with the HEROE’S TAUNT to Firewoman’s backside.
Firewoman is embarrassed and rolls out of the ring where she is met by Alexis. The two go over some strategy as Crete rolls out of the ring on the other side and starts chasing them. Alexis gets in Crete’s way and delays him for a moment and allows Firewoman to roll back into the ring. Crete has to physically pick Alexis up and place her out of the way, but it winds up being a mistake as Alexis grabs a hold of Crete’s leg as he slides into the ring and the distraction allows Firewoman to connect with a low dropkick right to the side of CTG’s skull.
Fire has the momentum know as she drags CTG to the center of the ring and gets him up to his feet before executing a perfect snap suplex and FW doesn’t let go. She rolls herself and Crete over before executing a second and then a third snap suplex. Firewoman makes the cover…
1…
2…
And no, CTG is able to kick out.
Fire stays on the offensive as she keeps CTG on the mat with a few well-placed kicks before climbing the turnbuckles. FW turns to face the ring and jumps off and connects with a beautiful somersault leg drop. Fire wastes no time and quickly crawls over to make the cover…
1…
2…
And Crete is barely able to roll a shoulder.
FW is getting frustrated as she slams the mat. She looks to the outside and seems to be getting some more advice from Alexis. Firewoman nods and just as she’s about to turn around, Crete was able to sneak up behind and roll FW up but only gets a 2 count. Crete is back on the attack and FW is begging off but snaps out of the corner with a jumping front kick. Crete’s too quick and catches it and then ducks under FW’s attempt at an enzuriguri. Firewoman is down on her stomach and CTG quickly gets on the attack as he rocks Firewoman back into a surfboard. That’s got to be painful on the knees and calf of Fire. CTG finally has to let go and FW slams face first into the mat. Crete’s on the attack now and she drags Firewoman up by her hair and picks her up and slams her down with a Doctor Bomb. Crete goes for the cover…
1…
2…
And Firewoman’s foot is on the bottom rope and Alexis is looking all too smug on the outside.
Crete starts arguing with Darling and doesn’t notice Firewoman coming up from behind and definitely doesn’t notice the LUNG BLOWER until it’s too late. Crete is in trouble and Firewoman looks to the corner…
BEST…
FIRESAULT…
EVER…
But CTG gets the knees up and Firewoman crashes hard. The impact takes a little out of Crete as well and both wrestlers are slow to get to their feet but when they do they start slugging it out in the center of the ring. Crete gets the advantage and whips FW towards the ropes and CTG with the leapfrog, but FW stops in her tracks and goes for the Code Breaker. Concrete blocks it and out of nowhere she gets behind Firewoman and picks her up before nailing the CEMENT MIXER. Crete gets down and makes the cover…
1…
2…
And Alexis Darling pulls Junior Hale out of the ring.
They start arguing on the outside and Crete makes his way over to make some disparaging comments about Alexis from the ring. Behind all their backs Alexander Darling is rushing to the ring and he slides a sledgehammer into the ring for Firewoman. She nods as she picks it up and waits for Crete to turn back around. And just as CTG turns around, FW charges with the sledgehammer but somehow, Crete miraculously ducks out of the way and gives a kick to the back of FW’s knee. Fire loses her grasp on the sledgehammer for a moment and Crete goes to grab it and they start struggling for it. Gryfon lets go and Fire staggers back and CTG connects with a drop kick to Fire’s knee causing her to drop the sledgehammer. Crete shrugs and plants it right between FW’s eyes. He slides the sledgehammer out of the ring and drops down to make the cover just as Hale gets back in the ring…

3.
And “Concrete” Takaken Gryfon pulls off the victory here and he jumps up on the turnbuckle to soak in the cheers of the crowd as he puts his cape on. Meanwhile the Darlings are trying to revive Firewoman and as they do so, she looks like she wants to kill Crete. Alexis passes her something and she nods and walks up behind Crete waiting for him to get off the turnbuckle. Crete jumps off and turns around right into a FIREBALL from Firewoman, but Crete is able to turn the cape to block the fire and it extinguishes without any damage. A quick wave and Concrete hops over the ropes to the floor leaving a visibly pissed off Firewoman staring daggers down the aisle.
WINNER in 18:11…”Concrete” Takaken Gryfon.
OOWF Invitational Tag Team Tournament 2008 Round 2The Four Horsemen Bracket Finals:
IHOP vs. GAELIC STORMDamon Wrath and the OOWF Onslaught Champion Seamus McNasty make their way to the ring to the cheers of the fans. Who knew that Springfield, Tennessee had a large Irish population? They climb into the ring and it appears that Wrath will start things for the Storm. IHOP is announced, and they come to the top of the ramp with Fezzik, The Amnesiac, and, as always, the Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth, who is wearing a large overcoat. Hmm, I am sure that won’t come into play at some point. They are about to head to the ring when SYB shoots Dorothy a look and gives her a wink. The Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth looks like she has to fight back losing her lunch right there. The group of International superstars make their way to the ring and Skurge steps between the ropes and walks up to Wrath, it appears that he will be starting things for IHOP. Skurge and Wrath slowly circle and lock up, Wrath slips behind Skurge and takes him to the mat and immediately starts hammering him with forearms to the back of the head. Skurge tries to cover up, but several of Wrath’s shots land and stun Skurge. Wrath hooks Skurge and rolls him over and covers, but SYB is in and breaks it up with a kick to the back of the head before there is even a one count. Wrath jumps to his feet and grabs SYB by the throat and throws him back into the corner. Skurge gets to his feet behind the enraged Wrath and nails him with an enzuguri that sends him to the mat face first. Skurge hits the ropes and connects with a low drop kick to Wrath’s face, then reaches back and tags in SYB. SYB comes in and puts Wrath in a camel clutch, and Skurge lands a stiff kick to the face before he leaves the ring. SYB pulls Wrath to his feet and whips him to the corner and charges in, but Wrath gets a boot up that catches SYB right in the face, staggering him. Wrath grabs him and hits a side suplex that folds SYB in half. Wrath reaches out and tags in Seamus, McNasty comes into the ring and charges across the ring and nails Skurge with a forearm to the face sending him off the apron, then waits for SYB to get to his feet and drives him to the mat with a bulldog. Seamus slips out of the ring and pulls SYB out, leaving his head hanging off the apron, then climbs back onto the apron and drops an elbow across his throat that sends SYB into spasms back inside the ring. Seamus covers, but SYB rolls his shoulders at two. Seamus pulls SYB to his feet and tags in Wrath. Seamus holds SYB and Wrath gets a running start and kicks SYB’s face into the 20th row! Well, ok not really, but he kicked him REALLY hard. SYB’s eyes roll into the back of his head and he staggers a bit, so Wrath hot shots him on the top rope, SYB falls to the mat, then rolls out of the ring and falls to the floor like a sack of potatoes. The Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth runs over to SYB and helps him to his feet, but he is dead weight. Fezzik walks over and pulls him up by the back of his pants. SYB is on his feet, but he has had enough. He waves the match off and starts up the ramp, but The Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth runs after him and grabs him and spins him around and begs him to get back into the ring. SYB initially refuses, so the Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth gets a disgusted look on her face and flashes SYB. It is then that we see she is wearing the Princess Lea Slave outfit. SYB’s eyes go wide and it appears that he salivates a bit. Meanwhile, Wrath leans between the ropes and yells for them to get back into the ring. He yells right in Fezzik’s ear, which seems to annoy him, so he turns around and BLASTS Wrath with a massive right. Wrath falls into the ring, dazed. SYB, meanwhile, gets enough of an eyeful and sprints back to the ring. He slides under the ropes and gets to his feet, and waits for Wrath to get up, then BLASTS an already dazed Wrath with the HEBEW HAMMER! SYB falls on Wrath and covers, Skurge comes into the ring to block Seamus, and IHOP gets the upset one, two, three!

The Steiner Brothers Bracket Finals:
DRINK & DESTROY vs. TYSON KINCAID & OUTBACK JACKMel Creech is YOUR referee!
OBJ and Kincaid out first, Jack slapping hands and Kincaid just looking around. D&D's music hits and the crowd cheers, knowing that this match will be a wild one! Kincaid climbs out of the ring before Jack can even ask. Stank and Caps talk a moment and Stank steps up to open. The two shake hands, which gets a few boos from the crowd, but when the bell rings that bit of hospitality is forgotten. We are UNDERWAY!
Stank and OBJ circle a bit, both of them grinning a bit as they step in to lock up. The two struggle and OBJ backs Stank into the corner. Mel counts to about 3 and the two break clean. Stank "playfully" shoves OBJ, who nods and backs up again, gesturing for Stank to follow. They lock up again, this time Stank getting the advantage. Stank pushes OBJ to the corner and again Mel calls for the break. Stank backs off, nodding and grinning. OBJ "playfully" shoves Stank back, and the two meet again in the middle. Mel at this point is sitting at ringside and drinking a beer. FFC walks over and hands Mel $20 and asks him to go get them all some. Mel waves down the beer guy as Stank and OBJ lock up a third time, this time Stank getting OBJ in a headlock. He shoves OBJ at the ropes and shoulder blocks him down on the rebound. The two run the ropes a bit but Kincaid blind-tags himself in. OBJ hesitates, stunned. Stank charges, unaware of the tag and clotheslines OBJ to the floor. He taunts OBJ a bit when Kincaid sucker punches him! Oh, it's ON now! Stank hauls Kincaid over the ropes and slams him in the middle of the ring, then punctuates his point with several angry stomps! He marches over to tag Caps in, who hands him a beer as the two trade spots. Mel climbs into the ring and we can see OBJ nursing his bruised pride (and dry throat) with a beer of his own. Kincaid sees this and demands a mic:
"I can't BELIEVE you guys! You're not taking this match seriously! You were bitching about me not being dedicated to this business but you're sitting here DRINKING while there's tag titles at stake? You make me sick! I could just stand here, let you get drunk, and pin any of you three and win this match!"
FFC snatches the mic:
"you don't want serious, kid, you can't handle it!"
Capslock then turns his back on Kincaid, infuriating the rookie! He charges Capslock and gets a double forearm in on him and SPILLS HIS BEER! The crowd hushes, knowing that's a MAJOR no-no to tag team called "Drink and Destroy". Mel backs up, shaking his head at Kincaid as OBJ sneaks in the ring and gathers the mic, belching loudly into it.
"That's Australian for 'you just MADE this a fight', mate.
OBJ rolls out of the ring as Kincaid is PLOWED by Capslock! He hauls Kincaid off the mat and slams him in the direction of the D&D corner, tagging in Stank. FFC says some choice words to OBJ, whose expression darkens. Stank climbs in and stomps the rookie a few times as well. Kincaid tries to crawl away but Stank has him by a boot. He rolls Kincaid over and kicks him a few times in the hamstring, "Missing" once. Kincaid howls in pain while Mel admonishes Stank. He covers Kincaid, getting a 2 count. Stank hauls Kincaid off the mat and deliberately slings Kincaid into the corner. This clears some cobwebs and he charges Stank. Punches are thrown, one connecting to Stank to stun him. Kincaid then attempts to pick up the big man, but after a few tries can't quite get him off the ground. Stank back-elbows Kincaid after a few tries and shoves him against the ropes. Kincaid bounces off land surprises Stank with a leg lariat! Stank hits the mat hard and Kincaid crawls for the ropes. OBJ is hesitant but tags in, dropping on Stank and laying in a few punches of his own. Stank comes around and the two are brawling hard at this point. OBJ finally gets a good shot and puts Stank to the mat again. He sees Kincaid on the top rope out of the corner of his eye and tags Kincaid in, who lands a gorgeous moonsault on the big man. Cover gets a 2 count. Kincaid is back to his feet and arguing with Mel, suspecting that he was counting slow. Stank is getting his feet as he hears Mel say something to Kincaid about spilling the beer, smirks, and crawls to the corner to tag in Capslock. Kincaid hears the tag (and Mel counts it "Sight unseen") and Kincaid is once again run over by the bigger Caps! OBJ climbs in the ring now to go after Caps but is cut off by Stank. Suddenly Mel has too many people in the ring! He backs toward the announce table side but doesn't ask for the bell- in fact, he climbs out of the ring for another beer so he can enjoy the wild brawl going on in the ring! Crowd is going bonkers at this point because THIS is what they were expecting out of this match!
OBJ backs Stank to the ropes, the BOOMERANGS HIM CLEAR OUT OF THE RING! Crowd erupts in a "Holy Shit!" chant as the two of them brawl on the floor. Kincaid and Caps (the legal men) are still going at it in the ring, Kincaid actually gaining some ground. FFC gets frustrated and slings Kincaid, HARD, to a corner. Kincaid hits the ropes running and hits the THIN AIR Finisher! Mel slips in the ring, 1, 2, NO! Kincaid is LIVID and accuses Mel of not doing his job. Mel scolds the kid and tells him to "hit something else on the guy already!" Kincaid's jaw drops, then he's grabbed by Caps and PILEDRIVEN to the mat. Mel prepares to count but Caps says no. He points to the corner and the crowd gets louder! Up goes the big man! SPIRIT OF PACIFIC HEIGHTS! Kincaid is DEAD and Stank and OBJ both missed it since they're STILL Brawling on the floor! 1, 2, 3!!!!
WINNERS in 12:34 Drink and Destroy
After the match, OBJ gets decked by accident when he pauses at the sound of D&D's music playing. He gets up, shakes Stank's hand, and tells em they'll be getting drinks afterwards. OBJ leaves with Stank and FFC, while Kincaid is being checked on by EMTs.
The Legion of Doom Bracket Finals:
THE CHICKENSHIT HEELS vs. KZJohnny carries his trophies to the ring again, leaving them with Nash at the announce table. Stare down at the bell, and it's strangely civil. Moose and AA shake hands, and MHJ lays down!! AA jumps down on him, hooks the legs, grabs the tights... and Williams soccer kicks him right in the face! Johnny throws up his hands in disgust, then realizes it's 2 on 1. Adrenaline bails to the floor and LD gives chase. Back in, and JA runs into a clothesline. KZ stomps the hell out of Johnny, then Moose drops AA with a right hand when he gets up. Williams tosses Johnny to the floor, and it's 2 on 1 for AA. Capps gets pounded down, and Williams plants him with a brain buster. Moose grabs a camel clutch, and Williams kicks AA in the gut. Johnny breaks that up, and Williams follows out, and we get some semblance of a tag match here. Moose slings AA to the corner for some shots, and Williams tags in. LD works him over with chops and kicks, then rolls thru with a cross arm breaker. AA to the ropes to break, and LD obliges... only to drag AA to the middle and look for the STF. JA hops in to stop that, but Williams picks his leg from the mat, leaves AA, and puts Johnny in the sharpshooter. AA clotheslines LDW down and TCH takes over. Some double teaming in the corner, but Johnny gets too cocky, and LD chops the hell out of him. To the ropes, backdrop, then a hip toss, and a running cross chop takes Johnny down hard. Tag to Moose and he chokes JA out on the ropes, allowing LD to get a sucker punch in. Moose puts Johnny in the tree of woe and hits a charging knee, then peppers him with kicks before the ref frees him. Johnny bails to the floor, but Williams hits him with a double axe handle, and Moose with a jumping elbow to Johnny's head. They pinball Adrenaline on the floor, and AA is around to get in on it. Capps takes down Moose, then reverses Williams into the guardrail. AA sends Moose to the post, but MHJ reverses and AA eats post instead. Johnny goes low on Moose, and rolls back in the ring. But Williams sneaks up from behind and takes him down into the STF. Johnny grabs the ropes in desperation and we get a break. Moose back in and it's a SPIKE PILEDRIVER~! That'll do it... but AA pulls the ref out. Williams nails Capps with a suicide dive, and the ref gets taken out too. Moose sees that and perks up, going to the floor to grab a chair. Johnny eats steel! AA eats steel! Moose pile drives Johnny on the chair! Williams slides in and DDT's AA on the chair! The chair is bent all to hell. Moose grabs another one and opens it and sets it in the middle of the ring. Williams with a gut buster on the chair to Johnny, and that refolds the chair backwards. AA staggers up a bloody mess and Moose swings the chair like a baseball bat and wallops Capps on the side of the head. HOWEVER... the ref sees that from the floor and calls for the bell! Williams can't believe it, but now that it doesn't matter, clobbers Johnny one more time. Moose and Williams take the chairs and beat the ever loving hell out of TCH until they are quivering puddles of jello. AA and Johnny, both unconscious, may have gotten the decision, be it's clear who the real winners are in this one.
WINNERS by DQ in 13:29: THE CHICKENSHIT HEELS
The Midnight Express Bracket Finals:
GODS & MONSTERS vs. ALEXANDER DARLING & DAVIN MORELANDGods and Monsters, accompanied by Selena, enter the ring first. Tytan looks more intense than usual, if that's possible, and Poe looks as close to cheerful as he gets. They discuss strategy and Selena prances around the ring until the lights dim and Davin Moreland and Alex Darling step onto the stage. RUN DEA pause to soak up the crowd's hatred before walking down the aisle. They step into the ring and the war of words begins immediately. Referee Davis Hightower somehow manages to separate them and sends Davin and Tytan to their corners, leaving Alex and Poe to start the match. The bell rings and we're underway.
They meet in center ring and Alex has a lot to say, while Poe simply smirks, then hauls off and slaps Alex across the face! With a scream of rage, Alex lays into Poe with an almost constant barrage of punches and chops, driving him back to the corner. Poe sags against the turnbuckles and Alex uses him for a step up, leaping into the air and driving his knee into Poe's temple, then hooking his head on the way down and driving him to the mat with a DDT. Tytan and Davin start into the ring as Alex covers, but Hightower sends both men back and Poe kicks out.
Alex drags Poe to his feet and whips him to the DEA corner, but Poe reverses and drives a shoulder into Alex’s midsection in the corner. Before he can follow up, Davin is in from behind to make it two on one, and that lasts about a second-and-a-half before Tytan sprints across the ring, narrowly avoiding Hightower in the process. Tytan pulls Davin off and pummels him into the corner. After a series of shoulders to the midsection, Tytan whips him across the ring, but Davin reverses. Tytan hits the corner hard and stumbles out into a power slam. Davin mounts him and rains down punches, but Tytan manages to throw him off and they roll to the outside.
Poe, meanwhile, regains the advantage over Alex and pummels him with punches and elbow strikes. A kick to the stomach is followed by a power bomb, and Poe comes off the ropes with a knee drop to the temple. He forgoes the cover and drags Alex to the G&M corner as Tytan, having slammed Davin face first into the ring post, climbs onto the apron for the tag. G&M sling Alex to the ropes and murder him with a tandem choke slam. Tytan covers while Poe hits a running dive that slams the World Champion into the guardrail. Hightower counts One…Two…Thr – Alex rolls a shoulder!
Tytan pulls Alex to his feet into a sick clothesline that nearly takes his head off. He tries it a second time, but Alex ducks it and reverses into a Northern Lights Suplex. He bridges, but Tytan kicks out at two. Alex rolls to his feet first and levels Tytan with a Super kick, then rolls him over and hits a brutal Curb stomp. He hangs on and hits the move repeatedly until blood starts to pool under Tytan’s head. He’s so intent on his work that he doesn’t see Poe slide into the ring, and Poe kills him with a diving clothesline. A bloody Davin is right behind him, however, and as Poe rolls to his feet, Davin plants him with a Really Good Diamond Cutter. Davin tosses Poe to the outside and, seeing his partner is out of it, drags him to the DEA corner and steps onto the Apron to tag himself in.
Davin approaches Tytan as he gets to his feet and they lock up. Davin grabs a headlock and starts slamming punches into his face. Tytan hits a suplex, but Davin maintains the headlock. Tytan struggles to his feet again and simply picks Davin up and runs him face first into the G&M corner. Davin lets go and Tytan sets him on the top turnbuckle and drops him into the tree of woe before making the tag. Poe comes in and G&M stomp Davin until Alex comes in to break it up. Tytan breaks off to deal with Alex, getting the better of a brawl and slinging him to the ropes to plant him with a spine buster, but Alex reverses it in the air and flips Tytan out of the ring. Poe, meanwhile, releases Davin and pulls him to his feet. Poe goes for the Crucifixion, but Alex catches him with a low blow and Davin slips out. As Davin lands, Tytan hops onto the apron and clotheslines him on the top rope, then drags the World Champ out of the ring. Alex attacks Poe with punches and kicks, then tries for a suplex, but Poe blocks and reverses dropping Alex gut first on the top rope. Poe backs off a step and delivers a brutal kick to the temple, then grabs Alex by the throat and drags him off the ropes into a two-handed choke slam. Poe covers and Hightower counts. Davin breaks away and tries to dive into the ring to make the save, but Tytan drags him back out as Hightower reaches three.
WINNERS, in 15:36, Gods & Monsters.
After the match: Davin and Tytan, both bleeding profusely, continue to brawl outside the ring. Poe goes out to help, and Alex drags himself to the ropes, pulling himself up and slingshotting into a plancha / fall that takes everyone down. The four continue to brawl until security floods the ringside area and manages to separate them.
PHANTOS & LUCIOS vs. ERIC O’MAC & CHRIS COLE – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchEric and Cole are announced and they make their way to the ring to the boos of the crowd. There really is no crowd favorites in this match. Cole and O’Mac step between the ropes and wait, discussing some last minute strategy. The annoying strains of “God Blessed Texas” start on the PA system, and the crowd immediately goes into full-on boo mode. The world tag team champions come to the top of the ramp, and get pelted with trash. Neither seems a bit bothered by this as they make their way to the ring. The champions step between the ropes and show off the titles, the Captain decides he will start things first and Lucios steps onto the apron. On the other side, it looks like Cole will start things for his team. The referee calls for the bell and this one is underway. Phantos walks right up to Cole and does some jawing, Cole looks at him, slightly amused and shoves him to the mat. Phantos springs back to his feet and tries a spinning heel kick, but Cole ducks and grabs him for a side Russian leg sweep, but when they go down, Phantos grabs Cole’s leg and takes him to the mat and tries a figure four, but Cole kicks him to the ropes. Phantos bounds off the ropes and steps over Cole, Cole springs to his feet and starts a clothesline, but when Phantos ducks, Cole catches him with a knee to the face! Phantos falls to the mat, Cole pulls him up and throws him into his corner where Eric wastes no time wrapping the tag rope around his throat while Cole distracts the referee. Lucios starts into the ring, then quickly stops and regains his composure on the outside. Cole charges in and catches Phantos with a forearm to the side of the head then tags in Eric. Eric steps into the ring and whips Phantos to the ropes and catches him with a spinning heel kick right to the face, then covers, but Phantos kicks out at one. Eric pulls Phantos to a sitting position and connects with several stiff kicks to the back, then reaches back and tags in Cole. Cole hits the ropes in one direction, Eric on the other, Cole connects with a knee to Phantos back while Eric catches him with a kick to the face at the same time. Cole covers, but Phantos is out at two again. Cole pulls Phantos to his feet, scoops him up and plants him on the mat, then climbs to the second rope and tries an elbow to the throat, but Phantos moves out of the way. As Cole spins to his feet, Phantos catches him with a drop kick to the mouth that sends Cole down. Cole quickly gets to his feet again and Phantos takes him down with an arm drag, then holds onto Cole and reaches out and tags in Lucios. Lucios comes in and clubs Cole across the arm, then throws him into the corner and hammers him with rights and lefts. The referee calls for a break, and Lucios gives him the break, after one last head but between the eyes that sends Cole to the mat. Lucios backs off for a moment, and Phantos runs down the apron and connects with a boot wash to the side of Cole’s face that sends him under the ropes to the floor. Lucios shoves the referee out of the way and leaves the ring and pulls Cole to his feet and shoves him back first into the apron, then whips him toward the stairs. Cole shows his athleticism by leaping over the stairs, and running around the ring, pulling Phantos off the apron and slamming him face first into the guard rail. Lucios pursues Cole and grabs him from behind, but Eric O’Mac joins the fray and nails Lucios from behind. All four men brawl around the ring, none of them paying a bit of attention to the referee’s instructions to get the match back into the ring. The referee starts the ten count, and none of the four notice it for a second. By now the fight has spilled INTO the crowd, and they are using chairs and anything that is not nailed down against one another. The referee gets to ten, and waves the match off.
WINNERS – Double Count Out in 19:11
DH MAGNUSSON vs. SPIN HANSEN – OOWF Intercontinental Title Match "Exterminate, Annihilate, Destroy" blasts through the arena, and Spin Hansen makes his way to the ring, looking distracted as he makes his way to the ring. Rotersand gives way to Arcade as the champion is introduced, and D.H. Magnusson, his right eye heavily bandaged and wearing street clothes with the belt slung of his shoulder slowly makes his way don't the aisle. Referee Hightower looks confused. Spin looks concerned. Magnusson looks resigned as he steps in the ring, pulling a microphone from his back pocket.
DHM: Y'know...All my life, I only had one thing that I could ever take real pride in. I ain't never backed down from a fight. No matter what, even if I knew I was gonna lose, I never backed down. That's one of t'things...Hell that th' BIG thing that got me here an' got me th' chance to come out every night an' bust my ass for you guys.
The crowd pops dutifully, but Magnusson quiets them down.
DHM: Yeah...thanks. I love you guys, too. But th' thing of it, now there's this. *points to eye* The doc's don't know if I'll ever get my vision back, an' if it does, they don't know how much it'll come back. But what they think they do know...
Magnusson takes a moment, gathering himself. Hansen steps towards him, but Magnusson quickly waves him off.
DHM: What they think they do know is that I can't fight tonight. Not tonight, maybe not ever again. I came out here to....well I came out here to tell all of yas that, an' t'forfeit th' match.
The crowd boos heartily, and Hansen is instantly in front of Magnusson talking animatedly. Magnusson looks deflated, and after a moment, he slings the title belt over to Hansen's shoulder. Hansen protests, but Magnusson steps back putting a hand up.
DHM: I know it ain't th' way you wanted t'win it, bro...But th' way I'm lookin' at it, it's like all ththose friends of mine at the shelters across the country; At least I know it's gonna to a good place, with someone who deserves it. Raise his hand, Hightower - he's th' new champ.
