Live! From Bedlam Corner, Connecticut
HONCHO WILLIAMS vs. OUTBACK JACKHoncho is announced and makes his way to the ring with CC Scott, his “manager” Attitude Adjuster, and the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline. They all assemble and AA gives Honcho some last minute instructions, then checks with Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline, CC#HCJA approves and Honcho climbs into the ring. Outback Jack is announced next and makes his way to the ring, he stares down Honcho’s Posse, then just shakes his head and climbs into the ring. The bell rings, and we get ten minutes of solid wrestling action. The turning point comes when Jack hits Honcho with the BOOMERANG! Honcho is down, but before he can go for the pin, AA sets Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline is on the apron holding the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Title like he is going to hit Jack. The referee sees it, and immediately sends Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline, Attitude Adjuster and CC Scott to the back! AA has a fit, Ric Flair style, then has to hold Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline back from going after the referee. Jack waves to them from the ropes, and starts the NA NA NA NA HEY HEY HEY GOOOOOODBYE chant. Jack probably should have been paying a little more attention to Honcho though, he turns around and gets PASTED by the THUNDERBOLT! Honcho falls on Jack and gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNER in 13:14 – Honcho Williams
After the match Honcho helps Jack to his feet, the two share a handshake and Jack raises Honcho’s arm in victory, which gets a huge pop from the crowd.
ATTITUDE ADJUSTER vs. FIRECHILDAttitude Adjuster is back out, along with his manager, the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion, Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline. When was the last time a manager had a manager? The bell rings, and the action begins. Firechild takes control early in the match and is able to reverse everything AA attempts. AA tries a clothesline, but Firechild snaps him to the mat with an arm bar. AA scoots to the ropes and manages to get his foot on the bottom rope to force the break, then bails out of the ring and storms around ringside before having a conference with his manager. AA calms down then slides back into the ring and actually has a WRESTLING match with Firechild. AA shows more wrestling skill in this match than he has in the last year. He even nails Firechild with a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX for a two count! Somewhere Tully Blanchard is smiling. AA takes control and works Firechild’s legs to keep the high flyer grounded. AA even breaks out the figure four, and tries to get help from Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline on the outside, but to no avail. Firechild reverses the move and AA breaks the hold. They both get to their feet and AA calls for the CLAW but FC ducks and sweeps AA’s feet, sending him to the mat, Firechild pops back up and BLASTS AA with a SHINING WIZARD as AA gets to his knees, then pulls him up and hits the WINGS OF PHOENIX for the one, two three!
WINNER in 15:43 – Firechild
TEXPRESS vs. MATT FOLZ & JP SPARXXThe New Guard are out first, and are nearly booed out of the building. Folz appears to be wearing a larger, very padded boot thanks to Davin Moreland’s sneak attack. They climb into the ring and Folz heads right for the corner. Texpress are announced next, and the crowd roars their approval. Texpress is announced next and they get a huge ovation from the fans. They get to the ring and Zane starts things off, Sparxx attacks him before the bell rings and tries for several quick pins, but Zane kicks out each time. Sparxx tries to carry the bulk of the match, but the Texans experience proves to be too much and they wear Sparxx down and keep him isolated in their corner. Sparxx takes everything the Texans throw at him, but to his credit they can’t keep him down. Chad pulls Sparxx up and sets him on the top rope and tries a HURRACARANA but Sparxx holds on and Chad crashes to the mat. Sparxx NAILS him with a missile drop kick, then crawls to his corner and makes the desperation tag to Folz while Chad tags in Zane. Folz gets some offense in, then Zane nails him with a low dropkick to the ankle, then grabs him and traps him in an ANKLE LOCK! Folz howls in pain, but won’t tap. Sparxx starts into the ring, drawing Chad in, the referee moves to get Chad out of the ring, and Sparxx yells for Jewell to throw him his title, she does, and he BLASTS Zane upside the head! Sparxx drags Folz to cover Zane, then ditches the title and leaves the ring. The referee never saw a thing and makes the three count, just before Chad makes the save.
WINNERS in 16:44 – Matt Folz & JP Sparxx
After the match Sparxx helps Folz to the back while Chad remains in the middle of the ring, LIVID. He tries to convince the referee of what happened, but the referee’s decision is final.
FIREWOMAN vs. ECOSYSTEMFire storms to the ring and attacks Eco with a furious barrage of chops and punches. Eco fights back and soon the action spills out of the ring, which does nothing to stop either of them, they brawl around ringside, and soon both are bleeding badly. Eco gets the better of the exchange and rolls Fire into the ring and covers, but Fire kicks out at two. Eco climbs to the top rope for a drop kick, but Fire gets to her feet and catches him with a SICK kick to the jaw as he comes down sending him slamming into the referee. Eco and the referee may be out cold, but Fire cannot capitalize. Ghosthead makes his way to the ring, doesn’t say a word, but takes a seat at ringside. Fire climbs to the middle turnbuckle and the two engage in an epic staredown. While Fire is looking at Ghosthead, Moose slides into the ring, grabs Fire off the turnbuckle and hits the GO TO SLEEP FOREVER! Firewoman is OUT! Moose drags Eco over to Fire and drapes his arm across her chest, then drags the referee over to the pile of bodies. The referee makes a lethargic three count as Moose leaves the ring and catches Alexander Darling on his way to the ring to stop the attack. Moose and Alex brawl all over the ringside area, but the end result is the same.
WINNER in 12:51 – Ecosystem
RICKY SOARING EAGLE vs. MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. PSYKLE vs. ALEXANDER DARLINGMedics help Fire to the back, she is woozy and holding the back of her head. Alex tries to break away from his war with Moose and help her, but Moose catches him with a punch to the mouth and their brawl continues. The referee motions for Ricky Soaring Eagle and Psykle to come to the ring. They do and the bell rings. Neither Alex nor Moose seem to notice it in the least though, and they continue fighting to the back. Curiously, Ghosthead remains in his seat at ringside. Psykle and Soaring Eagle lock up and have your typical big man power match. Soaring Eagle keeps his anger under control and is able to ground Psykle with several power moves. Moose and Darling are nowhere to be found, they have probably brawled somewhere into New York state by now. Soaring Eagle traps Psykle in the CACTUS THORN. The referee asks Psykle several times if he wants to quit, and at one point it sounds like Psykle says yea…..NO! Well, evidently Soaring Eagle took that as a yes and released the hold and celebrated. The referee tells him that it was NOT a submission, and Soaring Eagle loses it. He grabs the referee by the throat and backs him into the corner threatening to snap his head like a pimple. Psykle grabs Soaring Eagle from behind and rolls him up and gets the one, two, THREE! Psykle and the referee bail out of the ring quickly because Soaring Eagle is LIVID!
WINNER in 16:11 – Psykle
GHOSTHEAD vs. RABBIT MASKGhosthead gets up from his seat and steps through the ropes into the ring and stands silently in the corner. Rabbit Mask is announced and sprints to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. The bell rings and we are underway! Rabbit scores some shots early with stick and move offense, trying to stay away from the more powerful Ghosthead. He takes the big man off his feet and starts working the arm and shoulder trying for a submission, but Ghosthead fights back to his feet and sends Rabbit to the ropes, RM holds on, but Ghosthead charges in and catches him with a big boot to the jaw that sends him to the floor. Ghosthead gets a head of steam and dives over the top rope Undertaker style and hits a perfect plancha, killing Rabbit. Ghosthead rolls him into the ring and takes over, keeping Rabbit grounded with mat offense, wearing his smaller opponent down. After a few minutes of this, Firewoman wanders back to ringside, still a little woozy from the go to sleep forever. She doesn’t say anything, she just stands on the ramp and glares at Ghosthead. Ghosthead must be able to feel the stare on the back of his head because he turns around and stares back at Fire. Rabbit gets to his feet and tries to attack from behind, but Ghost spins around and grabs him by the throat and lifts him for a chokeslam, but Rabbit turns it into a DDT and PLANTS Ghosthead, then rolls through and traps him in a DRAGON SLEEPER! Ghosthead struggles to make it to the ropes, but he can’t reach them, Rabbit clamps down even harder and Ghosthead has no choice but to tap out.
WINNER in 17:03 – Rabbit Mask
FLYIN HAWAIIANS vs. LD WILLIAMS & STANK vs. DANNY TAYLOR & EL LOBO SANGRIENTO – Non Title MatchAll three teams are in the ring, Danny just glares at the Hawaiians, they smirk and ignore him. The match begins with three men in the ring at a time. You can tag in anyone you want, except your partner. The match goes on for about ten minutes, no one can get more than a one count on anyone else. The Hawaiians have busted Danny open, which only infuriates him more. He nails Kai with a DYNAMITE DROP but can’t cover because Stank breaks it up and clotheslines Danny over the top rope to the floor. As Danny is recovering, Chris Evans walks part way down the ramp and taunts Taylor. Danny gets his bearings and tears off after Evans. Inside the ring Lobo has LD trapped in a Boston crab trying for the submission, but Stank breaks it up. Aina pulls Lobo out of the ring and they brawl around ringside. Stank pulls Kai to his feet and sends him to the ropes, LD kicks him in the gut then hits the CANADIAN DESTROYER! LD covers as Stank and Lobo keep Aina from climbing back into the ring and LD gets the three count and something of an upset win.
WINNERS in 20:11 – Stank & LD Williams
STAN FULTON vs. COMRADE SHARKOFF – Non Title Chain MatchBoth men are out, both men are booed loudly. The chains are strapped to one another’s wrists and the bell rings. This is a four corners chain match, so the winner has to touch all four corners in succession to get the win. Sharkoff tears into Fulton, hammering him with punches with the chain wrapped around his fist, backing him into the corner. Sharkoff climbs to the middle rope and hammers Fulton, and soon the world champion is bleeding profusely, which only serves to annoy him. Fulton shoves Sharkoff to the mat, and when the Mad Russian gets to his feet, Fulton charges out of the corner and nearly decapitates Sharkoff with a clothesline. Fulton stands over Sharkoff glaring at him. Stan decides to take a different approach to busting Sharkoff open, he wraps the chain around Sharkoff’s head, then stomps the shit out of his head. Sharkoff is a bloody mess from numerous gashes. The match rolls on with neither man able to touch more than two turnbuckles in a row. Both men are moving slowly because of blood loss, Fulton charges at Sharkoff, but Sharkoff moves and low bridges him, sending the champion over the top rope to the floor. Sharkoff loops the chain around Stan’s throat and begins choking him out! Sharkoff drags Fulton around the ring, choking him all the while. Stan tries to get a footing to get on the apron, but he can’t. Sharkoff touches three turnbuckles and is headed for the fourth when Chris Evans, Kai, Aina, Matt Folz and JP Sparxx start toward the ring. They don’t make it far before Danny Taylor, El Lobo Sangriento, Outback Jack, Chad Madison and Zane Myers come through the crowd with weapons. They cut the New Guard off before they can attack, and Sharkoff slaps the final turnbuckle and gets the HUGE upset win!
WINNER in 17:16 – Comrade Sharkoff
CHRIS EVANS vs. MAI MUYO vs. DAVIN MORELAND – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchAll three are in the ring, though you wouldn’t know Mai was there, Davin and Evans pay little attention to her and stare daggers into one another. The bell rings and Mai takes advantage of that and gets several quick two counts on both men. They finally realize this is a three way dance and Davin nearly kills Mai with a clothesline, he covers Mai, but Evans breaks it up at one and Davin and Evans get into it again. Mai regains her senses and waits, Evans snaps Davin’s head off the top rope, and as he staggers backward, Mai nails Davin with an impressive bridging German suplex for a two count. Evans comes back in and grabs Mai and pulls her to her feet, but she nails him with a leaping knee to the jaw, then nearly takes his head off with a spinning heel kick. Mai goes to the top rope and tries a moonsault, but Davin gets in the way and catches her, then DRIVES her to the mat with a side slam for another two count. The match continues on this way for the next thirty minutes, none can keep the other down, but Mai shows a lot being able to hang with the much larger Davin and the more experienced Evans. Mai heads to the top rope again, but Evans shoves her off the top and she slams into the barricade ribs first and collapses to the floor. Evans turns around and Davin charges at him, but Evans takes him down with a drop toe hold that hangs him up on the ropes. Evans moves toward Davin, then sees Matt Folz hop the barricade, Evans grabs the referee and distracts him while Folz hops onto the apron, runs down the apron and KICKS Davin right on the side of the head with that protective boot! Davin falls off the ropes, out COLD! Evans grabs him and pulls him to the middle of the ring and the three count is academic! What the hell was IN that boot?
WINNER in 33:45 – Chris Evans
