Trained by: Al Snow and D’Lo Brown
Years Active: 1997 to 2007, retired, came out of retirement 2017
Bio: Jack Bullens, real name, was an athletic kid who played every sport you could in high school. Immediately after graduation he joined the U.S. Army. He served during Operation Desert Storm and was honorably discharged in 1993 after a four year stint. He started college classes on the G.I. Bill at the Ohio State University to become a physical trainer. At the same time, he trained to be a wrestler at Body Slammers wrestling school in Lima, ran by Al Snow and D’Lo Brown. Bullens had always liked watching professional wrestling as a kid and decided to join the school on a whim, but he showed natural talent and very much emulated his childhood hero, Ricky Steamboat. Bullens wrestled for several independent promotions across the Midwest for the better part of 10 years while also working as a personal trainer at various gyms in the Ohio area. In 2007, Bullens realized his dream of buying his own gym back in his native Des Moines. A recent bitter divorce saw Bullens losing the gym to his ex-wife. Middle aged crazy and not knowing what to do, Bullens decided to return to the ring. If he’s lost a step due to age, he figures it’s a step nobody else had anyway. Bullens can be overly confident and cocky at time, but he always has a smile on his face and he always plays by the rules. He lives for the fans and will go out of his way to sign autographs and pose for pictures. If a wrestler needs help, he’ll be the first one out of the locker room. Fool him once, shame on you, fool him twice, you’re a dead man.
