MIDWEEK MAYHEM
November 21, 2012
Live from Minsk, BelarusRuss: [/i] Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to the home of the 2014 World Hockey Championships, Minsk Belarus, in the former Soviet Union for another edition of Midweek Mayhem. We are just four days away from November Pain 6 live on Pay Per view from the Ukranian Capital city of Kiev. As always I'm joined by former ECW Heavyweight champion Razz, and what a show we've got on tap tonight.
Razz: [/i] This week is off da chain, Russ, highlighted with our main event, a fatal four way match where the champion The Kai faces the challenge of Comrade Sharkoff, Power, and Davin Moreland!
Russ: [/i] Also a mini-tournament to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship with DK Murphy, Matt Folz, Ricky Soaring Eagle, and Mai Muyo
Razz: [/i] And Glory defends her DDT Ironman Heavy Metal Title against Ghosthead.
Russ: [/i] First a star power opener tonight as former tag team champions Texpress face off against LD Williams and Stank.
Razz: [/i] A five star mat classic this one won't be. This is just a match where these two teams just don't like each other.
Russ: [/i] A slobberknocker to be sure, let's go to the ring.
LD Williams & Stank vs. Texpress Nonpoint's “Skin” brings a team of Grand Slam Champions to the ring in LD Williams and Stank. They are extremely focused as they enter the ring.
Big & Rich's
"Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" brings out the former Tag Team Champions Texpress.
The jaw jacking starts early in this match as Stank and Chad start the war of words. When Zane tried to intercede LD begins putting in his two cents and the words become pushing and finally blows begin with Chad and LD going to fist city and Zane and Stank coming to blows. Referee Mel Creech shakes his head and calls for the bell to start things off. He manages to get Stank and Chad out of the ring and LD and Zane just continue to tear it up. Zane keeps using his size against LD hitting a big spinebuster and landing a Mafia kick while LD keeps targeting the legs with strikes and chops and drop toe holds to slow the big man down. Stank finally gets the tag in and you have the typical power big man match up with Stank and Zane just slugging away in the middle of the ring while Creech tries to keep LD and Chad in their corners. Finally in exasperation Creech interjects himself between the two big men and he gets shoved out of the way by both men. That was all Creech was looking for as he calls for the bell.
DECISION – Double DisqualificationBut the bell doesn't stop these two teams as LD DDT's Chad and LD and Stank begin some serious double team work on Zane. Finally Zane is down and LD and Stank climb out of the ring and grab Zane's legs and crotch him on the ring post. Chad rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair and chases LD and Stank away.
Russ: [/i] Well, that one was about what we expected, Razz.
Razz: [/i] Russ, these two teams just don't like each other. Bad blood and name calling on both sides have escalated tensions to the point that you knew it had to explode.
Russ: [/i] Well, another tag team match straight ahead as the Darling Twins face off in a non-title match against the champions Banned from Everywhere.
Razz: [/i] I'll be honest, Russ. I never thought these two yahoos would get this far, but believe it or not, they're still Tag Team champions.
Russ: [/i] But tonight they face off against the Darling Twins, one double tough team that has the potential to be great.
Razz: [/i] And unlike another pair of twins who shall remain nameless, Alexander and Alexis can pretty much stay on the same page and be successful.
Russ: [/i] Tag team action straight ahead, let's get to the ring.
Darlings vs. Banned from Everywhere – Non-title MatchAll the lights go out in the arena as
“Sail” fills the arena and a single white spotlight falls on the two hooded figures at the top of the ramp, and Alexander and Alexis Darling. The twins walk slowly to the ring, and Alexander perches atop the top rope and his sister stands in front of him focusing on the ramp.
Insane In the Brain brings the whacky team of
Banned From Everywhere to the ring. Awesome Bill form Dawsonville, still with his “neck brace” on, is wearing his Championship belt around his waist aboard Drunkey, while Justin Sane is atop Drunkette, who is wearing the belt around her neck like a necklace. Behind this whole mess is Ellie May from Elijay on her Likkercycle. Bill takes off his belt and drapes it around Drunkey's neck along with his “neck brace”. Bill lectures Drunkey not to drink anything out of the “neck brace”.
The five meet in the center of the ring and Ellie May hands Bill a quart jar which he offers to Alex and Alexis. Alex politely says no while Alexis takes the jar and sips a bit. She smiles at Bill and Justin and then quickly turns around and walks to the ropes and discreetly spits it out and shakes her head. She comes back to the center of the ring and along with her brother shakes hands with everyone. Alex smirks and exits the ring and Justin and Ellie May exit leaving Bill and Alexis to start this non-title match as Referee Junior Hale calls for the bell.
Alexis locks up with the much taller man and finds herself backed into the ropes. Bill tries to throw her across the ring but Lexie reverses it, Bill comes off the ropes trying to hit a clothesline but Lexie Matrixes the attempt and Bill continues across the ring, stumbles off the ropes, and Lexie takes Bill down with an arm drag. Bill rolls out of the ring to have a sip from his “neck brace”, shakes his head, and tries to climb back into the ring. Lexie jumps and catches Bill on the apron with a head scissors and brings him back into the ring and takes him down with a deep arm drag, floats over and locks in a hammerlock. Bill works his way to his feet and Lexie transitions to an wristlock. Bill pushes Lexie into the ropes and throws her across the ring. Bill tries a back body drop but Lexie leapfrogs Bill and stops. Bill turns round and Lexie hits him with a dropkick which sends Bill out of the ring and back to Drunkey for another sip. Lexie shakes her head and tags in her brother. Bill climbs back into the ring and shakes his head, then turns to Ellie and asks about the mix of the PCPL affecting his vision. Ellie explains that there was a tag while he was out of the ring and that seems to clarify things. Alex locks up with Bill and Alex forces Bill to the ropes and throws Bill across the ring and hits a solid Spinebuster, slowing Bill down. Alex goes for the pin but Bill pushes off Alex before Hale can get a one count. Alex locks in a Sharpshooter which has Bill hurting but Bill works his way to the ropes, and then proceeds to pull himself up the ropes as Hale calls for the break, sending Alex flying! Alex just shakes his head as he tags in Alexis and Bill decides it's time to step out to give Justin a chance and tags him in. Justin climbs to the top rope and dives toward Alexis but Lexie grabs Justin...Powerslam! Lexie goes for the cover but Justin somehow rolls the shoulder. Lexie picks up Justin and hits a beautiful Butterfly Suplex. Lexie covers again but Justin rolls the shoulder at 2. Lexie picks up Justin and goes for a Belly to Back suplex but Justin swings around and hits a DDT. Justin throws off an imaginary elbow pad, runs the ropes...Shooting Spark Press! Justin gets a one count before Lexie presses him halfway across the ring. Lexie stands to face Justin but Justin hits the ropes and comes off with some kind of garbage dropkick that catches Lexie in the jaw and she falls awkwardly on the ropes. Justin tags Bill, then runs up the turnbuckle and hits the MOMENT of CLARITY. Bill picks up Lexie for the Decatur Drop and covers but Alex comes in to break it up and pulls Lexie to his corner to make the tag. Bill and Alex step up the pressure with some amazing moves which culminate in Alex hitting the Brainbustah on Bill and setting him up for the Curbstomp as the bell rings.
DECISION – Time Limit DrawAs the four weary combatants meet in the center of the ring for handshakes Power and Glory come running down the ramp followed by LD Williams and Stank. The foursome proceeds to clean house on the Darlings and Banned From Everywhere. Glory hits a Power-assisted C4 on both Bill and Justin as Stank hits a STANK-U on Alex and LD hits a wicked CANADIAN DESTROYER on Lexie. Glory points to Lexie and starts climbing the turnbuckle. LD picks up Lexie and hands her to Glory. C4 from the second turnbuckle! Bill and Justin try to get involved but Power and Glory hit a Double Elimination on Bill and Stank gets Justin SHITFACED! Glory picks up Justin and throws him out of the ring and begins stomping him on the floor. Finally down the ramp come Texpress, clangy poles in hand and Power, Glory, LD and Stank bail and back up the ramp, all four holding their hands over their heads as medics and Ellie May help Bill, Alex, and Alexis to their feet and to the back.
Russ: [/i] Dammit to hell, Razz! These two Jezebels and LD and Stank did it again!
Razz: [/i] Well, Power and Glory said it plainly this week. Both these teams feel they are being overlooked. Power and Glory are seen by many as too young, too inexperienced, while some people – not me, of course – claim that LD and Stank are over the hill.
Russ: [/i] But why engage in these beatdowns?
Razz: [/i] It makes a point, Russ. Actions speak louder than words, and this Sunday on Pay per view the battle lines have been drawn. Banned from Everywhere will be at less than a hundred percent. We likely could have new tag team champions.
Russ: [/i] Well, speaking of tag teams, here's a tag team match with a ton of star power. Our World Champion Chris Evans teams with the insane Rabbit Mask. Their opponents, the Intercontinental Champion Danny Taylor and former World Champion Firewoman.
Razz: [/i] This is a match with tons of animosity throughout it. The hatred between Firewoman and Chris Evans is legendary, and Taylor still has a debt to repay after Evans ended the career of his good friend Outback Jack.
Russ: [/i] And let's not forget just a few weeks ago when Moosehead Jack selected Rabbit Mask as the Pick your Poison opponent for Firewoman. That was not a pretty contest, and Fire feels she still owes her former partner for the beating she took there.
Razz: [/i] There's plenty of animosity to go around in this match Russ, this one will definitely be crazy wild.
Russ: [/i] Tag team action, let's go to the ring.
Danny Taylor & Firewoman vs. Chris Evans & Rabbit MaskAll the lights go out and a white fog engulfs the stage as
Another Me by Jeff Hardy begins to play. Rabbit appears through the fog carrying a head of red cabbage and a head of romaine lettuce...with faces drawn on them, of course. Rabbit casually takes bites out of them, talks to them, and laughs maniacally.
Iron Maiden's The Trooper brings the OOWF World Champion Chris Evans to the ring along with two gorgeous Belarusian women. As Evans gets to the bottom of the ramp he spins the ladies and slaps them on the behind sending them back up the ramp. Evans looks at Rabbit Mask in the ring, smirks, and climbs in.
“Firewoman” explodes from the speakers and anyone still in their seats jumps up as the first female Grand Slam Champion comes down the ramp, accompanied by the Intercontinental Champion Danny Taylor. Fire and Danny walk around the ring slapping hands with all the fans and finally get into the ring.
The squabbling starts before the bell as Evans makes fun of Fire's antics as of late, and Fire takes umbrage and grabs Evans and literally hurls him into the turnbuckle and begins laying fists and chops into him in an uncharacteristically vicious fashion as referee Mel Creech calls for the bell. Bunny tries to intercede and finds himself laid out with a roundhouse kick by Firewoman. Fire throws Evans into the opposite corner and follows up with a running high knee that staggers the champ. Fire goes to whip Evans into the ropes and then...she stops. Evans comes off the ropes and levels the foggy Firewoman with a huge Clothesline from Hades that brings her back to reality. Evans follows up with an Olympic Strike that staggers Firewoman, who starts looking for her corner, but before she can get there Evans ties her up with an armbar and taunts Taylor, who starts to come in but Creech intervenes, giving Rabbit Mask time to jump over the rope and put the boots to Firewoman before Creech turns around. Firewoman starts to work her way to her feet but Evans keeps taunting Danny who starts again to come in, Creech puts him out and while that is going on, Rabbit Mask leaps from the top rope with a kick to Fires head and she goes back to the mat. Finally Evans tags in Rabbit Mask who comes in with fists and feet flying before setting Firewoman up for Head drop #3, but Firewoman shifts her weight and comes down in a cradle position and gets a one count before Rabbit Mask rolls the shoulder. Fire has enough presence of mind to find her corner and tags in Danny Taylor as Rabbit Mask gets the tag to Chris Evans, who immediately regrets making the tag as Taylor goes ballistic and takes Evans to Suplex city with several suplexes culminating in a T-Bone Suplex that sends Evans to the mat. But Evans is able to rake the eyes and slow down Danny with some strikes to the midsection, and hitting him with a Superkick before scurrying to his corner to tag in Rabbit Mask. Rabbit Mask takes over with more strikes to the head of Danny while Evans decides his night is over and begins heading to the back. Rabbit Mask muscles up Danny for Head Drop #1 and covers but Firewoman breaks up the pinfall attempt. Rabbit goes to tag in Evans...but no one is there. Meanwhile Danny has made his way to the corner and in comes Firewoman, who walks up behind Rabbit Mask and taps him on the shoulder...he turns into a Belly to Belly Suplex! Fire picks RM up for a FIRESTOMP! Fire climbs the corner....Best Firesault Evar! Rabbit Mask is down and Fire locks in the Last Chancery! Rabbit Mask is caught in the middle of the ring and tells Mel Creech to stick a fork in him, he's done!
WINNER – Firewoman and Danny Taylor!Creech holds up Firewoman and Danny's hands and the Fire and Danny hug. As they play to the crowd Danny goes over to hold up Fire's hand and her mood again shifts and she takes offense and begins berating Danny and goes to hit him before her mood shifts again and she looks embarrassed. Danny smiles and nods his head as if he understands. As if anyone really did.
Russ: [/i] A great win for Firewoman and Danny Taylor, with a significant assist from Chris Evans.
Razz: [/i] Hey, I can't blame the champ. He's got a title defense in just four days at November Pain 6. Why take a chance on an injury in a non-title match like this one.
Russ: [/i] Well, Evans will live to fight another day. But the big question is, what in the blue hell is going on with Firewoman?
Razz: [/i] No one seems to know, Russ. Not even Firewoman. All I know is that this is becoming more freaky as time goes on.
Russ: [/i] Well, let's move from tag team action to a mini tournament to determine the number one contender for Danny Taylor's Intercontinental Title.
Razz: [/i] Matt Folz, Mai Muyo, Ricky Soaring Eagle, and DK Murphy are all in this mini tournament, and this has the potential to be great. I think that this tournament is Matt Folz's to lose, Russ.
Russ: [/i] Don't discount Mai Muyo. The young evangelist showed a hell of a lot of spunk two weeks ago in defeating Comrade Sharkoff in short order.
Razz: [/i] But the way she was humiliated last week, Russ, has to be on her mind.
Russ: [/i] Let's get to our first semi final, Matt Folz and Mai Muyo.
Intercontinental Title Contender Mini TournamentMatt Folz vs. Mai Muyo Battle without Honor or Humanity by Tomoyasu Hotei brings out the focused assassin Matt Folz.
Hero by Skillet brings Mai Muyo to the ring. She seems distracted after it was revealed that the Reverend Stan Fulton would have to go back to the states to deal with a family emergency.
Mai extends a hand to Folz who slaps it away. Mai steps up to Folz and slaps him in the face! The two get nose to nose without saying a word and tie up in the middle of the ring and Folz muscles Mai back into the ropes. Mai puts her hands up for a clean break but Folz lays some chops into Mai, which Mai returns with some solid strikes of her own. Mai whips Matt into the ropes and lands a solid dropkick on Folz which stuns the big man. Mai backs Folz into the ropes and lays in her share of chops and throws him across the ring. Mai goes for a High Knee which Folz partly evades and in the process Mai lands a little awkwardly and hurt herself a little.
Folz comes back with some solid strikes and slows Mai down a bit but Mai recovers and fights out of an attempted STF and reverses into a rollup for one. Mai comes up swinging and hits a few good strikes on Folz and rolls him into a small package for two. Mai picks up Folz and throws him into the ropes and pulls off a Sidewalk Slam! Mai jumps up and celebrates, then climbs the top rope. Savior Splash....but nobody was home. Mai fell hard on the mat and Folz wastes no time in locking in the Tazzmission. Mai fights for a very long time but starts to fade and decides to tap out....
WINNER – Matt FolzFolz leaves the ring hands held high to the boos of the crowd, as Mai leaves the ring dejected in the wake of another failure.
Russ: [/i] Mai Muyo just didn't bring it at all tonight.
Razz: [/i] Against someone like Matt Folz you have to be ready at all times or you will be hurt and fortunately for Mai, she's not hurt badly. Just her pride.
Russ: [/i] Well, our next semi-final pits the up and coming DK Murphy against Ricky Soaring Eagle
Razz: [/i] Ricky has really shown some movement lately to ease off on the violence and focus on the in ring action, and it's paying dividents, I think.
Russ: [/i] But this young DK Murphy, he's really gaining some traction.
Razz: [/i] No doubt, he's the real deal. Murphy could steal this thing.
Russ: [/i] Second semi-final, let's go to the ring.
DK Murphy vs. Ricky Soaring EagleThe Dropkick Murphys bring out newcomer DK Murphy.
Iron Maiden's “Run to the Hills” brings out Native American Ricky Soaring Eagle. Soaring Eagle appears more focused than we've seen in the past.
Referee Junior Hale calls for the bell and Murphy extends a hand to the Native American. Amazingly, Soaring Eagle takes the handshake without incident.
What follows is your typical big man match with lots of strikes and chops, DK trying the big power moves and Ricky Soaring Eagle just muscling Murphy around almost at will. At one point RSE actually got DK Murphy up for a powerslam but could only get a two count. RSE keeps his temper reigned in as he throws Murphy across the ring but Murphy reverses and hits a Sidewalk Slam of his own! Murphy takes no time in locking in the Rear Naked Choke and Ricky Soaring Eagle finds himself in the middle of the ring and has to tap out.
WINNER – DK MurphyMurphy is excited and celebrating but Ricky Soaring Eagle is not in a partying mood and attacks DK Murphy with a vengeance! He picks Murphy up for a Spike Piledriver, then walks out of the ring and grabs a folding chair from ringside. He lays it on the mat, picks up Murphy and hits RETURN TO THE EARTH ON THE STEEL CHAIR! The move busts Murphy open and Soaring Eagle continues the attack with the chair until Murphy is a bloody mess and Security has to pull the bit Native American off and get him to the back. Trainers come out to help DK Murphy to the back.
Russ: [/i] So much for Ricky Soaring Eagles anger management issues.
Razz: [/i] He thought he had it and with DK Murphy all it takes is a momentary distraction and he can lock in that Rear Naked Choke and it's over.
Russ: [/i] Fans, the trainers are looking over DK Murphy and we'll be able to tell you something after this next match. First a reminder that the next OOWF Pay Per View, November Pain 6 is just four days away live from the Great Gates of Kiev in the Ukraine. During the post game show we'll run down the whole card for you. Up next, a DDT Ironman Heavy Metal Championship match featuring two absolutely crazy people.
Razz: [/i] Who could both whip your ass, Russ. Glory is just a crazy woman who is crazy good, probably better than anyone gives her credit for, and Ghosthead, all this Blood Moon Rising stuff not withstanding, is one for the ages. His time is still to come.
Russ: [/i] Submissions or knockouts only in this contest, this will be insane. Let's go to the ring.
Glory (C) vs. Ghosthead – DDT Ironman Heavy Metal Title MatchThe lights darken and
Sevendust’s “My Ruin” comes on the jumbotron as Ghosthead walks down the ramp. White fog pours from under the ring covering the mat and ringside as Ghosthead enters the ring. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and sits down awaiting his opponent.
A familiar song fills the arena as the crowd jumps to it's feet but begins raining boos as Glory comes out wearing a t-shirt and flannel shirt open on top with blue jeans and work boots. She wears the DDT Ironman Heavy Metal title around her waist and carries a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat. She stops at the top of the ramp and raises her hands. As she walks down the ramp she looks into one of the cameras and says, “This is for you Jack. All for you.”
Glory unfastens the DDT Ironman Heavy Metal belt from around her waist, walks up to the slightly larger man and holds up the belt in a taunting motion. Ghosthead smiles. She hands the belt to the referee and says to Ghosthead,
“I've got your Moon right here.” and slaps her own behind. The insult apparently has an effect on Ghosthead as the referee rings the bell and Ghosthead begins stalking Glory. She keeps herself close to the middle of the ring and is able to slip behind Ghosthead landing kicks and strikes to the legs and neck. They seem to have momentary, but minimal effect on the Death Knell. Glory hits a drop toe hold and instead of following up on the legs grabs the hair of Ghosthead and begins pounding hes head on the mat and drives a knee between the shoulder blades and then tries for a Camel Clutch. Ghosthead stands up, and Glory is forced to shift to a Cobra Clutch, but Glory doesn't get it locked in good before Ghosthead rams Glory into a turnbuckle, knocking the breath out of her and slowing her down. Ghosthead picks up Glory by the throat and looks her in the eye. We hear Ghosthead say,
“You are like your father. You mock me. You mock the Blood Moon. You will pay in blood.” And with that Ghosthead spews the Black Mist into Glory's face. Glory flails and thrashes around the ring but keeps throwing fists even though she can't see. She reaches her corner and grabs the bat and swings wildly in an attempt to slow the Death Knell, but Ghosthead easily grabs the bat from Glory and uses one of the barbs to open up one of those old wounds on her head. Soon Glory's blood is mixed with the Black mist and is an absolute mess as Ghosthead smiles. She finds her feet but not for long as Ghosthead locks in the Phantasmagoria! Glory fights but starts to fade...
When the Blood Moon appears on the Jumbotron and Firewoman walks out? She walks to the bottom of the ramp and slowly holds out her hand to Ghosthead. Ghosthead smiles, and drops Glory. Ghosthead walks out of the ring and follows Firewoman up the ramp and to the back, which leaves Referee Junior Hale more confused than usual and finally just calls for the bell. The fans are cheering until Hale picks up Glory's hand, which elicits a ton of boos. Hale calls over the ring announcer and explains the decision. “Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match, as a result of a submission, Glory”
WINNER by “Submission” – Glory Glory's sister Power comes out to help her up to her feet as Hale hands her the belt, and once Glory gets to her feet she pushes her away and demands a microphone.
“When my sister and I came here, no one wanted a damn thing to do with us. The people in the back wanted us to be pretty dancing monkeys. To be a comedy act. But one man, one wonderful man, saw what was inside us, he wanted us to succeed. He wanted us to be his legacy. This belt. This belt was held by some of the greats...people like Firewoman
(Crowd cheers)...Alexander Darling
(Crowd cheers) … Chad Madison
(Crowd cheers) … Davin Moreland
(Crowd cheers)......the late Spin Hansen
(Crowd cheers).... Stank
(Crowd boos) … our World Heavyweight Champion Chris Evans.
(Crowd boos)...yes, all these greats held this title...and others like Ladder...Chair...A pocketful of Glitter...a Burger King Whopper Wrapper....even our own GM Selena has held the title twice, and she can't even beat an egg or whip cream!
(Crowd boos) Jack wanted this belt to stand for something, not to be a joke. But making this title something other than a joke would be like making Firewoman a born again virgin.
(Crowd boos) I was there with Jack in the ambulance, in the hospital room with my sister. He wanted us to make him proud. Tonight, I tried to make him proud. But his belt, the one he tried to make legitimate, you want to make a joke of it. I won't be a part of it. Jack showed me this week that a title doesn't make your legacy, you make it. This title, it means nothing. I relinquish this title, and God help whoever reclaims it.”
Glory drops to her knees and lays the DDT Ironman Heavy Metal Title belt in the middle of the ring.
“I'm sorry Jack, I tried.”
Glory drops the microphone and gets to her feet. Power tries to console her sister but Glory pushes her back on her behind, which elicits more boos from the crowd. Glory goes up the ramp alone, with her sister trailing far behind. After the two siblings disappear behind the curtain and the officials try to figure out what to do Justin Sane appears from underneath the ring. He sees the belt laying in the middle of the ring, looks around, and runs in and grabs it and takes off to the cheers of the crowd.
Russ: [/i] Did I just see what I thought I saw? Is Justin Sane now the DDT Ironman Heavy Metal Champion?
Razz: [/i] It looks like that could be the ultimate outcome of all this, Russ. Ghosthead had this match won, but for whatever reason Firewoman came out and Ghosthead left with her, and Referee Junior Hale ruled that when he left the arena area, he quit the match, and since countouts aren't appropriate in this contest, he ruled it a submission.
Russ: [/i] So Glory relinquishes the DDT Ironman Heavy Metal Championship unbeaten, and it appears that Justin Sane is the new champion. Razz, you have word from the locker room?
Razz: [/i] Yes, it appears that Murphy may have a possible concussion and a possible separated shoulder but he is right now declining medical attention and insisting on competing in this number one contender for the Intercontinental Title match.
Russ: [/i] Well, against anyone else, I would think it was brave but foolhardy. Against Matt Folz this is just suicidal.
Razz: [/i] Russ, you've got to grab for the gold when you can, strike while the iron is hot, and that's what Murphy's doing.
Russ: [/i] Like it or not, this match is going on, let's go to the ring.
Intercontinental Title Contender Mini Tournament finals
Matt Folz vs. DK Murphy Battle without Honor or Humanity by Tomoyasu Hotei brings out the focused assassin Matt Folz. Folz knows how close he is to an Intercontinental Title shot, and he is willing to do anything to make it happen.
The Dropkick Murphys bring out newcomer DK Murphy. Murphy is bandaged and is still holding his shoulder but he is not going to go out without a fight.
Referee Angelo Barrios calls for the bell and Folz walks over to the ropes and parts the ropes for Murphy to leave, but Murphy charges Folz and sends him out to the floor. That infuriates Folz as he comes back into the ring and the two start throwing fists and it seems very even until Folz punches Murphy in that shoulder he was holding. Folz grabs the arm and cranks it solidly and comes up with a hammerlock that has Murphy screaming. He keeps shaking his head until Folz gives it one more crank and we hear an audible pop and Murphy begins tapping like a madman and trainers rush the ring.
WINNER by Submission – Matt Folz Folz looks at Murphy with distain and walks away as trainers assess the situation before moving Murphy.
Russ: [/i] Well, I wish I was wrong. It looks like DK Murphy will be heading to the hospital tonight.
Razz: [/i] Maybe not, Russ. Folz could have just popped that shoulder out of place, there's no way of knowing for sure. But at the least they'll want to X-ray that area before they do anything.
Russ: [/i] Fans, if we hear anything we'll let you know, in the meantime, our main event is next, and it's a fatal four way for the Onslaught title.
Razz: [/i] The Kai will defend his title tonight against the Genetic Freak Davin Moreland, the Insane Russian Comrade Sharkoff, and Power from Power and Glory.
Russ: [/i] That young woman isn't small at 5-11, but she's honestly in there with some huge men.
Razz: [/i] Neither one of Wyatt Cox's girls intimidate easily, but you have to wonder what's on her mind tonight after seeing her sister get mauled at the hands of Ghosthead.
Russ: [/i] This could easily be Moreland's night tonight, while the Comrade, well, thanks for playing.
Razz: [/i] Don't dismiss Sharkoff out of hand, anything can happen in one of these matches.
Russ: [/i] A Fatal Four Way for the Onslaught Title, let's go to the ring.
The Kai (C) vs. Power vs. Davin Moreland vs. Comrade Sharkoff – Onslaught Title Match Kelly Clarkson brings Power to the ring for her first individual title shot. She appears more focused than she ever has for a match, wearing a black one piece and a black collar that starkly contrasts with her pink hair.
“Moscow Calling” by Gorky Park brings out the pride of Russia, Comrade Sharkoff. He climbs into the ring and stays as far away from Power as possible. The Comrade's disdain of having to work with women in the wrestling ring is well known, and his actions make it known that he wants nothing to do with Power.
Notorious fires up and out comes the Grand Slam and Six Pack champion Davin Moreland, who panders to the crowd for what seems like an eternity. As Moreland enters the ring Sharkoff begins yelling at him, while Power walks right up to him and offers her hand. Moreland, unaccustomed as he is to civility in the ring, is caught off guard but shakes the young rookie's hand.
And then
"Gal A Bubble" by Konshens brings out the Onslaught Champion The Kai! Accompanying The Kai is A'isha al-Takriti. The Kai pauses and mugs at the top of the ramp until A'isha prods him onward. The Kai climbs into the ring and mounts the turnbuckle to play to the crowd. He jumps down and turns toward Power and smiles as only The Kai can. Power sweetly smiles and offers her hand, which The Kai takes and shakes in a little more than friendly manner until A'isha steps in. Power offers her hand to A'isha who looks at her with disdain. As Davin and The Kai shake hands as is tradition Power goes to shake with the Comrade, who commences to jaw jack about having to be in the ring with a woman. The Kai and Davis just shake their heads but Power pursues the matter and Sharkoff finally takes her hand...
...and Power pulls in Sharkoff for a Belly to Belly suplex and lays in a couple of kicks as Referee Davis Hightower calls for the bell. Power picks the Comrade up for a Snap Suplex and a cover, but Moreland pulls Power off. Power turns to do battle with the big man but instead he high fives her and points back to the Comrade while Moreland locks up with the champ. As Power continues to work over the Comrade with a variety of leglocks, Davin and the Kai exchange high impact power moves. Moreland tries to pull The Kai in for a solid armbar but The Kai throws the huge man across the ring and sends him TO THE SAND! Moreland is stunned briefly as The Kai tries to lock in an armbar of his own. Moreland of course picks up The Kai and throws him into the ropes for a Sidewalk Slam. Moreland tries to cover but Power leaves the Comrade and pulls Moreland off. Power begins working on Moreland's legs throwing solid Muay Thai kicks that slow the big man and tries to hit a Belly to Belly suplex, but Moreland just plants himself and HE hits the Belly to Belly suplex on Power! Power shakes her head as Moreland follows up by throwing her into the ropes and while Power ducks the clothesline she bounces off the ropes with a big Thesz Press! That...goes nowhere as Moreland just catches her and flips her with a Powerslam! Moreland smoothly floats over and locks in the STF!
Meanwhile The Kai has been dominating Comrade Sharkoff and throws him across the ring and hits the Comrade with the PIPELINE! The Kai goes for the pin, but Hightower is busy asking Power if she wants to give up and she screams NO! Finally Hightower sees the pin and counts
1, 2, 3!
WINNER AND STILL ONSLAUGHT CHAMPION – The Kai!Moreland releases the hold on Power and helps her up and shakes her hand and whispers something in her ear that makes her smile. Power walks over to The Kai and gives him a handshake and the Kai pulls her in for a hug of respect...or is it? The Kai whispers something in Power's ear and she blushes. Sharkoff begins arguing with the referee and refuses to shake anyones hand and walks out of the ring. The Kai walks up to Moreland and words are exchanged as some pushing and shoving starts between the two and it takes Referee Hightower, A'isha, and Power to keep the two men apart. Finally Moreland and Power leave the ring, and The Kai climbs the turnbuckle to show his Onslaught Title belt to the crowd.
Russ: [/i] What an incredible Main Event Razz!
Razz: [/i] Davin Moreland would have had the win against almost anyone else here but Power. She and her sister have already proven that they can absorb an unbelievable amount of punishment and still come back. But kudos to The Kai for retaining his title tonight.
Russ: [/i] Folks the word we have from our medical team is that the injury to DK Murphy is just a dislocated shoulder and he should be able to appear Sunday at the Pay Per View.
Razz: [/i] It's great to hear that someone doesn't suffer a major injury right before a Pay Per View and can make it to the big stage.
Russ: [/i] Folks, more about November Pain 6 on the postgame show. From Minsk in Belarus, for Razz, good night everyone.
