OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Gwynedd, Wales
TYTAN vs. THIM REYNOLDS vs. ANDERS DENIALThim Reynolds enters the arena first and, largely on account of his opponents, gets a fairly positive reaction from the crowd. He doesn't seem to notice, however, as he slides into the ring and warms up. Tytan is out next and storms to the ring. He goes nose-to-nose with Thim, and both men start talking trash. Before they come to blows, 'Havenless' blasts through the arena speakers and Anders Denial comes to the ring. Referee Junior Hale watches Anders, and calls for the bell as soon as he steps into the ring. Junior retreats to a neutral corner and we're underway.
Tytan sprints across the ring and clips Anders with a clothesline, knocking him into the corner. Tytan drives a knee into Anders’ stomach and presses the attack with punches until Thim comes in behind him with a rabbit punch to the kidneys. He spins Tytan around and drives an elbow into his jaw, then sends him across the ring. Thim grabs Anders and sends him across the ring as well, and Anders slams into Tytan with a clothesline. Thim is right behind and avalanches them both. Anders drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring, and Tytan stumbles out of the corner – right into a belly-to-belly suplex from Thim. Thim hooks the leg and gets a two count.
Thim pulls Tytan to his feet and backs him against the ropes. He hits a chop that echoes through the arena, and Tytan reels, but grabs Thim and slams a head but into his forehead. He hits a second one, and then hoists Thim for a vertical suplex. While he's got him in the air, Anders reaches in and hooks his leg, sending both men hard to the mat. Anders slides in and drives an elbow into Tytan's forehead, then kicks him under the ropes to the floor. He turns and drives a knee into Thim's face as he gets up, and hooks him for a DDT. Thim reverses into a northern lights suplex, but instead of bridging he floats over and starts driving elbows and forearms into Anders head. Anders throws him off and rolls to his feet, but Tytan is on the apron behind him and pins his arms. Thim drives a knee into Anders' stomach, doubling him over, then throws all his weight behind an elbow that knocks Tytan back to the floor. Thim sends Anders to the ropes and hits the Neck Cracker! He covers, but Tytan dives in to break it up at two.
Tytan drags Thim to his feet and shoves him into the corner. He drives his shoulder repeatedly into Thim's midsection, then starts an Irish whip. He puts on the brakes and drives Thim face-first into the corner. He sets Thim on the top rope and drops him into the tree of woe, and starts the Hostile Takeover. While this is happening, Anders gets to his feet and removes the top turnbuckle cover in the opposite corner. He sprints across the ring and drives his shoulder into Tytan's back, then spins him around and hits an Irish whip, leaving his feet and propelling Tytan sternum-first into the exposed turnbuckle. Anders gets up and follows him in, and slams Tytan's face into the steel until blood starts to flow. Anders turns and sprints across the ring, and nails Thim with a stalling dropkick to the face. Anders rolls to his feet, steamrolls across the ring, and hits Tytan with a diving clothesline that takes both men over the ropes to the floor. Anders lands on his feet and slides back into the ring to celebrate, playing to the crowd. Anders gets up a head of steam and dives through the ropes, spearing Tytan into the ringside barrier. By this point Thim has freed himself and made his way onto the ring apron. As Anders gets up, Thim leaps and levels him with a clothesline.
Thim grabs Anders in a bear hug and drives him back into the ring apron, then turns as Tytan approaches carrying a pair of chairs. He tosses one to Thim and motions for a con-chair-to Thim looks at the chair in distain, throws it aside, and punches Tytan right in the face. Tytan staggers back, and Thim delivers a pair of precision kicks to Tytan's knee, causing it to buckle. Thim grabs his leg and locks in the Reflex-o-lock on the floor. Junior slides out of the ring and tries to force Thim to let go, while Anders slips behind them and clobbers Thim with the ring bell. Junior has words with Anders, which gives Tytan time to get to his feet. Tytan moves to attack, but Junior gets in front of him and orders him back into the ring while behind him Anders starts chopping his hand. Junior senses him coming and dives out of the way as Anders hits Tytan with The Business Side! Anders tries to stuff Tytan into the ring but Thim chop blocks him, then yanks him back into a backstabber. Thim grabs Tytan just as the bell rings. Junior's had enough and throws this one out.
WINNER - NO CONTEST in 13:46.
CONCRETE TG vs. MATTECrete makes his way to the ring first, and after the recent defection of Bryce Larson, Crete seems to have a different look about him, somewhat distracted. Crete gets into the ring and heads to the corner, passing on his usual posing and waving to the crowd. Matte is announced next and he makes his way to the ring. Matte has made a remarkable recovery from what can best be described as attempted suicide a few weeks ago. Thank god for brain surgery! Matte gets into the ring and slumps into the corner and grabs his head. The referee checks on him, and Matte lets him know that we are fine. Ok then. The ref calls for the bell and this one is underway!
Crete doesn’t wait for Matte to come out of the corner instead he charges in and connects with a drop kick to Matte’s head that sends the back of his head slamming into the turnbuckle. Crete grabs Matte by the leg and pulls him into the middle of the ring and flops him over and tries for an STF, but Matte fights out of it and connects with a couple of elbows to Crete’s jaw knocking him to the mat. Matte gets to his feet and waits for Crete to get to a knee, then runs and hits him with a boot to the side of the head. Crete falls to the mat and grabs his head, Matte falls across him and covers, but Crete kicks out at two.
Matte waits for Crete to get to his feet and hits the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Crete ducks it and grabs Matte from behind and hits a high bridging German suplex for a two count. Crete pulls Matte to his feet and shoves him into the corner and lights him up with several hard chops, then sends him to the ropes and hits a spinning heel kick on the rebound. Matte bails out of the ring and tries to regain his composure, but Crete gets a running start and dives between the ropes and takes Matte out, slamming the back of his surgically repaired head on the guard rail. Matte is dazed and Crete pulls him to his feet and sends him into the ring and follows him.
Crete covers, but only gets a two count. Crete pulls Matte to his feet and sends him to the corner, Crete follows him in, but Matte gets his foot up and catches Crete on the jaw, then grabs him and hits a side Russian leg sweep that sends Crete’s head slamming into the turnbuckle. Matte pulls a dazed Crete out of the corner and covers, but Crete rolls his shoulder at two. Matte gets to his feet, still grabbing his head, and heads to the corner. He climbs to the second rope and hits a flying elbow drop, covers again, and once again only gets a two count. Matte pulls Crete to his feet and calls for the Nevermind DDT, kicks Crete in the gut and grabs him in the front face lock, but Crete spins out of it, gets behind Matte and hits the LONG ARM OF THE LAW! Crete pounces on Matte, hooks his leg hard and gets the three count and the win.
WINNER in 7:24 – Concrete TG
After the match, Crete does not celebrate, he just gets his arm raised and puts his head down and walks to the back, not even taking the time to slap hands with the fans.
PHANTOS & LUCIOS vs. THE CHICKENSHIT HEELSPhantos and Lucios come out to the ring to general cheers and raucous noises. They stop and pose for pictures, though they refuse to sign the man boobs for a 650-pound Welshman with ink made from his own blood. The Chickenshit Heels follow, strutting as the audience rains down boos on them. They again have Phantos and Lucios's masks, and wipe their asses with them before entering the ring. Phantos and Lucios both look actively pissed, but hold it in as the Heels enter.
We start off the match with Phantos against AA. They lock up in the center of the ring, Phantos whips AA into the ropes and catches hi with a clothesline. Drop-down, one-count. Phantos bounds off the ropes himself, but is kicked in the back by Johnny Adrenaline. The ref yells at Johnny who is shocked, SHOCKED at being accused of such impropriety. AA takes the opportunity of the ref's distraction to knee Phantos in the balls three times in a row. Lucios runs in just as the ref is turning around and grabs AA, but the ref pushes him back into his corner. Johnny then runs out of his corner while the ref is distracted and assists AA in stomping on Phantos's crotch, quickly running back before the ref turns around.
Razz: I don't think Phantos will ever be able to have children now.
AA goes for the cover, but despite the testicular torment, Phantos manages to get the shoulder up at two. AA tags in Johnny, and they land a double suplex on Phantos. Johnny then locks in the Chin lock of Exciting Drama on Phantos. Phantos struggles, managing to make his way up actually holding Johnny on his back. With much difficulty, he runs backwards into his own corner, smashing Johnny back-first into the turnbuckles. Lucios takes the blind tag, going up top and grabbing Johnny's head. He lands a tornado DDT on Johnny, but only gets a two count before Johnny gets his foot on the ropes.
Lucios mounts Johnny in the corner and begins counting off punches. After the fourth, Johnny slips through his legs and pushes him forward, crotching Lucios and knocking Phantos off of the apron. Johnny goes up top with a back suplex to Lucios and goes for the cover! One, Two-Kickout! Johnny seems unhappy. Johnny puts Lucios into a full nelson, but Lucios breaks it and snapmares Johnny. Dropkick by Lucios, followed by a second, sending Johnny falling through the ropes.
As the ref is counting Johnny out, AA slides into the ring with a steel chair and NAILS Lucios, who goes down. Phantos, now having gotten up, runs into the ring and AA throws the chair at him. Phantos catches it, and AA falls to the ground screaming bloody murder.
AA: PLEASE DON'T HURT ME MR. MAN WITH THE ILLEGAL CHAIR!
The referee turns around, seeing Phantos with the chair and starts yelling at him. Phantos protests, but goes back to his corner when threatened with a DQ. Meanwhile, Johnny gets back into the ring, climbs up the turnbuckles and jumps off onto the dazed Lucios with a JOHNNY ON THE SPOT! One, two, three, that's it.
WINNERS in 5:46 by pinfall...The Chickenshit Heels!
Phantos runs into the ring to give those darn cheaters what-for, but Johnny and AA bail, having the referee raise their arms outside the ring. Phantos finally collapses out of exhaustion, clutching his special parts in previously withheld pain.
IHOP vs. TEAM FuEL– OOWF Campeonas de Trios Title MatchThe ring announcer informs everyone that it’s time for the Campeonas de Trios Title Match, which brings out The International House of Pain–Skurge, SYB & The Amnesiac–all sporting their shiny title belts. They’re taking their time getting to the ring, and they’re interrupted by a new set of pyro—apropos for their opponents. The lights come up, and "Fuel" by Metallica kicks in over the PA system. The IHOP members look to the stage, but no one appears. IHOP gets a little concerned, looking around in the aisle way for their opponents. The music fades, and no one has appeared. IHOP’s concern turns to confidence, and they’re all smiles as they start walking to the ring.
They stop about halfway there to start jaw jacking with a few fans, and suddenly Firewoman, Chris Evans & Bryce Larson hop the guard rail and jump all three on the floor! Chairshots are in order for Skurge & The Amnesiac, leaving SYB alone and surrounded by all three members of FuEL. Firewoman kicks SYB in the gut, and Evans rolls him into the ring. SYB makes it to his feet and the ref calls for the bell! Larson springboards off the top with a dropkick that sends SYB down! Firewoman immediately locks in the Last Chancery, hitting one knee to the head before jumping over. It seems like SYB is going to tap when Skurge and The Amnesiac make their way back to the ring to break up the submission move. They are then cut off by Larson & Evans, respectively. Larson connects with an STO near the corner on The Amnesiac, and Evans ducks a clothesline by Skurge, dropkicking him in the back of the knee. Larson & Evans cross each other, with Larson connecting with a Shining Wizard to a kneeling Skurge, knocking him out of the ring, and Evans baseball sliding into Amnesiac’s head, sending him to the floor on the opposite side. Fire stomps SYB in the corner as Larson & Evans cross paths again, hitting stereo Tope Suicidos on opposite sides of the ring, taking out Skurge & Amnesiac on the floor.
Firewoman pulls SYB out of the corner, stomps on his head one more time before bounding up the corner turnbuckles. Best. Fire. Sault…EVER! Firewoman makes the cover…1…2…3!
WINNERS in 1:54 (bell to bell, not counting the pre match attack) and NEW OOWF Campeonas De Trios Champions – FuEL (Firewoman pnfall on SYB following a BFE)
Russ: Razz, it seems like FuEL came into this match with a definite plan!
Razz: While you have to question their tactics, you can’t argue with their effectiveness.
Russ: It may not be fair, but it’s official…
Razz: That’s right Russ, like how they did it or not, we have new Trios champions, and they are FuEL!ECOSYSTEM vs. NAYR – OOWF Onslaught Championship Match"Mr. Newsman" by Dir En Grey hits the PA System, and Eco comes out to a rather mixed reaction. BRICK~! follows closely behind him, and the audience goes nuts with cheering.
Audience: BRICK~! IS AWESOME! *clap clap clap clap clap*
Russ: It's well known that the Welsh fans of all sports have traditionally embraced anthropomorphic bricks as kindred spirits!
Eco, who is perfectly happy having the audience chanting for BRICK~! instead of booing him, situates himself in a ring corner. Nayr then comes out to some more raucous cheering, which gets louder as he hands out free Mountain Dew to the fans. He gets in the ring, offering his last Mountain Dew to BRICK~! but DOESN'T HAVE ONE FOR ECO! Eco takes this as a clear sign of disrespect.
Ecosystem and Nayr lock up in the middle of the ring. Eco sends Nayr flying with an arm drag, and jumps up and down as though he has executed the greatest move in the world. Nayr, annoyed, charges Eco, to which Eco responds with a drop toehold. Eco, understandably excited at having successfully executed TWO offensive maneuvers, runs out into the audience and starts high-fiving fans.
Ref: GET YOUR ASS IN THE RING!
Eco: I'M CELEBRATING!
Ref: I WILL COUNT YOU OUT!
Eco: Oh.
Eco slides back into the ring and is immediately stomped by Nayr. Eco grabs the leg out from under Nayr and attempts an ankle lock, but Nayr flips over and kicks Eco into the turnbuckles. Nayr catches Eco coming off with a snap suplex! Another snap suplex! The crowd begins to count.
Crowd: One! Two! Three!
And then they stop, because most of the crowd is not smart enough to successfully count any further.
Regardless, Nayr is going for a fifth, until Eco manages to shove him off into the corner. Nayr hops up and attempts a backwards-jump cross body, and Eco attempts to catch him. Given that Nayr is quite agile and Eco is not very big, this ends up with Nayr on top of Eco. However, he only gets a one-count before Eco gets the shoulder up.
Nayr whips Eco into the ropes, but Eco holds on and stays there. Nayr runs at Eco with a lariat, but Eco throws himself to the ground and Nayr trips, falling through the ropes.
Russ: A rather unorthodox moveset by Eco in this match!
Razz: You mean lame and shitty to watch?
Russ: But in a really effective way!
Eco goes to the top turnbuckle, looking down at Nayr sprawled outside the ring.
Eco: Shit, that's actually a long way down.
Eco climbs back off the turnbuckles and waits for Nayr to get back in the ring.
Nayr obliges, and Eco tries to jump him. Nayr reverses, goes behind Eco and executes a German suplex. Eco starts flopping around like a fish out of water, so much so that Nayr has to let go. Nayr grabs Eco's arm and locks in a cross-armbreaker.
Meanwhile, BRICK~! is outside and trying to start a chant.
BRICK~!: Let's go Eco! *clap clap clap clap clap*
Audience: BRICK~! IS AWESOME! *clap clap clap clap clap*
BRICK~!: Ugh.
Eco gets his other arm to the ropes and Nayr has to break the hold (the first rope break). Eco walks through the ropes to the outside. Nayr, pissed, bounces off the ropes and goes for a suicide dive, but is caught by Eco and flipped backwards into the crowd.
Little Child: Your boot hit my face, stupidhead!
Nayr climbs back through the audience and makes it to the ring where Eco catches him with a dropkick, sending him back out to the floor. Eco hops up to the top turnbuckle again.
Eco: Shit, why am I up here again? Shit shit shit...
This time, Eco actually DOES jump, with a seanton splash on Nayr. Both wrestlers are obviously hurt, but Eco gets back up first, lifting Nayr up on his back and stepping on top of the barricade. Rather than hurl him to the floor, he launches Nayr as far as he can back into the audience and runs into the ring.)
Different Little Child: OW!! What's your problem?
Nayr: (grunting) Not my idea.
Meanwhile, Eco has scurried back into the ring. The referee is up to a five count as Nayr gets up. However, Nayr struggles to stumble through lines and lines of drunken Welsh fans packed together. Just when he looks like he will make it back to the ring, he slips on a massive pool of beer and just fails to answer the count.
WINNER in 7:32 by COUNTOUT....Ecosystem!
Ecosystem grabs his title and celebrates as though he has won the Super Bowl, hugging the ref and crying. Super Mario runs out to the ring and gives Eco a giant star with eyes in congratulation.
Crowd: ECO'S A PUSSY! ECO'S A PUSSY!
BRICK~!: CUT THAT OUT!
Audience: BRICK~! IS AWESOME! *clap clap clap clap clap*
BRICK~!: Better.
Russ: Well, Russ, it looks like Eco used these drunken Welsh fans to his advantage!
Razz: You mean, he abused the rules and pussied out of actually having to fight any longer.
Russ: Well, yes.
KZ vs. THE TEAM FROM DOWN UNDER – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchThe Team From Down Under comes to the ring first, and they do not look happy. Gatorbait slumps in the corner and stares up the aisle, while Outback Jack paces the ring like a caged animal. The champions' music plays, but there's no sign of kz, and Gator and Jack are instantly alert. They search the crowd, trying to predict the sneak attack, until Moosehead Jack and L.D. Williams stroll onto the stage, laughing. The Aussies lunge for the ropes, but referee Angelo Barros, risking life and limb, holds them back. The champions stroll down the aisle and drop their belts on the timekeepers table, then climb up on opposite sides of the ring. Outback Jack, dragging Barros, lunges at Moose, who greets him with a forearm to the face. Williams drops off the apron to avoid a punch from Gator, then grabs his legs and drags him out of the ring. Angelo sees that he has two men in the ring, realizes that's as close as he's going to get, and calls for the bell.
Moose keeps OBJ off-balance with punches and backs him into the corner. After a series of chops, he attempts an Irish whip but OBJ reverses and avalanches him in the corner. Moose stumbles out and OBJ grabs his arm, bearing him to the mat in a hammerlock. Moose struggles, but can’t throw the bigger man off, and ends up dragging himself to the ropes to force the break. OBJ gets to his feet and stomps on Moose’s shoulder, then wraps his arm around the middle rope and pulls until Barros threatens him with disqualification. OBJ releases the hold and lunges at Barros, who dances out of the way. OBJ turns back and Moose kicks him in the stomach, following with a DDT.
Outside the ring, Williams runs Gator into the ringside barrier and drives an elbow into his face. Her tries to send him into the ring post, but Gator reverses, and Williams hits the steel. Gator spins Williams around and nails a European uppercut, then drags him over to the railing. He presses Williams and drops him sternum-first on the railing. Gator delivers a series of chops and sets up a pile driver, but sees Moose covering OBJ, and drops Williams to dive in and break it up.
TTFDU send Moose across the ring and plant him with a flapjack. OBJ grabs Moose's arms in a surfboard, and Gator hits the ropes and dropkicks him in the face. Almost immediately, blood starts fountaining from Moose's nose. Barros sends Gator to his corner and asks Moose about giving up. Moose responds with a spray of bloody spittle. Barros produces a hankerchief to wipe the reply off his face, and turns to block Williams as he climbs into the ring. Gator tries to take advantage and darts into the ring, but Williams shoves Barros aside and launches himself at Gator, leveling him with a forearm. This distracts OBJ enough for Moose to break free.
Williams snaps Gator over with a suplex, then comes off the ropes and drives an elbow into his throat. Williams rolls to his feet, and right into a big boot from OBJ. OBJ sends Williams into the ropes and hits a backdrop, but Williams tries to reverse into a sunset flip. OBJ maintains his balance and drops on Williams for the pin, but Barros points out he's not the legal man. Grumbling, OBJ gets up and shoves Williams at Gator, who slams him into the corner. OBJ approaches Moose, who catches him with a punch to the midsection, followed by a rising elbow to the Jaw. He tries to set up a Heart Punch, but OBJ drives a head butt into his skull. Moose staggers, and OBJ hits the ropes and KILLS him with the Boomerang. Before OBJ can follow up, Williams breaks free of Gator, sprints across the ring, and hits a running Canadian Destroyer. Barros starts threatening disqualifications and sends Williams and Gator back to their corners before starting a ten count on OBJ and Moose.
Moose is up at four, and heads unsteadily to his corner. OBJ stirs as well, and drags himself to the TFDU corner. They make almost simultaneous tags and Gator and Williams storm into the ring. Gator ducks a punch from Williams and sweeps his legs. Gator drops an elbow but Williams rolls out of the way. Both men roll to their feet and Gator aims a kick at Williams' head but he ducks, sends Gator to the ropes, and levels him with a super kick. Williams takes Gator over with a suplex, then sits him up and delivers a vicious kick to the back. He places his knee in Gator's back and wrenches back on his neck. Williams releases the hold and drives his knee into Gator's back several times, then pulls him up and runs him into kz's corner. Williams directs Angelo's attention toward the TFDU corner, which allows Moose to wrap the tag rope around Gator's neck and choke him out. OBJ lunges into the ring, but Barros intercepts him, and Williams turns and rams his shoulder into Gator's stomach, doubling him over and adding to the pressure of the choke.
Barros turns back to the action just in time to see kz make the tag. Williams places Gator on the top turnbuckle and kz climb up. They set up a tandem superplex, but OBJ comes in and blasts past Barros. Williams see him coming and leaps off the turnbuckles, but OBJ knocks him out of the air with a fist to the midsection. Moose keeps Gator dazed with punches, then adjusts his position and hits the superplex, driving Gator into OBJ and knocking him down. Moose floats over and hooks both legs as Williams staggers over and kicks OBJ under the ropes to the floor., Williams follows him out and Angelo counts One...Two...Three.
WINNERS, and still OOWF Tag Team Champions, in 16:32, kz.
STANK vs. THE DEAD – OOWF Intercontinental Title Match The Stank/Dead rivalry continues in this next match, and it's for the OOWF Intercontinental Championship. The former Intercontinental champion, The Dead is announced first and he makes his way to the ring. Dead plays to the fans, but you can see he wants nothing more than to win his title back tonight. “Skin” plays over the PA, and Stank emerges from backstage, and is accompanied by the requisite pyro for someone of his stature. The crowd cheers their collective heads off for the new Intercontinental champion as Stank makes his way into the ring. He's all business tonight though, barely acknowledging Senior Referee Davis Hightower's existence in the ring as he stretches on one of the ropes. Finally the referee takes the belt and holds it high in the air in the middle of the ring, then calls for the bell, WE'RE UNDERWAY!
The Dead tries to snap off a Jumping Roundhouse Kick at the bell, but Stank was ready and grabs his leg before he can make contact. Dead tries for an Enziguri counter, but Stank has already driven his else into the side of Dead's knee, and the kick goes begging. Stank starts working the knee over with elbow and leg drops. Dead tries desperately to kick the big man off, but it's no use. Finally, Stank pulls Dead into a Single-Leg Boston Crab (*sigh*) to further work the knee over. Dead's in big trouble, because he's having a tough time budging with Stank on him. Dead at one point tries to dive for the ropes, and almost tears his leg out of its socket in the process. Finally, Dead realizes that it's a Single-Leg Boston Crab, so he just smashes his free foot repeatedly into Stank's face. This (obviously) breaks the hold, and Deadly crawls under the bottom rope and out to the floor, holding his knee, obviously in pain.
Stank tries to recover from the repeated kicks to the grill, and does so, finally shaking the cobwebs out. He sees Dead down on the floor out of the ring. He grins and hits the far ropes, running full speed! He wouldn't! No, he wouldn't. He teases the Suicide Dive and laughs his ass off, holding on to the top rope. Dead is not amused, and jumps up to sweep Stank's feet out from under him with his arm. Stank lands on the back of his head, and Dead leans back on the barrier, now laughing his ass off. This time, STANK is not amused, and he slides under the bottom rope holding the back of his head saying something to the effect of “Do you think that's funny?” Clearly Dead does and tells him as much, and Stank responds by SPEARING Dead and just riddling him with lefts and rights. Soon, however, Stank punches himself out and is winded. Besides, Hightower is counting, so Stank lumbers back to the ring, rolls in, and rolls back out, breaking the count. He turns back toward Dead and Dead CLOSES THE CASKET on Stank! Stank is rocked and crumbles into the barrier. Dead takes a knee and a close-up shot shows a bloody nose where Stank was punching him moments ago.
Dead rolls in to break the count, and rolls back out to size up the situation. He gets a loopy Stank to his feet, and straightens him up with some big Knife-Edge Chops! After four of these, Stank is doubled over against the barrier and Dead rolls into the ring. Hightower starts counting. Dead looks at Stank from inside the ring, then one-hops the ropes landing easily on the apron. It looks like he's measuring Stank. Oh, he is, because he NAILS him with a SPRINGBOARD DDT FROM THE APRON TO THE FLOOR! Stank is DONE! Dead didn't land quite right however, and appears to have tweaked his knee, and HE falls in a heap. Hightower counts. Neither man can really move. Hightower keeps counting. At 8, both men stir and dive for the ring, getting there just before the count of 10. Dead tries to cover, no way, not even a 1 count. Dead is favoring one leg as he stands, and Stank has that glassy-eyed look. Stank takes a few steps toward Dead, but Dead hits a Drop Toe Hold, and Stank caught his throat on the top rope! He rebounds back, and Dead CLOSES THE CASKET on the back of his head, and Stank falls outside again. Dead starts to run toward the far ropes but pulls up. Obviously the knee is bothering him. He goes back to the rope and spots Stank. He SLINGSHOTS over the top rope with a Plancha and STANK CATCHES HIM!
Stank LAWN DARTS The Dead into the ring apron, and then tosses him under the bottom rope. Dead is in a bad way. Stank takes his time getting back into the ring, and goes right after Dead, pulling him up. He gets him up. Way up. He's got him up for a Delayed Vertical Suplex, and Dead slips out the back! He tries to Close the Casket, but Stank grabs his leg. Dead tries for an enziguri, but Stank is able to duck it. He tosses Dead into the corner and HAMMERS him with a Splash! Stank lifts The Dead onto the top turnbuckle. He picks him up and just DESTROYS him with the CRADLE TO THE GRAVE! It's over.
WINNER in 14:16 by PINFALL...Stank!
POE vs. SPIN HANSEN – OOWF World Heavyweight Title Match“More Human Than Human” starts up, and Spin Freakin’ Hansen enters the arena. Although he’s looking a little less human than human, after Sunday’s brutal dungeon match. He’s moving a bit more slowly than usual, but does get into the ring so he’s ready to go. The lights dim, and “Mauseum and Escape” starts. Poe appears at the entrance, no duster, but bloody towel over his head. His usually long Undertaker-esque entrance is even longer, as he also is still recovering. Both men get into the ring, and appear to be trying to hide their respective weak spots from each other as they stretch and what not. Finally, the referee gets the two men together, shows the World Championship Belt to both of them, and to the crowd, and does all that usual stuff. He calls for the bell and we’re off.
The men stare at each other, circling, trying to figure out where the injuries from Sunday are. Poe strikes first, hammering at Spin with forearm strikes, driving him backward. He hits a big clothesline and knocks Spin over the ropes, and onto the floor. Spin lands hard and hesitates on getting up. The referee beings the count, and slowly, Spin gets to his feet. But just as slowly, Poe has rolled under the ropes and down to the floor. Spin runs at him, and Poe deftly sidesteps, grabbing Spin’s arm and throwing him right into the ring post. Poe grabs him as he bounces off, subdues him some more with some punches and a knee to the gut. He rolls Spin back into the ring and follows him. He tries to put some foot stomps to him, but after the second one, he doesn’t get the third. Spin grabs Poe’s foot – and yes, it’s that foot – and twists it. The pain shoots through Poe’s leg almost visibly, and he goes down. Spin has him in an ankle lock, and then transitions into a cloverleaf. He twists on the ankle and the leg, and the referee asks Poe if he wants to tap. Poe shakes his head, clearly in a lot of pain. But it’s not painful enough as Poe manages to pull himself a few feet to the ropes. The referee begins the count for the break, and at about 4.5, Spin releases. Poe pulls himself up on the ropes, and tries to get the feeling back into his legs. Spin comes from behind and grabs him for a release suplex. He hooks the leg and the referee counts one-two….Poe gets his shoulder up. Spin backs off, and Poe gets to his knees. Spin comes in for another hold, but Poe is not as out of it as he appears. He uppercuts Spin under the ribs, right where the spikes of the Iron Maiden were. Spin falls back, and Poe gets to his feet. But Spin has recovered, and throws a right. Poe absorbs it and answers with his own right. The two men exchange punches like a hockey fight on slow motion. Once they’ve hit a predictable rhythm, Poe changes and shoulder blocks right into Spin’s sore ribs. The force opens the scabs from the puncture wounds, and they begin to seep blood. He grabs Spin and flips him in a belly-to-belly suplex and bridges for a pin. The referee counts one-two….no! Spin kicks out. The two men get up…slowly….Spin runs the ropes and tries a bulldog on Poe, but Poe ducks it. Spin bounces off the opposite ropes and bounces back into Poe with a flying lariat. Poe goes down and Spin pounces, but doesn’t even get a good pin before Poe has repositioned himself. Both men are up again, and again Spin runs at Poe, but Poe ducks, and back body drops Spin back over the ropes again. Poe smiles at the crowd smugly, but Spin rises and gets into the ring. He runs at Poe from behind this time and shoves him into the ropes. He runs back, bounces off, and then baseball slides Poe out of the ring. Now it’s Spin’s turn to gloat, but Poe slowly gets back up as the referee counts. But he’s got something in his hand from beneath the ring. It’s a crowbar! The referee sees it and steps between Poe and Spin, admonishing Poe to drop the crowbar. Finally, he grabs it from Poe’s hands and tosses it into the Finlay position (the corner). Spin and Poe slow it down a bit more, and circle each other. They do a traditional lock up, now, armlocks, reverses, shoulder taps. Poe tires of this, reverses a hold and hits a lungblower. Spin lands over in the corner. Poe grabs Spin’s legs, and gets him into the Desert Scorpion, but as he is turning him over, he apparently doesn’t notice that Spin landed in the corner with the crowbar. Spin swings, but just missed Poe, Poe catapults him out of the corner and the crowbar drops to the mat. Poe sees it and snarls, and picks it up. The referee sees him with the weapon and warns him that if he uses it he will be disqualified, but Poe ignores him. As soon as Spin stands up, Poe BLASTS him with the crowbar, the referee turns and immediately calls for the bell.
