OOWF Invitational Round 1[/u]
UNDERDAWG vs. JUSTIN SANEJustin Sane wanders to the ring first, he looks everywhere but cannot seem to find his nemesis Ladder anywhere. Sane is so preoccupied with searching for Ladder that he doesn’t notice UD’s entrance. UnderDawg waits in the ring for Sane, but Sane is busy quizzing the folks in the front row. Only problem is this, Sane speaks no French so he can’t understand a word they are saying. UnderDawg finally gets tired of waiting and leaves the ring and stands behind Sane. In his quest for Ladder, Sane turns around and just shoves UD out of the way and resumes his search. UnderDawg looks perplexes that Sane would just shove him aside. UD lunges at Sane and grabs him by the back of the head and the tights and shoots him into the ring. Sane finally seems to realize that he is once again in a match with the UnderDawg. Sane gets to his feet and hits the ropes and tries to take UD down with a shoulder block, unfortunately for him he just bounds off of UnderDawg and hits the mat. While this is going on, a back stage worker comes out to the ring carrying…Ladder! He gets to the bottom of the ramp and sets it up and starts to walk away, then suddenly remembers the sign he has rolled up in his back pocket, he takes it out, unrolls it, and tapes it to the ladder, the camera pans around and the sign says JUSTIN SANE SUX! The back stage guy shakes his head and walks to the back, before he goes through the curtain we see Eric O’Mac and Thim laughing uncontrollably. Inside the ring, Justin Sane is slowly getting to his feet, he looks out of the ring and sees Ladder sitting there and reads the sign. Sane begins to shake with rage. UnderDawg grabs him by the scruff of the neck, but Sane knocks his hands aside and hits a couple of wicked stiff kicks to the sides of UD’s knees, then his ribs, dropping UD to his knees, then finally hits a shining wizard that puts UD down! Sane pulls UD to his feet and hits him with a butter fly power bomb. UD is in trouble! Sane goes for the cove….no he doesn’t. Sane leaves the ring and stands in front of Ladder shaking with rage. He just glares at the sign then rips it off of Ladder and tears it to pieces. Sane begins screaming at Ladder and arguing very animatedly with the…well ladder. Sane gets a look of near insanity on his face and begins stomping up the rungs of the ladder, screaming the whole time how he will make Ladder submit to his 1080 hurracarana…oh boy. Meanwhile UnderDawg has fully recovered in the ring and is watching Sane. As Sane climbs the ladder, UD leaves the ring. Sane makes it almost to the top, and notices – too late, that UnderDawg has climbed the other side of the ladder. As he gets to the top, UD goozels him, lifts him and delivers a CHOKESLAM FROM THE TOP OF LADDER!!!! Sane crashes through the Lorrainian Announce Table. UD climbs down, pulls Sane's limp body from the wreckage and rolls him into the ring. UD pulls Sane up, delivers the Fireplug Driver, covers and gets the academic three count.
WINNER in 8:39 UnderDawg
CHRIS COLE vs. SHASHWAT MISHRAOut of the gate, this was standard back-and-forth, punchy-kicky fare. The crowd is unsure of who to cheer for. Half seem to side with the veteran Cole while the other half like to see him get beat by the brash, young rookie. Both men really pound into each other for the first five minutes at a brutal pace. But CC eventually seized control at about the 5-minute mark, and started a concerted attack on SM's left knee. CC was able to get a chop block on SM and then locked in his raiser Cloverleaf. SM screams in pain but won’t tap. After about two minutes, SM is able to turn over and reach the ropes. Cole jumps back on offense with kicks to the head. Then he goes to the outside for a rare trip to the top turnbuckle. SM nips up and then hits a sweet looking shining wizard knocking CC from the turnbuckle and back into the ring. SW is in control and uses his speed to attack CC from all angles. Dropkicks land to Cole’s knees, face, back, and chest. SM attempts pin falls three different times but Cole kicks out at 2 every time. SM then locks Cole in the Pain Killer. Cole thinks about tapping but instead lunches for the ropes just grazing them with his fingertips. It is enough for the ref to call for the break. Cole was able to take control again after a kick to SM leg and then some high impact offense followed. At about the 16 minute mark, SM goes for a DDT, but CC reached out and grabbed the top rope to block it. SM still crashed to the mat. Cole takes advantage and locks the Indian leg lock onto SM. Mishra is able to make it to the ropes after a few minutes. SM eventually gets to his feet, and staggers his way to a corner, where CC tries to attack, and he nails SM, and SM sandwiches the ref. CC kicks SM once in the leg, causing SM to crumple on the ground again. Cole goes to the outside and grabs a chair from the ring announcer. But SM, acting on instinct, avoids the chair and instead sends dropkicks the chair back into Cole’s face. FC runs out and nails SM from behind. FC is getting the better of SM until Mishra is able to hit a drop toehold, which bounces FC’s head off the chair. SM picks up the chair and looks to use it on Cole. Just before SM is able to attack Cole dives at SM’s hurt leg. Mishra drops the chair and Cole kicks the chair out of the ring just as the ref is awakening. Cole covers SM but is surprised when Mishra is able to kick out just before the 3 count. Cole sets up SM for the Headliner. SM is able to counter into a back body drop. SM is now back on offense hitting Cole with 3 straight clotheslines. He bounces off the second rope and hits a hurricarana. SM slips to the outside and then springboards in and goes for a senton splash. Cole catches SM in a power bomb position and then moves towards the corner and bounces Mishra’s head off the turnbuckle. SM goes limp and Cole is able to nail the Headliner and cover for the three count. WINNER at 25:41 CHRIS COLE
TOMMY WILDER vs. MICROPPLAYMicroplay comes to the ring first and waits in the corner, pacing back and forth ready for action. Tommy Wilder is announced next, but there is no response. He is announced a second time, and still nothing. Finally, the referee starts the ten count, at about four, Tommy Wilder stumbles out from behind the curtain. He staggers to the ring, Tommy looks like shit. He is extremely pale and unstable, and his breathing seems very labored. Tommy pauses half way down to the ring and begins to cough, spitting up blood in the process. Microplay looks at the ref, the ref looks shocked that he is on his feet. Tommy slowly gets into the ring, waves to the fans and yells for their support, this triggers a coughing fit, and Tommy coughs up blood. His eyes roll into the back of his head and he collapses to the mat. The ref rushes over to check on him, and medical officials rush from the back. Westgaard and Capellan come to the ring too. After a few minutes Tommy Wilder is loaded onto a stretcher and taken to an awaiting ambulance. Inside the ring, Microplay raises his arms in victory and starts to leave the ring. From ringside, GM the Rick grabs a mic:
Hold on there Microplay. You don’t get a first round bye tonight. That wouldn’t be right. So the suits have ordered me to come up with a replacement. <GM the Rick looks at some notes he has in his hands, then looks toward the back> Ok, kid, this is your lucky night. Microplay tonight you will be facing OOWF newcomer – Predator!Predator makes his way to the ring and GM the Rick orders the ref to call for the bell, Microplay protests the decision but to no avail
MICROPLAY vs. PREDATORMicroplay looks very distracted with the events of the last few minutes, this gives the massive Predator time to attack from behind and send MP to the mat with clubbing forearms to the back of the head. MP slides under the bottom rope, but Predator follows him out of the ring to the floor. MP takes off at full speed, and Predator gives chase. Microplay has the speed advantage, he slides back into the ring and hits the opposite ropes, as Predator is getting into the ring, Microplay connects with a knee to the side of his head knocking the big man to the floor. Microplay waits until Predator is on his feet, then sling shots himself over the top rope landing on Predator. Unfortunately for MP, Pred catches him in mid air and rams him back first into the steel ring post. MP crumbles to the floor. Predator pulls MP to his feet, presses him over his head and throws him between the ropes back into the ring. Predator climbs back into the ring and pursues Microplay. MP gets to his feet and Pred takes him back down with a short clothesline, then drops an elbow across his chest. Predator covers but MP is able to kick out at two. Pred pulls MP up and slowly backs him into the corner Pred kicks MP in the mid section a couple of times, as a bent in half MP staggers out of the corner, MP grabs him and pulls him up for a power bomb then throws him into the corner. MP’s head whip lashes off the top turnbuckle. MP staggers out of the corner and Predator grabs him and power slams MP to the middle of the ring. Pred covers, but can only get a two count. Predator shows some rookie impatience and argues with the referee. This gives MP time to recover and get back to his knees. Predator turns around and grabs MP by the hair, MP unloads wit ha couple of shots to the mid section doubling Predator over. MP gets to his feet grabs Predator by the head and rushes to the ropes, MP leaps over the top rope and drops Predator’s throat across the top rope. Predator slingshots back into the middle of the ring. MP gets a burst of energy and climbs to the top rope and waits for Predator to get to his feet. As Predator gets up, MP soars and connects with a double axe handle. Predator stands there and staggers a bit but does not go down, MP hits the ropes and connects with an elbow right between the eyes, this sends Predator back to the ropes, but still does not knock him down. MP then bounds off the ropes again and charges at Predator, Predator lets out a war cry and catches MP pressing him above his head. MP frees himself and slides down Predator’s back and rolls him up from behind. MP grabs a hand full of tights (unseen by the referee) and puts a foot on the ropes for leverage and gets a tainted three count.
WINNER in 7:49 - Microplay
MR. JEALOUS vs. MERCURYStare down to start. Jealous isn't impressed with Mercury and shoves him. Mercury shoves him back and the two start brawling. The referee can't get between them to break up the impromptu fistfight, nearly getting decked twice in the process. Jealous backs Mercury to the corner and starts choking him with both hands, finally allowing the ref between them. Jealous steps back, then starts pounding Mercury into the corner. The ref shoves Jealous back as Mercury covers his face and neck. Jealous argues with the ref for a moment and Mercury gets back to his feet. As Jealous stomps over to heap more abuse, Mercury gets in the first shot and they start brawling all over again. Jealous takes this for a bit before tossing Mercury over his head with a belly-to-belly suplex, missing the ref by inches. Mercury is stunned for a second or two as Jealous drops an elbow on his chest, then a leg across the throat. Cover gets two, Mercury just barely getting his shoulder rolled in time. Jealous drags Mercury to his feet and tries to thread him into an ab stretch, but Mercury leverages into a hip toss and an arm bar. Crowd doesn't know WHO to cheer for as Mercury leans his knee in the back of Jealous' head, adding torque to the hold. Mercury tries to pull himself up but Jealous uses his knee to push him back down again. Mercury pushes up with the use of his free hand, causing Jealous to lose his balance! REF BUMP! Mercury uses the moment to stomp Jealous in the grapefruits and trash-talk him. He then leaps to the corner and launches for the LEAD POISONING! Jealous rolls aside and Mercury crashes and burns. Jealous rolls him over for the pin with his foot while using a free hand to wake the ref.
WINNER in 7:13 Mr. Jealous
THIM REYNOLDS vs. ATTITUDE ADJUSTERAttitude Adjuster comes to the ring with his normal entourage, Ric Flair, The Boogeyman, Ron Simmons and Jesus H. Kidneypuncher. Suspicious by his absence is Johnny Adrenaline. Thim comes to the ring next – alone. He pauses as he walks past AA’s crew and glares them all down. Before the match can start however, the ref orders all of AA’s henchmen to the back. Naturally this does not sit well with AA, but his protests fall on deaf ears. While AA argues with the referee, Thim attacks from behind and takes AA to the mat with a release German suplex. AA scrambles to his knees and begs off asking Thim for mercy. Thim grabs AA by the hair and pummels him with shots to the face, then hits the ropes and connects wit ha double boot drop kick to AA’s face that sends AA out of the ring. AA hits the floor face down and does not move. AA slowly gets to his feet and staggers a moment, Thim reaches through the ropes and grabs AA by the hair and starts to pull him into the ring. AA turns and catches Thim in the side of the head with a stiff punch. It is hard enough to stagger Thim and send him to one knee. AA seizes the opportunity and slides back into the ring and immediately hangs Thim on the ropes and chokes him. The referee gives AA the five count, and threatens the DQ, finally AA releases the hold. AA then begins raking his boot laces across Thim’s face, the referee warns him about it, and the two start arguing. The whole time AA is arguing with the referee he is still raking his laces across Thim’s face, opening a cut on Thim’s head. The ref finally notices this and threatens an immediate DQ. AA finally relents and pulls Thim up, then runs his head along the top rope. The ref warns him for this too, finally AA turns and gets into a heated argument with the referee. AA gets so involved in pointing out the flaws in the ref’s logic, is he? Yes, he is cutting a promo on the referee in the middle of the match! That, folks, is dedication – or stupidity, I am not sure which. Finally AA winds down and turns around and there stands Thim, he tries to cave in AA’s chest with an open hand palm strike that sends AA to the mat. AA hits the mat and clutches his eye and claims Thim poked him. The ref leans close to check on it, and while he is, AA kicks an approaching Thim low. AA miraculously “recovers” and rolls Thim flat on his back and drops a knee across his sternum. AA calls for the claw using the tried and true Baron von Raschke “stomp-around-the-ring-and-in-no-way-tip-off-your-opponent-on-what-is-coming” method. AA pounces on Thim and is about to slap the claw on, but Thim grabs AA’s arm and fights it. Before AA can react, Thim twists AA’s arm and sends him to the mat face first, Thim keeps hold on the arm, and rolls through, and before AA can react again, he locks on the Adjustment! AA’s eyes get huge and he desperately looks for the ropes. Thim ramps up the pressure, it looks like AA is about to wet himself. He taps furiously to save himself.
WINNER in 13:39 Thim Reynolds
CHRIS ALT vs. CONCRETE TGThe two superstars take their traditional entrances, staying out of each others way – and the crowd is eating it up! They meet in the middle of the squared circle, and Chris Alt offers Concrete a handshake – ‘Crete seems reluctant at first, but shakes and then gets ready to go. The ref calls for the bell and it’s on! ‘Crete and Alt go for a lock up, but CA ducks under, grabs a waist lock and gets Concrete to the mat. Ride by Alt, but ’Crete back to his feet, but Alt has a hammerlock. ‘Crete goes to reverse, Alt hangs on. Concrete reaches low and gets a single leg trip, and Alt pushes him off with his free foot. Alt is back to his feet, but gets knocked to the mat with a shoulder tackle. Concrete off the opposite ropes, Alt drops flat as Concrete leaps over, off the far ropes – Chris Alt goes for a leapfrog but Concrete catches him in mid leap - SPINEBUSTER! Alt Rolls for the ropes, but Concrete pulls him to his feet, and hits a delayed vertical suplex. Concrete keeps the pressure with a forearm to the head, a snap mare and a rolling neck snap. He picks Alt up, but Chris grabs the rope and forces a break. Concrete break clean, Alt shakes the cobwebs loose and moves in – lock up, Alt with a headlock, transitions to an arm bar, then to a single leg sweep. Alt keeps hold of Concrete’s leg, and dives over ‘Crete’s body, snapping the leg over and pulling the hamstring! Rolling to his feet, CA catches concrete with a basement dropkick, keeping him grounded! This theme continues, Concrete’s power against Chris Alt’s speed - Alt is absorbing a lot of punishment from Concrete, but is able to continue targeting ‘Crete’s legs and trying to keep the bigger man on the mat. Chris Alt goes for the legs once too often and Concrete blocks the leg trip, cinches CA’s waist and hurls him overhead and into a power bomb! But Concrete’s leg goes out, and he can’t follow up with a pin attempt in time to get more than a 1 count! Both men struggle to their feet, and Alt strikes first with a straight right hand. Concrete swings, ducked by Chris Alt who rebounds off the far ropes and dives for ‘Crete’s leg – but Concrete had the move read, and turns to drive a straight leg into the side of Chris Alt’s head, putting Hardbody Harris’ Best Buddy face down to the mat – the pain in the leg drops Concrete to one knee, and again, he can’t follow up. Both men struggle to their feet, look at each other – Concrete offers a handshake of his own, which Chris Alt accepts, to the delight of the crowd. The two competitors go to lock up again, and this time Concrete connects with open hand slap across the chest, knocking the air out of Chris Alt’s lungs – ‘Crete then shoves CA straight back into the corner, and hits a shoulder into the gut. He then hits another hard chest shot, and a third. Before Alt can recover, Concrete pulls him out and sets up the Backwall! But as he picks Alt up, his leg starts to go out and Alt shifts his weight reversing into a Dragon Sleeper! Concrete struggles to get to the ropes, but his leg gives out again, and Alt pulls him back to the center of the ring! The ref checks, arm drops once, twice…. But not the third time! Alt is in disbelief, and kicks Concrete’s bad leg out and then really rears back on the hold – this time Concrete taps! WINNER in 18:46 – Chris Alt!
CANADIAN DRAGON vs. STANKCanadian Dragon is in the ring first, and as Stank comes down the aisle CD sails over the top rope and hits a springboard plancha. CD jumps onto the ringside barrier and waits for Stank to get up. CD goes for a flying clothesline, but Stank catches him, and turns it into a sidewalk slam on the concrete. Stank scoops CD up and runs him spine first into the ring post. Holding on, Stank climbs the steps and drops CD over the top rope into the ring. Following him in, Stank picks CD up and tosses him into the corner. Stank gathers steam and barrels in with an avalanche that hits only turnbuckle as CD drops out of the way. Stank stumbles back out of the corner and gets rolled up for two. CD comes off the ropes with a leg drop. CD drags Stank to his feet, goes to the ropes, and hits an enziguri. CD pulls Stank to a sitting position and locks on the Dragon Sleeper. Stank thrashes around, and with his weight advantage, manages to drag CD over and reach the ropes.
CD breaks the hold, and immediately dropkicks Stank in the back of the head. CD comes off the opposite ropes and hits a dropkick to the face. CD with the cover. One…Two…Stank rolls a shoulder to escape. CD picks Stank up and attempts and Irish whip. Stank reverses, and catches CD with a power slam for two. Stank pulls CD to his feet and goes to town with rights and lefts that leave CD out on his feet. Stank backs up a couple steps and tackles CD, driving him back into the corner. As Stank tries to suplex him out of the corner, CD manages to reverse into a sunset flip attempt, but can’t pull Stank off balance. An evil grin forms on Stank’s face. He leaps…CD moves…Stank lands tailbone first on the canvas. As Stank writhes in pain, CD signals for the Dragon Sleeper, then shakes his head. He signals for – you’ve got to be kidding – the Canadian Destroyer?? CD pulls Stank up, slugging him in the head several times to keep him groggy. CD puts Stank in position and leaps. As he is pulled to a standing position, Stank puts on the brakes, grabbing CD’s legs and leaving him hanging upside down. Stank lets go of one leg and hooks CD’s arm, pulls him into position on his shoulders, and plants CD with a sick Stank-U. Stank hooks the leg. One…Two…Three.
Winner, in 18:36, Stank.
SERAPH vs. GATORBAITGator pauses at the top of the ramp and asks Wally to head to the back. Gator gets a look of grim determination on his face and heads to the ring where the as always stoic Seraph waits on him. Gator gets in the ring and the two slowly circle. The ref calls for the bell and this one is under way! Collar and elbow lock up, Gator grabs an arm wringer, Seraph rolls through it and grabs one of his own. Jacks whips Seraph to the ropes, but Seraph catches him by surprise with a Thesz press and a two count. Both men spring to their feet and lock eyes. Another lock up, Gator grabs the arm again, Seraph runs to a corner, climbs the ropes, and leaps Undertaker style dropping an elbow down on Gator’s arm. Gator gets to his feet and drops Seraph to one knee with a forearm to the side of the head. Gator hits the ropes and charges for a big boot to the face, but Seraph springs to his feet and catches Gator with a power slam. Seraph gets up, hits the ropes and drops a leg across Gator, and gets a two count. Gator kicks out easily and both men spring to their feet, Seraph tries a spinning heel kick, Gator ducks and destroys Seraph with a clothesline. Gator covers but only gets a one count. Seraph is up to one knee, this time Gator hits the ropes and connects wit ha boot to the side of the head that sends Seraph sprawling across the ring. Gator stalks Seraph, pulls him to his feet and whips him into the corner and follows him in with a clothesline. Gator whips Seraph to the opposite corner and tries another clothesline, but Seraph gets a boot up, Gator staggers out of the corner, Seraph explodes out of the corner and takes Gator down with a bulldog. Seraph quickly flips Gator over and locks on the sharpshooter. Seraph has Gator trapped in the sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Gator fights the move, but it doesn’t look like he will be able to make it to the ropes. Gator uses his leg strength to power out of the move, finally using his last bit of strength to break out of the move and send Seraph into the corner. Seraph staggers out of the corner and tries to pull Gator to his feet, Gator catches Seraph with a European uppercut that rocks him back on his heels, then sweeps his legs and locks on the HOOKED! Seraph fights the hold and will not give up. After several agonizing minutes, Seraph makes it to the ropes forcing the break. Undaunted, and feeling he has the win in his grasp, Gator pulls Seraph up and sets him up for the CHOMP!!! Gator hits the move, Seraph is DEAD!!!!Gator gets to his knees and clears some cobwebs, then points to the top rope. This is a little uncharacteristic for Gator. He gets to the top and tries a DIVE BOMB, but Seraph rolls out of the way. I thought he was dead? Seraph slowly pulls himself to his feet, as does Gator. Gator attacks, both men have to be running on fumes. Gator tries to whip Seraph to the ropes, but Seraph reverses the whip, holds on and pulls Gator back right into the PROPITATION! The back of Gator’s head slams into the canvas, Seraph falls on top of Gator, hooks both legs and gets a surprise three count.
WINNER in 25:28 - Seraph
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. OUTBACK JACKJacks are wild tonight folks, and one half of The Team from Down Under, Outback Jack, faces of with the OOWF’s Original Psycho – Moosehead Jack! The ref is liable to have his hands full on this one! MHJ and OBJ circle, then lock up collar and elbow. Moose with a headlock, shot off to the ropes by Outback Jack – MHJ comes back with clothesline, but OBJ blocks and hits an arm drag! Moose rolls back to his feet and charges, but Outback is ready and takes him down with a drop toe-hold! This time MHJ rolls out of the ring, and kicks the steps in frustration. Outback steps back into the middle of the ring, inviting Moose back for another go – another collar and elbow, Outback with a European (Australian?) uppercut, shoot and a double leg take down, rolling in into an attempted sharpshooter! MHJ kicks free and gets to his feet – and locks up for a third collar and elbow. Moosehead Jack gets the headlock, and decides that there has been enough of this “scientific wrestling”, turns his back to the ref and hits OBJ in the throat while keeping the headlock! As Outback steps away to get his breath, MHJ follows up with a kick to the back of the leg, taking Outback down! Now MHJ is in his element, stomping away on the prone OBJ. He picks the Aussie up, short-arm clothesline! Holding on to the arm , Moose picks Outback up for a DDT, but OBJ reverses in to a modified suplex, and follows that wit ha knee-drop to Moose’s head! Now it’s Outback Jack in the mount, dropping lefts and rights to the head, stopping just short of the 5 count – he pick up Moose and hits a snap suplex! Float over to a pin by OBJ, but Moose kicks out at one!
Moose is now back to his feet, and hits a quick thumb to the eye – he then grabs OBJ’s arm and looping it around Outback’s on neck hit a variation of hangman’s neck-breaker. MHJ then drops a knee to the back of OBJ’s neck, and then a second, focusing his attack. Outback tries to get some separation, but Moose stays on him, clubbing blows to the back of the head and neck, followed by a delayed neck breaker ala the Rude Awakening. For the next few minutes, Moose stay on the offensive, but Outback still has enough to keep OOWF’s Resident Sociopath at bay, and even gets the occasional takedown! Moose is starting to lose his temper, and begins to escalate the brutality, guillotining OBJ on the bottom rope, then dropping a leg from the apron across the back of OBJ’s head. Rolling back into the ring, MHJ signals for the Heart Punch! He twists Outback’s left arm, but before he can deliver, Outback wrenches the arm back around, spinning Moose around and hitting The Boomerang! The crowd erupts as OBJ follows up with a cobra clutch slam, and as MHJ starts to sit up, and hard spine kick! Staying on Moose, Outback hit a running STO, a pair of elbow drops, and then picks up Moose and sets him up for THE CHOMP? If he hits it, Moose might just be… NO! Moose shoves Outback off, but he knocks the ref down in the process! Moose charges in for an avalanche, but Outback dodges! OBJ ties to pick Moose up and put him on the top turnbuckle, but Moose blocks it, so Outback climbs up and starts delivering the 10 punch special in the corner! Crowd counts along – 1, 2, 3, 4…. Suddenly Moose picks Outback up off the middle turnbuckle, throwing the Aussie off, balance and drops him over his shoulders, hitting a variation of the Snake-eyes – ON THE TOP OF THE STEEL POST! Moose muscles Outback deadweight up into a pile driver, and covers him as the ref regains his senses for the academic pin…. WINNER in 14:37 – Moosehead Jack!
After the match OBJ gets to his feet and attacks MHJ from behind and the two brawl around the ring, through the crowd and into the back before they are finally separated by officials
CORAX vs. PHILPhil comes to the ring and waits for Corax. His music plays, but there is no Corax to be seen. After a minute or so, GM the Rick comes to the top of the ramp, now what?
GMtR: Phil, big man, I am sorry to have to do this. A few minutes ago I was informed that Corax would not be here tonight. Apparently the knee injury he suffered against Thim was exacerbated at Dance of Death and he was not cleared to wrestle tonight. So in his place you will be facing <reads from his sheet of paper, is he serious? Is this a real name? sigh. Whatever>…Nayr the Hafling Luchadore!!PHIL vs. NAYR THE HALFLING LUCHADORENayr sprints to the ring Ultimate Warrior style and rushes around the ring, bouncing off the ropes and climbing to the top in each corner. He leaps down and charges back and forth buzzing around Phil like a little gnat. Phil just gets an odd look on his face, waits for Nayr to rebound off the ropes and sticks out a massive arm, clothes lining Nayr to the mat. Nayr hits the mat hard, Phil slowly turns to Nayr and pulls him to his feet, Nayr explodes with a series of chops and kicks to Phil’s chest, they have little effect other than to exhaust Nayr. Nayr bounds off the ropes and tries a flying cross body block, Phil catches him rather easily and calmly walks over and deposits the smaller Nayr stomach first on the top turn buckle. Phil then takes a few steps back, gets a running start and punts Nayr in the midsection. The kick lifts Nayr off the top rope and sends him tumbling to the floor. Phil calmly waits in the middle of the ring for Nayr to regain his composure. Nary gets to his feet and “hulks up” on the outside. Nayr gets on the apron, does the finger point of doom at Phil, then tries a springboard attack into the ring, Phil catches him by the throat and choke slams him to the mat. It certainly appears that Phil could end this any time he chose. Phil makes a non-chalant cover, and surprisingly Nayr kicks out at two. Phil spends the next several minutes toying with Nayr, allowing him to get in little bursts of offense, but never really get the upper hand. Phil whips Nayr into the corner and tries to follow him in with a big splash, thankfully for Nayr he uses his quickness to slip out before impact and catch Phil with an enzuguri that sends Phil into the corner. Nayr dashes across the ring and charges in with a big splash, but Phil gets a boot up to Nayr’s jaw. Phil pulls Nayr to his feet and whips him to the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Nayr ducks it and bounds off the opposite ropes and connects with a high knee to the jaw, Phil falls to one knee! Nayr hits the ropes again and hits a double spin Shining Wizard! PHIL IS DOWN!!! Nayr springs to the ropes and hits the BELLOWS IN THE BREEZE!!! HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT!!!! The ref counts, one, two, thr…Phil powers out at two and looks greatly annoyed. Nayr leaps back to the top rope and leaps off the top, but Phil just swats him to the mat, Nayr slams to the mat, landing on his side and knocking the wind out of him. Phil pulls Nayr to his feet and hits a YAR-PLEX!! That’s it. For good measure Phil pulls the barely conscious Nayr to his feet and hits an UNDEAD ASTRO PLUNDER BUSTER as well! Phil covers and this one is over.
WINNER in 6:12 Phil
After the match Phil pulls a barely conscious Nayr to his feet and shakes the rookie’s hand. As soon as he lets go Nayr falls to the mat. Phil laughs and heads to the back.
UNCLE ENTITY vs. AUSTRAROO'Roo opens the match by dancing around Entity, feinting and waving his fists. He doesn't seem all that concerned about the sheer size of Entity, who paws at the hopping Roo. When Entity tries to grab Austraroo he dodges closer and kicks at Entity's legs, trying to chop him down. He ducks around the swinging Entity a few more times before mis-timing a feint and getting a mouthful of fist. Entity stomps on 'Roo a few times to get the message across, but 'Roo isn't listening. He grabs Entity's tights and pulls him toward a corner, where he stuns himself on the turnbuckle. 'Roo gets up and turns Entity around, chopping and swinging at him. FF CAPSLOCK vs. DONOVAN VIPERViper bails to the floor as the bell sounds, not wanting to throw hands with the bigger Capslock. But FFC follows to the floor and gives chase. Viper rolls back in, and Capslock spots Ayaka. FFC stalks her momentarily, but hen Viper hits the floor to save her, Capslock decks him and the brawl is on. FFC beats on Viper all over ringside, as DV sells like there’s no tomorrow. FFC dumps Viper over the rail then stalks Ayaka again. Ayaka rolls into the ring, but decides to stand up to the imposing Capslock this time. FFC flinches at her, but turns to leave the ring again. Ayaka hops on his back and tries to choke him out, but Capslock simply snap mares her OVER THE TOP ROPE to the floor! However, Viper’s back in the ring and goes low on FFC. Capslock slumps to the mat in pain, and Viper stomps the hell out of him, then chokes him out with the bottom rope. The ref breaks, but as Capslock gets to his feet, Viper runs in with a STIFF knee lift that sends FFC thru the ropes to the floor. Viper tries squeezing Capslock’s head thru the bars of the guardrail, but when he can’t do it, he simply slams the rail down onto FFC’s head. The ref pulls DV away and warns him about using the rail, and Viper moves back in for some more. To the post we go, but FFC blocks. Viper blocks a counter attempt, and goes to Capslock’s eyes to break. DV rolls FFC back in and drops a knee. Viper with a DDT, and DV holds on looking for the D-3. But Capslock blocks the second try, and backdrops Viper down. Leg drop misses, though, and Viper covers for a quick two. DV sends Capslock to the post shoulder-first, then inexplicably argues with the referee about the officiating, and the diversion allows Johnny Adrenaline to sneak down the aisle and BLAST Capslock with a golf club! FFC stumbles back toward the middle of the ring and DEATH ELBOW~! Viper with the cover, one, two, three! WINNER in 9:22: Donovan Viper
CAPELLAN vs. JOHNNY ADRENALINEBell sounds and they lock up in the middle of the ring, neither man gaining the advantage. Johnny backs Capellan to the ropes, and the ref wants a break. Clean break, but Johnny talks some trash while backing off. Another lockup, and this time, Capellan backs Johnny into a corner. Another clean break, and Capellan has some words for Johnny. Adrenaline charges, but Cap takes down with an arm drag and works move #472. Johnny to his feet, and Capellan transitions into a hammerlock. Johnny counters to his own, but Cap breaks it and snap mares Adrenaline over and looks for a body scissors. Johnny rolls out of that before Cap can cinch it in and gets a rollup for two, Capellan rolls out of it and gets his own cover for two, and Johnny rolls all the way out and tries another cover, but Cap grabs an inside cradle for a near fall. Standoff, and the crowd applauds in appreciation, to which Adrenaline tells them to "shut the fuck up." But while Johnny's taunting the crowd, Capellan gets a schoolboy rollup for another near fall. Johnny pops up and yells at the referee about having his tights pulled, and Cap gets yet another rollup, but this time Adrenaline grabs the ropes to break and rolls to the floor to regroup. Johnny walks around the ring, ignoring the obscenities from ringside fans, and halfway up the aisle before stopping to acknowledge the referee's ten count. He's up to seven, so Johnny walks back to the ring, rolls in, and right back out. Capellan follows this time and jumps Adrenaline in the aisle. Johnny to the rail hard and Cap with a snap suplex on the "steel" ramp. Capellan back in to break the count, and he waits on Johnny to get to his feet before charging for a suicide dive. But out of luck, instinct, or a little of both, Adrenaline sidesteps Capellan, who eats concrete upon landing. Johnny drags Cap to his feet and sends him to the ring steps, then sends him to the rail. Adrenaline hotshots Cap on the rail, then clotheslines him down. Johnny rolls Cap back in and measures him with a knee drop. Delayed vertical suplex by Adrenaline, but he takes his time in covering... like anybody's gonna job to a freakin' suplex anyway. Adrenaline looks for a dragon suplex, but Cap slides out of it and gets a rollup for two. Johnny takes him down with a shoulder block. Irish whip by Johnny, but he puts his head down early, and Capellan gets a sunset flip for two. Cap ducks a clothesline, then nails Johnny with a running enziguri. One, two, but Adrenaline gets a foot on the rope. Capellan sends Johnny to the corner, charges and runs up Adrenaline’s chest and flips off. Johnny goes for a clothesline, but Cap ducks again and dropkicks Johnny in the back. Spinning springboard leg drop gets two. To the corner again, and Capellan charges, but Johnny gets his foot up to block. Inverted DDT, and Johnny regains control. ADRENALINE RUSH is countered though with a guillotine on the top rope. Cap slides back in and lines up Johnny for the DRAGON KICK, but Johnny’s too close to the ropes and hits the deck, and Capellan crotches himself on the top rope. Johnny pulls him down and schoolboys him, with his feet on the ropes and gets the slightly tainted three count! WINNER in 15:10: Johnny Adrenaline
FIRECHILD vs. NILES ANDERSONRight from the bell both combatants tear into each other - it's a good job this one isn't under Onslaught rules because the ref would have thrown it out within the first ten seconds . . . fists, elbows, eye gouges, you names it. In the action both men bundle through the ropes to the floor but that doesn't do anything to stop the brawl and it's only after the ref goes to the outside and warns both men that they'll be disqualified and thrown out of the tournament and anything like order is resumed. Once back in the fury resumes but now with something approaching a wrestling match rather than a bar room brawl but the pace continues to be non stop Both men his near falls but neither is able to gain the upper-hand when out of nowhere Niles grabs Firechild and goes for the Steed-D-T but it looks like Niles has jumped the gun as Firechild hasn't finished kicking yet . . . he drives Niles backwards HARD into the turnbuckle, snapping his head back and staggering him badly. As Niles staggers away from the corner Firechild grabs him and hits the Wings of Phoenix, planting Niles next to the ropes. Firechild covers and the ref counts one (Niles lifts his foot up to catch the bottom rope but Firechild sees the move and with his free hand pushes the rope just out of the way), two, three!!!
That's got to be classed as an upset . . . your winner is, Firechild 12.19.
WINNER in 12:19 - Firechild
BLACKDRAGON vs. SIRIRAMBD and Siriram advance on each other cautiously, then tie up in the center of the ring. With these two ground style wrestlers, this could be a unique match for the OOWF. And by unique we mean, well, lots of chin locks. So we ask the crowd in advance not to do that “BORING” chant. Just go get a beer and leave these two alone. Trust us, it will be a good match. Now then, BD has backed Siriram into the corner and the ref calls for the break. BD breaks, but then launches a heavy chop to the chest of Siriram. Siriram doubles over in pain, but BD lifts him back up and delivers another resounding chop to the chest. That was loud enough the folks in the beer line turned around. I told you you’d miss a good match! BD lays in a couple more stiff shots and Siriram’s chest is bright red. In desperation, Siriram grabs a headlock. BD quickly whips him off the ropes, misses with a clothesline but leapfrogs Siriram on the way back. Another crossover and Siriram levels BD with a shoulder block. Siriram goes for the chin lock…don’t mind us, you can get the beer now, and wrenches on BD’s neck. Siriram pulls on the arm as well, then floats over to a reverse knee joint twist. (No, I don’t know what that is. I’m just making this stuff up as I go along. But trust me, BD’s in pain. See, look, he’s screaming in pain. AHHHHH!!!!!) BD gets to the ropes to break the hold. Siriram delivers a series of European uppercuts, and we get down to business in a long, technical brawl. Because there’s so many matches on this card, we fast forward 20 minutes to see a whip into the ropes that finishes with a double shoulder block that puts both men to the mat. BD is up first, kicks Siriram in the gut and tries for the DKO Drop. But Siriram pushes BD into the ropes and kicks BD in the gut. ROCKER DROPPER!!! Siriram senses victory and goes for the Red Fort, but BD escapes at the top of the lift and charges for the ropes. BD goes for a flying headscissor thing but Siriram reverses momentum. RED FORT!!!!! One, two, thr…no!!!! Siriram complains to the ref, then goes back to BD. Looks like he’s trying to tie on the CITZEN ERASED!!!. BD struggles out and into a backslide! One, two…Siriram slides out, ducks under a clothesline, grabs the arm, looks like he’s attempting the cross face! BD rolls through and pins Siriram’s shoulder to the mat for a two-count before Siriram re-reverses for another two. BD tries again for the DKO Drop but Siriram stops that in mid-move, grabs a single leg and LOCKS IN THE CITIZEN ERASED!!!! BD’s fighting it, getting closer to the ropes. Siriram see he’s losing leverage so he grabs an arm and flips BD on his back. BD struggles but can’t get out of the pin attempt. WINNER in 27:14, Siriram.

After a clean break they lock up again and SD spins to the back and gets a double leg takedown on JW to prove he has the speed advantage. Both men back to center and they slap hands before going at it. Back & forth they go with neither man gaining the momentum. JW is trying clotheslines, fists, and forearms while SD is sticking with chops, kicks, and elbows. Both men are bounces off the ropes, crisscrossing, and ducking the others moves until JW lands a crosscheck which sends SD to the outside. JW rolls out to meet him and is finally able to gain the advantage. JW lands some chops to the chest and then hits a side slam. He rolls back into the ring breaking the count. On his way back to SD, JW is caught in a drop toe hold that sends him into the steel steps. Now SD is in control firing chop after chop into JW’s chest. SD & JW roll back into the ring. SD whips JW into the ropes and nails the School of Dragons on the rebound. He goes for the cover but JW kicks out after 2. SD peppers is a few chops but JW stops the rally with a knee to the midsection. JW Irish whips SD into the corner and follows with a running clothesline. JW covers for a 2 count. JW sets up for another crosscheck but SD learned from the first time. He dodges this attempt and lands a quick German suplex. JW stumbles to his feet and right into an Omendriver. SD covers but JW gets his foot on the rope. SD is back up and chops at JW once again. Northern Lights suplex by SD gets a 2 count. SD back on offense and hits a triple German combo. SD goes to the top rope once again. JW is able to get to his knees and dives at the rope which causes SD to fall on the turnbuckle. SD is hanging limply on the turnbuckle allowing JW to lock him up and deliver the Ice Auger. JW covers for the 3 count and advances to the next round.

Non-Tournament Matches[/u]
JOSH O’NEAL vs. ERIC O’MAC – Non-Title MatchJO shows off to the crowd and EOM attacks from behind. EOM kicks and stomps away at him in the corner and chokes him until the ref admonishes him. JO recovers and pulls EOM into an evil ass over head suplex into the turnbuckles. It’s all JO from here as he destroys EOM with a pair of corner clotheslines, a delayed vertical suplex that gets 2, and a running power slam that also only gets two. He pounds away at EOM until EOM thumbs both eyes and hits a shoulder block to the knee. Ref gives him a warning for the eye poke and EOM mocks him before working the knee a little back. He attempts a leg lace, but JO over powers him and sends him crashing into the turnbuckles. JO rushes into a pair of boots and EOM snaps off a head scissors. Flipping leg drop to the back of the head get him a 2 and he tries to maintain an edge but JO catches a kick and pulls him into a spine buster. JO says that’s it and attempts the Modified F-5. EOM is able to wiggle free and drop the bigger man with a Lung Blower for 2. EOM follows up with a two footed stomp to the back. JO is slow to his feet and EOM tags him in the back with a pair of nice kicks before attempting another Lung Blower, but JO blocks it by grabbing the ropes and slinging EOM over his shoulder and out of the ring. EOM lands roughly on the outside and JON tries to pursue, but the ref holds him back. JO yells at EOM to get back in the ring, but EOM says screw this and keeps walking towards the back, earning the count out loss.
WINNER by count out in 5:49 Josh O’Neal
LD WILLIAMS vs. TOMMY O’NEIL – Taped Fist Match for the Intercontinental TitleThe fists are taped and this match is on. Both guys throw experimental punches. LDW gets clipped a couple of times with no serious damage before realizing that this is still as wrestling match. He shoots through TO’s guard and runs him into the corner. A couple of punches to the rib are followed by a fall away drop kick. TO slumps to the mat and LDW pounces him and tries to beat him into submission, but TO is able to kick free and they circle one another. After a few teased lock ups, TO kicks LDW in the knee and LDW just gets his hand up in time to block Wicked Left Hook. He does get dazed with the uppercut and staggers backwards. TO mauls him, but LDW goes low and fires back with a few jabs and crosses of his own and finishes off with a knee to the jaw. Before TO can fall, LDW whips him around into a release German suplex. The count is on, but TO pulls himself up at 8. Lip bloodied, he attacks LDW with renewed fury, connecting with some solid body shots, but only glancing blows to the head. LDW lands some good shots as well, but other than bloody lips, neither is showing much damage. LDW avoids a punch and slips in a sleeper, but the lax rules allow TO to mule kick him in the nuts. LDW bails and TO follows. They brawl on the outside for a minute until LDW hits TO with a DDT on the floor. The count is on, but TO is up and back in the ring at 9. LDW drop kicks the knee, then hits a nice right cross to the side of the head while still on his knees. TO stumbles, but kicks out before falling and connects with LDW’s head. Both men down, but TO is up first at six and waits for LDW to stagger to his feet. They go toe to toe and both are bleeding just above their eyes. TO takes a moment to clear the scarlet haze from his eyes, and LDW nails him with a clothesline and mounted punches. TO creates some space with some forearm shots and a nice punch to the chin that rocks LDW. TO waist for LDW and feigns with the left, which LDW predictably blocks and then nails LDW with a rib breaking body hook that shatters his guard and enables TO to slip in the Wicked Left. LDW falls to the canvas as if hit with a shot gun blast. Remarkably, he’s up at 8 and TO is too astonished. TO wastes no time and peppers LDW with a couple of jabs and goes for the Wicked Left Hook one last time. LDW hooks his arm around TO’s, head butts him three times, hits the DDT and chokes him out. The ref pulls him off and gives the count. TO stirs at seven, and LDW eyes him warily, but TO can’t quite get to his feet before ten.
