Live from Dry Fork, Wyoming!
Announcers: Welcome to OOWF MidWeek Mayhem! Live from Dry Fork Arena and Cattle Center! Tonight we have a fantastic line up for you, the OOWF Invitational continues! Hellion and Corax defend the tag team titles, Concrete TG defends the Intercontinental title, and new Champion Donovan Viper makes another defense against Beast, this time in a 15-FOOT HIGH STEEL CAGE!
Our first match features OOWF newcomer F. F. Capslock, what do you know about Capslock Razz?
Razz: Well, Tim Russ, I don’t know a whole lot about Capslock, except he is really popular in Fresno.
Ross: That and HE’S A HOSS!!
Non-Tournament Matches
F.F. CAPSLOCK vs. SMARK
Capslock is making his OOWF debut tonight. Smark attacks to start, nailing Capslock in the back of the head with a forearm. FFC tumbles from the ring and to the floor, Smark follows him to the outside trying to capitalize on his advantage. Smark stomps away on FFC, then climbs to the apron and waits for FFC to get to his feet. As FFC gets up, Smark runs and leaps off the apron…right into the waiting arms of FFC. In one fluid motion, FFC turns it into a spine buster on the concrete floor. FFC picks Smark up and rolls him back into the ring, inside, FFC tries to play to the crowd, but they don’t respond. FFC waits in the corner, is he sulking? Smark gets to his feet and FFC explodes out of the corner and hits a running back elbow that nearly takes Smark’s head off. With Smark on the mat, FFC drops a big elbow and covers, Smark is able to kick out at two. FFC gets Smark to his feet, holds him with one arm, and lays in the Dusty Rhodes bionic elbows, once twice, three times, and Smark is down. FFC covers, but lifts Smark up before the ref can count three. FFC pulls Smark to his feet and sends him to the ropes and connects with a mighty power slam. This time FFC doesn’t even try a cover, instead he climbs the ropes. As Smark staggers to his feet, FFC hits the dreaded Spirit of Fresno! Smark yells in pain, FFC takes him off his feet with a big clothesline. With Smark down, FFC applies the Standing Figure Four, Smark is nearly to the ropes, FFC breaks the hold, drops a huge elbow across Smark’s sternum, pulls him to the center of the ring, and reapplies the standing figure four, this time, Smark taps.
WINNER in 3:25 F.F. Capslock
Razz: Nice debut for Capslock, he gets the duke with the standing figure four, Ross, did you know that the standing figure four originated in the Incan Dynasty? It was a submission used to subdue invading hordes.
Ross: Yeah, um sure! WHAT A SLOBBERNOCKER! Razz, up next could be one of the most intense matches we’ve seen in a long time
Razz: Oh yeah baby! Endo is out for blood for the Establishment after Blade sent Grunt packing from the OOWF, this one could get ugly.
ENDO vs. BLADE
Blade is out the blocks fast and takes it to Endo with a series of punches before hitting an Irish whip/back elbow combo. Endo rolls out the ring; Blade does the same and meets Endo with a vicious clothesline. Blade breaks the ref count and the crowd applauds wildly. Endo back in and gains a quick advantage with a thumb to the eyes and a kick to the knee. Pounds away but has his Irish whip reversed and Blade floors him with a flying forearm. Blade dominates for the next few minutes with Endo getting eye rakes and short cuts for brief moments of control. Endo's last attempt at offense ends in a quadruple reversal sequence that ends badly for him. Blade takes him down with RYUSHIN~!!! but before he can make the cover, Niles Anderson distracts the ref. Blade hits a quick super kick that sends NA to the floor. Blade turns around and Endo has recovered enough to apply the claw. Blade struggles valiantly, but passes out from the loss of blood.
WINNER in 4:25 Endo
SFJ17 catches up with UnderDawg in the back
SFJ17: Mr. Dawg, can I ask you a few questions?
UD: What?
SFJ17: Well you have to face Brad Smoley tonight, he used to be a member of the Ministry, what happened that he is no longer a member, and how do you feel about facing him?
UD: Smoley and I are friends, and despite what my other Ministry mates say, he was a valuable asset to the Ministry. There comes a point in time when all men must find themselves. Donovan found himself; he questioned himself and had to decide what his priorities were. Hellion had to search within himself after his eye was gouged out. He looked deep in his soul and decided that vengeance was his answer. Corax had to search his soul when his partner went down, he knew that Hellion may never return, he found his way through violence and pudding. After the inferno casket match, I had to gather myself and decide my fate, and the rest of the OOWF’s fate. After our tag match against Ecosystem and LI in November, I told Smoley that he needed to go find himself; he needed to discover what made him the man he is. I guess we are seeing that now.
SFJ17: So how do you feel about facing him?
UD: Smoley understands that it’s nothing personal, its just business. To win the OOWF Invitational, I have to defeat him. Nothing more.
SFJ17: If you win the tournament, what are your plans? Will you challenge Ministry member Donovan Viper for the World title? Or will you get a partner and challenge Hellion and Corax for the tag titles? Or will you try to bring all the OOWF gold to the Ministry and target Concrete TG’s Intercontinental title?
UD: When I win the tournament….all will be revealed. <UD walks away>
Ross: Razz, those were some chilling words from Underdawg, I don’t like Brad Smoley’s chances tonight.
Razz: The big man is on a mission tonight; Smoley has his work cut out for him. Up next we got a couple of new teams squaring off.
Ross: GimmickMan and Vander has some success last week gaining the Rocky Mountain Mile High Tag Team Championship, but they have their work cut out for them this week against Coolname and EricO’Mac.
Razz: Yeah Ross, but I like Vander and Gimmick’s chances, both their opponents are accomplished tag wrestlers, but not with each other, it will be interesting to see how their styles mesh.
MARK VANDER & GIMMICKMAN vs. CARL COOLNAME & ERIC O’MAC
Vander and GimmickMan team up again after a victory over the Dragons. Vander’s management team comes to he ring with the team, each wearing one of the Rocky Mountain Mile High Tag Team championship belts around their waists. Missy Lane gets on the mike.
ML: “To prove the championship quality of our men (GimmickMan darts a stare at Vander; Vander simply shrugs), tonight’s match will be for the Rocky Mountain Mile High Tag Team titles.”
Coolname and EOM are thrilled at the chance, and attack the surprise “champions” as the bell sounds. EOM squares off with GimmickMan; Coolname with Vander. Texas Tornado for the first few minutes, as the referee allows a lot of leeway, considering it’s a title match and all. EOM finally dropkicks GimmickMan over the top rope, and he and Coolname double whip Vander and nail him with a Flapjack! What a move from the new team! Vander rolls to the outside; he and GimmickMan regroup.
Alexander Bensouir and Missy convince GimmickMan to get back into the ring, and he and EOM square off. Some nice moves and counter moves, with neither man getting the advantage. They even do the running cris-cross to he delight of the Old School fans. It’s a mistake for GimmickMan, however, as EOM drops down in the splits and comes back up with a deadly accurate dropkick to the face. EOM tags out to Coolname, who continues the attack. EOM and Coolname hit a couple nice double-team moves and keep the champs off balance, until Coolname runs to the ropes and is greeted with a knee to the back by Vander. Vander tags in, and Coolname is YOUR FACE IN PERIL! Vander and GimmickMan dominate for about five minutes, but Coolname stops in front of a double back body drop, nails a double DDT, crawls to EOM and gets the tag. EOM is a HOUSE ON FIRE! Yes, it’s Tag Team Wrestling By The Book!
EOM dominates the champs, sending GimmickMan out of the ring. One on one with Vander, and EOM has Vander in trouble. Whip to the ropes by EOM, reversal by Vander, EOM leapfrog over the top…and met with a devastating clothesline from GimmickMan!!! EOM does a full 360; GimmickMan slides back out of the ring and pulls Coolname off the apron. It’s academic now, but Vander hits The Deal Breaker for good measure. Three seconds later and Missy Lane is in the ring with the mike:
ML: “In 13 minutes and 42 seconds, the winners and still YOUR Rocky Mountain Mile High Tag Team champions, Mark Vander and GimmickMan!”
Ross: For my money, that was one of the best tag matches I have seen in a long long time. I think Coolname and Eric could have a bright future ahead of them, and Vander and Gimmick should get a shot soon
Razz: no question about it, here in the OOWF we are stacked with teams though, you have to go through hell to earn a shot. The two teams in this next match proved that. Ross did you know that Dragons are a mythical symbol of power that symbolizes strength and ferocity?
Ross: Um, right, so Razz, what do you make of the issues between SoulDragon and Blackdragon?
Razz: well that’s something that they better get worked out pretty quick, it doesn’t take too many losses here in the OOWF to fall out of the tag ranks.
Ross: Razz, you had several partners, did you ever go through something like this?
Razz: whoa whoa Ross, lets make it clear that I have had several tag partners, lets not give people the wrong idea. But, uh, yeah sure, you go through some growing pains every now and then, they just need to get on the same page that’s all.
OUTBACK JACK & GATORBAIT vs. THE DRAGONS – TLC MATCH
Six tables are already set up outside the ring with four more propped against the barriers. BD and GB pair off leaving OBJ and SD. Lots of punching and kicking for the first few minutes. GB is the first to taste wood after BD counters a cross body into a fall away slam over the top rope and onto one of the tables at ringside. BD then hits OBJ with a huge German suplex after OBJ puts SD down with a spine buster. BD helps SD to his feet. BD rolls to the outside to grab a ladder. As he slides back into the ring, GB yanks him back out and slams a piece of splintered table over his head. SD tosses the ladder out of the ring and beans GB in the head with it. OBJ recovers and they slug it out. SD bails to the outside, but after a series of reversals, gets back dropped through the announce table. BD snake eyes GB into the crowd then eats a big boot from OBJ. OBJ is the only one standing and retrieves the ladder. Even with a quick set up, he finds both Dragons recovered. BD drops OBJ back to mat with a power bomb. GB makes it into the ring only to get caught with a chair shot from SD. He then stabs OBJ in the throat with the chair then signals for BD to climb up the ladder. Five more chair shots keep OBJ and GB down. As BD reaches the apex and stretches for future no. 1 contender's contract, SD shoves the ladder over and BD plunges over the top rope all the way to the floor. BD is out cold and SD grabs the announcer by the shirt and demands this contest be ruled a non-finish. As officials attend to BD, OBJ and GB recover enough to attack SD. He escapes through the crowd and a weakened GB and OBJ fight with the security staff.
WINNERS – NO CONTEST in 15:58
Razz: we got another barnburner coming up here, Thim and Semaj are a new team and they are going up against some tough competition. After the recent attacks on Thim and Semaj there is no way they are going to be at 100%
Ross: Well, Razz I agree with you there, but this Semaj and Thim, they have more heart than just about anyone I know here in the OOWF, they may not be 100%, but they will give it their all, I guarantee that.
THIM REYNOLDS & SEMAJ B. vs. MORTE & LI
Semaj and Morte start it off with a little back and forth action ending with a Morte head scissors. Lock up and this time Semaj outwrestles Morte, who resorts to a cheap shot to the throat. Works over the neck with some neck torques and a flipping neck breaker before tagging in Li. Li goes all Kung Fu theater on Semaj ending with a Tiger Mask Flip and Super Kick for a long two count. Semaj battles back, but a spinning heel kick puts him back down. Morte back in with some ground and pound until he whips Semaj into the corner. Top rope hurricarrana gets another two. Li and Morte light Semaj up with some kicks before nearly decapitating him with a back breaker/scissors kick combo. Thim in for the save and Morte goes to work with a modified triangle choke. Somehow, Semaj fights out and rallies. Semaj hits a huge drop kick and hits the hot tag to Thim.
Thim gets a flurry of offense, but the numbers game catches up to him and they double-team him. Semaj takes Morte out and over with a clothesline as Li drops Thim with a fall away jump kick. Li ascends the top rope awkwardly, which gives Thim time to give him
a push. But instead of falling off, Li gets his knee trapped in the ropes. The Crowd wants Semaj and Thim finishes stomping away at the afflicted knee before tagging him in. Semaj hits a quick drop kick to the afflicted knee, house 'o fire clotheslines for a recovering Morte and Semaj shoulder blocks Li's bad knee for good measure before locking in a high single leg crab putting extra torque on the knee. Thim stops
Morte with a high cross body and Li is forced to submit. Morte reluctantly helps his partner to his feet, only to find Li can't support any weight on the knee.
WINNERS in 11:15 Semaj B & Thim Reynolds
LI Collapses to the mat in pain, grabbing his knee. Finally OOWF trainers come out and stabilize his leg and carry him to the back. Morte trails behind looking concerned (well concerned for a heel) It doesn’t look good.
Ross: Y’know Razz, even though I think LI is a heartless SOB, you never want to see someone go out like that. Lets just all hope that the knee injury isn’t severe and he is able to come back at 100%
Razz: Yeah you hate to see injuries, but that is all part of the game. I know LI and he is one tough individual, if anyone can recover from this, it is him.
Ross: All right, now we get to the OOWF Invitational matches, we are getting down to crunch time here, you know to start the tournament I picked Hardbody Harris to go all the way. What do you think of his chances against LD Williams?
Razz: Well LD Williams has really come into his own here in the last few months. You cannot take him lightly at all; I think tonight LD Williams pulls the upset.
OOWF Invitational Tournament Matches
Before the match begins, Hardbody grabs a mic. “Now, LD, wait just a few minutes. I have something to say. If you weren’t aware, this is the Elite Eight round of the OOWF Invitational. Do you know what this means? You, LD, are one of the last few people left in this tournament. Doesn’t this make you feel fuzzy inside? I know I like to feel fuzzy.”
*Hardbody puts his free hand down the front of his pants and smiles. The female members of the crowd respond in kind.*
“Anyway, if you beat me, then beat the next person, and then win the finals, you’ll get a shot at the OOWF belt of your choosing. But that’s a lot of hard work, and it probably won’t happen. So, tonight, we’ll play “Let’s Make A Deal!”
*Cheesy 70’s game show music hits, and Sexy Female Journalist brings out a shopping cart covered with a blanket. She lifts it into the ring (she’s strong…in bed!) and wheels it to Hardbody. She licks his navel.*
“Okay, LD. Here’s what we’ll do. In this shopping cart, I have 23 belts. All very expensive, all very nice looking. Take a look!
*LD examines the belts; he tries some on, he practices whipping them in the air, and he even chews on one. It’s real leather.*
“Here’s what I’ll do. I really don’t want you to go away from this tournament empty handed, but face it: you’re not a very good wrestler. Even if you luck out a win against THE #1 SEED IN THE OOWF INVITATIONAL, you’re not beating anyone else. So, you can have any one of these belts, FREE OF CHARGE, if you go home today. OR, you can pick what’s inside this shoebox,” Hardbody holds it up. “and face me in this match. You decide.”
LD pushes the shopping cart over. “I’m going to take what’s in that box, and then I’m going to kick your ass!” Hardbody offers the shoebox to LD, holding it in his hands. LD opens the lid…AND THE NEW AND ADORABLE OOWF BEAST PLUSH TOY POPS OUT! LD jumps back.
Hardbody laughs hysterically. “Look for it on oowf.com! You had your chance, LD. Have fun in the losers bracket.”
“There is no loser’s bracket.”
“Oh, you just suck. I’m going to fix your wagon!”
HARDBODY HARRIS vs. LD WILLIAMS
The two meet face to face in the middle of the ring, jawing at each other. LDW ends the debate with a slap right across HH’s face. HH responds with a double leg take down, and its on! The two men roll around the ring clawing at each other and trading punches. Their fight tumbles out of the ring to the floor. Finally both men are to their feet, LDW charges at HH, but HH turns and drop toe holds LDW to the floor, with LDW down, HH sits on top of him and rides him like a pony for a few seconds, then rolls back into the ring to the cheers of his adoring fans. Outside LDW is back to his feet, seething with anger. LDW gets back in the ring, and the two lock up again, HH wins the tie up and sends LDW to the ropes, as LDW comes back, HH hits him with a perfect dropkick right to the mouth, sending LDW outside the ring once again. Outside LDW is getting frustrated. LDW taunts HH from outside, HH tries a baseball slide, but LDW moves and levels HH with a clothesline. LDW snaps and puts the boots to HH. LDW rolls in the ring to avoid the count out, but goes right back outside. HH is just getting to his feet when LDW levels him again with an elbow to the back of the head. LDW rolls HH back inside the ring and makes a cover; HH is able to kick out at two. LDW takes over now, and dominates the match, working on HH’s neck, trying to soften him up for a DDT. After several minutes of mat wrestling, HH is able to power out of a dragon sleeper type move and get to his feet. HH elbows LDW in the midsection to create separation, out of the blue, HH hits an RKO! Both men are down. We are approaching the fifteen-minute mark. HH crawls over to LDW and covers him, but LDW is able to get his shoulder up at two. HH and LDW both get to their feet, LDW rakes the eyes and tries for a suplex, HH reverses it and hits a To Be Edited In Later! Again both men are down and exhausted, HH musters the strength to crawl over to LDW and make another cover, one, two, LDW gets his foot on the ropes. HH gets LDW to his feet again, HH tries for a suplex, LDW reverses it, lands behind HH, drops to his knees and low blows HH. Harris falls writhing in pain. LDW collapses in the corner, it appears that LDW is reaching for something in his boot, the ref doesn’t see anything. Two minutes left. Harris gets to his feet, and goes to LDW’s corner and tries to pull him to his feet, as LDW stands up, he blasts HH in the head with a chain. HH falls backward, nearly out cold. The ref turns to check on HH, not seeing the chain shot. As LDW stands there collecting himself, JW Westgaard runs from the back and shatters his hockey stick across the back of LDW’s head. LDW falls landing next to Harris. LDW is out cold. JWW takes off, the ref looks perplexed. With both men down, the ref starts the ten count. At eight, HH is able to muster enough strength to throw his arm across LDW’s shoulder. The ref counts three, Williams is still out.
WINNER in 19:44 Hardbody Harris
Johnny Adrenaline tried to come to the ring, but halfway down the ramp he was met with a JWW cross check that flattened him. JWW lifts Adrenaline and is about to hit an Ice Auger on the steel ramp when officials break that up. More officials come to the ring and check on LDW and Harris. Harris makes it to his feet, to the wild cheers of the fans, Johnny finally makes it to the ring and pulls LDW out and helps a groggy LDW to the back.
Ross: MY GAWD! JW Westgaard may have just bit off more than he can chew. Adrenaline and Williams are two mean heartless SOB’s I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes right now.
Razz: I have a feeling Mr. Westgaard isn’t a bit afraid of those two. Harris was lucky to come out of this one, but he is on to the semi finals!
Ross: No question, Razz, do you think Smoley has a chance in hell against Underdawg tonight?
Razz: No.
Ross: That’s all?
Razz: Underdawg appears to be a man on a mission, it is going to take one hell of an effort to beat him, and I just don’t think Smoley has what it takes.
UNDERDAWG vs. BISCUIT TAKER
BONG!
BONG!
WOOF!
UD makes his way to the ring, quite the spectacle. He gets the ring and anxiously awaits his opponent.
BONG!
BONG
HEEE-HEEEE (the sound the Pilsbury Doughboy makes)
Announcers: MY GAWD!! IT’S THE BISCUIT TAKER!!! THROUGH HELLFIRE AND BRIMSTONE AND THE OVENS OF HELL!!! Oh wait, who the hell is the Biscuit Taker?
Indeed our intrepid Mr. Smoley is now the Biscuit Taker, he slowly ambles his way to the ring dressed from head to toe in black followed by an equally somberly dressed Smark, Smark is not carrying an urn, no that would be copyright infringement, he is carrying a plate of popn’ fresh biscuits (thanks to our newest sponsor, Pilsbury! Nothin says lovin’ like fresh biscuits from the oven!) Smoley finally makes it into the ring and stands there, UD is staring at him looking somewhere between bemused and annoyed. Smoley slowly raises his arms, then brings them down! Nothing happens. He turns and looks at Smark, obviously annoyed. Smark nods his head and digs in his pockets. Smoley turns and slowly raises his arms again, and brings then down! This time Smark lights two bottle rockets, one fizzles out. The other screeches off. WHAT A PYRO DISPLAY!
Finally on to the match. The bell rings and the two slowly walk to the center of the ring. Smoley lifts his arm calling for a choke slam; UD ends it by grabbing Smoley by the throat, lifting him (with considerable effort) and choke slamming him to hell!! Smoley flops around on the mat; UD lifts him again, and hits a last ride power bomb, Dawg covers, 1,2,3. That was fast.
WINNER in 1:15 UnderDawg
After the match, UD helps Smoley to his feet, the two stare at each other for a moment, UD nods. The lights go out.
BONG!
BONG!
WOOF!
The lights come back on and UD is gone, leaving only Smoley, Smark and a plate of Biscuits in the ring. Smoley acts as if nothing happened and he and his entourage make it back to the back.
Razz: Wow, that was brief!
Ross: That Underdawg is one hell of a HOSS! Next week it’s Hardbody Harris versus UnderDawg to advance to the finals. That might be one of the best matches we have ever seen here in the OOWF.
Razz: I can’t wait for that one! We got a good one up next, unbelievable talent on both sides!
Ross: Alt is one of the great young up and comers in this business, and Niles has really been on a tear here lately, I can not wait for this one.
NILES ANDERSON vs. CHRIS ALT
Lock up in the middle of the ring, Alt grabs a side headlock, Niles shoves him off and Alt hits the ropes, Niles tries for a clothesline, but Alt ducks, stops in his tracks and hits a thrust kick as Niles turns around. As Niles is picking himself up off the mat, Alt springboards off the middle rope with a spin kick that sends Niles out of the ring. Niles quickly regroups outside and slides in under the bottom rope, as Niles slides in, Alt springs over the top rope to the apron. Niles gets on his feet inside the ring, just in time for Alt to spring to the top rope, and sail across the ring with a cross body block. Niles is able to kick out at two, both men quickly to their feet, Alt charges, but eats a Niles clothesline. Niles grabs Alt by the legs and drops a knee right to the groin to keep Alt down. Niles now methodically slows the match down working on the leg, especially Alt’s knee. Anderson drapes Alt’s leg across the bottom rope, springs up and drops a knee down on the inside of Alt’s knee. Anderson then drags Alt to the center of the ring and applies an Indian Death lock. Alt screams in pain as Anderson keeps the pressure on his knee. Alt suffers for several minutes but refuses to give up, Anderson finally breaks the hold. Both men struggle to their feet. Alt tries to kick Anderson in the midsection, Anderson catches his foot. Anderson spins Alt around trying for a clothesline, Alt ducks the clothesline and super kicks Anderson in the mouth. Anderson flails backward slamming into the referee, and falling out of the ring. Alt collapses to the mat. Everyone is down. Niles is outside the ring; the ref is trying to gather his senses. Alt gets to his feet inside the ring and staggers over to Niles. When Alt leans through the ropes to bring Niles back into the ring, Niles swings a chair and slams Alt across the face. Alt crumples back inside the ring, the ref is finally slowly getting to his feet, and didn’t see anything. As Niles gets to his feet to get in the ring and make the academic cover, Thim Reynolds races to ringside with a chair. He gets to Niles, spins him around and crushes a chair down on his head. Niles falls to the floor, blood pouring down his face, he is out. Thim takes off before the ref sees a thing. The ref finally gets to his feet, sees Niles on the outside and begins a ten count. Niles has no shot at getting in the ring. Ten seconds later, its over
WINNER by Count out in 18:19 Chris Alt
Razz: You hate to see such a great match end like that, but Niles may have had that one coming, you can only push a man so far until he snaps
Ross: I have a feeling we are going to see more of all three of those men. Thim, Alt and Anderson, there are some major scores to settle there.
Razz: Alt can’t worry about that now, he is in the semi-finals and he will be facing one of two very dangerous men.
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. ATTITUDE ADJUSTER
Moose and AA lock up; this one is going to be a scientific marvel! Ok who am I kidding? AA gets the advantage first and grabs an arm wringer. Jack breaks the hold with a punch to the mouth. AA grabs the hold again and takes Jack down with a nice arm drag, AA keeps hold of the arm and applies an old school arm bar. Jack quickly gets back to his feet; AA grabs Moose by the hair and pulls him back down when the ref isn’t looking. Jack fights his way back to his feet again, and again AA pulls him down by the hair. Jack is yelling at the ref, the ref didn’t see a thing. Jack once again works his way to his feet, AA grabs a handful of hair, but before he can pull Jack back down, Jack grabs AA’s arm, reverses the arm wringer, pins AA’s arm behind his head and winds up for a heart punch. AA bails quickly and slides out of the ring. Jack slides out after AA and chases him around the ring, AA slides in first, Jack starts to follow him, AA pulls up, and drops an elbow, but Jack stays outside, so AA eats nothing but canvas, Jack reaches in and pulls AA our of the ring by the head, and drops an elbow across his throat. AA rolls back inside and tries to catch his breath; Jack is quickly back inside the ring and mounts AA choking him. AA is able to roll and reverse positions, now AA is on top of Moose choking him. The ref forces a break and both men are quick to their feet. Wow! That’s the most wrestling we’ve seen out of Moosehead Jack all year! The two lock up again, and Moose goes to the eyes, so much for that! MHJ backs AA into the corner and begins biting him. Jack whips AA out of the corner and catches him with a clothesline, knocking AA off his feet; Moose follows that with a knee drop to the sternum. Moose covers and gets two. Moose takes the next several minutes and pounds away on AA, every time AA would start to get an advantage, Moose cuts it off, at one point Moose throws AA out of the ring, and chokes him on the outside with the mic cord. Jack slams AA’s face into the ring post drawing blood. AA finally regains the momentum when he reverses a MHJ whip on the outside, brings Jack back and hits a spine buster through the Siberian Announce Table. Jack is down, laying in the broken remains of the table. AA rolls in and breaks the count, then goes back out and uses a piece of table wood to gouge Moose’s forehead. Both men finally make it back to the ring; AA has Moose at his mercy. AA calls for it, then slaps on the claw. Jack squirms in pain as the blood flows in sickening amounts from Jack’s head. This should be it; no one can escape the claw. Jack slumps to his knees, with one last burst of energy, Jack lunges toward the ropes, just barely making it. The ref counts, and Attitude is forced to break at four. AA sends Jack to the ropes trying for a hotshot; Jack stops short and levels AA with a right cross to the mouth. AA falls, Jack falls, both men are down. Jack recovers after a few minutes, both men are to their feet, AA gets a boot in, and tries to whip Jack to the ropes again, Jack reverses the whip, pulls AA back toward him, twists AA’s arm behind his head and nails a perfect heart punch out of nowhere. AA is down gasping for air, Jack picks up AA again, hits another heart punch, then for good measure, picks up AA one final time and DDT’s him. AA is out. Jack makes the cover and the ref counts three.
WINNER in 16:11 Moosehead Jack
After the match Endo slides into the ring, he and Moose glare at each other for a few minutes, Endo then turns to the prone AA and applies his claw, AA screams in pain, MHJ climbs the ropes and connects with a flying heart punch. Before they can do anymore damage, CTG comes out with a chair and clears the ring. Moose and Endo celebrate their victory and head to the back.
Ross: well that one wasn’t pretty, that’s what you call bowling shoe ugly.
Razz: that was intense! I’ll tell ya, I like Moose’s chances in this tournament, we are seeing a new, more aggressive Moosehed Jack, and I didn’t think that was possible!
Ross: Alt will certainly have his work cut out for him; Moosehead Jack is an evil conniving psychopath, who will stop at nothing, nothing! To get what he wants.
Razz: welcome to the big time Mr. Alt, if you can get past this one, you deserve to be in the finals.
Ross: Razz, Canadian Dragon is still holding that World Title, he stole the title, he basically ran off the GM, what is the point this guy is trying to prove?
Razz: Well he is trying to bring some respect back to the world title, and I commend him for the idea, but I am not so sure about his methods.
Ross: Last week, Microplay got a bit of revenge when he won the first blood match, tonight is the second match in their series; this one is a submission match. Who do you think has the advantage?
Razz: well certainly Dragon has the edge in this one, I’m not sure Microplay even knows any submission moves, but never underestimate our former champion, he is always one step ahead.
Non-Tournament Matches
CANADIAN DRAGON vs. MICROPLAY – Submission Match
Long lockup to start, and they carry it right out of the ring and back in. Micro takes him down and they do some actual mat wrestling, jockeying for submissions, and Microplay decides to go for the ropes. Dragon goes for the arm with a hammerlock and they turn it into ANOTHER mat-wrestling sequence before Micro goes to the headlock and it leads to a pin fall reversal sequence. Microplay makes the ropes and takes a breather on the outside. Which turns out to be a bad idea as Canadian Dragon flies over the top rope and nails Micro with a shooting star press! Back in, dragon looks to be in command, but Microplay goes the cheap route and nails a low blow. Microplay hits a beautiful gut wrench suplex, but Dragon blocks the next one...but Microplay overpowers him and gets it anyway. Microplay gets greedy and goes for a third one, but that's countered by an insane German suplex by Dragon. On the reply it looks like Dragon's knee buckled and Microplay's neck was driven into the mat. Dragon is up first, and he goes up for the Dragon Sault. But his knee seems to be bothering him and Dragon is taking too much time. Microplay lunges upwards and gives Dragon a chop block off the top turnbuckle to the floor! Dragon crashes to the floor and it's not looking good for the masked man. Microplay goes to the outside holding his neck, and locks on an ankle lock, but Dragon uses the stairs to pull himself into the ring. Micro follows inside the ring and goes for another ankle lock, but Dragon is quick to counter with a cross face! Micro uses his size advantage and manages to get Dragon up in position for a Death Valley driver! Micro pauses and decides to try an F5 but Dragon holds on and spins into the Dragon Sleeper! Micro tries to grab the ropes but Dragon drops to his knee putting adding pressure on! Micro tries to fight it, but Dragon has the hold locked solid and Microplay taps out to even the series at one win each.
WINNER in 25:28 Canadian Dragon
Dragon breaks the hold and poses shortly before heading up the ramp. On his way up the ramp Dragon is ambushed by Donovan Viper who hits him with a chain assisted Death Elbow! The two men go stumbling backstage into the equipment used to set up the ring. Viper picks Dragon up and goes to nail Dragon with the belt, but Dragon ducks and nails Viper with Dragon kick! Canadian Dragon grabs his sore knee and drops to the other. Looking down he sees Viper's custom title belt. Dragon reaches over and grabs a sledgehammer. Viper is getting up slowly, but before he can do anything Dragon drops the sledge down with force, smashing in the faceplate of Viper's belt! Security has finally come to separate the two as Viper picks up the pieces of his broken title.
Ross: Now how is that bringing respect to a title? I don’t think very highly of Viper as a person, but to destroy the title like that, that just shows a complete lack of respect.
Razz: Well, I am not sure what he was thinking there, I really think Dragon thinks he is on a crusade here, and Viper’s title was just mocking the integrity of the OOWF title.
Ross: well I don’t know what else to say, Lets go to our next tag match
HELLION & CORAX vs. 3PIECE SET – OOWF World Tag Team Title Match
Hellion and Corax show their belts to the fans, who give them a rousing ovation. Cole and Ax-Man are disgruntled. They confer, walk to opposite corners of the ring, stand on the turnbuckles and pose. A loud round of boos! 3PS is pissed at the reaction, and probably even more so when Hellion and Corax attack from behind. Hellion topples Cole over the turnbuckle to the floor, then joins Corax for some nifty double-teaming. Ax-Man powders out, but the champs hit double baseball slides on Cole and Ax and continue the attack out of the ring. Eventually Cole and Ax escape and walk up the ramp to the back. It looks like they’re calling it quits!
H&C make the classic mistake of turning their backs, and Cole and Ax race back into the ring for a devious heel beat down. Those are some vicious stiff forearms by Ax on Corax! Quick tag, and Cole nails The Headliner! Two count, but Hellion makes the save. Ax and Cole taunt Hellion with the fake tag/slap-your-own-hand routine, and check it out, the ref’s buying it! The ref is determined to put Hellion in his corner, and Corax eats the double throat-snap on the top rope.
Corax is in big trouble, but manages to fight back and eventually gets the tag to Hellion. Hellion is a HOUSE ON FIRE! Cole goes down! Ax goes down! The heels try the Ninja Attack Method and fail miserably! Ax eats the Hell’s Fury DDT, but Cole gets the upper hand on Hellion. Corax comes back and nails Cole with a flying forearm, but the ref shoves Corax back to his corner. Ax seizes the opportunity, slides a chair to Cole and brings one in for himself. CON-CHAIR-TO to Hellion!!! Corax is desperate to get back into the ring to help his partner, but the ref keeps trying to get him to leave the ring. Finally in frustration, Corax punches the ref in the mouth and heads into the ring. Cole takes a swing at Corax, Corax ducks and spin kicks Cole making him drop the chair. Corax is quickly back to his feet with the chair and threatens Ax, Ax powders out of the ring, by now the ref is back to his feet and calls for the DISQUALIFICATION!
WINNERS by DQ in 17:48 3Piece Set
We go backstage to the interview area, where Sexy Female Journalist #2 is standing by with one of the challengers for the upcoming Intercontinental Title match.
SFJ2: Johnny Adrenaline, you are moments away from attempting to recapture the OOWF Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match. Any last comments before you go out?
JA: Look, honey, I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. Westgaard, I've warned you about screwing with me and L.D. Tonight, I will shut you up myself. That's a promise. And Concrete, you hear that? That's the clock stroking midnight. Tonight, your carriage turns back into a pumpkin, and Johnny Adrenaline will walk out tonight, once again, the Intercontinental Champion of the World!
Johnny leaves as SFJ2 tries to make sense of Johnny's last sentence.
Ross: I don’t think 3 Piece Set are through with Hellion and Corax
Razz: Hellion may be seeing stars for a few days, but they will no doubt want revenge against Ax and Cole. Those two, Ax and Cole impress me though, I think they can take the titles from the Ministry
Ross: It certainly won’t be easy. Speaking of easy, Johnny Adrenaline seems to think that his match with Concrete and Westgaard is going to be a walk in the park
Razz: Adrenaline has a world of talent, no doubt, but the knock on him is that he always seems to underestimate his opponents. You can’t do that here in the OOWF!
CONCRETE TG vs. JW WESTGAARD vs. JOHNNY ADRENALINE – OOWF Intercontinental Title Match
JA and CTG throw JWW through the Jamaican Announce Table with a dual choke slam. Back in the ring, JA and CTG duke it out with neither of them getting a clear advantage until JA ducks a haymaker and hits an elevated DDT for a long two count. JA hits two quick neck breakers, but still only gets a two count. CTG fights back to his feet, but JA hits a rude knee to the face and gets another 2 count, this time broken up by a recovered JWW. He goes to work on JA's back ending with a high back suplex. CTG hits a low drop kick before JWW can even attempt a cover then hits a rare standing moonsault on JA for a quick two count. JWW nails JA with a super kick after CTG ducks. CTG and JWW slug it out until a furious JA retaliates with a double clothesline. JA puts the boots to them both then baseball slides CTG out of the ring. JWW is left to the mercy of a pissed JA who drops three vile knees into JWW's neck. Yanking him up, the ADRENALINE RUSH~!!! is blocked, so JA hits the reverse suplex instead. Attempts to pull JWW back to his feet, but is caught from behind with a CTG German suplex. JWW attacks from behind and after a series of reversals, somehow hits the T-BONE suplex. Sets CTG up for the ICE AUGER~!!! but taken off his feet with a nasty
clothesline by JA. JA yanks CTG out of the pinning situation and pounds on JWW until CTG hits a Tajiri-like kick to JA's spine. JWW walks into a chop happy CTG who goes to work on both his opponent's chest until they both maul him with punches then toss
him out of the ring. JWW sucker punches JA and brawls with him until JA regains control with a sick DDT. JA says it's over and finishes off JWW with the ADRENALINE RUSH~!!! Concrete breaks up the count. In the three-way confusion, JWW gets in a low blow on JA, but gets dropkicked in the face for his trouble. CTG hits the inverted atomic drop on JA and then back body drops a charging JWW out of the ring. JA, still favoring his little buddies backs right into a CEMENT MIXER~!!! And as easy as 123 ABC CTG retains his IC Title.
WINNER in 22:29 Concrete TG
Razz: Let me tell you something Ross, I don’t think Concrete gets enough credit around here. He has held that title for a looong time, and fought off all comers. He has spent many nights in the hospital, but through it all, whether it is Moosehead Jack, Johnny Adrenaline or LD Williams, he always seems to come out on top, you gotta be impressed!
Ross: no doubt in my mind that Concrete is one of the most gifted physical specimens in the world. To take the repeated beatings that he has, and still come back proves that. For my money, Concrete will one day be the OOWF world champion, that is if Donovan Viper will give him another chance.
DONOVAN VIPER vs. BEAST – OOWF World Title Cage Match
Beast enters first, and referee is quick to point him to the steel cage door, making sure he doesn’t walk through the cage wall. The champ enters last, and warily enters the cage. The ref locks the door shut, and the OOWF title match is under way. It’s pinfalls, submissions or escapes in this match.
Numerous tests of strength produce an even standoff, and it looks like there’s a little mutual respect going on. Another lockup, and Beast clubs Viper in the back to take the first advantage. Look folks, we’re not going to kid you here. The real action takes place at End Game. So let’s go there, shall we?
Viper is down! Viper is down! But Beast doesn’t go for the cover, nor does he try to escape. He grabs Viper’s chain and wraps it around his forearm. Looks like the Big Monster Hammer Club of Death With A Chain! Hellion and Corax have been at ringside, urging Viper to fight like a champion. Beast turns toward the tag champs, only to see them attacked by The Establishment. Oh my Gawd! A 4-on-2 attack! The tag champs are being brutalized. But here comes the Yet-Unnamed-Face-Faction! Concrete attacks Moose, the Dragons take on Morte, Semaj and Niles are battling up the runway and Endo and Attitude Adjuster have locked each other in the Claw!
The Dragons miscommunicate, and BD takes out SD by mistake. That gives the Establishment an opportunity to triple team Concrete TG. BD and SD meanwhile decide to fight each other. Niles hits a quick DDT on the floor and rushes back to help beat down Concrete. Meanwhile, the Intercontinental champ is taking his usual Face Champion Brutal Beating of the Week (trademark pending). Morte and Niles set up Concrete for a pile driver on the floor, and Moose is headed to the top of the security railing for a spike pile driver on the floor! This could put Concrete in the hospital for a few hours! Johnny Adrenaline and LD Williams come out and join the fray, helping fight people off so the Establishment can finish off that pile driver, but…
Wait! Beast is incensed! He tries climbing the cage, but Viper stops him. Being heels, The Establishment stops to watch. Beast kicks Viper off. My Gawd! Beast just ripped away the locked cage door! CAGE DOOR! CAGE DOOR! BY GAWD, CAGE DOOR!
Viper has a look of amazement on his face, then realizes his opening. Viper baseball slide between Beast’s legs, through the opening and out of the ring! The bell rings! Moose, Morte and Niles are still motionless, watching Beast. Bad move, Establishment. Beast drags the door out of the ring and swings it, scattering The Establishment and Williams and Adrenaline and saving Concrete. Viper heads to the other side of the ring, away from Beast.
WINNER in 14:22 and STILL OOWF World Champion: Donnie Viper!
Only now does Beast realize he’s lost his title opportunity. Good thing The Establishment and Adrenaline and Williams are gone, Endo and AA left a trail of blood from their claws, the Dragons have brawled into the stands. Hellion and Corax powdered out because we couldn’t think of anything for them to do. Beast is looking for someone to beat on, and everyone but Concrete is gone. Concrete tries to console Beast, but the monster will have none of it. Cage door in hand, he runs to the back to find The Establishment.
Concrete watches Beast run off, then slowly turns his attention to Viper. Concrete points at Viper, motions a title belt around his waist, and stares down the OOWF champion from across the ring. As Viper and Concrete lock eyes, Canadian Dragon makes his way out to the ramp. Viper also stares at Dragon, Concrete shoots Dragon a questioning look.
Ross: What a match! Viper escapes again, Beast must be sick to have let this opportunity slip by.
Razz: no doubt, Beast needs to think before he acts sometimes, he had that match won, but he is loyal and decided to save his friend. Too bad he couldn’t be loyal AND the world champion!
Ross: We just got an update on LI’s condition, and folks, its not good. LI has apparently suffered a torn, MCL, ACL, a ruptured patella and a fracture to the kneecap.
Razz: Wow, that sucks. LI, good luck with the surgery and rehab, it is gonna be a long road back.
