Alexis Darling vs. Comrade Sharkoff Life is Beautiful by Sixx AM brings out Alexis Darling, the single spotlight following her to the ring.
“Moscow Calling” by Gorky Park brings out the pride of Russia, Comrade Sharkoff. He is accompanied tonight by Mila Kunis, who is carrying a microphone, and as the odd couple gets into the ring Kunis starts to speak.
MK: You will all pay attention. Russia's most important wrestler of all time wants to speak.
Kunis hands the microphone to Sharkoff.
CS:
Is travesty. Now OOWF makes Comrade fight woman in ring again. Alice Darning, in Russia women like you stay home, make house nice, have babies and shut up. No place for – Sharkoff's rant was interrupted by a kick to the face by Alexis, who tears into the big Russian with a fury as Referee Mel Creech calls for the bell. Alexis hits Sharkoff with strikes and chops and throws him across the ring, but he reverses and goes for a backdrop which Alexis leapfrogs and as she comes off the other rope hits a Thesz Press and starts hammering away at Sharkoff who is on dream street. Creesh forces the break and Alexis has to back off.
Sharkoff and Alexis circle, and Alexis ducks a lock up, nailing him with a kick to the knee. Sharkoff turns and grabs for her, but she dodges and gets in another kick to the knee. Third time’s the charm, as Sharkoff makes contact and sends her to the ropes. Alexis ducks a clothesline and comes back with a dropkick to the knee, dropping the big Russian. Alexis sprints to the ropes and springs off the middle one into a leg drop. She covers, but Sharkoff powers out before one. Alexis rolls to her feet and hits a Spin kick to the head as Sharkoff gets up. She stomps on him, and then goes after the leg, weakening it with stomps and kicks. She tries to tie him in the Money Clip, but Sharkoff kicks her off. Alexis does a back somersault and pegs Sharkoff with a dropkick as he sits up. She rebounds off the ropes and tries a double stomp, but Sharkoff rolls out of the way. Alexis regains her balance and goes to the ropes again, but Sharkoff is up and snags her out of the air with a power slam. He covers, but Alexis kicks out at two. Sharkoff pulls her to her feet and slings her into the corner.
Sharkoff send Alexis to the ropes and plant her with a flapjack. Sharkoff covers, but she kicks out at two. Sharkoff scoops and slams her, and then hits a knee drop. He pulls her up by the arm and twists it into a hammerlock, lifting her off the mat for a flying hammerlock slam. Sharkoff pulls her up in a front face lock and snaps her over with a suplex. Sharkoff turns and she kicks him in the stomach. Alexis rebounds off the ropes and gets caught with a clothesline that connects and sends her flying.
Mila Kunis jumps up on the apron to distract Mel Creech – not like that takes much – as Sharkoff loads up that artificial foot and delivers a stunning blow to Alexis' temple. Sharkoff didn't get all of that but it was enough to send Alexis to loopyville. He locks Alexis into a front facelock on the mat that seems to be having it's desired effect as Alexis' movements are slowing significantly. Slowly Alexis begins to move the big man as she gets to her knees, then to her feet, and she begins kicking and striking at the Russian but one kick from that artificial foot sends Alexis back to her knees. She slowly works her way back up and gets her arm around the big head of the Russian and manages to turn them around for a Neckbreaker!
Both are stunned but Alexis gets it together a little more quickly and gets behind the Comrade and sets up a Curbstomp. Alexis allows the Comrade to get to his feet then quickly dives under for the Air Raid Crash! Alexis follows up with a Shooting Star Press, then covers and hooks the leg of the Comrade for the three count.
WINNER – Alexis Darling
Ghosthead vs. Alexander Darling vs. Matt Folz vs. The Kai vs. Danny TaylorThis one should be interesting as we have 2 of the current champions as well as the holder of the Imperial Onslaught and not to be left out is a multi-time champion as well as an OOWF 6-Pack Champion. That’s to say nothing of the unique rules we’ll have in this five-way match as tags won’t be necessary and any wrestler can enter the ring if another wrestler leaves the ring. Very luchaesque in a match with very few of the wrestlers having actual lucha libre experience. But with the pleasantries out of the way, all five wrestlers make their way down to the ring as the entrance music plays one-by-one.
We get the rules and the bell as Matt Folz and The Kai will start us off. We get some back and forth as there really isn’t a big feeling out process between these two. From their time together in the New Guard they know each other pretty well and we’re seeing it on display as they counter each other pretty well before they both step back and make tags to Ghosthead and Danny Taylor respectively. And they continue a clean back and forth match because these two while never having been allied like Kai and Matt have worked against each other a lot and they know each other very well. A bit more hard hitting as these two bigger men go at it and it’s Taylor who gets the edge and nails Ghosthead with a knee that sends him to the floor. Before Ghosthead can jump back in the ring, Alexander Darling steps between the ropes and comes face to face with Taylor. DDT holds out his hand and gets a handshake but as soon as Darling lets go, he lets fly with a right hand that catches Danny unaware and he staggers back before smiling and coming right back at Alex.
And that’s what we get for the next 10 or so minutes, lots of guys coming in and out of the ring, counters and double counters, tosses, throws, punches, kicks and everything in everyone’s arsenal. We also see Kai, Darling and Ghosthead all hit spectacular looking dives to the floor leaving Folz and Taylor in the ring. They lay into each other given their history when Taylor was a major target of the New Guard and MF looks to have the edge as he sets up Danny for the WISCONSIN SLAM but as he lifts him up, The Kai is back in the ring and he takes Folz off his feet with a picture perfect HAOL HAMMER. Kai starts to celebrate but a bit too soon as Ghosthead is in the ring and lifts Kai up…HORROR DRIVER. Ghosthead is about to make the cover but he’s quickly spun around and nailed with a boot to the gut by Darling. Alex is about to lift him up but Danny jumps in and nails his DYNAMITE DROP. He’s already in position for the cover…
1…
2…Alex shakes himself from the shock and knocks Danny off and quickly lifts him up…BRAINBUSTA. AD is trying to lock Taylor up for the second stage of DDR and has the legs locked for the CURBSTOMP, but Folz is back and plants his boot right in Alexander’s face with a SUPERKICK. He looks to quickly follow up as he’s about to drop down and lock in the STF, but before he can get into position, Kai is back and nails Folz once again, this time with the PIPELINE and they go crashing through the ropes all the way to the floor. Taylor and Ghosthead are the two slowly back on their feet and they’re exchanging hard punches as Alex is climbing back to his feet as well while shaking the cobwebs off. He sees the two guys fighting and is sizing up the situation for an opening when he sees a quick one. AD gets a running start and goes for a DISCUS ELBOW but Ghosthead ducks and Alex damn nails Danny in the back of the head and DT crumbles to the mat. Alex doesn’t look like that was what he was hoping for and he’s about to check on Danny when Ghosthead spins him around…PHANTASMAGORIA and Alex is stuck in the center of the ring.
Kai and Folz are still out on the floor…
Danny is damn near unconscious from the location of that blow from Darling…
And that’s it, Alexander Darling has no choice but to tap out.
Your winner in 19:33, GHOSTHEAD!!!
Davin Moreland vs. Chris Evans – Non-title Street Fight Notorious fires up and out comes the Grand Slam and Six Pack champion Davin Moreland in jeans and an “LD Williams is a Fraud” T-shirt, carrying his trusty Rebar. After pandering to the crowd for what seems like an eternity, Moreland gets into the ring and takes the microphone.
DM: Come on, Cubbie. Come on Paper Tiger. Come on, bed-wetting douchebag. Time to dance.
Iron Maiden's The Trooper brings the OOWF World Champion Chris Evans in jeans and a flannel shirt to the ring brandishing a lead pipe and brass knuckles. He stalks to the ring and gets in unchallenged by Moreland.
Moreland holds his hands out like he's challenging Evans to come after him. Evans tries to come after Moreland with the pipe but Moreland blocks it with the Rebar. It odes get Evans close enough to drive those brass knuckles into Moreland's ribs, forcing Moreland to drop the rebar. Evans gets in a few shots with the pipe while figuring out what to do next. Evans rolls Moreland out to the floor and looks under the ring and finds a table, which he sets up at ringside. He rolls Moreland on top of the table and takes the pipe to the top rope, Evans sails off the top rope but Moreland moves and Evans crashes through the table, dropping the pipe.
Moreland goes on the attack slowly, methodically, dissecting Evans with his trusty rebar. Evans tries to crawl away, but Moreland picks him up and throws him back into the ring. Moreland moves to pick up Evans, but Evans plants the brass knuckles into the old fishing tackle, and Moreland crumples. Evans pulls himself up and lays the boots to Moreland and jumps on top of him and begins choking him. But in the process Moreland reaches out and finds Evans lead pipe and clocks him up side of the head with it.
Moreland, finally tired of beating on Evans, retrieves his trusty Rebar, and positions it to give him extra painful leverage as he turns Evans over for a Sharpshooter. Evans realizes quickly that he's going nowhere and since it's a non title match, taps out.
WINNER – Davin Moreland.
Moreland shakes his rebar at Evans who, seeing no easy advantage to take against Moreland at the moment, begins to head backstage when Sevendust’s “My Ruin” starts to play. Evans quickly stops in his track and looks at the entrance where the large imposing figure of Ghosthead stands with his Imperial Onslaught briefcase. Evans looks back and forth from the entrance to the ring where Davin is still twirling his rebar and no one has ever claimed Chris Evans isn’t a smart man as he jumps over the ringside barricade and escapes though the crowd. Ghosthead stares towards the ring and there’s a moment where it looks like Davin and Ghosthead are gonna go, but Ghosthead does his dark smile as he turns and heads backstage. Davin Moreland takes his time heading backstage as he panders to the fans.
DK Murphy vs. Mai Muyo - #1 Contender IC Title MatchThe Dropkick Murphys bring out newcomer DK Murphy. Murphy comes and smacks lots of hands at ringside and generally panders to the fans.
Hero by Skillet brings a once again happy and skipping Mai Muyo to the ring. She shows no ill effects of last week's significant beatdown by Glory and Kate Bannister.
Mai and DK meet in the middle of the ring and they shake hands to start the match out. They lock up and Murphy uses a hair pull to take Mai to the mat. Murphy tries some mat moves but Mai reverses it and gets to her feet and catches Murphy with a spinning heel kick right upside the head. The action continues on at a furious pace. Murphy rolls out for a quick break, but Mai cuts him off with a suicide dive between the ropes. Mai takes control and gets several near falls on Murphy. Mai climbs to the top for a MOONSAULT, but Murphy lunges toward the ropes and crotches her on the top. Murphy grabs Mai and hits a LEAPING TOP ROPE POWERBOMB! He folds Mai up but she kicks out at two. Murphy waits for her to get to her feet and locks in a Rear Naked Choke....
...When the bell rings?
DECISION: 15 minute time limit draw.
Blow explodes from the loudspeakers and General manager Selena al-Tikriti comes out onto the stage with a microphone.
SaT: Really, a draw? Not tonight. Time guy, referee guy, five more minutes.
The bell rings as Selena stays out on the stage. The match resumes as Mai goes on the attack, doubling Murphy over with a kick to the ribs and heading to the top rope to hit a flying bulldog. Mai hurls Murphy into the corner and executes a picture perfect handspring elbow. She attempts to repeat that but Murphy moves at the last minute and Mai eats some turnbuckle. Murphy throws Mai into the opposite corner and charges with a big splash attempt of his own but Mai climbs up the turnbuckle and comes off with a cross body splash of her own! Mai then runs to the corner and plays to the crowd, but bad timing as Murphy hauls her off with a belly to back Suplex from the second rope. He goes for the pin but Mai escapes at two. Murphy tries again to lock on the Rear Naked Choke but Mai is ready this time and spins Murphy around and locks in the Trinitarian! Murphy starts to fade....when the bell rings.
DECISION: A Draw
SaT: OK, OK, Fine, you both get the match at the Pay-per-view. We'll see how you two fare against Danny Taylor. Smile for the camera.
Mai Muyo is thrilled to have a chance at the title and is jumping all over the ring. Then she turns to DK Murphy and shakes his hand for such a good match.
Rabbit Mask vs. Ricky Soaring Eagle - #1 Contender Onslaught Title Match Iron Maiden's “Run to the Hills” brings out Native American Ricky Soaring Eagle. As usual Ricky is angry and carrying his tire iron to the ring. As he gets into the ring he threatens referee Junior Hale with the tire iron and Hale warns him about using it.
All the lights go out and a white fog engulfs the stage as
Another Me by Jeff Hardy begins to play. Rabbit appears through the fog munching on a head of red cabbage. With a feather sticking out of it. As he gets into the ring Ricky Soaring Eagle begins arguing with Rabbit Mask, who hurls the cabbage at Ricky. Soaring Eagle swings the tire iron and obliterates the cabbage, which has Rabbit Mask roaring with laughter in the corner.
Ricky Soaring Eagle isn't laughing, though, as he charges into Rabbit Mask in the corner and hits a stiff clothesline. RSE hurls Rabbit into the other corner and tries to follow up with a corner splash, but Rabbit dodges the splash and RSE hits the corner hard and Rabbit follows up with a kick to the back of the head that stuns the Native American. As RSE turns around, Rabbit begins channelling Tajiri with a series of hard kicks to the head. Rabbit tries to get RSE up for a head drop but RSE starts pummeling the midsection of Rabbit and he backs off. RSE goes on the offensive and starts tearing into the Insane Bunny with a series of running clotheslines that have Rabbit on dream street. RSE goes to pick up Rabbit for SITTING THUNDER but Rabbit reverses it into a DDT! Another series of hard strikes to the head and more of those thunderous kicks and Rabbit tries again to get RSE up and this time completes a Head Drop #2. Rather than go for a pin, Rabbit backs into a corner and as RSE Stirs and starts to get up he delivers a thunderous PUNT KICK to the Native Americans head. Rabbit Mask covers and gets the three count.
WINNER – Rabbit Mask!
Rabbit Mask considers, just for a moment, laying in some more damage to Soaring Eagle, but he decides his work is done for the day and heads toward the back.
TAG TEAM INVITATIONAL SemifinalsPower and Glory Vs. Banned from Everywhere Insane In the Brain brings the whacky team of
Banned From Everywhere to the ring. Awesome Bill form Dawsonville and Justin Sane are atop Drunkey and Drunkette, and Drunkey is pulling a cart with Peacepel inside, producing a strange fluid from an unusual portion of the robot's anatomy. Behind this whole mess is Ellie May from Elijay on her Likkercycle.
Two Steps from Hell's “Fortress of Seduction” brings Power and Glory to the ring without their father who has been missing in action since Mayhem. As last week Power as she looks totally focused, but Glory seems to be off in her own little evil world.
Power and Awesome Bill start out in this contest. Lockup in the center of the ring, Power pushes Bill back into the ropes and whips him across the ring. Bill ducks his head looking for a clothesline but Power changes direction and comes up with a John Morrison knee to the face that looks bad. Awesome Bill is holding his face and seems to be hurting. Power just picks him up and throws him into the twins corner. Bill seems way out of it – moreso than usual – as Power and Glory doubleteam the crap out of Bill. Finally after several minutes they throw Bill over to his corner and allow Justin to come in who tries to come in a house o'fire, but Glory stops that with a Greco-Roman rake to the eyes. Glory has her way with Justin – and not in a good way – as she runs out of control over the much smaller man. Awesome Bill is just sitting on the apron, trying to get himself together, when Ellie May brings him a quart of Pine Cone Party Likker. Power points that out to the referee who goes over to stop is when Glory slips something over her thumb and hits the ASIATIC SPIKE on Justin. Glory tags in Power, who gets Justin on the top turnbuckle and hits the Superplex. She tags in Glory who goes to the top rope and hits the Alabama Jam on Justin and covers him as Power dashes over and kicks Bill off the apron while Glory gets the three count.
WINNER – Power and Glory
Power starts to leave the ringside area but Glory stops her and points to Ellie May. Power shakes her head so Glory runs over and begins plowing into the much smaller woman. Glory picks her up and locks her in for a Fishermanbuster when Power grabs Glory and slaps her. Power takes Glory by the hair and drags her back to the ramp and through the stage.
Texpress Vs. LD Williams and Stank Nonpoint's “Skin” brings a team of Grand Slam Champions to the ring in LD Williams and Stank. Their victories in this tournament over some very big names are reaffirming to many that this isn't just a random team, but they can truly succeed in the ring.
Big & Rich's
"Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" brings out the OOWF Tag Team Champions Texpress. The Texans play to the crowd but they are all business in the ring.
Chad and Zane makes a point to shake hands with the referee, who then calls for the bell as Chad goes to the outside, and it looks like it’s going to be LD and Zane starting the match off. The two lock up, and Zane easily over powers LD and forces him back to the turnbuckle. The ref tries for a clean break, which Zane is good for, but LD nails Zane with a quick slap. Zane has a small look of shock on his face for a second before he grabs LD and nails him with a hard Irish whip across the ring into the other corner. LD hits the turnbuckles and slams forward onto his face. Zane mounts LD and starts nailing him from behind with cross face rights and lefts. LD tries to go backwards through Zane’s legs, but Zane crashes down on him with all his weight. Zane drags LD to his corner and tags in Chad.
Chad flips over the ropes with a somersault leg drop on to the back of LD’s head. Seems like Texpress are going to focus on LD’s head tonight, probably trying to set him up for Don’t Mess With Texas. Chad hits the ropes and nails LD with a baseball slide dropkick to the head, sending him closer to the ropes. Chad heads over and grabs LD, but as he’s picking him up, LD nails him with an elbow to the guy. Chad tries to grab him again, and LD nails another one, following it up with a quick right hand to the throat. LD springs up, slides behind Chad and nails him with a quick German suplex, throwing Chad across the ring towards Stank in the corner. LD heads over and makes the tag to Stank.
Stank comes in and nails Chad with a quick Spinebuster. Chad looks a little rougher for wear, and Stank seems to be thinking about going for something big when suddenly Chad nails a dropkick to Stank’ knee, knocking Stank down to the mat. Chad stomps on Stank’ knee, apparently trying to ground Stank. Chad climbs to the top turnbuckle and nails a senton splash. Goes for the cover, and LD breaks it up at 2. The ref is trying to get LD out of the ring, and Zane comes in to help and nails LD with a forearm smash, sending him through the ropes to the outside and all the way into the barrier at ringside. The ref starts forcing Zane out of the ring.
In the ring, Stank is back up, but only long enough for Chad to hit him with the Triple Dropkick. Chad makes the quick tag to Zane, who comes in and tries to picks up the huge man in the torture rack, but Stank is just too big and he wriggles free and gets Zane up for a Belly to Belly suplex! Stank hobbles over to his corner and makes the tag to LD, who comes in house a fire on Zane with a number of sollid shots, and attempts to get the big man up for the Canadian Destroyer but Zane is just too big and throws him off. Zane throws LD into the corner and follows him in with a big Corner Smash! LD is dazed as Zane picks him up for the Torture Rack and tags Chad who hits DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS. Chad goes for the cover as Zane blocks Stank from the save and the three count hits!
Winners – Texpress
After the match the Texans help LD and Stank up but a shoving match breaks out between the two teams and Stank and LD angrily storm away.
