Ring style:-
Think Chris Jericho, except more intense and always Kurt Angle crisp in his execution - unless he loses his temper and then he sometimes makes mistakes. Absolutely LOVES going hardcore, and in general his style is a take-no-prisoners intense style, although now and again he likes to show of his solid technical skills - usually when wrestling friends.
Bio:-
Firechild entered the OOWF and immeidtaley made enemies of the 3 Piece Set, the reigning tag team champions - and his issue with them eventually resulted in him saving their tag titles by attacking them during a title defense. This however turned out to be 'a set up all along' as Firechild joined the set, propelling him to a victory in the tournament to crown the first EVER OOWF Onslaught Champion. Despite being a rulebreaker, Firechild flourished in the 'pure' division, contesting classic matches with fellow newcomers like Capellan and Thim Reynolds. Firechild continued to assist the rest of the 3 Piece Set in their ongoing war with Drink & Destroy - regaining the tag team titles when teaming with Cole (thanks to the 3PS 'Freebird' rule.)
Firechild got sidetracked intp a feud with pious newcomer Seraph - who cost him his Onslaught title in an epic tussle with Capellan (I think...) as he tried to mend the villainous Firechild's ways.
Firechild ended up becoming Seraph's pupil as the Preacher tried to mend his ways. This, again was a set up all along, as Firechild turned on Seraph in a tag match against the 3 Piece Set and following a hellacious beating, nailed him to a crucifix and set him on fire.
However Seraph would not stay down and returned to the OOWF to wreak Propitiation on Firechild, leading to the brutal Hells Gate match (Inferno Hell in a Cell matchj) where Seraph triumphed against Firechild.
Following this loss, Firechild lost moivation and spun weheels for months, as Ax-Man left the 3 Piece Set to be replaced by former fan favourites 'Altrageous' Chris Alt and Hollywood Hardbody Harris. Retaking the Onslaught title from Thim Reynolds renwed Firechild's vigour, but losing the coveted belt to newcomer Spin Hansen affected his confidence - and standing in the set with OOWF Champion Cole. Eventually Firechild was sold out by the 3 Piece Set to placate Moosehead Jack and Thim Reynolds for Firechild taking the Onslaught title, gaining Moose's tacit support for Cole's reign as champion.
Firechild returned as a sympathitic babyface, abd eventually convinced the uber-face Concrete Takaken Gryffon to take him under his wing as part of the Heroes Guild, originally set up to combat villainy in the OOWF, best personified by the 3PS and Moosehead Jack.
Firechild first targeted 'Altrageous' Chris Alt in a best of seven series, eventually prevailing despite heel tactics by Alt designed to disable him. With the 3PS disintegrating, Firechild was denied his immediate revenge but rallied by briefly holding the Intercontinental title, while helping Concrete Takaken Gryffon in his quest to dethrone the evil Underdawg as OOWF champion. Concrete was succesful, and Firechild assisted him as best he could during this reign - although his integrity as a member of the Guild was repeatedly called into question due to his heelish past as the revitalised Drink & Destroy rose to challenge the Guild. Eventually, Concrete was dethroned by Stank and the Heroes Guild unravelled, leaving Firechild treading water again, until crossing horns with F. Fonzworth Cappington III and discovering the Cappington may well have been resposible for his father's death. This lead to a brief, brutal feud culminating in Firechild losing a crucial ladder match, resulting in him becoming MacCappington's slave. Eventually, former tag team partner, 'the Main Event' Chris Cole, deciding whatever had passed between them, he couldn't abide Firechild's servitude, got into MacCappington's head - and at the potential loss of his own autonomy, fought for Firechild's freedom in a Invitational tournament match against MacCappington, and won.
Now Firechild is his own man again, and is showing some of his old fire. Be sure of one thing, his vengeance will be bloody and his rise will be Phoenix like....
Don't say I didn't warn you.
