Physical Description:
Closely cut blonde-hair either almost completely shaved or a short, messy look. Always looks scruffy, but in the way where it costs a ton. It's paying stylists to make you look like you don't care about your look. 4 or 5 tattoos on various parts of the body, all chinese/tribal type designs.
Attire:
Outside the ring it's very expensive & stylish. A. Darling knows he has money and he dresses the part. Not suits or tuxes, but expensive designer clothes. Almost always wears sunglasses. Inside the ring, it's the basics-black and white trunks with his name down the legs. Has his own T-Shirt, the front has a $ symbol with his catchphrase, BOOYAH, Bitch. The Back has his nickname, “The Darling of Professional Wrestling.”
Entrance Music:
As his music starts a white strobe light begins to bounce through the arena and the first thing we hear is ”There Can Be Only One.” That leads directly into ”Prelude 12/21.” The drum beat of Prelude hits and Darling takes a step onto the ramp. He doesn’t move until it finishes and a blue spotlight focuses on him and ”Princes of the Universe.”
Moveset:
Pin Finisher:
A Cutthroat Driver which is an inverted DVD using the guys own hand across the throat. Darling calls this the Darling Driver.
Alternate Finishers:
"The Deal Breaker", which is a top-rope, Cop-Killer; or he’ll use an Emerald Frosion is the match is big-time; also been known to use the Crucifix Bomb in lesser matches.
Submission Finisher:
Darling has 3 submission finishers that he varies between; The Darling Vice (The Anaconda Vice)-taught to him by CM Punk during his training at the ROH School; Death by Darling (The Haas of Pain)-taught to him by Charlie Haas during one of Haas’ WWE sabbaticals; and The Darling Money Clip (The Texas Cloverleaf)-used on high-flyers to ground them.
Signature Moves:
STF, Sharpshooter, Tazmission, Curbstomp, Brainbusta, and just an indy-fans wet dream of head drops and mat-work. It took him a long time to come around to the high-impact stuff which is why he has such a disdain for fans.
Style(old school, technician, brawler, etc.):
Technician through and through but a stiff/strong-style moveset. He can take it to the air on occassion, nothing too fancy, a moonsault and 450 being in the arsenal. Once in a blue moon, he'll throw out a SSP, but it's rare. He doesn't really like to brawl and will shy away from getting bloody, but in a blood feud, he'd be vicious.
