OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Amsterdam, New York
NAYR vs. THE AMNESIACWe quickly cut to the ring where Nayr the Halfling Paladin slides under the bottom rope, climbs the turnbuckles and soaks the cheers of the fanskids. The lights suddenly change to a dark blue and red, and Alice in Chains "I Can't Remember" plays out over the PA system as The Amnesiac makes his way to the ring. The referee calls for the bell and we are underway!
Amnesiac motions to lock up with Nayr, but Nayr rolls under, hits the rope and dropkicks Amnesiac in the knee as he turns around. With Amnesiac down to one knee, Nayr nails him with a knee to the face, sending Amnesiac to the outside. Amnesiac shakes off the effects, only to eat a Tope' Suicido from Nayr on the floor! Nayr celebrates with the fans in the front row as the crowd goes nuts.
Nayr rolls Amnesiac back in the ring, and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Nayr flips off the top with a 450 splash, but Amnesiac gets the knees up! Nayr curls up in pain, allowing Amnesiac to hit an Oklahoma Roll for 2. Amnesiac immediately locks in an arm bar (ARMBAR!) on Nayr near the center of the ring. Nayr fights through the pain, and but seems closer and closer to tapping. After over a minute in the move, Nayr gets himself up and rolls through, but Amnesiac holds on, floating over with Nayr, completing the roll with the arm bar still intact. Nayr seems poised to tap, but the roll got him close enough to reach the ropes with his far foot, forcing the referee to break the hold.
Amnesiac continues to work over the arm on the mat, pulling it every-which-way to inflict more pain on Nayr. Amnesiac looks to lock in the arm bar again, but Nayr rolls into a sunset flip style pin fall, getting two. Nayr hits a Step-Up Enziguiri, and Amnesiac staggers back to the corner. Nayr charges, hitting a double knee to the chest. Amnesiac seems to be in trouble, so Nayr plays to the crowd a little and charges for a second set of knees. Amnesiac moves, sending Nayr knees first into the top turnbuckle, then over the top and onto the apron. Amnesiac grabs Nayr, drags him back through the ropes, planting him into the canvas with "Pure Amnesia" Hangman DDT. It's all academic after that one...1...2...3.
WINNER in 8:14: The Amnesiac ("Pure Amnesia" Hangman DDT pin fall)
OOWF Invitational Tag Team Tournament – Round 2[/u]
IHOP vs. TEAM TEAMIHOP, accompanied by the Lovely and Talented Dorothy Mantooth, enter the arena first. Skurge slides into the ring while SYB pauses at ringside to berate some fans. He gives that up and rolls into the ring as “This is Halloween” plays and Team TeAM make their entrance. Ecosystem and Tytan drink in the fans cheers as they walk down the aisle. Team TeAM climb in the ring and face off with IHOP, and words are exchanged. Referee Angelo Barros steps between them, sends the teams to their corners, and calls for the bell. Eco and SYB choose to start off for their teams, and we're underway.
They circle and lock up, and Eco backs SYB into the corner. Eco with a clean break. SYB hauls off and slaps him across the face. Eco smiles, and SYB backpedals. Eco hits a blistering chop, followed by another, and another, backing SYB to the ropes. Irish whip, and Eco levels SYB with a clothesline. SYB scrambles to his feet and Eco kicks him in the gut and takes him over with a suplex. Eco hits the ropes and drives an elbow into SYB's throat. He covers, and gets a two count. Eco drags SYB off the mat and SYB drives his head into Eco's stomach. He follows up with a low blow out of the referee's view, then pops to his feet and snaps off a DDT. SYB rolls to his corner and makes the tag.
Skurge sprints across the ring and leaps, driving his elbow into the back of Eco's neck as he starts to get up. Skurge follows up with kicks to the midsection, then drags Eco up and sends him to the ropes – Spinebuster! Skurge covers, but Tytan is in to break it up. Barros forces Tytan out of the ring, giving Skurge the opportunity to drag Eco to the IHOP corner, where SYB wraps the tag rope around his throat. Skurge gets in some punches to the body, then makes the tag as Barros turns around. Skurge drags Eco from the corner and lifts him up as SYB sprints across the ring for their version of the Hart Attack. Tytan pulls down the top rope, however, and SYB topples out to the floor. Tytan drops off the apron, grabs SYB, and slings him into the ringside barrier. He picks SYB up and drops him throat-first into the railing, then slides into the ring.
When SYB doesn't come back, Skurge nails Eco with an inverted atomic drop, then levels him with a clothesline. He turns around as Tytan slides into the ring, and gets destroyed by a spear. Tytan bounces to his feet, scoops Skurge up, and slams him to the mat. Tytan slings Skurge across the ring and plants him with a power slam. Tytan hooks the leg automatically, but Barros refuses to count, pointing out that neither man is legal. Eco, meanwhile, has regained his feet. Team TeAM sends Skurge to the ropes, and Tytan elevates him as Eco comes off the ropes – 3D! Barros has had enough and orders Tytan out of the ring as Skurge rolls out to the floor. SYB slides into the ring behind Eco and nails him with a forearm to the back of the head. He kicks Eco hard in the stomach to roll him over, then stands on his throat. Barros counts, and SYB waits until 4.9 to step off. He drags Eco to his feet and slings him hard into the corner. Eco stumbles forward, and SYB drives a knee into his extreme lower abdomen, then turns him around and slams his face into the middle turnbuckle as he reaches out to tag Skurge.
Skurge, still feeling the effects of the 3D, rocks Eco with forearms, then pushes him into the corner and drives his shoulder into his midsection. He picks Eco up, gorilla presses him, and slams him to the mat. He tags SYB, who climbs to the top rope. SYB goes for the double stomp, but Eco rolls out of the way. SYB staggers when he lands, and Eco rolls him up from behind, getting one before Skurge is in to break it up. Tytan is in as well, and nails Skurge with a clothesline that sends him over the ropes. Barros sends Tytan back to his corner as Eco and SYB get to their feet.
SYB takes a wild swing and Eco dodges, turning and sweeping his legs. Eco tries an Irish whip, but SYB reverses. SYB swings the Hebrew Hammer, but Eco avoids it, puts on the breaks, and nails SYB with a super kick. Eco grabs SYB's arm before he hits the mat and levers him up and into Team TeAM's corner. SYB hits the corner face-first, and bounces back into a backstabber by Eco. Eco rolls to his feet and makes the tag.
Tytan slings SYB to the ropes and drops him with a big boot. Skurge comes in and runs into a big boot as well. Tytan tosses SYB into the corner and Eco holds him in place while Tytan grabs Skurge and drives him into the corner as well. Tytan gets a running start and spears both men in the corner. Skurge stumbles forward and Eco clotheslines him on the top rope, then drops to the floor and drags Skurge to the outside. Tytan grabs SYB, sets him on the top turnbuckle, and KILLS him with the Crash and Burn. Tytan covers, and Barros makes the academic three count.
WINNERS, in 14:36, Team TeAM.
FIREWOMAN & STANK vs. TEAM FUELThe lights dim and red spotlights go through the arena, while a big spray painted V appears on the screen. Firewoman's theme "Flame On" plays as Firewoman and Stank appear to the boos of the crowd. They walk to the ring soaking it up, and roll in. Stank makes the universal sign for "the belt goes here."
Russ: I gotta wonder about this match, Razz. Firewoman asked Evans to lie down so that the official members of The Five can advance in the tournament, but that didn't go over so well.
Razz: I guess Evans isn't the sheep he appears to be. Of course, he could still change his mind, especially with the increasingly bizarre behavior of his partner, Larson.
Russ: You have a point. If they want to stay allied with The Five, they may want to rethink their earlier refusal. As if it was written this way, Team Fuel shows up, with Metallica playing in the background. They get their share of boos too, even though they seem to be less vicious. Evans comes to the ring a bit ahead of Larson, who follows behind with a mirror. He appears to be looking in the mirror and arguing with himself. They get into the ring, and the referee grabs the mirror, much to Larson's dismay. We call for the bell and we're off with Evans squaring off against Stank.
Evans is smart enough to know that the bigger you are, the weaker your knees, and so he starts off with a variety of knee-related offense. This cuts Stank down to size early, and Evans knocks him over backward with an elbow. He bounces from the ropes to a leg drop, then gets up and hits a standing moonsault. He makes a cover, but that's of course only a one count at this point in the match. Evans is satisfied with his work, though and tags in Larson. Larson comes in a house of fire (no pun intended) and attacks the now-standing Stank with chop after chop after chop. He gets Stank into the corner, and then runs back for a drop kick to the knees. Stank is again down to one knee, shaking the cobwebs from his head. Larson runs back in for a shining wizard and connects. Stank is in trouble, and Firewoman is stretching her hand out as far as possible. Larson is excited as hell, and runs a lap around the ring, before leaping for his second shining wizard, trying to hit the Harry, Ron and Hermione. But Stank isn't in as much trouble as it appears, and he grabs Larson midair around the waist in a big bear hug. Stank gets to his feet, and squeezes the life out of Larson. He runs and plants Larson back-first into the neutral corner. Larson crumples, but Stank picks him up and Spine busters him to the mat. The sound echoes through the arena, and Stank stares down menacingly at Larson. He foot stomps him, and then turns to tag in Firewoman.
Firewoman comes in and stalks Larson as he lays there on the mat. Finally, Larson pays attention, and sees he's meeting Firewoman. He instantly backward crab walks into the corner and does the "Time out" sign. Firewoman smiles and follows him, as the referee tries to explain to Larson there are no time-outs in wrestling. She grabs Larson by the hair, and picks him up, guiding him not-so-gently to the center of the ring. She nails him with European uppercuts that knock him loopier than he already is. She goes for one too many though, and Larson gets a crazy look on his face. He grabs her arm and whips it around behind her, forcing her down to the mat in an arm bar. He cranks back on her arm, and then reaches down and grabs her leg, and pulls back. He puts his foot on her ribs, that are still sore from last week and uses that for leverage. Firewoman reaches toward the ropes, but can't reach. Firewoman cries out, but can't break the hold. The referee bends down to ask her if she wants to tap, and while his back is turned, Stank comes in and kicks Larson in the head. Larson goes down, breaking the hold. The referee turns and ushers Stank out of the ring. Firewoman rolls out of the ring to recover and we do not go to ads! Evans walks around to where Firewoman is and tells her to get in the ring. Firewoman looks at him as if she can't believe it, as the referee keeps counting. Evans continues to berate her, and finally she lets loose with the Bitchslap from Hell. She rolls in the ring and goozles Larson and Evans is sprawled on the floor.
Firewoman tosses Larson backward and leaps for Stank's outstretched hand, making the tag. Stank comes in and picks up Larson and tosses him across the ring, close to the ropes. Stank runs the ropes, jumps, and lands ass-first onto Larson. It's the Stankonia 2.0! He goes for the pin, but Larson is conscious enough to put his foot on the ropes. Stank gets up and walks around the ring, as Larson keeps his foot on the rope, to buy him some time. Firewoman has recovered and asks Stank to be let back in, and he obliges. Firewoman is legal. Meanwhile Larson has rolled toward his corner, and Evans has tagged in. Firewoman looks as if she's been waiting all night for this, and runs at Evans. Evans sidesteps her so she hits the ropes, and she comes back out with a lariat. Evans falls, but grabs her leg and twists her at the knee, so she falls as well. Evans tries for a quick roll up, but Firewoman kicks out easily. Both are up in a flash, and Evans goes for the Super kick. Firewoman catches it, but Evans leaps of the other leg and hits the enzuguiri. Firewoman falls, and Evans goes for the pin again, but it's another one-count. He protests to the referee, but Firewoman kips up. She surprises Evans from behind with a drop kick. She "helps" him up by the hair, and lands a Textbook DDT. Not content with that for the pin, she gets the arms back, and hooks his legs, setting him up for the Firestomp. But Larson doesn't like this and comes in to break it up. This brings Stank in. Stank muscles Larson over to the corner, and gets him up into the Fireman's Carry! Firewoman climbs the rope to the top of the corner, while Evans is still out of it on the mat.
Russ: I think I know what's coming. We're going to Skip a Generation, Razz
Razz: It's impressive how quickly Stank and Firewoman have developed this chemistry. I think they may go all the way in this tournament.Firewoman leaps from the turnbuckle to Larson's back and moonsaults off. Stank finishes the Stank U as Firewoman hits....the MAT!! EVANS MOVED!!! Stank is busy with Larson, and Evans grabs Firewoman while she's trying to recover into a Schoolboy..er...Schoolgirl Roll up! The referee makes the count...one....two....THREE!
WINNERS in 27:48 – Team Fuel
After the match, Evans and Larson celebrate their upset victory, while Stank shakes his head. Firewoman, however, glares daggers at Evans. The PAs fire up, but it's not Metallica's "Fuel" that we hear. It's Ministry's "Scarecrow," and Moosehead Jack and LD Williams come to the ring. They roll under the ropes and surround Team Fuel with four of the Five's members. Stank, Moose, and LD stare at Evans and Larson who stand back to back, ready for a fight. Moosehead Jack makes the first move, and reaches out his hand....and shakes Evans's hand. LD does the same to Larson, and then Stank offers his congratulations to both. There is much slapping of backs and high fiving, as Firewoman continues to glare. Moosehead Jack looks at her, and says "C'mon....just do it." She keeps glaring, and then her face softens a bit, and she extends her hand to Evans. He hesitates, and then takes it. They shake hands, and then hug. Awww.... Evans and Larson are placed in the middle and Fire and Stank raise Team Fuel's hands in victory.
Russ: Well, I guess all's fair in wrestling, and even though they competed fiercely in the ring, they're still allies.
Razz: Yeah, if you believe that, Russ, I have some barbecue sauce to sell you.ALEXANDER DARLING & DAVIN MORELAND vs. THE MIDNIGHT SONSThis is one that everyone has looked forward to all week. Even though The Sons and both Darling & Moreland have similar goals it won’t matter this week as their paths cross. All 4 men have The V in their sites, but neither team can afford to look beyond their opponents. The Sons are multiple time tag team champs and Alex & Davin put together an impressive run of their own before their team crumbled from distrust. That may be the aspect that turns this bout, but we won’t know until the match happens. And coming down first to Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” are the members of Drink & Destroy. DH Magnusson and Spin Hansen step out from the back and there is a massive pop for them from the fans in New York. DH and Spin make their way down to the ring and slap the hands of all the fans in attendance. They get into the ring and await their competition tonight. “Killing in the Name” by Rage Against the Machine kicks in and the former team known as Run DEA step onto the stage. The lovely Darling sisters accompany them down to the ring. A nice pop for Run DEA as well tonight even for New England’s Moreland. Darling and Davin are ignoring each other as usual, but are acknowledging the fans as they get into the ring. Fall River’s Own Angelo Barros calls both teams to the center to go over the rules. He sends both teams to their respective corner and calls for the bell.
Alexander and Davin are conversing and have seemingly ignored the ringing of the bell. DH and Spin have now made their way to the center of the ring to find out what the hell is going on. Alex and Davin finally nod at one another and turn back towards the center of the ring. They meet DH and Spin in the center of the ring and the former members of Run DEA extend their hands to the members of The Midnight Sons. Alexander shakes Spin’s hand first while Davin shakes Mags. Then they switch it up. The Sons look a little confused as Alex and Davin head back to their corner. Both guys step through the ropes and jump to the floor. The Sons are shocked as they watch Alex and Davin head back up the ramp. Barros has no choice but to start the count…and he gets to 10.
WINNERS in 0:25…The Midnight Sons.
KZ vs. RAVENNA BLUE & THE DEADRavenna Blue and The Dead are announced and make their way to the ring. The crowd gives them a nice ovation. The lights dim and “Scarecrow” starts playing as a bloody V appears on the OOTron and kz storm the ring. Moose goes right after Ravenna, but she catches him with a spinning heel kick to the chest that stops him cold. LD Williams grabs Dead and throws him into the turnbuckle face first. LD unleashes some uber-violence on Dead while Ravenna pulls Moose up and tries a whip to the ropes, but Moose reverses it, follows Ravenna and clotheslines her over the top rope to the floor. Moose follows Ravenna to the outside and catches her with a boot to the face as she tries to get to her feet, then grabs her and tries to throw her over the guard rail into the crowd, but Ravenna leaps to the top of the guard rail, turns and leaps at Moose and takes him to the floor with a cross body block. The side of Moose’s head hits the bottom of the ring post and leaves a nasty gash that leaves blood pouring down the side of his head. As Moose lies there stunned, Ravenna slides back into the ring and grabs LD Williams from behind and hits a bridging German suplex for a two count. Williams kicks out and spins to his feet and Ravenna tries a kick, but LD catches her leg and hits a capture suplex that sends her across the ring. Dead calls for the tag on the opposite side, but LD cuts Ravenna off by dropping an elbow across the back of her head, then pulling her to the kz corner and tagging in Moose. Moose steps between the ropes and peppers Ravenna with lefts and rights, then wrings her arm and tags LD in. LD leaps from the second rope dropping an elbow across Ravenna’s repaired shoulder. LD tags Moose back in, and Moose hammerlocks the shoulder, then pulls Ravenna up and slams her to the mat, bounds off the ropes and drops a knee across her shoulder, then covers for a two count. Moose pulls Ravenna to her feet and lifts her up and drops her on his knee with a shoulder breaker, covers for another two count, then tags in LD Williams. LD catches Ravenna with another kick to the face, then pulls her up and sends her to the ropes and lowers his head a moment too soon and Ravenna catches him with a sunset flip for a one count, LD rolls through and rolls Ravenna up for a two count, when she kicks out, he pounces on her and tries to lock in the cross face, but Dead comes in, and POPS LD in the mouth with the CLOSE THE CASKET! LD falls to the mat and Ravenna starts crawling toward her corner with the fans screaming encouragement. Ravenna gets close, but LD is back on his feet….barely, and catches her by the leg and pulls her to her feet. Ravenna uses one leg to backflip from LD’s grasp, hit the ropes and take Williams down with a Bret Hart clothesline! Ravenna reaches out and makes the tag, and Dead explodes into the ring! He takes LD down with a punch, then ducks a charging Moose and hits a spinning heel kick that sends him to the corner. Dead pulls Williams to his feet and hits a sit out power bomb and covers, but Moose charges out of the corner and catches Dead with a knee to the back of the head. Moose pulls Dead to his feet while the referee is trying to get Ravenna out of the ring and BLASTS him with a heart punch! Dead turns and staggers right into a CANADIAN DESTROYER! Moose slips out of the ring and pulls Ravenna off the apron and they brawl around ringside, the referee turns around and sees the pin and counts one, two, three!
WINNERS in 10:11 – kz
After the match kz grabs their titles and head up the ramp. Inside the ring Ravenna checks on her partner who is struggling to his feet. Kz decides they need to re-introduce themselves, so they storm back to the ring, Moose BLASTS Ravenna in the face with a title, sending her out of the ring to the floor. LD catches Dead with a belt shot to the face as well as Moose slips out and grabs a chair. Moose grabs Dead and hits a CHAOS THEORY dropping the back of Dead’s head on the chair! LD is not going to be outdone though, he pulls Dead up and drags him to the apron and hits a CANADIAN DESTROYER FROM THE APRON TO THE FLOOR! Medics immediately rush to ringside as kz grab their titles and head up the ramp, greeted by the rest of the Five, sharing congratulations for a job well done.
MATT FOLZ vs. CONCRETE TG – OOWF Onslaught Championship MatchPure Wrestling Enthusiasts of the World rejoice! It's Onslaught Title time! 95% of the OOWF audience watching at home gets up to take a piss; but that 5% left is hardcore and uses the internets! Concrete Takaken Gryfon, the challenger, is out first to his Joe Satriani garbage. Of course, the crowd goes batshit and it's happy happy joy joy in Amsterdam! Crete acknowledges a few fans as he makes his way down and into the ring. He tests out the ropes as “Battle Without Honor or Humanity” by Tomoyasu Hotei kicks in. Folz steps out and he gets a mixed reaction from the crowd. He's not FIVE, but he doesn't act very face-y, so no one is sure as to what to do. They'll figure it out eventually. He seems to enjoy it as he motions that it’s all about the money, implying that that gimmick still exists. He gets into the ring and referee Mel Creech, calls them to the center of the ring and does the obligatory Onslaught Title rule breakdown. Satisfied they both understand basic English, he calls for the bell...WE'RE UNDERWAY!
The two men lock up in the center of the ring. They fight over control and it’s Crete in control as he pushes Folz back into the corner. Creech calls for a clean break and he gets one here in the early going from Crete. Back to the center of the ring, and they lock up once again, but this time it’s Folz who pushes Crete back to the corner. Creech calls for another clean break and it looks like he’s going to get one, but Folz wasn’t being sincere as he throws a knife edge chop. But Crete is too quick and ducks under, changing positions with Folz. And now it’s Crete firing away with backhand chops. The crowd is “WHOO”ing with each one and Folz chest is showing the effects. Crete takes Folz out of the corner with a snap mare and he fires a hard kick to the back. Crete stays on the attack as he hits the ropes and drops a knee right across Folz’ throat. Crete rolls through and he grabs hold of Matt’s arm and locks in a Fujiwara Armbar.
Folz is fighting it and he rolls through to get Crete shoulders on the mat, but Crete rolls up at two and he isn’t letting go of the hold. Folz is struggling, but he has enough power and he lifts Crete all the way into the air and stands up. Crete, wily vet that he is manages to transition from the Fujiwara Armbar into a SCAFFOLD! Folz is struggling and appears to be in trouble. He makes a desperate dive and...gets his hand on the bottom rope.
Matt Folz has used rope break #1. He has two remaining.Crete seems to be like a shark in water as he smells blood and he’s stalking Folz. But Matt knows his way around the ring and he grabs Crete by the trunks and sends him crashing through the ropes all the way to the floor. Folz tells Creech to start counting as Crete hit the guardrail hard on that not-so-graceful exit from the ring. Creech, counting maybe as fast as he ever has, gets to 3 before Crete is grabbing onto the ring apron. Folz doesn’t let him back in the ring as he executes a baseball slide sending Crete back into the guardrail. This time Folz isn’t content to leave him alone on the outside and he follows him out. He picks Crete up and SNAKE EYES him right on the guardrail. Ouchies. Creech is quietly suggesting from inside the ring that they get back in; but it doesn’t seem to matter to Folz who lifts Crete up and looks to hit another move on the guardrail. Crete, however, slithers off his back and hits a LUNGBLOWER on the floor. Both men are down for the moment as Creech remembers he's supposed to be counting. He’s at 4 when Crete is back to his feet and he attempts to toss Folz back in the ring, but Folz hits the bottom rope and bounces off…REBOUND LARIAT and Crete goes spinning inside out. That was pretty freakin' cool. Crete hits his back hard, and Folz rolls him back in the ring to right for the cover…1...2...no. This time it’s Crete who has the ring awareness to get his leg over the bottom rope.
Concrete TG has used rope break #1. He has two remaining.Folz jumps right back on the attack as he lifts Crete up in a vertical suplex position and he rotates him into a SITOUT POWERBOMB. Wow, Folz looks great tonight. Cover gets a loooong 2-count as the future hall-of-famer gets his shoulder up. It doesn’t stop Folz' attack as he starts working over the leg and ankle. He goes to work specifically on the leg with a ROLLING HALF BOSTON CRAB. And he’s got it locked on in the center of the ring. Here I was thinking you were awesome, Folz. I hate you now. Crete though, loves Lance Storm too much, and refuses to blast Folz in the face with his free foot. Sigh. He tries rolling through, but Folz is holding tight. Inch-by-inch now Crete is dragging Folz towards the ropes and it looks like he’s close but Folz leans back even more and it looks like Crete is about to tap. But noooooo, Crete gets one last burst of energy and grabs the bottom rope.
Concrete TG has wasted rope break #2. He has one remaining. Dumbass.
Matt Folz looks annoyed, but he looks to keep the momentum going as he grabs Crete in a half-nelson and he looks to be going for a Half-Nelson Suplex, but Crete somehow reverses into his own Half-Nelson, and destroys Folz with the CEMENT MIXER! Both men are down as Crete needs a few minutes to recover from the last few minutes where his leg, especially the ankle took a beating. He gets to his feet first and drags Folz with him before sending him crashing into the corner. He follows him in with a back handspring Muta elbow. Folz falls out of the corner and as he’s getting back to his feet Crete kills him with a RICKY STEAMBOAT CROSSBODY! Cover! 1...2...th..NO! If this were 1988 this match would totally be over though. Folz is able to barely kick out. Crete feels like the end is near and he tries a Walk-Up Moonsault, but he EATS CANVAS! Folz was able to barely roll out of the way and Crete’ back is exposed…REAR NAKED CHOKE! And he’s got it locked in! Crete is fighting and holding on, but there seems to be nothing he can do right now! Crete is in BIG trouble! Folz is wrenching back and Crete is desperately looking for a way out! But, ever the veteran and ring general, he gets it as Folz wrenches back on the choke once again. Crete rolls with it and flips them both over and Crete finally, barely, gets into the ropes.
Concrete TG has used rope break #3. He has zero remainingFolz lets go of the hold for a moment and looks to go for it again using the ropes as extra leverage. But, Crete rolls all the way to the floor. Folz follows him to the floor, and Crete jumps back onto the apron. He leaps off the second rope and hits another HUGE CROSSBODY! Folz may be out of it and Crete, feeling this is his chance slowly drags Folz back into the ring. Crete covers! 1...2...thre..NO! NO! NO! Folz got the rope!
Matt Folz has used rope break #2. He has one remaining.Crete shakes his head in frustration, but he goes back on the attack and that’s how the match goes for the next few minutes. Crete continues to go through his wide arsenal of moves, but Folz is able to fight through and barely kicks out anytime Crete goes for a cover. Crete is obviously getting more and more frustrated. He drags Folz to his feet once again and kicks him in the stomach…BACKWALL! That absolutely has to be it! Folz rolls a few feet away so it takes Crete an extra second to get there…1, 2, Thre....NO! NO! NO! NO! Once again Folz barely gets his leg on the ropes!
Matt Folz has used rope break #3. He has zero remaining.Crete hangs his head in disappointment as he thought that was it. He slams the mat as he drags Folz back to his feet once again. Another kick in the stomach and it looks like Crete's trying for another Backwall, but Folz slips out of it and he nails yet another chop-block to the back of Crete’s knee. Folz rolls to the corner and takes a few moments to try and get his bearings. He uses the ropes to drag himself to his feet and he picks Crete up. He spins behind Crete and locks in a full nelson that leads right to a vicious DRAGON SUPLEX. Folz bridges and Creech makes the count…1...2...NO! Crete barely rolls the shoulder. Now it’s Folz turn to be frustrated. He hits a body slam on Crete and climbs to the top rope hitting the DIVING HEADBUTT! That’s the set-up, and Folz goes to lock in the STF once again! Crete grabs the ropes, but is OUT OF ROPE BREAKS! Crete tries to use the ropes to shake himself free, but it's no use. Crete taps.
WINNER in 14:21 by SUBMISSION...Matt Folz!
Folz gets to his feet and is immediately cut down from behind by Firewoma! Fire puts the boots to Folz, then pulls him up and sends him to the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Folz ducks and rebounds with a Thesz press. Folz gets a few shots in, but kz is quickly in the ring and they hammer him to the mat. Firewoman gets to her feet and slides out of the ring and grabs the Onslaught championship and BLASTS Folz in the face with it, leaving Folz a bloody mess. Fire stares down at Folz, then looks at the bloody title. Team TeAM hit the ring and kz beat a leisurely retreat and head up the ramp.
POE vs. OUTBACK JACK – OOWF World Heavyweight Title Match Each man enters the ring with an intense amount of focus to their usual entrances. No screwing around with the fans this evening. Davis Hightower calls for the bell...and WE'RE UNDERWAY!
The two stare each other down in the middle of the ring. Poe begins to say something that is undecipherable because of the crowd noise. Outback Jack seems to smile for a moment and then takes a step back. Poe begins to laugh until Jack steps forward with a vicious punch that connects squarely to the side of Poe's head. Poe begins to backpedal as Jack continues to land haymaker after haymaker. Poe gets backed into the corner and Jack winds up for another punch. Poe somehow is able to duck the big right hand and gets himself out of the corner. Outback Jack turns around just in time for his jaw to meet the knuckles of Poe. Poe gains control and starts peppering Jack with rights and lefts. Now it's Jack who has his back to the corner, and Poe shows no signs of letting up. Jack's head snaps back from a brutal punch and Poe backs up and charges the corner. Jack manages to get a boot up, however, and makes solid contact with Poe's face, stopping him in his tracks.
Jack roars out of the corner and drops Poe with a back elbow. Poe quickly gets to his feet as Jack is charging once again, but this time Poe is a step quicker and takes Jack down with a drop toe hold. Poe follows up by dropping an elbow directly into Jack's sternum. Poe goes for another, but Jack rolls away and Poe catches nothing but mat. Both men get up to their feet and begin slugging it out once more. Jack gains the advantage and sends Poe into the ropes, but Poe comes leaping back with a flying forearm. Jack stumbles backwards but catches himself on the ropes and avoids going down. Poe runs in and tries to clothesline him over the top rope and onto the floor, but he's telegraphed it and Jack is able to lift him high for a back-body drop to the floor.
Poe looks like he's had the wind knocked out of him as he struggles to get to his feet. Jack makes his way to the outside and catches a semi-upright Poe with an overhand right. Poe stumbles backwards but somehow maintains his balance. Jack grabs Poe and tries to whip him into the barricade, but Poe reverses it and Jack crashes into it ribs-first. Poe picks up Jack and rolls him back into the ring. He follows and begins laying the boots to Outback Jack. Somehow Jack catches Poe's boot and shoves him away, allowing Jack to get back to his feet. Poe catches Jack in the stomach with a boot and attempts to whip Jack into the corner. Jack puts the brakes on, however, and instead pulls Poe back in towards him and delivers a devastation shoulder to Poe's face. Poe falls backwards clutching at his head, and soon blood begins to trickle from between his fingers. Poe props himself up on one knee and looks at the amount of blood covering his hands. Poe appears to have a severe cut under his right eye and a busted and bloodied nose.
Poe looks down at the mat where his blood is dripping and begins to smile. He gets to his feet and motions for Jack to "bring it". Jack obliges and the two slug it out. Apparently the blood has lit a fire under Poe, because he is firing on all cylinders. Jack is able to get a few punches in but right now the fight is being controlled by Poe. Poe sends Jack hard into the ropes, and Jack comes storming back with a clothesline. Poe ducks it and catches Jack on the bounce-back with a sick spinning back elbow that sends Jack reeling. Poe charges at Jack and tackles him. He throws punch after punch at Jack's head. Jack is trying to block as many as he can, but a good portion of the punches are finding their mark. The referee jumps in to break it up, and after a few more punches, Poe reluctantly backs off. Jack gets to his feet and he's doing some bleeding of his own. His lip and mouth are busted wide open and he's got a nasty bruise forming over his eye.
OBJ tries to use the break to his advantage, but it appears the Champ has had enough of this happy horseshit. Whip to the ropes...HIEROGLYPH! He pulls OBJ up, and destroys him with an OBELISK! Poe signals to the crowd that this match is, indeed, over. No shit. But, just to emphasize that point, he hoists OBJ up on his shoulder. Here we go...CRUCIFIXION! You could count to a million.
