Fire is rushing through the halls after the show, grasping her ribs in pain every so often. She moves past people, shoving them out of her way, until she sees Stan Fulton.

FW: Stan...STAN! WAIT!

Fulton turns around, kind of surprised.

SF: What is it, Fire?

FW: I'm....*having some trouble breathing*...sorry about earlier...in the food court....

SF: It's okay, I know how you two are, and...are you going to be okay?

FW: Yes.....I'm ..... Fine....it's just.....

Fire looks at her watch.

SF: What is it?

FW: It's....It's....Ash Wednesday!!

SF: ............I don't follow.

FW: It's like two hours until Ash Wednesday is over and I need to do confession. Like we did last year! *Fire crosses herself* Forgive me, Reverend, for I have--

SF: Fire...FIRE.....here? In the hallway? Isn't it supposed to be private?

FW: I don't have time for that. *crosses self again* Forgive me, Reverend for I--

SF: Fire...I don't do that anymore.

FW: .......huh? So what, you used to, so *crosses* forgive me former Reverend for--

SF: FIRE!

FW: What?

SF: *sigh* Look....I wasn't a priest before, and I'm even less of one now. You need to go find someone else.

FW: But.....

SF: You're not even Catholic.

FW: But I'm Irish....

SF: Sorry Fire.

Fulton heads back the direction he was going, leaving Fire standing there, completely clueless as to what to do.

Dee: Business is picking up.

DK: Ghosthead and Stank? That's an understatement. They've got an edge on us in experience, size, history...

Dee: Sibling status is a push.

DK: We do get along with each other, and have worked as a team, so that's in our column.

We see Matt Folz limping out of the arena, also holding his ribs after the effects of Stan's dropline. He smiles as he walks by the General Manager's office and looks at this week's lineup.

MF: First step towards my revenge, perfect.

He smiles as he walks out of the arena and we...... FADE

DK: Wally!

Dee: Wally!

WBK: G'day, young cousins. I have a suggestion to help you with your match.

DK: Inside information on their wrestling skills?

WBK: No, advice on what to drink beforehand. Try a Rumchata and Fireball shot!

Dee: Any chance you're getting sponsored to tout that?

WBK: Daniella, you know me so well! But I do happen to know a bit more about the Mann brothers so...

*Ninja cameraman tries to get a better shot, but LD's Momma strolls into the Destroyitarium and we lose the OOWFfeed from the Destroyitarium*

Christian Carter and Jason Allen attend to Jose Reyna in the trainer’s room. Carter, wearing his traditional suit, with the OOWF World Heavyweight Championship strapped around his waist, notices Matthew Folz walking by. He sees Folz looking at the line up for next week, mutter’s something and starts to walk away. As Carter makes sure Jose is ok, he goes, and looks at the line up and see’s Matthew taking on Alexis Darling. He smirks, and starts to walk to Folz, who has entered the lockeroom area. Carter goes in, and the glares from the other roster members. Folz looks at Carter, fist clinched as he looks at the World Champ, with Jamie at his side.

MF: What do you want Carter?

CC: Matthew, do you realize that you have lost everything in the last week? Not only did you lose tonight, but you’re going to lose when I beat you in your little steel cage match. BTW, nice one getting our jackass GM to sign off on that one. But remember this…when I have you in that ring, and make you say I quit, you will never…ever get a shot at my world title again. I’ll make sure of it.

MF: Well, I would worry about Fulton first champ…because he isn’t an easy target, and if I remember correctly, you don’t overlook anyone.

CC: I’m not overlooking Fulton…I’m confident enough to beat him…something you are not. Besides, who says you make it to this little rematch, when Alexis is going to tear you limb from limb. I would worry about what your pretty little wife will do when that happens. Perhaps throw in the towel again, because isn’t that what cowards do?

Folz immediately goes after Carter, but is stopped by Danny Taylor. Danny looks at Folz and tells him, not here. He turns to Carter and tells him to leave.

CC: Always having others watch your back Matthew, very convenient. Remember, I have those who watch my back, and you better watch yours very closely…one day, your mouth is going to get someone hurt.

Carter leaves, as Folz starts screaming…

MF: GET BACK HERE YOU SON OF A BITCH! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU MEAN BY THAT….COME BACK HERE YOU FUCK…

Carter turns for a second, smiles at Jamie, and winks, which infuriates Folz even more. Carter walks out of the lockeroom, and notices that Allen and Jose are no longer at the trainer’s room. He continues down the corridor, with some of the roster and crew giving him the glare. Others start to mumble as he comes into view of the Saints and Sinner’s lockeroom. Carter stands in front, knocks and enters. He see’s Jack and Chloe smoking cigars and drinking some Jack Daniels, Stank and LD behind them talking, and Stan Fulton, over in his own little section.

MHJ: Carter! What’s going on champ?

CC: Jack…sorry to interrupt…

MHJ: No worries…just celebrating as we always did after our shows. What do we owe the distinct pleasure?

CC: Him…

Carter points to Fulton, who looks at the champ pointing at him. Fulton stands up, and goes to say something, but Carter cuts him off….

CC: Whoa…whoa…whoa Stan…I’m not here to mix words and warn you about next week. Actually I’m here to congratulate you on a job well done…of the three of you, I’m glad you won…I mean, we kind of like brothers…

SF: And how is that exactly…if I’m mistaken, you said we weren’t like that? Do you honestly take me for a fool Carter?

CC: Now, your right, I did say that, but Ms. Neal here said something that I watched, and it has stuck to me…no matter what you’re a Saint, and once a Saint, always a Saint…I am a Saint, just like I am King…but I’ll always be a Saint, and whether I like it or not, you are a brother.

SF: So you’re expecting me to lay down for you so you can face Folz?

CC: On the contrary, I know you will give me the fight of my life, and I welcome it. Stan, next week, we will go out there, and I will give you your World Title Shot that you have earned...and that isn’t the only thing you have earned, you have earned my respect…just like Moose here asked me to join, I earned his respect by doing the things I deemed necessary. For instance, taking out Alexander Darling.

Carter looks at Moose, who smirks and nods, as Cloe looks at Carter, eyes all wide and dreamy.

CC: Stan, no matter what happens next week, I promise you, no King interference…one on one, me against you, and if you beat me, then I’ll lose humbly. I just wanted to say congratulations, and I’ll see you next week.

Carter turns, goes to Moose and Chloe, shakes Moose’s hand, and kisses Chloe’s hand. She starts to blush a bit, as Carter turns and walks out of the Saints lockeroom as the camera fades.

*OOWF Hallway*

A hooded figure is standing in the shadows and follows without being seen or heard as Christian Carter makes his rounds from medical to Matt Folz to the Saints and we see Alexander remove the hood as he starts smirking after Carter leaves the Saints locker room. He's almost laughing as he heads back towards Matt Folz locker room. He knocks on the door and Folz slams open the door looking for a fight.

MF: What the hell do you want?

Jaime walks up to Matt and grasps him by the shoulder and whispers something in his ear.

Alex: Listen to the woman Matt, they're always right.

MF: And how do you know she wasn't telling me to put you through a wall.

Alex: Because she knows I'm not your enemy right now. And as the saying goes, the enemy of my enemy.

MF: Is my friend? Yea, we tried that once. Was an epic disaster.

Alex: Fine, not friends but we have a mutual goal at the moment.

MF: *grumbling* I hate when you're right.

Alex: Well, I hate having to deal with you at all, but that's where we are. You going to let me in?

Folz sighs and steps aside and Alex walks in. He notices Danny Taylor in the locker room and looks confused as all fuck as to what Danny is doing with Folz. Alex just shakes his head as Danny shrugs and starts to head back to the Destroyitorium. Alex puts his hand out before he leaves.

Alex: I saw the lineup. I'm gonna talk to Pun. We'll get the match changed for next week. I want you to absorb the lesson and I have something else in mind.

Danny looks a little confused and tilts his head as he's thinking about it. He slowly starts to nod in agreement as Alex finishes...

Trust Me.

Danny snarls and this just makes Alex smirk.

Good. Get some rest Danny, we'll work out tomorrow.

Danny pushes past Alex as he heads back to his locker room.

MF: Done having your conversations in MY locker room?

Alexander just shakes his head before moving over to one of the couches and taking a seat. He goes as far as to put his legs up on the table before Folz walks over and slaps the feet to the ground.

Alex: Fine, I won't get comfortable. Look, here's the thing...what Alexis did I still don't get it.

MF: You can't seriously be here asking me to go easy on your sl...*Jaime slaps Folz upside his head*...on your sister, can you?

Alex: I could ask, but I know that would fall on deaf ears. And like I said, I still don't comprehend what she's doing. But I know what she cost you. I know how much that belt means to all of us. So I can't expect you to let it go. But here's the thing Matt and in the short time we did work together, you know the most important thing is my family. Hell, I've hired you in the past to protect them because if there's one thing that makes you different than most of the people around here, it is your loyalty.

MF: And?

Alex: A couple months back you asked Fire and I to look out for Jaime. We did it. No questions asked. No favors asked.

MF: What do you want Alex?

Alex: Like I said, I can't expect you to let what Alexis did go. But I also can't let the fact that she's still my sister go. So, the only think I can ask you...keep it to the ring. Keep it to the match.

MF: And if she doesn't live up to your standards, you want me to let her do whatever she wants.

Alex: Of course not. Fuck man, I have no idea what the hell is going on around here. All I know is one of the few people I thought I could trust with everything has turned their back on me and I can't figure out what the fuck she's thinking. I've been through people turning on me before. *Pointed look at Folz* Hell, I've been turned on by some of the closest people in my life from Davin to Fire, but the one person I never thought I'd have to accept doing it was Lexie.

MF: I get that it sucks to be you right now, but why should I care? She's clearly with the Kings right now and I will go through each and every one of them, however I need to to get back what is rightfully mine.

Alex: I made my case. But like I'm showing to Danny, there's still a very dark side to me Matt. Going above and beyond to hurt my family...even if currently estranged is one of the things that brings out that side of me.

MF: That a threat?

Alex: No. It's just what it is. I'm serious Matt, I know we'll never be friends because we just clash on a fundamental level. But I don't need to be your enemy right now. Not with the Kings running around with all the gold they have. Not with the Saints looking to once again bleed this company dry by any means necessary. Not with Ghosthead being as formidable an opponent as anyone in this company all by his lonesome. Not with Evans lurking. Not with Wilder being insane. Not with Danny trying to find that next gear. Us getting into it just lets them win.

MF: I'll take it under advisement, but I am getting my belt back.

Alex: Then do it. Because once my sister is done playing games with my contract. I'm still the #1 contender and beating you for the belt will be so much fun.

MF: Not on your best day.

Alex: I guess I don't even need my best day. I seem to remember wrestling you in your hometown. How did that work out for you.

MF: *growling* Get out.

Alex: Fine fine. I'm going.

Alex and the Folz's stand up and start to escort Alex to the door. Alex turns around and extends his hand. Folz just looks at him like he's nuts so Jaime takes Alexander's hand. Alex lifts it to his lips.

Alex: Always a pleasure Ms. McAllister.

Once Alex lets go of Jaime's hand, Matt pushes Alex back.

MF: It's Mrs. Folz, asshole.

Alex just starts laughing as he puts his hood back up and slinks back into the shadows of the arena.

*Fade*

We fade back in to see Matt following Alexander out of his locker room.

MF: I'll agree to keep it in the ring..... for now. But if...hell probably when.. it becomes a 4 on 1 attack, I'll do anything I have to in order to defend myself. If you have a problem with that, I don't really give a shit.

Folz walks back to his locker room as we........FADE

(Power is driving into the parking lot of a Las Vegas Condo at daybreak Thursday morning. We see a bodyguard standing watch outside one of the units pick up a radio and say something into it. Power parks the vehicle, grabs a gym bag from the back seat, and gets out. She appears disheveled and it looks like she has changed at least her shirt because we see specs of red on her denim jeans, but her shirt is spotless. She walks up the steps to the second floor unit and is met by the door by Sunny.)

Sunny: Really?

Power: Couldn't sleep. Thought I should get in a workout.

Sunny: And by workout, do you mean a gym, a club, or one of Moose's old haunts.

Power: (Walking into the room, opening the gym bag and pulling out a blood covered T-shirt) You tell me.

Sunny: Dammit, Edra, you just got cleared to compete yesterday. Doing something like this is reckless and could...

Power: I have to be ready. The Saints...

Sunny: Are batchit crazy, will do anything, trust me, yadda yadda. You don't need to be pushing yourself this fast.

Power: I saw them beat Texpress last night. I couldn't believe them. Moose. Chloe. Stupid sis dyed her hair red. Fire's gonna...and in the ring she and Moose...

Sunny: ...were breaking every rule in the book no doubt.

Power: No, they were a machine. Total sync as a team. They took what she and I did to the next level. They were, hell, great. I have to get to that next step.

Sunny: You can't get down in the mud with them. You're stronger and smarter than your sister. And you've got a chance to work hard this week with one of your new buddies.

Power: (Smiling) I hope Tommy's OK. I think matching up with him will be insane. I need to learn a thing or two about risk taking from him. I tend to be way too conservative.  That's why I need you here, to get me to that next step without rolling in the mud.

Sunny: Initial medical reports say he's still hurting from a week ago when LD tried to rip his leg off.

Power: (Slamming the bag on the table, her face flushed with anger) Dammit, LD's too good to be going around trying to cripple people. See, this is what I need to do now. It's more than just my sister. It's all of them. Moose, Stank, LD, Fulton. They're dangerous. And now that Chloe thinks she's got my number, I've got to make this happen. Tommy, Mai, Texpress, even Miranda...we've got to take a stand.

Sunny: (Smiling) I like it when you're like this. (Putting a hand on her shoulder) It's really sexy.

Power: (Smiling) What time is our flight to DFW?

Sunny: It leaves McCarren in three hours.

Power: When's the next one?

Sunny: Probably late afternoon.

Power: Reschedule while I get the shower running.

Sunny: I Like that thought.

(The door closes with the camera left outside and we fade....)

*Matt & Jamie Folz arrive at their car looking to go out and get something to eat. Jamie walks around back and opens the trunk to retrieve something she left in her bag there. As Matt hops in and starts it up, she closes the trunk and is startled to see Ghosthead standing near her. She lets out a yelp which has Matt scrambling out of the car to check on her. He too is a surprised to see Ghosthead standing near his wife and is not pleased at all by his presence. He pulls his wife behind him protectively and points at Ghost.*

MF - You stay away from her!

Ghost - I have no interest in harming either you, or your wife.

MF - Smart! What do you want?

Ghost - A moment of your time.

*Matt relaxes slightly and instructs his wife to get in the car. She resists at first, but relents after Matt insists she listen. Once Jamie is "safely" inside, he turns to address Ghosthead.*

MF - Okay... what?

Ghost - You and I share the same goal... the OOWF World Championship. I would have been... satisfied in competing against you for the title, but cruelty it would seem... beats with a human heart... and I would see a dagger driven through it. The fact that Christian Carter bears the World Championship leaves a very bitter taste.

MF - On that we can agree.

Ghost - Carter and his whelps must be made to suffer... and I am willing to do whatever it takes to see it done... even if that means a temporary alliance with you.

MF - Gee thanks. I'll think about it.

*Matt starts to turn away, but Ghost grabs him by the arm. Folz jerks loose.*

Ghost - Do not take what I am offering you lightly.

MF - And what exactly are you offering me?

Ghost - At any point when the Suicide Kings decide to attack you en masse I will be there to give them pause.

MF - Well that's awfully nice accept for one thing... I don't trust you.

Ghost - This alliance will not be built on trust. It will be built on our mutual disdain for the Suicide Kings and our mutual desire to unseat Christian Carter as OOWF World Champion. If trust is what you seek, look for it in your marriage to your wife, but if you desire the World Championship, as I know you do, then you and I dealing with the Suicide King issue, is your best chance at achieving that goal.

MF - We tried this before.

Ghost - No we did not. However I am willing to try it now.

MF - And what about your goal? You and I can't both be World Champion. You want it for yourself.

Ghost - Of course I do... but the Suicide Kings have proven to be more than just a mere annoyance... they are an obstruction. We must remove it.

MF - An alliance... I thought you were in to doing whatever it is you do, solo. I thought you liked... chaos.

Ghost - An alliance with you is not in opposition of that... something I can prove to you. However if you are leery... you should be. I do not demand your trust... only your hate.

MF - In other words you're using me.

Ghost - And you... me.

*Matt Folz simply stares at Ghosthead searching for signs of deception. Finding none, as if it were even possible, Folz simply sighs and opens the driver's side door of his car.*

MF - What about Alexis?

Ghost - What about her?

MF - I saw that she reached out to you when no one knew where she was.

Ghost - That was... a separate matter.

MF - She's aligned with them.

Ghost - Perhaps.

MF - No doubt in my mind.

Ghost - Then do what you have to. I hold no objection.

MF - And what if she and her masked friend decide to jump me.

Ghost - My offer still stands. I have issues with her masked friend as well. And Alexander Darling's threats do not move me. If Alexis proves an obstruction I will remove her by any means I deem necessary.

*Matt looks down into his car as Jamie leans over and gives him a look like he should wrap this up.*

MF - My wife and I are hungry.

Ghost - Carry on then. I hope to hear from you soon.

*Ghosthead turns and disappears into the shadows as the camera fades to black.*

Lucky walks in followed by the INC and we see Alexander Darling talking angrily on the phone.

AD: --so while I get that you need to take these periodic flights off to wherever from time to time, it does not infringe upon your freedom to just occasionally ANSWER THE GODDAMN PHONE AND TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE!

Alex slams the phone down on the table.

L: Um...Fire?

AD: Yes....she's taken off, like she does....

L: You think that'll work?

Alexander looks at him, sighs and nods. He picks up the phone and hits redial. He speaks more softly this time.

AD: Hi...so, yay, voicemail. Look, sorry about the last message. It's just with everything with Lexie, I need ... well, you know...just call me.

He hangs up again. This time much more softly.

L: Think that'll work?

AD: Probably not.

L: Well, don't worry, I DO happen to know where she went.

AD: Ah. Well, good. Where?

L: She took off last night on her motorcycle like a bat out of hell--

AD: Like Fire.

L: Exactly. She missed out on Ash Wednesday and now she's obsessed with finding a priest to hear her confession.

AD: .......you're kidding.

L: Nope. She's going to stop at every Catholic Church she can find until she gets it done.

AD: Well, that can't take too long.

L: Weeellll, she's not exactly dainty about these things, so who knows. Says if she doesn't have official ashes on her head by Wednesday, she's not wrestling.

AD: Sheesh.....wait, she's in a 'gets a shot' match. She has to show up.

L: I know.

AD: We need a back up plan...and I think I've got one.

FADE

<Moose watches Carter leave the locker room and sits for a minute puffing his cigar. Stan walks up to him>

SF: You think we can trust him?

<Moose doesn't say anything for a minute, takes another drag from his cigar and smirks>

MHJ: Carter is not a stupid man. He knows the Kings have enough to deal with with Folz, Ghost and the Murphy's all out for blood. He knows you cannot win a war fought on two fronts.....especially one in which you are outnumbered.

LD: <packing up his bag and getting ready to hit the road> Yeah, but if he wanted to make a statement, this would be a chance

Sta: Bringing Lexie on board, if she is, is a big step.....he wants to rule the roost

MHJ: True, but why make an enemy of us when there is no reason to? That would be suicide

LD: Ambition does strange things to people....

SF: Maybe we should get him first....

Sta: No, we would face the same problem, we all have our own issues right now. No need to start a war with the Kings either

<Moose just sits quietly, then looks at Chloe who has been staring a hole in the door since Carter left>

MHJ: Chloe?

Chloe: Carter won't attack Stan or any of the rest of us. Once a Saint always a Saint. I believe him

<everyone seems to nod in agreement on this>

MHJ: Ok......but Stan......we all have your back.......just in case

<the Saints gather their things and head for the parking lot>

~~~ Fade into a hospital nurses station. There are 3 of them, all busy on computers or writing on clipboards. We spot a sign for Methodist Children's Hospital San Antonio. An older nurse picks an IV bag off the counter beside her and turns to walk down the hall when she sees Zane Myers, Bridgette, Chad Madison & Miranda Williams walk into view.

Nurse: Oh my goodness, you startled me!

Bridgette: Nurse Abel, how are you?

Nurse Abel: Great! I had no idea you would be here today!

Zane: We're in town until Tuesday.

Chad: We couldn't resist dropping in and seeing our favorite people.

Nurse Abel: Well, let me see who all is up to having some visitors. I know they'll be so excited to see you.

~~~ Just then, a young girl of about 11 walks out of one of the hospital rooms. She is wearing a bandanna on her head & a hospital gown, and is rolling an IV stand along side her. She spots Chad & Miranda and starts giggling. ~~~

Girl: Oooooooooh Chad brought his Giiiiiiiiiirl friend

~~~ Chad walks over to her and gives her a hug ~~~

Chad: You're still my favorite Katie. (Katie smiles) Miranda! come meet Katie

~~~ Katie gives Miranda a hug too ~~~

Katie: You are so pretty. I wish I had hair like yours. You're my favorite new wrestler! I watch ALL your matches.

Miranda: I'm.... so glad to meet you. Chad's told me all about you.

Katie: He's my buddy. Did you know he gave me one of his belts?

Chad: How long are you in for this time?

Katie: 2 months so far. Probably another 3 or 4 to go.

Miranda: Oh my.

Katie: It's not so bad. There's lots to do here. My room is bigger than my room at home. the TV is bigger too. If I could bring my kittens, It'd be EVEN better.

Chad: Yeah, the Nurses are kind of strict about the pets. Katie, I'll be back in to see you in a bit, OK?

Katie: Ok.

~~~ Katie heads down the hallway. Miranda grabs Chad's arm ~~~

Miranda: She is so upbeat.

CHad: Told ya. These little trips are what help keep Zane and I in the right mindset when we get overwhelmed with ourselves. That's why we come here as often as the travel schedule allows. And with this week's arena being only a few hours drive away? I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed all week, and spending as much time here as I can.

Miranda: I'm glad I came with you.

Chad: Me too. Kind of nice to get away from the craziness for a while.

Miranda: I'm loving it.

~~~ Bridgette & Zane walks up just then ~~~

Zane: Don't worry, there'll still be plenty of tape watching & preparation for Wednesday.

Miranda: I have no doubt. I plan on putting in plenty of work

Bridgette: Well shug, I gave Nurse Abel the check. Why don't you boys go get the boxes off from the bus and we can start passing out the stuff. There are a few new kids too.

Zane: Don't worry, we will.

~~~ He walks by a room & pokes his head in the door ~~~

Zane: Davey! You ready for an arm-wrestling rematch!

Bridgette: (To Miranda) Shug, I'm glad you came along.

Miranda: Me too.

~~~ A couple of younger boys come out of another room and spot her. They run to Miranda and hug her around the waist ~~~

Boy 1: You're Miranda!

Boy 2: This is SO COOL!

Somewhere in New Mexico...

On a dusty two lane road, headed east....

A black Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 comes into view, driving...well, not that fast, actually. Possibly the speed limit. There's a woman riding it, no helmet, red hear flowing behind her, held mostly in place by a black bandanna. In front of her, a small child wearing a helmet with flames on it, that is much too big for the child. We follow the motorcycle as it makes a gentle turn, then goes a few miles more until it comes upon what looks like a small church complex. There's a chapel, it appears and some small houses, surrounded by a wall. The gate is open, and the motorcycle turns in. Chickens scatter, and a few nuns walk toward the bike. The motorcycle comes to a stop and the woman lifts the child off the seat to stand on the ground, which apparently aggravates some injury. She gets off the bike, holding her ribs, the camera focusing on her Tony Llama boots. So are the nuns.

Nun1: Nice boots.

FW: They were a gift.

Maybe they're speaking English. Maybe it's Spanish with English subtitles...your call.

The woman removes her sunglasses and we see it's Firewoman. She flips open the visor on the child and we see a 10 year old boy's face, grinning.

Nun2: And who is this?

FW: He says his name is David *pronounced dah-VEED...cos Spanish.*....and he is running away because his parents beat him.

David nods.

FW: Now, I have explained to him I will take him somewhere safe, but that he mustn't lie to me or to you about such things. If he tells the truth, he will be believed, and you will take care of him and make sure he's stays safe and happy until he gets to a good family. Yes?

The first nun nods, and she and the second nun start to lead the boy away.

FW: Hey squirt....you have my lid.

The child smiles and takes her helmet off, which is fairly easy, since it's too big. Fire smiles and tousles his hair as he runs to catch up with the nuns. Fire fiddles with her riding gloves, adjusts her bandana, and looks around nervously. She checks her cell phone, and plays a message. It is clearly Alex's first one, because she frowns deeply.

FW: Geezus, I left you the Bugatti, since Lexie still has your McLaren, quit yer bitchin'.

Fire does not listen to the remaining messages. The first nun comes back up.

Nun1: He will be well cared for, I promise.

FW: He's not lying. I can tell. I used to be him.

Nun1: I understand. Please, come eat with us. We don't have much but--

FW: Naw, I can't hang too long. So, is the priest in?

Nun1: Not right now, he's--

FW: Do you know how long he'll be? I missed confession yesterday, and I need to do the full on Ash Wednesday thing.

Nun1: Oh, I'm sorry, senora...he won't be back until Good Friday. He does a thing where he wanders in the desert like Christ for 40 days.

FW: Ah....gotcha.....

Fire turns and goes to her bike, gingerly getting on. The nun follows.

Nun1: But ... are you hurt?

FW: Nah, nothing a little love and whiskey wouldn't cure.

Fire looks at the nun for a minute, as if she's .... considering something. The nun becomes really uncomfortable all of a sudden, as if Firewoman had noticed she was very, very beautiful under that habit. Fire shakes her head.

FW: Sorry, sister. I'll find a priest up the road.

Fire fires up the motorcycle, and lets it quiet down to an idle.

FW: One more thing....

Nun1: Yes?

FW: If I hear that David is sent back home, or anything bad happens to him while in your care?

Nun1: ....

FW: Because I WILL know.

Nun1: ....

FW: I will come back here and burn the place down.

Nun1: .........

Fire replaces her helmet, leaving the nun visibly shaken, and then accelerates quickly to a more Fire-like pace back out the gate and to the road. Two more nuns come running up, and we can't quite tell what they're saying, except the words "la diabla" are clearly heard.

FAAAAADE.

Victor is sitting alone in the Destroyatorium when Danny come in fresh off his encounter wtih Folz. He glances over at Victor and immediately starts making a bee line for the opposite end of the room. Victor struggles to his feet and starts trying to hobble after Danny. Seeing he won't make it, Victor yells for him.

DVD: Danny wait!

Danny pauses and takes a deep breath before turning around. Victor stops in front of him and looks up at him with sadness in his eyes.

DVD: You have to believe me, I never wanted this.

Danny raises an eyebrow in question.

DVD: I didn't know Alex would take it that far that quick.

Danny shakes his head and points to his bandages and shakes his head no. He then stares daggers at Victor.

DVD: Woah! Hold up, I was completely ready to let you talk to Alex first. You have to believe that I had no clue what Lexie was up to.

Danny just crosses his arms across his chest, and Victors shoulders visibly drop.

DVD: You do believe me don't you?

Before Danny can respond, Alexander Darling strolls into the room. He notices the postures of Danny and Victor, and calmly makes his way towards them. Victor however, tenses up and cuts him off.

DVD: What the hell was that? You had to go for blood right off the back?

Alex: This is what you wanted Vic, someone that was willing to not hold back and prepare Danny for the challenges he is facing. This is what you asked for.

DVD: (scowling) I didn't ask for this, someone else beat me too it.

Alex's smile vanishes, and he goes nose to nose with Victor. Danny sees this and steps between them facing Alex down. Alex takes a step back and smiles.

Alex: Even when you don't see eye to eye, your loyalty to each other never waivers. (his smile fades) Don't lose that.

Alex takes a breath.

Alex: Look, I'm not here for a fight. I know none of us wanted this to happen how it is, but it is. I'm willing to teach, if you are willing to learn...so are you.

Danny looks to Victor, who simply nods back to Danny. Danny then locks eyes with Alex and nods.

Alex: Good, then consider this lesson number 2. I surrounded the ring at Mayhem with weapons, the one thing you refuse to use. That's not a bad thing, unless it becomes your sole focus.

Danny leans back a little, taking in what Alex is saying.

Alex: I didn't beat you because you wouldn't use the weapons, but because you let them become your focus. As soon as I brought them out, you spent all your time focusing on getting rid of them, instead of on beating me. You face a Moose, or a Ghost or a Carter, and they will capitalize on that instantly. You need to take a weapon out of play, fine do it, but don't turn your back on an opponent to do so.

Danny thinks about what Alex has said and nods.

Alex: You nod, but I don't think you truly get it yet, but don't worry, you will.

This isn't going to be easy, and this is only the begining. We didn't ask for this, but we are going to do it right.

Alex then holds his hand out, Danny looks at it for a second before taking it and shaking it. Alex then looks over to Victor and nods his head. Victor pauses for a moment before nodding back. Alex then turns and leave as the camera lingers on a contemplative Danny and a worried Victor as we

FADE in as the Saints leave their locker room and prepare to leave for Texas. As they step outside to their respective rides...

MF: “Stan, where’s your Kia?”

The rest of the Saints look around and notice that Stan’s usual ride, a red 2014 Kia Soul is nowhere to be found.

SF: “I know. Martha’s using it for now. I figured riding in a Kia isn’t exactly the right image for me these days. So I have something coming. Should be here any... oh, there it comes.”

Fulton points to the arena parking lot’s entrance where a semi-truck is pulling in. Splashed across the side of the trailer is the Harley-Davidson logo.

LDW: “You’re driving a Harley semi?”

All laugh at that. The semi pulls right up next to the Saints. The H-D employees open up the back of the semi and rolls out a black 2014 Softtail Fat Boy and rolls it up to Fulton.

HDE: “Mr. Fulton?”

SF: “Yep. Thanks for the delivery. Are the special accommodations ready?”

HDE: “Whenever you are.”

Fulton turns to the Saints.

SF: “You’re all welcome to step inside. There’s a full Harley store in there, including new rides and clothing. Help yourself. It’s all on me.”

The Saints smile as they climb into the semi as we FADE.

*The Murphys walk into the Destroyitarium right after Alex leaves*

Daniella: Yo, Dom, can you show Vic the changes I set up at the bar to get ready for St. Paddy's?

DK: No problem.

*DK puts his arm around Victor's shoulders and walks him over towards the bar*

Daniella: Danny, sorry that we haven't been around as much as we should, but you've got to stay strong.

*DDT shrugs*

Daniella: To be honest, I don't always understand how things work around here, but I think if we go out there and kick ass the rest will take care of itself.

*DDT and Dee exchange fistbumps*

Daniella: OK, I have let my brother pretend he's setting up the bar correctly long enough. I have to go get it right.

*DDT and Dee exchange fistbumps again and she walks off*

We fade into the darkened inside of a cathedral, where we see Firewoman curled up in one of the pews, asleep. She's smiling as if she's dreaming something, although who knows what that might be. There's the sound of a door opening, which causes her to stir, and then suddenly she sits straight up, eyes wide, looking around trying to figure out where she is.

FW: Alex?

She pauses, as the rest of her brain wakes up and then she remembers where she is, and relaxes some. She stretches a bit, as we hear footsteps come closer. She turns slowly to see an older priest come shuffling up the aisle. She yawns as he sits down. He looks a little bit like Reverend Jim from Taxi.

FW: Father....?

FJ: Father James. And you are....?

FW: Um, Fire....uh, no, Lisa.

FJ: Well, Lisa, I have allowed you to sleep here, but we don't usually do that. But they told me that I should.

FW: They?

FJ: *looking and pointing upward* You know....they.

FW: Aaaaah, right.

FJ: Still, the Assumption Catholic Church Bed and Breakfast is now closed. You'll have to be moving along.

FW: I got it....breakfast, you said?

FJ: Nope, got none of that...There's a diner up the way you might like....

FW: I'll check it out, thanks. Look, Father, the reason I'm here...

FJ: Oh, they told me why you're here.

FW: They....they did?

FJ: Sure, they did. Something is troubling you, my child.  They say you seek salvation.

FW: Well...kind of.....I need confession, Father. I missed Ash Wednesday and my job is,... well, it's kind of dangerous. I don't feel like I can go back to work until I take the ashes.

FJ: Confession! Really? You want me to hear your confession?

FW: Um....yes....is that.....odd?

Father James very nearly dances around the room, he's so excited.

FJ: Oh, they are happy. So very, very happy!

FW: Um, good, I ...guess....

Father James starts scurrying around, as if he's looking for something. Fire watches him for a little bit.

FW: Shouldn't we...you know....hit the confessional?

FJ: They are going to be so glad....I just have to find this one thing....

He gradually moves in a path toward the back of the church, and Fire slowly follows.

FW: I can go eat and come back, if now's not a good time?

FJ: Where did I put it, where did I...OH YES!!!

The priest makes a sharp left. Fire does not follow, just stands there trying to figure out what's going on. She hears what may sound like rummaging around a trunk or closet. Finally, Father James comes running out, with two fairly large metal colanders, festooned with antennae and red and blue LED lights.  Of course they are flashing.  He puts one on.

FJ: Here...this is yours.

FW: Um.....you know, I know I'm kind of a lapsed Catholic, but....

FJ: You have to wear it...they won't come get us otherwise!

FW: The angels?

FJ: No, no.....

FW: Saints?

FJ: No, my child....the ALIENS!!

Father James pulls his robes back to reveal a shiny silver jumpsuit.

FW: Aliens?

FJ: Yes! They want to save us all! I just need to find one person, they'll only beam us up two at a time. So here, let's stand really really close and--

FW: If you take one more step, I'm going to forget you're a priest.

FJ: But--

FW: No....NO! Just....stay there.

Fire turns and walks out the front door, where her motorcycle is parked. She looks up the street and sees the International UFO Museum and Research Center, and then down the street, to the Star Child Gift shop, and shakes her head.

FW: Fucking Roswell.

She puts on her helmet, gets on her bike and heads east.

Back inside Father James is standing there, crushed, when another priest walks up behind him.

Pr: What are you doing, Jim.

FJ: I thought I had one....

Pr: Look, if I've told you once I've told you a thousand times, quit scaring away the parishioners. Now get back to work changing the light bulbs.

"Father" James nods and goes to put his helmets away and get back to work.

(The SUV pulls up to the arena in and two large bodyguards get out, scan the area, then hold the doors as Power and Sunny get out. As they get their luggage out of the back a rider on a tricked-out BMX bike approaches. The guards move to intercept the biker but Power calls them back and the rider pops a wheelie right in front of the entourage.)

Power: Hey Tommy, I heard LD tried to make an example out of you!

Tommy: Dudette, ain't nobody keepin' me down for long. You OK after the black witch and her three sparkly dudes came after ya?

Power: Broken, but unbowed. How's the knee?

Tommy: Comin' back. Yours?

Power: No serious damage, but still..yeah, likewise.

Tommy: You and me this week. No issues?

Power: Naah, we're cool.

Tommy: Who's the babe and the giants.

Power: (Putting an arm around Sunny) The “babe” is my Sunny. We're a totally serious thing.

Tommy: Sweet! Cool to meet you, little dudette! Your bud here is a righteous partner.

Sunny: Likewise, Tommy. And you're right. Totally righteous, when she's got someone to watch her back. That's why we're here.

Power: Sunny thinks I've been making some wrong decisions. And she's here, kinda as my guiding light, like she was in...another time.

Tommy: Oh, like with trying to take on your sister's pals all at once? Hiding behind Moosie and the big boys – not cool.

Power: I'll get my chance. We have a few angles we can work, in time. If you're willing, that is.

Tommy: Dudette, always willing to take another shot at the Saints when ya got good peeps backing ya up, ya know?

Power: You got it, Tommy. Hang out later? No boards or bikes right now, though.

Tommy: Up for some high level action?

Power: Sure, lemme know later. While the boss here is working on some of that boring office work, it'd be fun.

Sunny: Hey, I'd love some fun, too!

Power: Yeah, but I know how the other side works. Hate to have you out exposed without our friends here.

Tommy: Yeah, little dudette. These two will slow down the Saints and the sparkly dudes. Ring ya later!

(Tommy rides off and Sunny snickers. Power shoots her a look.)

Sunny: That's Tommy Wilder?

Power: Yeah, so?

Sunny: Oh, you've so got this on Wednesday.

Power: Don’t underestimate him. He's good in the ring and a good friend. He's had my back...

Sunny: We'll see...we'll see. Let's get inside. I feel...exposed out here.

Power: Not as exposed as you will inside.

Sunny: Now now, training.

(They smile as the guards bring their bags and the four enter the arena as we fade.)

SFJ#47: “Gentlemen - and Lady - this week you face Texpress and Mai Muyo in a six person tag match. Your thoughts?”

C: <chuckles> “The Saints vs. the hypocrites.”

M: “Chad, Zane, and little Mai like to talk about how pure and blameless they are. They whitewash over the things they’ve and claim that the past should remain the past. But, they are the first to throw stones…when it applies to anyone other than themselves, the cheetah can never change it’s spots.”

LDW: “Texpress - and now Mai - have appointed themselves the guardians of good in the OOWF. Because they do the right thing - sometimes - they’ve decided they are the ones to decide what the ‘right’ thing is and who is allowed to do it.”

M: “If they want to monopolize “good”, let’em. We’ll take ‘bad’, ‘evil’, ‘ambiguous’ - all the black and grey that the white hats are so afraid of.”

C: “Wednesday night, the OOWF’s little angels will walk the aisle, and the Saints will take them to hell.”

The INC focuses for a bit on a sign outside a cathedral that says "St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Brownfield." We go inside, and we can hear some commotion near the confessionals. It appears there's a whispering female voice from inside, but a slightly louder male voice also.

FV: *whispers*

MV: Oh.....God.....

FV: *whispers*

MV: My....my.....oh.....

FV: *whispers*

MV: No....no........just....NO!

The door to the confessional flies open and the priest comes running out, crossing himself.

P: Holy mother of God....I can't...can't.....no! LA DIABLA! The stories were true!

The other door opens while he's yelling, and Firewoman comes out.

FW: Father! Wait, I need ashes!!

P: No! NOOOOOOOO! Stay away.....go....GO!

The priest runs screaming to the back of the church and out of sight. Fire just stands there a minute.

FW: Well....fuck.

The candles flicker. Fire looks up in annoyance.

FW: Oh, whatever. When a priest doesn't run out on me calling me the devil, then you can bitch.

Fire turns and walks toward the exit, lighting up a cigarette before she leaves. She blows through the doors and then leans against her bike for a while, finishing her smoke. She field dresses it, puts on her helmet, and then heads east on the highway.

Jason Allen walks in a room and sees Jose Reyna talking to a wall. Reyna, wearing shades and bandages over his eyes, turns around with his arms reaching outwards.

Jose: Who goes there!?

Jason: Its Jason. What in gods name are you doing?

Jose: Just finished my promo on Banned from Everywhere.

Jason: You know you were talking to a wall, right?

*Jose's facial expression drops*

The montage shows Fire riding up to various cathedrals. At each stop Fire gets off the bike and goes up to the door. In short order, she leaves, growing increasingly frustrated, and clearly having no ashes on her forehead. In Lubbock she hits the Holy Spirit Catholic church, and is stopped on the steps...

P: I'm sorry, my child...but we are out of ashes.

FW: How can you be out of ashes?

P: It's been almost a week since Ash Wednesday, my child...We don't keep them around.

FW: *taking a drag off her cigarette* You know, I could create some.

P: I'm sorry my child....try St. Elizabeth's.

The priest hurriedly closes the door, possibly muttering something about La Diabla. Fire snarls and continues up the street. We don't hear the conversation at St. Elizabeth's but we can tell it's similarly negative.

She moves on to St. Joseph's, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and St. John Neumann's before heading out of Lubbock. We transition to another Our Lady of Guadalupe in Snyder, followed by another St. Elizabeth's. Back on the bike, and she heads out of town again.

It's much the same all the way towards Gun Barrel City. Our next break, we don't hear what has happened, we see Fire standing again on the steps and a priest barring her entry. He goes in and slams the door on her.

FW: What the fuck with the La Diabla....YOU AREN'T EVEN MEXICAN!!

Fire kicks a trashcan and throws her lit cigarette into it. It predictably bursts into flames.

FW: YOU WANT LA DIABLA? YOU GOT HER, BITCHES!

Fire gets on her bike and screams away.

We next see Fire sitting on a bench outside Beth Yeshua Congregation, talking to a rabbi.

R: I can hear your confession, but I can't do anything else for you.

FW: Oh for Gods' sakes why not? And don't give me any of that La Diabla bullshit--

R: It's not that...it's...well, this is a Jewish synagogue.

FW: ...

R: ...

FW: Don't be ridiculous, there aren't any Jews in Texas.

R: Racist.

FW: No, I have seen your politicians....

R: Okay, good point. But sorry, this isn't the--

FW: Yeah, yeah, yeah, thanks anyway.

Firewoman leaves, gets on her bike, and continues to head east as the music swells then fades.

Christina Gallagher comes in with a dossier of files while Ecosystem is sparring in the ring. She hangs back as Eco pins his sparring partner to the ground with an armbar.



Eco: You have something for me?

Christina: Oh…I don’t want to interrupt your session.

Eco: No, we’re good. Time, Boris.

Eco breaks the hold and rolls out of the ring, grabbing a sweat towel as Christina approaches.

Christina: So I went through the profiles of past and present OOWF talent to find a match for the Suicide Kings' Masked Man…

Eco: And?

Christina: And there were no matches. I mean, there were close matches, certainly. But no one matched exactly. I think…it might be someone you haven’t seen before.

Eco laughs.

Christina: What is it?

Eco: No no no, it is someone we’ve seen before. You didn’t need to do all this work. The answer is obvious.

Christina: Well then, who…

Eco: Did you look at Jeremy Punswick?

Christina: Yes I did, and he was close, but he doesn’t have the exact same body type—

Eco: Then he built up or slimmed down in the off-season. Look, these LBCW guys run together. I’ve sat through enough “masked wrestler” reveals. It’s always the guy who just took some time off.

Christina: That makes sense. It’s just—

Eco: Listen., Christina, you went about this the right way. You just don’t have the experience yet. But you’ll get there. In the meantime, pull me together some tape of Miranda’s last couple matches. You think you know enough at this point to highlight the moves she has a pattern of reversing?

Christina: I see. I think.

Christina bustles off. Eco sits on the mat by the unconscious Boris.

Eco: You know, it’s funny to watch Lisa out there looking for ashes. Did you know that Ash Wednesday isn’t a Holy Day of Obligation in the church calendar? I’m not sure even Mai went. See, the ashes don’t matter much as long as you get the message.

We are dust. And to dust we shall return.

I’ve always liked that better than the alternate messages, anyway. “Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel?” Or “Repent and believe the Good News.” No one believes good news these days. I tried to give Stank the good news that merely surrendering his championship for a short while would help heal his family. I tried to give Lisa the good news in our last match that we could be stronger working together than apart.

But if neither of them wants to repent of their pride…Eco strokes Boris’s face…well, then to dust they shall return.

Pun is filling out paperwork, making phone calls, and handling the work that needs to be done when there is a knock on his door.

Pun: Someone is actually knocking? Come in, come in.

Alexander Darling walks in and takes a seat and before he can get started, Pun jumps in...

I'm sorry about this best of 5. She had my hands tied.

Alex: She's good at that. But I'm not mad. It's just another roadblock and she'll answer for her decisions when the time comes. But tomorrow night's match isn't happening.

Pun: Yes, it is. Like I said, my hands are tied. She had and may still have power of attorney for your contracts here and you are legally obligated to compete in a best of 5 against Danny Taylor.

Alex: And I will. But not tomorrow.

Pun: Come on Mr. Darling. It is what it is and I get that it sucks.

Alex: You're not listening Pun, I'm not wrestling Danny tomorrow. I looked over the contract and yes, I do have to compete in a best of 5 with Danny, but there is no set timeframe. So, we'll do this on my schedule and how I want to. That's exactly what the contract states. That I get to decide the terms and stipulations and the specifics of everything involved in this best of 5.

Pun: That may be accurate, but the rest of the roster is already scheduled to wrestle and the fans would revolt if I took two of our biggest stars off the show.

Alex: Already taken care of. Danny & I will wrestle. We'll just be doing it as partners against two hand-picked opponents.

Pun: And these are high quality wrestlers that the fans will want to see. It's not just two scrubs, right?

Alex slides a folded piece of paper across the table. Pun picks it up and unfolds it.

Really? They agreed to do this for you?

Alex: Of course. I can be very convincing.

Pun: And I assume you don't want Danny to know this ahead of time.

Alex: Of course not. So, we're good.

Pun: We are.

Alex: There is one other thing.

Pun: What's that?

Alex: She can try and keep me away from her new boytoy. And the rest of the Kings can keep running interference for him. But you make sure you let his next of kin know. Christian Carter's day of reckoning is close at hand and I will be the one to put him down. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go and surprise my wife with something.
