Blackdragon[/u]
Name: Black Dragon (sometimes refers to self as just Dragon or BD)
Height: 5'11
Weight: 236
Face/Heel/Neutral: Narcissistic, goofy Heel with almost dual personality vicious streak
Physical Attributes: Compact build akin to Benoit’s-lots of bulk on an average sized frame. Clean shaven almost to the point of bald; dark caramel hued skin; lopsided grin and coffee colored eyes that belie above mentioned viciousness; visible four pack atop a slightly rounded belly; sturdy legs with moderate definition; well defined biceps and triceps; near Goldberg-like definition in trapezium and shoulder area.
Entrance attire will consist of charcoal gray knee length boxing robe with massive obsidian colored dragon coiled like a serpent. Once unrobed, black fighting trunks with hunter green trim. Calligraphy style “BD” stitched on back. Black shoot fighting gloves and boots that stop just below the calves.
Entrance Music: Some unholy hybrid of “No Chance” from Forcible Entry and Saliva’s “Tear Away”
Finisher and Description of Finisher: 1) Dragon Knock Out (DKO) Drop – very similar to the STO used in No Mercy, just kick my opponent’s legs from under him and drive the back of his head into the mat. 2) Dragon Lock – combination knee and ankle lock submission. Best way to describe it would be similar to how one would set up the leg lock part of an STF, but tweak the knee more then slap on the ankle lock. 3) Just to piss fans off when fighting more aerial opponents, I’ll bust out the Descending Dragon, basically a corkscrew moonsault
Style (old school, technician, brawler, etc.): Technician with brawler tendencies. Will try to school you on the mat with various holds, but not averse to throwing a few stiff kicks and chops. Will perform at least one SUPPLEX~! variation per match. When wrestling a more technical style, will bust out with modified versions of standard offense that focuses on whatever body part I’m dissecting. If I’m in a more brawling state, expect CRAZY GO NUTS!!! (TM MATT HOCKING) Tajiri/RVD-like kicking and Benoit-like chops.
Black Dragon grew up in a relatively stable, single parent home. Despite his father’s infrequent visits, he fell in love with his father’s occupation: professional boxing. Later, he would discover his father ranked in the bottom hundred, but it never deterred the young man from pursuing the dream of being heavyweight champ. However, at age 19 during one a junior boxing tournament, an opponent would not relinquish a bear hold on BD. Enraged that he could not score any points without making contact, BD snapped and hit a picture perfect overhead bell-to-belly overhead supplex. He was immediately disqualified, but the maneuver felt so right that he grabbed the ref and gave him one as well. A few days later after posting bail, BD was approached by U. R. Aloser, a local wrestling promoter. An hour later, BD found himself training in the dilapidated, dimly lit training facilities. Two months later, he competed in and won his first professional wrestling bout. The wins came easily for several months, but the money was a slow trickle. So after dropping the South East Texas Heavy Weight Title to Spike, BD landed on the roster of Grave Yard Championship Wrestling where he amassed several high profile wins including a four-month reign as GCW Television Champion. Money was plentiful, fans adored him, and he was set to face off with Attitude Adjuster in a no. 1 contender’s bout for the GCW World Championship. Unfortunately, he had a falling out with the promoter a couple of weeks before hand and left to pursue his options in Japan. Japan offered more money, more fans, but not as much fun as he had in GCW. As he contemplated a return, he discovered the promotion had been bought out by the daughter of the no. 1 company in the industry. Despondent over the loss, BD retreated into the world of shoot fighting where his style meshed well, but his heart just wasn’t in it. Despite totally outclassing many of his opponents, he still found a way to lose or sometimes would simply throw in the towel himself. U. R. Aloser to the rescue. After a pleasant exchange, BD took a job as head trainer for SETW and encountered a brash young man in the guise of Eladon, who he would later rename Soul Dragon. BD was happy again, but fortune would soon smile on him even brighter as a new promotion, the OOWF was looking for new talent. BD immediately jumped at the chance and has since won and lost the OOWF tag titles. Poised for a rematch down the line, he has also set his eyes on singles gold after a recent falling out with partner and student Soul Dragon. Though fences have been mended, as the two still work as a team, it’s only a matter of time before BD steps up to IC or World Title platform
