BANNED FROM EVERYWHERE vs. SUICIDE KINGSBFE scores the upset win when Eco and Mai distract Reyna and Allen. Match TBAL
DANNY TAYLOR vs. CHRIS EVANSChris Evans is out first, ignoring the boos that rain down upon him. He strolls to the ring and poses on the ropes, then smirks as he stares up the aisle. Danny Taylor, accompanied by Victor Dinero, receives a much more positive response. They pause on the stage for a moment to drink in the reaction, then march to ringside. They shake hands, and then Danny rolls into the ring. Referee Junior Hale steps between the two men, gives them their instructions, and calls for the bell.
They lock up and Danny backs Evans to the ropes. Danny breaks clean, but Evans rakes his eyes. Danny staggers back, and Evans buries a knee in his stomach. Evans hooks him for a DDT, but Taylor picks him up and tosses him into the corner, Evans bounces off the turnbuckles and Taylor juggles him with a right and left to the body, then plants him with a belly-to-belly suplex. He hooks the leg, but Evans rolls a shoulder at two. Danny gets to his feet and grabs Evans as he gets up, shoving him into the corner. Danny connects with a series of forearms, then sends him across the ring. Evans hits the corner hard, but manages to dodge when Danny charges. Danny slams into the turnbuckles, and Evans drives a kick into his kidneys. He grabs Danny's head and yanks him back into a lung blower. Evans goes to the ropes and drives a knee into his throat. He covers, but Danny powers out at one.
Both men are up, and Evans ducks a swing and connects with a kick to the knee. It takes two more to drop the big man to one knee, and Evans drives repeated elbows into the side of his head. Evans hits the ropes behind Taylor and dropkicks him in the back, sending him face-first into the mat. He grabs Danny's foot and drives his knee repeatedly into the mat. He ties Danny's legs up, pulling them into a sharpshooter. Taylor struggles, and drags himself towards the ropes. As he does, Ecosystem steps through the curtain and strolls down the aisle. He takes a seat at ringside, watching the action. Just before Danny reaches the ropes, Evans drags him back to the middle of the ring. Junior checks, but Danny refuses to submit and starts to crawl again. Finally, he reaches the ropes and Junior forces the break.
Evans releases the hold, but immediately drops his weight onto Danny's knee. He rolls him over and drags him toward the corner. Evans slides under the ropes and tries to tie him into a ringpost figure four, but Danny kicks him away. Evans rolls to his feet and hops onto the apron as Danny struggles to his feet. Evans springs off the top rope, but Danny snags him in mid-air and plants him with a spinebuster. Danny foregoes the cover, drags him to his feet, and sends him across the ring. Evans ducks a clothesline and grabs the top rope to stop his momentum. He snaps off a superkick as Danny charges, but Danny catches it and pulls him into a leg-trap suplex. This time he covers, but only gets two.
Danny hauls Evans to his feet and drives him into the corner. He gets the better of an exchange of forearms and lifts Evans onto the top rope. Evans pummels Taylor with forearms before he can follow up, and manages to drive him back. Evans leaps off with a clothesline, but Taylor moves out of the way. Evans lands hard and crumples, grabbing his ankle. He tries to stand, but falls over, clutching his leg. Danny shakes his head, then rolls his eyes as Junior checks on Evans. He waits for the ref to get out of the way and moves in. When Evans tries snag him in a small package, Taylor is ready for it and blocks, He hauls Evans up - and Drops the Bomb. Taylor covers, and Junior counts One...Two...Three.
WINNER, in 12:36, Danny Taylor.
After the match: Victor joins Danny in the ring as he celebrates. Evans rolls under the ropes and drops to the floor. Ecosystem helps him up and follows him up the aisle.
ALEXANDER DARLING & CHAD MADISON vs. MATT FOLZ & SPIDER MCNULTYSpider McNulty struts out to the ring to Judas Priest's The Rage” to a somewhat ambivalent reaction by the crowd for the grizzled veteran. He steps confidently down the ramp, walks up the steps, wipes his feet on the apron in a very old school fashion, and steps through the ropes, bouncing off the ropes and tests them...
When “Battle without Honor or Humanity” fires up and the crowd just goes nuts for Matt Folz. He stands at the top of the ramp, hands on hips, and just shakes his head at the cheering. He walks down the ramp and climbs the steps and raises a hand to acknowledge the crowd.
The lights go out as we hear “There can only be one” and a single shimmering spotlight focuses on a figure in a Phoenix Rising hoodie. Porcelain and the Tramps “King of the World” starts up and the figure reveals himself to be Alexander Darling who runs to the ring, slides under the bottom rope and leaps the turnbuckle to a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Then Clint Black's "Desperado" fires up the crowd cheers for “Cowboy” Chad Madison who Texas two-steps down the ramp, stopping to shake hands, kiss babies, and flirt with the ladies. He steps into the ring and tips his hat to his opponents...
The referee calls for one member of each team. Spider claps Matt on the back and tells him to “let ol' Spider show you how we did this.” Matt shakes his head and steps out on the apron. Chad puts his cowboy hat on the ringpost and nods at Alex who smirks before stepping out, and it looks like it'll be Chad and Spider to start things out.
Spider assumes control, backing Chad into the ropes and lays in some stiff forearms before tossing Chad across the ring. Spider goes for the clothesline but Chad ducks it and comes off for a cross body! But Spider's stronger than he looks...and that's strong! He hauls Chad over for a powerslam. Spider locks in a headlock as there's commotion over in Spider's corner. The Suicide Kings have snuck out and have pulled Matt Folz off the apron the hard way, hitting his head on the apron on the way down. As they swarm on Folz, Alex has reached under the ring and brought out a sledgehammer and begins taking swings at the Kings. As the match continues in the ring, Folz recovers and starts fighting back along with Alex. Referees and security are having a hard time breaking this one up, so they wisely divert it up the ramp and the match in the ring continues.
The first discovery of the interference of the Kings is when Chad reaches up to tag in Alex and...no Alex. Chad reaches the ropes and Spider slowly gives him the clean break. Spider turns to give Folz a shot in the match...and no Folz. Spider starts to turn to the referee and ends up eating Chad's infamous Triple Dropkick. Spider is dazed and doesn't see Chad's superkick hit right on the button. Chad hooks Spider's big leg and the count is academic.
Winner in 8:45 – Chad Madison and Alexander Darling
Chad grabs his hat off the corner post and goes off in search of his partner, while Spider's on the mat trying to figure out just what happened....
CHRISTIAN CARTER vs. ECOSYSTEM“Monsters” by V-Shaped Mind plays over the PA system as the crowd boos the living daylights out of the King of Suicide Kings, Christian Carter, as he makes his way down to the ring. He jaws with the fans a bit before stepping into the ring and posing on the turnbuckles, soaking in the contempt of the audience.
PA: Da..da..da..da-da dum-dum…da..
“New Slaves (instrumental)” plays over the PA system next, heralding the entrance of Ecosystem, who gets a big pop as he comes out. Christian Carter just shakes his head in the ring as Eco laughs and raises his microphone.
Eco: You’re shaking your head, Christian, and I feel like shaking my head too. Why are you people cheering me? (Pop!) It’s not like I’ve ever done anything to pander to you fans RIGHT HERE IN YELLOWKNIFE, NORTHWEST TERRITORY! (Pop) Let me tell you, it is a total accident that I just happened to be wearing this under my suit…
Ecosystem takes off his suit jacket to reveal…a MERCREDI jersey! The crowd is going wild. Carter takes a microphone.
Carter: Wait, no, I’m sorry, explain that.
Eco: Vic Mercredi. He was the first ever National Hockey League player to be drafted from the Northwest Territories, and he was actually born RIGHT HERE IN YELLOWKNIFE! (Pop.)
And just like Vic Mercredi…I’m going to lose an election to the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories thirty-one years after my retirement!
Awkward pause.
Carter: What?
Eco: Sorry, that’s not the promo ending. And just like Vic Mercredi…I’m going to KICK CHRISTIAN CARTER’S ASS!
Carter: When did I ever fight Vic Merc—
But Eco is already rushing the ring and tackles Carter! Here the two go, trading blows as the bell rings! The two brawl outside the ring, Eco getting the best of Carter briefly, but Carter shoving Eco back hard into the steel steps! Carter is stomping away on Eco against the steps as the crowd boos! Carter rolls back into the ring, screaming at the referee to count Eco out…Eco rolls back into the ring and Carter stomps away at him as he comes in, choking him out with his boot in the corner.
Carter pulls Eco up and chops away at him a couple times – and finally yanks off the jersey as the crowd boos. Carter makes a big show of blowing his nose on the jersey before tossing it to the ground – specifically not to the crowd – but as he turns back around to Eco, Eco grabs Carter and tosses him into the corner, chopping away at him! WOO! WOO! WOO! Eco backs up, head of steam charge – Carter dodges and Eco lands chest first against the turnbuckles! Carter rolls him up, pulling the tights, but Eco kicks out at two.
Carter goes total heel now, slowing the pace as he holds Eco down with an Armbar…Eco squirms out, and Carter moves to a Dragon Sleeper…Eco pulls himself forward, but Christian Carter switches arms into a PATENTED HEEL CHINLOCK~! Eco looks to be fading in the chinlock…until he suddenly belts out…
Eco: O CANADA…OUR HOME AND NATIVE LAND!
The crowd sings back, “TRUE PATRIOT LOVE IN ALL THY SONS COMMAND!” Carter looks pissed, but distracted, as Eco grabs his leg and reverses the chinlock into an Olympic Slam! Carter up, Eco catches him, belly-to-belly toss! Eco goes to the outside apron as Carter slowly stumbles up – springboard clothesline off the top to take Carter down! Vintage Eco! Christian Carter rolls out of the ring, but Eco bounds off the opposite ropes, looking for a suicide dive – but Carter manages to dodge-deflect him into the barricade!
Both men are down, but Carter is a little steadier, and he gets up and gestures that it’s over, going for the steel chair. Carter measures Eco and swings the chair – but Eco ducks under and tackles Carter over the barricade! Eco and Carter are brawling on the floor…Eco gets up and grabs a water bottle from a fan and dumps it on Carter! Carter trips Eco up, grabs a slushie and dumps it on Eco! Eco is covered in red slush! Eco drop toeholds Carter down, grabs a bag of popcorn…and sits down to eat it, because popcorn is delicious. Carter, annoyed, charges Eco – but Eco back bodydrops Carter into the fans – who catch him and crowdsurf him! Eco jumps into the crowd to crowdsurf after Carter, but they end up getting pulled in opposite directions.
By this time, it’s been well over a count of ten, and the referee rings the bell for the double countout.
Winner in 6:22…No Contest!
The fans are chanting “LET THEM FIGHT!” except that they’re the ones keeping them from fighting, and can’t coordinate enough to fix the problem. Carter eventually hops off the fans and heads to the back, while Eco begins singing “O Canada!” along with the fans as he surfs toward the rafters.
ALEXIS DARLING vs. MAI MUYOAlexis makes her way to the ring first, to a huge chorus of boos. She ignores the crowd as "Hero" plays and Mai Muyo makes her way to ringside. Alexis charges forward, ambushing Mai before she can get in the ring and sending Mai crashing from the apron into the guard rail. The crowd boos loudly as Alexis slides out of the ring and slams Mai's head into the ring steps, followed by a swinging neckbreaker and then a brainbuster onto the concrete. Alexis demands that the referee call for the bell, he does and this one is officially underway.
Alexis covers looking to steal this one. 1...2...Mai rolls her shoulder. Alexis slams the mat in frustration, then scoops Mai up and hits a Fisherman's suplex for another 2 count. Alexis heads up to the second rope and hits a double stomp to Mai's gut. She whips Mai hard into the corner and charges in, nailing her with a forearm. Alexis sets Mai up for a superplex, but Mai blocks and shoves Alexis off the top rope. Mai follows with a knee drop off the top. As Alexis tries to get back to her feet, Mai nails her with a Shining Wizard.
The crowd roars as Mai starts lacing Alexis with hard knife edge chops. Alexis tries a wild punch in return but Mai easily ducks and nails Alexis with a belly to back suplex. Northern Lights Suplex gets 2. Butterfly suplex, and then Mai heads up top looking for the Savior Splash. Alexis moves at the last second. As both get to their feet, Alexis shoves Mai into the referee, smashing him in the corner. Alexis sees this, clips Mai's knee and heads out and grabs a chair from under the ring. Alexis nails Mai with 3 or 4 hard chair shots before Matt Folz runs down to the ring. Alexis turns and tries to nail him with the chair, but he ducks and hits an Angle Slam. Folz smirks and hits another Angle Slam for good measure before helping Mai to her feet. Mai heads up top, Savior Splash connects this time as the referee starts to stir and counts 1, 2, 3.
Winner in 7:45: Mai Muyo
SAINTS OF SINNERS vs. MURPHY’S LAW & GHOSTHEAD – Steel Cage MatchBrutal, violent, bloody war. The referee somehow managed to keep this one an actual six man tag match for most of the match. Moose and DK did their best to murder one another, leaving one another a bloody mess. Chloe did her best to rip Daniella’s arm off her body and beat her to death with it. Daniella did not take a step back and added to the punishment Chloe was still feeling from her match with Fire. On top of all THAT Stan and Ghost played “let’s see who can hurt one another the most.” Stan worked over Ghosts ribs and back, leaving the champion gasping for air while Ghost bloodied Stan and tried to destroy the big man’s knee.
The end of the match came when Moose and Chloe tied Daniella in the ropes and cuffed DK to the cage. Ghost fought the good fight for as long as he could, but the numbers won in the end. Chloe and Moose lift Ghost up, Moose by his shoulders and Chloe by the legs and hold him in the air, Fulton climbs to the top rope and leaps and CRUSHES Ghost down to the mat! Fulton covers, the ref counts three, and the damage has been done. Ghost is prone on the mat gasping for air, blood running from his mouth, it certainly seems like internal injuries are a possibility.
WINNERS in 27:31 – Saints of Sinners
LD WILLIAMS vs. RORY ALBRIGHT – Non-Title MatchThe "Sun King" is out first to the sounds of Skid Row's "18 & Life". The Canadian woman, who love them some glam rock, swoon, as they hear Canada's own Sebastian Bach belt out the opening lyrics to Rory Albright's theme music while the men all collectively roll their eyes. Albright is all business as he makes his way down to the ring followed by Carrie Weiss. He tosses his half empty bottle of beer into the crowd and climbs into the ring through the ropes while Carrie stands ringside.
Albright's music fades out and is replaced by Petra's "Jekly and Hyde". The crowd pops HUGE for Canada's native son, the OOWF Onslaught Champion, LD Williams! The Saint of Sinner doesn't really acknowledge the ovation, as he heads down the ring and unstraps the IC belt from around his waist. He drops the title ringside, slides in under the bottom rope and goes on the attack catching Rory Albright unaware with a forearm to the side of his head!
The bell is rung and LD stomps away at Albright slumped in the corner! The Sun King is in trouble early as LD continues to relentlessly beat down on his helpless prey... wait a minute... not so helpless after all as Albright kicks the Onslaught Champion's shin causing LD to stumble backward and allowing Albright to roll out of the ring to try and catch his breath! Carrie Weiss walks over to her man's side and as she checks up on him, LD hits the ropes and DIVES THROUGH causing Carrie to scurry away to safety while Albright is drilled into the crowd barrier!
LD is up first. He pulls Albright up to his feet and SLINGS him into the STEEL STEPS! LD slides into the ring to break up the count and comes out on the side where Rory ends up. He reaches down to pull Albright to his feet, but Rory escapes further punishment with several punches to LD's gut! Rory finally gets to his feet and DROPS the Onslaught Champion with a BOOT TO THE FACE! The Sun King, satisfied, pulls LD to his feet and rolls him under the bottom rope where he covers and gets TWO!
Albright runs the ropes and drops a knee on LD's head! Cover... TWO! Albright pulls LD to his feet and lays into him for several minutes with punches and kicks, wearing the Onslaught Champion down! It all culminates in a hope spot for LD REVERSED into a GUTWRENCH FALLING POWERBOMB! Albright covers...
one!
Two!
THRE---NOOOOO! LD Williams rolls his shoulder at the last moment!
Albright slaps the mat in frustration then pulls Williams to his feet... Irish Whip... REVERSED and LD comes back with a SPINNING CALF KICK which knocks the taller Rory Albright off his feet! LD pounces on Albright unloading on the young man's head with fists and elbows, cutting The Sun King open!
LD hops to his feet and climbs the turnbuckles, but hops back down to the mat, as Rory Albright rolls out of the ring and falls to the floor below. LD stalks his prey, sliding out the opposite side, and running around the ring, looking to build momentum for a high impact move on Albright, but Carrie Weiss stands in his way, stopping LD just short of impact! LD points at her and gestures broadly for Weiss to move out of the way! Carrie refuses, as the refs count gets to SEVEN!!
LD warns Carrie to move once again, but a bleeding and exhausted Albright manages to pull himself up into the ring and push up onto his hands and knees. LD Williams slides in after him and runs the ropes, as Albright staggers to his feet. LD comes back with a FLYING CLOTHESLINE attempt, but Albright SNATCHES LD out of the air and REVERSES it into the PCB! (minus the theatrics of the "kiss" from Abigail)
Rory Albright covers the stunned Onslaught Champion! 1... 2... THREE!!! What an upset!
Your winner in 16:42 - Rory Albright!
Albright rolls out of the ring and falls to his hands and knees. Carrie Weiss runs around excitedly and helps her man up. Rory Albright staggers to his feet and smiles broadly as a nasty cut under his eye flows with blood. Rory raises a fist in victory as he and Carrie Weiss make their way up the ramp while LD sits up in the middle of the ring clearly disappointed at getting caught. He glares after The Sun King who staggers his way up the ramp with his arm wrapped around the shoulders of his woman, his smile caught on the Jumbotron as they walk.
CRASH & BURN vs. STRENGTH IN SILENCE – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchClassic tag team battle here, both teams go back and forth, neither able to keep the advantage for long. The match stays completely clean and the fans are PUMPED because of it. Quick tags and lots of near falls keep the crowd on the edge of their seats. The end comes when Wilder tries the AIR WALK, but Power catches him and SLAMS him to the mat! As a dazed Wilder gets to his feet, Tuska hits the SILENCER! Power dives through the ropes and crashes into Miranda on the floor, Tuska covers, one….two….THREE! NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
WINNERS in 26:55 – and NEW OOWF World Tag Team Champions – Strength in Silence
After the match the two teams exchange hugs and handshakes and Crash & Burn raises the new champs arms in victory, and the crowd eats it up
STANK vs. ZANE MYERS – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchThis one never even gets going. Stank and Zane just decide to destroy one another. They stay in the ring for about three seconds, and then they are both on the floor brawling and beating one another senseless with whatever they can get their hands on. Zane makes a few attempts to get back in the ring, but it never lasts. Pretty soon LD Williams (who is cheered louder than anyone on the show) and Chad Madison (who nearly gets booed out of the building……again) are both down and it turns into a big tag schmozz. The locker room empties and the two sides are eventually separated. Looks like another match has not settled a single thing between these two.
WINNER – No Match
