OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Springfield, Alabama
FEAR US vs. POOR UNFORTUNATE LOCAL WORKERSThe two members of Poor Unfortunate Local Workers who spoke to THE Amnesiac earlier in the week make their way slowly to the ring. They look worried, but determined. Their determination waivers, however, as Bad to the Bone begins to play and Fear Us step onto the stage, accompanied by Wally B King and – say a prayer for the poor boys – L.D. Williams’ Mother. Fear Us pause on the stage for a moment as Outback Jack finishes a last pre-match beer, then storm the ring. The PULW attempt to bail, and the red-haired one gets away, but the blonde is caught by OBJ, who hits a couple European uppercuts and slings him to the ropes for a power slam as referee Junior Hale calls for the bell.
OBJ bounces to his feet and stomps on blonde guy, then drags him to the FU corner and makes the tag. LD comes in and they pummel blonde guy in the corner. They throw him to the ropes and plant him with a flapjack. LD scrapes him off the mat and hits a snap suplex, then goes to the ropes and drives a knee into his temple. LD picks blonde guy up and tosses him to the PULW corner, where redhead guy reluctantly tags himself in.
LD and redhead guy lock up, and LD drives a knee into his stomach, followed by a gut wrench suplex. Redhead guy rolls to his feet and LD waist locks him from behind, tossing him into the FU corner with a release German suplex. Redhead guy ends up sitting against the turnbuckles and LD pastes him with a running knee and tags in OBJ.
OBJ pulls redhead guy to his feet, spins him around and waves to Wally who throws him something. It’s a Phantos mask, which OBJ crams onto the unfortunate worker’s head before clubbing him to the mat. OBJ makes the tag and grabs redhead guy’s legs as LD waves the camera closer.
LD: “We call this the International Death Sentence, And boys, THIS, is a statement!”
As OBJ lifts pseudo-Phantos in a wheelbarrow suplex, LD springboards off the top rope – and kills him with a Canadian Destroyer! OBJ rolls out of the ring as LD falls on the dead man for the win.
WINNERS, in 4:07, Fear Us
After the match: Blonde guy attempts to bail on his partner, but LD’s Mother snags him as he goes by. She holds him in place while Wally puts a Lucios mask on his head, then stuffs him into the ring. OBJ helps him to his feet and hands him a beer. As he struggles to lift the mask to drink it, OBJ and LD hit the ropes on opposite sides of the ring – Call of the Wild! Blonde guy does a 360 and the beer flies into the air. LD rolls to his feet, catches it, pops the top and drains it as EMTs flood the ring to help the wounded blonde guy and his late partner. Fear Us start up the aisle, and are met by Scheme Gene.
SG: “Gentlemen, Please! What was the meaning of that senseless attack? You had no reason to use the Call of the Wild after the match!”
OBJ: “Gene, that isn’t the Call of the Wild anymore, that’s the Debt Collection, and from now on two things are true in the OOWF – Your debt will be collected and you will-”
LD: “FEAR US!”
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. TYSON KINCAIDTyson Kincaid makes his way to the ring first, he looks a little shaky, and his eyes keep darting around the arena like he is looking for someone, or expecting something. He steps between the ropes and heads to a corner and appears to dig for something in his tights. Kincaid has a small bottle in his hand, and he stares at it for a moment, but then is shocked back into reality when “Scarecrow” starts over the announce system. Moose makes his way to the ring, ignoring the boos of the crowd, instead keeping his eyes focused completely on Kincaid. Moose slithers into the ring and sits in the corner, never removing his gaze from Kincaid. Kincaid slips the bottle back into his tights and walks to the center of the ring. The referee calls for the bell and Kincaid looks ready to go, but Moose doesn’t move out of the corner. Kincaid yells for Moose to get to his feet, but once again Moose doesn’t move. Finally Kincaid turns to the referee and asks him to do something, when he looks away, Moose pulls himself to his feet and charges out of the corner and strikes, catching Kincaid with a forearm to the side of the head that sends him to one knee. Moose hits the ropes and rebounds with a kick to the face that sends Kincaid down. Moose stands over Kincaid and yells for him to get to his feet. Kincaid grabs Moose and uses him to pulls himself up, and just before he can get to his feet, Moose hammers him with a shot to the face that sends him back to the mat. Moose snarls and pulls Kincaid up and throws him into the corner, then charges in, but Kincaid steps between the ropes and Moose slams sternum first into the corner. Moose staggers back and Kincaid springs to the top rope, then leaps and takes Moose off his feet with a clothesline. Moose and Kincaid both pop to their feet quickly, and Moose charges, but Kincaid catches him with a pendulum back breaker, then covers for a two count. Tyson pulls Moose up and rocks him with a couple of European uppercuts backing him against the ropes, then whips him across the ring and tries a clothesline, but Moose ducks, then drops down and slides out of the ring and taunts Kincaid to follow him. Kincaid charges after Moose and leaps between the ropes, Kincaid swings wildly and Moose easily ducks, then catches Kincaid with a boot to the gut, and DROPS him on the cement floor with a DDT! Moose sits next to a barely conscious Kincaid and just stares down at him as the referee starts the count. Once the referee is at seven, Moose rolls under the bottom rope and breaks the count, then pulls Kincaid to his feet and rolls him into the ring. Kincaid is slowly stirring and struggles to his feet, not realizing that Moose is right behind him. As Kincaid turns around, Moose HAMMERS him with a heart punch that makes Kincaid’s knees buckle but he does not go down. Moose grabs Kincaid and sends him to the corner, but Kincaid springs to the second rope and tries a cross body block, but Moose ducks and Kincaid crashes into the mat. Before Kincaid can recover, Moose pounces on him and locks him in the ji-endo! Kincaid struggles, but is caught in the center of the ring where there is no escape. After fighting if for as long as he can, Kincaid goes limp and the referee calls for the bell.
WINNER in 16:11 – Moosehead Jack
After the match, Moose stands over Kincaid who slowly moves so he is sitting on the mat. Kincaid looks up at Moose and slowly scoots back to the corner expecting an attack. Much to his surprise, Moose holds out his hand offering to help Kincaid to his feet. Kincaid just stares at Moose blankly while the crowd boos the gesture. Kincaid falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring. Now it is his turn to walk around the ring, never once taking his eyes off of Moose. Inside the ring Moose just stares at Kincaid as he leaves. Kincaid turns and heads up the aisle reaching into his tights and pulling out a small bottle, looking at it seems to confirm something for Kincaid, and he makes his way up the ramp and to the back a little faster.
<Firewoman comes out of her locker room and heads down the hall for her match when she rounds the corner and suddenly stops>
FW: What are you doing here?
Voice: Why wouldn’t I be here?
FW: I though Rick banned people from other companies
V: Not as far as I know, just Jericho. Besides, I am not with Vince anymore
<the camera pans around and we see Lance Storm standing there>
FW: Whatever, I have a match. You might want to go babysit Kincaid though
Storm: Kincaid doesn’t need a baby sitter, though, he could use some support……
FW: Forget it. I held his hand long enough. He’s your problem now Storm.
<Fire walks away and leaves Storm staring>FIREWOMAN vs. CONCRETE TG“With Jupiter in Mind” starts up on the PA and the Springfield crowd responds by getting to their feet and giving a loud ovation to Concrete TG, who appears at the top of the ramp. The masked hero takes his time getting down the ramp, shaking hands, giving high fives and signing autographs for the kids before rolling into the ring and posing, soaking in the cheers. He then makes a “watch this” signal to the crowd and points to the Jumbotron.
shows up on the Jumbotron as Firewoman appears on the top of the ramp. Crete apparently thinks this is hilarious, as does half the crowd. The other half just appears just confused or angry. Apparently Rick and Crete have found another way to enrage Firewoman, and she is about 50 ways worth of pissed off. She flies up the ramp while Crete is doubled over in laughter and jus ASSAULTS Crete with straight right hands. That’s good enough for Angelo Barros, who calls for the bell…WE’RE UNDERWAY!
Firewoman is unleashing a profanity-laced tirade as she continues to beat down on Crete. Finally Crete regains his bearings and shrugs Fire off, but the damage is done; there’s blood leaking from the nose part of his mask. Fire is quickly back up, and locks on a Fujiwara Arm bar on Crete before he can get up. Crete’s in a bad way, and may be re-thinking his shenanigans. Barros checks on Crete, who manages to drag himself to the ropes, and Fire breaks the hold on 4.999999. Fire takes one step backward and hits a BASEMENT DROPCKICK in Crete’s mug, which sends the hero out to the floor. Fire takes a second to flip off the crowd, before trying for a TOPE CON HILO on Crete, but somehow, Crete manages to catch Fire in mid-air, and turn it into a SPINNING POWERBOMB ON THE FLOOR! Crete tries to shake the cobwebs out, and Barros starts a count.
Both are up at 7, but Crete finds a reserve of energy from somewhere and SPEARS Fire out of her boots and into the STEEL STEPS, splaying them everywhere. Fire is DONE. Just to make sure though, Crete takes the bottom half of the STAIRS and drills Fire with them a couple times before tossing the STAIRS on top of her. Crete rolls back into the ring and instructs Barros to count, and he obliges. Crete looks for a moment and then goes back to the ring to play to all his adoring fans. Crete HEARS “9”, and raises his arms in victory; but doesn’t see a SERIOUSLY pissed off Firewoman; who hits a SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF CRETE’S HEAD! That knocked Crete LOOPY. Fire hooks Crete’s legs together…what is she doing? Uh-oh. She holds Crete in a Surfboard Position….DEA CURBSTOMP! Ouch.
Fire signals to the crowd as she climbs the ropes. She faces away from the ring and tries for the BEST. FIRESAULT. EVER. She NAILS it, and that will be all for Crete tonight.
WINNER in 9:14 by PINFALL…FIREWOMAN!
OOWF Invitational Tag Team Tournament Semi-FinalsTHE CHICKENSHIT HEELS vs. DRINK & DESTROYIt’s supposed to be time for one of the semifinals in the Tag Team Invitational as a classic rivalry in OOWF history is renewed. Stank and FF Capslock, the original Drink & Destroy have made it this far just to face their most hated of enemies in Johnny Adrenaline and Alan “Attitude Adjuster” Capps, more commonly known as The Chickenshit Heels. That match is supposed to start right now, but we’re getting word of a situation in the Destroyatorium. Let’s head back…
The camera fades in on Stank, Capslock, Adrenaline, and Attitude sitting around a table drinking together…
Johnny: It’s like I was telling Solly, I’ve always been a Tampa fan.Attitude: Johnny???Johnny: No, it’s me Mike.Stank: I think you’re supposed to be in character Mike, we have a match that is supposed to start like right now.Mike: Fuck that, it’s game 1 of the World Series. Besides Spot, don’t you have some more campaigning to do for Barack?FF: …Attitude: Why hasn’t FF said anything?Blown Spot: No internet yet…it’s really hurting our reunion.Mike: So, what’s the point of this match if we can’t even do it to the best of our abilities. I mean have you see AA’s promos the last few days. They’ve sucked.Attitude: [i}HEY….[/i]
Blown: He’s got a point.Attitude: I know, but still…it’s better than some of these guys. I mean we got Raven wannabes and the As Run DEA Turns soap opera. We can be working at half our potential and we’ve still got feud of the year locked up.Mike: That may be, but we can and should do better.Blown Spot: What do you have in mind?Suddenly the door to the Destroyatoirum slams open and Kayfabe is standing there point a finger at everyone and looking really fucking pissed off. All four guys bow their heads as if they regret what they were doing. Then Mike gets a smile on his face and tosses the table out of the way spilling all of the beer and Mike’s Hard Lemonades.
Blown Spot: Tell me you did not just waste beer.FF: And Hard Lemonade??? What the fuck is this gay shit?Donovan Viper: I’M NOT A HOMO!!!Johnny: Yes you are.Everyone: SHUT THE FUCK UP, JOHNNYJohnny doesn’t like that and he launches himself at Stank and Attitude shrugs before following his partner’s lead and launching himself at Capslock. All of a sudden all four men are brawling in the Destroyatoirum and Kayfabe seems to accept this as apology enough and leaves. The brawl continues as tables get tossed around, bottles get thrown, and chairs get broken over peoples’ backs. The brawl continues as they finally exit the bar and they slowly make their way all over the arena using everything they come across as a weapon. Finally they brawl right out onto the entranceway as Stank picks Johnny high up in the air and tosses him into the first couple of rows of seats.
Meanwhile FF has brawled with Attitude and suddenly Poe’s elevator entrance starts to rise and we see FF toss AA onto the stage. He quickly grabs him by the tights and rolls him down the ramp and the smart-ass fans in the first few rows act as if an earthquake is hitting with each tumble of AA. FF and Stank meet up and begin to stalk Attitude as he crawls away from them and somehow miraculously makes it into the ring. As soon as Stank gets in the ring, Angelo Barros calls for the bell and shockingly we’re finally underway here.
AA slowly crawls up the ropes and gets to his feet and he turns around right into a collar-and-elbow tie-up from Stank. Seriously. A lock-up. Now. After all the brawling, Stank is going to start the actual match with a legit wrestling move. Ah, that’s better, Capslock is already in the ring and pounding on AA with hard, clubbing blows. Barros is trying to get him out of the ring and as he turns around, he doesn’t see Stank hit Johnny low. This is the D&D that fans came to love in their original feud with TCH.
Stank and FF take their time working over AA, but it seems like they’ve taken too long because one time that FF goes to make the tag to Stank and there’s no one home as Johnny Adrenaline is back and he’s pulled Stank off the apron. He gets up onto the apron and snaps FF’s neck across it. FF staggers back and AA is able to hit a death drop. He makes the cover…
1…
2…
FF rolls a shoulder.
Johnny makes it around to his corner and AA is able to make the tag. Adrenaline is in and now it’s classic old-school Chickenshit Heels as they’ve isolated FF on their half of the ring even as Stank pleads with his partner to make it across for the tag. But Johnny and Alan are not letting Capslock anywhere near Stank as they’re putting on a tag-team exhibition. JA tags in AA and now the double-teaming begins as TCH get the big man up in the air and SLINGSHOT SUPLEX. Barros gets JA out of the ring as AA makes another cover…
1…
2…
Stank in to break up the count.
JA in as well and we have a donnybrook brewing as all four men are brawling. Barros is trying to keep control but these 4 men are big and really don’t like each other. Stank catches JA running in with a big boot to the face and then he drags AA up by the hair and showing a great deal of strength gets him for an inverted suplex. Stank leans down to help FF up to his feet when a running bulldog from JA catches him and both men wind up rolling to the outside.
Inside the ring AA and FF are back on their feet and slugging it out trading lefts and rights and really giving it to each other. Capslock gets behind AA and showing his power picks him and hits a nice German Suplex but doesn’t let go. He rolls the big AA over and hits a second German, which really rattles the ring. He’s going for a third, but that’s abruptly halted when Johnny places a chair right in the middle of FF’s back. Just as Barros is about to call for the DQ, Stank is in and blasts Johnny right in the head with a chair shot of his own. Johnny is down, FF is staggered, and now Stank goes down when AA hits him where the sun don’t shine with a low blow.
All four men are down on the mat and still continuing to punch each other when the opportunity arises and Barros has had enough realizing these four men will never let this match reach a legit finish. He calls for the bell and explains that he’s had enough of Drink & Destroy and The Chickenshit Heels and is ruling this match a No Contest.
It doesn’t seem to affect either team though as all four men roll out of the ring and continue to brawl back into the locker room areas.
WINNERS in 9:32…NO CONTEST
GODS & MONSTERS vs. IHOPThis has suddenly become the finals of the 2008 OOWF Invitational tag team tournament thanks to the double disqualification between The Chickenshit Heels and Drink & Destroy. SYB stars us off with Tytan. Collar and elbow tie up, and SYB locks in a headlock. He looks up, quite surprised at first, and then smiles broadly. On cue, Tytan hurls him into the ropes and levels SYB with a shoulder block. Tytan hits the ropes and catches SYB with a second shoulder as he gets to his feet. SYB topples to the mat and rolls to the outside. IHOP congregates on the floor, and Poe comes running around from the other side of the ring and blasts Skurge from behind, sending the Canadian into and over the ringside barrier. SYB screams and rushes into the ring, where Tytan greets him with a huge boot to the face. SYB flops to the mat and gets a mighty leg drop from Tytan. Poe gets the tag in and stalks SYB as he gets back to his feet. From behind, Poe nails a belly to back suplex that sends SYB bouncing into his own corner. Skurge has made it back to his sentry and tags himself in.
Skurge and Poe lock up. Poe gets backed into a corner, and Skurge makes a clean break. Poe takes a swing at Skurge, who blocks it and retaliates with a kick to the gut. Poe stumbles forward and receives several brutal sounding forearm smashes to the back and then an old school knee lift. As Poe recoils, Skurge tries to take his head off with a clothesline. Tytan rushes in and eats a clothesline of his own. SYB climbs to the top turnbuckle and delivers a Chavo-esque frog splash onto Tytan. IHOP celebrates and tries to fire the crowd up, but the crowd doesn’t appreciate their efforts and tries to jeer them out of the building.
Poe gets to his feet and catches a big boot attempt from Skurge. Poe spins him around and nails Skurge with a kick of his own. Poe drags Skurge to his feet quickly and delivers a huge body slam that rattles the ring ropes. SYB scurries in and chop blocks Poe from behind. Tytan runs in and chases SYB out of the ring. Skurge gets to his feet and begins to work on the leg of Poe. Spinning toe hold. Elbow smash and drops into a grapevine of the knee, and proceeds to just pound on the leg of the big Egyptian. Skurge gets to his feet, only to lock in a Sharpshooter.
Skurge squats low and leans into the move. Poe is struggling for the ropes, but seems destined to come up short. SYB is beside himself on the apron, screaming at the referee that Poe is tapping as he reaches in vain for the rope. Selena runs around the G&M corner and begins screaming at Skurge. She appears to reach into her pocket for an Unidentified International Object. Ms. Mantooth sees the potential distraction and comes over to run interference. The referee begins to yell at both women to leave ringside. Titan uses the distraction to charge in. SYB rushes in and tries to stop Tytan, but gets flattened. Tytan kicks Skurge in the back of the head and sends him tumbling through the ropes to the floor. SYB is up and spins Tytan around. JERSEY TURNPIKE! DDT! And SYB covers, but the referee is on his game and sends him out of the ring. Poe struggles to his feet as Skurge crawls back into the ring. Skurge and Poe lock up, and Poe reverses an Irish whip and sends Skurge into the ropes, where SYB tags himself in. Poe catches the rebounding Skurge and picks him up for a body slam, but his leg gives way and Skurge lands on Poe in a pinning position. SYB had already taken flight and has no way to stop crashing onto his own partner with a really nice Whisper in the Wind. Poe emerges from the bottom of the IHOP pile and catches a charging SYB with a snap power slam. That is good for the 1…2…3!
WINNERS; in 14:53 and the 2008 OOWF Invitational Tag Team Tournament Winners - Gods & Monsters
SEAMUS MCNASTY vs. ALEXANDER DARLING – OOWF Onslaught Championship MathCollar and elbow tie-up to begin things, and Seamus backs Darling to a corner and Alex wants a break and gets it. They go again, same deal. Darling’s getting frustrated, and they lock up a third time, but this time Darling uses the hair and gets a headlock. Belly to back suplex drops Darling in a hurry, and Seamus drops elbow after elbow on Darling, as AD rolls to the floor. Back in, and Darling gets a quick crucifix rollup for two, ducks a clothesline and gets a nice German suplex, then stops to jaw at a ringside fan. Alex turns right around into a deep arm drag. Darling to his feet and rolls out of it, but Seamus takes his head off with a short clothesline. Big suplex, but Seamus misses a leg drop, and Darling goes after the leg. Figure four is blocked, but a heel hook is not. Seamus uses the free leg to kick himself free, but Darling stays on the assault. Alex jerks the leg a few times, then stomps the knee. Seamus powers out of a half crab attempt, but just when he gets to his feet, Alex dropkicks the knee, and Seamus goes down again. Darling’s doing a good job of neutralizing the bigger man thus far. Second rope knee drop to the knee, and he does get the figure four this time. Seamus uses his strength to reverse it, but Darling wisely lets the hold go. However, when he comes back in again, Seamus catches him with a drop toehold, but he can’t quite slap the IRISH CAR BOMB on before Darling grabs the ropes in desperation. Seamus tries to shake some feeling back into the leg… by kicking the crap out of Darling. Alex fights to his feet, but a right hand is blocked, and Seamus backs him back to the corner with some forearms, then launches him across the ring with an Irish Whip, and Darling takes the Bret Hart sternum first bump. Pump handle slam gets a two count. Oklahoma slam also gets two. Darling’s going on nothing but instinct, and Seamus smells it. BLACK AND TAN is blocked however as Darling grabs the ropes, and then gets a blatant low blow behind the ref’s back. DEATH BY DARLING~! But Seamus has too much reach and is able to grab the ropes to break. Darling drags him out to the middle of the ring, but Seamus was playing possum and surprises him with an inside cradle and gets the THREE COUNT!
WINNER in 14:08 and still ONSLAUIGHT CHAMPION: SEAMUS McNASTY
PHANTOS & LUCIOS vs. ERIC O’MAC & CHRIS COLE – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchMel Creech is YOUR referee!
Phantos and Lucios walk down first, seeing fans waving Dasani bottles at them. Cole and Eric out next, the crowd giving them about the same level of disdain. Mel shows off the title belts and calls for the bell.
Phantos and Eric start. The two circle a couple of times before locking up. There's a short struggle, then Eric shoves Phantos down, who rolls to a kneel. Eric poses a bit before turning back to Phantos and they lock up again. This time Phantos has the advantage and he shoves Eric, who rolls toward his corner. Phantos mocks Eric's poses and the crowd laughs. Eric storms toward Phantos who happily tags his partner in. Eric backs up a little as the larger Lucios enters. Eric turns to dive but Lucios catches a foot and drags poor Eric to the middle of the ring. He slings Eric to the ropes, vaulting him skyward on the rebound to let him land on his face. He stomps on Eric some, drawing Mel's attention, but Lucios keeps a foot on Eric's back while disputing his cheating. Eric flails and Cole protests from his corner, so when Mel goes to talk to Cole, Lucios drags Eric to the corner. Both P&L make a loud clapping sound and swap out. Mel turns back around and asks if that was one or two tags(in sarcasm). Phantos says one, Lucios says "dos", Mel shakes his head. P&L switch out, Tag, then switch again. Mel nods and tells em "if you're gonna cheat, at least keep your story straight". Phantos slings Eric - reversed - an Cole YANKS the top rope down, sending Phantos to the floor. Mel admonishes Cole as Eric pounces Phantos with a NO-HANDS SOMERSAULT PLANCHA SUICIDA ON PHANTOS! Crowd erupts in a "Holy shit!" chant as the two untangle themselves on the floor. Lucios and Cole hop down from their respective corners but Cole gets to the prone pair first, stomping on Phantos as Eric gets his bearings. Lucios rounds the corner and CLOTHESLINES EM BOTH OUT OF THEIR BOOTS! Mel is watching this with bemused interest. Mel starts his half-hearted ten count ("hey, while you're down there, one of you guys get me a beer?..... TWO!") Lucios grabs his partner and rolls him back into the ring and orders Mel a Beer (and two Aquafina for after the match!) EOM and Cole are on their feet at this point and start pounding on Lucios on the floor. With all their distractions, Mel is forced to pay for his own beer. He takes a couple of sips and starts his ten-count again, and Phantos is happy to take a count-out win. Eric slips away from Lucios as Cole levels the big man with a stiff right hand (that Mel didn't see because he saw Eric re-enter the ring). Phantos starts pointing to the outside, screaming at Mel, while Eric sneaks to his corner, claps ONCE, and Cole slides in and suplexes Phantos away from the ref. Mel turns away from that side of the ring to focus on the match, giving Lucios time to recover. Cole stomps away at Phantos, then hoists him up in a delayed vertical suplex to the delight of the crowd. Finally, the first cover of the match, but only a two count! Cole hauls Phantos to his feet and slings him to a corner. Cole offers to tag, but Eric gives him room. Cole lunges in with a back elbow, then throttles Phantos to Mel's slow four count. As Mel is counting, Eric tucks something into the side of Cole's tights. Cole backs off, then SLAPS Phantos! Lucios was back in his corner and sees this, and storms into the ring! He actually gets a hand on Cole, and the "something" (knux) slips out of Cole's tights and bounces along the apron. Mel is shoving Lucios back to the corner as Cole reaches down for the knux. Not finding em there, he gets a good look at them - as Phantos got to them first! Eric is almost as stunned as Cole, and Phantos gets in two good swings! Cole is DAZED! Eric falls off the apron! Phantos tosses the knux out of the ring and hurries to his corner to tag his partner back in. Mel looks back and forth, missing what happened. Lucios gathers the staggering Cole and hoists him up! FLYING SPIKE! No way Cole's getting up from that!
WINNERS in 27:11 - and STILL YOUR OOWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - Phantos and Lucios
After the match, Mel finds the knux and shakes his head. He puts them in his pocket to sell at another show.
SPIN HANSEN vs. DAMON WRATH – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchThe challenger, Damon Wrath, comes to the ring first and steps between the ropes, trying to shake the nervous energy from his body. The new OOWF Intercontinental champion Spin Hansen is announced next and comes out to the top of the ramp and holds the title high for all to see, then makes sure the camera catches his taped fists which have “DHM” written across the knuckles. Spin taps his heart, then heads down the ramp and into the ring. Spin steps between the ropes and once again holds his title up for the fans to see, and they cheer him wildly. Spin hands the title to the referee and gets ready in the corner. The ref hands the title off to the ringside officials, and calls for the bell, this one is underway.
Spin and Damon meet in the center of the ring and lock up. Neither man is able to gain an advantage initially, but finally Spin pushes Wrath into the corner. The referee calls for a clean break, and after a moment's hesitation, Spin gives the clean break. Both men head back to the middle of the ring again, and once again they lock up. This time, Wrath catches Spin with a head but to the nose that staggers the big man. When Spin turns back to Wrath, Wrath catches him with a spinning heel kick that sends Spin to the mat. Wrath immediately pounces and gets the mount position on Spin and hammers him with shots to the face. Spin blocks them as best he can, then reaches up and grabs Wrath by the throat trying to free himself, but Wrath catches the arm and immediately falls to the side trying to trap him in a Fujiwara armbar! Spin immediately rolls through and gets to one knee taking the pressure off his arm, but Wrath still has him trapped. Spin grabs Wrath's arm and lifts him off the mat, and SLAMS him down to the canvas. Wrath breaks the hold as the back of his head bounces off the mat. Spin immediately drops an elbow across Wrath's chest and covers, but Wrath kicks out before the one count. Spin pulls Wrath to his feet and connects with a European uppercut, then scoops Wrath up for a slam, runs him into the corner, then power slams him on the mat. Another cover, this time Spin gets two before Wrath rolls his shoulder. Once again both men are on their feet, Spin grabs a side head lock, but Wrath pushes him to the ropes, Spin hits a shoulder block on the rebound and Wrath hits the mat. Spin runs the ropes again, and on the rebound, Wrath tries a hip toss, but Wrath blocks it and tries a clothesline, but Wrath ducks and catches Spin as he spins around and nails a perfect release German suplex. Spin lands hard on the back of his head and Wrath spins to his feet and catches Spin with a shining wizard that sends him under the bottom rope to the floor. Wrath leaves the ring and pulls Spin up and whips him shoulder first into the stairs. Spin falls to the floor in pain, and Wrath follows it up with a running knee drop to his shoulder. Wrath rolls Spin into the ring and pulls his arm around the ring post and gives it a few good shots against the steel, leaving Spin in obvious pain. Finally Wrath comes back into the ring and spends several minutes working Spin's arm and shoulder. Wrath takes Spin to the mat with a hammerlock and tries for the submission, but Spin refuses to give up. he works his way to the ropes and finally forces the break.
Spin uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet and Wrath charges, but spin catches him with a back drop and sends him sailing over the top rope to the floor. Wrath lands hard and smacks his face on the guard rail. When he finally gets to his feet, we see that he has been split wide open, and blood is pouring from a gash on his forehead. Spin seizes his opportunity and steps out onto the apron and runs the length of the apron and leaps off, catching Wrath with a clothesline just as he turns around. Spin hefts a stunned Wrath up and rolls him under the ropes and follows him inside. Now it is Spin’s turn to hammer away on Wrath mercilessly. The referee steps in and checks on the cut on Wrath’s head, which has also swelled up badly, closing one of Wrath’s eyes. The referee looks like he is about to stop the match, but Wrath refuses to let him and fights to his feet and catches Spin with a couple of hard shots that rocks the big man back on his heels. Wrath grabs Spin and tries to whip him into the corner, but Spin reverses and sends Wrath slamming into the turnbuckle. Spin charges and gets caught in the face with a boot from Wrath that sends him staggering back to the middle of the ring. Wrath collects himself and grabs Spin’s sore shoulder and wrings it and tries for the Lights Out! but Spin ducks the move and catches Wrath with a clubbing clothesline to the back of the head that sends him to the mat, Spin pounces on him and locks in the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, but Wrath makes it to the ropes forcing the break. Spin finally releases the hold and pulls Wrath to his feet, but Wrath gets in a quick shot to the side of the head, then hits the ropes and charges, but Spin stops him dead in his tracks with a kick to the gut, then lifts him and hits the JAGERBOMB! DAVIN MORELAND vs. THE AMNESIAC – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchA bit of a departure from the norm, as the opening fanfare of "Gonna Fly Now" blares across the arena sound system, welcoming The Amnesiac to the top of the ramp. He bounds to the ring quickly, shadowboxing as he does, and springs to the second turnbuckle, actually getting a small amount of ovation from the crowd. He soaks it in, hopping in place as the music shifts and the OOWF heavyweight champion makes his way down the ramp, flanked by BOTH Darling sisters. Moreland and company hit the ring to a chorus of boos and a barrage of garbage. Alexis and Samatha take GREAT offense to this, but Davin no-sells it, climbing into the ring and holding the belt aloft. The Amnesiac comes over at Barros, instruction to inspect the belt, and gets a pie-face from Moreland for his efforts. Barros does his best to caution an uncaring Moreland about that kind of activity, but it falls on deaf ears. The bell sounds and we're underway!
The Amnesiac circles quickly around Moreland a few times, dropping to a knee a few times looking for a single leg a few times, but finding no opening goes into the collar and elbow with Moreland who forces his back into the corner. Barros calls for a clean break, and at four he gets it...only for Moreland to slap the taste out of The Amnesiac's mouth. Both men back to the center to the ring and back for a collar and elbow, but The Amnesiac slips under, popping up behind Davin and PAINTBRUSHING him as he turns around. Moreland is LIVID~! and as he charges at the masked man, The Amnesiac uses his speed to dodge the charge catching Moreland in a side headlock. Quick shoot off by Davin sends the masked man to the ropes, and the Amnesiac comes back off with shoulder tackle attempt that doesn't doesn't budge the champ, but sends the masked man crashing to the ground. Anm hops back up, and Davin challenges him to do it again. He does, with the same result. A third try, and Moreland goes for a clothesline but Amn slides between his legs and pops back up with a picture perfect standing dropkick to the back of Moreland’s head. A second, and then trifecta sends Moreland into the ropes and Davin swings back wildly, allowing The Amnesiac to trap the arm with a heavy looking arm drag. The crowd is fired up as Amn locks in the arm bar, and Moreland looks flustered and maybe a little confused by this turn of events.
The champ fights to his feet, shoots Amn off into the ropes, but The Amnesiac shows his speed again, leapfrogging Moreland's backdrop attempt and hitting the far side ropes. Alexis Darling grabs his leg as he does, earning his attention long enough Moreland to pull up behind him and nail a big time release German suplex that folds him half. Davin takes a second on one knee to tap his temple to the audience which draws the expected boo-ing, before scooping up the masked man and sending him crashing face first into the turnbuckle and burynig several kidney punches. Davin props him back up in the corner, and works a flurry of punches and elbows into his midsection before pulling him back out and crushing him with a standing clothesline. Cover by Moreland:
