Russ: Welcome to OOWF Midweek Mayhem, on the heels of Sunday's November Pain 6, we are live in Codru Moldovia. As always, I am joined by former ECW Champion Razz.
Razz: Russ, Sunday night was off da chain, and tonight the tag team champions, Banned from Everywhere face off in a No Disqualification match for the Tag Team Championships against LD Williams and Stank!
Russ: Six person tag team action as our new World Champion Firewoman teams with her husband and sister in law, the Darling Twins against former champion Chris Evans and Power and Glory
Razz: That one won't be pretty. And The Kai defends his Onslaught title against Rabbit Mask
Russ: But first up, the Genetic Freak versus the Young Evangelist. Davin Moreland against Mai Muyo, let's go to the ring.
Davin Moreland vs. Mai Muyo Notorious fires up and out comes the Grand Slam and Six Pack champion Davin Moreland, who panders to the crowd for what seems like an eternity before climbing into the ring.
Hero by Skillet brings Mai Muyo to the ring. She seems sad that Rev Stan Fulton hasn't been around much during the week.
Mai walks over and extends a hand to Moreland, who places a hand on Mai's shoulder and shakes her hand. They step back and Referee Angelo Barrios calls for the bell. Mai charges right in with solid kicks to the legs of Moreland. Mai pushes him back to the ropes and throws the big man across the ring. Moreland comes charging off with a clothesline but Mai ducks it and nails Moreland with a dropkick and follows it up with a springboard splash that gets her a one count before Moreland presses her halfway across the ring. Mai leaps to the top rope and tries for a body press, but Moreland catches her with a Really Good Diamond Cutter. Barrios counts the pinfall, and this one is over.
WINNER – Davin MorelandMoreland, ever the gentleman, helps Mai to her feet, shakes her hand, and in a sportsmanlike gesture, holds up her hand to the crowd. Mai weakly smiles, disappointed in another loss, and walks to the back as Moreland absorbs the accolades of the crowd.
Russ: Well, what can we say. Moreland is getting back into fighting form, but the same cannot be said for Mai Muyo.
Razz: Mai is extremely distracted, and I don't know what it's going to take to get her back to her old self.
Russ: Well, up next, tag team action as the former champions and the winningest team in OOWF history takes on an unlikely pair in Ricky Soaring Eagle and Comrade Sharkoff.
Razz: This should be a fun little exhibition for Texpress and hopefully they'll be able to get back on the winning track.
Russ: Tag team action, let's get to the ring.
Texpress vs. Ricky Soaring Eagle & Comrade Sharkoff Iron Maiden's “Run to the Hills” brings out Native American Ricky Soaring Eagle. Soaring Eagle appears more focused than we've seen in the past.
“Moscow Calling” by Gorky Park brings out the pride of Russia, Comrade Sharkoff. Sharkoff tonight is accompanied by his handler Mila Kunis. They enter the ring and shake hands with Ricky Soaring Eagle as Kunis picks up a microphone.
“Did you miss me? I have been engaged in mission to discover secrets of stupid American actor-producer. But now my long time family friend Comrade Sharkoff, Russia's greatest living athlete, has words for you.”
Kunis hands the microphone to Sharkoff. This will not be pretty.
“
The noble Native American and I have put aside differences tonight to take on common enemy. Texas garbage has been making inappropriate and unwanted advances on my family friend Mila. Now we will join together to make Texans pay, and then Comrade Sharkoff and Ricky Soaring Eagle challenge for Tag Team Titles and become winners of all titles in O-double-F”Comrade hands the microphone to Ricky.
“Come out, phony cowboys. Time for you to FEEL MY PAIN!”
Big & Rich's
"Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" brings out the former Tag Team Champions Texpress. Chad and Zane take their time working the crowd and eventually get into the ring. Chad tips his hat at Mila which brings Sharkoff face to face with Chad, explaining that Mila is off limits, while Zane and Ricky start jaw jacking. The talking escalates into fighting, and Mel Creech calls for the bell to start this thing.
Sharkoff backs Chad into the ropes and pummels him with hard fists. Sharkoff throws Chad across the ring and nails him with a big clothesline. Sharkoff throws Chad into his corner and tags in Ricky Soaring Eagle who presses the attack on Chad. Soaring Eagle tries to throw Chad across the ring but Chad reverses and hits the big man with the Triple Dropkick! Chad tags in Zane who opens up on Ricky and the big man takes Ricky to SUPLEX SCHOOL. Zane tags in Chad and gets Ricky up in the Torture Rack...yes, it's DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS! Chad covers Ricky while Zane keeps the Comrade at bay and Creech counts three!
WINNERS – TexpressTexpress gets their hands raised and Chad tips an imaginary hat to Mila Kunis as he leaves the ring, to the fury of both Kunis and the Comrade.
Russ: Another great win for Texpress.
Razz: In spite of the bluster from the Comrade and Ricky, derailing the Texpress is easier said than done.
Russ: A reminder that the OOWF's next Pay Per View, New Years Evil 9, emanates live from Paris France on December 30th, just over four weeks away. Up next, two former champions face off.
Razz: Danny Taylor lost his Intercontinental Title at November pain on Sunday to Matt Folz. Tonight Danny gets a match against the man who took out a great friend of his, El Lobo Sangiento, in Ghosthead.
Russ: This match could headline anywhere across the nation, let's go to the ring for more action.
Danny Taylor vs. GhostheadThe lights darken and
Sevendust’s “My Ruin” comes on the Jumbotron as Ghosthead walks down the ramp. White fog pours from under the ring covering the mat and ringside as Ghosthead enters the ring. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and sits down awaiting his opponent.
POD's Here comes the Boom brings out the former Intercontinental Champion Danny Taylor for this non-title match. Danny smiles and waves to the fans.
Both men step to the middle of the ring as Referee Junior Hale wastes no time in calling for the bell. Though the history between these two is intense, Taylor still offers Ghosthead his hand. Slowly a smile appears on Ghosthead's face and he offers his hand. Both men stare at one another for a long time, then lockup. Danny powers Ghosthead into the ropes, throws him into the ropes, and catches Ghosthead in a side slam. Danny covers but Ghosthead kicks out at one. Danny locks on an armbar but Ghosthead works his way up to a vertical base and pushes Danny into the ropes. Ghosthead tries to throw Danny across the ring but he holds onto the armbar. Ghosthead tries to hiptoss Danny but Danny refuses to release the armbar and Ghosthead ends up on the bottom. Ghosthead again works to his feet and pushes Danny into the ropes, this time raking his eyes and forcing him to release the armbar. Ghosthead throws Danny across the ring but Danny reverses and goes for a big Clothesline but Ghosthead ducks and pounces of the other side with an Eidelon that stuns Danny. Ghosthead muscles Danny up for a Graveyard Smash but Hale only gets a one count. As Danny tries to work his way up Ghosthead is able to lock on the PHANTASMAGORIA! Danny tries to work his way to the ropes but is fading.....
When Firewoman walks down the ramp holding the pendant and the World Championship. As she reaches the bottom of the ramp she raises her arms in a motion to Ghosthead and he releases the hold. Firewoman then turns and walks back up the ramp and Ghosthead smiles, leaves the ring and follows her. Referee Junior Hale starts counting, and before the two have made it to the top of the ramp Hale's count reaches ten and he calls for the bell.
WINNER BY COUNTOUT – Danny TaylorDanny is confused when he gets his hand raised but he takes it in stride as he leaves the ring and waves to the fans.
Russ: I've asked this before, but what in the blue hell is going on with Firewoman and Ghosthead?
Razz: No one seems to know, Russ. All we know is it seems to be very intense and is just weird.
Russ: Like that's anything new around here. Folks, next up our new Intercontinental Champion, Matt Folz, takes on the exciting young competitor DK Murphy.
Razz: I got to see Murphy in the gym this week. He's hella strong and has a will to win, but Matt Folz, well, no one should ever sell him short.
Russ: Folz defeating Danny Taylor Sunday night at November Pain. Let's see how the champ fares against this youngster. Let's go to the ring.
Matt Folz vs. DK Murphy – Non-title match Battle without Honor or Humanity by Tomoyasu Hotei brings out the new Intercontinental Champion Matt Folz.
The Dropkick Murphys bring out newcomer DK Murphy. His record has been steadily improving, but Murphy is still looking for that breakthrough moment and hopes it could come tonight.
As Murphy enters the ring Matt Folz walks up to the rookie and shows off the belt, in an attempt at intimidation of the young rookie, but Murphy just nods and backs into his corner. Referee Mel Creech calls for the bell and this one is underway.
Lockup in the center of the ring and Murphy forces Folz back into the ropes. Folz reverses and lays in a chop as he breaks. Murphy reverses and starts laying in forearms and then goes to whip Folz across the ring but Folz reverses and goes for a sidewalk slam but Murphy counters it into a DDT and gets a one count. Murphy tries to follow up with a whip to the ropes but Folz reverses and hits a big clothesline that stuns Murphy. That was the opening that Folz needed as he picks up Murphy for a big German Suplex, then locks in the FOLZMISSION that has the rookie tapping out quickly.
WINNER – Matt Folz Folz continues to hold onto the Folzmission and finally breaks when Creech threatens Disqualification. Creech hands Folz his title belt and Folz holds up the belt, then drop it to continue his attack on Murphy when Danny Taylor comes down the ramp. Folz smirks and holds up his belt for Taylor to see. Folz decides to pick up Murphy and throw him out of the ring and starts to follow but Taylor gets between the two and Folz decides to just walk away with the win.
Russ: Matt Folz had better watch his step. He almost had that decision reversed on him.
Razz: Russ, I talked with Folz this week. He doesn't really care about the Intercontinental title. He views it as a stepping stone for his real challenge. He wants the World Heavyweight title now held by Firewoman, and he'll do just about anything to get it.
Russ: Speaking of people who will do just about anything, we have an Onslaught title match next where the Kai defends his against a man who will do just about anything, Rabbit Mask
Razz: The insane bunny has proven himself to be double tough. Can he keep it together against a double tough competitor like The Kai?
Russ: Onslaught Title match, let's go to the ring.
The Kai vs. Rabbit Mask – Onslaught Title Match All the lights go out and a white fog engulfs the stage as
Another Me by Jeff Hardy begins to play. Rabbit appears through the fog carrying a pineapple? The pineapple is carved so that it appears that there is a face on it, of course. Rabbit casually takes bites out of it, talks to it, and laughs maniacally.
And then
"Gal A Bubble" by Konshens brings out the Onslaught Champion The Kai! Accompanying The Kai is A'isha al-Takriti. The Kai pauses and mugs at the top of the ramp until A'isha prods him onward. The Kai climbs into the ring and mounts the turnbuckle to play to the crowd. The Kai turns to his challenger, spotting the pineapple and raises the eyebrow. While he doesn't have a microphone, I feel assured that the Kai instructed Rabbit Mask what to do with the pineapple. As The Kai turns to help A'isha leave the ring, Rabbit Mask applies the remainders of the pineapple to the back of The Kai's head!
Rabbit Mask has received his first warningRabbit Mask follows up with a number of chops and kicks, then picks up The Kai for Head Drop #1, but the Kai blocks it and reverses it into a REEF BOTTOM that took a lot out of Rabbit Mask! The Kai picks up Rabbit Mask and throws Rabbit into the ropes and takes him TO THE SAND! The Kai stands up and waits for Rabbit to get to his feet....PIPELINE! The Kai covers and Referee Mel Creech counts to 3!
Winner and Still Onslaught Champion – The Kai! A'isha hands the Kai his title belt and he again starts pandering to the crowd before working his way back up the ramp.
Russ: Another outstanding win for The Kai!
Razz: I'm surprised that Rabbit Mask was able to get a pineapple, he complained all week that he just couldn't get any good produce here in Moldova.
Russ: Folks, a reminder about New Years Evil 9, coming to you in four and a half weeks on December 30th live on Pay Per view. Next Wednesday Night Midweek Mayhem originates from Bucharest, Romania, the hometown of one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, Nadia Comăneci, the first gymnast to score a perfect ten
Razz: Well, speaking of perfect 10's Russ, we've got a few in this next match.
Russ: Indeed we do as our World Heavyweight champion Firewoman teams with her husband and sister-in-law Alexander and Alexis Darling to take on former champion Chris Evans and Power and Glory.
Razz: Power and Glory's history against the entire Darling family is well known, and the animosity between Chris Evans and not only the Darlings but the Neals as well, so for Power and Glory to set that aside and work with Evans is a testament to just how much they don't like the Darlings.
Russ: This one will not be for the faint of heart, let's go to the ring.
Firewoman & The Darlings vs. Chris Evans & Power & Glory Iron Maiden's The Trooper brings the OOWF World Champion Chris Evans to the ring along with Power and Glory. The twins are wearing all black with their black collars and chains. The twins are strangely somber in appearance after the events of earlier in the evening. As the trio enters the ring all the lights go out.....save for a single shimmering light above the stage
Music that hasn't been heard in a long time pours from the speakers as a spotlight illuminates three figures in Run DEA hoodies. The trip pulls off their hoodies in unison to reveal Alexander and Alexis Darling and Firewoman, wearing her World Championship Belt around her waist and the necklace back around her neck. As a single unit the trio begins walking with purpose down the ramp.
Meanwhile the sight of the Darling clan has flipped a switch in Power and Glory, who appear enraged and ready to attack their foes. Chris Evans holds the twins back until the Darlings are close to ringside and then he lets go of the chains and the twins scale the turnbuckles and fly into the Darlings, chains flying. Evans follows and picks up Firewoman from the pile and begins tearing into her for all he has. In just a matter of moments Evans and Fire have reopened the wounds from Sunday night. Power and Glory roll the woozy Darlings into the ring as Lexie tries to get up but she's met with a chain to the head by Glory who gets on top of Lexie and, wrapping the chain around her hand, starts blasting Lexie with fists before picking her up and throwing her out onto the floor. Power, meanwhile, takes a page from Comrade Sharkoff's book and wraps her chain around her bicep and clotheslines Alex out of his boots before leaping high and driving the bicep and chain across his throat. Power rolls out of the ring and picks up a folding chair and slides it into the ring, where Glory picks up Alex and positions the chair behind them. Power moves into position to help Glory plant Alex with a C4 on the chair! The twins start to pick up Alex and lift him onto the turnbuckle when Lexie, bleeding from the head, enters the ring with a clangy pole! Glory turns around at an inopportune moment and gets nailed in the head! Power ducks and wraps the chain around both hands and uses it as a defensive weapon until she's able to get a hold of the chair and Power and Lexie dual in the middle of the ring. As Alex begins to stir security pours out of the back and separate the warring parties briefly before Evans launches himself at Alex and Glory attacks Fire and Lexie goes back after Power and the brawl continues until reinforcements from the back break the brawl up and begin dragging the participants backstage, hopefully for good this time.
DECISION – No Contest
Russ: Why am I not surprised at this, Razz?
Razz: The blood battles between the Darlings and Power and Glory are not over by a long shot, Russ. And I'm sure that Chris Evans isn't done with Firewoman either.
Russ: Well if we thought that was something, our main event tonight is a World Tag Team Title contest, no disqualification with Banned From Everywhere defending against Stank and LD Williams.
Razz: Banned from Everywhere escaped with a pinfall win over Power and Glory on Sunday at November Pain. Will their luck hold out tonight?
Russ: Championship action, let's get to the ring.
Banned From Everywhere (c) vs Stank and LD Williams – World Tag Team Championship Contest – No Disqualifications Nonpoint's “Skin” brings the challengers LD Williams and Stank to the ring. They seem calm and collected, which is no surprise since they've been in this kind of match before.
Insane In the Brain brings the whacky team of
Banned From Everywhere to the ring. Awesome Bill form Dawsonville aboard Drunkey, and Justin Sane is atop Drunkette, each have their championship title belts around their donkey's necks. Behind this whole mess is Ellie May from Elijay on her Likkercycle.
Awesome Bill and Justin approach Stank and LD in the center of the ring. Bill hands a quart jar of PCPL to LD while taking the lid off of another. He raises the jar high to toast LD. LD starts to take a sip, then slams the Mason Jar into Bills head and the jar shatters and Bill starts bleeding. Justin asks Stank for five bucks so he can go get bandages and Stank backhands him into next week as Referee Davis Hightower calls for the Bell. Stank picks up Justin and pitches him out over the top rope and onto Drunkey, as LD and Stank both begin working over Bill in the corner. It doesn't look good for Justin and Bill as Stank has Bill up for a Stank-U and connects...as Power and Glory come down the ramp, still bloodied from their earlier match, and distract Stank from going for the pin. The twins walk around the ring, seemingly unsure as to what to do...when Alex and Lexie come down the ramp and Glory throws all reason to the wind and takes off after them. The brawl at ringside between the two sets of twins has the crowd on it's feet and LD and Stank bemused as they watch security escort the foursome up the ramp and behind the curtain. Meanwhile Ellie May has gotten to Bill and administered a medicinal dose of PCPL and Bill is coming back to life. He stands up, PCPL and Blood pouring down his face, and faces Stank with a fury we've never seen from Awesome Bill. He tears into Stank with wild fists and chops, and as LD tries to come up behind him Bill throws a mule kick into the old Fishing Tackle that slows LD.
Bill throws Stank into the corner, then throws LD in behind him, then hurls himself into both of them. Bill tries to cover LD but Stank drags him off at one. Bill sees Justin climbing back onto the apron and picks him up and lawn darts him into LD and Stank and they go down. Bill jumps on top of the pile and Referee Davis Hightower actually gives BFE a two count before Stank powers out.
Stank is infuriated at the turn of events and has had enough, picking up Justin and hurling him at Bill. Bill catches Justin and sets him down, which gives LD time to clip Bill from behind. LD picks up Bill...Canadian Destroyer! LD turns to Stank who picks Bill up for the Stank-U while LD clotheslines Justin out of his socks before picking him up for a Canadian Destroyer and throwing him out of the ring. Bill is down in the ring and Stank locks in Catch-22! With no one around to help and Bill in the middle of the ring, he has to give up.
WINNERS AND New Tag Team Champions – LD Williams and StankLD and Stank are handed the Tag Team Title belts and they high five each other and hold the belts up to the crowd that boos loudly. LD and Stank shrug their shoulders and leave the ring and head for the back.
Russ: Well, all weird things must come to an end, and so does the reign of Banned From Everywhere.
Razz: The boys almost got a serious break when Power and Glory came out, but the Darlings came right after the Neals, and BFE ended up DOA. Congratulations to Stank and LD Williams.
