OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Nassau, Bahamas
SPIN HANSEN vs. DR. INFIERI vs. CONCRETE TG‘Concrete’ Takaken Gryfon comes out first, to a moderate face pop. Many children are wearing Gryfon masks, but it seems as though fans have become discouraged after his recent losing streak. Gryfon does his best to rally them up before he enters the ring. Dr. Infieri’s music hits, and he is met with booing and grumbling as he makes his way down to the ring. He is spraying perfume in front of him, Gorgeous George-style, to fend off the smell of the spectators, drawing greater boos as he enters the ring. Finally, Spin Hansen comes out to a significant pop from the fans, who have fallen back in love with Drink and Destroy over the past month. Spin walks into the ring as referee Junior Hale calls for the bell.
Infieri lunges at Spin, and Crete darts behind him and kicks him in the back of the knees. Infieri stumbles, and Spin grabs the back of Infieri's head and slams his face into his knee. Gryfon grabs Infieri's arms as he hits the mat and hits a spinning neck breaker. Spin pulls Infieri up and hooks him from behind. He hauls the doctor over with a German suplex, and the agile Gryfon springboards off the middle rope into a moonsault. He hooks Infieri's head in mid move and hits a reverse DDT at the same time as the German. Spin rolls to his feet, and Gryfon takes his head off with a super kick! Gryfon falls on Infieri and hooks the leg, but the Demented Doctor powers out at two.
Gryfon gets to his feet and sets Infieri up for a snap suplex – until Spin locks and hits a release German suplex, sending Gryfon across the ring. Crete sits up just in time to get plastered by a boot to the face by Spin. Spin continues on and rebounds off the ropes, and drives an elbow into his throat. He covers, but Infieri drags him off at two. Infieri stands up, still holding Spin's leg, and turns him around and plants him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Infieri leaps straight up and drives his knee into Spin’s face. He turns as Crete gets up and grabs him by the throat – Choke slam! Infieri scrapes Gryfon off the mat and pitches him to the outside, then grabs Spin. He lifts him for a power bomb, but Spin starts throwing punches at the top of the move. Infieri staggers, but does not go down. He gets close to the ropes, however, and Crete grabs the bottom rope and pivots into the ring (like a 619) and drives both feet into Infieri’s ankle. Infieri topples like a redwood, and Spin lands on top, hooking the legs and covering for a two count before Gryfon stomps on him to break it up before falling back
All three wrestlers get slowly to their feet. Infieri sends Gryfon to the ropes, but he’s hobbling, and Crete easily ducks his clothesline attempt. Not Spin’s however, which catches him from the side and turns him inside out. Spin pulls Crete to his feet and sends him to the corner, but gets blindsided by Infieri before he can follow up. Crete vaults to the top rope and takes a moment to clear his head as Spin and Infieri slug it out;. He leaps – split legged dropkick! Spin hits the mat, but Infieri falls against the ropes and gets entangled. Crete pulls Infieri off the ropes and shoves him into the corner. He runs up the ropes and hits a shining wizard, dropping him to one knee. He backs up a few steps and hits a second one. Before he can follow up, Spin turns him around and plants him with a spine buster. Spin renews the attack on Infieri, who’s shaken off some of the cobwebs and fights back. They move out of the corner and Crete slips behind them and climbs the turnbuckles. Infieri levels Spin with a decapitator clothesline and rushes to the corner, grabbing Crete before he can leap and throwing him down to the mat! Infieri goes for the cover on the closer Spin Hansen, 1-2-No! Hansen gets the shoulder up. Infieri then runs across and pins the laid-out Crete….1-2-No! CTG gets the shoulder up as well!
As Dr. Infieri becomes frustrated, Ecosystem comes out slowly to tremendous boos. He continues looking straight ahead and walks down to the ring. Looking to Infieri watching back, he notes Spin coming to his feet and points at Gryfon’s body, giving a throat slash. Infieri protests, but Eco nods again forcefully. Infieri calls to Spin, whips Gryfon toward him—Spin catches Crete with a big knee and a GUTWRENCH! Gryfon is out cold as Infieri hangs back. 1-2-3!
WINNER in 12:30….Spin Hansen!
Spin Hansen looks up to see Infieri just standing there staring, and Eco also up on the apron. Hansen adopts a fighting stance, but Eco motions to Infieri and the two exit peacefully.
CHRIS EVANS vs. THE DEADBoth men make their usual ring entrances, Dead gets the boos, Evans gets the cheers. No big drama here, folks. Dead does have the look of someone who's kind of bored with this though, as if Evans is just another rung on the ladder with which he has to deal. Evans however is focused and ready to go, bouncing back and forth on his feet. The bell rings and Evans doesn't give Dead a chance to react, opting instead to just charge on in, driving a surprised Dead back to the corner with a flurry of chops (still legal in OOWF!), punches, forearms. Dead is forced to retreat and can just put his hands up for defense, until eventually the referee backs off Evans with a 5-count. Dead walks off to the side to regroup, and turns to face Evans, who hits him with a nice Enziguiri. Dead drops to a knee, and Evans follows up with another kick to the head from behind, but instead of making the pin he stands over Dead for a minute, daring Dead to look past him again. Dead slowly gets up, nodding his head at Evans and providing him with a golf clap for his opening efforts, and it's clear Dead will no longer be taken by surprise. Evans isn't impressed though, and the two lock up in the more usual beginning-of-the-match exchange. Dead breaks free pushing Evans off hard so he hits the ropes and bounces back into a kick to the midsection that doubles him over. Dead stands him back up with an uppercut, and then whips Evans into the ropes. Evans reverses though and sends Dead in. Dead leaps up to the second rope and flies...Springboard DDT! Dead makes the pin, one, two...no! Evans kicks out with authority, pushing Dead completely off him. Dead recovers more quickly though, and pulls Evans up by the hair, landing a suit snap suplex. Not content with that, Dead helps Evans up again for a delayed Vertebreaker. That should do it, and Dead makes the pin, but Evans is not going down that easily, folks. He gets a shoulder up, and Dead puts it back down, for another one, two...no! Dead back of this time, but puts in a few stomps just because, and the referee backs him up. Evans pulls himself up with the ropes and Dead charges. Evans drops the top rope so that Dead flies over onto the floor. Evans shakes the cobwebs, sees his opportunity and backs up. He runs, hops to the top rope and springboard planchas onto Dead. The referee starts the count as the two men each try to recover and we do NOT go to ads like some OTHER money grubbing promotions do! Evans and Dead slowly get to their feet, and Dead grabs Evans and whips him into the ring post. Evans bounces out, holding his shoulder, so Dead tries to capitalize with another one to the opposite post, but this time Evans reverses and sends Dead in instead. Evans rolls Dead into the ring then goes up top for a moonsault, but nope! No one is home as Dead rolls out of the way. Evans slowly gets to his feet, as Does dead. Evans turns just as Dead starts to Close the Casket, but Evans ducks under the leg! He grabs Dead with the pump handle suplex!! That's not in Evan's usual move set!! Doesn't matter though, because he makes the cover and gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNER in 23:20 – Chris Evans
LD WILLIAMS vs. MATT FOLZMatt Folz and L.D. Folz sets Williams on the top turnbuckle and climbs up. Williams fights back, and knocks Folz off-balance. Folz starts to fall, grabs the top rope, and pulls himself forward to slam an echoing head butt into Williams’ skull. Both men are stunned for a moment. Folz recovers first and sets up a superplex. Williams blocks, and attempts to send Folz to the outside. Folz blocks that and reverses, but Williams reverses into a flying reverse necks breaker in mid-air! Hightower checks on the possibly dead Folz, but he’s game to continue. Williams rolls over and covers, and this time Folz gets a foot on the ropes to break the count.

SALVATION vs. NOTHING HAPPENED vs. DRINK & DESTROY – OOWF World Tag Team Title Triple Threat MatchThe tag team champions, Tytan and Wrath, enter first to respectable cheers. The crowd obviously appreciates the continued disassociation from old Salvation, and Tytan and Wrath respond like old hands at the face work, slapping hands and rallying the crowd before sliding in the ring. DDT and OBJ are out next as the newest incarnation of the Drink and Destroy team, with Danny Taylor picking up some scattered chants in support. Both sets of pops, while impressive, obviously cannot match the FACIEST FACE IN ALL OF FACEDOM, Davin Moreland, as he enters with the significantly less popular Alexis Darling,

She backs up awaiting some kind of running spear, but DDT stretches out and blind tags himself in to her annoyance. Taylor gets up fast, however, and responds with a few hard rights to Wrath before Wrath drop-toeholds him into the ropes. He pulls DDT off the ropes, right into a big full nelson bomb! Wrath goes for the cover on “Dynamite” Danny Taylor as DVD yells, One…Tw—kickout. Wrath stumbles back and tags Tytan in, who comes off the second rope with a spinning back fist to Taylor. Irish whip is reversed, and Davin lands chest-first into a turnbuckle that has somehow been partially exposed from the wear! Taylor neck breakers Davin down for a cover, but Davin kicks out. Taylor sizes Davin up for a running knee, but as he charges, Davin lays him out with a standing senton, catching him in the face with both feet! Davin begins to climb to the top rope—but he is crotched there by Wrath! Tytan blind tags in off of a stumbling Taylor and climbs up to the top rope where Davin has been crotched. RELEASE THE KRAKEN! Davin is out in the middle of the ring after a hard landing, Tytan goes for the cover, 1-2-3!
WINNERS in 14:28 and STILL OOWF Tag Team Champions…Salvation!
As the tag champions collect themselves in the ring, Ecosystem and Tyler Vangarde appear at the top of the ramp. Ecosystem claps the victory of Salvation mostly-sincerely, while Vangarde slow-claps and glares. The champs raise their titles one more time to an audience pop as they head to the back.
FIREWOMAN vs. ALEXANDER DARLING – Non-Title Sadistic Madness MatchThis next match is not for the faint of heart. The following match was asked for by the challenger for the title at our upcoming PPV, Alexander Darling, and it is one of his specialty matches. It was less than a month ago that Firewoman won the OOWF World Heavyweight Championship from Alex, and this will be their first match one-on-one since then. Alex pushed his automatic rematch to the PPV, but Fire and Alex have both agreed that that will be their last match for the title. This match tonight is personal as the rules are very simple…you must make your opponent bleed before you can win the match. Godsmack’s “I Stand Alone” begins to play and Alexander Darling steps out from the back. He’s still got his black mask with the green dollar sign covering his face and he’s still getting a solid ovation from the fan base here. He slaps a few hands along the way down the aisle before stepping into the ring and taking his shirt off showing the flaming phoenix tattoos on his chest; a reminder of Moosehead Jack’s scar. A few moments later, Tony Iommi’s “Flame On” and the new OOWF World Heavyweight Champion steps out from the back. The Five’s red spotlight circles the arena as the crowd turns from positive to negative to welcome Fire. There are pockets of fans cheering Firewoman but they are being drowned out by the majority. Fire makes her way down to ringside where her fiancée is sitting front row for this one. Fire’s corset ring gear is noticeably bulkie from the obvious taping of her ribs. Firewoman gets to ringside and over to Chris Jericho where the two appearing to be sharing a quiet moment. Fire leans over and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek and just as she turns around…
WHAM!!!
Alexander Darling was flying out of the ring with a SUICIDE TOPE CON HILO and Firewoman’s head smashed hard into Jericho’s head and I suppose we are underway here as the bell rings. Alexander isn’t letting up as he rips the OOWF World Title off Fire’s waist and starts whipping her with the belt. Fire rolls over trying to get away and we see her face is covered with blood already. Alex leans down and wipes the blood off Fire’s face and we notice there is no cut and no more blood and Alex looks disturbed by this and he turns towards Jericho whose nose is busted wide open and bleeding profusely. He’s trying to hop the railing to get at Darling who just smirks and turns around right into a drop toe hold and he plants himself face first into the ringside floor. Fire tosses her belt onto the announce table and starts kicking Alex as he tries to fight to his feet. He finally gets back to a vertical base and catches another attempt at a kick by FW…DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP on the outside. And now it’s Darling’s turn to start firing kicks and he’s aiming right for those notably injured ribs of Firewoman and he isn’t holding back at all. He is lighting Fire’s ribs up with these kicks and you can see her wincing with each strike. She’s trying to scramble away and she finally does as Alex starts looking under the ring for a weapon and he pulls out a garbage can that’s filled with weapons. He pulls out a kendo stick and starts stalking Fire.
Darling goes for a big swing that Fire rolls out of the way from and she gets back to her feet. Alex swings wildly at Fire’s head and she’s able to duck under the swing and it gets Alex off balance and Fire takes advantage as she grabs Alex from behind and sends him flying into the ring post. He crashes into the post with a sickening thud and collapses hard to the floor. Fire lifts his almost dead weight and slowly slides him back into the ring before she heads over to the weapons cache. She looks around the can and pulls out a box of light tubes.
This match has quickly entered the hardcore realm and these two have no issues with that world as Fire gets into the ring and opens the box. She pulls out a few light tubes and places them in a square pattern near the corner. She heads back towards Alex and starts dragging him towards her makeshift light tube design. She goes to lift him up and it looks like she’s going for a suplex or brain buster, but Alex gets his bearings and starts fighting back with some knees and Fire lets go and now it’s his turn to try as AD slips behind FW and goes for an inverted suplex, but he’s denied as Fire slips out the side and she floats over and hits a FLOATOVER DDT away from the light tubes but it still does some damage. Fire isn’t letting up as she drags Alex closer to a corner and hits a scoop slam and quickly follows that up with an impressive SPLIT-LEGGED MOONSAULT. She goes for the cover out of instinct, but there is no count to be made as Alexander isn’t bleeding yet. FW slams the mat in frustration before grabbing 2 more light tubs and this time there is no construction as she slams them over Alexander’s mask. Not sure how much damage that will do, and Fire realizes this as well as she takes a piece of the broken glass and she starts untying Alex’s mask. Darling realizes what’s happening and he starts trying to fight back, but Fire has him down in a good position and she’s really struggling to get the mask off, but finally Alex gets enough strength and fights FW off and he rolls over so he’s on top of her and now he has a piece of glass and he’s looking right at the scar of his initials on her and it delays him enough where Fire takes the piece of glass and just jabs it right into Alexander’s arm and the blood starts dripping down his arm.
Firewoman is now eligible to win the match…Alex scrambles off Fire and tries to put pressure on his arm as that looks like a nasty cut, but Fire isn’t letting up as she nails him with a SHINING WIZARD and he tumbles backwards closer to that light tube contraption FW designed. Fire drops a few quick succession elbows that really seems to daze Alex and Fire is right on top of it as she rolls Alex over, locks the legs…MOTHERFUCKING FIRESTOMP right into the first light tube, but Fire keeps Alexander’s leg locked as she twists him around…2nd MOTHERUCKING FIRESTOMP into the second light tube and Alex looks like he’s bleeding from the mouth now. Firewoman quickly slams her full weight into Alexander’s back and she’s going after the mask once again. Darling is in rough shape, but out of instinct he quickly rolls over so Fire has him in a full mount and she’s still going after the mask. Alex is fighting as much as he can, but Fire has him weakened and in a rough position and she’s able to get her hand under the mask and she’s using that piece of glass again and you can tell she is just carving Alex up under that mask. It looks like she finally decides she’s done enough damage and she drags him to the center of the ring and lifts him up…VOODOO DROP and Fire quickly rolls him over and makes the cover…

Thr…No, Alex barely gets his shoulder up and Fire seems to smile even though she didn’t win. It looks like she realized she has the chance to do more damage now. She lifts Alex up once again and hits another scoop slam near the corner…BEST FIRESAULT EVER, NOOO, Darling gets his knees up and Fire’s ribs crash into them and she starts coughing blood. The ref waves hit off saying that’s not enough to make Alex eligible. Alex is slow to get to his feet and Fire meets him at the same time and she goes for a wild haymaker that Alex blocks and he catches Fire’s arms and he twists around and he nails Fire with an UNPRETTIER. Alex is still shaking the cobwebs out and we can see blood dripping down his face from under the mask. He’s slow to make it over to Fire and she catches him coming in and flings him to the outside and Alex looks like he crashes hard into the barricade. Fire gets back to her feet and she notices Alex slowly getting to his feet and she hits the far ropes….SPACE FLYING TIGER DROP…NOOOOO, Alex catches her mid-move and lifts her up and quickly gets locks her arm…STYLES CLASH on the floor and both competitors are down for the moment.
It takes Alex a few seconds to finally get back to his feet and now he’s searching under the ring and he finds two bags and he slides them into the ring before going to grab Firewoman. He takes her and slams her kidney first against the apron a few times and Fire coughs up a little more blood and yet still nothing stating Alex is eligible to win. So he slides her back into the ring near the corner and he climbs to the top turnbuckle before coming down hard with a knee right across Fire’s ribs. She is in excruciating pain and it’s obvious as you see on her face. Alex takes the two bags and opens them in the center of the ring, the first bag is full of thumbtacks and he lays them out in a nice circle before opening the second bag and pouring that bag which is full of glass in the middle of that circle. The blood is just pouring out of Alexander’s mask now but it isn’t affecting him as he grabs those last two light tubes that Fire had in the ring and he waits until Fire gets to her feet…SMASH across the head and we see Firewoman’s scar on her forehead open up, but that isn’t enough for Alex as he takes the second tube and SMASHES that across the scar and now Fire is dripping blood.
Fire is staggered but once the blood drips down into her mouth it seems light a figurative fuse within her and she explodes out of the corner with a Thesz Press and starts firing punches on Alex once again, but he’s blocking them and he rotates his hips and pins Fire down…

Firewoman kicks out and kips up to her feet just as Alex gets up as well. Fire charges, but Darling sidesteps and catches Fire coming in with a drop toe-hold and Fire crashes into the middle turnbuckle. She’s in perfect position as Alex gets behind her and locks the legs…MOTHERFUCKING CURBSTOMP and throughout the arena, you can hear Alex yell, “That’s how it’s done.” AD lifts Fire up by the hair and picks her up as he moves back towards the glass and thumbtacks, but Fire kicks away at Alex and drops down behind him and kicks him in the stomach as he turns around…DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT right into the thumbtacks and both competitors scream out in pain as that hit both of them hard. The tacks are digging into Fire’s back and you can tell the glass and tacks got through Alex’s mask as the blood is really pouring out of his mask. Fire slowly rolls Darling over and makes the cover…

Th…No. Alex is able to get a shoulder up. Fire’s head drops as it looks like this match has taken a lot out of her already, but she isn’t giving up as she rolls Alex over onto his stomach and she tries to lock in the WALLS OF JERICHO, but Alex powers out of it and sends Fire into the corner. Alex slowly gets to his feet as he’s trying to avoid the glass and tacks. Fire notices him taking his time and it looks like she’s setting him up for something and she charges. Alex sidesteps and gets behind Fire as she stops just short of running over the tacks, but it puts her in a bad position as Alex in a burst of speed we haven’t seen in a while lifts her up on his shoulders…he locks the hand across her throat…he isn’t, he can’t, he does…DARLING DRIVER on the tacks and glass and the crowd goes ballistic…OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD. Alex fights through the pain and he gets back to his feet and he jumps over to the turnbuckle and he hops up to the top…he can’t be serious…OH MY GOD once again, he is…DARK DARLING RISING connects and he slammed hard into Fire. She can’t move as Alex hooks the leg…

“WINNER” in 17:13 is Alexander Darling.
Firewoman looks like a beaten and bloody mess as she is dripping blood and just looks to be in bad, bad shape. The ref finally gets Alex out of the pile in the center of the ring and he raises his hand as the winner of the match but Alex is focused on the center of the ring where medics are scrambling in to check on Firewoman. Alex slowly drops down to a knee and he peels the mask off his face for the first time in months and he crawls over to Fire just as she coughs up a massive amount of blood. Alex looks shell-shocked as to what is happening and he tries to wipe the blood off Fire’s face but the medics push him out of the way as they work on her. Not that he’s in good shape or anything as he is accumulating a lot of blood around him as it drips out of his arm and forehead. The medics try to check on him but he pushes them back towards Fire and he seems to be yelling to make sure she’s okay. He slowly rolls out of the ring and drops the mask as he backtracks up the ramp. Shockingly right now it looks like he lost the match, but that’s not the case as he picks up the win, but at what cost…at what cost.
