OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Naples, Utah
FIREWOMAN vs. OUTBACK JACK vs. RAVENNA BLUE vs. CHRIS EVANSThe four participants are announced and make their way to the ring and wait in their corners. This is a tornado match, so all four will be legal at the same time. Firewoman glares at Chris Evans from across the ring, and as soon as the bell rings, she charges across the ring and attacks like a banshee. Fire hammers Evans with lefts and rights, Evans fires back with chops. While they fight, Ravenna and Jack approach one another cautiously and lock up, Jack goes behind Ravenna and takes her to the mat and tries a side head lock, but Ravenna gets to her feet and shoves him off and Jack takes her to the mat with a shoulder block on the rebound.
Meanwhile, in the corner, Evans has reversed Fire, so she is trapped in the corner now. He hammers her with forearms to the side of the head, then grabs her by the hair to pull her out of the corner, but Fire rakes the eyes, then takes Evans to the mat with a double leg take down. Fire slithers out of the ring and grabs Evans leg and wraps it around the ring post several times. Fire grabs Evans leg and applies a RING POST FIGURE FOUR! Evans howls in pain and the referee starts the five count for Fire to break it.
Meanwhile, back to Ravenna and Jack, Jack has Ravenna on the mat and tries an elbow drop, but Ravenna rolls out of the way and springs to her feet and catches Jack with a drop kick to the jaw as he stands up. Jack staggers to the ropes and falls between the ropes to the apron. He gets to his feet and sees Fire just breaking the ring post figure four before the referee calls for the DQ, and runs down the apron and leaps, dropping a knee across Fire’s chest! Fire writhes in pain as Jack gets to his feet and stomps away.
Inside the ring, Ravenna pulls Evans to the middle of the ring and hits a standing moonsault for a two count. Evans manages to kick out, but grabs his knee in pain. Ravenna pulls him up and sends him to the ropes, but on the rebound, Evans staggers and his knee buckles and he drops to the mat in pain. Ravenna moves in to check on him, and Evans rolls her up for a two count!
Jack shoots Fire back into the ring and she gets to her feet and staggers around a bit. Evans gets to his feet and waits for Ravenna to get up and lines her up for a super kick, but Ravenna ducks at the last second and Fire takes the kick right on the jaw! Fire goes down like she has been shot, Jack grabs Evans and sets him up for the CHOMP! But Evans fights it, and they tumble between the ropes to the floor. Ravenna climbs to the top rope and as Fire gets to her feet, hits DIAMOND DUST! Ravenna covers, hooking the leg hard and gets the one, two, three!
WINNER in 13:26 – Ravenna Blue
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. SEAMUS MCNASTYThis is probably not going to be a scientific masterpiece. Just a hunch. Seamus is announced first and comes to the ring while “Rebels of the Sacred Heart” blares over the PA system. The crowd roars their approval and sings along with the song, which brings a slight smile to Seamus’ face. “Scarecrow” plays and Moosehead Jack comes out, clearly in a foul mood, and storms the ring as the cheers turn to boos. Moose slides beneath the bottom rope and attacks, and he and Seamus trade hockey style punches to the face. Seamus gets the better of the exchange and Moose pulls him to the mat and they continue to brawl. Seamus once again gets the upper hand and Moose rolls out of the ring to the floor, staggering around grabbing the side of his head. Seamus follows him to the floor and grabs him and slams him face first into the guard rail. Moose turns around and Seamus clotheslines him over the guardrail into the crowd. Moose struggles to his feet and Seamus is about to hop the guard rail and attack again when Moose grabs a chair and throws it at Seamus, bouncing it off his skull. Seamus falls off the guard rail to the floor. Moose gathers himself and hops the railing and drops a fist between Seamus’ eyes, then uses an electrical cord to strangle Seamus. The referee seems to be allowing a lot of leeway in this one. Moose pulls Seamus to his feet and slams him face first into the ring post, Seamus bounces off the post and staggers and Moose takes him to the floor with a clothesline. Seamus comes up bloody and Moose rolls him into the ring and covers, but only gets a one count. Moose pulls Seamus up and hits a RANHEI and covers again, but Seamus kicks out at two. Moose snaps at the referee complaining about a slow count. Moose shoves Seamus into the corner and charges in trying for a clothesline, but Seamus explodes out of the corner and KILLS Moose with a clothesline of his own. Seamus grabs Moose and slams him into the turnbuckle, then sends him to the ropes and catches him with a power slam. Moose rolls out of the ring to the floor, but again, Seamus follows him. As Moose gets to his feet, Seamus grabs the chair that Moose bounced off his skull earlier and BLASTS him across the face with it. Moose goes down in a heap, and when we see him again, he is also a bloody mess. Seamus pulls Moose up and scoops him up and slams him onto the Irish Announce Table and climbs up with him. Seamus pulls Moose up and sets him up for the BLACK AND TAN, but Moose hits a low blow to save himself, and then pulls Seamus up for the GTSF! Seamus wiggles free and at this point, the table has had enough and it collapses beneath them, sending both men down into a pile of splinters. It doesn’t do much to slow either man down, they are on their knees in the wreckage of the table trading punches. Seamus grabs a piece of the table and blasts Moose in the face with it, Moose grabs a monitor and nails Seamus in the head. The referee has decided that this one is out of control (what gives him THAT idea?) and calls for the bell, and security.
WINNER – No Contest in 10:11
“Security” – which also looks suspiciously like some of the talent that Fire was toying with in the bar, runs to ringside and pulls the two apart before they kill one another. The crowd is not happy with this and a “LET THEM FIGHT” chant breaks out. They manage to drag the two men up the ramp, but they are still fighting off and on. The ring announcer decides to move things along and starts the next match.
LD WILLIAMS vs. BRYCE LARSONLarson is announced first and comes to the ring, looking a little confused as always. He passes the fighting Moose and Seamus and heads to the ring and slides under the bottom rope and poses to the cheers of the crowd. LD Williams is announced next, and as he is walking past the brawl, he nails Seamus on the back of the head with a forearm which allows Moose to drop him with a DDT on the concrete floor! The “security” finally separates them and LD smirks and he and Moose hold up the Five sign and LD heads to the ring. LD steps in the ring and the referee calls for the bell and we are underway! LD and Larson lock up and Larson grabs a side head lock, and LD sends him to the ropes and tries a knee to the gut on the rebound, but Larson leaps over LD’s leg and rolls him up for a one count. Larson springs to his feet and catches LD with a Steamboat deep arm drag and locks in an arm bar. LD gets to his feet and pushes Larson into the corner. The referee calls for a clean break, and gets it. LD backs away slowly shaking his arm. LD motions for Larson to meet him in the center of the ring, Larson charges out of the corner and LD takes him to the mat with a drop toe hold and grabs him in a cross face, raking his forearm across Larson’s face, drawing some blood from his nose. Larson manages to make it to the ropes to force the break. LD kicks him until he is on the apron, then pulls him to his feet and hooks him for a suplex to bring him back in, but Larson blocks it and catches LD with several knees to the gut, then springs over with a sunset flip for a two count. LD rolls out of it and BLASTS Larson with a clothesline, driving him to the mat. LD covers for a two count. Williams pulls Larson to his feet and hits a snap suplex in the middle of the ring, then goes to the corner and hits the flying Bret Hart elbow for another two count. LD pulls Larson to his feet again and sends him into the corner, but Larson hits the second rope and leaps, connecting with a spinning kick to LD’s jaw that sends him to the mat. Larson covers and nearly gets a three count, but LD rolls his shoulder at the last second. Bryce gets to his feet, and as LD stands up, he scoops him up and plants him on the mat, then heads to the corner and climbs the topes and hits a TWISTING 360 SENTON! Larson covers, but LD manages to roll his shoulder at two again. Larson shows a little frustration and heads to the top rope again, this time LD gets to his feet and climbs the ropes and catches Larson. LD Grabs him for a superplex and drops him across the top rope. LD then grabs him again and lifts him off the ropes, uses it for a springboard, and hits a SLINGSHOT BRAINBUSTER! LD looks at Larson and contemplates the cover, but then pulls him to his feet and hits a CANADIAN DESTROYER! LD covers and the referee makes the three count, then quickly motions for medics.
WINNER in 10:41 – LD Williams
As medics load Larson on a stretcher, keeping his neck in a brace, LD grabs a mic, and after several moments, he speaks.
You know……I have been in the OOWF for over five years, and I have accomplished just about everything a man can accomplish. World champion, tag champion, intercontinental champion……….but there is one title that has eluded me. I have never won the Onslaught Championship. Matt Folz, you have what I want. As we saw here tonight, I am not above taking someone out to get what I want. I may not be as bloodthirsty as Moose, or as calculating as Stank, but one thing I am, and one thing I will prove to you, I am the best. It’s nothing personal, it’s just business.<LD tosses the mic aside and leaves the ring>
MATT FOLZ vs. CONCRETE TG – OOWF Onslaught Championship Match"With Jupiter In Mind" fires up and perennial fan favorite "Concrete" Takaken Gryfon takes to the stage, with new partner Ravenna Blue in tow. The crowd loves them and goes wild. They settle into the ring, Ravenna handling cape duties, when "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" begins and Onslaught Champion Matt "Sportsguy" Folz makes his entrance. In the ring, the usual belt-championship-match traditions are observed, and then we are off.
Crete wastes no time with Folz, and gets him in an early hammerlock. Folz twists and turns to get out of it, but to no avail, because he hasn't slapped his shoulder twice yet! Finally, Folz does so, and is miraculously able to reverse out of the hold and flip Crete with an arm drag. Crete bounces back and charges, but Folz flips him with another arm drag. can he make it a third? Crete kips up and charges again, and Folz can indeed! This time he doesn't let go of the arm, and wrenches it hard behind Crete's back. He digs his knee into Crete's shoulder blade. Ravenna pounds on the mat to get the crowd into it, and Crete feeds off the energy. But so does Folz who is more determined than ever to make him tap out quickly. He lurches backward and hurls Crete into the ropes, and that had to have dislocated the shoulder. Crete climbs up the ropes, and Folz instantly goes over to attack. Crete clings to the rope and the referee signals
Crete has used his first rope break. The referee makes the count to get Folz to back off, but Folz appears more interested in how many forearms he can hit in a minute. The referee hits five and signals that
Folz has used his first warning. Folz then backs off, but just enough to let Crete step away from the ropes. He runs, and flies over the ropes as Crete drops down, pulling the top rope with him. He uses the momentum to slingshot himself over them, and lands right on Folz. Both men are down, and Ravenna runs over. The referee tells her to get back, and she does. Crete signals that he's okay, and turns to Folz, and hits a quick vertical suplex to the floor. He helps Folz up into a bear hug and runs him spine first into the ring post. Crete rolls Folz back in the ring, and gets his legs locked into the wheelbarrow, to try for Final Justice, but Folz's leg slips out. Crete still drops him, though not with as much force as it would have. Crete makes the pin anyway, but Folz gets a shoulder up. He kicks at Crete to free himself, concentrating on the possibly dislocated shoulder. Crete retreats to protect the shoulder, but then attacks, with a drop kick. Folz goes down on one knee, and Crete follows through with a Shining Wizard. He makes another pin, but Folz reaches out and grabs the ropes again.
Folz has used his first rope break. Crete backs off like a good heel, and Folz gets up. He charges, and Crete hits the drop toe-hold, and Folz lands. Crete pounces and goes to try to lock in the chicken wing for maybe the cement mixer? Doesn't matter, because Folz manages to elbow Crete, turn, and hit a DDT. He puts the boots to Crete, and then climbs up top for his Flying Headbutt. He dives, but Crete moves! Fortunately (or not, depending on who you are) Folz does see him move, so is able to just barely protect himself. Crete tries to pin him, but Folz nails him with a good right cross.
Folz has used his second warning, but it has the desired effect. Crete has no idea where he is. Folz locks in the STF, hard, and Crete is nowhere near the ropes. Folz applies a few elbows to the maybe-dislocated shoulder, and locks it in again, and finally Crete has no choice but to tap out.
WINNER in 14:04 – Matt Folz
THE MIDNIGHT SONS vs. TEAM TEAM – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchTeam Team is announced first and Eco and Tytan make their way to the ring. The crowd cheers them but they don’t seem to notice. Eco is as focused as we have seen him since he beat Poe for the World Title back in September, and Tytan is his usual menacing self. “Immigrant Song” plays and the crowd erupts as The Midnight Sons make their way through the fans to the ring. Spin and DH finally make it and hop the guard rail and step between the ropes. They eye Eco and Tytan and hand off the tag titles to the referee. Eco is going to start things for Team, and Spin will start for The Sons. The ref calls for the bell and we are underway! Eco and Spin meet in the middle of the ring and a stare down ensues. Eco calls for……a test of strength? When Spin raises his arm to comply, Eco switches arms. This happens several times and finally Spin gets frustrated and turns to bark at the referee, when he does, Eco kicks him in the gut and lays him out with an RKO! Eco rolls Spin over and covers, but Spin kicks out at two. Eco pulls him to his feet and throws him into the Team corner and tags in Tytan. Eco throws some shoulder blocks into Spin’s gut as Tytan comes into the ring. Tytan pulls Spin out of the corner and doubles him over with a kick to the gut, then hammers him with knees to the face. Spin crumples to his knees and Tytan gets a running start and nearly kicks Spin’s face into the twelfth row. Tytan covers, but Magnusson breaks it up at two. Tytan pulls Spin up and scoops him up and tries a power slam into the corner (RIP Dr. Death) but Spin slips off his back and shoves Tytan into the corner chest first. Tytan staggers backward and Spin catches him with a release German suplex, then tags in DH Magnusson. Magnusson comes in and grabs Tytan as he gets to his feet and takes him to the mat with a side Russian leg sweep and floats over for a two count, but Eco breaks it up. Spin comes in and he and Eco trade punches and it looks this one is going to break down out of control. While the referee is trying to get Spin and Eco separated Tytan ducks a Magnusson clothesline and takes him to the mat with a neck breaker. Eco quickly hops out of the ring and Tytan is able to make the tag. Eco comes in and complains to the referee to get Spin out of the ring. As the ref turns around to do that, Tytan nails Magnusson from behind with a forearm to the back of the head, as he staggers forward, Eco kicks him in the gut doubling him over, then plants him on the mat with a DDT. Eco covers, and the referee turns around to see the pin and counts one, two, thre…..NO! Spin gets back into the ring and breaks it up! Eco complains to the referee then pulls Magnusson to his feet and whips him into the Team corner, Eco charges in but DH KILLS him with a urinage! Maggs moves to go after Eco, but Tytan grabs him and they trade rights and lefts. This brings Spin back into the ring, the referee stops him and tries to send him to the outside. Spin is not happy with that and leaves the ring, runs around ringside, pulls Tytan off the apron and BLASTS him with a chair! The referee sees this and immediately calls for the bell, but that doesn’t stop them. Things break down from there with all four men brawling in and out of the ring. We get “security” out there again to restore order, they are busy tonight!
WINNERS in 12:41 by disqualification, Team Team
DAVIN MORELAND vs. STANK – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchStank makes his way to the ring first, ignoring the catcalls of the fans. He climbs into the ring and paces restlessly, stopping and glaring up the aisle as the champion makes his entrance. Intercontinental Champion Davin Moreland strolls confidently down the aisle, slapping hands and signing the occasional autograph. He climbs into the ring and stands toe-to-toe with Stank. Words are exchanged, and grow increasingly heated. Davin unstraps the belt and holds it up. Stank glances at it and returns his glare to Davin, who slaps him across the face. Stank recoils, and turns back to Davin with a look that would melt lead. Davin smirks, and Stank launches himself forward, lifting the champion off his feet and driving him into the ropes. Stank starts laying into Davin with punches as referee Junior Hale calls for the bell.
Stank sends Davin across the ring and levels him with a clothesline. He stomps on the champion, then scoops him up and slams him to the mat. Stank rebounds off the ropes and it looks like he’s going for the Stankonia 2.0, but Davin rolls away. Stank puts on the brakes, turns, and kicks Davin hard in the back. He follows up with a knee to the spine. He sits Davin up and plants a knee in his back, grabbing his arms and pulling backwards. Junior checks on Davin, who shakes his head and continues to struggle. He starts to pull his arms forward, and Stank , still holding the arms, gets his feet under him and drives his knee into Davin’s spine. Stank releases the hold and pulls Davin to his feet. Stank kicks him in the gut and hits a double underhook backbreaker, slamming Moreland across his knee. He hooks the leg, and gets a long two count.
Stank hauls Davin to his feet and sends him into the corner. He gets up a head of steam, but Davin dodges out of the way of an avalanche. Stank stumbles back from the turnbuckles, and Davin delivers a series of kicks to his legs. Stank teeters, and Davin rebounds off the ropes and drops him with a lariat. Davin gets in some kicks, then drags Stank to his feet and sends him to the ropes. He drops Stank with a back body drop, then comes off the ropes and drives an elbow into his throat. Davin covers, but only gets one. Davin springs to his feet and starts to pull Stank up, but takes a head butt to the stomach for his trouble. Stank gets to his feet and throws a right hand, and Davin fires back with a chop. They go back and forth, with Stank gaining the advantage and backing Davin into the corner. Davin sidesteps and hits a drop toehold, slamming Stank's face into the second turnbuckle. Davin bounces Stank's face off the turnbuckle repeatedly, until Junior backs him off. He waits for Stank to get up and turn around, and runs in to hit a Really Good Dia-Stank shoves Davin off and he slams into the canvas. Davin rolls to his knees, and Stank punts him in the stomach, rolling him over. Stank scoops Davin onto his shoulder, gets a running start, and drives him to the mat with a power slam. He picks Davin up and goes for the Southern Comfort, but before he locks it in Davin grabs his head and nails a stunner. Stank stumbles back, and Davin, on his knees, drags Stank onto his shoulders and hits something resembling a Stank-U. Davin falls on him and covers, but Stank rolls a shoulder before three.
Davin drags Stank to his feet and sends him to the ropes. Stank ducks a clothesline and rebounds off the opposite ropes, slamming full force into Davin. Moreland staggers, but manages to stay on his feet, and Stank grabs him and plants him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Stank hits the ropes and nails the Stankonia 2.0. He hooks the leg, and Davin barely manages to roll a shoulder in time. Stank drags Davin to his feet, and Davin fires back with shots to the stomach. Stank stumbles, then lunges forward and levers Davin onto his shoulders. Davin squirms free and lands behind him. Stank turns around and Davin kicks him in the stomach. Davin tries for the Hellevator, but Stank blocks. Stank reverses and lifts Moreland for a vertical suplex. Stank stalls at the top, and Davin shifts his weight. He manages to land on his feet behind him and Stank turns around – REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER! Moreland falls on him and hooks the leg, and Junior counts the three.
WINNER, and still Intercontinental Champion, in 17:27, Davin Moreland.
ALEXANDER DARLING vs. POE – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchPoe enters the arena first, with Selena by his side. The crowd attempts to boo him out of the building, but Poe is oblivious, striding to the ring with a snarl on his face. Poe climbs into the ring and removes his towel and duster, handing them to Selena who then steps to the outside. Poe turns to the aisle and glares, awaiting the champion. After a moment, the lights dim and ”Prelude 12/21” starts and Alexander and Alexis Darling step through the curtain. Alexander has the World Heavyweight Championship strapped around his waist, and stares at the ring, smirking at the former champion as he and his sister pause at the top of the ramp and drink in the cheers. As ”Princes of the Universe” plays, they walk slowly down the aisle. They reach ringside and Alex removes the title, holding it high and locking eyes with Poe. After a moment, Alex hands the belt to his sister, who kisses it and drapes it over her shoulder.
Poe snarls and sprints across the ring. Alex sees him coming and shoves his sister out of the way as Poe dives through the ropes. Poe slams into Alex and they go rolling up the aisle. Poe ends up on top and wails’ away on the champion, then drags him to his feet and pitches him into the ringside barrier. Poe scoops Alex up and drops him throat-first on the barrier, and then hops onto the apron. He runs across it and leaps – Alex dives out of the way and Poe crashes into the barrier. Alex rolls to his feet and pauses to clear his head before attacking with forearms to the kidneys, driving Poe to his knees. Alex hops onto the apron and waits for Poe to get up. He leaps – and Poe catches him in a bear hug. Alex drives his knee into Poe's midsection until he breaks his grip, then drops him with a DDT. Alex slides into the ring and out the other side, circling behind his opponent. As Poe gets to his feet, Alex clips his oft-injured ankle from behind, knocking him to the floor. Alex gets in some kicks before dragging Poe up and shoving him into the ring. Alex climbs onto the apron and vaults the ropes, driving a knee into Poe’s throat. With both men finally in the ring, referee Davis Hightower calls for the bell.
Poe sputters and coughs, and Alex kicks him onto his stomach. Alex grabs his arms – Curbstomp! Darling hangs on and hits two more for good measure, then rolls Poe over and covers. Hightower counts One…Two…Thr – Poe rolls a shoulder just in time. Darling grabs Poe’s head and starts nailing him with forearms, then drags him to his feet. He tries for the brain buster, but Poe blocks and reverses into a delayed vertical suplex. Alex is up first, and levels Poe with a Shining Wizard as he gets up. Darling covers, but Poe again kicks out before three. Alex sits Poe up and delivers a series of kicks to the back. He rebounds off the ropes and Poe moves out of the way of a dropkick. Alex skids across the mat and rolls to his feet, turning around in time to get leveled by a lariat.
Poe kicks at Darling, then drags him to his feet and sends him hard into the corner. Alex bounces out and Poe hits a release overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Poe rebounds off the ropes and drives a leg into Darling’s throat. He covers, but Alex kicks out at two. Poe rocks the champion with European uppercuts and sends him to the ropes. Alex ducks an attempted hieroglyph and comes back with a flying forearm. Poe staggers, but does not go down. Alex rebounds off the ropes for a second one, but Poe snags him out of the air and drills him with a power slam. Poe hooks the leg, but Alex rolls a shoulder before three.
Poe drags the champion to his feet and slings him into the corner. He works him over with punches, then lifts him onto the top turnbuckle. Poe climbs up for a superplex, but Darling fights back with punches. He knocks Poe off balance and kicks him to the mat. Darling leaps, and drives his elbow into Poe’s knee. He rolls Poe over and ties on the Darling Moneyclip. Poe struggles, but Alex has him cinched in the middle of the ring. Hightower checks, but Poe refuses to submit. Poe reaches back, and manages to hook Alex’s ankle. He pulls, and manages to drag him off his feet, breaking the hold.
Both men crawl to opposite sides of the ring and use the ropes to pull themselves up. Alex turns and sprints at Poe, who kills him with a spine buster. Poe hooks the leg and Hightower counts One…Two…Thr – Alex rolls a shoulder! With a snarl, Poe mounts Darling and starts driving fists into his head. Hightower demands a break, and finally starts to count. At four, Poe slams Darling’s head into the canvas and gets up. He has some words with the ref, then drags Alex to his feet. He lifts the champion for the pendulum, but Darling shifts his weight, reversing into a crucifix. He gets a two count before Poe kicks out.
Alex is first to his feet and drives a knee into Poe’s stomach. He sets up the Darling driver, but Poe elbows free. Poe delivers a knee to the midsection of his own, and lifts Darling for the crucifix bomb. At the top of the move, Darling starts throwing punches, knocking Poe off balance. Alex throws himself forward and rolls Poe up with a sunset flip for two. Poe rolls to his feet and grabs Darling by the throat. Alex responds with a kick to the abdomen and frees himself. He pulls Poe’s arm across his throat and hauls him onto his shoulders – Darling Driver! Alex hooks both legs and rolls Poe up. Hightower counts One…Two…Three.
