OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live From Man, West Virginia
JOSH O’NEAL vs. UNCLE ENTITYJosh comes out first for our opening contest, he is carrying a brick with him, I guess that is just in case he sees Spin anywhere. Entity follows him and the bell ring and we are under way! Collar and elbow tie up, Josh shoves Entity into the corner, the ref wants a clean break, but Entity rakes the eyes. Josh turns and grabs his face, and Entity hits a side Russian leg sweep, cover gets one but Josh powers out easily. Entity pulls Josh to his feet and sends him to the ropes but lowers his head a moment too soon and Josh catches him and hits a pile driver! Josh covers and gets two. O’Neal pulls Entity to his feet and sends him to the ropes and hits a spine buster from hell! Another cover only gets two. Both men are back to their feet, Josh backs Entity into the corner and whips him across to the opposite corner, Entity scales the ropes, but before he can turn around, Josh sprints across the ring and shoves him off the top rope! Entity sails out of the ring and hits the guard rail hard. The referee quickly runs from the ring to check on Entity, Josh waits impatiently in the center of the ring. Suddenly someone slides into the ring, IT’S SPIN HANSEN! Spin spins Josh around and slams him in the face wit ha brick, Josh hits the mat OUT COLD! Spin then takes off. Meanwhile, Entity has recovered and slides into the ring and locks a barely conscious O’Neal in the crucifix, Josh fights it with what little strength he has left, but in the end he is forced to submit.
WINNER in 10:04 – Uncle Entity
SPIN HANSEN vs. SERAPHSpin is escorted back to the ring surrounded by a phalanx of security, he laughs at Josh as Josh heads to the back, also restrained by security. Hansen waits in the ring while Seraph makes his expressionless entrance. Spin slowly walks to the middle of the ring and stares at Seraph and begins laughing at him. Seraph slowly comes to the center of the ring as well and just stares blankly at Spin. After a few seconds of this Spin becomes a bit unnerved and takes a swing at Seraph, Seraph blocks in and slams Spin in the face with a head but to the bridge of the nose, Spin staggers back a few steps and Seraph hits the ropes, Spin tries a clothesline but Seraph slides between his legs and gets to his feet behind Spin, Spin turns and Seraph hammers him with right and left palm thrusts to the side of the head knocking Spin back to the ropes. Seraph tries a whip, but Spin reverses it and tries to bury a knee in Seraph’s midsection, Seraph leaps over the knee and rolls Spin up for a two count. Spin kicks out easily and leaps to his feet, Seraph takes him to the mat with a drop toe hold, then gets to his feet, hits the ropes and connects with a double drop kick to the face. Spin rolls under the ropes and storms around ring side. Hansen jumps on the apron and Seraph attacks grabbing Spin by the head and running him toward the steel ring post, Spin puts on the breaks and slams Seraph’s head into the turnbuckle, then turns and nearly decapitates him with a clothesline. Spin gets a cocky smirk on his face and climbs back into the ring. He grabs Seraph and pulls him to his feet, then whips him hard into the corner. Seraph hits hard and staggers out of the corner and right into a big boot by Spin. Hansen covers, but Seraph gets his shoulder up at two. Hansen pulls Seraph up and sends him to the ropes then catches him in a bear hug. As usual Seraph’s expression registers little pain, but he does start to go limp after a few minutes of Spin squeezing. The referee checks his arm and it drops twice, and is on the way down the third time when Seraph holds it up. Seraph tries to fight out of the move, but Spin is too strong. Finally, Seraph frees himself with an old fashioned thumb to the eye. Spin releases the hold and Seraph gets in a couple of hard European uppercuts, then grabs Spin and hits the PROPITATION! Seraph is too weakened by the bear hug to follow up and he falls to the mat in pain, Spin hits the mat and remains dazed for a moment, then slowly pulls himself to the ropes. While the referee is turned toward Seraph, Josh O’Neal runs to ring side with a light tube, waits for Spin to pull himself to the second rope and BLASTS him in the face with the light tube! Spin grabs his face and writhes in pain, Josh pulls him out of the ring and drops him on the floor with a DDT, then heads to the back. The referee turns around, seeing nothing he assumes that Hansen fell out of the ring after the Propitation (never mind the broken glass) he begins the count, and reaches ten before Spin can get back into the ring.
WINNER in 7:49 Seraph
KZ & THIM REYNOLDS vs. CAPELLAN, STANK & SRIRAMThis one has all the makings of a mat classic. Ok just kidding, this one is gonna be a fight plain and simple. Cap, Stank and Sriram come to the ring first and stand united in the ring, which is impressive considering they are all chasing Altrageous’ Intercontinental title. Thim and kz come out next and charge the ring, Cap, Stank and Sriram leave and meet them half way up the ramp, the referee calls for the bell and this one is under way. Stank takes Moose to the metal ramp with a spear, LD Williams and Capellan furiously exchange shots to the head and Thim catches Sriram with a forearm to the head that sends him back down the ramp, but Sriram is quickly to his feet and dodges a Thim charge. Both men slowly circle each other and look for the opening they need. Stank pulls Moose to his feet and they move to the top of the ramp, Stank bounces Moose’s head off the scaffolding sending Moose to the floor. Williams gets in a low shot on Capellan that knocks him to one knee, Williams looks up and notices Sriram and Thim, Thim works Sriram around so his back is to LD Williams, Williams charges down the ramp and nails Sriram in the back of the head with a forearm that sends him staggering into Thim, Thim catches him and hits a release capture suplex on the floor. LD Williams turns back around and eats a spinning heel kick from Capellan that sends him tumbling into the crowd. Meanwhile at the top of the ramp, Stank drags Moose over to the spotlights and tries to bake Moose’s skull on the hot lights. Moose frees himself with a low blow, and slowly gets to his feet. At ringside, Thim is stalking Sriram, who landed hard on the concrete, as Thim gets closer, Sriram sweeps Thim’s leg and sends him face first into the ring steps. Meanwhile Capellan has followed LD Williams into the crowd and is calling for weapons. Someone busts out Stop Sign and Cap nails Williams with it. Cap then gets cookie sheet and warps that over LDW’s head as well. Finally Cap calls for a chair, but he hesitates a moment too long with it and Williams kicks the chair back into Cap’s face. Back at the top of the ramp, Jack has Stank down, he grabs Stank’s head and pounds away on the big man, but Stank throws Moose aside and slowly gets to his feet, Moose charges, but Stank catches him with a Samoan Drop on the stage! At ringside Thim is on the floor near the steps, Sriram gets to his feet and goes for Thim, but Thim grabs his tights and pulls him into the steel ring post. In the crowd, Capellan and Williams are fighting up toward concession, and at the top of the ramp, Stank and Moose are both back to their feet, both men have chairs and are taking turns smacking each other in the head. The referee assesses the situation and realizes that there is basically no chance of restoring order, so he gives a pretty quick ten count and waves this one off. He quickly calls for security and the locker room empties and pulls all the men apart.
WINNER – No Match
Nelly’s “Here Comes the Boom” plays over the sound system as Black Dragon makes his long anticipated return. The crowd erupts as the former Intercontinental and Tag Champion navigates through the smoke and makes his way to the ring.
He soaks in the chants of "welcome back" and can’t help but smile and feel appreciated.
BD: Damn. You folks sure know how to make a Texas Boy feel like he’s home. And as far as I'm concerned, this is my home and each and every one of you is like family. Maybe not a brother or sister, but at least a distant cousin.
With all that sentimental stuff out of the way, let's keep this short and sweet.
Sometimes life throws us curves that we aren’t ready for. And I pretty much suck at baseball so that curve was a lot more than I could handle at the time. So I took what I thought would be a few weeks off, take care of some personal matters and come back to this ring and be ready to do what I do best and entertain you fans.
But after being away for so long, I didn’t feel up to that task. So I expanded my time off into a working vacation. With the permission of an old friend, I wrestled under his mask in Japan and Mexico for awhile to get back in shape. And here I am, ready to prove why I belong in this ring.
I see a lot of new faces here. One in particular has something that I want. Something that I need. Jim Jones, I don’t know how long you’ve followed the history of OOWF, but allow me to introduce myself to you personally. I am the Black Dragon and I am the greatest technical wrestler this company has ever seen. But since you’re wearing the Onslaught Title, that claim can be disputed for the moment. So how about we have us a little title match? Me and you, one on one to determine who the best pure wrestler is. So what do you say champ?THE DEVIL’S BRIGADE vs. THE HALFRICAN AMERICANSBoth teams make their normal entrances to the ring. The Halfrican Americans look more serious than usual. Fly starts things off, and Camby starts things off for the Devil’s. Camby struts to the center of the ring and the two stand nose to nos…errr Nose to chest. The size difference is considerable. Camby laughs at Fly and shoves him away. Fly walks right back and shoves Camby, Camby retaliates again and Fly walks right back and backhands Camby across the face. Camby EXPLODES and lunges at Fly, but Fly moves out of the way and nails a dropkick to the back of the head sending Camby to the ropes. Fly turns and calls Tommy in, meanwhile Nayr low bridges Camby and Camby goes over the top rope and gets his head caught between the strands. Camby is struggling for breath, his feet dangling just inches from the floor. Fly is still distracting the referee with Tommy, so Nayr jumps off the apron and grabs a chair and slams it right into Camby’s side. Nayr gets back on the apron and Fly turns away from Tommy. The referee finally sees Camby and helps the big man free himself from the ropes. Camby falls to the floor, grabbing his side and gasping for. Harper gets back on the apron and Fly tries to suplex him back in, but Camby blocks it, so Fly releases the hold and hits a kick to Camby’s ribs, tags in Nayr, and they double suplex Camby into the ring. Nayr hits the ropes and lands a springboard suplex on Camby and gets a two count before HC powers out. Nayr pulls Camby to his feet and whips him hard into The Halfrican American’s corner, then follows him in with a flying knee to the midsection. Camby staggers out of the corner doubled over in pain, Nayr tags Fly in and Fly flips over the top rope and lands a leg to the back of Camby’s head. Fly covers, but once again Camby kicks out. Both men are up and Fly tries a whip to the ropes, but Camby reverses it, as Fly hits the ropes, Tommy tags him in the back of the head with a punch to the skull, Fly staggers and Camby catches him wit ha perfect spine buster! Both men are down, Camby is crawling to his corner, holding his ribs, he makes the tag and Tommy comes in, charges across the ring and nails Nayr knocking him off the apron, then hits the ropes and drops a knee across Fly’s chest, a cover only gets a two count though. Tommy mounts Fly and pounds away at his head, only breaking when the referee was about to threaten a disqualification. Tommy pulls Fly to his feet and pulls him up in a delayed vertical suplex, then drops him forward right across the top rope stomach first. Tommy turns around and calls Nayr into the ring, meanwhile Camby grabs the rope and slings Fly out of the ring, Fly flies off the ropes and slams into the steel barricade back first. He falls to the floor in pain. Camby, still holding his ribs, pulls Fly to his feet, slams him face first into the ring post then throws a bloody Fly back into the ring. Tommy turns around and covers Fly, hooking the leg, but Nayr comes in the ring and breaks up the pin with a stiff kick to Tommy’s forehead. The action continues back and forth for several minutes. Fly makes the tag and then falls to the floor bloody and beaten. Fly and a tired Tommy O’Neil slug it out in the center of the ring, Tommy rakes the eyes and makes a desperation tag to Camby, Camby comes in and nearly decapitates Nayr with a clothesline. Camby then pulls Nayr up for a suplex, but Nayr slips behind him and runs him to the ropes for a roll up, when Camby hits the ropes, from the outside Fly swings a chair that crowns Camby, nearly KOing him, Nayr rolls through and bridges and gets the three count just as an exhausted Tommy O’Neil comes in for the save.
WINNERS in 28:08 The Halfrican Americans
UNDERDAWG vs. AX-MAN – Scaffold MatchUD reigns supreme up top as Ax stalls before climbing up. Angelo Barros holds Dawg at bay and allows Ax to climb up and onto the scaffold. Barros steps aside and lets them go. Dawg goes right after Ax, but Ax bails to the ladder. UD follows and tries to kick Ax off, but Ax pulls out a steel bar from beneath the scaffold and hits UD's ankle with it. Then again, and UD falls away, allowing Ax to get back up. Ax stomps the ankle, and it sounds really good as the scaffold rattles with each kick. Ax slams the ankle into the scaffold, then slams it off the edge of it as well. Ax tries pushing UD straight off, but Dawg holds onto the edge and trips Ax up. Ax goes back to the bar and comes back at Dawg, but Dawg meets him with a big boot. UD opens up with punches, and an uppercut nearly knocks Ax 20 feet to the ring below, but Ax is able to hold onto the railing by the ladder. Dawg drags Ax back to the middle of the scaffold and chokes him with his boot. Dawg signals for the CHOKESLAM FROM THE KENNEL and goozles Ax. But Dawg takes a peer to the mat below... and decides to try to commit murder on live TV. He makes a 90 degree turn and instead of doing it on the scaffold, Dawg is gonna choke slam Ax all the way to hell! But the momentary change of plans allows Ax to stomp the ankle again to break the hold. A
super kick knocks UD off the scaffold, and Dawg hangs on by the support beams by the ladder. He tries to climb back up, but Ax stomps at his paws. Ax kicks UD in the face, and knocks one hand off, but UD is still holding on. But when Dawg turns around, Ax hits him in the face with the steel bar and UD falls to the canvas hard, giving Ax the upset victory.
WINNER in 8:02: AX-MAN
b]THE CHICKENSHIT HEELS vs. THE TEAM FROM DOWN UNDER – kz special referees[/b]
The Team From Down Under vs. The Chickenshit Heels w/Special Referees Moosehead Jack and LD Williams
You know we’re going to get a long, drawn out psychological drama before this match starts, so TTFDU is prepared with a cooler full of beer. Attitude Adjuster and Johnny Adrenaline are already complaining about the circumstances, and it looks like AA’s on the phone trying to get a last-minute injunction from his attorney. He obviously couldn’t get anything accomplished, because he snaps his phone shut and then throws it into the crowd in anger. AA grabs an announce headset.
AA: Johnny and I said we would not wrestle KZ to prove we’re bigger heels. So The Rick throws us a curveball and allows KZ to referee this match. You think we’re stupid! We know KZ will find a way to make us fight them, but we’re a step ahead. Johnny, explain to these idiots what we’re going to do.
JA: We’re going to lose by count out. Screw KZ. They want us so bad, they’re going to have to think of something better than being special guest referees!
With that, KZ comes to ringside, dressed in striped black and white ref shirts. Moose stares down AA while LD glares at Johnny.
AA: You can’t touch us! You’re referees! Plus, the crowd loves you!
The crowd cheers and Moose gets angrier.
AA: So get into the ring and count us out!
But the standoff continues, and The Rick comes to ringside.
TR: You four jackoffs are ruining my show! I’m not going to allow this to turn into a travesty! What do you think this is, the Great American Bash? We’re going to have our scheduled match. AA, JA, if you don’t get into the ring and have a match, you’re suspended indefinitely. (AA and JA look to each other like it’s not a bad idea.) WITHOUT PAY!
AA and JA go into their best Ric Flair apoplectic seizure fit. Then they suddenly calm down and AA whispers in JA’s ear. JA looks a little unsure, but points AA to the ring. With AA in the ring, Outback Jack stands up and joins AA. The bell rings, and it looks like we have a match. Moose slides into the ring, with LD apparently deciding to be the outside ref. AA starts to talk to Outback, and points his finger in Outback’s chest. Outback’s unsure, so AA does it again. Outback smiles, shakes AA’s hand, then turns around to grab a beer. AA again pantomimes a poke to the chest. Outback looks like he’s going for the FINGERPOKE OF DOOM! AA closes his eyes and prepares to fall. But instead, Outback clobbers AA WITH THE BEER CAN! AND THE BELL RINGS! Moose grabs the mic.
MHJ: Because Outback used an illegal weapon, the winners of this match are The Chickenshit Heels. Which means next week, it’s TCH vs. KZ!
TR: NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! I will not allow this douchebaggery from any of you! I see what you’re trying to do Moose. The Chickenshit Heels have to win this match fair and square! This is now a no-DQ match! Restart this match!
AA has another apoplectic fit, and doesn’t see Outback and Gator readying behind him. AA finally turns around. DOUBLETEAM FLAPJACK! Gator goes for the pin, but Moose seems to have a leg cramp or something because he can’t get to the ground for the count. Onnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeee. Twwwwwwwwwooooooooooooo. Then MHJ gets up and signals that Gator isn’t the legal man. Gator and Outback are outraged, and so is AA. And Moose isn’t real happy either. Both teams now understand what’s going on. TCH want to lose but Moose won’t let them, and TTFDU want to win and Moose won’t allow it. WHAT AN ANGLE! WE DON’T HAVE WRITER MONKEYS IN THE OOWF!!!!
Of course this blows as far as work rate is concerned, and look how long this match is already. So let’s just go to end game, shall we? Johnny and Gator are the legal men, with Gator standing on the ring apron and Johnny trying to suplex him back into the ring. But Gator blocks it once, blocks it again, then tries to suplex Johnny inside out! He’s got it. He holds Johnny upright, then falls backward. THE CARNAGE!!! No! LD Williams catches Johnny! But without Johnny to take the brunt of the fall, Gator falls head-first on the floor. Johnny breathes a sign of relief, and LD asks if he’s OK. Johnny says he’s OK, so LD crushes him with an overhand right and tosses him back into the ring. Johnny crawls over to tag AA, but Gator’s still groggy on the outside. LD tosses Gator back in the ring far away from Outback, so he has to make the FACE CRAWL OF AGONY! But AA cuts him off, picks him off and hits some pretty impressive offense—well, we are talking AA here, so it’s a low blow, a DDT and a bunch of smack talking. AA snapmare take down and surprisingly goes for the pin, Moose is shocked for a second, then drops down for a fast ONETWOTHR. But AA pulls Gator up by the hair and smiles at Moose. MORE MIND GAMES! AA laughs at Moose, and Moose is about lose it and attack AA. But Gator grabs AA by the tights. Small package! One, Two, THREE!! Gator leaps up to celebrate, and Johnny and AA instantly start to leave, happy to lose. But Moose and LD are discussing and tapping their shoulders. Finally, Moose walks to the ring announcer.
The referees have conferred and, according to referee Williams, Gator’s shoulders were on the mat for the three count.
YOUR WINNER in 15:19, The Chickenshit Heels!
Neither team can believe the decision. TCH start to complain to Moose and LD, then decide against it. TTFDU complains to KZ, but Williams stands fast that he saw Gator’s shoulders on the mat. On the big screen, it’s obvious that AA’s shoulders were pinned, and the crowd reacts wildly. But LD says his decision stands, and KZ leaves the ring smugly.
JIM JONES vs. CONCRETE TG – OOWF Onslaught Championship Match – no time limitCrete gets a headlock takeover to start things, but Jones counters out into a hammerlock. CTG reverses to his own, but Jones trips him up and takes him down into an STF like move. Crete manages to break the leverage though and gets a rollup for two. Jones sweeps the legs, but CTG kicks him off into the corner. Concrete charges, but Jones gets a Brisco rollup for two. All of this in the early going. Jones charges this time, but Crete backdrops him, then gets a deep arm drag into the arm bar. Jones to his feet and tries a jawbreaker with the free arm, but Crete blocks it and hits a reverse suplex instead. Concrete looks for the SCAFFOLD... and not the one Ax and UD did battle on earlier... but Jones scurries away, going under the ropes and pulling himself off the apron to the floor. Jones milks a nine count before stepping back in. Collar and elbow tie-up, and this time it's Jones grabbing the headlock and taking CTG down. Crete counters with a head scissors, but Jones breaks the headlock, hooks the legs, and gets a two count. Jones ducks a clothesline, then catches CTG with a back elbow. Jones drops the elbow and goes back to the headlock. CTG to his feet and gets a belly to back suplex, and bridges for the cover! One, two, but Jones kicks out. Jones sweeps the legs out again and looks for a figure four, but Crete tries to counter with an inside cradle. Jones, however, grabs CTG's arm and twists him down into a cross arm breaker. Crete looks for the ropes but is caught dead center of the ring as we pass the ten minute mark. Crete looks as if he might tap, but somehow gets Jones onto his back and covers! One, two, but Jones rolls thru and reapplies the hold. This time though, Crete is at the ropes, climbs them with his feet and pushes off and flips out of the leverage. Jones is pissed and charges, but Crete hits the deck and Jones tumbles hard over the top to the floor. Crete shakes some feeling back into the arm, and after Jones beats the count, tries to suplex the champion in from the apron. But Jones hits the shoulder in mid-air and lands on top for the cover. One, two, and Crete kicks out. Jones goes to work on the arm. Two stiff arm drags, tugging at the arm each time, then a single arm DDT. CTG gets some kicks in, and then ducks a clothesline and tries a backslide. But the arm won't hold, and Jones immediately reverses into a crossface chickenwing! Dead center of the ring, too, and CTG is in trouble. Crete wiggles toward the ropes a little, but is still a long way away. Concrete rolls Jones onto his back and gets two, but Jones rolls the other way, back away from the ropes, and maintains the hold. Crete tries going that way to the ropes, and again, makes little progress. By this time, Jones has had the hold applied for nearly three minutes, and Crete is fading. Junior Hale checks the arm for one. Checks the arm for two. Checks the arm for... no, he's still in it. Crete fights up to his feet somehow, then sacrifices his own arm by driving Jones back into a corner. Then he charges to the opposite corner, taking Jones with him, and sends him headfirst to the turnbuckle, breaking the hold. Clothesline with the good arm, and another. Jones ducks a third try, but Crete hits a simple drop toehold instead. SCAFFOLD~! But Jones shifts his weight and gets a rollup! One, two... and Crete kicks out. Jones charges, and CTG hotshots him onto the top rope... right back into the CEMENT MIXER~! But Jones has a counter for that and rolls Crete up again! One, two, and Crete kicks out again. Both men frustrated now, and Jones sends Crete to the ropes, but misses a high knee and crotches himself on the top rope. Crete pulls him to the nearest corner and looks for a superplex. Jones fights him on the top, then takes Crete's head and slams it off his knee. CTG falls back to the middle of the ring and Jones follows him down with a knee drop! Cover... one, two, three! Jones retains in a classic!
