OOWF Midweek Mayhem
Live from Pamplona, Spain
Russ: From the home of the annual San Fermin Festival each July and the ceremonial running of the bulls, we welcome you to Midweek Mayhem. I'm joined as always by the former FTW Champion and the leader this week of Aces and Eights, Razz.
Razz: Not this week, Russ. It's Joseph Park's turn.
Russ: On the show tonight our main event is a tag team championship contest with Power and Glory defending their championships against Phoenix Rising.
Razz: The OOWF Invitational continues with the Sweet Sixteen, and in what should be a true battle Ecosystem faces off against Stank.
Russ: But first, Justin Sane faces off against Comrade Sharkoff.
Razz: What did we do to deserve this?
Russ: Let's face it, this will be insane, and not in a good way. Let's go to the ring.
Justin Sane Vs Comrade Sharkoff “Moscow Calling” by Gorky Park brings out the pride of Russia, Comrade Sharkoff. The Comrade picks up a microphone.
“
How is is that I keep getting joke matches. Last week I get Rabid Mass, this week I get drunken hillbilly friend. Come on down Jasmin Slade, I beat you like Red Headed Steptoe, then Comrade Sharkoff becomes champion of all O-double-F for pride of Mother Russia!”
Insane In the Brain brings Justin Sane to the ring on board Drunkette. He waves and holds on to the reigns as if Drunkette was a bucking broncho instead of lumbering down the ring slower than the Big Show. Justin stands up on the saddle and tries to vault over the ropes...and doesn't even make it to the apron. Justin finally makes it to the steps and climbs into the ring, and the referee calls for the bell.
Sharkoff tries to lock up with Justin, but Justin asks to borrow five dollars. Sharkoff looks down, too late realizing he has no pickets, and Justin tries to grab the leg of Sharkoff to take him over. Sharkoff throws Justin off his leg, and flings Justin to the ropes where he rebounds and ends up knocking over the big Russian! Justin is shocked as Sharkoff, still holding his chain, starts to get up, and Justin hits the ropes and dropkicks the chain into Sharkoff's face, knocking him across the top and middle ring ropes. Justin leaps to the top turnbuckle – MOMENT OF CLARITY! Justin is able to climb back up into the ring, waiting for Sharkoff to get up. I think you know what's coming next.
Justin screams “DOUGHAWK!” All the lights go out, we hear the sounds of 17 plate glass windows falling from the 12th floor, a trumpet playing “Call Me Maybe” backwards, the Vienna Boys Choir singing the theme song from Breaking Bad, and Tina Fey in an endorsement of Sarah Palin. When the lights come up, Sharkoff is on his back in the middle of the ring wearing that same lingerie that Tensai did on Raw. Justin is creeped out – who wouldn't be – and carefully jumps on top of Sharkoff and gets the pin.
WINNER in 6:34 – Justin Sane! Justin runs around the ring like he just won the World Series. He then hits the ropes and vaults over the top in an attempt to jump onto Drunkette's back...and overshoots it and crotches himself on the barricade. Drunkette shakes her head and grabs Justin by the belt and drags him to the back....
Russ: The Mohawked Warrior gets a win. It was weird, but it was a win.
Razz: How do these guys keep getting wins? I don't get it.
Russ: Me neither, but this match should be good. Two OOWF Grand Slam Champions set to face off.
Razz: Ecosystem last week lost in a tough battle to LD Williams, this week he takes on LD's tag team partner Stank.
Russ: Ecosystem is trying to be a changed man, and that attempt to do the right thing cost him dearly last week. Will we see a repeat tonight? Let's go to the ring.
Stank Vs Ecosystem”I know who you are, the leader of lost souls” brings out Ecosystem to some cheers of the crowd, who realize that Eco's making an effort to go straight. Eco enters the ring and bows to all four sides of the ring.
Nonpoint’s
“Skin” brings out Stank. He looks into the ring and smirks at the former CEO. Undoubtedly Stank has had words with his partner LD Williams who faced off against Eco last week.
As the referee calls for the bell Eco steps to the center of the ring and offers a handshake to Stank. Stank takes the handshake but holds on, taunting, teasing Eco. Eco just stares and eventually extracts his hand from Stanks and they lock up in the center of the ring. Stank forces Eco to the ropes and as the referee calls for the break Stank starts laying in fists. Eco reverses and lays in some chops and throws Stank across the ring and hits Stank with a picture perfect spin kick. Stank rolls out of the ring and Eco follows with a suicide dive that takes Stank off his feet. Eco comes back into the ring full of energy and awaits Stank to return. Stank comes back into the ring, locks up with Eco, backs him into the ropes, and begins pounding away on Eco. Eco finds himself in trouble, but looks on the apron and sees a small chain there. He begins to pick up the chain but pulls away from it. Stank sees this and just shakes his head.
Another lock up and this time Stank floats over with a front face lock. To add extra leverage Stank stretches back and hooks his feet on the second rope which of course the referee misses. Eco finally fights his way to his feet, and as he starts pushing Stank back to the ropes Stank complains that Eco is pulling the tights. As the referee checks Stank grabs Eco's hair and pulls him over into the dreaded Side Headlock. Eco works his way to his feet and tries to throw Stank off but Stank grabs a handful of hair and takes Eco back down again. Stank keeps grinding away to the boos of the crows and this time when Eco works his way up and he tries to throw off Stank, the referee sees the hair pull and forces the break. Stank obliges by releasing the hold, and releasing several stiff fists to Eco's head. Eco shakes it off again and tries to push back Stank and throw him into the ropes but Stank reverses, and Eco rolls him up in a Sunset Flip attempt but Stank rolls into the ropes. As Stank gets up he sees the chain in the corner and palms it. Eco meanwhile is coming back and hits Stank with some pretty solid chops and starts to get Stank up for a Belly to Back Suplex when Stank pops Eco in the jaw with the chain! Stank loses the chain before the Ref sees it, picks up a woozy Eco for a STANK-U, and the ref counts three.
WINNER – in 14:45 – StankEco is Furious that he would lose this way, while Stank just shrugs and walks to the back.
Russ: Ecosystem having a hard time negotiating his new path in life.
Razz: Eco just can't catch a break, of course, he's never been shy about taking a short cut if he can in the past, so this just has to hurt.
Russ: Folks, the OOWF Invitational Sweet 16 is up in just a moment, but this reminder that the next OOWF Pay per view, End of Days 8, comes to you live from The Hague on Sundy, February 24th.
Razz: And next week, Midweek Mayhem comes to you live from Mons, Belgium.
Russ: Now the first of the Sweet 16 matches in the invitational and Cowboy Chad Madison takes on The Canadian Nightmare Jeremy Punswick
Razz: this Punswick is one bad cat, Russ, but Chad's been working hard this week A lot of people were shocked last week when the new guy upset Alexander Darling. Can lightning strike twice?
Russ: Chad Madison and Jeremy Punswick, let's go to the ring.
OOWF Invitational Sweet 16
"The Canadian Nightmare" Jeremy Punswick vs. Chad MadisonBig & Rich's
"Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" bring Cowboy Chad to the ring, shaking hands, kissing babies, and flirting and getting phone numbers.
Budgie's I Turn to Stone brings out Jeremy Punswick. The newcomer took out Alexander Darling in the first round and looks to have the same luck against Chad.
Chad locks up with Puns and forces him back into the ropes. Chad throws Puns into the ropes, raches in for that deep arm drag but Puns has that scouted and rolls over Madison's back and just stands there. Chad is...well, Chad. Lock up again, the struggle in the middle sees Chad get a side head lock, and of course Puns pushes him back into the ropes. Puns throws him to the ropes and Puns catches Chad with a belly-to belly suplex that catches Chad by surprise with it's speed. Pun s gets behind Chad, Release German Suplex, Puns goes for another but Chad switches up and goes for an old fashioned rollup that gets him a one count. Another solid sequence of back and forth cahin wrestling comes to an end when Chad tries to pull off the Triple Dropkick but Puns had that scouted and rolls out of the way of the second dropkick that sends Chad crashing to the mat. Puns takes advantage of Chad's error...EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT! Chad is out as Puns rolls up Madison for the three count.
WINNER in 14:50 – Jeremy PunswickPunswick looks over at Madison, shakes his head, and walks away.
Russ: I don't care what Punswick says, that is a major upset!
Razz: Taking out one half of the most decorated tag team in history is a solid accomplishment to most competitors, Russ, but to Jeremy Punswick, it's just another Wednesday.
Russ: Well be that as it may, Punswick advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Invitational. But up next, two members of Drink and Destroy face off in what will no doubt be a slobberknocker.
Razz: Drink and Destroy loves to drink, and they love to beat the holy hell out of each other. This will be fun.
Russ: Danny Taylor and DK Murphy, let's go to the ring.
Dynamite Danny Taylor vs DK MurphyHere comes the Boom plays and the crowd cheers the arrival of fan favorite Dynamite Danny Taylor. He slaps hands with the fans, slides into the ring, faces the camera and mouths the word boom as the four corners erupt in flames, drawing a nice pop.
The Gauntlet plays signaling the arrival of OOWF Intercontinental Champion DK Murphy. The young champ gets a sizable pop of his own, and also takes time to celebrate with some fans on his way to the ring. He slides in, and holds the IC title up high, and the camera catches Danny smiling and clapping for him as well. The two men meet in the ring and shake hands. The ref calls for the bell and we are under way.
Both men circle and lock up, but neither seems to get the upper hand. DK shows some fire and keeps trying for various holds, but the veteran Danny manages to block each attempt. Danny ends up catching DK in a half nelson, but as DK pulls out of it, he inadvertently elbows Danny in the nose drawing blood. DK looks apologetic, but Danny waves it off. The two lock back up, and Danny whips DK into the ropes. DK comes back with a running shoulder block, but Danny barely budges. DK goes for it again, and this time Danny takes a step back. Danny motions for DK to try a third time, and Murphy does. Danny surprises him however, and throws a forearm that catches DK in the jaw. DK staggers back and notices some blood flowing from his lip. DK looks shocked, and Danny just shrugs and smiles. DK smiles as well, and the wrestling portion of this contest ends.
Both men start dropping blows, heavy forearms, and massive hay makers. Each shot just seems to encourage the other to try harder, and both men's smiles seem to widen as it continues. The ref goes to step between them, then thinks better off it, and waves for it to continue as he backs away drawing a small pop from the crowd. This continues for a few minutes before both men back away, breathing deeply and still smiling. The two do a quick knucklebump, and the wrestling portion of the match continues.
DK is able get a rear waistlock and take Danny down with a massive German Suplex. He bridges it but only gets two. DK then takes and whips Danny to the ropes and drops his head for a back body drop. Danny sees it coming however, and takes advantage of this by hooking DK and hitting a quick Dynamite Drop. Danny rolls him over and gets the three with DK kicking out a second to late.
Your winner via pinfall in 15:08 Dynamite Danny TaylorAfter the match, DK looks down, but Danny helps him up and holds his hand up high, drawing a pop from the crowd. DK shakes his head no, smiles and raises Danny's hand, drawing a louder pop. DK then backs away and claps as Danny mounts the turnbuckle to celebrate with the fans.
Russ: A solid exhibition of wrestling from two good friends.
Razz: I'm confused, Russ. Last week Stank and Moosehead Jack put on just as clean of an exhibition and you and GM Selena were just urinating all over that.
Russ: Those two were mocking...
Razz: Yeah, yeah, we get it Russ, mocking the traditions of this great sport.
Russ: Up next, two outstanding and underrated mat tacticians face off.
Razz: For a long time both Alexis Darling and Mai Muyo have been overshadowed by their brothers. Tonight the sisters remain in the tournament after their brothers have exited. How much pressure does this put on them?
Russ: Two great women get their chance to face off and shine, let's go to the ring.
Mai Muyo versus Alexis DarlingThe two women meet in the center of the ring and shake hands. Although they come from different walks of life, the two women show that they do have respect for each other’s abilities. They lock up, and for the first few minutes, the two women are evenly matched, Alexis using more of a speed-based technical style in this match in order to counter Mai’s Strong-style based offense.
Alexis is able to get the advantage, Irish-whips Mai into the corner and hits a flying forearm. She attempts a second time, but Mai steps out of the way. Mai is now in control, laying into Alexis with a flurry of Kobashi-style knife-edge chops. Mai hits a snapmare on Alexis, kicks her in the back and then runs against the ropes to hit a Shining Wizard.
After a few more minutes of being in control, Mai appears as if she wants to finish the match now. Mai picks up Alexis and drops her with a Backdrop driver. Mai points to the top, signaling for the Savior Splash. Mai climbs to the top rope, but Alexis recovers, runs up the ropes and hits a perfect top-rope Hurricarana.
Alexis picks up Mai and plants her with a Royal Butterfly suplex worthy of Sara Del Rey. Alexis goes for the cover, but Mai kicks out at two. Immediately after Mai kicks out, Alexis locks in the Darling Clutch. Mai frantically tries to get to the ropes, and is within arm’s reach. Alexis drags Mai back to the center of the ring and leans back further. Mai holds on for as long as she can, but she has no choice but to tap out.
Winner in 12:52, Alexis Darling
Russ: What an outstanding technical exhibition!
Razz: (Rolling eyes) Yes, Russ. Mai and Alexis are outstanding technical wrestlers and sure can bring it.
Russ: What? They're good.
Razz: Why is it, awww, why bother. The fact of the matter is you're an old biased piece of work. You're biased against the Saints of Sinners.
Russ: Speaking of which, the leader of that group is about to be eliminated from this tournament by Ghosthead.
Razz: The man is...aaaaah, whatever.
Russ: The former FTW champion is speechless, let's go to the ring.
Moosehead Jack vs. Ghosthead Ghost is out first and stands menacingly in the corner. Moose is out next and the fans nearly boo him out of the arena. Moose rolls under the bottom rope and slowly gets to his feet, eyeing Ghost the entire time. He tosses his onslaught title out of the ring, and Ghost does the same with the DDT title. The referee calls for the bell and this match is underway!
Moose and Ghost meet in the middle of the ring and stare at one another for a moment, then something unsaid seems to pass between them, and they start throwing punches hockey style! Moose gets the better of the fight until Ghost slams him between the eyes with a headbutt that staggers him. Ghost waits for Moose to come toward him, then POPS him in the mouth with a superkick that sends him bouncing off the ropes. On the rebound, Ghost grabs Moose and sends him to the ropes and catches him with a SPEAR! Moose hits the mat and rolls out of the ring to the floor.
Ghost reaches out and tries to grab Moose by the hair, but Moose grabs his foot and pulls him out of the ring and lands a punch to the mouth that rocks the big man. Moose hits a back elbow to the jaw, then tries a whip, but Ghost reverses it and sends Moose into the guard rail. He charges in, but Moose gets a boot up and catches him in the face, then BULLDOGS him to the floor! Moose pulls Ghost to his feet and rolls him under the bottom rope and crawls in and covers, but Ghost kicks out at one.
Moose pulls Ghost to the corner and puts his face on the middle turnbuckle, then backs across the ring and charges in and SLAMS his knee to the back of Ghost’s head. Ghost slumps to the mat and Moose drags him out of the corner and climbs to the middle rope and drops and elbow right to his heart. Moose covers, but Ghost kicks out at two.
Moose pulls Ghost to his feet and sends him to the ropes, but lowers his head a moment too soon. Ghost grabs the back of his head and pulls him up, then hits a spinning clothesline that nearly takes Moose’s head off his shoulders. As Moose struggles to his feet, Ghost springs off the middle ropes and hits the EIDOLON! Moose gets right back to his feet and glares at Ghost. Ghost bounds off the ropes and NAILS Moose with a boot to the face. Moose doesn’t go down. He hits the ropes and catches Ghost with a boot to his face, but Ghost doesn’t go down either. The two meet in the middle of the ring again and once again begin furiously throwing punches.
Ghost gets the better of the exchange and backs Moose into the corner and catches him with a leaping knee to the face that bloodies Moose’s nose. Ghost sets Moose on the top rope then hits a leaping enzuguri to the side of his head sending Moose off the top rope. Moose crashes into the apron then falls to the floor. Ghost leaves the ring and rolls Moose onto the Scottish Announce Table. He climbs up as well and pulls Moose up and sets him up for an IMPAILER PILEDRIVER, but Moose fights free, and hits a RANHEI that sends them both through the table! The referee checks on both wrestlers then quickly starts the ten count. The two of them fight out of the wreckage and make it back into the ring just before the ten count. Moose is bleeding worse from his nose, and Ghost has a gash above his eye.
Ghost throws a punch, but Moose ducks it and kicks him low and drops him with a DDT, then throws him over the top rope. Moose pulls Ghost up and hits an APRON POWERBOMB then grabs Ghost for a suplex, but Ghost hammers Moose with elbows to the side of the head, then starts to whip him to the guardrail, pulls him back and drop toe holds him, sending Moose’s head crashing into the stairs!
Ghost pulls Moose up and blood is POURING from his forehead, he rolls Moose into the ring and follows, Moose is on his knees in the middle of the ring, and Ghost charges at him, but Moose ducks a kick and grabs Ghost’s leg and traps him in an ANKLE LOCK! Ghost quickly makes it to the ropes, but Moose doesn’t let go. Ghost falls between the ropes pulling Moose with him, and the two resume their fight on the outside of the ring. A second referee runs to the ring to help maintain some order. A double countout or double disqualification could hurt the integrity of the tournament after all.
They get Ghost and Moose back into the ring where Moose tries a PILEDRIVER, but Ghost lifts him and ALABAMA SLAMS him into the turnbuckle! Moose’s head slams into the pad and he falls to the mat dazed. Ghost pulls him out and hits the SPECTRE’S FALL! He covers, but Moose gets his foot on the bottom rope just before the three count!
Moose struggles to his feet, pulling himself up using the ropes. Ghost charges at Moose, but Moose low bridges him, Ghost lands on the apron and charges at Moose, but Moose ducks and shoves Ghost into the post. As he staggers backward, Moose grabs him from behind and hits a BACKDROP DRIVER TO THE FLOOR! Both men are down again. Moose manages to get to his feet first and rolls Ghost in, but takes a moment himself and barely makes it in before the ten. He covers Ghost, but Ghost kicks out at two.
Moose pulls Ghost up and grabs him from behind for a German suplex, but Ghost blocks it, grabs Moose’s head and uses the ropes to hit NIGHT TERROR! Ghost can’t make the cover and the referee starts counting both men down. Both pull themselves to their feet and stagger to the middle of the ring and go forehead to forehead and snarl, then once again start throwing punches. Ghost rakes the eyes and sends Moose to the ropes, but this time he lowers his head a moment too soon and Moose catches him with a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER! Moose covers, but somehow Ghost kicks out at two.
Moose gets to his feet and argues with the referee. Ghost is down, holding the back of his head. Moose comes back and grabs him, Ghost shoves him back then sprays the BLACK MIST! But Moose ducks at the last second, and the referee gets a face full! The referee goes down, and the second referee immediately calls for the bell!
WINNER in 26:38 by disqualification – Moosehead JackGhost is furious and argues with the second referee. Moose grabs him from behind and rolls him up, the referee counts
One……two…….THREE Winner, and NEW DDT IRON MAN HEAVY METAL CHAMPION – Moosehead JackMoose rolls out of the ring and grabs the titles and head up the ramp. He stops about halfway and looks back at Ghost who is standing on the middle rope glaring at him. Ghost makes the motion of the world title, Moose just smirks and stumbles to the back.
Russ: That damned Moosehead Jack just stole the DDT Ironman Heavy Metal Title!
Razz: It's a 24/7 title, Russ, Ghosthead wasn't ready, Moose was. And Moose advances, by the way, to the quarterfinal round, thanks to a disqualification.
Russ: He and the Saints of Sinners are...
Razz: UP NEXT, Russ, two people who've already gathered some distaste for one another.
Russ: The Kai has been talking some serious smack about the Amazing Jos this week, and we have to wonder if these two can keep it to wrestling.
Razz: The Kai can really bring it, but can Jos repeat his success last week against Power?
Russ: Well, Power is no Kai. Let's get to the ring.
The Kai vs. Amazing Jos Kanye West's "Amazing" plays and Amazing Jos steps out to modest cheers from the fans. They're starting to get to know the new guy, and they like what they see.
Kai's music hits, and the crowd goes nuts, approving his recent association with Drink and Destroy. Once the opening proprieties are observed, we are off.
And we are off to a clinic of excellent chain wrestling with some very solid mat work by both men. They exchange locks and throws and holds, in a very extended process of basically feeling each other out. The fans cheer as after a solid five minutes or so, the two break and give each other the indie-nods of respect. They slap hands and then begin the match in earnest. Kai breaks through early with a headlock on Jos, but Jos runs to the ropes and up them to flip over and pull Kai back into a neckbreaker. Jos spins around as Kai sits up and knocks him back down with a leg lariat, and goes for a pin, one...two...no! Kai shoots a shoulder up. and Jos backs off, helping Kai to his feet. He takes him around in an arm lock, and then an armwrench, into a hammerlock. He cranks down and Kai slaps his shoulder twice, as required by wrestling law, and Jos waits until just the right moment and turns it right into a DDT for Mondo Radness II! Again Jos makes a pin, and one...two...NO! Kai kicks out again, shoves Jos away and rolls out onto the floor, rotating his shoulder to try and recover.
Amazing Jos waits a minute, but then decides to take the fight outside, and rolls out. He catches up with Kai outside the ring, and shoves him into the ring post. Kai bounces off and Jos goes for another run, but Kai figures it out and sidesteps allowing Jos to hit the post. Kai grabs him and SAMOAN DROP ON TO THE FLOOR! How did that not hurt them both. Well, Kai IS slow to get up, but not a slow as Jos. Kai gets him up and rolls him into the ring. A groggy Jos tries to recover, and Kai hops onto the apron. He climbs up the ropes and MOONSAULT on to Amazing Jos, then makes his own pin, one...two...NO! Jos kicks out. Kai is unimpressed, and grabs Jos again getting him up for a SPINEBUSTER! but NO! Jos counters, sliding down Kai's back to the mat. Kai steps back, and Jos is able to get him off balance, but Kai merely sits down and reaches back to hook the leg for the pin...except Jos has this scouted too and rolls through for a pin! One...two...NO! Kai pushes him off. The two men get their feet and Kai starts to rush in for the PIPELINE! but no! Amazing Jos leaps and hits the FALCON KICK! Kai goes down in a heap and Jos makes a pin...one...two...THREE!
WINNER in 16:45 – Amazing Jos
Russ: For the second straight week Amazing Jos shows that he means business!
Razz: There were some people here who doubted this young man, but it appears that Amazing Jos is for real!
Russ: Up next, two former allies who just aren't on the same page anymore.
Razz: The history of Chris Evans and Crusher Fulton is well documented, Russ. And though Fulton now is willing to forgive, it's highly unlikely he'll be able to forget.
Russ: Two former world champions, let's go to the ring.
Chris Evans vs. Stan "Crusher" Fulton[/b]
Crusher brings out the former World Heavyweight Champion Stan Fulton. Fulton remains focused knowing what Evans is capable of.
Iron Maiden's The Trooper fires up as Chris Evans walks out with Spanish beauties Albudena Cid and Mireia Artal. He walks with them to the bottom of the ramp, spins them once, and then sends them back with a slap on the behind.
Evans insists on taunting the Reverend as he tries to get under his skin. It's Evans speed against Fulton's strength as they tear the house down with some incredible chain wrestling. After several minutes Evans is able to get Fulton up for a Cyclone of Chaos and goes for an Olympic Strike, but Fulton is able to grab Evans' leg and go for an ankle lock! Evans is eventually able to make the ropes to break the hold, and as Fulton releases the hold Evans spins and catches Fulton with a kick to the back of the head that shakes him up. The referee checks Fulton to see if he's ok, but in the process Evans lands a shot to Fulton's fishing tackle and rolls him up and gets both feet on the ropes. The referee is apparently blind as he counts to three!
WINNER in 19:45 – Chris EvansEvans rolls out laughing at Fulton, still clutching at his groin, and Evans struts up the ramp.
Russ: And Evans steals one.
Razz: Fulton and Evans face off well with one another. I know that Evans would disagree, but the two of them are pretty evenly matched, and it took a shortcut to get the win. I know I'd like to see that one again.
Russ: Up next, a match that has the makings of a classic, as LD Williams takes on Rabbit Mask.
Razz: The Insane Bunny has to be considered a long shot here, but he's had his moments.
Russ: Just not lately. Rabbit Mask and LD Williams, let's get to the ring.
Rabbit Mask vs. LD Williams [/b]
All the lights go out and a white fog engulfs the stage as
Another Me by Jeff Hardy begins to play. Rabbit appears through the fog carrying what has to be a ten pound squash...with a face drawn on it. Rabbit talks to the, and laughs maniacally. Once he gets into the ring he demolished the squash.
Out to
Jekyll and Hyde comes LD Williams. Williams stands at ringside, shrugs his shoulders, and climbs into the ring.
Rabbit Mask goes on the attack with strikes and chops and tries to get LD up for the Head Drop #3 but LD reverses it into a Canadian Destroyer! The referee can't believe it and goes for the count
1
2
3!
Winner in :45 – LD Williams!LD gets his hand raised, looks down, shrugs his shoulders and heads for the back.
Russ: LD Williams doesn't get paid by the hour.
Razz: What a domination! LD just destroying Rabbit Mask!
Russ: Well, up next, what could be the same. Matt Folz taking on Awesome Bill from Dawsonville.
Razz: This one won't be pretty. Folz is just too focused on trying to win this thing and get the World Heavyweight Championship by the end of September.
Russ: Folz and Bill, let's get to the ring.
Matt Folz vs Awesome Bill From Dawsonville[/b]
Battle Without Honor or Humanity begins to play and the crowd boos future OOWF World Champion Matt Folz as he makes his way to the ring. Folz seems to ignore the crowd as he grabs a microphone from the timekeeper and slides into the ring.
MF: If there's anything I hate more than wasting my time against inferior competition, it's alcoholics. Let's get this idiot out here, so I can dominate him and get to the airport and get the hell out of this fucking country. Oh, and Pine Cone Party Liquor sucks.
That last line gets Bill sprinting to the ring, determined to defend his beloved PCPL. The referee calls for the bell, as Bill is all over Folz with lefts and rights, driving him back into the corner. Bill backs off as the ref gets between them to force a clean break, and that proves to be his undoing, as Folz explodes out of the corner with a running knee to Bill's gut. Folz rubs his jaw and smirks, sarcastically clapping and saying "Not bad, but now it's my turn." Folz hits a picture perfect brainbuster, then sets Bill up in position while saying "This is for you Lisa" before hitting the VOODOO DROP! Folz covers and this one is over.
Winner by pinfall in 45 seconds: Matt Folz.Folz leaves the ring, shaking his head "Finally, next week I'll get some legitimate competition"
Russ: Utter destruction of Pappy Sil's little boy.
Razz: Like LD Williams, Folz doesn't work by the hour. He came in and made a total statement.
Russ: Folks, the next OOWF Pay per view, End of Days 8, comes to you live from The Hague on Sundy, February 24th.
Razz: And next week, the OOWF Invitational quarterfinals as Midweek Mayhem comes to you live from the European Capital of Culture for 2015, Mons, Belgium.
Russ: Our main event is up next, and this is a match I've been waiting for all week.
Razz: It was seven months ago, on July 11, 2012, that Power and Glory had their first chance at Tag Team gold against then-Champions Phoenix Rising. Tonight the Neil Twins are the hunted, and Firewoman and Alexander Darling are the hunters.
Russ: Let me be clear. I do not like the way that the Saints of Sinners do business. That being said, these two women have come farther than any team I've ever seen in such a short time.
Razz: Plus Firewoman is your World Heavyweight Champion, and Alexander Darling is one of the greats, a first ballot hall of famer.
Russ: Their first face off, Phoenix Rising got the pin, can history repeat itself tonight? Let's go to the ring.
World Tag Team Championship Match
Power and Glory © vs Phoenix Rising[/b]
Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums hits complete with pyro, and the crowd erupts as Firewoman and Alexander darling aka Phoenix Rising make their way to the ring.
Fortress of Seduction hits and the Tag Team Champions Fire and Glory arrive to a chorus of boos. Both teams confer in their corners as the ref goes over last minute instructions. Fire and Glory decide to start it off, the bell rings and we are underway.
The two ladies circle, both wary of making the first move. Finally Fire stops and motions for Glory to take the first shot. Glory stops and goes to say she is not falling for that, when Fire snaps off a quick jab that rocks her back. Fire then takes over locking in various versions of armbars trying to wear Glory down. Glory keeps trying to get free, but can't seem to get the leverage needed. Fire drags her to the PR corner and tags in Alex. Darling comes in and nails an elbow to the arm Fire is still holding. Alex then scoops and slams Glory. He then lifts her up, and slides into a reverse waistlock, and then a full nelson.
Power has had enough at this point and tries to get into the ring drawing the refs attention to her. Glory takes advantage, and mule kicks back catching Darling in the sweet spot causing him to lose his grip. Glory takes advantage and drops Alex with a DDT. Power backs out, and Glory goes for the pin but Alex kicks out at one. Glory makes a tag to Power, and she comes in and puts the boots to Alex. for the next several moments, Alex is your face in peril as P&G make quick tags. Fire tries to enter several times, but the ref keeps cutting her off allowing the champs to do some nasty double team moves.
Finally, Power is alone in the ring with Alex and tries for a vertical suplex. However Alex still has some life in him and slips out and makes a diving tag to Firewoman. Power turns and eats a springboard dropkick sending her down. Glory tries to come in, but Fire snaps off a standing hurricanrana sending her down. Fire is then house of herself, as she takes both P&G down with multiple stiff shots before finally clotheslining Glory out of the ring. Fire heads up top for the best Firesault ever, but Power is not quite down, and is up and pulling the ref over to her. Glory uses this chance to slide in the ring and paste Fire with a chair dropping her to the mat. Glory goes to follow up, but Alex is in the ring and snatches the chair from her. Power sees this and releases the ref who turns just in time to see Alex paste Glory with the chair and calls for the bell.
