OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Monominto, Manitoba
Russ: Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen to Midweek Mayhem, live from Monominto, Manitoba, Canada. We are just eleven days away from Hell On Earth, As always I'm joined by former ECW Champion Razz.
Razz: The events leading up to this years premiere OOWF Event are so far shaping up to be totally off da chain!
Russ: Right now, time for Trios action, with a little more heated action within one of the teams.
Razz: Last week a confrontation erupted between the Onslaught Champion Ghosthead and the manager of Power and Glory, Wyatt Cox.
Russ: Ghosthead apparently not comfortable working with the rookie team, bluntly saying that not only would he not work out with them, to stay out of his way.
Razz: And for the first time I can remember here in the OOWF, someone laid their hands on Wyatt Cox and the twins didn't retaliate.
Russ: Well, would you?
Razz: I'll be honest, Ghosthead is one scary dude. I wouldn't wanna be on his bad side.
Russ: On the other side, the Darlings join forces with The Kai, managed by the daughter of Poe, A'isha al-Tikriti.
Razz: Former allies turn to foes and now to allies again. Can the Darlings trust the Kai after the bad blood of the past year?
Russ: It's a volatile combination tonight, Trios action, let's go to the ring...
THE DARLINGS & THE KAI vs. GHOSTHEAD & POWER & GLORYSevendust's “My Ruin” brings the Onslaught Champion Ghosthead to the ring followed by Shannon. As the Death Knell enters the ring he hands his Onslaught Championship belt to the referee and perches atop the turnbuckle and Shannon takes a seat at ringside.
Two Steps From Hell's “Fortress of Seduction” brings the entourage of Power and Glory to ringside. They are led to the ring on their steel chains by their father Wyatt Cox and their trainer Kate Bannister. Wyatt and Kate remain outside the ring and pay their partner no mind as the girls stand in front of him warming up.
The instrumental version of “Sail” brings Alexander and Alexis Darling to the ring. Alex has his eyes locked on Glory while Alexis is focused on Power. There's no love lost between these twins.
Finally Konshens “Gal A Bubble” brings out the Kai accompanied by A'isha al-Tikriti finishes the ring entrances and Fire can finally stop being upset.
Referee Junior Hale calls for the bell and after considerable discussion Alexis and Glory start out for their teams. A fairly crisp set of chain wrestling to open, though both Alexis and Glory are pushing hard at the breaks and starting to ramp up the tensions when Glory gets a little close to her corner and Ghosthead reaches out and smacks her in the back. The hot tempered member of the team starts to move toward the Death Knell but Wyatt settles her back into her corner as Alexis tags in The Kai.
The Kai and Ghosthead go toe to toe with chops and fists and kicks. The Onslaught Champion begins to wear down the Lava Bull as the Kai is whipped into the ropes, but the Kai reverses and hits sends Ghosthead TO THE SAND! But on the whip Power blind tagged herself in and climbed to the top rope. When The Kai comes to his feet he eats a Missile Dropkick that sends him staggering to his corner and tagging in Alexander.
Alex and Power go into another indy-style chain wrestling sequence including Alex hitting a sweet scoop powerslam but Power rolls through and gets a two count on Alex. Power whips Alex into their corner and tags in Clio. Alex then plays Robert Gibson and Power and Glory effectively cut the ring in half and have at Alex with the help of Wyatt and Kate, reopening the cut on Alex's head. Finally The Kai has had enough and blows past Junior Hale only to be cut off by Ghosthead who throws The Kai to the floor and they begin slugging it out down there. The distraction gives Alex time to dive across the ring and get the hot tag to Alexis, who comes in all house o' fire. As Alexis works on beating the twins down, Kate gets up on the apron to complain about the beat down. That gives Wyatt the opportunity when Alexis gets a little too close to the ropes to whip one of the chains around her feet and she's tied up. Alexis turns toward the ropes and tries to grab Wyatt, but the momentary distraction lets Glory get behind Alexis and hit a HANGMANS NOOSE NECKBREAKER! Alex is starting to get to his feet when Power and Glory hit DOUBLE ELIMINATION on Alexis. Power tackles Alex to keep him from making the save and the three count is academic.
WINNERS – 17:43 – Ghosthead and Power and Glory
As Ghosthead and The Kai continue their brawl up the ramp, Power and Glory continue putting the hurt on Alexander until Alexis grabs one of the twins chains and starts swinging it in the air which sends Wyatt, Kate, and the twins up the ramp with Lexie begging them to come back down.
Russ: What a shocker, Razz! For three weeks in a row the rookie twins have stepped up and got the win over veterans with significantly more experience!
Razz: I said it before, Wyatt Cox and his girls are the real deal. Since bringing in his former student to help train the girls they're not only getting better, they're pulling out surprises on top of surprises. Last week the Asiatic Spike, tonight the Hangmans Noose. How much more old school will Power and Glory go to keep their winning streak alive?
Russ: I'm not a fan of everything Wyatt Cox does, but one thing he has Power and Glory doing that's right, is winning.
Russ: Now something unique, a NASCAR match between the OOWF's two...well, only NASCAR fans to my knowledge.
Razz: Leave it to Awesome Bill and the Reverend Stan to come up with a match this...well, this weird.
Russ: Well, the ring crew is finished setting up the ringside area for this special match, let's go to the ring....
AWESOME BILL FROM DAWSONVILLE vs. REVEREND STAN FULTON – NASCAR MatchThe rules of this match are simple, you win when you throw your opponent into the car. Simple enough, right? The car is wheeled out and Awesome Bill From Dawsonville and Reverend Stan “Crusher” Fulton are introduced. The two meet in the middle of the ring, which, along with ringside, is littered with NASCAR paraphernalia. The bell rings, and Bill immediately goes for a gas can, and turns to go after Stan, but Stan has jack handle and catches him with a shot in the gut doubling Bill over. Stan stands Bill up and peppers him with punches to the jaw, then sends him to the ropes, grabs the gas can and SLAMS it down on Bill’s head on the rebound.
Bill is woozy, but he doesn’t go down, instead he staggers around the ring. Stan grabs his head and slams it into the turnbuckle, then points to the next one, and the crowd roars, so he walks him over and slams it into that one. He does the same with the next one, and the crowd roars. He points to the fourth one, but before the crowd can approve, Bill shoves him away and points to the fourth one himself. The crowd roars, so Bill marches over to the turnbuckle and slams his head into it. The crowd goes ballistic. Bill climbs to the middle turnbuckle and fires the people up. When he jumps off the turnbuckle, Stan charges, but Bill moves out of the way and Stan slams into the corner. Fulton staggers out of the corner on wobbly knees, Bill picks up the gas can, opens it, AND DRINKS THE (we hope) PCPL INSIDE then clotheslines Fulton over the top rope to the floor!
Bill pulls Stan up and whips him into the car sitting there, Stan hits hard and rocks the whole car. Bill charges at him, but Stan flips him OVER the car! Bill lands with a thud on the other side. Stan storms around ringside looking for a suitable weapon. Meanwhile, we hear the familiar WHHHRRR WHRRRRR WHRRRR sound. Stan finds a spare hood and sets it across two piles of tires. When he turns back to Bill, Bill stands up WITH THE TIRE OFF THE CAR! He nails Stan right in the head with it, and the big man staggers backward toward the ring.
Bill follows him, after ditching the tire. He is about to catch up with Stan when he sees Stan grab a tire iron. Bill turns tail and runs with Stan in hot pursuit. Bill grabs a helmet that was lying around and as he is running and puts it on. Once it is on, he turns and stops and holds his hand out stopping Stan. Bill points to the helmet and raises his arms in victory. Stan hauls off and NAILS Bill with the tire iron, but it doesn’t faze him at all. Bill again raises his arms in victory, so Stan grabs the helmet and turns it 90 degrees so Bill can’t see! Bill staggers around for a minute, wandering right over to the car hood. Stan goozles him, and CHOKESLAMS him onto the hood, which bends and pulls the piles of tires down with it!
The crowd roars as Stan pulls Bill out of the wreckage – still wearing the helmet, and tries to whip him into the car. Bill reverses it, and Stan hurtles toward the car, and makes it into the window, but Stan is a big guy and will not fit through the window! What a conundrum! Bill fixes the helmet and eyes the situation some, he runs up the ramp and brings Drunkey back. He turns him facing away from Stan, then slaps Drunkey on the backside. Drunkey brays and kicks Stan right on the backside. Well, it does not have the intended effect of pushing Stan into the car, instead it just makes him angry, and he frees himself from the car, bringing the steering wheel with him. He whips it at Bill, catching him right on the chest. Bill falls to the floor and Stan pulls him up and slams him onto the windshield of the car, which spider webs, but does not break. Stan climbs onto the car and kicks Bill a few times, then takes a few steps back and tries a DROPLINE but Bill moves out of the way and Stan crashes THROUGH the window! The referee immediately calls for the bell!
WINNER in 13:30 – Awesome Bill From Dawsonville
Immediately after the match, Justin Sane runs to the car with a squirt bottle and sprays some PCPL in Bill’s mouth. Bill climbs onto the car and tries to do a backflip off of it, but he lands on his head. Good thing he was still wearing that helmet. Bill and Justin help Stan out of the car, after a brief moment of tension Stan shakes his head and laughs and raises Bill’s arm in victory. Bill offers some PCPL, but Stan politely refuses, so they give him two cartons of milk, Fulton laughs and climbs onto the car, slams the milk cartons together and drinks them Stone Cold style, much to the crowd’s delight. Bill saddles up Drunkey and takes a victory lap around the ring, then the three of them head to the back.
Razz: Who would've thought Reverend Stan would spin out on the last lap like that?
Russ: Chalk up another win for another of the OOWF's most unusual characters, Awesome Bill from Dawsonville....
Razz: Just another reminder we're only 11 days away from returning to the US for Hell on Earth, live Sunday, September 30th, only on pay per view.
Russ: Tag team action now with two Grand Slam Champions on one team, and our current World Champion and an up-and-comer on the other team.
Razz: No need to extol the virtues of LD and Stank, but Chris Evans stock has risen dramatically this year, and Ricky Soaring Eagle is one of the most underrated performers in this sport, give him time.
Russ: Let's head to the ring..
STANK & LD WILLIAMS vs. CHRIS EVANS & RICKY SOARING EAGLENonpoint's “Skin” blasts through the arena and one of two Grand Slam Champions in this match come to the ring in the form of the huge Stank, who enters the ring and stands in the corner. Next “Jekyl and Hyde” brings out the former two time OOWF Champion LD Williams, who steps over to his partner and shakes his hand.
Iron Maidens “Run for the Hills” brings out the Native American warrior Ricky Soaring Eagle who, surprise surprise, is pissed and yelling at the fans. He storms his way into the ring and begins yelling at Stank and LD.
Finally the OOWF Heavyweight Champion Chris Evans with two Canadian Beauties in tow who had to come from Winnipeg enters the scene and the crowd boos louder if that was possible. Evans hands his Heavyweight Championship belt to referee Angelo Barrios and this one is on.
LD Steps in the ring to start and calls out Evans, but Evans just smirks, points to LD, and tells Ricky soaring Eagle “He's all yours” as he steps to the apron. RSE charges to LD but LD deftly sidesteps the young star and traps him in the corner where Stank and LD take turns beating the tar out of the young Native American. But RSE fights his way out of the corner and tags in Chris Evans, who locks up with Stank and backs the big man into the corner and lays in some forearm shots and tries to throw Stank into the opposite corner. Stank reverses and follows in with an avalanche on Evans that drops the champion, then bounds off the ropes to hit Stankonia! Stank goes for the cover but Evans gets his foot over the ropes to stop the count. Evans crawls to his corner and tags RSE back in and the slugfest is on as both men dig out the chops and strikes on each other. Meanwhile a commotion in the audience as out of the crowd comes Ski Mask Guy. Evans jumps down off the apron and jaws with the masked man. In the commotion Ski Mask Guy drops his pipe and motions Evans to bring it! The brawl is on in the crowd and eventually works its way backstage, leaving RSE to fend for himself. RSE doesn't notice as he has taken charge over Stank and gets the big man off his feet and amazingly hits the Return to the Earth! RSE goes for the pin and hits two before LD blows in to break up the pin. RSE delivers more strikes and blows to the prone Stank and then rolls over to tag in Evans...who isn't there! He looks around in amazement and anger at how now he must go on with no partner. He turns to complain to Barrios, but is met by a series of chops and strikes from LD. LD throws RSE to Stank who clotheslines RSE out of his boots. Stank picks him up, STANK-U! Stank looks around, shrugs, and locks on CATCH-22. RSE fights to escape, but with nowhere to go and no partner to save him, he has no choice but to tap out.
WINNERS – 14:56 – Stank and LD Williams
The grand slam championship team exits the ring heading for a beverage, while Ricky Soaring Eagle is pissed, but for once justifiably so, as he leaves the ring in search of his missing partner.
Russ: Well, once again Ski Mask Guy costs Chris Evans a win.
Razz: But the real victim here is Ricky Soaring Eagle. He had things rolling his way, he needed a tag, and thanks to Ski Mask Guy, the Native American warrior is denied a win.
Russ: Give the Grand Slam champions credit, once the opportunity presented itself, the capitalized big time. Now, though, it's singles action.
Razz: The last time these two met, Chad Madison handily disposed of Mai Muyo, But that was then, this is now.
Russ: Let's go to the ring...
CHAD MADISON vs. MAI MUYOSkillet's “Hero” welcomes the happy skipping arrival of Mai Muyo who slaps hands and hugs fans all around the ring to a surprisingly friendly reception. She gets in the ring happily waving to fans.
Big and Rich's “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy” fires up and Chad Madison works his way down the ring, slapping hand, tipping his hat and flirting with all the ladies. Finally he steps into the ring and tips his hat to Mai. Mai walks to mid ring and extends her hand for a handshake, which Chad not only does, but he kisses her hand all gentlemanly like. Both walk back to their corners and referee Mel Creech calls for the bell.
Both lock up in the center of the ring, with Mai backing Chad into the corner and sending him out with a Monkey flip. She follows up quickly with a number of stiff kicks that drop Chad to his knees. Mai backs up and hits a Shining Wizard trying to end this quickly but only gets a one count. Chad works his way to his feet and catches an Enziguri from Mai that staggers him again. Mai lays into Chad with a series of strikes and chops that staggers the Texan. Mai backs Chad into the corner and hip tosses him out of the corner. Chad comes to his feet and is dropkicked by Mai. Chad falls back into the ropes and comes off with a stiff forearm that catches Mai off guard. A couple of European uppercuts has Mai staggering. Chad also tries a few chops of his own that get the crowd to WOOOing. Then Chad, trying to make an early evening of it, picks up Mai for a powerbomb, but forgets that YOU CAN'T POWERBOMB MAI MUYO! Mai grabs Chad by the hair and faceplants the Texan. Mai picks up Chad and grabs him by the hair and...bends him backwards ...and... Kisses Him? Chad is staggered and all smiles...until Mai hits him with a Reverse Roundhouse Kick that sends Chad further into LaLa land. ! Mai hooks both legs and gets the pinfall!
WINNER – 7:45 – Mai Muyo
Mai stands up and holds her hand over her mouth as if to say, Oh, did I Do THAT? Then she starts dancing and skipping happily around the ring while Chad just sits on the mat, holding his mouth and...smiling? What a way to lose!
Razz: Tell me Russ that I didn't see that just now.
Russ: Shades of Mickie James, I'm afraid you did.
Razz: The sister of Ecosystem continues to break out and develop in ways no one ever suspected.
Russ: Well Chad Madison sure didn't. And if that match was crazy, this one will be just insane. No, really. Let's go to the ring....
JUSTIN SANE vs. ZANE MYERSAn air raid siren fills the arena followed by Cypress Hills “Insane in the Brain”, and that brings out Justin Sane, riding on Drunkette. Justin looks more confused than usual, because he still believes he's wrestling himself. He should be so lucky.
Big and Rich's “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy” fires up and here comes the big man Zane Myers. Suddenly Justin wishes he was wrestling himself.
A handshake before the match starts has Justin tapping out before the bell is rung, which referee Junior Hale reminds him he can't do yet.
The bell rings and Justin tries a dropkick on Zane that goes nowhere. He tries a flying forearm. Nada. He finally tries a Thesz Press. That does something. It gets Justin powerslammed by Zane. Zane picks up Justin for a Giant Suplex. Then picks him up for the Torture Rack. Really, that was it.
WINNER: 1:58 – Zane Myers.
After the match Zane, being the good sport that he is, puts Justin back on Drunkette, slaps the donkey on the behind and gets Justin back home.
Russ: Well, that was short and sweet
Razz: Well, for Zane. Poor Justin was out of his element tonight having to deal with a behemoth like Zane.
Russ: Folks, our next match features two outstanding athletes here in the OOWF, as Rabbit Mask faces off against the rugged Russian, Comrade Sharkoff
Razz: One thing this match will not be is scientific. I expect this one to end a bloody violent mess. Let's go to the ring.
RABBIT MASK vs. COMRADE SHARKOFF"Moscow Calling" by Gorky Park brings Comrade Sharkoff to the ring accompanied by his advisor Mila Kunis. Sharkoff is dragging his chains and Kunis is carrying the old CCCP flag.
Another Me by Jeff Hardy brings out the bizarre Rabbit Head, the sight of which makes Sharkoff grab a microphone.
CS:
Once again Double OF gives the Metal Heavy champion joke match with Rabbit. Is disrespectful of best wrestler in all of Russia. Double OF must show respect to Sharkoff and Mother Russia. Rabbit is....Rabbit Mask takes two steps back and hits the superkick to Sharkoff's face. Referee Mel Creech calls for the bell to start the match. Sharkoff's nose is pouring blood. Creech tries to check on Sharkoff but Rabbit Mask pushes him out of the way. RM Picks up Sharkoff for HEAD DROP #1. Creech goes to count the pin but RM picks up Sharkoff. HEAD DROP #2. Creech goes to count the pin but RM picks up Sharkoff again. Creech warns RM to pin the man. Instead, RM hits HEAD DROP #3. Creech once again tells RM to pin the man. RM goes to pick up Sharkoff again and Creech gets in RM's face. Bad idea as RM spews the white mist in Creech's face. Creech goes down and RM picks up Sharkoff for HEAD DROP #4.
Out from the back comes senior official Davis Hightower who heads straight for the announce table to call for the bell.
WINNER by Disqualification – 1:10 – Comrade Sharkoff
Mila Kunis comes into the ring to check on Sharkoff with Hightower. RM grabs Kunis by the hair and looks at her for a moment, then spews more white mist in her face and SHE is down. RM moves toward Hightower who points at his referee's shirt and threatnes RM with a fine...like he cares. White Mist again! Then RM picks up Hightower for HEAD DROP #1 when ministry's “Scarecrow” fires up and out from the back comes Moosehead Jack. The crowd boos loudly, Moose looks amused
MHJ: Hang on, Rabbit. Save that venom for next week. You see, you're just what I want. Next week, Midweek Mayhem, Pick your Poison. Now, ultimately, it won’t matter much, since I am going to beat Lisa tonight and teach her that decisions have consequences, but since our esteemed General Manager wants a Pick Your Poison match, that is how its gonna be. Firewoman needs some fresh poison. I think you're just what that Darling needs..... <Moose smirks> Trust me
Russ: What a shocker, Moosehead Jack picking Rabbit Mask to face his sister Firewoman next week on Midweek Mayhem.
Razz: Firewoman and Rabbit are former tag team partners. Can Fire hold her own with this ultra violent Bunny.
Russ: The big question to be answered tonight is will Firewoman be able to come back tonight to win the 6th match in this series against her brother, Moosehead Jack, or will the fairy tale wedding of Alexander and Lisa Darling come to an end tonight.
Razz: This series took an unexpected turn last week when Firewoman put her marriage on the line against her brother's career.
Russ: These two have fought tooth and nail with just pride on the line. Now with these added stipulations you have to wonder to what depths of hell they can take each other tonight in a 60 minute Iron Man match with no pinfalls or count outs, just submissions.
Razz: Fire and Moose are racking up the frequent flyer miles in hospitals all around the world. The question is tonight, could one of them be beaten and broken so badly in this Iron Man Submissions match that they can't continue at all?
Russ: One solid hour of action coming up, let's go to the ring...
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. FIREWOMAN – Best of Seven Series – Match 6: 60 Minute Iron Person Submission Match“Flame On” plays and Firewoman makes her way to the ring, seemingly oblivious to everything around her. She steps between the ropes and waits in the corner with her arms folded across her chest defiantly, an icy glare on her face. “Scarecrow” plays and Moose makes his way to the ring. The fans boo him loudly, and he just laughs at them. Moose gets to the ring and slowly circles it, watching Fire the whole time. Finally Moose starts to climb between the ropes, and Fire lunges for him, but Moose bails back out and yells for the referee to get her back.
Fire backs off, reluctantly, and Moose slides under the bottom rope. The referee calls for the bell and Fire charges out of the corner, but Moose just slips back outside the ring and takes a walk around the ring. Fire stands in the middle of the ring, glaring at Moose, yelling for him to get in and fight. Moose climbs onto the apron and starts in again, and once again Fire charges across the ring, and once again Moose hops off the apron to the floor.
This time Fire follows him out of the ring and Moose races around the ring and slides under the bottom rope. As Fire slides into the ring, Moose catches her with a kick to the side of the head that drops her to the mat. Moose connects with several more kicks before pulling Fire up and trying a whip to the ropes, but Fire reverses it and sends Moose. As he rebounds off the ropes, Fire tires a SPEAR, but she hits Moose and drops to her knees, grabs her head and falls backward to the mat. Moose stands over her for a moment looking down at her, then slowly lifts his shirt and pulls out a metal breastplate OMG BRET HART!
Moose laughs and tosses it aside, then grabs Fire’s leg and drops a knee down across her injured knee. Moose twists Fire’s knee and repeatedly kicks it drawing snarls of pain from Fire. Moose tires a figure four, but Fire kicks him off and Moose slams into the corner chest first, this time he feels it and staggers backward. Fire gets to her feet and grabs him from behind and hits a BACKDROP DRIVER! Moose slams to the mat landing on the back of his head, he remains on the mat, but Fire does as well, grabbing her knee in pain.
Fire is up first and she grabs a handful of Moose’s hair and pulls him to a sitting position, then unleashes a barrage of stiff kicks to his back causing Moose to howl in pain. Fire finishes him off with a stiff kick to the back of the head, then grabs his legs and tries to roll him over in a LION TAMER, but Moose fights the move, grabbing Fire’s injured leg and twisting it. Fire frees her leg and kicks Moose in the face several times, but before she can turn him over, Moose grabs her leg again and twists HARD sending Fire to the mat.
Fire drags herself to the corner and grabs her knee in pain, Moose gets to his feet and catches Fire with a charging knee to the face, then drops all his weight down on her leg, pinning it to the mat. Moose tears at the knee brace Fire is wearing, and finally removes it and tosses it into the crowd.
Moose leaves the ring and grabs Fire’s leg and pulls her to the corner, then repeatedly SLAMS it against the ring post! Fire howls in pain and tries to crawl away, but Moose keeps hold of her leg and slams it into the post again. Moose grabs it for one last shot, but Fire pulls her leg forward and pulls Moose into the post face first. Moose falls to the floor dazed, while Fire pulls herself back to the middle of the ring and grabs her knee in pain. Fire attempts to get to her feet, but her knee will not support her weight and she crashes back to the mat. Fire slams the mat out of frustration and pulls herself up using the ropes. On the other side of the ring, Moose slowly rises up from the apron, a grin on his face, and blood pouring from his forehead. He slowly climbs into the ring and eyes Fire.
Fire backs into the corner as Moose steps between the ropes. He slowly moves toward her. Fire snarls at him, then flips him the double bird. Moose charges into the corner, but Fire gets a knee up, slamming Moose right in the sternum. As Moose staggers away Fire limps out of the corner and grabs him from behind and hits a LUNGBLOWER! Moose gasps for air, and now it is Fire’s turn to get to her feet and stand over Moose, grinning. She pulls Moose up and sends him to the ropes and lands a leaping back elbow to Moose’s jaw sending him to the mat. Fire pulls him up quickly and kick him in the gut, and PLANTS him with a DDT! She grabs his legs and once again tries to roll him over in a LION TAMER, and once again Moose fights it. This time, however, Fire DOES turn him over, Moose snarls in pain as the referee asks him if he wants to tap. Moose refuses to tap and slowly fights toward the ropes. Moose finally gets his hand on the bottom rope forcing the break. Fire lets go of Moose’s legs, then drops a knee right between his shoulder blades. Moose rolls out of the ring and collapses to the floor in pain.
Fire follows him to the outside and pulls him up, scoops him up and SLAMS him on the floor. Moose grabs his ribs in pain as Fire climbs to the apron and hits a BEST FIRESAULT EVER right onto Moose! Moose is not moving, except to cough up some blood, but Fire’s knee SLAMMED into the floor, and now she is rolling around in pain as well.
Moose crawls around the ring and rolls under the bottom rope, Fire rolls into the ring at the same time. Moose pulls himself up using the ropes and waits for Fire to stand up. She takes a swing at him, but Moose avoids it and kicks Fire in the knee, sending her right back to the mat. Moose pounces quickly, grabbing her leg and trapping her in a figure four right in the middle of the ring. Fire tries to get to the ropes, but Moose breaks the hold, pulls her back to the middle of the ring and reapplies the move. Fire howls in pain, Moose snarls and yells for her to tap out. Finally Fire can take no more, and she is forced to tap out.
Firewoman taps out at 33:11 – Moose leads 1-0Moose gets to his feet, but doesn’t celebrate at all, instead he grabs Fire and pulls her to her feet and NAILS her with a spinning back fist to the temple. Fire staggers but doesn’t go down. Moose kicks her in the gut and goes for a suplex, but Fire slips free and turns it into a PRETTY DARN GOOD DIAMONDCUTTER!
Moose’s skull bounces off the canvas and Fire pounces on him and traps him in an STF! (a good one, not a shitty one like Cena) Moose fights to slip free and after a few minutes, Fire lets him slip from that and gets him in the CROSSFACE! Moose howls in pain and inches toward the ropes. As he reaches out to grab the bottom rope, Fire turns the move into the RINGS OF SATURN! Moose finally manages to scoot around and get his bottom foot on the rope, but the damage has been done.
Fire grabs Moose by the hair and pulls him to his feet and hammers him with punches to the face. When she thinks he is stunned enough, she bounds off the ropes, but Moose catches her with a boot to the face. Fire staggers, but snarls and charges and tries a clothesline, Moose ducks the clothesline, grabs Fire’s arm and twists it around her head and lands a HEARTPUNCH Fire staggers a bit, Moose keeps hold if her arm and DROPS her across his knee, then to the mat, and locks in the ANACONDA CROSS! Now it is Fire’s turn to scoot to the ropes and just get her foot on the bottom to force the break.
Moose breaks, just before the referee would have disqualified him…..which….is that even legal in a submission match? Anyway. Both Fire and Moose remain down. Moose gets to his feet first and measures Fire and catches her with a kick to the face that draws blood from her nose. He pulls her up and shoves her back into the corner and repeatedly slams her in the face with headbutts until she is slumped in the ropes, but she won’t go down. Moose takes a few steps back and charges, but Fire gets her foot up. Moose catches her leg, and pulls her to the middle of the ring. Fire tries an ENZUGURI but Moose ducks it and takes Fire to the mat and locks her in the GORILLA CLUTCH! Fire howls in pain but refuses to tap out. She tries to get to the ropes but can’t reach them, so she grabs Moose’s leg and twists his ankle, ANKLE LOCK! Moose releases the hold and kicks Fire in the face with his free foot breaking the hold and knocking Fire goofy.
Moose gets to his feet and goes for the figure four once again, but Fire sits up, grabs Moose in a front face lock, then grabs his shorts and SPIKES him with a SHORT DDT dropping him right on his head! Moose is dazed on the mat, Fire pulls him to a sitting position and lands several hard kicks to the back that cause Moose to gasp for air. Fire grabs Moose’s arms and pulls them back and drives her knee into his back trying for a submission. The referee asks Moose and he tells him to crawl off and die. Fire gets back to a vertical base, then lands several straight kicks to the back of Moose’s head. Moose slumps over a little bit and Fire pins his arms behind her legs, then reaches down and grabs Moose’s legs, DOUBLE STUMP PULLER! Fire pulls back as hard as she can on his legs, while pushing his head down cutting off his oxygen! Moose reaches for the ropes, but he is nowhere near them. He fights it for a few minutes, but as his face begins to turn blue, he has no choice and taps out.
Moose taps out at 46:51 – Match tied 1-1Fire releases the hold and Moose slumps to the mat, gasping for air. As Moose rolls over on his back, Fire comes out of NOWHERE with a BEST FIRESAULT EVER! Moose grabs his ribs, yet again, and rolls out of the ring to the floor. We are closing in on the time limit, tied at one. Fire leaves the ring and grabs Moose and throws him back into the ring and follows. She tries to grab Moose but he kicks her knee and she falls to the mat. The two of them are on their knees hammering one another with punches. Fire catches Moose with a backhand, Moose glares at her and spits in her face, then lands a backhand of his own. Fire responds by returning the spit to the face, then raking Moose’s eyes, getting to her feet, bouncing off the ropes and landing a SHINING WIZARD!
Fire grabs Moose’s arms and tries the CATTLE MUTILATION, but Moose throws his weight to one side and throws Fire off balance. Moose gets to his feet quickly and waits for Fire to stand up and grabs her in a COBRA CLUTCH going for the JI-ENDO, but Fire nails Moose with a MULE KICK, breaking the hold and doubling him over in pain. Fire grabs Moose around the waist and takes him to the mat tries a GERMAN SUPLEX, but Moose blocks it, and rocks Fire with several elbows to the face. Moose reaches between his legs and grabs Fire’s leg and drops her to the mat, and locks her in the MONEY CLIP! Moose laughs maniacally as Fire howls in pain.
With time running out, Fire tries for the ropes, but Moose walks forward dragging her to the middle of the ring, then sits back again yelling for Fire to give up. Fire snarls and tells Moose to go to hell, then grabs his leg and begins slowly inching it back. Soon enough Moose loses his balance and falls forward, and Fire sits up and quickly grapevines his legs reversing it into a MONEY CLIP OF HER OWN! Moose howls in pain and now he inches forward as time is quickly running out. Just when he is about to reach the bottom rope, Fire leans back and grabs him around the face and pulls back! Moose is being bent in half! He desperately reaches for the ropes, but Fire pulls back harder, Moose’s feet are damn near touching the back of his head!
Moose’s face is beet red, those ribs have got to be killing him. The crowd roars thinking Moose will tap, a FI-RE WO-MAN chant starts up. Moose tries one more time to reach the bottom rope and cant, and he TAPS OUT!
Moose taps out at 59:39, Firewoman leads 2-1Fire falls to the mat, grabbing her knee in pain, curled up in pain in the fetal position. Moose collapses face first on the mat and does not move, other than to cough up a disturbing amount of blood. The referee checks with the timekeeper, the last twenty seconds ticks away, and Firewoman gets the win!
WINNER in 60:00, 2 falls to 1 – Firewoman
Medics head to the ring, this is old hat to them by now. They get Moose out of the ring and to his feet, he shoves them out of the way, takes a few steps and slumps to the floor. They load him up on a gurney and take him to the back. Inside the ring, they help Fire to her feet, she also shoves the EMT’s away and tries to take a step, but her leg immediately buckles and she falls to the mat howling in pain. They stabilize her leg, load her up and wheel her to the back, the crowd still roaring her name.
Russ: What an unbelievable match, Razz!
Razz: Never count either of these two out, we'll see how this plays out next week here on Midweek Mayhem.
Russ: Next up, the Intercontinental Title is on the line with two of the OOWF's best at Dynamite Danny Taylor defends against former champion Matt Folz.
Razz: Bad mojo between these two, Russ. As a part of the New Guard, Folz helped cripple Danny's good friend Outback Jack. It's something for which I believe Taylor will never forgive any of them.
Russ: Taylor still recovering from last week's brutal 3 on 1 handicap match. Is he recovered enough to handle the challenge of the OOWF's resident mercenary? Let's go to the ring...
DANNY TAYLOR vs. MATT FOLZ – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchBattle without Honor or Humanity by Tomoyasu Hotei brings the former Intercontinental Champion Matt Folz enters the ring to a smattering of boos, while the appearance of the current Intercontinental Champion Dynamite Danny Taylor to POD's Here Comes the Boom lifts the roof from the building.
Folz opens up quickly with an attack at the bell of strikes, chops, and a big release German Suplex on Taylor followed up by a Hammerlock pushed up hard. As Taylor gets to his feet and tries to reverse the hammerlock, Folz pushes him into the ropes, fires in several forearms, then whips Taylor to the ropes and catches the big man in a scoop powerslam. Folz picks up Taylor and locks in a Dragon Suplex for just a one count, and it jars DDT from what seems to be a funk and a switch is turned on in Taylor's head as he goes to work on Folz with MMA strikes and chops. Taylor throws a stunned Folz into the ropes and hits the POLISH HAMMER! Taylor picks up Folz for an EXPLODER SUPLEX, then locks on the TNT! Seeing no handy escape route, Folz wisely taps out and this one is history.
WINNER and still Intercontinental Champion – 12:22 – Dynamite Danny Taylor
Russ: A solid win for the Intercontinental Champion Danny Taylor!
Razz: Wow, in the opening minutes of that match it looked like Danny Taylor was somewhere else, but he showed that when he turns it on and gets his head in the game, he's the best, bar none.
Russ: Who will Firewoman pick to face Moosehead Jack? Be watching OOWF-TV all week for the answers to these questions and more.
