OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Kona, Hawaii
RAVENNA BLUE & STAN FULTON vs. BRYCE LARSON & ERIC O’MACStan Fulton and Ravenna Blue are announced first, and they make their way to the ring focused on the task ahead. Eric O'Macs music hits next, but Bryce Larson comes out alone. Larson looks just as confused as everyone else, and checks behind the curtains one more time before heading down to the ring alone. As Fulton and Ravenna are focused on this, Eric slides into the ring on the opposite side, having snuck in from the crowd. Eric slams Blue in the back of the head with a clubbing blow, and she drops hard. Fulton turns around, but Eric has slid out of the ring and has joined Larson. Larson throws Eric a "what the hell?", and Eric motions for Bryce to start the match. Larson slides in and almost immediately eats an Avalanche from a charging Fulton.
The ref calls for the bell, and the match is officially underway. Fulton sends Larson to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a military press slam. Fulton attempts to follow up with a senton splash, but Bryce moves. Larson attempts to follow up with two quick kicks as Fulton is getting to his knees. Fulton blocks the first and catches the second. Fulton gets to his feet still holding Larson's leg, but Bryce responds with a massive enziguri that rocks the big man. Fulton stumbles towards the ropes, and Eric reaches in popping him with a sucker punch. As Fulton turns back towards the center, Larson comes in with a crossbody attempt, Fulton catches him and plants him with a powerslam. This may have just been on instinct however, as Fulton does not attempt a pin.
Fulton stands and is still staggered from the earlier enziguri, he heads over towards the outstretched arm of a recovered Ravenna Blue. Blue is so eager to get in, she doesn't notice Eric behind her until he pulls her off the apron. Eric goes for a clothesline, but Blue ducks under, and leaps back to the Apron making the tag. Ravenna comes into the ring, and finds Larson ready for her. The two lockup and spend the next several minutes exchanging various chain wrestling holds. Larson gains a momentary advantage and sends Blue to the ropes. A waiting Eric pulls down the top rope sending her tumbling to the floor. A recovered Fulton has had enough of Eric and charges over and the two begin exchanging blows.
In the ring a frustrated Larson bounces off the ropes and launches into them with a flipover plancha. Everyone is down, and the ref begins the count. Ravenna recovers first and slides into the ring. Eric is up and slides in next, the Ref tries to tell him he's not the legal man, but Eric ignores him and clotheslines Blue down. Fulton sees this and slides in and begins brawling with Eric. The ref tries to separate them, but Eric and Fulton simultaneously push him down. Larson is in and tries to pull them apart as well, but receives the same. The ref gives up and calls for the bell.
WINNER – No Contest in 7:09
Larson and Ravenna are able to pull Fulton and Eric apart, and Larson drags Eric out of the ring and up the ramp as Ravenna attempts to calm Stan down.
DAVIN MORELAND & CHRIS EVANS vs. MATT FOLZ & CONCRETE TGFolz and Crete are out first to the Intercontinental Champion's music. They get a reasonable response, although the crowd is a little confused as to why these two are teaming. Regardless, they're in full cheering mode by the time Crete stops pandering to the kids and climbs into the ring. “Extreme Ways” fires up, and the former Intercontinental Champion Chris Evans makes his way down the ramp. He keeps looking behind him, probably for his partner, but instead accepts the mixed reaction from the crowd. Evans is taking his sweet-ass time getting to the ring, until finally Your World Champion Davin Moreland does indeed appear at the top of the ramp. There's lots of booing, there's cheering, and all of it is fucking loud. For a change, Davin does zero pandering and zero crowd interaction. Huh. He makes his way to the ring with HHH-level alacrity, so that 10 minutes later he's near the ring. He uses the stairs instead of jumping in as usual. Davin ducks through the ropes and makes a slow beeline for Concrete TG, who is out on the apron. Folz was going to start the match. Crete's trying to figure out what the hell Davin is doing, and eats a Stun Gun on the top rope for his trouble. Davin rolls out and starts to beat away on Crete, but Fall River's Own Referee Angelo Barros can't really start the match until 2 people are in the ring. As he explains this to Folz, Evans drills him with a sweet dropkick in the back of the head. That makes 2, and Barros calls for the bell...WE'RE UNDERWAY!
Evans continues his assault on the Intercontinental Champion with lots of fun knee drops and elbow drops that look pretty painful. Then he has to go fuck it up with a Single-Leg Boston Crab. Folz sells it like the champ he is, but we all know what's coming. Back outside the ring, Davin has not let up in his relentless beating of the former World Champion. The camera feed cuts to Davin, who has Crete by the ponytail, and is using it to sling Crete's head into the STEEL POST, and there's a trace of blood coming out from under his mask. Davin hits a Double Underhook DDT on the STEEL STEPS, and then takes the stairs apart. What the fuck? To the ring, and, predictably, Folz has escaped the horrible Single-Leg Boston Crab, and has Evans in some sort of Double Chickenwing hold. Folz seems to summon some strength from somewhere, and hold Evans as he stands up. He pushes Evans up and hits an...Implant Buster? Ok, that'll work. Folz covers, that gets 2. Instead of bitching, Folz immediately goes into a Cross-Arm Breaker, and Evans has to get to the ropes to break the hold. Suddenly, the crowd collectively gasps.
We head back outside the ring, and see, apparently, the second iteration of “Raise the Steps over your head, then throw them on Crete's ankle on top of the other stairs as hard as possible”. This is tough to watch, and the little kids start crying. Just for effect, Davin puts Crete's presumably very injured ankle into an Ankle Lock with a leg lace. Dick. In the ring, Folz maintains complete control, using his slight power advantage very well, hitting Evans with some big Suplexes before locking in painful restholds and submissions. Evans looks like he's about had the proverbial radish as Folz pulls him up to put him away. He sees Davin's attack out of the corner of his eye, and drops Evans. He starts in a full sprint, and looks to hit some sort of plancha on Davin, but somehow, someway, Davin grabs Folz in mid-air. REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER on the Steel Steps! Oohs and Aahs turn to lots of boos, as they see Davin start stomping away on the Intercontinental Champion, like he's squashing a grape on the steps. Barros has a count, and Evans does some smart veteran stuff, like asking Barros what time it is and things like that, trying to buy time. Eventually, the count reaches 8, and Evans heads out to try to talk some sense into Davin. He taps Davin on the shoulder, and Spinebuster on the Steel Steps! Evans is more in shock than in pain, as Davin drags Crete up the ramp, hits a Canadian Destroyer, and drags Crete further up the ramp.
Evans is able to collect himself, and pull what's left of Folz into the ring. He pulls the champ to the middle of the ring, and decides to go all Canada and lock Folz in a Sharpshooter! It's a nice one. Barros calls for the bell. It's unclear as to whether or not Folz tapped or if the match was stopped.
WINNER in 14:23...Chris Evans and Davin Moreland!
Seeing Folz in bad shape, both Barros and Evans are calling for paramedics, but they're currently being held up by Davin, who has Crete Goozled, and looking to goozle someone else. Davin un-goozles, then forces Crete to goozle himself...and...DARLING DRIVER OFF THE RAMP INTO CONVENIENTLY PLACED SMOKING AND SPARKING ELECTRONICS! And Davin leaps into the pit to go after Crete more. And more. Finally, it's lots of yelling from Evans that pulls Davin back up to the ramp, and Evans continues to lay into Davin all the way to the back. Davin ignores him, and the vacant stare is overused, especially in OOWF, but Davin's got one, with a half-smirk on his face.
MOOSEHEAD JACK & STANK vs. TEXPRESS vs. DRINK & DESTROY – Winners Get a Tag Team Title ShotMoosehead Jack and Stank are announced first and the crowd boos. Moose laughs at the fans booing him and slumps in the corner, Stank stands looking menacing. Drink and Destroy are announced next and the crowd roars their approval as they come to the ring through the crowd. Taylor and Jack slide into the ring and glare at Stank and Moose, but they move to the corner without incident. Finally, Texpress is announced and they make their way to the ring to the roar of the crowd. Chad and Zane step into the ring and Chad walks up to Moose and glares at him, Moose just laughs. Zane pulls his partner across the ring, Moose rolls out of the ring to the floor. Zane, Stank and Jack look like they will be starting things out, who else has a feeling that this match is going to be a total clusterfuck?
Stank and Jack move to lock up, Stank nails him with a low blow, then charges across the ring and nearly cuts Zane in half with a SPEAR! The two of them fall out of the ring to the floor. At the same time, Moose races around the ring and grabs Chad and pulls him off the apron and hammers him with punches to the face. Moose tries to whip Chad into the guardrail, but Chad reverses it and Moose slams into the steel back first. Chad charges in and catches Moose with a high knee to the forehead sending him over the guard rail to the floor. Chad hops the guardrail and puts the boots to Moose to the cheers of the crowd. Stank grabs Zane by the head and slams him face first into the announce table, then picks up a monitor and BLASTS him upside the head with it. Stank rolls Zane onto the table and climbs up after him and lifts him for a STANK-U! Chad hops onto the guardrail and leaps, catching Stank on the knee with a drop kick sending he and Zane crashing through the table. Moose reaches over the guardrail and grabs Chad and bends him across the steel and slams his forearm across Chad’s chest.
Inside the ring, Danny Taylor starts to go to the outside, but Jack stops him and shakes his head. Danny shoots him a look, then seems to understand and nods his head. They watch as the referee gets to ten, counting both teams out!
WINNERS via countout in 2:09 – Drink & Destroy
Officials race from the back and separate Moose, Stank, Chad and Zane. Chad is yelling at Moose to bring the fight, but Moose just laughs at him and yells I TOLD YOU over and over. Stank looks pleased, if not a little banged up from crashing through the table. The chaos is finally under control and the two teams are herded to the back. Drink and Destroy remains in the ring, they shrug, then celebrate their newly won title shot with the fans.
TRINITY vs. ALEXANDER DARLING, LD WILLIAMS & A MYSTERY PARTNERThe following match will not be for the faint of heart as we can guarantee blood will be spilt as we get one of the first battles in the newly established war between Alexander Darling and Trinity. As the crowd prepares for the upcoming match, a faint white glow begins to appear and get brighter in the entrance way and we hear “I know who you are…the leader of lost souls.” Ecosystem, Tytan, and Firewoman appear in their new pure white garb and for the first time we see that Firewoman is wearing a mask tonight. This Ecosystem is surely playing the game based on Alex saying he’d be able to read Fire’s eyes and now he’s not giving him the chance to. The boos rain down on Trinity as they make their way down and into the ring; Firewoman and Ecosystem holding hands the entire way as Tytan walks a step ahead with Diana Podvod at his side. Tytan gets into the ring and stares down the entranceway as Ecosystem takes Firewoman into the corner and seems to be trying to keep her relaxed and focused. The focus changes from those on the ring to the entrance when LD Williams’ music hits and he steps out onto the ramp and cranks his neck as he prepares for the upcoming battle. A few moments later LD steps to the side and Trapt’s “Headstrong” begins to play and Alexander Darling appears at LD’s side and stares down into the ring but can’t get a good look at Fire as Tytan and Eco are blocking his line of sight. LD and Alex share a look and charge towards the ring and both slide under the bottom rope as Trinity bails to the floor and circles around the ring until their back is to the entrance. Referee Junior Hale is trying to get Trinity into the ring to start the match and it looks like we’re going to go two-on-three when the lights in the arena go out. The crowd livens up even more as it does. “Turn the Page” by Metallica starts to play over the speakers. As the song picks up, two large columns of fire burst up from the stage. On the Jumbotron a video of a raven flying in front of a crescent moon begins to play. A familiar figure begins to rise through the stage as the crowd gets even louder.
Here I am…As Poe, with his head covered by his bloody towel, rises from the stage, we see Selena kneeling in front of him with her arms outstretched and she’s trying very hard to contain herself. The crowd is going berserk. They start to make their way to the ring. Selena skips ahead, slapping fans hands and reaches the ring ahead of Poe and his slow methodical walk. Selena rolls under the bottom rope.
But you just want to explode…Selena leans back nearly all the way on her knees and lets out a loud, guttural scream (ala Daffney) as Poe climbs the steps and climbs over the top rope. Poe bumps fists with LD Williams and stares at Alexander Darling. They both turn their heads towards the Trinity at the same time as Poe rips the towel off his head and tosses it to Selena, who catches it and rolls out of the ring.
Tytan looks furious to see his former partner, Ecosystem doesn’t look much happier to see one of his most hated enemies, and while we can’t see Firewoman’s expressions one can assume they are not good as the history between her and Poe is long and complex.
Alex makes the first move once Trinity gets back into the ring and he goes right towards Fire and tries to be talking to her but before he can even get more than a few words in edgewise, Tytan damn near SPEARS him out of his shoes and we are underway as Eco and Poe start trading blows and before LD can try and talk to Fire, she starts unloading on him as well and we have a pier six brawl. Tytan tosses Alex to the outside and we get a typical ringside brawl between the two with Tytan looking to take Alex out of the match early as he sends him crashing into the steel ring steps. Tytan charges and goes for a running boot, but Alex ducks under and grabs Tytan’s leg…DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP onto the steps and now Tytan is hobbling around the outside and he doesn’t see Alex coming up from behind and slamming his head into the ringpost. And we have our first crimson mask of the match already.
Alexander looks to stay on the attack on the outside, but before he can do anything Ecosystem is sliding out to meet Alex and they start trading punches. Poe and LD are double-teaming Fire in the ring before Hale finally gets Poe onto the apron and since we have one from each team in the ring we can get this match legally started. LD lifts Fire up for a scoop slam but she knees LD in the head and winds up on her feet she follows up with a STEP-UP ENZUIGURI that takes LD off his feet. Fire turns to her corner and sees Eco getting onto the apron and Alexander a bloody mess on the floor near a discarded steel chair. Firewoman reaches out and tags in Eco and we get LD playing face-in-peril for this portion of the match. Fire and Eco trade quick tags for a little bit before Tytan finally gets back to his feet and rejoins the match as he tags in and hits Williams with a RUNNING POWER SLAM and goes for the cover…

2…
No, LD is able to kick out. And the match continues like that for a few more minutes as Trinity really works over LD but can only get two counts. Finally, LD is able to hit a dropkick on Eco that sends him crashing into the corner and the EXTREMELY hot tag is made to Poe and this crowd here in one of his hometowns goes ballistic. Poe with a clothesline to Eco. He catches Tytan coming in with a slam and then lifts a charging Fire high above his head with a GORILLA PRESS SLAM before casually dropping her back down to the mat. Poe hits the ropes and looks to hit a splash on Fire, but Eco’s back and hits Poe with a basement dropkick taking him off his feet. Poe quickly fights back to his feet and starts slugging it out with Eco once again. The power advantage for Poe quickly takes Eco down. Poe goes to hit the ropes but he’s tripped up on the outside by Diana Podvod. Poe glares down at Podvod for a moment before he sees Selena making her way over to confront Diana. Poe is trying to tell Selena to stay away but before he can do anything, Eco attacks Poe from behind and nails him with a LUNGBLOWER. Eco jumps on Poe’s back and starts with some clubbing blows to his back as he stares to the outside where Selena and Podvod are now shoving one another until Podvod pulls back and unleashes a vicious slap that sends Selena’s head snapping. Poe is about to go nuts in the ring when he sees a blur on the apron and sees Alexander flying off the apron and killing Podvod dead with a YAKUZA KICK. Tytan is rushing over to get to Alex, but he’s cut off by LD Williams and a visibly angry Alex is able to lift Podvod up over his head and turns towards the Bulgarian Announce Table…CRUCIFIX BOMB through the table and Podvod is done.
Back inside the ring both Poe and Eco look a little shocked at the carnage on the outside as security and medical personnel help keep the peace and escort Diana Podvod to the back. The next 15 minutes of the match includes a ton of highspots included everyone’s big moves. The one thing we notice for sure is that every time Fire is in the ring and a tag is made on the other team to Alex, Eco and Tytan quickly enter the ring and make sure Fire tags out so as not to face Alex. We get a ton of near falls especially after Poe hits a HIEROGLYPH on Fire or Fire hits the SNAP DOUBLE-ARM DDT on LD. More two counts when LD connects with the TRIPLE GERMAN SUPLEXES on Tytan or Eco hits a GO 2 SLEEP on Alexander. But nothing is able to put anyone away even after Tytan RELEASES THE KRAKEN on Poe or Alex nails Eco with a BRAINBUSTER.
After the match goes back-and-forth, forth-and-back and all 6 people are down and battered and beaten we finally get to the last portion of the match. Slowly, the first two that get back to their feet are a bloody Alexander Darling and a bruised Firewoman. It looks like we’re going to get the confrontation we’ve been waiting for but as it’s about to happen, LD and Eco are staggering to their feet as well…SUPERKICK on LD by Fire; SUPERKICK on Eco by Alex. Just as Fire and Alex are about to turn back to one another, Alex is spun inside out by a clothesline from Tytan and goes flying all the way to the floor. Tytan follows and those two continue their hated brawl from earlier with both bleeding buckets. You can almost see that Fire looks conflicted inside the ring, but it doesn’t matter when Poe spins her around and we can tell he’s saying something, but the words aren’t audible to the mics and Fire just shakes her head. Poe with the Irish whip on Fire but she holds onto the ropes and quickly bails to the floor where LD meets her and they start fighting with everything they have.
Back to the ring and Eco comes up from behind on Poe and looks to go for the ENDGAME but Poe holds onto the ropes and Eco slips off Poe’s back. He goes for another LUNGBLOWER but again Poe holds onto the ropes and just as Eco gets back to his feet Poe explodes off the ropes and damn near takes Eco’s head off the HIEROGLYPH. Poe is quick on the attack as he lifts Eco up high in the air…CRUCIFIXION and Poe follows up with the cover…

3!!!
As soon as the bell rings, Tytan disengages from Alex and slides into the ring and drags Eco to the floor. They meet Fire on the ramp and quickly help Eco to the back as Alexander slides into the ring and stares at Fire as she backs away and quickly turns around and walks to the back. LD and Poe get their hands raised but Alex just continues to stare up the ramp. He turns and nods to his two partners in appreciation before dropping the mat and sliding out of the ring and slowly makes his way to the back shaking his head. LD shakes Poe’s hand and gives him a pat on the back before following Alexander’s lead and giving Poe the moment in the ring. Selena joins him and the crowd is going nuts…
WINNERS in 33:17…Alexander Darling, LD Williams, and POE!!!

BOARDWALK SAINTS vs. THE FLYIN HAWAIIANS – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchNoelani leads the former champions to the ring first, coming through the crowd waving the Hawaiian flag, to an explosion of cheers. Kai and Aina acknowledge the reaction with uncharacteristic smiles and take a few minutes celebrating with the hometown fans before they hop the guardrail and climb into the ring, staring intently up the aisle. OOWF Tag Team Champions The Boardwalk Saints step onto the stage and hold their belts high, but receive a mixed reaction, with the boos almost outweighing the cheers. Alexis Darling and D.H. Magnusson make their way to the ring and hand the belts to referee Angelo Barros, who gives the teams their instructions and calls for the bell. After a brief staredown, Kai and DH head to their corners, and we’re underway.
Kai and Alexis circle. Alexis moves in to lock up, but Kai greets her with a solid palm strike to the face. Alexis stumbles back a step, shaking her head to clear it. She turns back to Kai as the shock on her face turns to anger. She lunges into a lock up and drives a knee into Kai’s gut. She stands him up with a European uppercut and throws a dropkick, but Kai slaps it aside. Kai grabs a front facelock as Alexis tries to get up, and beals her into the corner and makes the tag. The Hawai’ians send Alexis to the ropes and Kai moves forward, dropping to, one knee and doubling her over with a chop to the stomach. Aina sprints across the ring , springs straight up off of Kai’s back and comes down driving a forearm into the back of Alexis’ head. He foregoes the cover and suplexes her into the corner, and then sits her up and makes the tag. He slams a kick into her back as Kai kicks her in the chest. DH starts in to help his partner, but Barros cuts him off. The Hawai’ians take advantage as Aina drags Alexis to her feet and whips her toward Kai, who elevates and drops her face first on the top turnbuckle. Kai makes a nonchalant cover, and Alexis rolls a shoulder at two.

Alexis rolls to her knees and reaches out, but Kai dives on her with a double axe handle before she can make the tag. She rolls to her feet and starts throwing kicks at him, rolling him off of DH and toward the ropes. Aina rolls under the ropes and turns, grabbing Alexis and yanking her off her feet. Aina drags DH to his feet and sends him into the corner. He hits a stinger splash and makes the tag to Kai at the same time. The Hawai’ians lift DH onto the turnbuckles and climb up after him. She sees him coming and drives a shoulder into his midsection and then grabs his head and drops off the apron, clotheslining him on the top rope. She dives into the ring just in time to break up the count.
Barros orders Alexis to her corner, but Kai lunges after her and pummels her to the mat. While Barros tries to separate them, DH gets slowly to his feet. He spins Kai around and sends him to the ropes, doubling him over with a kick and dropping him with a DDT. He gets painfully up and up and limbs toward his corner. Alexis gets there before him and waits for the tag, but DH realizes she not in much better shape than he is and turns around - right into a sick tandem super kick from the Hawai’ians. DH collapses back into the corner pretty much out cold, and Alexis slaps him on the shoulder, tagging in to the match. She steps into the ring and faces off against the Hawai’ians, turning her attention from one to the other. Barros steps in and sends Aina to the corner. Kai turns to argue, and Alexis launches herself at him. She knocks the wind out of him with a shoulder to the gut, and then stands him up with a knee to the face. She backs him to the ropes with chops and sends him across the ring. She leaps into the air for a spinning kick, but she’s a half-step slow and Kai snags her out of the air and drives her to the mat. He drags her to her feet and slings her into the corner. He follows her in with a flying forearm and makes the tag. Kai drags Alexis out of the corner and tosses her into the air as Aina springs off the top rope - MOLOKA’I COCKTAIL! Aina drives Alexis to the mat and rolls her up, hooking both legs, and Kai sprints toward the corner and nails DH in the face with a hesitation dropkick as Barros counts One…Two…Three.
