OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Atlanta, Georgia
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. COMRADE SHARKOFF vs. STANK – OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Title Fans Bring the Weapons MatchStank heads to the ring collecting weapons as he goes. Sharkoff comes out next, and gets a few weapons, but the fans mostly just boo him. Finally Moose is out, and no one gives him anything. Moose snarls at the fans and rolls into the ring, where he gets pummeled by repeated shots from Stank and Sharkoff. They pinball him, until Stank clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Sharkoff attacks Stank and the two of them brawl. Stank goes for a STANK-U but Sharkoff slips off his shoulders and hits a low blow, then nearly KO’s Stank with a chair shot to the face. The referee starts the count, but Moose comes in and stops it by attacking Sharkoff from behind. Moose has produced his own weapons from under the ring. Sharkoff gets the advantage for a moment and Stank joins him in beating on Moose, then Stank lays out Sharkoff with a THUNDEROUS head butt. Stank calls for weapons, and we get an old school ECW moment as the fans litter the ring with weapons. Stank uses the weapons to bust Sharkoff and Moose open, but Sharkoff and Moose get their shots in too, and it’s not long before all three are down and bleeding badly. The referee starts his count, but all three men make it to their feet before the ten count. Stank charges at Moose, but Moose ducks and catches him with a spinning fist to the temple that sends Stank back into Sharkoff knocking him into the corner. Stank steps on a foreign object and twists his knee awkwardly and falls into the corner grabbing his knee in pain. Moose stares at Stank, then Sharkoff. He reaches into his shorts and pulls out a STEEL SPIKE! Oh hell no. Moose walks toward Stank, who is down in the corner grabbing his knee in pain. It appears that Moose is listening to someone, and he raises the spike. Stank smirks and yells DO IT! Just when it looks like Moose is going to slam it into Stank’s skull, he turns and REPEATEDLY JABS IT INTO SHARKOFF’S HEAD AS HE STUMBLES OUT OF THE CORNER! Blood sickeningly spurts everywhere and Sharkoff falls to the mat howling in pain. Moose quickly locks Sharkoff in the JI-ENDO and the referee has no choice but to stop the match when Sharkoff doesn’t respond. The whole time, Moose is just staring blankly into space.
WINNER in 17:47 – Moosehead Jack
PSYKLE vs. JP SPARXXSparxx is accompanied by Chris Evans. Psykle comes out with Danny Taylor, which sends Evans into fits of rage. Sparxx attacks before the bell and gets an early advantage. Psykle wanted this match to be fought under Onslaught rules, but Sparxx would not agree to it. Sparxx uses everything at his disposal to keep the big man on the mat, and for a moment it looks like he might get the quick win. Sparxx gets several two counts, but then gets a little cocky. Sparxx heads to the top rope and waits for Psykle to get to his feet, then tries a hurracarana, but Psykle catches him and KILLS him with a BUCKLE BOMB! As Sparxx staggers out of the corner, Psykle grabs him by the throat and hits a thunderous CHOKESLAM! Sparxx bails out of the ring and huddles with Evans, Psykle disrupts their meeting of the minds with a tope con hilo! A big man should not be able to do that! Sparxx and Evans may well be DEAD! Psykle rolls Sparxx back into the ring and covers, but Evans reaches in and puts Sparxx leg on the bottom rope. Danny complains, which allows Evans to come into the ring and BLAST Psykle from behind with a pair of brass knuckles! He puts Sparxx on top of Psykle and the referee turns back around, one….two…..NO! Psykle kicks out! Evans is LIVID! Psykle slowly gets to his feet and swings wildly at Sparxx, who ducks and slips behind Psykle and rolls him up, and puts his feet on the ropes, but after a two count, Psykle grabs him in a GUILLOTINE CHOKE! Psykle scoots more toward the middle of the ring so Sparxx can’t reach the ropes. Evans tries to interfere, but Danny comes around and pulls him off the apron and Evans hightails it away. Inside the ring, Sparxx has no choice but to tap out.
WINNER in 15:14 – Psykle
TEXPRESS vs. THE FLYIN HAWAIIANS – Texas Tornado Honolulu Street FightWhat are the odds that this one gets completely out of control? If you said 100% you win the gold star for the day. Texpress and the Hawaiians make it to the ring, barely, before they tear into one another and the fight spills out of the ring. The Texans hit some slick double team moves on the outside, but it is almost completely a brawl. The Kai nails Chad with a ROCK BOTTOM through a table, but Zane catches him with a superkick to the jaw that sends him into the crowd. Aina grabs Zane from behind and slams him in the face with a head butt that busts him open. The Kai gets to his feet, but Chad leaps over the guard rail and tackles him into the crowd. The fans chant for the Texans and they take the fight to Kai and Aina. The brawl eventually finds its way back into the ring where Texpress set up for a DOOMSDAY DEVICE, which brings out the New Guard. The New Guard beat Chad and Zane down to the mat, but their advantage does not last long before Psykle, Danny, Lobo, LD, Fire and Alex make their way to the ring and even the odds. The fourteen brawl around the ring and an army of referees come out to try and restore order, but you might as well try to tell water to stop being wet. Security is called and they flood the ring, but mostly get lost in the brawl. The crowd is eating this up and finally police are called in, and they manage to get all the participants pulled apart and get the New Guard sent to the back. This match never had a chance.
WINNERS – No Contest in 18:11
EL LOBO SANGRIENTO vs. STAN FULTONFulton comes back out and Lobo remains in the ring. They pick up the brawl where the two groups left off and simply beat the hell out of one another in the middle of the ring. The referee actually gives them a whole lot of leeway, maybe because he really has no interest in getting between the two big men. Lobo reverses a Fulton whip and catches him with a POWERSLAM! Holy Shit! Lobo covers, but only gets a two count. Lobo tries to lock on the THREE WOLF MOON, but Fulton gets to the bottom rope. Lobo releases the hold and Fulton slides out of the ring, but Lobo goes right after him and they fight around ringside. Lobo looks like he is going to try for a piledriver, but Fulton reverses it and sends Lobo through the Iranian Announce Table. Fulton sends Lobo back into the ring and tries for a submission of his own with a CAMEL CLUTCH! Lobo howls in pain but refuses to give up, eventually powering out of it and dumping Fulton to the mat. Lobo gets to his feet and blocks several punches from Fulton and rocks him back on his heels, sends him to the ropes and hits a SAMOAN DROP! Lobo calls for the end, but Mai comes down to the ring and Lobo focuses on her for a moment, which allows Fulton to nail him from behind with a BRUTAL neck breaker, then hit the DROPLINE for the three count!
WINNER in 16:45 – Stan Fulton
ATTITUDE ADJUSTER & HONCHO WILLIAMS vs. PHOENIX RISING – Non-Title MatchThe new champs first match since winning the title, this match was already signed when AA and Honcho won, and the committee felt PR hadn’t earned a title shot yet. A win here would certainly gain them a one on one match sometime soon. We get a handshake of mutual respect before the match, which seems to confuse AA, who doesn’t realize he is now a face. No Longer OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion #Heel Cardboard Cutout Johnny Adrenaline, with Special Bob Orton Jr. Memorial Wrestling Cast looks on disapprovingly. The match starts and we get some back and forth wrestling. Fire and Alex take advantage after some miscommunication between AA and Honcho. Fire and Alex get several near falls on Honcho before he makes the hot tag to AA who comes in, to the roar of the crowd, which leads No Longer OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion #Heel Cardboard Cutout Johnny Adrenaline, with Special Bob Orton Jr. Memorial Wrestling Cast to look out at the crowd in disbelief. AA backdrops Firewoman, then catches a charging Alex in a sleeper hold, only to break it and catch Fire in the IRON CLAW!! Alex, being the legal man, gets to his feet and comes after AA to break up the IRON CLAW, but Honcho catches him with a SUPERKICK! AA tosses Fire out of the ring to the floor, hooks Alex and hits an ADRENALINE RUSH! AA gives No Longer OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion #Heel Cardboard Cutout Johnny Adrenaline, with Special Bob Orton Jr. Memorial Wrestling Cast the double thumbs up, which the crowd loves, they count along as AA hooks Alex’s leg and gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNERS in 19:12 – Attitude Adjuster & Honcho Williams
Firewoman is LIVID. She pulls Attitude Adjuster off Alexander. AA gets to his feet, and she attacks, driving him back to the ropes, with a flurry of unsportswomanlike behavior. Alexander recovers and pulls her off at the waist, but she nearly drags AA with her since she has him by the hair. She finally lets go and he rolls out of the ring, and he and Honcho celebrate on the way to the back.
Firewoman pushes Alex away from her angrily. Alex is frustrated by the loss too, but knows it's probably best to let Fire blow off some steam first. Fire rolls out one side of the ring, and Alex the other. As she walks around to the ramp, right at the corner is a fan with a sign that says "Fire Bakes Cookies." She turns and glares at him, and then walks toward him. They have a conversation, and Fire seems to be asking his name. Is that William? Wyatt? Something like that. Anyway, she's not pleased about his sign and takes it from him, ripping it into three pieces and throwing it at him. She yells something about "Is that edgy enough for ya? How does that sparkle with you? How do you like me now, mother fucker? You wanna try again? Get in the ring, mother fucker. And I'll kick your bitchy little ass!!"
Security has come down to intervene, but it's not really necessary. Fire pushes through them abruptly, sending them flying back, and storms up the ramp, Alex following her. Some security follows her, some tend to the fan. GM Selena is on the ramp, arms folded looking VERY disappointed (but also pleased, if that's possible). Firewoman just glares at her as she walks to the back, no doubt to destroy some innocent furniture.
LD WILLIAMS & DANNY TAYLOR vs. CHRIS EVANS & MAI MUYOExtra referee’s just decide to come to ringside, and the riot police are stationed at the top of the ramp, because why not, right? The four are out and the bell rings. Mai and Evans show some surprising teamwork using fast tags and actually outwrestle LD and Danny for the first part of the match, but their confidence leads to them getting cocky and LD catches Evans with a clothesline that nearly decapitates him. LD tags in Danny, and Danny wisely comes in and waits for Evans to get to his feet, cutting off his escape to Mai. Evans sees Danny and tries to bail out of the ring, but LD catches him and shoots him right back into the ring where Danny finally gets his hands on him. Danny throws Evans to the corner and OBLITERATES him with chops and forearms, beating him down to the mat. Danny vents some serious frustration on Evans, Evans finally bails out of the ring, but again, LD throws him back into the action. Danny tries a suplex, but Evans slips out of his grasp and tags in Mai. Mai comes in and counters some of Danny’s moves and stuns him with a STUNNER! Evans wants right back into the match, and he chokes Danny and does everything he can while the big man is down to taunt him, even trapping him in an arm bar and yelling for him to say “I Quit” Danny has rage in his eyes and fights back to his feet, but Evans breaks the hold and tags Mai back into the match. The action remains fast and furious but finally, predictably breaks down. The four hit their finishers, including LD taking Mai out with a CANADIAN DESTROYER! Evans recovers from the DYNAMITE DROP to hit Danny from behind, dumping him over the top rope. LD gets to his feet after hitting the destroyer on Mai, and Evans grabs him from behind, rolls him up, grabbing a handful of tights, and gets the three count!
WINNERS in 20:20 – Chris Evans & Mai Muyo
LD is LIVID and tries to explain to the army of referees that is was a tight pull, but somehow none of them saw it. Mai and Evans stumble up the ramp taunting LD and Danny. The New Guard live to fight another day.
CROWING vs. GHOSTHEAD vs. RABBIT MASK – OOWF Onslaught Championship Elimination MatchGhost and Crowing go at it to start things off, while Rabbit just kind of relaxes on the turnbuckle in the corner. Crowing ducks a clothesline attempt from Ghost and hits a bridging German suplex, Rabbit hops (no pun intended) to the top rope and hits a SICK double stomp to Crowing’s midsection to break up the pin. Rabbit takes over, pulling Crowing to his feet and sending him to the ropes and hitting a press slam diamond cutter, then grabbing Ghost and hitting several jumping knees to his face backing him to the corner. Rabbit goes in and monkey flips Ghost out of the corner, but Ghost lands on his feet and SPEARS Crowing, who just got to his feet! Ghost covers Crowing, but Rabbit breaks it up, then seems to reconsider his stance, and throws Ghost back on Crowing and tells the referee to count, but Crowing kicks out at two. Ghost and Crowing get to their feet and have had about enough of Rabbit. They team up to double team Rabbit battering him with forearms and kicks, sending him between the ropes to the floor. Inside the ring, Crowing tries a HURRACARANA but Ghost catches him and turns it into a HORROR DRIVER! Ghosthead heads to the corner and climbs the ropes for a SPECTRE’S FALL, but Rabbit grabs his foot from the outside causing Ghost to fall off the ropes and crash to the mat. Crowing never saw the interference and drags himself to Ghost and throws an arm over his chest and gets the one, two, THREE!
Ghosthead is eliminatedCrowing is supposed to get one minute to recover, but he gets nothing because Rabbit Mask hits him out of NOWHERE with the ORIGINAL 810! The lack of etiquette gets Rabbit Mask a warning from the referee, but Rabbit ignores it, pulls a dazed Crowing to his feet and hits the RABBIT DRIVER 2012! Rabbit covers Crowing and gets the three count and the title!
WINNER in 22:14 – and NEW OOWF Onslaught Champion – Rabbit Mask
MATT FOLZ vs. RICKY SOARING EAGLE – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchFolz attacks RSE before the bell, which just serves to annoy RSE. He quickly turns the tables and throws Folz into the corner and batters him with lefts and rights. The referee tries to step in and stop it and comes within a fraction of an inch of catching a RSE haymaker to the face, but RSE, to his credit, stops short. The hesitation allows Folz to catch RSE with a knee to the groin, sending him to the mat. Folz takes over and keeps RSE on the mat and works his knees and ankles, working for the ankle lock. Soaring Eagle fights back to his feet and reverses a whip by Folz, pulls him back and nearly breaks his neck with a short clothesline. RSE throws Folz to the apron and hits an APRON DDT! Folz is dazed and nearly out of it. Soaring Eagle is in complete control, and calls for the RETURN TO EARTH! He gets Folz onto his shoulders, but Folz slips out of his grip and lands on the mat behind him and spins him around, then rocks him with several European uppercuts, then tries for the BRAINBUSTER, but RSE blocks it and grabs Folz in a suplex then throws him on the top rope. Folz grabs his midsection in pain and stands on the apron, and RSE KILLS him with a running, spinning fist to the temple! Folz crashes to the floor, and might be out cold! Soaring Eagle leaves the ring and rolls him back into the ring, but before he can come in and cover, the rest of the New Guard attacks him on the outside. Soaring Eagle tries to fight them off, but no one is going to survive seven to one odds. The referee calls for the bell as the Old Guard rushes to the ring to save Soaring Eagle.
WINNER by disqualification in 17:17 – Ricky Soaring Eagle
In the melee, Soaring Eagle slides back into the ring and waits for Folz to struggle to his feet, grabs him and PLANTS him with the RETURN TO EARTH! Soaring Eagle grabs the Intercontinental title, looks at it, then drops it across a prone Folz’s chest, then leaves the ring and heads to the back while the camera focuses on the New Guard and Old Guard brawling at ringside.
