OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Basseterre, St. Kitts
DDT vs. ERASMUS GUMBSErasmus Gumbs is announced first and comes out to a chorus of boos. Gumbs is one of the most hated men in the Island Wrestling Federation. Gumbs is a huge man, 6’6” 330lbs and has a mean streak a mile wide. He taunts the fans while his opponent, making his OOWF debut, is announced. “Dynamite” Danny Taylor, or DDT, is led to the ring by his manager “Dashing” Victor Deniro, or DVD. DDT steps over the top rope into the ring, and walks right up to Gumbs and extends his hand. Gumbs looks at him and laughs, and slaps his hand away. DDT just smirks a bit and heads back to the corner where DVD gives him some last minute instructions. The bell rings and Gumbs charges into the corner and hammers DDT from behind, catching him with repeated forearms to the back of the head, dropping DDT to one knee. Gumbs drags DDT to the ropes and chokes him on the top rope, then slingshots him off the rope. DDT does not go down, but he staggers to the middle of the ring. Gumbs charges at DDT, but DDT stops him with a forearm to the face, then throws him across the ring with a t-bone suplex! Gumbs gets to his feet and DDT scoops him up and slams him to the mat, then bounds off the ropes and drops a leg across his chest. DDT covers, but Gumbs kicks out at two. DDT pulls Gumbs to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a big power slam. DDT grabs Gumbs arm and locks him in a fujiwara arm bar, but Gumbs scoots to the ropes and gets his foot on the bottom strand forcing the break. DDT immediately releases the hold and Gumbs scoots under the bottom rope and turns and threatens the fans in the front row. He stomps around the ring and sees DVD and moves toward him menacingly. From inside the ring, DDT reaches out and grabs Gumbs and pulls him up onto the apron, then hooks him for a suplex, and keeps Gumbs up there for a LOOOONG time letting him think about it. DDT moves to the middle of the ring then falls back and drives him to the mat. DDT floats over and covers Gumbs again, but Gumbs rolls his shoulder at two. DDT pulls him to his feet and sends him to the ropes, catches him with a boot to the gut and hits the DYNAMITE DROP! Gumbs is not kicking out of this one. DDT covers, one, two, three!
WINNER in 4:24 – DDT
After the match, DVD comes in and raises DDT’s arm in victory. DDT reaches down and shakes a prone Gumbs hands, then they leave the ring to the cheers of the crowd.
CONCRETE TG vs. TYLER VANGARD vs. DR. INFERIERITyler Vangarde makes his way to the ring first, berating the fans and generally trashing them as much as they’re trashing him. He climbs through the ropes and paces, glaring up the aisle. Concrete TG enters next, and gets a considerably more positive response. CTG stops to chat with some fans and sign some autographs, which has Vangarde ranting as he paces. CTG steps into the ring and has words with Vangarde. The mask makes it hard to lip read, but Concrete is waggling a finger, and Vangarde is turning ruby. Referee Junior Hale steps reluctantly between them as the house lights dim and Dr. Infieri steps onto the stage. He raises his arms to the crowd in a sort of benediction, and gets almost no response. He doesn’t seem to notice, and makes his way sedately to the ring. He steps inside and removes his robe. Junior calls for the bell, and this one is underway.
Infieri motions for CTG and Tyler to start, so they circle and lock up. As soon as their backs are turned, Infieri rebounds off the ropes and attempts a double clothesline. CTG and Tyler sense him coming and duck. Infieri puts on the brakes and turns around – right into a tandem super kick. CTG turns to Tyler, who drives him to the mat with a choke. Junior counts, and Tyler releases the choke at four, but goes right back to it. Junior drags him off, and Tyler jumps to his feet to argue. CTG gets to his feet as Tyler backs Junior into the corner. CTG moves to help, but Infieri grabs him from behind and runs him hard into the opposite corner, slamming him shoulder-first into the ring post. Tyler launches himself at Infieri, who sidesteps and hooks Tyler into a full nelson bomb. Infieri stomps on Tyler, and then drags him to his feet and shoves him into the corner. Infieri hits Tyler with a series of elbow strikes and slings him across the ring. Tyler leapfrogs a rising CTG and hops onto the second turnbuckle. CTG sidesteps Infieri as he sprints across the ring, and grabs him in a waist lock. Tyler hits Infieri with a flying dropkick, and CTG uses the momentum to hit a German suplex. He bridges, and gets two before Tyler breaks it up.
Tyler drags CTG to his feet and starts wailing on him with punches and kicks, with the occasional eye rake thrown in for good measure. Infieri gets to his feet, and Tyler gives him the same treatment. CTG grabs Tyler and plants him with the Long Arm of the Law! Infieri falls on him and covers, but CTG hits a Lionsault on them both. CTG pulls Infieri to his feet and rocks him with European uppercuts, and then sends him across the ring and plants him with a back body drop. He looks over at Tyler, who is still flat on his back, and locks Infieri in the Dragnet. Infieri struggles, but refuses to submit. He manages to drag CTG toward the ropes. Just before he gets there, Tyler gets to his feet and aims a Yakuza kick at CTG's head. CTG dodges, and the kick connects with Infieri. CTG releases the Dragnet as Infieri falls, and darts behind Tyler, rolling him up for two.
Tyler springs to his feet before CTG and buries a knee in his stomach. He plants the hero with a DDT and kicks him under the ropes to the floor. Tyler grabs Infieri – who catches him in a small package for another two count. Tyler rolls to his feet and smashes Infieri in the face with a closed fist, drawing a warning from Junior. Tyler points to CTG on the outside, and knees Infieri in the groin when Junior turns to look. Tyler snaps Infieri over with a suplex, and then mounts him and starts driving forearms into his face. Infieri frees himself by returning the knee to the groin, and then drags Tyler to the corner and sits him against the turnbuckles. A series of kicks knocks Tyler loopy, and Infieri gets a running start to drive a knee into his face. Infieri hauls Tyler to his feet and drags him to the middle of the ring – Gordian Knot! Tyler struggles, but is fading fast. CTG hops onto the apron, springs off the ropes, and hits a leg drop to break it up. Infieri rolls to his feet and drives an elbow into CTG's stomach as he gets up, and then sends him to the ropes. CTG C-T-G's through the ropes to stop his momentum, then turns and nails a charging Infieri with a head butt to the stomach. CTG slides under the ropes to the apron, and then springboards back in to drop Infieri with a missile dropkick. CTG lands on his feet and sprints across the ring, clotheslining a rising Tyler out to the floor. CTG grabs Infieri as he gets up, and nails the Final Justice. He covers, and Junior counts One...Two...Tyler slides into the ring a second too late...Three.
WINNER, in 12:27, Concrete TG.
After the match, Doctor Infieri rolls out to the floor as Concrete celebrates. CTG doesn't see Tyler get to his feet behind him. Vangarde reaches into his tights and pours something into his hand. CTG turns around – and Vangarde throws red powder into his eyes! CTG collapses, and Tyler tries to lock on the Manifesto, but officials are already flooding the ring and manage to pry him off. Doctor Infieri, meanwhile, is making his way up the aisle, looking back at the ring occasionally and shaking his head.
LD WILLIAMS vs. SPIN HANSENLD Williams comes to the ring, with his familiar entrance, overlaid with red spots and V symbols. There's a few in the crowd who hold up their hands with the V sign, as there's some in every crowd, but most of the crowd boos. The mood of the crowd changes significantly, though, as Spin Hansen appears and everyone cheers. Spin doesn't acknowledge it, though. he speeds to the ring, no doubt looking for revenge for this week's ambush by the Five. He practically vaults into the ring, and hits LD Williams like a battering ram, driving him back to the other side of the ring and sending the referee to the side to go ahead and call for the bell. Spin doesn't let up and let's fly a flurry of punches and chops that basically leave LD with nothing to do but block. The referee tries to get Spin's attention, as some of those are closed fists, and LD is tied up in the ropes anyway, but to no avail. He starts the five count, and Spin breaks it off at about 4.99999. Spin backs up only about half a step, but it's all LD needs, as he bursts forth with an equivalent amount of force and fury and returns Spin's attack, blow for blow, until it is Spin with his back to the ropes, and LD who is raining down fists, and being counted to 4.99999. LD backs up more than half a step, and hits Spin right in the jaw with a big boot that knocks him over the ropes and to the floor. LD rolls out after him, helps him up and whips him head first into the steel steps, re-opening the cuts on his face. Spin stands, groggy, and wipes sweat and blood out of his eyes. He charges at LD, but LD tries to reverse him into the ring post, but it's no dice. Spin reverses the reversal and LD ends up eating the ring post. Spin wastes no time picking LD up and running him back first into the barricade. He shoulder blocks LD a few more times, but then LD gets his footing, and grabs Spin, lifting him up and over with a back body drop into the crowd. LD poses a bit and then hops over, picking up a still groggy and slightly-more-bloody-than-before Spin Hansen. But Spin does not come up empty handed, having grabbed a folding chair abandoned by a panicked fan. He swings, and LD ducks...but LD does not duck the reversal, and takes the shot right in the back of the head. Down he goes as Spin repeatedly nails him with the chair. Spin gets bored with this and tosses the chair aside, and goes to head back to the ring. LD pulls himself up, and charges Spin from behind, and DDTs him right onto the concrete floor. Both men stagger to their feet and exchange hockey punches as they move around the seating area, sending fans scurrying. This has not been a wrestling clinic, to say the least, and the referee long ago gave up hope of either man returning to the ring. He hits ten in the count out and this one is over.
WINNER in 15:51 – No Contest, double Count out
The two men continue to pummel each other back into the concession stand area. LD throws Spin into a beer cart, and Spin gets up, grabs a keg, and hurls it at LD. It bounces off LD's face, and finally security is able to make it through the crowd that has gathered and get the two men separated.
NOTHING HAPPENED vs. POE & STANKNothing Happened are announced first and come to the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Davin and Alexis make it to the ring and they huddle in the corner for some last minute strategy. The Five members Poe and Stank are announced next, and they come out with Selena leading them to the ring and get booed loudly. As soon as they get to the ring, Poe and Stank step between the ropes and attack. They send Davin to the floor and focus on beating Alexis to the mat.
The referee escorts Poe out of the ring leaving just Stank and Alexis. Stank pulls her to her feet and sends her to the ropes and nearly decapitates her on the rebound with a clothesline. Stank throws Alexis into the Five corner and keeps her trapped there while Poe and Stank take turns beating her down mercilessly. Alexis rallies a few times but can never sustain enough offense to get across the ring and tag in Davin.
The Five get several near falls, but each time Alexis shows her resolve and kicks out. Finally, Poe comes in and lifts Alexis for a crucifix bomb but Alexis wiggles free, lands behind Poe and POPS him with a super kick to the mouth. Poe goes down and makes the tag to Stank, but before Stank can get to Alexis, she lunges across the ring and tags in Davin Moreland.
Moreland comes in like a house on fire, whatever that means, and cleans house. He catches Stank with a choke slam, and Poe with a boot to the face. Davin keeps the offense up for a bit while Alexis recovers outside the ring. Finally he is able to bring her back into the ring. Davin catches Stank with a dolphin kick, then brings Alexis back in, she climbs to the top rope, then onto Davin’s shoulders and hits a PHOENIX SPLASH! She covers, but Stank kicks out at two. The fight continues for much longer and finally we get to the end game.
Alexis hits Poe with a curb stomp, but the referee is distracted by Stank and Davin brawling outside. A'isha (who was made her way to the ring) sneaks in behind Alexis and hits a spin kick right to the back of her head, then pulls Poe on top for the cover. 1...2...3.
WINNERS in 33:11 Poe & Stank
After the match, Poe waits for Alexis to make it to her feet, then nearly kicks her head into the 3rd row with a Hieroglyph. A'isha, Poe, Stank and Selena smirking as they walk to the back.
ALEXANDER DARLING & RAVENNA BLUE vs. FIREWOMAN & ECOSYSTEMPA: Someday you'll see...YOU'RE JUST LIKE ME!
"Snow White Queen" plays as Ravenna Blue and the OOWF World Champion Alexander Darling enter the arena. The crowd goes absolutely BATSHIT for them as they make their way down to the ring. There are competing "Dar-Ling" and "Blue! Blue! Blue!" chants, with Ravenna's impressively loud given her recent streak of losses. Alexander high-fives some fans on his way down, with Ravenna watching him warily as she rolls into the ring. The two face each other, and then turn toward the ramp....
PA: My God, my Tourniquet...return to me SALVATION!
"Tourniquet" by Evanescence plays and Ecosystem and Firewoman come out. Firewoman clearly looks annoyed to be coming out to Ecosystem's music, but remains focused on Alexander Darling in ring. Ecosystem stops halfway down ramp, throwing his arm in the air. A microphone is lowered down to Ecosystem's hands as the crowd begins booing.
Ecosystem: Now will all you misguided souls please silence yourselves--<inaudible over the booing.> SHUT THE--<inaudible.>
The booing is too loud for Eco to be heard. Firewoman comes over and slaps the microphone out of his hand, gesturing for him to come down to the ring. The crowd cheers this as Eco grudgingly follows. They walk up to the corner--Ravenna gestures that she wants Eco, Alexander seems to also want in first. He yells something inaudible at Fire, almost causing her to charge in before Eco steps between and has the referee recognize him as the legal man. It's Ecosystem and World Champion Alexander Darling in the ring as Ravenna returns to her corner, and the bell rings!
Ecosystem and Alexander circle, with Ecosystem running in and placing a few hard Muy Thai kicks to the ribs of Darling. Darling grabs Eco's leg on the fourth attempt, spins him around and takes him down with a striking forearm. Ecosystem falls to the ground and rolls backwards a couple paces, avoiding Darling's immediate grasp. Darling follows, however, catching Eco with a kick to the jaw that sends him rolling outside the ring. Darling throws his fist in the air as the fans cheer. He bounces off the opposite side of the ring, comes through the ropes for a suicide dive--Eco ducks down and pops up as Darling goes through the ropes with a Jack-In-The-Box head butt to Darling's sternum mid-air! Alexander Darling goes flying face first into the announce table! Eco rolls back into the ring and walks over to Ravenna's corner, jawing with her as the referee begins the 10-count.
Alexander Darling rolls back into the ring at five, being greeted with stomps to the back from Ecosystem. Eco yanks Darling up into a full nelson, pushing his weight up toward the shoulders and upper back of Darling to prevent the champion from using leverage to his advantage. Darling pulls his knees under him, lifting Eco a couple inches off the ground. He manages to get up to one knee and pull his left arm in tight, sending Ecosystem over his head with an old-fashioned snap mare! Darling follows up with a decidedly-less-old-fashioned kick to the back of Eco's head. He pulls Eco's arms behind his head, and motions broadly that he's about to Fire stomp Eco into the canvas, sending Firewoman apoplectic. As he enjoys her reaction however, Ecosystem pulls himself through Alexander's legs, pulls upward, and hurricaranas Darling to the canvas!
Ecosystem comes off the ropes and takes Alexander down with a corkscrew flying forearm! He goes outside the ring, planting his feet firmly on the outside canvas. As he scouts Alexander rising, he hops onto the top rope, and comes off with a flying clothesline--but Alexander quickly sidesteps, falling to the side as Eco is planted pancake-style across the canvas! Alexander, stumbling upward and hearing Fire's insults, runs over and tackles Firewoman off the apron, knocking her to the ground. Ravenna steps inside the ring and starts yelling at Alexander for this. He yells at her to get back in their corner, as they get in each other's faces--Eco comes up behind Alexander, swings the arm around, STO! Eco pops up and looks at Ravenna, who quietly returns to her corner. Eco pulls Alexander into a front face lock, backing him into his corner where Firewoman blind-tags in.
Firewoman comes in from outside and grabs Alexander's legs, with Eco and her both spinning around to execute a reverse 3-D on Alexander. Fire stops to admire their handiwork for a moment, then goes for a cover. 1-2-Alexander kicks out. Fire pulls Alexander to the middle of the ring, but Alexander shoulder blocks Fire to the gut and flapjacks her over. He begins to stumble by the corner, but Fire dives and goes for a float over scissors kick. Alexander falls forward, face bumping off the campus. Firewoman bounds off the ropes, spinning corkscrew splash onto Alexander! Fire scoops the leg, kick out in one. Firewoman bounds off the opposite ropes, knee drop attempt to Alexander's face, but Alexander moves out of the way and Fire misses. Fire quickly snatches Alex's shoulder and scoops Alexander up into a dragon sleeper. Alexander pivots and reaches for the ropes, but Firewoman is refusing to let go of the hold. Ecosystem quickly runs around and yells at Firewoman to release, which she does at the four-count.
Firewoman jaws with Eco for a second, allowing Alexander to quickly leg sweep Firewoman backward. Alexander pivots, turns, sways, backs up...Alexander gets the tag to Ravenna! Ravenna scoots to the middle of the apron, hops up on the middle of the ropes, comes over with a flying clothesline onto Firewoman! Ravenna looks up and smirks at Eco after pulling off the move successfully. She bounds off the ropes, running low dropkick to the sitting up Firewoman's face! She sets up Firewoman across, goes to the outside mat again--stops for a second to jaw with Eco--and then hops up for a spinning shooting star press, crashing and burning as Fire rolls out of the way. Firewoman scouts Ravenna as she bounds up, jawbreaker dropkick shooting Ravenna back. She pulls Ravenna up into a modified Tazmission sort of move...NO! Exploder suplex! Ravenna goes flying across the ring. As Fire stands up, Alexander yells something--again inaudible, due to fan volume, but it seems to make Fire snap!
Firewoman comes over to Alexander and throws him over the ropes into the ring, nailing him with hard kicks to the face. She tears off one of the turnbuckle pads in one motion and slams Alexander's face against it. Firewoman is choking Alexander out on the ropes, not paying any attention to Ravenna stirring! She grabs her left leg and quickly rolls Fire up from behind...1-2-3! Firewoman is STUNNED!
WINNERS in 16:20...Alexander Darling and Ravenna Blue!
The crowd is going absolutely nuts, as a "Blue! Blue! Blue!" chant picks up. Collecting himself, Alexander seems mildly miffed that Ravenna is getting the audience's cheers, but he then sees the stunned Firewoman in the ring, smirking as he raises his title belt above his head. Ecosystem then walks into the ring, standing behind Firewoman, not saying a word. She slowly stands up and turns around--putting them nose to nose, staring each other down. The camera picks up their conversation:
Eco: What the FUCK was that?
Fire: EXCUSE me?
Eco: Excuse you? We just lost a match to fucking RAVENNA because of your freak-out bullshit! Calm the fuck down!
Fire: You better step off right now, before I knock you back.
Eco: You are trying my newfound patience.
Fire: You are trying the patience I don't have.
Fire raises her hand, but hesitates. Eco takes her hand and gently puts it to the side, seemingly frustrating Fire further. He quickly rolls out of the ring before she can react and walks backwards, not taking his eyes off her. She summarily exits after a long pause.
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. THE DEAD vs. CHRIS EVANS vs. OUTBACK JACK – Non Title MatchFor reasons unknown to anyone, GM The Rick has decided to make this a non-title match. Outback Jack is the first to come out, chugging and crushing a beer before heading down to the ring. He seems to have a very intense look on his face, not acknowledging the fans quite as much as usual. Chris "Lionheart" Evans is next out, making the face run up and down the aisles before sliding into the ring and slapping hands with Jack. The Dead comes out next, keeping his eyes fixed on Chris Evans as he enters, allowing the two to go nose to nose. Finally, the bright red "V" comes on the screen to tremendous boos as the Intercontinental Champion, Moosehead Jack, slowly makes his way down to the ring, walking the stairs and entering in slowly.
As the bell rings, all of the four men begin eyeing each other warily. Suddenly. Ecosystem comes down to the ring, locking eyes with Moosehead Jack. As Moose is distracted, Dead makes a run at him, but Moose lifts Dead over headfirst into the turnbuckle. Evans takes the opportunity to spear Moose down and lay into him with right hands, but Outback Jack pulls him off into a DDT, good for a one-count before Evans kicks out and Moose kicks Outback Jack off. The two Jacks trade right hands as Dead scoops Evans into a neckbreaker. Meanwhile, Ecosystem walks around slowly to the announce table and dons a headset.
JR: What are you doing over here, trying to hog more spotlight?
Razz: Hey Juni, the hell's going on with you and Fire, huh?
Eco: Will you both shut up and call the damn match? I'm spectating. Scouting.
Moose gets the best of the exchange with Outback, backing up and taking Outback Jack down with a bicycle kick. Dead goes for the cover on Evans, Moose boots him off before a one-count. Moose picks up Evans and throws him into The Dead. He backs up to charge them both in the corner, but Outback Jack comes up from behind and release German suplexes him in the opposite direction! Meanwhile, Evans comes out of the corner with a bulldog on Dead, laying him flat out. Evans and Outback Jack stare at each other, Jack taking a forearm swing but Evans catches him and arm drags him on top of Dead! Moosehead Jack runs at Evans, but the Lionheart drop toeholds him onto the other two prone bodies. Evans runs to the opposite side of the ring, rolls once, rolling thunder on all three competitors!
Evans pops up to applause from the fans, scouting his opponents as they stagger up. First is Moose, who he catches with a front Ace crusher. However, Dead leapfrogs over Jack toward Evans, taking him down with a flying rough ryder legdrop across the neck! Dead kips up and attempts a Close The Casket on Outback Jack, but OBJ ducks in the nick of time! He catches Dead's thigh overhead and tackles him down, crushing the side of Dead's leg in the process! He hooks the presumably-injured leg for two before Moose breaks it up a big running elbow. Moose pulls Outback Jack into a hard knee to the cut, double under hook, pulls him up, POWERBOMB right onto The Dead! Moose goes for the cover on both of them! 1-2-Evans breaks it up with a running seanton to the back of Moose's neck!
Moose grabs the back of his head and rolls out of the ring. Evans goes for the cover on Outback Jack, but Dead kicks out from underneath them sending them both off. Dead bounds off the ropes, shoulder block tackle to Evans sending him out of the ring! Outback Jack then wrenches Dead's leg out from under him, pulling him into a heel hook! Dead is in tremendous pain, flailing wildly to keep Jack from wrenching in a good position. He finally takes his free leg and kicks Outback Jack hard in the back of the head three times, forcing Jack to let go. Outside the ring, Moose and Evans are exchanging lefts and rights, with Moose gaining the advantage with a hard clothesline. Inside the ring, Outback Jack off the ropes, The Dead launches him over with a flapjack sending him outside the ring on top of Moose and Evans. Dead takes a step outside the ropes onto the apron, hops to the top rope--suicide moonsault onto all three men! All four competitors are down outside the ring! The referee begins to count: 1...2....3...4...
Dead is first to roll back into the ring, followed by Evans, who missed much of the final impact. Dead sees Evans and scouts him for a Close the Casket, but both suddenly shoot up superkicks at once! Both Dead and Evans are down! Outback Jack and Moosehead Jack slide into the ring, crawling over and covering Evans and Dead respectively. 1-2-both kick out! The two Jacks step up, bump backwards into each other, turn around and begin trading shots. OBJ gets Moose off his feet with a spinebuster, floating over into a front face lock. Moose begins to fight up when Evans jumps OFF the elevated back off Moose with a corkscrew moonsault onto Dead! Outback Jack follows through on the stunned Moose with a double-arm DDT, but Evans breaks up any cover attempt with a running knee. Evans drops on top of Moose, but is pulled off by Outback Jack, who plants him with another Double-Arm DDT!
The Dead manages to stumble up, striking OBJ across the side of the head with a running ensuiguri. Dead attempts a headbutting charge into Moose's sternum as Moosehead Jack staggers up, but it only sends Moose back a step. OBJ slips his arm around the inner left thigh of The Dead and rolls him up for a two count before Evans separates them with a well-placed kick. The Dead stumbles upward, catching Moose on the charge with a HUGE Close The Casket! Moose falls straight out of the ring, landing HARD on the floor. Dead spins around to face Outback Jack and Chris Evans-- Outback Jack pushes Evans toward Dead, ANOTHER Close The Casket! Evans is down! Dead takes a step toward Evans, but is pulled up into a spinning Samoan Drop by Outback Jack! OBJ kicks the dizzy and stunned Dead out of the ring. Evans is dazed and beginning to come off the mat as Outback Jack scouts him. Evans turns around, Jack reaches out...CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP! Outback Jack goes for the pin on Evans....1.....2.....Moose can't break up the pin in time....3!
Winner in 17:52...Outback Jack!
Outback Jack has his arm raised as the fans erupt, exiting the ring and slapping hands as he walks up. Dead stumbles up the ramp after him, but not quite reaching. Moosehead Jack looks stunned as he watches OBJ head up the ramp smiling. He rolls into the ring, staring daggers through Evans. Evans staggers up--HEART PUNCH! Evans goes down as Moosehead Jack storms out of the ring, clearly pissed off.
With Evans laid out in the ring, Ecosystem rises from his headset, taking a microphone. He climbs up to the ring and sits atop the top turnbuckle, staring down at Evans.
Eco: Hello, "Lionheart". (Boos raining down.) Looks like you haven't turned over a new leaf at all, eh? Just as much of a jobber, as much a second banana, as you've always been. Just remember...the offer always stands. You want to save this company? Act like you mean it.
Eco hops off the turnbuckle before Evans can grab at him, walking up toward the ramp...where he stands on the end, in a far-away stare with Moosehead Jack. Eco smirks, turns around, and walks through the audience out, where he has trash and food rained upon him.
MATT FOLZ vs. STAN FULTON – OOWF Onslaught Championship Match“The Crusher” Stan Fulton is announced and he makes his way to the ring carrying his trusty axe-handle over his shoulder. The crowd boos Fulton, but he ignores them completely and steps into the ring. The OOWF Onslaught Champion Matt Folz is announced next, and he gets a nice, if somewhat surprising, ovation from the crowd. Folz steps into the ring and hands the title to the referee, never taking his eyes off of Fulton. The referee holds the title high in the air and calls for the bell, and we are underway.
Folz charges across the ring and nails Fulton with a forearm to the jaw rocking the big man’s head backward. Folz climbs to the second turnbuckle and hammers Fulton with forearm shots to the side of the head. Fulton pushes him off, but Folz rolls through and charges in again and catches him with an elbow to the jaw. Fulton staggers out of the corner, and Folz charges off the ropes and nails him with a clothesline, but the big man does not go down. Folz hits the ropes again and catches him with a drop kick to the jaw, but still he does not go down. Folz charges in a third time and tries another clothesline, but Fulton catches him and DRIVES him to the mat with a belly to belly suplex. Fulton covers, but Folz rolls his shoulder at two.
Fulton rolls Folz to his back and then stands on his lower back, putting all his weight on Folz’s spine. Folz howls in pain, then Fulton steps off, and drops a huge elbow across the small of his back. Fulton grapevines Folz’s legs and pulls them back while lying across his back, then reaches up and hooks Folz’s head and tries to bend him in half. Folz grunts in pain and the referee asks him if he wants to quit, but Folz refuses. Fulton breaks the hold and pulls Folz to his feet and whips him hard into the corner. Folz slams into the turnbuckle and staggers forward in pain and Fulton lifts him into a crushing bear hug. Folz howls in pain as Fulton wraps his massive arms around Folz and tries to squeeze the life out of him. Folz tries a few weak punches, but they have little effect. Finally Folz goes limp and the referee checks his arm, it drops once, twice, thre…….NO! Folz manages to keep it in the air. He takes his thumbs and digs them into Fulton’s eyes breaking the hold and drawing a warning from the referee.
Folz staggers back into the corner and Fulton stumbles around the ring for a moment trying to get his vision back, He finally does and spots Folz in the corner, and he charges in for an avalanche, but Folz moves out of the way and Fulton slams into the corner. Folz grabs Fulton from behind and tries to lift him for an Olympic slam, but he tweaks his back and can’t finish the move. Fulton grabs Folz by the back of the head and slams him in the face with a headbutt that drops Folz to his knees. Fulton pulls him to his feet and sends him to the ropes, Folz ducks a clothesline, puts on the breaks, and clips Fulton’s knee from behind, sending the big man to the mat. Folz immediately grabs Fulton’s leg and begins kicking his hamstring and knee. Folz tries for a figure four, but Fulton kicks him off to the corner. Fulton gets to his feet and pulls Folz out of the corner and tries a slam, but Folz slips over his shoulder and kicks the back of Fulton’s knee sending him to the mat again, and Folz grabs his leg and locks in the ANKLE LOCK! Fulton slams the mat in pain but won’t tap out, he drags himself to the ropes and forces the break,
his first Folz releases the hold, and Fulton slides under the ropes and out of the ring. Folz gives him a few seconds, then moves to the ropes to pull the big man in, but as he grabs Fulton by the head, Fulton BLASTS him upside the head with his axe handle! Right in front of the referee! The referee immediately calls for the bell disqualifying Fulton.
WINNER in 10:05 by disqualification – Matt Folz
Fulton climbs back into the ring with the axe handle, the referee tries to stop him from using it, but Fulton shoots him out of the ring. The Crusher stands over Fulton and repeatedly brings the axe handle down on Folz’s ribs and lower back, smiling the whole time. Fulton drags Folz to the corner and climbs to the second rope ready for a big splash, but LD Williams walks to the ring, and slowly steps between the ropes. He isn’t exactly racing to Folz’s rescue, but it is enough to make Fulton stop. He climbs off the middle rope and steps out of the ring and heads to the back. Once Williams is convinced Fulton is done, he steps out of the ring and heads to the back himself, while paramedics check on Folz.
TEXPRESS vs. SALVATION – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchTytan and Wrath enter to a mixed reaction--the crowd hates Salvation, but has warmed to Tytan again somewhat. Tytan acknowledges the positive reaction with a head-nod. However, that reaction is dwarfed in positivity, if not intensity, as the Tag Team Champions Chad Madison and Zane Myers enter the ring. They slowly circle the ring, high-fiving the fans, keeping their eyes on Salvation. They hand their titles to the referee, and Chad signals that he wants to start this one off. Wrath looks agitated in the corner, but defers to his mentor, Tytan. Chad seems pensive for a second, but then offers his hand to Tytan. Tytan hesitates for a moment, but shakes his hand. The crowd cheers, and we're off!
Tytan and Chad lock up, center of the ring. Both men muscle back and forth, with Tytan getting the upper hand into a side headlock. Chad pushes him up against the ropes, attempts to push him off, but the big man forces Chad to the mat. Chad locks a leg around the ropes, referee motions for Tytan to break the hold. Tytan yells "I have until five!" before he breaks it at the four-count. Tytan pulls Chad up, lifts him over his head for the power bomb, but Chad holds the top rope and leaps over it, landing feet-first on the side of the ring. Tytan turns around, Chad grabs his neck and hops down, hanging Tytan up on the ropes and sending him flying back. Wrath hops down from the corner and gets in Chad's face, but the referee yells at Wrath to back up.
Chad rolls back in the ring and grabs Tytan's leg, dropping a succession of elbows on the inner right thigh of Tytan...one, two, and three. He scoops Tytan's leg over and shifts positions into a half-Boston Crab. Tytan is struggling toward the ropes, but he's too far away! Wrath shouts words of encouragement as he shakes the ropes. After some struggling, he manages to roll himself toward the right leg of Chad, yanking it out from under him and sending Chad face-first to the canvas! Tytan grabs the leg and pulls Chad into a half-Boston crab of his own. Chad reaches back to try the same trick, but Tytan lowers the back, grounding his weight. Chad is about to grab the bottom rope, when Tytan walks and drags Chad over to Salvation's corner. Wrath blind tags in and goes up to the top rope--legdrop across the strained back of Chad! Judgment From Above! Wrath goes for the cover, 1-2-No! Chad got his foot on the ropes!
We have a brief cut to the back, with Ecosystem and Tyler looking on. Tyler feigns disinterest but watches intently as Eco is cheering. "Get 'em, c'mon, get 'em!"
Back into the ring and Wrath scoops up Chad Madison for a backbreaker across the right knee! Chad writhes following the impact, leading Wrath to take a rushing knee to the back of Chad, knocking him forward. Wrath places his knee behind Chad and pulls back his arms, yelling for Chad to quit. Chad uses his legs to force himself up, pushing off the knee and coming to occupy a standing position. Wrath pulls him in and spins--Killswitch! Wrath goes for the cover, and a two-count again!
Razz: Chad's will is as strong as his libido, ladies and gentlemen!
Wrath, frustrated, kicks the ropes and lifts Chad up into a torture rack. He squeezes Chad, pulling his feet close to his head as the referee asks Chad if he wants to quit. Chad is quivering--is he writhing in pain or trying to escape?--when he pulls his legs out and falls over Wrath's back, grabbing the back of Wrath's neck and pulling the big man down into a neckbreaker! Wrath and Chad are both down! Wrath begins to get up and grabs Chad's arm, but Chad rolls in, wraps his other arm around Wrath's neck, and pulls him down for a Southern Fried Stunner, sending Wrath flying backward! Catching his bearings, Chad manages to roll quick to the corner and gets the tag to Zane!
Zane Myers runs in and knocks Tytan off the apron before Wrath can get the tag! He hops up onto the second rope and drops a modified double stomp across the back of Wrath. Zane goes for the cover, but Wrath gets the shoulder up before the two-count. Zane across the ring, bounding off the ropes, coming in with a back slide to the face of Wrath. He picks Wrath up for a DDT, but Wrath catches him off guard with a forearm to the gut. Wrath whips Zane into the ropes, catches him coming off with a knee to the gut. Wrath picks Zane up into a gorilla press and drops him across his knee! Zane is grabbing his stomach in pain as Wrath grabs him around the gut. He picks Zane up for a gutwrench powerbomb, but Zane slips out in midair. He bounds off the ropes and catches Wrath across the face with a flying spin kick, landing hard on his own back even as Wrath flops down delirious! Pained, Zane rolls out of the ring as the referee begins to count.
Trying to break up the count to protect Zane, Chad steps into the ring toward Wrath, forcing the referee to turn around to try to force him back. Tytan goes after Zane with an attempted kick to the ribs, but Zane sidesteps the blow. Zane and Tytan begin brawling outside, when Zane catches Tytan between the legs with what looks like an accidental low blow. Wrath, stirring, sees this and slides outside the ring, picking up a steel chair. Zane runs back inside the ring as Wrath follows him. Wrath looks like he's going to swing the steel chair--Tytan yells for him not to use it. To Zane's surprise, Wrath merely passes him the steel chair--just as the referee turns around from Chad. The referee sees the chair in Zane's hand, and calls for the bell!
Winners in 12:12 by DQ....Salvation!
JR: Bad timing for Wrath!
Razz: And he don't look none too happy.
Wrath grabs the referee, and throws him to the ground. Wrath lunges at Zane, but Tytan holds him back and calms him down. Chad and Zane look back to the ring. Tytan takes the microphone.
Tytan: Not now, Wrath--. (turning to Texpress) Good match, boys. But we're not through with either of you. And next time...you won't be getting away on a /technicality/.
Chad and Zane look at each other and shrug, raising their titles above their head as the crowd cheers. Zane yells "any time, boys" as they head to the back and we fade to black
