OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Melbourne, Arkansas
CHRIS EVANS & RAVENNA BLUE vs. MATT FOLZ & LD WILLIAMSOOWF Onslaught Champion Matt Folz and Five member LD Williams are announced first and make their way to the ring to a rousing chorus of boos. Folz and LD ignore the boos and head to their corner and wait for their opponents. Chris Evans and Ravenna Blue are announced next and sprint to the ring, as they slide under the ropes, they are immediately attacked by LD and Folz. LD and Folz put the boots to Ravenna and Evans, but they fight back to their feet and it turns into a wild throw down. LD pulls Evans to his feet and tries to whip him to the ropes. But Evans reverses it and follows LD to the ropes and clotheslines him over the ropes to the floor. On the other side of the ring, Ravenna ducks a punch from Folz and turns and connects with a dropkick to the jaw that sends Folz over the ropes to the floor. Ravenna and Evans look at one another and charge, Ravenna dives through the ropes and lands on LD Williams, and Evans leaps over the ropes and takes out Matt Folz. They get to their feet and slide back into the ring and the crowd explodes. On the outside Folz and LD argue briefly, then climb onto the apron. Matt Folz steps into the ring and calls for the referee to get one of them out of the ring. Evans steps back to the apron, and Folz and Ravenna slowly circle and lock up. Folz catches her with a knee to the midsection sending her to the mat, he bounds off the ropes and tries a kick to the head, but Ravenna backs off and sweeps his other leg from beneath him. Ravenna pops to her feet and as Folz gets to his feet, she takes him to the mat with a Steamboat arm drag and tags in Evans. Evans comes in and hops to the middle rope while Ravenna holds the arm, then drops an elbow across his arm, then arm drags him to the mat again. Folz fights to his feet immediately and backs Evans to the ropes and tries to whip him to the ropes, but Evans reverses it and then Folz reverses it again. Evans tries a sunset flip, but Folz fights it off and drops down onto Evans shoulders for a one count, then Evans finishes the sunset flip for a two count, but Folz rolls out of it, then lunges at Evans and KILLS him with a clothesline, grabs his arm and drags him to the corner and tags in LD Williams. LD comes in and BLASTS Evans in the temple with a kick, then hits the ropes and drops a knee across his forehead, then covers him, driving a forearm into his face, but Evans kicks out at two. LD pulls him to his feet and tries a suplex, but Evans blocks it, so LD slips behind him and hammers the back of his head with forearms, then throws him across the ring with a release German suplex, folding Evans in half. LD covers again, but again LD kicks out at two. LD tags in Folz and Folz measures Evans and DRILLS him with a knee lift as he gets to his feet. Folz covers, but Ravenna breaks it up at two. Folz lunges at Ravenna, which lets Evans get to his feet. When Folz turns back around, Evans grabs him and hits SNAKEEYES into the corner then rolls into his corner and tags in Ravenna! The crowd goes nuts when Ravenna comes in and she waits for Folz to get to his feet, then snaps him over with a hurracarana for a two count. LD comes in and tries to clothesline Ravenna, but she ducks and LD and Folz collide. LD falls to the ropes and gets low bridged by Evans. Evans hops off the apron and he and LD trade punches. Inside the ring, Folz grabs Ravenna for an Olympic slam, but Ravenna slips off his shoulder and rolls him up from behind for the one, two, THREE! LD tried to get into the ring and break it up but Evans kept him from making the save.
WINNERS in 10:41 – Ravenna Blue & Chris Evans
Ravenna slips out of the ring and she and Evans celebrate as they back up the ramp. LD Williams rolls into the ring and he and Folz engage in a heated argument. After a several minutes of arguing, several officials make it into the ring and separate them. The crowd boos this and the “LET THEM FIGHT” chants begin.
MOOSEHEAD JACK & FIREWOMAN vs. SEAMUS MCNASTY & OUTBACK JACK – Steel Cage MatchMoosehead Jack and Firewoman, representing the Five, enter the arena first. Their fists are taped in similar fashion, and they sport matching snarls as they walk around the cage, testing its strength. Satisfied, they enter the cage and Fire sits on the top turnbuckle, while Jack slumps in the corner beneath her. After a few moments the lights dim and Outback Jack and Seamus McNasty step onto the stage to a rousing ovation. Seamus and OBJ glare at the ring as they make their way down the aisle. At the door, Seamus says something to OBJ. OBJ’s eyes roll back, and Back of Beyond Jack has arrived. Referee Mel Creech stands by the door as they enter, keeping the two teams separated long enough for the door to be locked. The bell rings and he steps out of the way.
Moosehead Jack levers himself out of the corner to meet the charging Outback Jack. He drops to his knees and delivers a low blow, then sends him into the corner. Fire, still sitting on the top rope, wraps the tag rope around OBJ's neck. Moose starts throwing punches at his midsection, but only gets a few shots in before Seamus clobbers him from behind. Fire launches herself off the ropes, but Seamus catches her and lawn darts her into the cage. Fire crumbles to the mat, her hair already turning a different shade of red. Seamus and OBJ send Moose to the ropes and hit stereo fists to the gut, followed by a tandem DDT. They each grab a leg and fall back, levering Moose face-first into the cage. He bounces off and Seamus drops him with a reverse DDT. Fire springs off the top rope and levels OBJ with a clothesline, then nails Seamus with a super kick as he gets up. She gets in some kicks on Seamus, but when she pauses to wipe blood from her eyes, OBJ comes from behind and grabs her in a bear hug. Seamus gets up, and they send Fire to the ropes. They attempt a flapjack, but Moose tackles Seamus mid-move, and Fire reverses into a DDT on OBJ. Fire rolls to her feet and gets in a couple of kicks, then drops to her knees and starts throttling him.
Moose and Seamus, meanwhile, roll across the ring, throwing punches. Moose ends up on top, and starts slamming Seamus’ head into the canvas. Seamus throws him off and rolls to his feet. Moose gets up, and Seamus levels him with a clothesline. He drags Moose up by the hair and runs him face first into the cage. He kicks Moose under the ropes, stands him up on the apron, and starts slamming his head into the cage. Fire gets up and runs over, but Seamus turns and catches her with a boot to the face. Moose unravels the tape from his wrist and wraps it around Seamus’ throat, choking him against the ropes. Outback Jack comes over to help, but Fire rolls into his legs, toppling him against the ropes. Fire climbs to the top rope, using the cage for balance, and drops onto the apron, landing a leg drop on OBJ’s head. Moose drops to his knees on the apron, still strangling Seamus, and Fire nails a series of kicks to Seamus’ head, until the tape breaks and Seamus topples into the ring, clutching at his throat. Outback Jack starts to get up, and Moose steps back into the ring and levels a kick at his head. Fire climbs the corner of the cage, looking toward the back, as L.D. Williams strolls down the aisle, a barbed wire bat over his shoulder, whistling happily. Williams takes a couple of practice swings, and a flood of officials materializes out of the ether. They form a wall in front of Williams, who shrugs, and tosses the bat, right into Fire’s waiting hands. Fire smiles wickedly, and turns back to the ring, just as Seamus drags Moose off of OBJ. Fire leaps, and slams the bat into Seamus’ back, where it sticks.
Moose, his face nearly as bloody as his sister’s, gets slowly to his feet. He places a boot on Seamus’ back and pries the bat loose. OBJ gets up and Moose drives the bat into his stomach, and then brings it down across his back. Moose and Fire stand in the center of the ring, bleeding profusely, holding their arms high and making the sign of the Five. They drink in the crowd’s hatred, not seeing Seamus drag himself to the ropes and pull himself to his feet. They notice a change in the crowd’s noise and turn around – and Seamus levels them with a double clothesline. He grabs Moose and tosses him into the corner, kicking him into a sitting position. He gets a running start and drives a knee into Moose’s face. He backs up for a second one, but Fire drops him with a Backstabber. Fire goes to the corner and removes the cover from the top turnbuckle. Moose pulls himself to his feet and they each grab one of Seamus’ legs, and propel him face-first into the exposed steel. OBJ is up and spins Moose around, kicking him in the stomach and dropping him with a DDT. Fire launches herself at him, but OBJ propels himself off the mat and spears her into the bare turnbuckle.
There is a stirring in the crowd, and a sack sails over the cage and lands beside OBJ. The camera focuses on the crowd, and the retreating form of Spin Hansen. OBJ reaches into the sack and pulls out a roll of tape, and tapes his fist. He reaches in again and pulls out a bottle, covering his fist with…glue? OBJ shoves his fist into the sack, coating it in broken glass! Moose drags himself to his feet, and OBJ drives the glass-coated fist into his face, drawing even more blood. OBJ mounts Moose and starts raining down punches. Fire gets up and grabs the sack of broken glass, and slams it into OBJ’s head. He crumbles to the mat and blood pools under him. Seamus is up, and Fire throws a dropkick, but blood loss keeps her from getting full power behind it. Seamus stumbles back and Moose rolls him up. Mel slides in and counts One…Two…Thr – OBJ falls on Moose to break it up.
Fire kicks OBJ in the head, rolling him off, and Moose pounces on him, snarling and tearing at the wounds on his face. Fire climbs the ropes – BFE to Seamus! Seamus grabs the barbed wire bat at the last second, pulling it across him, and Fire lands on it, bouncing off clutching her stomach. Seamus isn’t much better off, as he has to tear the bat free of his flesh. He gets unsteadily to his feet and grabs Fire. He twists her into position for the Black and Tan, but Moose lurches to his feet and nails a Heart punch. Seamus staggers, but keeps the hold, so Moose kicks him hard in the crotch. Seamus lets go, and Fire grabs his arm, pinning it over his head so Moose can hit another Heart punch. Seamus starts to fall, and Fire hops up and places a knee in his back, driving his face into the mat. OBJ staggers to his feet, and Moose tackles him into the ropes. He kicks OBJ to the mat, and under the ropes to the apron. Moose reaches into his tights and produces a pair of handcuffs. He locks OBJ to the bottom rope, and stomps away at him. Meanwhile, Fire grabs the sack of broken glass and pours it onto the mat. She flips Seamus over and grabs his arms – and Firestomps him into the glass! She rolls him over and falls on him, and Mel counts One…Two…Three.
WINNERS, in 18:36, Firewoman and Moosehead Jack.
After the match: Fire lurches to her feet and staggers over to her brother. She tries to help him up, but they both collapse to the mat. A wall of security keeps the rest of the Five and the Midnight Sons at the top of the ramp as EMTs flood into the cage to attend to what’s left of the combatants.
POE vs. CONCRETE TG"Mauseum and Escape" plays and Poe emergences in his usual uber-dramatic entrance. Selena Gomez is wrapped around him in an ultra-creepy way, and then slithers off, as they walk down the ramp. "With Jupiter In Mind" starts and "Concrete" Takaken Gryfon emerges to huge face pop from the entire arena. Poe towers over Gryfon and glowers down at him, but Gryfon doesn't flinch. CTG hands off his cape to the production assistant, and begins bouncing on the mat as Poe stands motionless. Finally, the referee calls for the bell.
CTG runs back to bounce off the ropes and fly into a still-motionless Poe with a shoulder block. Poe doesn't go flying backward, but he doesn't just stand there either, taking a few steps back. Crete tries the same strategy again, and this time the shoulder block fails miserably. Poe quickly grabs Crete and plants him with a sidewalk slam. He glares down at Crete, before hitting the ropes himself, and dropping an elbow. A pretty basic move, but effective, as it lands right on Crete's sternum. Poe covers, but Crete is too heroic to go out so soon. He kips up after breaking the pin, and drives Poe back with a series of chops. Crete follows up with two shoulder blocks and then whips Poe out of the corner. Poe stops himself short of the far corner and turns, just to see Crete flying from the ring post with a missile drop kick. That lands Poe on his ass, and Crete recovers, following up with a Shining Wizard. Poe slumps back against the rope and Crete pulls him by the leg...yes, THAT leg, the once-broken ankle leg...away from the side. He heads to the rope and hits the walk up moonsault, but it seems by dragging Poe, he woke him up. Poe moves, and Crete eats mat.
Crete hugs his ribs as Poe begins finally to break the scowl he's had and begins to smile. He begins to put the boots to Crete, HARD. Several stiff kicks to the ribs sends Crete rolling around the ring. Poe looks like a predator who has just figured out that he is going to catch his prey. The referee is concerned for Crete's wellbeing, and steps between the two, allowing Crete to pull himself up on the ropes. Crete has the crowd start clapping to get behind him, and allow himself to 'Crete' up. He comes out and he and Poe lock up, and shove each other around a bit. Crete gets Poe turned with his arms behind him, one a half-nelson, the other a chicken wing, and hits the Cement Mixer. Poe is down and Crete goes for the cover, but Poe kicks out at two. Crete grabs Poe's legs high and picks him up in the wheelbarrow, setting him up for the Final Justice. But Poe drops a shoulder and rolls through, flipping Crete over him with his legs. He grabs Crete around the neck, lifts him up, and throws him into the corner. He runs in for a huge Stinger Splash, and when Crete staggers out, he tosses him easily with a suplex. But he doesn't go for the pin just yet. Poe picks up Crete and holds him vertically, head down, for the Obelisk. It's a delayed brain buster, and boy is it. He holds Crete for a seemingly impossible length of time, and finally drops him. Crete slams down head first to the mat, and Poe goes for the...no, he doesn't! He picks Crete up, almost gently, and gets him on his feet. Crete is really wobbly, and doesn't even appear to know where he is. The referee is telling Poe to stop, and Selena is jumping up and down, clapping and cheering wildly. Poe gets Crete somewhat steady on his feet, takes his hands away, re-steadies Crete. Once he's satisfied that Crete, though swaying, is not going anywhere, he steps back.....WHAM! He hits the Hieroglyph, and Crete goes down like a sack of potatoes. He is out, legitimately out, not just in kayfabe. Poe makes a lazy pin, and the referee counts one, two, three.
WINNER in 13:33 - Poe
THE MIDNIGHT SONS vs. TEAM TEAM – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchTeam Team is announced and they make their way to the ring. Tytan slaps hands on his way to the ring, but Eco doesn’t even seem to notice the crowd at all, he is completely focused on the ring. They climb into the ring and Eco runs the ropes and looks ready to go. As The Midnight Sons are announced and come through the fans, Tytan steps onto the apron. Eco impatiently paces the ring while the OOWF World Tag Team Champions make their way to the ring. Spin and DH see this impatience and take a little extra time with the fans at ringside. Eco complains to the referee and finally the Sons hop on the apron. Magnusson looks to start things off, and as he steps between the ropes, the referee calls for the bell, and Eco immediately attacks, trying to lock up before Magnusson is even in the ring. DH staggers back to a corner and Eco lights him up with chops. Eco tries to whip DH to the opposite corner, but DH reverses it. He follows Eco into the corner, but Eco slides between the ropes and DH slams chest first into the corner. As DH staggers backward, Eco hops to the top rope and hits a flying neck breaker and covers for a two count. Eco pulls DH to his feet and hits a belly to back suplex, then tags in Tytan. Tytan waits for Magnusson to get to his feet, then charges in and grabs DH and hits a Steiner belly to belly suplex planting DH on the mat. Tytan covers, but DH gets his foot on the bottom rope at two. Tytan pulls DH to his feet and tries a suplex, but DH floats over, grabs Tytan and hits a SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Both men are down and the crowd chants for DH to make the tag. Tytan gets to his feet and reaches for DH just as he makes the tag to Spin! The crowd comes unglued as Spin comes into the ring and peppers Tytan with lefts and rights. Spin sends him to the ropes, and Eco makes a blind tag. Spin catches Tytan on the rebound with a big spine buster and covers, but the referee tells him a tag has been made. Spin gets to his feet and turns and looks, and Eco catches him with a missile drop kick! Eco covers, but only gets a two count, DH breaks it up just before the three count. Tytan clotheslines DH over the top rope to the floor, then follows him out. He pulls DH to his feet and slams him back first into the apron, sending Magnusson to the mat. Inside the ring, Eco pulls Spin to his feet and rocks him with several European uppercuts. Eco kicks Spin and hits the ENDGAME! Eco covers but Spin rolls his shoulder JUST before the three count! Eco looks at the referee in disbelief, then climbs to the top rope and waits there perched. From the outside, DH Magnusson gets on his feet, hops on the apron and shoves Eco off the top rope. Eco flies through the air and slams into the guardrail. Tytan hops off the mat and attacks Magnusson, Spin leaves the ring and the four of them brawl around the ring. As they are fighting, the referee counts. He gets to eight and Eco notices, rakes Spin’s eyes and rolls under the ropes JUST before the ten count! The referee waves his arms, it’s not the titles, but it’s a win!
WINNERS in 15:55 by count out – Team Team
ALEXANDER DARLING vs. DAVIN MORELAND – Title vs. Title Match; Stank is Special Guest RefereeThe crowd is...well...nervous for this one. They don't know what the hell to expect with all these combustible elements in one ring. “Skin” fires up, and Stank, in a stylish referee jersey, lifts his arms over his head as the crowd boos the ever-living shit out of him. He pulls out his “C'Mon Son” sign, and simply holds it over his head. The boos continue, and Stank just starts laughing. As soon as “Toxicity” hits, his expression changes to one of sheer hatred. The crowd changes their tune as well, as Intercontinental Champion Davin Moreland makes his way down the ramp, and is really playing to the crowd here, getting them all fired up. He does his customary double jump into the ring, and glares at Stank. He takes off his belt and holds it in Stank's face, but Stank doesn't move. He only holds up his “C'mon Son” sign. Davin hands his belt to the outside, and pulls out a small sign from his back pocket: “Child, please”. Crowd eats this up, Stank is not amused. The special “Darling Suite Compilation” fires up, and your World Champion makes his way down to the ring, and HE holds his belt over his head, and HE starts to play to the crowd. Davin is in the ring giving polite applause, and Stank has more “look of hate”, and shares it with Darling. Darling does a 4-corner pose, and hands his belt to the outside. He stares down Davin with a slight smile, and Davin returns it. Meanwhile, Stank just stands there, until the others stare at him. He calls for the bell, and WE'RE UNDERWAY!
Davin and Alex stare each other down for a second, until Davin extends his hand. Pre-match handshake? YES. Well, how about that. They back off before locking up. Davin has the leverage, but the World Champ buries a knee into Davin's midsection. Darling hits the ropes, and lands a SCISSORS KICK on Davin, sending him crashing to the mat. Darling flips Davin and covers, but Stank just holds up his “C'Mon, Son” sign. Darling is pissed, but pulls Davin up. Dropkick sends Davin to the ropes. Darling gets a head of steam, but LOW BRIDGE! Darling tumbles outside. SUICIDE PLANCHA from Davin, and the crowd enjoyed that. Stank is not even watching.
Davin bundles Darling into the ring, before pulling him up and locking him in for a Jackknife Power bomb. He stares at Stank as he has Darling on his shoulder. Stank yawns. Davin splatters Darling on the mat, and rolls into the cover. We get to see “C'Mon, Son” again. Davin pulls out “Child, please” sign, and then gets in Stank's face. They're saying some not-very-nice things about each other, when Darling recovers with a Flying Burrito. Davin staggers, and Darling follows that up with a little Sliced Bread. Darling climbs to the top, and looks to land a Moonsault, but Davin got his feet up, and uses Darling's momentum to monkey flip him across the ring. But, Darling lands on his feet, and waits for Davin to get up, He does, slowly, and Darling tries for a Big Super kick. Davin ducks it, and Darling turns around 180 degrees. Davin tries for a German Suplex, but Darling is able to flip out of it and land on his feet.
Darling tries to run at him with a big clothesline, but Davin turns around just in time and ducks the arm, locking Darling in at the same time, before delivering a STO. Now Davin heads to the top, and he tries for a Split-legged Moonsault, but Darling gets his knees up, and Davin splats right there. Darling is to his feet, and rocks the staggered Moreland with a couple of European Uppercuts. Davin ends up in the corner, and Darling rushes with a couple of back elbows. Davin is on spaghetti legs, and Darling goes for a Hurricarana, and HOOKS THE LEGS. Stank actually gets down to count this time, and it is a long, slow 2 count. Darling is not happy. Darling makes a snide remark to Stank, which apparently didn't go over well. They get into it, until Davin hits a chop block on Darling. He sits Darling on the top rope, and hits a gigantic Tornado DDT. Davin grabs the legs, and locks on a SHARPSHOOTER!
Sharpshooter is on, and it looks like Darling is in trouble. This takes the decision out of Stank's hands completely. Still on, still on, until Darling can get to the ropes (to cheers), and Davin breaks the hold before he's even told to. In fact, he waits for Darling to get up, and as a result, a “Let's Go Alex, Let's go Davin” chant starts up. They lock up again, and Darling works it into an armbar. Davin reverses into a hammerlock. Darling slaps his shoulder twice (as required by law), and reverses into one of his own. Lather, rinse, repeat as Davin gets Darling in a hammerlock again, followed quickly by a Hammerlock Slam! Davin, working quickly, locks on a Cross-Arm Breaker, again looking for the submission. Darling is able to get his feet on the ropes, and Davin breaks. Darling slowly gets to his feet, but Davin is there for the Belly-to-Belly overhead suplex. Somehow, Darling lands on his feet! How does he do that? Davin turns around, and walks into a Springboard Cross Body, but Davin catches him! He smiles, and he could hit the Diamond Cutter from here! He gets Darling over his head, and tries for the Elevated Really Good Diamond Cutter, but as Darling is in the air, he's able to flip around and hit a Codebreaker! He's got Davin's hand on his own throat! DARLING DRIVER! It's all over! He covers!
And out of nowhere, Stank rips Darling off Davin like a rag doll. The crowd shits all over this. STANK-U on Darling, and he starts stomping away. And here comes the Rest of the V, in all their jerk glory, and they start pounding away on Darling. How are Fire and Moose even standing. Barely, that’s how. Stank, LD and Poe do most of the damage. They've got him in the corner, and they're all just standing around taking potshots at him. Suddenly, there's a buzz and cheering from the crowd! It's Ravenna Blue! It's Ecosystem! It's Tytan! They're all brandishing REBAR! It's not long until The V powder out, and Ravenna and Team Team take defensive positions around the two fallen champions.
