OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Four Roads Junction, St, Lucia
FIREWOMAN vs. MAI MUYOFire and Mai lock up and Mai takes the early advantage. Fire initially looks a little hesitant, waiting for cheating or something, I mean, she IS used to facing Moose and Eco, so it’s kind of understandable. After a few close pin attempts, Fire relaxes and takes control of the match. She uses her experience to keep Mai grounded, but Mai keeps fighting back. Mai sets Fire up for the ENDGAME, but Fire slips free and spins Mai around and catches her with the VOODOO DROP for a two count. Fire pulls Mai to her feet and whips her into the corner, Mai scales the ropes and tries a moonsault, but Fire ducks it and charges into the corner herself. When Mai crashes and burns, Fire scales the turnbuckle and hits the BEST FIRESAULT EVER! She covers, hooking the leg hard and gets the three count with Mai rolling her shoulder just a fraction of a second too late.
WINNER in 10:04 – Firewoman
The bell barely rings when Moose and Eco storm the ring and hammer Fire with punches and kicks. To everyone’s surprise Mai gets to her feet and catches Moose with a kick to the side of the head that sends him out of the ring to the floor. Fire fights back on Eco and catches him knee to the gut and tries to lift him for a WIDOWS PEAK, but Eco slips free and rolls to the outside of the ring. Fire is in a rage and turns around and grabs Mai and sets her up for a PILEDRIVER, but then seems to snap out of it and lets Mai go. Mai looks at Fire, Fire stares back. After a few more moments of intense staredown, Fire reaches out and shakes hands with Mai, much to Moose and Eco’s disgust.
SAINTS OF SINNERS vs. EL LOBO SANGRIENTO & ZANE MYERSThe Saints climb back into the ring and wait for Lobo and Zane. As soon as they enter the ring, the Saints attack. Lobo and Zane fight back and send Moose and Eco back to the floor. Moose and Eco climb back, and it actually turns into a GASP! wrestling match! Lobo and Zane mesh well and keep the Saints in their half of the ring. Moose and Eco fight back by cheating liberally. The match breaks down and the four men brawl around the ring. Lobo and Moose fight on the outside, Lobo charges at Moose, but Moose moves and shoves Lobo shoulder first into the guardrail. Inside the ring, Zane has Eco in a military press, but Moose chop blocks him from behind. Moose grabs Zane and Eco heads to the top rope, they hit a SPIKE PILEDRIVER on Zane! Eco covers (putting his feet on the ropes for good measure) and gets the three count.
WINNERS in 15:55 – The Saints of Sinners
ALEXANDER DARLING vs. ATTITUDE ADJUSTERAA is announced and makes his way to the ring with the OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion #Heel Cardboard Cutout Johnny Adrenaline. AA props him up in the corner and takes a knee listening intently. Moose and Eco take a seat at ringside and wait for Alex to come to the ring. The referee announces Alex, and Alex’s music plays………but nothing. He announces him a second time…….and nothing again. Officials make their way to ringside and talk to the referee, he starts a ten count, but Alex never shows up. After ten seconds, the referee counts Alex out and raises AA’s arm in victory.
WINNER in :10 – Attitude Adjuster
AA celebrates with the OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion #Heel Cardboard Cutout Johnny Adrenaline like he just won the world title. They do a victory lap, then head up the ramp, AA just ELATED with his win. Moose and Eco laugh maniacally then make their way to the back as well.
OOWF Invitational – Round 2CHRIS EVANS vs. GHOSTHEADGhosthead gives Evans all he can handle, keeping up with the OOWF Intercontinental champion for over twenty minutes. The end comes when Ghosthead tries to walk the ropes, Evans dropkicks the top rope crocthing Ghost. Evans grabs him from the top and PLANTS him with a BRAINBUSTER, then lifts him up and hits the WAY OF THE FUTURE for the three count.
WINNER in 20:22 – Chris Evans
MATT FOLZ vs. CROWINGFolz and Crowing light into one another. Folz does his best to keep the advantage, but Crowing uses his veteran experience to stay one step ahead of Folz. The match degenerates into a slugfest several times, Folz nearly gets the win with a bridging German suplex, but Crowing kicks out at two. Folz tries an OLYMPIC SLAM, but Crowing holds on and takes him to the mat with a crucifix and gets the one, two, THREE! Folz kicks out just a little too late.
WINNER in 15:16 – Crowing
After the match, Folz goes after Crowing, but he slips out of the ring just in time. Crowing holds up one finger, one New Guard down, five to go.
AINA vs. LD WILLIAMSLD comes to the ring using “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” again as a tribute to Jack. As soon as Aina makes it into the ring, LD attacks and the brawl is on. They fight in and around the ring, and hit one another with anything not nailed down. When the action DOES shift into the ring, LD tries a superplex, but Aina holds on and shoves LD to the mat. He tries a SUPERFLY SPLASH, but LD rolls out of the way. He grabs a stunned Aina and delivers the CHOMP! He covers and gets the three count to advance in the Invitational.
WINNER in 17:08 – LD Williams
CHAD MADISON vs. STANKMuch different tone from out last match. Both men are in the ring, they share a handshake before the bell. The match is very back and forth early on, Stank tries to use his power to get an advantage, but Chad counters it with his speed. Chad gets several near falls, and one especially close near fall after a superkick followed by a flying leg drop. Stank fights back and thinks he has it won after a STANK-U, but Chad rolls his shoulder. Chad fights back some more and tries a flying Hurracarana, but Stank catches him and DRIVES him to the mat with a TRIPLE POWERBOMB! On the last one, Stank folds Chad in half and gets the three count.
WINNER in 22:29 – Stank
JP SPARXX vs. DANNY TAYLORSparxx tries to play head games with Danny, but Danny remains stoic in the middle of the ring. Sparxx dances around and tries to get Danny to fight him, but Danny remains still. Finally Sparxx gets a little too close to him and Danny UNLEASHES HELL! Taylor counters everything Sparxx throws at him, beating him from pillar to post, but never taking a short cut. Sparxx tries to bail out of the ring, but Danny follows him and throws him back into the ring. Finally Sparxx has had enough. Bloody and beaten, he bails out of the ring and heads up the ramp, happy to live to defend his Onslaught title another day. The referee makes the ten count and Danny advances.
WINNER by count out in 13:39 – Danny Taylor
RABBIT MASK vs. HONCHO WILLIAMSRabbit and Honcho lock up, and we get a great back and forth onslaught style match. Both wrestlers stay well within the rules, and the crowd cheers them both on loudly. Honcho uses his power advantage to hit some big moves on Rabbit, most notably a top rope JACKHAMMER, but he can’t keep Rabbit down. Rabbit fights back and gets in some high octane moves, all intended to ground Honcho so he can wear him down with submissions. The end comes when Rabbit misses a charge into the corner and Honcho lines him up for the THUNDERBOLT, but Rabbit ducks it, sweeps Honcho’s leg and quickly traps him in the CATTLE MUTILATION! They are right in the middle of the ring, and Honcho has no choice, he taps out.
WINNER in 19:46 – Rabbit Mask
After the match, Honcho raises Rabbit’s arm in victory and the two share a handshake as the crowd roars their approval.
THE KAI vs. PSYKLEPsykle asks that this be contested under Onslaught rules. The Kai’s response is less than positive, so the match begins. Back and forth action, The Kai shows his agility by leaping over the towering Psykle. The Kai goes for a CHOKESLAM but Psykle powers out of it with elbows to the side of the head, then scoops him up on his shoulder and hits a thunderous POWERSLAM! The Kai fights back and heads to the top rope and tries a cross body block, but Psykle catches him and sets him back on the top rope and sets up for the PSYCHO DRIVER, but the Kai rakes his eyes and hops off the ropes, then connects with a low blow right in front of the referee. The referee immediately calls for the bell while The Kai halfheartedly argues it before laughing and heading to the back.
WINNER by disqualification in 11:30 – Psykle
RICKY SOARING EAGLE vs. DAVIN MORELANDMoreland has the experience advantage and uses it to keep Soaring Eagle grounded and frustrated. Davin taunts Soaring Eagle by reversing everything he tries. You can see Ricky struggling to control his temper, but he manages to keep it in check and fights back. Soaring Eagle rocks Davin with a series of clotheslines, then pulls him up and hits a PILEDRIVER for a two count! Soaring Eagle is annoyed that that wasn’t a three count and argues with the referee. When he turns around, Davin grabs him for a REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER but Soaring Eagle grabs him and reverses that into a DRAGON SUPLEX! Soaring Eagle bridges hard and gets the one, two, THREE! What an upset!
WINNER in 23:45 – Ricky Soaring Eagle
STAN FULTON vs. COMRADE SHARKOFF – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchFulton attacks Sharkoff before the bell, and this is an out of control brawl right from the start. Fulton is clearly still annoyed about that loss in the non-title chain match, and soon enough, Sharkoff is a bloody mess. Fulton rolls him into the ring to administer more punishment, but Sharkoff is not going to go quietly. Sharkoff fights back and gets the champ down and gets several two counts. Sharkoff climbs to the top rope and hits a flying knee drop for a two count that Fulton BARELY kicked out of . Sharkoff pulls Fulton to his feet and sends him into the corner, but Fulton reverses it and follows him in with a devastating AVALANCHE! Sharkoff staggers out of the corner Fulton scoops him up and POWERSLAMS him on the mat, then climbs to the middle rope and delivers TWO big splashes! This match is all but over. Fulton covers casually, but what the hell? Sharkoff KICKS OUT! He fights to his feet and peppers Fulton with several shots to the head, but his rally is cut short when he bounds off the ropes and runs right into a big boot from Fulton. Stan bounces off the ropes and hits the DROPLINE, covers, and gets the three count.
WINNER in 27:19 and STILL OOWF World Heavyweight Champion – Stan Fulton
Matt Folz makes his way to the ring and rolls Sharkoff back into the ring and it looks like they are going to do to Sharkoff what the New Guard did to Jack two weeks ago. Sharkoff is not having any of this though, he grabs his chain from the corner and swings it wildly above his head, Bruiser Brody style and the New Guard flee the ring. We close with a bloody battered Comrade Sharkoff yelling in Russian for Folz and Fulton to get back into the ring and stop being cowardly American pig-dogs.
