MidWeek Mayhem! Live! From Panic, Pennsylvania!
Live from the Clarocet Sports Bar and Grill in downtown Panic Pennsylvania!
(Before the show, GM the Rick announces that due to travel difficulties Razz and Ross could not be at tonight’s show to provide commentary. It appears that no one was willing to rent them a car once they found out that they worked for OOWF, and both of their vehicles were destroyed in random acts of parking garage violence.)
TOMMY WILDER vs. “STRANGLA” BEN FRANKLIN Tommy Wilder is making his OOWF debut tonight, and he gets local indie worker and notorious heel “Strangla” Ben Franklin. Franklin waits in the ring while Wilder comes to the ring to the cheers of the fans. Wilder climbs to the top turnbuckle and does a side 360 flip to the apron. Just as he lands on his feet Franklin attacks, leveling Wilder with a clothesline. Franklin keeps the advantage with stomps and punches, keeping the high-flying Wilder grounded. Franklin pulls Wilder to his feet and tries a scoop slam, but Wilder frees himself and lands behind Franklin, Franklin tries a whip to the ropes, Wilder easily reverses it and connects with a picture perfect standing dropkick that catches Franklin in the mouth. Franklin falls between the ropes to the outside, where he grabs his town crier’s bell he uses for a weapon. As he turns around to face the ring again, Wilder runs to the corner, leaps to the top rope, jumps to the outside, and takes Franklin over with a top rope hurricarana that sends Franklin sprawling into the steps. Wilder kips up to his feet and shoots Franklin back into the ring, Wilder springs over the top rope with a springboard rolling thunder. Wilder calls for his finisher, The Base Jump, he hauls a dazed Franklin to his shoulders, climbs the ropes, and falls back hitting a modified snowplow. Wilder covers, and gets the easy three count.
WINNER in 4:14 Tommy Wilder
MORTE vs. CORAX vs. SEMAJ B Semaj does the smart thing and hangs back a bit while two former tag team archrivals tear into each other. Corax nearly gets a pin when Morte misses a top rope guillotine leg drop, Corax springs to his feet and tajiri kicks Morte in the face for a two count. Semaj breaks it up before the ref can count three. Semaj grabs Corax and hits a small package out of nowhere for a quick two count. Corax kicks out, then goes nuts. The lays into Semaj with chops and hits an enzuguri on Semaj knocking him to the mat. Corax then mounts Semaj and chokes him, blatantly, in front of the referee. Morte breaks it up by hitting a spring board clothesline from the outside. Corax falls from the ring and Semaj and Morte go at it. The end comes when Morte and Corax are fighting on the top rope. Corax has his back to the crowd, Morte has his back to the ring. Corax is trying to suplex Morte off the top rope through a table on the outside; Morte frees himself with a series of head buts and hits a standing dropkick that sends Corax flying off the top and through the table below. It also sends Morte falling backwards into the ring where Semaj is waiting. Semaj pulls Morte to his feet and hits the Living Daylights and gets the academic three count.
WINNER in 13:39 Semaj B
SERAPH vs. ENDO Creepy versus creepy here. Endo hits the ring and starts talking to his hand mumbling something about squeezing the life from Seraph. Seraph gets in the ring and looks at Endo, almost with pity in his eyes, but keeps a very tranquil look on his face. Endo does not seem the least bit intimidated by Seraph and Seraph seems to have no fear of Endo. They spend the early part of the match trying their best to psyche each other out, but nothing seems to work. Endo gains the first upper hand when he hits a drop toe hold on Seraph, then bounds off the ropes and plants a dropkick right to Seraph’s face that draws some blood. Endo tries some power moves, but cannot keep Seraph down. Seraph makes a comeback when Endo goes for the claw, Seraph grabs Endo’s arm, spins behind him and hits a release German suplex. The action spills out of the ring where Seraph side steps a charging Endo and Endo ends up eating the steel ring steps and opening a gash on his head. The match ends after Endo tries a reverse tombstone, but Endo reverses out of it, hits one of his own, then locks on the sharpshooter. Endo cannot quite reach the ropes and is forced to tap.
WINNER in 11:11 Seraph
HELLION vs. JW WESTGAARD No catch as catch can in this contest as they immediately exchange stiff punches and chops that echo throughout the arena. Hellion gains a measure of control with a quick dropkick that stumbles JWW into the ropes. However, JWW springs up and levels Hellion with a lariat. JWW puts the boots to Hellion and sizes him up for a rude knee to the side of the head. JWW picks Hellion up and puts him down with two straight short arm lariats before getting a two count. Hellion counters out of a power bomb attempt and brings JWW face first into his up turned knees. A HELL’s FURY is countered and sends Hellion to the apron. Hellion rams his shoulder in JWW’s gut but the sunset flip attempt is blocked and countered into a Baldo Bomb for two. JWW continues to edge Hellion in the pure strength aspect and nearly gets the three on a spinning side slam. Hellion fights back with more of his lucha inspired offense including a beautiful Asai Moonsault into an inverted DDT that garners a two. The two slug it out and just as JWW has Hellion on the ropes, Hellion drop toe holds him into the second turnbuckle. As JWW staggers to his feet, Hellion nearly snaps his neck with a picturesque Shining Wizard. Both men down for a count of five, but the ref drops down just as Hellion pulls JWW from the ropes and rolls him up with a jack knife pin. JWW rolls his shoulder a moment too late and Hellion is the victor.
WINNER in 12:29 Hellion
MOOSEHEAD JACK & CONCRETE TG vs. UNCLE ENTITY & MERCURY Entity and Mercury come to the ring first, Jack and Concrete come out and Jack wastes no time in attacking. Jack goes after both men, hitting both with punches and kicks. Concrete joins the melee and the match quickly spills out of the ring. Concrete and Mercury go at each other inside the ring while Jack and Entity brawl outside the ring. Inside CTG reverses a Mercury whip and catches him with a power slam off the ropes, cover only gets a one count. On the outside Jack has Entity pinned against the railing. Jack looks over his shoulder to make sure the ref isn’t looking then pulls a chain out of his tights and pummels Entity’s face until he is a bloody mess. Jack is still seething over the attack a few weeks ago. Inside the ring Concrete has Mercury on the mat, mounts him and pounds his head with (legal) forearm shots. Outside the ring Entity separates himself from Jack with a low blow, then a chair shot to the back leaves Jack lying on the floor. Entity grabs a chair and heads into the ring. Concrete cuts Entity off before he can use the chair and takes him down with a super kick to the face. Concrete backs Entity into the corner and chops away. As he is about to whip him out of the corner, Mercury attacks from behind and the two beat on Concrete until he is lying in the middle of the ring. Jack finally comes to his senses on the outside and starts throwing stuff into the ring, chairs, chains, tables; whatever he can get his hands on. Entity and Mercury look at each other for a moment then grab plunder. Entity tries to hit Concrete with a chair, but Concrete sweeps his legs and takes him down. Jack hits the ring with a chair and DESTROYS Mercury. The ref loses all control and calls for the bell, ruling it a no contest.

DONOVAN VIPER vs. NILES ANDERSON Back and forth action for most of this one. Both are well versed in the ways of taking a short cut to gain the advantage. It’s no surprise that both men are bloody messes, and both of them are bloody messes from shots from chains that were hidden on both wrestlers. Niles uses some quick thinking to keep the match going. At one point Niles had the chain wrapped around his fist and took a shot at Niles, but Niles ducked the punch and destroyed DV with a stunner. Viper was down, Niles started to make the cover, but then saw the chain. Fearing that the ref would see it and call for the DQ, Niles wipes some blood from his forehead and flicks it at the ref. As the ref turns to wipe the blood from his eyes, Niles grabs the chain and stuffs it into his tights. DV is able to kick out. After several minutes of action and a series of reversals Niles finally hits a steeDDT, but as he falls, he smacks the back of his head on a chair that had been left in the ring from an earlier attempted use by Viper. With both men down, UnderDawg makes his way to the ring. He just stands there with his arms crossed glaring at both men. The action in the ring picks up as both men and the ref make it back to their feet, Niles scoops Viper for a slam, Viper floats over and lands behind him, and tries for a death elbow, Niles is able to duck just in time and the death elbow catches the ref with a clanking blow. The ref goes down, Niles waits for DV to get to his feet for the SteeDDT. Viper gets to his feet, but UD is in the ring! Dawg has a chair, he swings it at Niles, but Niles ducks and the chair DESTROYS Viper. Donovan Viper is out cold; Niles hits the SteeDDT on UnderDawg and rolls him out of the ring.
