OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Glendale, Arizona
As the show begins,
This Video is seen on screen. The crowd pops loudly and we get to action.
Awesome Bill & Justin Sane vs. Comrade Sharkoff & Mystery Partner“Insane in the Brain” plays and Bill and Justin come out, both riding Drunkey and Drunkette. Bill wields Happy Bubble Bat and yells “CHAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGEEEE” and they storm…….well, as much as donkey’s do……to the ring. They circle the ring and climb off and step between the ropes and the crowd pops loudly. Comrade Sharkoff’s music plays, and he comes out from behind the curtain, and is shortly followed by BEAST! Beast looks considerably more sober……finally. They come to the ring and try to attack as the bell rings.
Justin stops Beast with a head butt to the chest while Bill and Sharkoff fight in the middle of the ring. Bill is getting the best of the exchange when Sharkoff rakes his eyes and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Sharkoff attacks Justin from behind and Sharkoff and Beast double teams Justin, hitting a double kick to the face that sends Justin over the top rope to the floor.
The heels celebrate, but as they turn around, Bill is back into the ring and he clotheslines them both. Bill peppers Beast with punches to the face, then floors him with an ATOMIC ELBOW! He turns to Sharkoff, but the Mad Russian kicks him in the knee, then drops him with a STUNNER! Sharkoff covers, but Bill kicks out at two.
Beast gets back to his feet and is about to help Sharkoff, when Justin flies in from nowhere and lands on his back and traps Beast in a SLEEPER! Beast starts to fade and drops to one knee. Sharkoff grabs the Doughawk, always a bad idea, and pulls Justin off of him. Sharkoff sends Justin to the ropes and hits a RUSSIAN SICKLE! Justin is DEAD! Sharkoff sets him up for a pile driver, Beast climbs to the top rope, he is going to hit the MIGHTY DEATH HAMMER (or whatever it was called, where the hell is Beast’s bio?) to Justin’s groin! Beast leaps, but Justin drops his legs at the last second and the MIGHTY DEATH HAMMER lands square on top of Sharkoff’s head! Sharkoff falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring.
Bill grabs a stunned Beast and hits the DIRTY BIRD! Bill covers, one, two, THREE!
WINNERS in 11:01 – Awesome Bill From Dawsonville & Justin Sane
After the match, Justin and Bill saddle up Drunkey and Drunkette and take a victory lap before heading up the ramp. Sharkoff stands outside the ring for a moment FUMING. He grabs his chain and wraps it around his fist and heads into the ring. As Beast stands up, Sharkoff BLASTS him in the face sending him to the mat. Sharkoff mounts him and HAMMERS Beast with shots to the head until Beast is an unconscious bloody mess. Sharkoff gets to his feet, looks down at Beast and spits on him. The crowd boos loudly, Sharkoff gives them an obscene gesture and heads to the back.
Phantos vs. PowerClean start, with a lock up and some nice chain wrestling. Power reverses a hammerlock and snaps off a German Suplex. Phantos pops back up and leg sweeps her to the mat. Power with an Irish whip, and Phantos rebounds with a flying forearm. Both kip up and try clotheslines. Power to her feet first and pulls Phantos up for a powerslam… but Phantos slides behind her and sends her hard into the turnbuckles. She staggers out and gets dropkicked to the floor. Phantos waits for her to re-enter and goes for a bulldog. She pushes him off in time, but Phantos snaps back with a superkick that lays Power on her back. Phantos drops a couple of elbows Power gets to her feet and battles back, trading chops with Phantos and backing him into a corner. He drives a shoulder to Power’s mid-section and lifts her up, and sets her on the turnbuckle. Phantos climbs up and hooks her for a superplex, but she pushes him off and down to the mat. She times her jump as he gets back to his feet…. And Phantos catches her body press attempt in mid-air. He snaps it down into a backbreaker and scales to the top. He perches and waits… and nails a Missile Dropkick! He hooks the leg 1…..2…..3! Winner; in 5:02; Phantos!
Glory vs. LuciosLockup to start and Lucios powers Glory into the corner. He hits a couple of elbow strikes and hip tosses her to the mat. She pops back up and ducks his shoulder block, sending Lucios into the ropes and hitting a nice dropkick. Lucios gets to his feet and blocks a suplex attempt, then lifts Glory for Suplex School! He hits the high vertical, slingshot and gordbuster and goes for a pin. Glory is too close to the ropes and she gets a clean break. Lucios scoops her up for a slam, but Glory small packages him for a quick 2 count. She beats him to his feet and sends him into the ropes, looking for a backdrop. Lucios sees it coming and DDT’s her to the mat. Glory gets pulled up for a press slam, but she wiggles out of it and drops behind Lucios. Glory hits a back cracker, but can’t follow up as Lucios blocks her DDT and turns it into a standing belly to belly suplex. She ducks the big boot and rebounds off the ropes only to be caught in a snap powerslam. Lucios hits a Border Toss, then stalks Glory as she gets to her feet. He lifts her up into the Torture Rack, and jumps several times for emphasis. IT takes a few moments, but Glory is left with no way out and submits. Winner; in 4:59; Lucios!
Moosehead Jack & Ghosthead vs. The Flyin’ Hawaii’ansThe OOWF DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion Moosehead Jack and the OOWF Onslaught champion Ghosthead are announced first and make their way to the ring and the crowd boos them loudly. Neither pay a bit of attention to the fans, and they step between the ropes and discuss some last minute strategy. The Flyin Hawaiians are announce, and Kai, Aina and Noelani come out to the top of the ramp to a loud ovation from the crowd. The Hawaiians make their way to the ring and the Kai steps to the middle of the ring and demands Moosehead Jack. Moose turns and looks at him and smirks and heads to the middle of the ring. Moose and Kai go nose to nose as the bell rings.
The Kai is doing what the Kai does best, talking. A lot. Moose stands there with an amused look on his face for a moment, then the Kai backhands him across the face. Moose snarls and the fight is ON! Kai and Moose brawl around the ring for a minute, the referee barely keeping control. The Kai gets the upper hand with a spinning kick to the gut that doubles Moose over. The Kai grabs Moose and hits a snap suplex, then keeps Moose on the mat and tags in Aina. Aina leaps over the top rope and drops a knee across Moose’s chest and covers, but Moose kicks out at one. Aina pulls Moose to his feet and tries a whip to the ropes, but Moose reverses it and follows Aina and buries a knee to his gut as he rebounds, then takes him to the mat with a RANHEI!
Moose doesn’t even try a cover, he reaches out and tags in Ghosthead, but holds onto Aina allowing Ghost to kick him in the ribs. Ghost pulls Aina up and drives him to the mat with a belly to back suplex, then gets to his feet and drops a leg across his chest, gets up and looks like he is about to go for another one then just stomps on Aina’s face.
The match continues on, and Ghost and Moose actually work well together, using several quick tags to maintain the advantage and get several near falls. Aina fights back and gets the advantage on Moose, dropping him to his knees with a chop to the nose. Aina is about to turn to make the tag to Kai when Moose turns and looks at Ghost, who starts into the ring. As soon as the referee moves to get him out of the ring, Moose NAILS Aina with a low blow, then DRIVES him to the mat with a DDT! Moose covers, but Kai makes the save and breaks it up at two.
The Hawaiians fight back and Kai finally gets tagged in. The Hawaiians clean house and send Moose out of the ring with a back drop over the top rope. They catch Ghosthead with the BUTTERFLY EFFECT but only get a two count when Moose reaches between the ropes and rakes Kai’s eyes. Kai lifts Ghosthead and Aina heads to the top rope and they hit a belly to back suplex/flying leg drop combo for another two count, which is once again broken up by Moose. Moose grabs Kai and slams him in the face with a head butt, but you cannot hurt a Hawaiian by hitting them in the head. This fact does not stop Moose from trying it several times though. Finally the Kai goozles Moose and DRIVES him to the mat with a ROCK BOTTOM!
The Hawaiians are on a roll, but while they celebrate, Ghosthead charges for a boot to Kai’s face, but Kai moves out of the way and the move hits Moose square on the jaw, sending him out of the ring to the floor. The Hawaiians grab Ghost and hit the MOLOKAI COCKTAIL, cover, and get the one, two, three! WINNERS; in 22:11; The Flyin Hawaiians
Danny Taylor vs. Rabbit MaskRabbit Mask starts jawing at Danny right at the bell. To his credit DDT stands there emotionless, seemingly blocking out the trash talk. RM pushes Taylor, and Danny puts him on his butt with his push back. RM kips up and goes on the offensive. Danny gets backed into a corner as RM just plasters his chest with chops. Danny quickly swaps places and gets in dozens of rapid fire blows to the gut while the referee counts to 5. DDT backs up just before the 5, and Rabbit springs out at him. DDT catches him and hits a belly to belly suplex. He tries to put RM in the TNT, but Rabbit escapes and gets back to his feet. RM low blows DDT and hits a….. DDT. Funny, huh? RM doesn’t slow down and lifts him up for HEAD DROP #! He hits the move, but loses his grip at the last minute, so DDT doesn’t get all the impact. RM covers, and Taylor kicks out. RM goes for a springboard moonsault, but DDT rolls out of the way and goes to work on Rabbit, hitting a butterfly suplex and a fall away slam. Danny covers for a 2 count, then beats RM to his feet. RM blocks a suplex lift and pushes DDT away, only to SPRAY OUT THE WHITE MIST! Danny sensed this coming and ducks low and shoulder blocks RM into the corner, white mist spewing harmlessly to the mat. Danny drives the shoulder in a couple of times, then hits the DYNAMITE DROP for the 1….2…..3! WINNER; in 8:22; Danny Taylor!
Chris Evans vs. Attitude AdjusterEvans comes out white hot, and AA pays the price, getting pounded into the corner until the official physically wedges himself between AA and CE. Evans goes to work, hitting a dragon suplex and then a tilt a whirl slam. AA crawls to the corner, but CE drags him back and puts him in a bridging hammerlock. AA is able to reach the ropes, and CE breaks the hold… eventually. He drags AA into the middle of the ring and goes to set up the Canadian Crash, but AA twist his way out of it and DDT’s Evans. AA backdrops Evans and drops a couple of elbows on Chris. AA sizes him up for a fist drop, but CE dodges that and hits not one but two tiger suplexes on AA. He pulls him up, and looks to set up the Way of the Future, but AA breaks his grip and tosses CE to the floor, in the process the referee gets bumped and goes down. Evans is growing frustrated, and grabs the ring bell and brings it in the ring. He raises it up to smash AA with it, but AA kicks him in the gut and doubles him over. The referee gets to his feet and sees AA do the Flair Flop on the mat, sees Evans holding the ring bell, and draws his conclusion from there and calls for the bell. WINNER; in 7:36; Via Disqualification; Attitude Adjuster!
Evans is pissed about the decision, but the official ignores him and heads to the back. Evans watches AA get to his knees, and goes ahead and blasts him with the ring bell before storming out in disgust.
El Lobo Sangriento vs. Stank – Winner gets a Title match Next WeekNonpoint’s “Skin ” pours from the sound system and the Grand Slam Champion Stank emerges from the stage along with Attitude Adjuster. Stank is focused and heads straight for the ring, while AA, still enjoying his new found popularity like a kid with a new toy, makes his way around the ring slapping hands and kissing babies until Stank hollers at him and AA jumps into the ring.
“White Limo” by the Foo Fighters brings out the Bloody Wolf, El Lobo Sangriento. The battles between Lobo and Stank's brother Ghosthead are legendary, but with a title shot on the line, we'll see how Lobo fares against the Big Brother, particularly since both men have been on a bit of a losing streak lately.
Both big men lock up in the middle of the ring. Stank takes the first advantage backing Lobo into the ropes and drives a shoulder into the midsection of Lobo before backing out. Lobo nods at Stank as they lock up again. Lobo back Stank into the corner and before breaking Lobo drives two shoulders to the midsection and hip tosses Stank out of the corner. Stank takes objection to this and goes nose to nose with the Bloody Wolf. The jaw jacking is in full swing until Stank tries a roundhouse right which is blocked by Lobo who throws a couple of his own , backing Stank into the ropes and attempting a toss to the ropes but Stank reverses into a SPINEBUSTER. Stank drops the leg over Lobo's neck, then takes to the ropes to hit STANKONIA 2.0 but NOBODY'S HOME. Lobo rolled out of the way and then throws a low dropkick on the seated Stank. Lobo tries the cover but doesn't even get a one count.
Lobo takes over on Stank with a series of strikes, chops, and a leg lariat settling down into a half-crab trying to take the wheels out from under the big man. AA is trying to get the crowd behind Stank and chants of “Stank – Stank – Stank” emerge as the big man finally powers out of the hold. Lobo gets the big man up for a double under hook suplex and the crowd is stunned. Lobo goes back this time for a full Boston Crab, working on the legs and lower back trying for a submission....
But Stank powers out and that starts another chant of “Stank – Stank – Stank” as the former World Champion shows he wants another title shot with strikes, chops, sends Lobo to the corner and follows with a Corner Splash...lather, rinse repeat to the other corner for another Corner Splash. Lobo is on dream Street...Stank sets in the middle of the ring...can he get this off on an opponent nearly his own size? He sets, gets Lobo up for the STANK-U! HITS IT!
But Stank isn't content to go for the pin...he rolls Lobo over...CATCH-22! Referee Junior Hale asks Lobo who gamely tries to find a reversal as he's too far from the ropes, but opts to TAP.
Winner: 12:45 – STANK
Stank's music starts to play, but then shifts to “My Ruin” and out steps Stank's brother Ghosthead. Stank is irate while Ghosthead just comes out to the top of the ramp, nods his head, and returns backstage.
LD Williams vs. Matt Folz – Chris Evans, Special Referee, Non-Title MatchEvans calls for the bell and we’re underway. LD breaks the collar and below tie up and sends Folz into the ropes for a back elbow. He applies a front face lock, then Folz drives them both into the turn buckles. MF keeps the champ pinned and Evans counts to 5 before Folz lets up. Folz pops LD in the jaw and takes him to the ground with a headlock. LD rolls through it and gets a 2 count. Folz rolls through to break the count, and LD gets to his feet and belly to back suplexes MF. Folz continues to hold on to the headlock and once again had LD at a disadvantage. Evans to his credit is keeping back and calling a clean match to this point. LD shoots Folz off into the ropes, and shoulders him to the mat, then hits the ropes himself for an elbow. Folz kicks out of the covers before the count even begins. Both men to their feet, and LD catches Folz with a snap power slam. Evans counts 1…2.. and Folz puts his foot on the bottom rope. Evans stops the count and calls for the break. Folz ducks a clothesline and just tosses LD to the floor. He follows him out and tosses the champ into the barricade. AA sees this and tries to help, but MF knocks him on his ass. Evans starts the count. LD reverses a whip and sends Folz crashing into the ring post. Evans gets to 8, and LD rolls in the ring to break the count. Folz starts to climb back in, and LD helps him along with a suplex. LD works Folz over and into the corner where Evans again starts the 5 count. LD breaks at 4 and he and CE have a stare down. Folz uses that time to take LD down and lock in an STF. LD inches his way to the ropes and again, Evans calls for and gets a clean break. LD sends Folz into the ropes, takes him down and puts on his own STF. Folz struggles to reach the ropes himself, but instead of calling for the break, Evans puts the boots to both men while they are on the mat. Evans’ rage is evident, and he refuses to relent as the timekeeper rings the bell repeatedly. Every blow is to the skull, and another man is able to get up past his knees. AA stops glad-handing fans at ringside and tries to intervene, but Evans keeps him at bay until Danny, Lobo, Power, Glory and Stank come running down to ringside. Evans retreats through the crowd, looking extremely pleased with himself. RESULT; No Contest in 12:54
Phoenix Rising vs. Stan Fulton & Mai Muyo – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchBefore the introductions, there is some excitement at ringside as Chad Madison and Zane Myers take their ringside seats, as promised. Chad holds the ticket stubs up for the camera to see. “Crusher” brings out the former New-Guard members Stan Fulton and Mai Muyo. Mai is happily skipping and jogging down the ramp, while Fulton is all business and focuses on the ring. For Fulton this is important as winning this match would complete his Grand Slam, making him the ninth member of the exclusive fraternity. Fulton stands, back to the turnbuckle, while Mai climb the turnbuckle and sits on the massive shoulders of the Crusher.
Next, A Perfect Circle’s “Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums” fires up as the team of Alexander Darling and Firewoman, collectively known as Phoenix Rising, hit the stage. They raise their belts to cheers and take their time coming down the ramp, each working one side of the audience before entering the ring. Mai follows their movements around the ring, while Fulton remains stoic and focused. The teams move to the center of the ring as Mai rolls of Fulton’s shoulders to the mat. The champs hand over the belts to the referee who holds them up, and Fulton and Mai extend their hands to the champs, who reluctantly shake. Mai and Stan pull the Darlings in close, bot go no farther as they release the handshake.
There's a commotion on the stage as stagehands bring out four chairs to Stage Right. Out come Wyatt, Power and Glory and their new associate Mary Lou to watch this contest live and in person. Stan and Mai give a little golf clap as the foursome comes out, and Fire and Alex scowl.
As in prior contests the ladies start out for each team. The ladies circle each other, and Mai busts out a little gymnastic move to throw Fire off her track. The ladies lock up, and Mai curls up and throws Fire with a monkey flip. You can tell the antics of Mai are getting to her a little, but the two lock up again. This time Fire throws Mai in a hip toss. Mai stands up and gives Fire a nice little clap and plays it to the crowd who laughs and applauds.
The ladies lock up again but this time Mai raises Fire with a kick to the midsection, hits a short uppercut forearm, and then quickly drops Fire with an Evenflow DDT. Mai picks up Fire and throws her into the challenger’s corner, then dashes across the ring for a Handspring Elbow, smoothly making the tag to Fulton who lumbers into the ring, and with some help from Mai, lands a big corner splash on Fire that moves the ring six inches.
Fire is virtually at the mercy of Fulton and Muyo, as they alternatingly use Fulton's mass and power along with Mai's speed and strength to keep the ring cut in half and keep Fire from the tag. Finally Mai Muyo misses a handspring elbow to the neutral corner and Fire rolls to tag her husband Alex, who comes in a house a-fire. Chops, strikes, and throws on Mai and even some power against the huge Stan Fulton start to turn things the way of the champs, but that doesn't last too long as Alex turns to check on Fire, then turns back to eat a super kick from Mai.
Another extended half-ring set with Alex isolated in the challengers corner, with what looks like endgame as Fulton tags in Mai, picks up Alex and holds him over his shoulders in position for what looks like Power and Glory's Flapjack Bulldog Finisher. Mai mounts the turnbuckle behind Stan.... Fire races around and shakes the ropes, knocking Mai to the mat. Stan drops Alex, Alex chop blocks Fulton, then rolls to make the tag to his wife. Firewoman comes in and begins trying to take the wheels out from under the Fulton, finally nailing a kick to the back of the head which draws an “Oooooooo” from the crowd. Firewoman grabs the arms of the big man....FIRESTOMP! Showing her power, the much smaller Firewoman brings Fulton to the middle of the ring and locks him into the WALLS OF JERICHO! Mai is just starting to stir from the floor and Power and Glory continue to hold off the Hawaiians, and Fulton has no choice but to tap out. Winners; in 22:15; Phoenix Rising!
The bell barely rings and “Sex Type Thing” by the Stone Temple Pilots begins to play as a video of a large wave plays on the Jumbotron. On the stage, Wyatt directs Power and Glory to move to the top of the ramp to block the path of the Flyin Hawaiians.. but they blow past them and take off after the downed challengers. Fulton tries to get back to his feet as The Kai and Aina work over the hurt Mai, throwing her back into the ring and setting her up for the MOLOKAI COCKTAIL. Mai is down and hurt. The Hawaiians turn their attention to Fulton who is still trying to get his legs back under him, with multiple kicks to the head, which sends Fulton back town in the middle of the ring and opening up the wounds of the past few weeks. The Hawaiians hit their SSP/450 Combo, while Power and Glory, led by Wyatt, try to get to the ring to save their friends. The three, with Wyatt holding his Halliburton as a weapon, position themselves between the Hawaiians and their friends, and Noelani leads her charges away, laughing.
Meanwhile, Alex and Fire look on the scene with some amusement, as they grab their belts from the timekeeper and head up the ramp. They look over at Mary Lou, laugh, and head through the curtains while Wyatt, Power, and Glory all help Stan and Mai backstage to Medical and this match is history.
Ricky Soaring Eagle vs. J-P Sparxx – OOWF Intercontinental Title matchSparxx jumps Eagle before the bell rings, looking for a measure of revenge from his beating earlier in the week. RSE absorbs the blows, then turns Sparxx around in the corner and nearly takes his head off with an elbow to the jaw. He tosses J-P across the ring and comes running out with a knee lift. RSE presses J-P over his head and tosses him back across the ring. JPS rolls to the floor and Jewel consoles him, while cursing at Eagle. Ricky stands stoic, waiting for JPS to climb back up. Sparxx gets to the apron, then Eagle suplexes him inside. RSE goes to drop a big leg across the throat, but Sparxx rolls out of the way. J-P springs up and catches RSE with a stiff kick to the back of the head. JOS hits a nice back handspring elbow and follows up with a BME for a 2 count. Eagle powers up, and J-P whips him across the ring. As Eagle hits the ropes, he holds on and JPS crashes and burns with his dropkick. RSE hits a running big boot and a snap powerslam. J-P is wobbly on his feet, and RSE takes his head off with a Clothesline from Hell. Eagle presses J-P up for the Sitting thunder, but Spraxx slides down his back and tackles RSEs knee. Eagle drops to one knee and JPS hits a Shining Wizard. Sparxx kicks Eagle a couple times and scrambles up for a moonsault… but RSE is on his feet and catches J-P in mid-air. In one fluid motion, Ricky catches J-P, then turns and hits the Return to the Earth! 1…2….3! Winner; in 13:32; Ricky Soaring Eagle!
