OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From RFK Stadium, Washington DC
COMRADE SHARKOFF vs. OUTBACK JACKSharkoff is out first, waving the Russian flag and drawing the boos of the crowd. Sharkoff is in a particularly bad mood given that the show is in the Nation’s capital tonight. Jack is announced and makes his way to the ring slapping hands with the fans. The bell rings and this one is ready to go! Sharkoff tries to attack, but Jack avoids it and peppers Sharkoff with rights and lefts, then sends him to the ropes and connects with a drop kick that sends Sharkoff over the top rope to the floor. Sharkoff storms around ringside, Jack grabs him from the insides and suplexes him over the ropes into the ring. Jack maintains the offensive for a few minutes, but then Sharkoff takes over when Jack goes for a BOOMERANG but Sharkoff ducks it and catches a rebounding Jack with a RUSSIAN SICKLE! Sharkoff covers, but Jack kicks out at two. Sharkoff takes control and gets several near falls, he even bloodies Jack with a vicious elbow to the forehead, but that only fuels Jacks comeback. He pummels Sharkoff then dumps him over the top rope to the floor. When Jack tries to bring him back in, Sharkoff grabs his chain and BLASTS Jack in the face with it! The referee never sees a thing! Jack is prone in the middle of the ring, Sharkoff climbs the turnbuckle and hits a FLYING KNEEDROP right across Jack’s chest! He covers and gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNER in 9:24 – Comrade Sharkoff
PSYKLE vs. MAI MUYO – Onslaught RulesPsykle and Mai both make their way to the ring. The two of them shake hands, and the size difference between the two of them is obvious. The referee calls for the bell and Mai moves to lock up, but she dart behind Psykle and peppers his hamstrings with kicks trying to get the big man off his feet. Mai strikes fast as lightning keeping Psykle off balance and also staying away from his power. She finally drops him to one knee, then sends him to the mat with a SHINING WIZARD! Mai doesn’t even try to cover, instead she attempts to work some MMA magic on Psykle trying for a submission. Psykle gets to his feet and lifts Mai into the air, Mai holds on like a little spider monkey. Just when it looks like Psykle is going to drive her to the mat, Mai locks on a keylock and Psykle drops to one knee grimacing in pain. He makes it to the ropes forcing the break, and probably saving his arm.
Psykle has used his first rope break. The match continues, Mai does all she can to keep Psykle down, but eventually the big man gets the upper hand. He batters Mai with power moves, but can’t keep her down for the three count. Finally he lifts her for a powerbomb, but Mai traps him in a TRIANGLE CHOKE! Psykle staggers around the ring, it looks like he is in real trouble! Psykle regains his composure just long enough to POWERBOMB Mai to the mat, but she does not let go! Psykle hits a second powerbomb, then a third, and finally on the fourth, Mai releases the hold and Psykle falls on her, folds her up, and gets the one, two, three.
WINNER in 13:58 – Psykle
After the match, Psykle helps Mai to her feet and they share a handshake, and Mai raises Psykle’s hand in victory. The crowd eats it up.
ZANE MYERS vs. ATTITUDE ADJUSTERAA is out first with the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline. They huddle in the corner where AA gets some last minute instructions while Zane Myers is announced and makes his way to the ring with Chad Madison. The bell rings and AA attacks Zane from behind beating him to the mat. AA proclaims the match over, but Zane appears to take exception with that and nearly decapitates AA with a clothesline. He sends AA to the ropes and lifts him in the air in a military press, carries him for a moment, then drops him to the mat face first. AA bails out of the ring and crawls over to DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline and tries to call a time out, but Zane leaves the ring and grabs AA and sends him back under the bottom rope. Zane dominates AA, but to his credit AA fights back and we get something resembling a back and forth match. Both men get several near falls as the match passes fifteen minutes. Things break down a little though, Zane gets several high impact moves in, and hits a top rope belly to belly suplex that sends AA across the ring. AA reaches out and grabs DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline’s DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Title and waits for Zane to turn around, AA charges, but Zane sees him coming and backdrops AA to the mat. Chad yells at the referee to get the title out of the ring, while they are arguing, AA hits a low blow on Zane, then PILEDRIVES him on the title! AA kicks the title out of the ring, and covers Zane, the referee turns around to look for the title, sees the pin, hits the mat and counts to three. What an upset!
WINNER in 16:16 – Attitude Adjuster
AA celebrates like he just won the Superbowl, then sees Chad coming for him, grabs the title and DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion Cardboard Cutout #Heel Cowboy Johnny Adrenaline and heads to the back.
MATT FOLZ & CHRIS EVANS vs. EL LOBO SANGRIENTO & DANNY TAYLORFolz and Evans are out first and taunt the crowd, the crowd responds by littering the ring with debris. Before a full scale riot breaks out, Lobo and Danny are announced and make their way to the ring. Danny and Lobo storm the ring, hell bent on revenge for what the New Guard did to the Destroyitarium. Danny goes after Evans, but Evans bails and Folz cuts Danny off with a right cross to the jaw. Lobo catches Evans on the outside, and the two of them wail on one another. Inside the ring, Folz beats Danny to the mat, but Taylor shows his resolve and fights back and lifts Folz and DRIVES him to the mat with a pump handle suplex. On the outside, Evans has Lobo down on his knees and is repeatedly kicking him in the face leaving a bright bloody spot on Lobo’s mask. Lobo slumps against the guard rail and Evans slides back into the ring, spins Danny around and POPS him with a SUPERKICK! Danny staggers back into the corner and falls to the mat. Evans lands several kicks to Danny’s chest, but as soon as Danny starts to hulk up, Evans turns and runs and dives over the top rope at Lobo, who is now back on his feet. Bad move. Lobo catches Evans and SPINEBUSTERS him onto the ramp! Folz sees his partner in trouble and bails out of the ring, grabs a chair and heads for Lobo. Danny slips out the other side of the ring and stops Folz from using the chair. The four men brawl up the ramp, the referee has no choice but to throw the match out.
WINNNER – No Contest in 10:34
CHAD MADISON vs. GHOSTHEADChad is out first to the delight of the crowd. He is accompanied by Zane, who remains at ringside. Chad stands on the middle rope and yells for Ghosthead to get down to the ring. Ghosthead makes his way to the ring and steps between the ropes. The bell rings and Chad goes on the attack. They lock up but Chad grabs an arm wringer and catches Ghost with a crescent kick across the chest. He wrings the arm again and runs to the corner and scales the turnbuckle, then leaps on Ghost and takes him to the mat with a hurracarana. For nearly ten minutes, the two counter one another’s moves and hit high risk moves. Ghosthead keeps in step with Chad the whole time and nearly gets the win when Chad whips him to the corner, Ghost leaps to the top rope, then hits a charging Chad with a flying clothesline. The fans don’t particularly like Ghosthead, but they applaud his effort in this match. Ghost lifts Chad for a suplex, but Chad fights out of it and lands on his feet, spins Ghost around and catches him on the jaw with a SUPERKICK! Chad heads to the corner and climbs the ropes, waits for Ghost to stand up and hits a MISSILE DROPKICK! Chad is not done though, he heads to the opposite corner and climbs the ropes again and this time tries a leg drop, but Ghost rolls out of the way and Chad gets nothing but mat. Ghost gets to his feet and pulls a stunned Chad up and sends him to the ropes and PLANTS him with a belly to belly suplex, then hurries to the top rope and hits the SPECTRE’S FALL! Ghost hooks the leg and gets the one, two, three, Chad kicks out just a fraction of a second too late.
WINNER in 17:09 – Ghosthead
LD WILLIAMS, STANK & DAVIN MORELAND vs. THE FLYIN HAWAIIANS & JP SPARXXThe world tag team champion Flyin Hawaiians and the onslaught champ JP Sparxx are announced first and make their way to the ring. Once again the fans shower them with garbage and boo them out of the building. Stank, LD and Davin are out next, and they receive a huge ovation from the DC crowd. The Hawaiians and Sparxx attack as soon as they get into the ring, but the three OOWF veterans turn the tables and send the New Guard packing out of the ring. The three of them regroup and climb back onto the apron. Sparxx calls out Davin, and Davin steps up and the two of them lock up. Sparxx tries to work Davin to the corner but Davin reverses it, pins Sparxx in the corner and lights him up with chops. Sparxx fires back, backing Davin across the ring, then sweeping his legs and sending him to the mat. Sparxx tries a standing senton, but Davin gets his knees up and Sparxx crashes and burns. From here we have a text book six man tag match, lots of tags between both teams, The Hawaiians and Sparxx use some underhand tactics to gain the advantage, while LD, Stank and Davin fight back valiantly to regain the advantage. LD catches Aina with a CANADIAN DESTROYER but can’t get the pin because Sparxx breaks it up and hits the INSTANT REPLAY! Before anyone can do anything, Stank grabs Sparxx and hits the STANK-U! Kai and Aina come in and hit the BUTTERFLY EFFECT on Stank, but Davin drops Aina with a REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER! Before Davin knows what hit him, Kai goozles him and PLANTS him with a HILO DRIVER (sit out choke slam) Sparxx crawls over and covers Davin, but he is not the legal man so there is no count. The match regains some order and continues on. The end comes after over thirty minutes when the match breaks down and LD, Stank and Sparxx are fighting on the floor. Davin grabs Aina for another REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER, but he shoves Davin to the ropes, as he rebounds, Aina elevates him and Kai leaps from the top rope MOLOKAI COCKTAIL! Kai covers, and gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNERS in 36:04 – The Flyin Hawaiians & JP Sparxx
After the match, Kai continues to put the boots to Davin while Aina leaves the ring and grabs a chair and SLAMS it on the back of Stank’s head dropping him to the floor. Aina shoves Stank back into the ring while Sparxx rakes Williams’ eyes and rams him face first into the ring post. Sparxx throws a bloody Williams into the ring. The New Guard put one hellacious beating on Stank, Davin and LD finishing it off by putting chairs under all of them, Kai and Aina hit splashes on Stank and Davin while Sparxx hits DA BOMB on LD. They stand victorious over the three when Danny, Lobo, Jack and Texpress finally make it to the ring and make the save chasing the New Guard off, but the damage has been done.
PHOENIX RISING vs. THE SAINTS OF SINNERSThe newly, or at least officially, formed Phoenix Rising are announced and Fire and Alex make their way to the ring to the cheers of the crowd. The Saints of Sinners are announced next and Moose and Eco storm to the ring and attack Fire and Alex. Eco and Firewoman square off and tumble between the ropes to the floor, while Moose and Alex circle one another in the middle of the ring, both of them with a look of pure hate on their faces. They go at it, throwing punches and clawing at one another. On the outside, Eco catches a charging Fire with a drop toe hold and is about to steal her move and FIRESTOMP her into the concrete when a bevy of officials and security race to the ring and force him to break the hold and get on the apron. Both Fire and Eco reluctantly agree, and the rest of the match looks like a lumberjack match because the officials and security remain around the ring. Inside the ring, Alex has Moose on the mat driving knees into the side of his head, but Moose fights back to his feet and kicks Alex in the gut and is about to try a DDT, but Alex powers Moose back into the corner and tags in Fire. Moose escapes the corner and he and Fire glare at one another. They lock up and Moose rocks Fire with a European uppercut, then grabs her by the hair and throws her into the Saints corner and tags in Eco. Eco hammers Fire, but she quickly regains her composure and fights back. The match goes back and forth a bit, but there is simply too much hatred in this ring. The match breaks down and all four are on the outside fighting amid the security and officials. Alex gets rolled back into the ring and looks and sees Moose reaching for the scalpel in his boot to cut Fire. He heads toward Moose, but Eco rolls into the ring, grabs him from behind and hits the ENDGAME! Eco rolls Alex up and the ref hits the mat and makes the three count while an outside official grabs the scalpel from Moose. Fire attacks Moose again and they spill into the audience.
WINNERS in 12:11 – The Saints of Sinners
Eco and Alex both leave the ring and join the fight, the officials and security cannot stop the four of them and soon we have riot police out there. THAT doesn’t stop them either. It takes pepper spray to get the four of them subdued enough to pull them away from one another and the fans. Only, not quite, the four of them, half blinded by the pepper spray are still fighting off police, security and officials. Firewoman is in a rage, screaming about who sprayed her. Moose shuts her up for a moment with a lucky right cross, but Fire lashes out and catches him with a kick to the ribs. Finally, the tasers come out. Eco and Alex are each tasered once, they fall to the ground in pain and appear to FINALLY be subdued. Moose and Fire and not quite so eager to stop. Moose gets tasered a second time and relents, Fire takes a second tasering and is trying to get to her feet for more when Lucky finally steps in and calms her down enough to be taken to the back with the others. Regardless of the potential danger, the fans love it. Good thing too, because not a thing was settled tonight.
FIRECHILD vs. RABBIT MASK vs. HONCHO WILLIAMS – Onslaught Rules MatchAll three are announced and come to the ring. Rabbit Mask has supposedly been cleared for action in this match, but he still doesn’t look 100%. All three shake hands, the bell rings and we are underway. Firechild tries to throw a quick superkick at Honcho, but he ducks and rolls Firechild up for a two count. Rabbit breaks it up and grabs Honcho from behind and hits a bridging German suplex for a two count that is broken up by Firechild. Firechild and Rabbit pulls Honcho to his feet and hit a double BRAINBUSTER and Rabbit tries to float over for the cover, but Firechild pulls Rabbit up and scoops him up and runs him into the corner and ties him in the tree of woe! Firechild moves back to the middle of the ring and tries a hanging drop kick, but Rabbit sits up and Firechild crotches himself on the ring post. Rabbit stands on the top rope and hits a WARRIOR STOMP on Firechild, then charges across the ring at Honcho who has just stood up, leaps in the air and tries a HURRACARANA but Honcho PLANTS him on the mat with a POWERBOMB for a two count. The match continues on, being that it is three men in the match no one uses their rope breaks, and the match stays clean so there are also no referee warnings. All three men get several near falls. Rabbit doesn’t look 100%, but he also doesn’t look as bad as last week. The end comes when Rabbit heads to the top rope. Firechild darts to the corner and scales the ropes and tries to superplex Rabbit, but he slams Firechild with several headbutts sending him to the mat. Firechild springs to his feet and Rabbit leaps off the top rope over Firechild, as he lands, Honcho POPS him with the THUNDERBOLT! Honcho grabs Firechild and shoots him out of the ring then falls on Rabbit for the one, two, THREE!
WINNER in 18:21 – Honcho Williams
After the match, Honcho helps Rabbit to his feet and the three men exchange handshakes of mutual respect, then Rabbit and Firechild raise Honcho’s hand in victory, though Firechild seems less than thrilled about it.
STAN FULTON vs. RICKY SOARING EAGLE – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchRicky Soaring Eagle is out first and Psykle comes out with him. They don’t say a word to one another, Soaring Eagle steps into the ring while Psykle takes a seat at ringside to watch the match. The OOWF World Heavyweight Champion Stan Fulton is announced, and like the rest of the New Guard before him, the fans nearly boo him out of the building. Crusher ignores them steps between the ropes and lays his title down on the mat and dares Soaring Eagle to come take it. Soaring Eagle just glares at him, but doesn’t move out of the corner. The referee picks up the title and calls for the bell, this one is underway! The two big men lock up and Soaring Eagle pushes Fulton back to the corner, the referee calls for a clean break and Soaring Eagle gives it, but Fulton nails him with a right to the jaw. You can see Soaring Eagle’s temper flare, but he manages to reign it in and they lock up again. The match continues on, Soaring Eagle gets the early advantage, but Fulton comes back and uses his size advantage to wear the challenger down working Soaring Eagle’s ribs, and nearly getting a three arm drop submission from a bear hug. Fulton nearly gets the win with a thunderous belly to belly suplex, but Soaring Eagle kicks out at two. Soaring Eagle fights back and shows his impressive power by hitting the RETURN TO EARTH! The fans stand anticipating a new champion, but Fulton manages to roll his shoulder at two. Soaring Eagle shows his frustration, but keeps himself composed and turns Fulton over into the CACTUS THORN! Fulton looks like he is about to tap, but he reaches out and grabs the bottom rope. This time Soaring Eagle lets his frustration get the better of him and he argues with the referee that Fulton had indeed quit. Soaring Eagle backs the referee into the corner letting Fulton get back to his feet Fulton charges into the corner, the referee sees him coming and manages to get out of the way, Soaring Eagle, however, is not so lucky and he gets CRUSHED with an AVALANCHE! Soaring Eagle staggers out of the corner, Fulton nearly decapitates him with a clubbing clothesline, then hits the ropes and drops the DROPLINE! Fulton covers and gets the one, two, three!
WINNER in 22:49 – Stan Fulton
Fulton leaves the ring and grabs his title and heads to the back, ignoring the boos of the crowd. Inside the ring, Soaring Eagle looks like he is on the verge of a meltdown. Psykle steps into the ring and says something to Ricky, and he calms down slightly and they leave the ring as we fade to black.
