OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Tijuana, Mexico
THE DEAD vs. NAYRNayr the Halfling Luchadore sprints down the aisle, slides into the ring and hops onto the turnbuckles to pose for the enthusiastic crowd. A small group of fans starts a “Halfling” chant, and Nayr goes out to the floor to talk to them as The Dead enters the arena. Dead stops for a moment on the stage and drinks in the fans' cheers. He makes his way down the aisle as Nayr climbs back in, and they meet in the middle of the ring. They exchange a few words and bump knuckles, then head to their corners. Referee Junior Hale calls for the bell and we're under way.
Dead takes advantage off the lock up and backs Nayr into the corner. A series of blistering chops stagger the smaller man, and Dead sends him across the ring. Nayr runs up the turnbuckles into a flip, but Dead catches him – Power slam. Dead hooks the leg and gets two. Dead with a kick to the back as Nayr sits up, then goes to the ropes and nails a dropkick to the jaw. A quick cover gets another two.
Dead pulls Nayr to his feet and tries for a suplex, but Nayr lands on his feet behind him. Dead turns and eats a forearm, followed by another. Nayr backs Dead to the ropes and sends him across the ring. He tries for leapfrog, but dead catches him. Nayr reverses into a huricanrana. He hooks both legs and gets a two count. He goes to the far ropes and hits a flying knee to the face as Dead gets up. He tries for another cover, but Dead kicks out with authority at one.
Nayr tries for an Irish whip as Dead gets up, but Dead reverses. Nayr ducks a clothesline and comes back with a flying forearm, but Dead drops to the mat to avoid it. Nayr rolls back to his feet and turns, and narrowly avoids the CTC. Nayr aims a kick of his own, but Dead catches it. An enzugiri by Nayr is blocked as well, and Dead plants him with a wheelbarrow suplex. Dead comes off the ropes and drops a leg across Nayr's throat. He covers, and gets a long two count.
Dead scoops Nayr up for a body slam, but he slips out behind him. Dead spins around with a clothesline, but Nayr ducks and catches Dead with a kick that knocks him against the ropes. Nayr backs up a few steps and gets a running start, but Dead backdrops him over the ropes. Nayr hooks the top rope and manages to land on the apron as Dead stumbles away from the ropes. Dead turns around and Nayr springboards off the top rope – and right into the Close the Casket. Ow. Dead covers Nayr and hooks the leg for the academic three count.
WINNER, in 7:12, The Dead.
IHOP vs. TEAM TeAMIHOP comes to the ring first, sans their usual entourage except for the Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth. SYB and Skurge step between the ropes and wait for Team TeAM. Team TeAM is announced, but only Tytan makes his way to the ring. SYB is laughing the whole time and pointing at Tytan. He gets into the ring, and SYB grabs a mic, never a good idea:
So, Drago, where is your partner? Seems like he was smart enough not to show up and face us, too bad I can’t say the same for you!Tytan resists the urge to tear SYB’s head off, and we can see him repeating the “work smarter, not harder” mantra as he grabs his own mic:
It seems my partner has not been seen since the pay per view. So, in line with what Eco has taught me about working smarter, not harder, there is no reason for me to take on both of you alone. Tytan starts to leave the ring while SYB celebrates
……….that is, unless you would be willing to make it a one on one match up
SYB: Why would we want to do that? We have the advantage, we stand to get the win! Too bad chump! Take your sorry ass and head to the back!
Tyt: Ok, fair enough. I guess you didn’t want another shot at the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Title then……. Tytan begins to leave, but SYB stops him
SYB: Wait, hold on, what? You didn’t say that! Hell yes I want a shot at the title! Ring monkey! Ring the bell!<SYB and Skurge argue, but SYB assures him that he has things under control>
TYTAN vs. SYB – OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Title MatchSYB charges across the ring and catches Tytan with a punch to the jaw that actually rocks Tytan back a step, SYB pushes Tytan against the ropes and tries a whip, but Tytan holds on and pulls SYB back to him and hits a release belly to belly suplex that sends SYB over the top rope and crashing through the Belizean Announce Table! SYB IS DEAD! Tytan takes his time getting out of the ring, flips SYB over in the wreckage and covers, a referee appears and counts
ONE…..TWO….THREE! Winner in 1:14 and STILL DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion – Tytan. Tytan appears to be content with this win and gets to his feet and grabs his title and starts up the ramp, but SYB grabs a nearby bottle and throws it at Tytan’s skull with an accuracy that a Mets pitcher hasn’t seen since Tom Seaver. The bottle bounces off Tytan’s skull, sending him to one knee grabbing his head in pain. SYB somehow manages to get to his feet and runs at Tytan as he stands up and hits the MAZELTOV COCKTAIL on the floor! SYB rolls a stunned Tytan over and covers, and a referee appears
ONE…..TWO….THREE! Winner in 6:11 and NEW DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion – SYB. SYB grabs the title and takes off for the back of the arena. Skurge and The Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth are stunned as he races past them to the back. A few seconds later, Tytan comes too and sees SYB hauling ass, so he takes off to the back as well. A camera pans to the back of the arena and we see SYB racing down the hall, with Tytan coming after him. SYB rounds a corner and we see Ecosystem standing there warming up for his match against Poe later that night. As SYB runs past him, Eco sticks his foot out and SYB goes tumbling down the hall, screaming FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK the whole time. SYB gets to his feet and turns around to protest, and Tytan is on him and SPEARS him nearly cutting him in half! Tytan covers and the referee appears again
ONE…TWO….THREE! WINNER in 13:17 and NEW DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion – Tytan. Tytan gets to his feet, breathing heavily. After all, that’s a lot of running for a big man. He walks over to Ecosystem with the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal title sling over his shoulder.
Tytan: So…….you ready for Poe tonight?
Eco: AS ready as I have ever been. It’s time to teach him that being a bully never pays! It reminds me of the old proverb……..While Eco goes on about some proverb about being a bully, SYB crawls over to Tytan and gets to his feet behind his back and hits the JERSEY TURNPIKE! Tytan is doubled over in pain and SYB grabs him and hits the SHYLOCK STUNNER! SYB then grabs a chair and SMACKS Tytan upside the head with it, opening a gash on his forehead. SYB falls on Tytan and the referee appears again
ONE……TWO…..THREE! WINNER in 16:59 and NEW DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion – SYB. SYB struggles to his feet and raises the title over his head, and I guess in his mind this is the time to cut a promo. He calls over SFJ4 and starts talking:
No one thought I could do it! No one thought I could beat Tytan! Well here I am the OOWF D….OOOOOF!Tytan slams the chair down on SYB’s head, nearly caving his skull in in the process. He pulls SYB to his feet and hits the STEINER SCREWDRIVER on the cement floor! Now SYB really is dead! Tytan covers and the referee appears
ONE….TWO…..THREE! WINNER in 19:38 and NEW DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion – Tytan. SYB is out cold, and Tytan and the referee are just sort of standing there……
Tyt: SO…..uh, should I cover him again?
Ref: Well……I don’t suppose you have to, I mean, the time limit is up in a few seconds, and he might be dead, so…….
Tyt: Yeah, gotcha, just check the time, ok?The referee looks at his watch and frantically waves for the bell! Tytan has the title, so he wins the match!
WINNER in 20:00 – Tytan
A bloody Tytan walks over to Eco, who was talking the whole time, and is now finishing his story, oblivious to what had gone on around him
…….and so the mouse said “I see the error of my ways, from now on, there are nuts for everyone!” And that is the lesson I am going to teach………you’re bleeding
Tyt: Yeah, I just had a match
Eco: Really? Against who?
Tyt: SYB…….for the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal title
Eco: Did you win?
Tyt: You really didn’t see any of it?
Eco: No, I was relating a story
Tyt: Yeah I won, I have the title
Eco: Well done then!Tytan shakes his head and heads to the locker room
ANDERS DENIAL vs. SPIN HANSENAnders Denial is out first, slowly making his way to the ring. Denial stares at the fans, then slowly climbs into the ring and heads to the corner with his head down, shaking with silent laughter. Spin Hansen is announced next, and he comes out to the top of the ramp and soaks in the cheers of the crowd. Spin missed the entire tour of Japan, and no one seems to know where he was exactly. Where were you Spin? Hansen makes his way to the ring and steps between the ropes, and Denial immediately charges out of the corner and attacks, sending Spin to the mat with a vicious chop to the back of the head. Spin tries to shake it off, but Denial catches him with a boot to the jaw that sends him between the ropes to the floor. Denial leaves the ring and pursues his prey, pulling Spin to his feet scooping him up and slamming him on the floor. Denial hops to the apron and runs the apron and tries a leg drop, but Spin moves out of the way and Denial gets nothing but concrete. With Denial sitting on the floor in pain, Spin gets to his feet and blasts him with a kick to the head that sends him backward, the back of his head crashing into the ring post. Spin pulls a dazed Anders Denial to his feet and rolls him under the bottom rope back into the ring. Hansen steps between the ropes, runs the ropes and drops an elbow across Denial’s chest and covers him. The referee counts two, but Denial jams his thumb in Spin’s eye forcing Spin to break the pin. Spin staggers around the ring and Denial gets to his feet and grabs Spin and runs his face along the top rope, then slams him into the corner turnbuckle. Spin staggers away trying to clear his vision and Denial lifts him and dumps him to the mat with a belly to back suplex. Denial stalks Spin and waits for him to struggle to his feet again, and kicks him in the gut, doubling him over, then bounces off the ropes and takes Spin to the mat with a devastating neck breaker. Denial covers, but Spin kicks out at two. Denial backs Spin into the corner, and hidden from the referee’s view, he bites Spin on the bridge of the nose, drawing blood. Spin howls in pain and shoves Denial away and staggers to the middle of the ring. Denial stands in the corner and starts to chop, then charges out of the corner and BLASTS Spin with the BUSINESS SIDE! Spin falls to the mat dazed, but Anders doesn’t cover for some reason, he pulls Spin to his feet and lifts him for a pile driver, but Spin manages to block it and reverse it into an ALABAMA SLAM! The back of Denial’s head SLAMS off the canvas and Spin rolls him up hard and gets the one, two, three just before Denial kicks out!
WINNER in 12:49 – Spin Hansen
After the match, Spin struggles to his feet and walks right into another BUSINESS SIDE! Spin falls to the mat in a heap and Denial is on him, he pulls something out of his pants that looks like a shiv and slices at Spin’s forehead, leaving bloody gashes on Spin’s forehead before officials flood the ring and pull him off
PHANTOS & LUCIOS vs. TEAM FUELPhantos and Lucios are out first, and they get a tremendous response from the Tijuana crowd, Mexico has a strong heritage of masked wrestlers, so Phantos and Lucios are well loved here. Phantos and Lucios climb to the middle turnbuckle in opposite corners and salute the fans, who return the love with even louder cheers. While they are saluting the fans, Evans and Larson sneak to the ring through the crowd, hop the guard rail and slide into the ring and attack Phantos and Lucios from behind. Evans pulls Phantos off the turnbuckle and drops him to the mat with a neck breaker. Larson knocks Lucios off the ropes, but the big man connects with a couple of shots to Larson’s head until Evans runs over and nails him from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. Lucios falls to his knees, and Larson and Evans hit opposite ropes and Evans connects with a kick to the back of Lucios head as Larson hits him with a kick to the face. Lucios slumps to the mat and Larson rolls him out of the ring while Evans hits Phantos, who is just back to his feet, with a spinning heel kick. Evans pulls Phantos back to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him in a bear hug on the rebound, and Larson POPS Phantos in the mouth with a super kick! Phantos falls to the mat and Evans covers, but Phantos manages to roll his shoulder at two. Evans pulls Phantos to his feet and traps him in an abdominal stretch, and Evans gets a running start and NAILS Phantos in the head with a knee! Phantos slumps to the mat, he looks like he is out cold! Evans and Larson stand over him for a moment, not quite sure what to do, then they turn and see Lucios on the outside. They both get a running start and leap over the top rope and DRIVE Lucios to the floor. Inside the ring, the referee checks on Phantos and quickly makes the dreaded “X” sign and officials come to the ring and check on him. On the other side of the ring, Larson pulls Lucios to his feet and tries to whip him into the stairs, but Lucios reverses it and sends Larson crashing hard into the stairs. Evans grabs Lucios and spins him around and tries a right hand, but Lucios blocks it and hits Evans in the face with a head butt. Lucios grabs Evans and presses him above his head and drops him throat first on the guard rail. Lucios now sees that his partner is in trouble and climbs into the ring. He asks the medics what is going on and they try to explain it. Lucios is so involved with concern for his partner that he doesn’t notice Fuel back in the ring, they grab him and KILL him with TOTAL ELIMINATION! Evans rolls Lucios up and the referee hits the mat and makes a somewhat fast three count, probably just eager to get the match over with so they can get Phantos out of the ring.
WINNERS in 8:14 – Team Fuel
Evans and Larson celebrate their win, but Lucios will have none of it, he rolls out of the ring and grabs a t-shirt cannon, and fires shirts at Fuel until they flee the ring. Lucios then goes to the corner where his partner is now sitting up. He helps him out of the ring, then helps him to the back. From what we can see, Phantos has NO idea where he is.
THIM REYNOLDS vs. CONCRETE TG vs. DH MAGNUSSONAll three are announced and make their way to the ring and get loud cheers from the crowd. Once in the ring, we get a rare handshake from all three participants, then they head to separate corners and wait for the bell to ring. The bell rings and they move to the middle of the ring and DH and Thim lock up and DH snaps Thim to the mat with an arm drag, and quickly gets to his feet, and Crete grabs him in a side head lock and takes him to the mat, Magnusson quickly gets to a vertical base and shoves Crete to the ropes and drops to the mat on the rebound, Crete steps over DH and gets hip tossed by Thim. Thim turns to Magnusson and grabs him from behind and lifts him and takes him to the mat and works the hammer lock, but Magnusson manages to get to his feet and reach the ropes, forcing the break. As soon as Thim releases the hold, Crete grabs him from behind and rolls him up for a two count. Thim kicks Crete off hard, and he stumbles back into Magnusson, who lifts him for an atomic drop sending him right into a belly to belly suplex from Thim. Thim covers Crete, but Magnusson breaks it up at two with a boot to the back of the head. Magnusson pulls Thim to his feet and throws him between the ropes to the floor, then pulls Crete up and hooks him for a vertical suplex, leaving him up there for a bit to think about it, then falls backward crashing to the mat, floats over and covers, but Thim is quickly back into the ring to break it up. Thim grabs Magnusson and rocks him with a series of shots to the big, nasty knot on his forehead from the pay per view, then sends him shoulder first into the corner, slamming Magnusson’s shoulder into the ring post. Thim turns his attention back to Crete, who is on his feet now. Crete tries a boot to the gut, but Thim catches it, spins Crete around, but Crete hits one of those Kofi kicks and Thim goes down like he has been shot. Crete covers and gets a two count, Thim manages to roll his shoulder just before the three count. Magnusson is on his feet in the corner, waiting. Crete pulls Thim to his feet and tries a suplex, but Thim blocks it and lifts Crete for a suplex of his own, that’s when Magnusson charges out of the corner and KO’S Thim with a running boot to the face! Thim drops Crete awkwardly on his head, DH pulls Crete up and KILLS him with the JERSEY HAMMER! then throws a dazed Crete out of the ring to the floor. Magnusson pulls Thim up and hits the DREAM STREET! Thim struggles for a moment, but he can’t escape and he is forced to tap.
WINNER in 9:09 – DH Magnusson
FIREWOMAN vs. DAVIN MORELANDOur next match is about to start and it’s sure to be a battle of attrition as former allies continue their brutal encounters with one another. Davin Moreland is set to take on Firewoman next, but right now there is word coming from the back about an attack…
The cameras backstage turn on and we see Davis Hightower trying to separate Firewoman and Davin, but he’s having no luck as Fire picks up a shipping crate and slams it across Davin’s back sending him crashing to the ground. Firewoman works her way behind DM and looks to be setting him for a curb stomp, but Davin is too aware and rolls over onto his back and as Fire tries to lock his feet, DM throws his legs up and wraps them around Fire’s neck and locks in a TRIANGLE CHOKE. He’s got it really cinched in and it looks like FW is fading, but as she falls to her knees, she reaches out with a left hand and grabs a clangy poly and slams it into Davin’s skull. Moreland has no choice but to let go of the triangle and Fire falls back trying to catch her breath while Davin tries to clear the cobwebs and security is finally able to separate the two. Davis Hightower tells them to keep apart until the match begins and he heads out to the ring.
Dream Theater’s “Pull Me Under” begins to play a few moments later and blue and white lights start to alternate flashes throughout the arena. After about a minute there is a big pyro explosion and Davin Moreland appears at the top of the ramp. He begins to walk down the ramp when he is slammed in the back with a steel chair and goes tumbling the rest of the way. Firewoman stalks her prey down to the ring and Davin staggers to his feet against the steel ring post. FW sensing opportunity to put Davin down charges at him, but Moreland is able to sidestep Fire and hits a drop toehold that sends Fire crashing into the post face-first. Now it’s Davin’s turn to approach Fire from behind and he looks to lock her legs but she rolls over as well and grabs his hands and performs a monkey flip on Davin. But Davin’s athletic enough to flip all the way over and he lands on his feet. He catches FW standing up and goes to hit a huge release German suplex, but this time it’s Fire with the agility to land on her feet and this time before Davin can react, Firewoman springs out at him and hits a CHOP-BLOCK to the back of his knee.
Firewoman rolls him into the ring and follows him in as Hightower finals calls for the bell to officially start this match. Which may have been a bit preemptive because as soon as Fire gets into the ring Davin spins her right back around and flings her through the ropes all the way to the floor. DM hops up to his feet and begins shaking his leg to get some feeling back as the crowd starts rhythmically clapping as Davin hits the far ropes and comes running towards Firewoman…NO HANDED OVER THE TOP ROPE PLANCHA and Fire crashes to the floor. Davin gets to his feet and drags Fire with him and whips her hard into the guardrail. He charges at her, but she’s able to duck her head and back body drops Davin into the third row of the audience. FW looks around and pushes a little kid out of his seat and grabs his chair and starts repeatedly slamming it into Davin’s back. She jumps up onto the guardrail and leaps at Davin and takes him down with a slick looking HURRICANRANA that sends the audience scattering.
Firewoman is up to her feet first and she tosses Davin back over the guardrail. She uses that same guardrail for some leverage as she somersaults over and connects with a leg-drop to the back of Davin’s head. Back to their feet once again and once again Fire goes to toss DM back into the ring but this time he stops his momentum on the bottom rope and REBOUND LARIAT nearly takes Fire’s head off. Davin starts searching under the ring and he pulls out a kendo stick and starts smashing it across Fire’s back. Fire scurries around the ring and starts looking under the ring herself and finds a kendo stick of her own.
Now Davin and Fire are trading shots with their kendo sticks and Hightower has finally had enough and calls for the bell once again.
WINNER – No Contest in 22:18
The Official Result is a NO CONTEST but that doesn’t seem to matter one bit to Fire and Davin as they continue to swing away at each other with their kendo sticks. Security is out to try and separate the two but that is a huge mistake as Fire and DM are just randomly swinging the sticks now and are taking out the security one by one. As soon as enough security is down, Fire and Davin are back at each other and just start nailing each other in the head as they back up the ramp. Both have started to bleed as they make it backstage. Again, the official result is a no contest, but this war is far from over.
THE CHICKENSHIT HEROES vs. KZ – OOWF World Tag Team Title Non-Title MatchThe challengers are out first, and the crowd makes their hatred known. kz storm down the aisle oblivious until an overzealous fan waves a pro-CSH sign in their faces and nearly loses his hands. Moosehead Jack rolls into the ring and slouches in the corner, while L.D. Williams steps through the ropes and starts to warm up. The lights dim and the crowd holds its breath in anticipation - then explodes as the champions make their entrance. The Chickenshit Heroes, titles draped over their shoulders, make their way slowly down the aisle, talking animatedly. They stop at ringside and seem to reach a decision then set their belts on the apron and climb into the ring. Referee Angelo Barros calls for the bell and we're off.
Williams and Johnny Adrenaline circle and lock – nope - Williams slips the lockup and slams a head butt into Adrenaline's nose. Let the bleeding begin. Moose whistles to get Barros' attention, and Williams delivers a low blow, then slips behind Johnny and pulls him into a backbreaker across his knees. Williams rolls to his feet and sends Johnny into the kz corner. He follows him in with a forearm to the face, and makes the tag. Moose kicks Johnny in the ribs as Williams holds him, then wrings the arm and flips him to the mat. Moose locks on a chin lock and immediately slips into a choke. Barros reaches four before Moose lets go.
Moose pulls Johnny to his feet and takes him over with a suplex, then sits him in the corner. Williams drops off the apron and holds him in place as Moose backs up and hits a running knee to the face. AA protests to Barros, which of course gives Williams the chance to choke Johnny against the ropes.
AA: “Fuck! I hate being a face!”
Moose drags Johnny to his feet and sends him across the ring. Johnny drops to the mat and slides under the ropes and AA hops off the apron to join him. They wave off the match and walk up the aisle, ignoring the crowd's CSH chant. Barros starts to count, and kz pursues them up the aisle. They catch the CSH at four and, after a brief brawl, Moose drags Johnny back to the ring and stuffs him under the ropes at nine. Moose shoves Johnny into the corner and drives his shoulder into his midsection, then send him across the ring. Moose follows him in with a clothesline, then drops him with a DDT.
Meanwhile, out on the floor, Williams and AA are exchanging punches. AA goes to the eyes to put an end to that. Williams charges, but AA hits a drop toehold into the railing and Williams comes up bleeding. AA stumbles toward the ring, and Williams charges, nailing him from behind and driving his face into the apron. The commotion distracts Barros, and gives Moose the chance to rip off a turnbuckle pad. Moose grabs Johnny and slingshots him into the exposed steel, and Johnny's already at 0.6 Muta.
Barros finally separates Williams and AA and sends them to their corners. Williams climbs onto the apron just in time to drive an elbow into Johnny's face as he hits the corner. Johnny staggers back and Williams tags in. kz send Johnny to the ropes and plant him with a flapjack. Williams ties up Johnny's legs, but instead of locking on the STF, pulls Johnny's head back and starts cross facing him. AA is in with an elbow to break it up. Barros chases him out of the ring and Johnny crawls toward his corner. The crowd holds its breath as Johnny dives for the tag – and sighs audibly as Williams hooks his ankle to prevent it.
Williams takes Johnny over with a snap suplex, then drives a knee into his bloody face. He plants a knee in Johnny's back and grabs his arms, pulling them back. AA tries to come in, but Barros cuts him off, which allows Moose to slip into the ring and kick Johnny in the face. Johnny struggles to his feet, and Williams releases the hold and spins Johnny around. He tries for a Killswitch, but Johnny breaks free, drops to the mat, and nails Williams with an uppercut. Johnny rolls to his feet and Williams takes a wild swing, but Johnny ducks it, nails Williams with a mule kick, and dives to his corner to make the tag.
AA is in and levels Williams with a clothesline. Moose comes in and gets the same treatment. Bodyslam for Williams. Bodyslam for Moose. AA sends Williams to the ropes and pulls Moose into his path so that kz collie skull to skull. AA tosses Moose out of the ring. He grabs Williams and hits the Attitude Adjustment! AA makes the cover and hooks the leg. Barros counts One...Two...Thr – Williams gets a foot on the ropes.
AA leaps to his feet, incensed, and argues with Barros. Williams gets up and blindsides AA and sends him into the turnbuckle-less corner. AA grabs the ropes and stops himself, but Williams is right behind him and slams into him knees first, driving AA's face into the steel! AA hits the mat, and blood is already starting to pool under him. Williams flips AA over and starts driving punches into his face. Barros counts, and Williams stands up to argue with him, allowing Moose to enter the ring and start attacking AA himself. Barros sends Moose out of the ring, and Johnny tries to come in to help his partner, but Williams catches him with a snap power slam.
Williams tosses AA into the kz corner and makes the tag. Moose sprints across the ring and nails Johnny with the Busaiku Knee as he struggles to get up. Williams smashes AA's head into the exposed turnbuckle, then spins him around, kicks him in the stomach, and plants him with the Angel's Wings. AA bounces off the mat, and Moose levers him to his feet and levels him with a Ranhei. Moose covers, and Williams sprints across the ring and spears Johnny through the ropes as Barros counts One...Two... Three.
WINNERS, in 17:46, kz.
After the match: Johnny grabs AA's ankle and drags him out of the ring, and the CSH collapse at ringside as kz celebrate their victory. The celebration is cut short however, when Angelo Barros takes the tag team title belts and returns them to the champions. Johnny and AA clutch the belts, laughing, as they stagger up the aisle. kz, victory forgotten, stand in the ring seething as they stare holes through the champions.
MATT FOLZ vs. OUTBACK JACK – OOWF Onslaught Championship MatchWe've been "Thunderstruck" here at at OOWF in Tijuana, as Outback Jack makes his entrance for his rematch with Matt Folz. He slides into the ring to cheers, and then the music changes to "Battle Without Honor or Humanity." Matt Folz comes out to a typical heel welcome, and looks a little rough after his activities and their consequences this week. Rough, but ready to compete, as he comes to the ring, and hands the referee the Onslaught Championship Belt, after holding it up to mock Outback Jack. Jack is thrilled, and we are off.
We start off with classic professional wrestling beginning, as both men exchange various arm locks, holds, and what not. Outback Jack has Folz in the hammerlock, and Folz slaps his elbow twice, as required by wrestling law, but Outback Jack does not follow the rule and let go. Instead, he takes the opportunity to step on Folz's Achilles' tendon and drive him to the mat. He kicks Folz to the head once, twice, and then three times, then turns him over and slaps his face. He holds Folz's hair to keep his head up, and applies solid forearms, but a couple miss. By "miss," I mean that the fists hit instead, and this draws
Outback Jack's first warning from the referee. Jack steps back, and a groggy Folz tries to remember where he is. Jack steps back, sizing up his opponent who is pulling himself to a standing position in the corner. Folz turns to head to the center of the ring, and Outback Jack grabs him by the throat, for the choke slam. Folz hits the mat hard, and Outback Jack stares at him for a split second before making an early pin. That split second may have been a mistake because Folz gets a shoulder up at two. OBJ is annoyed, and glares at the referee. He pulls Folz by the hair to a seated position, and gets him in a rear arm triangle choke. If I were JR here, I'd make some comment wondering if Folz even knows where he is right now. After a bit, the referee tests Folz's free arm. It drops once, and the referee makes the sign for "One!" He doesn't get to two because apparently Folz was playing a little bit, and reaches up with a thumb right to Outback Jack's eye. OBJ immediately drops the hold and falls backward. The referee gives
Matt Folz his first warning. Folz glares at him as if he's insignificant, and stalks OBJ. OBJ stands and Folz nails him with massive (Wooo!) chops (Wooo!) until (Wooo!) he (Wooo!) gets (Wooo!) him (Wooo!) to (Wooo!) the (Wooo!) ropes (Wooo!). One more chop (Wooo!) and the referee breaks it up, charging
OBJ his first rope break. OBJ leaves the ropes to come out to meet Folz and Folz is ready with a snap suplex. He floats over and makes a pin for one and about half. Now it's Folz's turn to help OBJ up, and he hits him with Northern lights suplex. Again another two count for a pin. Folz is surprised and takes a moment to collect himself, while OBJ gets to a stand. Folz kicks him in the gut and then grabs his arm. He whips him to the ropes, and then greets the rebound with a clothesline, knocking Jack down. Now Folz runs the ropes. He jumps over OBJ, and then hits a rare Shining Wizard as Jack has gotten to his knees. He reaches down and grabs on to OBJ's ankle and pulls it up for the ankle lock. He twists and twists, and Jack gets up on his hands. The pain seems to have done exactly the opposite of what Folz wanted. OBJ stretches out for the rope, but can't quite reach. He walks slowly with his hand, taking one "step" at a time, and reaching out for the ropes each time. Folz pulls him back, but can't quite get far enough away, and the process starts over. Finally, with a huge effort, OBJ grabs the bottom rope! The referee tells Folz to let go but he refuses. Finally, the referee signals that
Outback Jack has used his second rope break and Matt Folz has used his second warning. Folz turns to protest, and Outback Jack comes from behind, limping. He hits the Boomerang! and knocks Folz down. He leaps onto Folz and gets him rolled up in a small package. The referee counts one....two....but Folz grabs the sore ankle, and uses the distraction to reverse and pin Outback Jack! Outback Jack flails his other leg madly, but it's no use. One-Two-three, and just in the nick of time.
WINNER: MATT FOLZ in 14:48.
STANK vs. ALEXANDER DARLING – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchOur OOWF Intercontinental Title Match is next on the agenda and coming out first with no music and no one to accompany him is the challenger, Alexander Darling. He keeps his head up and ignores the sounds of the crowd as he slides under the bottom rope and leans against the far corner staring down the ramp. His focus doesn’t change as Nonpoint’s “Skin” begins to play and the OOWF legend and current IC Champion Stank comes out onto the stage. Stank gets a thunderous ovation here in Tijuana, Mexico and he slaps a few fans’ hands on his way down to the ring, but for the most part his eyes are as focused as Alexander’s. Stank gets into the ring and Junior Hale calls both men to the center of the ring to go over the rules, but Alexander doesn’t leave his corner. Hale shrugs and sends Stank back to a neutral corner as he shows the belt to the crowd. The bell is rung and we’re underway here in this title match.
Stank comes out, but Alexander still hasn’t moved from his corner. Stank walks up to Alex and seems to be yelling at him to get “your head out of your ass” and fight. Darling does nothing as Stank shoves him hard in the chest and still no reaction from Alex. Stank just shakes his head and straight-up BITCHSLAPS Alexander. AD’s head snaps from left to right, but he still makes no move towards Stank, so Stank decides to slap Alex from the other side and now his head snaps from right to left and we see AD’s head rise up as a little bit of blood pours out of his mouth. Darling spits it to the side and his eyes go dark as Stank raises up for another slap, but this time Alex grabs his hand and reverses positions and begins throwing elbows at Stank.
Stank is staggered in the corner, but the big man has a lot of fight and he pushes Darling away and catches him on the return with a big boot. And now we enter a big back-and-forth of the match as Stank is using his power to try and wear down Darling, but Alex is using his technical & mat-based approach to keep Stank off his game. Stank looks to gain the advantage as he wraps Darling up from behind and spins him round to pick him up for a suplex, but Darling wiggles out of it and lands behind Stank and hits a clean HANGMAN’S NECKBEAKER.
And now AD is on the offensive as he works over Stank’s neck. He fires away with clubbing blows to the back and shoulder area while Stank fights back to his feet. Alex tries to keep the advantage but Stank is able to gain and he whips Alex towards the ropes. AD bounces off and leapfrogs over Stank, he hits the other ropes and he ducks under Stank’s attempt for a clothesline. Hits the ropes for a third time and this time he comes off with a picturesque dropkick that staggers Stank back to the ropes. Darling back to his feet and charging Stank; he hits a clothesline of his own that sends both men flying over the top rope all the way to the floor.
Both men are on their feet and it looks like Alex has the advantage and he looks to send Stank crashing into the steel post, but Stank reverses direction and he twists and turns to send Darling slamming into the steel ring steps. Stank rolls into and out of the ring to break Hale’s count and goes right back on the attack of Alex. He grabs him by the hair and slams his head hard onto the steps. Darling comes up staggering near Stank and Stank grabs him and hits a JACKHAMMER SUPLEX on the concrete floor. This time Stank grabs Alex around the neck and tosses him back into the ring. He makes a cover…

No, Darling gets his leg over the bottom rope. Stank drags him away from the ropes and goes for another cover, but Alex has recovered enough and slides his shoulder out. So Stank lifts him to his feet and lifts him in a dead lift…WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM with a WSS% of .949. He attempts another cover, but Darling is once again able to slide his shoulder out and up. Stank doesn’t stop the attack as he drags Darling up and sends him hard into the corner. Stank gets a running start and charges in, but Darling somehow has enough to be able to jump up and twist around and he gets a sunset flip on Stank…but Stank’s able to kick out at TWO.
And now both men are back to their feet and start trading shots in the center of the ring which Stank looks like he’s getting the better of and it looks like Alex realizes this as he drops low and hits a low dropkick to Stank’s knee. And now AD smells blood as he starts going to work on Stank’s knee. Stank is trying to grab hold of Darling as he slithers around the ring like a viper and keeps attacking the knee. Stank is finally able to grab hold of Darling by the hair, but Alex refuses to let go of the leg as he gets to his feet. Stank tries swinging wildly, which AD is able to duck and then Alex takes the leg and DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP. Stank goes down and the knee is in serious trouble now. Alex quickly follows up and he grabs Stank by the legs and is working to turn him over into a Boston Crab, but Stank is fighting every step of the way. He struggles all the way to the ropes and he grabs hold. Hale calls for the break and Alex lets go…shockingly. Stank is halfway under the bottom rope trying to get his bearings and he doesn’t notice Alex hitting the opposite ropes and he goes flying over the top rope and his a FLYING ELBOW DROP right on Stank that snaps his head back and Alex crashes all the way to the floor with no thought of his own body.
Both men are down as Stank has rolled to the floor as well and Hale is giving the mandatory 10-count. Darling is the first to drag himself to his feet at the 6 count. He drags a near lifeless Stank near the ring before he has to roll in and out to stop the count. He leans down to the floor to try and get Stank up once again, but it looks like Stank was playing a bit of possum there as he delivers a hard-right hand to AD’s jaw. Darling must be seeing stars and Stank drags him out of the ring and gets him on his shoulders. Stank is going for the STANK-U on the floor, but Alex is really fighting to avoid that as he has his arms locked around the bottom rope. Stank finally releases the hold and Alex relaxes for a split second and that proves to be a mistake…
SHITFACED on the floor. Alex’s head smashes hard into Stank’s knee and those in the front row heard a sickening crunch as Darling’s nose is broken for like the thousandth time here in the OOWF. And AD is gushing blood on the floor as Stank picks him up over his head and tosses him back into the ring. Stank follows him in and lifts Darling for a slam in the center of the ring. He puts Alex down and then Stank hits the ropes…STANKONIA misses as Darling is barely able to roll out of the way. AD is back to his feet and hits the ropes near Stank…SHINING WIZARD and Stank is down. Alex gets into position as he rolls Stank over. He locks the legs…
MOTHERFUCKING CURBSTOMP.
And Darling isn’t wasting time, even with the blood loss, as he hops up to the top rope…he takes a deep breath as he goes for DARK DARLING RISING…but NO…Stank gets his knees up and Darling goes bouncing away as that had to take the wind out of him. Junior Hale is giving another mandatory 10-count as both men are really feeling the effects of this one. Stank is the first one to start dragging himself up in one corner, but Alex is just a step behind in the opposite corner. Alex to his feet and he charges Stank in the corner, but Stank catches him and slams him down before he makes it into the corner. Stank shoots out of the corner and drops a big elbow on Alex. Stank stays down on the mat with Alex and looks to be trying to lock the arm into a FUJIWARA ARMBAR. He’s got it locked on and is really wrenching back. Darling has to be in massive amounts of pain here as he struggles to get to the ropes. Stank starts really leaning back and if this continues Darling’s arm is going to pop. Hale is leaning down asking Alex if he wants to quit, but AD just spits a huge amount of blood right into Hale’s eyes. That distracts Hale enough and Alex is able to take his free hand and throws a short jab right into Stank’s happy place.
Stank is writhing on the mat as Hale wipes the blood out of his eyes, but if he didn’t see it, he can’t call it. And now Darling is back to his feet and he’s waiting for Stank to get up and as soon as Stank does, Alex lifts him up onto his shoulders…he locks the hand around Stank’s throat…DARLING DRIVER connects. That should be it.
ONE…
TWO…
THRE…NOOOOOOOOO, Stank grabs the bottom rope. Darling looks shocked. He wipes the blood off his face and goes to pick Stank up, but Stank has enough experience to counter it into a small package…
ONE…
TWO…
TH…No, Alexander is able to kick out. And he looks furious as he gets back to his feet. He starts kicking away at the downed Stank, but Stank is able to sweep one of the legs and Alex crashes hard to the mat. Stank slowly gets to his feet and he throws a hard left at Darling that staggers him and then a big boot to the midsection bends Darling over. Stank doesn’t waste any time as he lifts Alex up…POWERBOMB…but Stank doesn’t let go. He holds on and lifts AD up and he hits a second POWERBOMB…He’s going for the STANKBOMB, but as lifts Darling for the third one the bell rings?!?!
Junior Hale looks around and he’s trying to figure out what’s going on…he nods to the timekeeper as he’s handed the OOWF Intercontinental Title. Stank has dropped Alexander who has rolled to the floor and is starting up at Stank as he wipes more blood away. Junior Hale hands the belt to Stank as the official announcement is made…
WINNER - 30:00 time-limit draw. Still OOWF Intercontinental Champion…STANK
Stank stares down the ramp as Alexander slowly backs up the ramp. Their eyes never leave each other. For some reason, I don’t think these two are finished with one another.
POE vs. ECOSYSTEM – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchEcosystem enters first, as here in OOWF we know that the champ comes in last. Eco gets cheers from the Mexican crowd. Poe enters next, with Selena Gomez wrapped around him, as usual. The crowd doesn't know quite how to react. They want to boo Poe, but there's Selena! They decide to go with booing Poe, and he smirks has he removes his towel and championship belt, handing them to Selena. The bell rings and they are off.
Even though Ecosystem is not small, Poe towers over him. Eco smiles, and this does not please the champion. He explodes toward Ecosystem, but Ecosystem was prepared for it. He drop toeholds Poe to the mat, places his foot on Poe's back, and pulls his arms backward. Poe is growling, but it's hard to tell if it's in pain or in rage, or some combination of both. Ecosystem is quite pleased with himself, and winks at Selena. But this causes him to take his eye off the prize, and Poe is able to roll over, and kick Eco squarely into the stomach. Eco goes flying back into the rope. Poe is up in a flash, and catches Eco as he bounces out, into a power bomb. Eco's head bounces hard on the mat. Poe could go for a cover here, but he clearly doesn't appreciate Eco's attitude, so he wants to do some more damage. He Garvin stomps Eco slowly and stiffly, and Eco convulses after each stomp. Poe circles Eco, stalking him, looking for the best place to do some damage. He grabs Eco by the ankle, and it looks like he's going to toy with him for a bit, and cinches in the ankle lock. This brings Eco around a bit, out of his daze, as he looks around to find the closest rope. He tries to crawl toward it, but Poe just twists more, and it's clear that Poe is more than willing to have Eco join him in the "Broken Ankle" club. Finally, Eco does the smart thing, and rolls the direction of the lock, and back kicks Poe right in the knee. Poe is forced to break the hold as he instinctively grabs his knee and goes down.
Once again, Poe is growling in pain and rage, and once again Eco is smiling, but it's a different smile now. He bounces off the ropes, and hits a Shining Wizard, forcing Poe over backward. He grabs Poe's head and helps him up to a foot, the other leg still pretty weak. He gets Poe in the Dragon sleeper, cranking it hard. Poe does the requisite slap of the shoulder, and stomp of the foot, that so isn't a tap, but really should be. Eco stands to hit the Endgame, but Poe pushes him off. Poe follows him backward with punches and forearms, into the corner. Eco's hands are up trying to defend himself, and the referee starts the count. Poe breaks off at four and a half. Eco pushes the referee out of the way and lunges at Poe, right into a huge chop that sends him flying backward (Wooooo!). Eco hits the ring post hard. He's stunned, and Poe grabs his arm, whipping him across the ring into the other ring post. Poe follows and Eco tries to counter with an elbow, but Poe sees it. He grabs the elbow and turns it into an arm drag. He plants a foot on Eco's shoulder and yanks up on the arm, trying to dislocate the shoulder. He looks like he's going to succeed when his foot slips just enough to let Eco start his power up. He gets standing, applies the elbows to Poe's midsection, and pushes him off. He hits the ropes, and flies toward Poe with a high missile drop kick right to the chest. Poe has the wind knocked out of him, and staggers trying to catch his breath. Eco gets up, sees the opportunity, and goes for it again. But Poe isn't completely out of it, and as Eco flies toward him, Poe ducks, taking the top rope with him, sending Eco sailing out feet first. Poe follows Eco out, but Eco recovers and is able to "lead" Poe face first into the ring post. Poe staggers back, a small cut seen on his forehead. Eco grabs Poe, and leg sweeps him again, only this time Poe falls backward, his head hitting the steel steps. Selena screams, as Eco plans his next move, and Poe struggles to try to stand. The referee starts the ten count. Eco and Poe stand and exchange hockey punches, and Eco is getting the better of him, as he moves Poe back toward the guard rail. Finally, he hits a short-armed clothesline that knocks Poe over the guard rail into the crowd. The fans move back, and Eco goes to the apron, and then dives right at Poe who's only barely standing. They knock back a few more rows of fans, and gradually both men get up and begin to continue the brawl in the aisles. OOWF security comes running down the ramp for the safety of the fans, and the referee has no choice but to stop the ten-count and call for the bell.
