OOWF MidWeek Mayhem! Live! From Presque Isle, Maine!
Ross: Welcome to Midweek Mayhem, Live! From the beautiful Davey Jones Sports Arena in Presque Isle! Razz, we have another outstanding card for all our fans tonight. We have a number one contender’s match for the Onslaught title featuring Canadian Dragon, Endo, Tommy Wilder and Seraph! Razz: That one will be a barnburner for sure! Those four guys can tear the roof off any arena in the country. We also have Johnny Adrenaline looking to regain his title in a match against Blackdragon! Ross: Well I can honestly say I am still not sad that Johnny lost his title to Dragon, and I don’t think he has a chance in hell of regaining it tonight. I say tonight is just the start of a long reign for Blackdragon. Firechild defends the Onslaught title against Thim Reynolds in a best of three falls match! Razz: That’ll be a good one, Thim has the size advantage and can make you submit in about a million different ways, but Firechild is a high flying expert, and he knows his fair share of high impact moves that can keep anyone down for a three count. Our last title match features Niles defending the title against Donovan Viper. Ross: I am not sure what to make of that one, I don’t know what frame of mind Donovan Viper is in, if he has regained his focus and is concentrating on the title then I think he has a good shot, if it is not, then Niles Anderson is crafty enough and experienced enough to win the match. Razz: our first match features Semaj B and Mark Vander, there is really no back-story to this one, Vander is moving back to the heavyweight division and Semaj B is gaining momentum to challenge his former AYUFF running mate Blackdragon for the Intercontinental title. Ross: From what I have heard, these two just thought it would be a good test of their skills to face each other. I am all for that, there is nothing like the competition that goes on in the OOWF!
SEMAJ B. vs. MARK VANDER
Vander gets to the ring first and jumps Semaj as he gets into the ring. Vander clubs away at Semaj and sends him to the ropes. Vander hits a high back body drop, as Semaj thunders to the mat, Vander bounds off the opposite ropes and drops a big elbow on Semaj and goes for the cover. Semaj kicks out at two. Vander pulls Semaj to his feet and pulls him up in a vertical suplex. Vander holds him in the air forever, then slams him down in a jackhammer. Vander goes for another cover; Semaj gets his foot on the ropes. Vander pulls Semaj up and tosses him over the top rope. Vander leaves the ring and pulls Semaj to his feet and scoops him and plants him with a big body slam on the concrete floor. Vander rolls Semaj back into the ring and follows him in; Vander drops another elbow and makes another cover. Semaj, showing his resilience, kicks out again. Vander pulls Semaj to his feet and whips him to a corner, Vander tries to follow him in, but Semaj gets a big boot up. Vander staggers backward; Semaj climbs to the second rope and flies taking Vander down with a flying clothesline. Semaj mounts Vander and pounds away. Semaj pulls Vander to his feet and sends him into the ropes and takes him don with a deep arm drag. Vander springs to his feet, as does Semaj, Semaj takes him down with another deep arm drag. Vander gets up, Semaj tries to plant a kick in Vander’s midsection, Vander catches his leg and Semaj hits an enzuguri. Vander stands for a moment, then falls forward. Semaj pounces on Vander and locks on a STF. Vander grimaces in pain and slowly works his way to the ropes. Vander finally makes it to the ropes. Semaj breaks the hold and both men get to their feet, Semaj turns and Vander destroys him with a clothesline. Vander starts to make his way to the top rope, but takes way too long, and Semaj crotches him. Semaj hits the License to Kill, Vander is out! Semaj covers, 1,2,3! WINNER in 11:01 Semaj B
Ross: You know Razz, there is something that is bothering me about Mark Vander, tonight Vander was more aggressive than we have seen in a long time. He also came to the ring without his management team. He has also been very quiet as of late; he hasn’t made his intentions very clear. I think there is something going on, and I am really interested to know what is going on in the mind of Mark Vander Razz: Well, ask him Ross, personally I am not that nosey, if he wants me to know, he will tell me, I think he is just trying to focus on the world title and beating Niles Anderson. Ross: That may be. Time will tell. Our next match is an interesting one in it’s own right. JW Westgaard takes on Chris Cole, one half of the tag team champions in singles competition. Razz I know your theory about tag wrestlers in singles competition, how do you think Cole will fare tonight. Razz: Well normally I would say that a tag wrestler stands little chance against a mainly singles competitor, but I think Chris Cole may be a bit of a different case. He has competed elsewhere, very successfully as a singles wrestler. I still give the edge to Westgaard, but this should be a very violent match.
CHRIS COLE vs. JW WESTGAARD
Cole controls with an arm bar takedown and works a wristlock. Westgaard comes back with a head scissor takedown and Cole bails to the dirt. Westgaard hits a baseball kick and then tosses Cole back in the ring. JW gets a quick spine buster and arm drag. JW follows up with a standing neck breaker and hits a bulldog as he builds momentum. Ax-man is out from the back now, distracting both the ref and Westgaard allowing Cole to hit a low blow and take control of the match. Cole hits a standing neck breaker of his own and follows up with an elbow that gets two. Cole pounds JW and lays the badmouth on him, then chokes him out. Another elbow drop and Cole starts to showboat. he takes a little to long though, because when Cole works a headlock he gets dropped with a suplex. Ax man has seen enough though and is up on the apron as Cole goes to the outside and grabs a chair. Cole swings for JW's head, but Chris misses as Westguard ducks! JW hits a dropkick sending Cole crushing into Ax-man! JW is behind Cole now, he bounds off the ropes and KILLS Cole with a cross check. Ax tries to get back on the apron but Westgaard grabs him by the head and slams him into the corner post. Ax falls off the apron to the floor. Cole gets to his feet; JWW knees him in the midsection and hits an ice auger! Westgaard makes the cover, but Ax reaches in and drapes Cole’s leg across the bottom rope. Tommy Wilder comes to the ring and takes out Ax, and the two brawl up the ramp. Westgaard tries to pull Cole to his feet, but Cole hits a low blow. Cole scoops Westgaard up for a slam, but JWW turns it into a small package and gets the surprise finish at 9:24 WINNER in 9:24 JW Westgaard
Ross: Westgaard indeed picks up the win, and partly thanks to Tommy Wilder, had he not come out and taken out Ax, I think Cole would have found a way to get the win. Razz: It sure seems like Wilder and Westgaard have formed some sort of friendship, in this business that is rare. Speaking of guys that were seemingly friends, Uncle Entity and Mercury don’t seem to be on the same page despite their success against Moosehead Jack and Concrete TG. Ross: They are definitely not on the same page, there seems to be some resentment between the two. I am not sure what will come of all this, but I will say this, if they are not on the same page against Revolution XX, they will not walk out of here with a win. Razz: No doubt there Ross, Revolution XX is one of the more impressive teams in the OOWF right now, and even though they can’t seem to get over the hump against 3Piece Set, I think they are a dangerous team, not to be taken lightly.
UNCLE ENTITY & MERCURY vs. REVOLUTION XX
UE and Mercury jump start this contest at the entrance ramp and manage to control RXX all the way to the ring. Tag team suplex gets a two and the ref forces Mercury out. UE goes to work on CC, but CC manages to turn the tide with a drop toehold into the bottom turnbuckle. EOM tagged in and unleashes some martial arts goodness that has UE reeling. UE manages to avoid a jumping spin kick, and take EOM down with a side Russian leg sweep before tagging Mercury in. Mercury and EOM exchange a few holds, but Mercury gets a kick to the knee and works the leg over before tagging UE in who does more of the same. Mercury back in but after a trade off of standing switches is taken down with a release German suplex. CC is a domicile ablaze as he takes it to UE and Mercury with back body drops and clotheslines. Dropping to all fours, he allows EOM to hit a springboard corner splash on UE. As the ref escorts EOM out, Mercury gains the advantage with a bulldog and maintains control until CC counters an Irish whip into a DDT attempt. Unfortunately, CC is shoved into the ref, knocking the delicate little flower out of commission (the ref, not CC) Mercury, ever the opportunist, drops to his knees and delivers a low blow to CC. UE drops down to the floor and fishes around under the apron curtain until he procures a vial of MERCURY~!!! His attempts to goad his partner into utilizing the vile substance fall on def ears and Mercy gets punched for his troubles. CC has recovered enough to nail Mercury with a super kick to the back of the head, then stumbles back to his corner where he tags in EOM. Showing little compassion, EOM hits the Frog Splash to the back of Mercury’s head. UE looks on with a smirk as his partner is pinned for the three. WINNERS in 7:58 Revolution XX
Ross: What was that? Razz, I just don’t understand it, if you don’t want to team with someone, whatever happened to just telling the man you want to go your separate ways? Razz: Well, I suppose some people have a bit more flair for the dramatic. Regardless it was a great win for Revolution XX keeping them right in line for a shot at the tag titles. Ross: Indeed it was Ross, I think Revolution could win those titles if they got a one on one match against the champs, but it seems like they are always involved in multiple team matches or something. Razz: Well I am sure if they petitioned GM the Rick for a one on one shot, they could probably get it. Ross, I gotta know, what do you think of Attitude Adjuster. Somehow this guy always seems to have himself positioned in the right place at the right time, you look at his record and it’s not that great, but here he is, somehow aligned with the world champion! Ross: Well honestly I think Capps is a leech. He came to the OOWF and had trouble getting recognized by anyone, so what does he do? He aligns himself with Concrete TG and the rest of the AYUFF. When that falls apart, he hooks up with Niles Anderson, and now he is in a position of prominence as the champions’ running buddy. I think this man is content to play second fiddle to anyone as long as it gets him some recognition. Razz: Wow Ross! How do you really feel? Let’s head to the match so you can tell us all how you feel about Attitudes match
ATTITUDE ADJUSTER vs. MORTE
AA offers a handshake to start the match and Morte accepts. But AA pulls his hand away, runs it through his hair and struts across the ring. AA points to his head and smiles at Morte. They lock up again, and Morte stuffs his fingers in AA’s eyes. AA hollers in pain and rolls to a corner. When he pulls himself back up, AA points to Morte, smiles. “Good one,” AA says. Third lock up, and AA drives a knee to the lower groinal area, and chops Morte into the corner. But Morte starts to no sell, and AA backs away and begs off in the opposite corner, but when Morte pulls him up, AA pokes Morte in the eyes. Leg sweep, goes for the pin, props his feet on the ropes. One, two, but the ref catches AA and stops the count. Again, AA points to his head and smiles at Morte. Another lockup, and Morte shoves AA into the corner and pounds AA into the mat. AA bails out of the ring and walks up the ramp. Could it be a count out? Morte complains to the ref. AA sees the opening, slides back into the ring and tries to attack Morte. But Morte is a step quicker and clobbers AA with a right to the head. Whip to the ropes and Morte kills AA with a clothesline. Morte begins to dominate AA with big power moves. After a suplex, Morte chokes AA, breaking just at the five count. He climbs the ropes and delivers MAXI MORTE, the top rope leg drop. It’s over! One, two, thre…NO! AA got his foot on the ropes! Morte was so close to victory! Morte argues with the ref as AA uses the ropes to pull himself back to his knees. AA grabs a chain from his trunks, and as Morte comes back to the attack AA hammers Morte with a low blow. With Morte doubled over, AA unleashes a vicious chain-loaded uppercut to the jaw, tosses the chain out of the ring, rolls up Morte, pulls the tights, grabs the ropes and gets the three count! AA rolls out of the ring and again points to his head and smiles to Morte. WINNER in 12:04 Attitude Adjuster.
Ross: See, that is exactly what I am talking about, AA has potential to win matches, but he would much rather use a chain to get the win. At one time, briefly, this man was feared, people feared that claw of his, now people no longer fear him, they are wary of him because you never know what he is going to hit you with next. Razz: Well that is part of the game though. You see how much you can get away with and use that to your advantage. Not everyone strives to be a great scientific wrestler, and it appears that Capps is one of them, he would rather be successful than great. Ross: Sadly, I have a feeling that our next two competitors fall into that category as well. I have a feeling both Soul Dragon and LD Williams would rather try and kill each other with weapons than actually win a match. That’s just not wrestling! Razz: Well that is where I have to disagree with you Ross, LD Williams is not so much hell bent on destruction, at least not like he used to be. He has wisely positioned himself as the number one contender to the Intercontinental title. Sure he can lean a little more toward the violent matches, but the man can also wrestle. To a degree, the same can be said about Soul Dragon, the man has a vicious streak a mile wide, he will gladly use a cinder block or a chair as a weapon, but he is also one of the most breath taking high flyers I have ever seen Ross: Well you may have a point there Razz, I just wish these two would put a little more effort into displaying their talents, instead of showing us who can be more violent.
LD WILLIAMS vs. SOUL DRAGON
SD and LD lock up and SD hits a quick arm drag. Bars the arm, but LD counters with a head scissors into a pin for a one count. This time LD with the arm drag and a leg drop across the arm. Arm wringer, but SD rolls through with it and sweeps the legs. A series of quick pin attempts follow and neither man gains the advantage. Another lock up and LD snatches a headlock. SD powers out of it with a back suplex then immediately drops a knee to LD’s temple. LD seeks solace in the ropes, and then pulls SD through them to the floor. They slug it out for a moment and LD wins that exchange after ramming SD’s lower back into the ring apron. After a rude backbreaker, LD continues working on the back with a couple of stomps a knee to the back chin lock. SD fires out of it and rocks LD with some stiff forearm shots before flooring LD with an Irish whip/high knee to the jaw combo. Cover only gets 2, and LD rakes the eyes before throwing haymakers that stumble SD into the corner. LD with some knife-edge chops, but his Irish whip attempt is countered and he hits the opposite corner hard. SD immediately follows up with a rising Shining Wizard that drops LD and carries SD to the apron. From there, SD springs back into the ring, lands on the second rope and hits a moonsault for 2. The two brawl a bit more and LD ducks a clothesline and nails SD with a DDT. SD manages to grab the ropes however, so LD only gets a two. LD pounds away at SD’s neck, then hits two neck breakers and a leg drop for another two. Attempts another DDT, but SD holds onto the ropes despite the vicious pounding to the back of the head. LD relents, and knees him in the mouth instead. SD crawls to the corner where LD dropkicks him in the face. He then props SD onto the turnbuckle and hooks SD for the superplex. SD manages to shove LD off the turnbuckle and hit a jumping, swinging DDT. Slow to make the cover and LD manages to kick out at 2 9/10. SD with the modified overhead back suplex before he climbs the ropes. LD lunges at the ropes, crotching SD. Standing on the second rope, LD hooks SD’s head and kills him with what could be construed as a version of the ADRENALINE RUSH~!!! But LD wouldn’t try to show up his former partner would he? We’ll just say LD Williams gets the “W” with a middle rope DDT. WINNER in 16:16 LD Williams
Ross: Wow Razz, you think that was a shot at LD Williams running buddy Johnny Adrenaline, that looked just like the Adrenaline Rush! Razz: Heh, it sure seemed like a subtle little swipe at Johnny, it is no secret that those two have not seen eye to eye lately either, is there something in the water around here or something? Ross: Well, like you said earlier, in this business friendship can be a very fleeting thing. Friends one day, bitter enemies the next. I think LD Williams just wants to test himself a bit outside of Johnny’s shadow, and I don’t think losing his protection sits too well with Johnny. Razz: Hey, speaking of former friends, Hellion and Corax were not just friends and tag team partners; these guys were the world tag team champions. Now it certainly appears like they want to kill each other in the ring. It amazes me that things have degenerated this far this fast Ross: I am saddened by these two, I really thought they had the potential to be the dominant team in the OOWF for many many years to come, but something went sour, and now here they are facing each other in the ring
CORAX vs. HELLION
Corax comes down to ringside first, but is attacked from behind by Hellion before they get to the ring. Hellion showers Corax with punches and kicks, then suplexes Corax on the ramp! The ref orders the match into the ring, so Hellion throws Corax into the ring. As Hellion enters, Corax nails H with a forearm to the back, then hits a quick corkscrew elbowdrop. Corax runs to the ropes, goes for a springboard dropkick but Hellion saw it coming a dropped out of the way to take control. Backdrop, arm drag takedown, whip to ropes, clothesline attempt but Corax ducks, sets for an inverted swinging DDT, but Hellion blocks that nails Corax with a vicious chop. Corax responds with another chop, and the two stand in the middle of the ring, chopping, punching and kicking each other with the fury of former tag team partners! Hellion gains the advantage with a jumping sidekick for a two count, then nails a flying sunset flip for another two count. Rocker Dropper! Slingshot rope flip moosault! Yet Corax won’t stay down beyond a two-count! Donnie Viper comes to ringside to encourage Corax. Hellion is distracted, yet still goes for a Frankensteiner, but Corax reverse into a Tiger Driver. One, but that’s it. Corax goes outside, slides a chair into the ring, but Hellion grabs it first, jabs Corax in the gut with the chair, the opens the chair, sets it down, runs to the ropes and leaps onto the chair and devastates Corax with a flying dropkick! Both men down hard! Corax surprisingly up first, and goes for a brain buster. Hellion slides down the back, goes for a Victory Roll. Corax blocks, turns and nails Hellion with a dropkick to the knee. Corax leaps to the top rope, Viper hands Corax a chain. Corax looks like he’s going for a flying chain-assistaed clothesline, but in mid-flight Hellion catches Corax and DDT’s Corax!!!!!!! Corax is out!!! Hellion leaps to the ropes, dropkicks Viper off the apron! Hell’s Fury DDT on Corax!!! One, two, three! WINNER in 17:21, Hellion.
After the match, Viper attacks Hellion, and is quickly followed by the Devil’s Brigade. Corax slowly joins in, and Hellion endures a 4-on-1 beat down. Viper and the DB roll out of the ring, leaving Corax alone with Hellion. Corax locks in the Trickster’s Trap submission until Hellion taps out. Corax stands over Hellion, spits on him and rolls from the ring.
Ross: Why? Why? Why would Corax result to helping Donovan Viper and the Devil’s Brigade? Especially help them brutalize his former partner. It just makes me sick to my stomach to see Corax take this road. He was a man who the people respected and loved, and now he has thrown it all away for what? What has he gained? Corax, I am asking you, what is so much better now? You still have no title, the fans hate you, and you have lost the respect of millions of people, please, I would love to hear an explanation. Razz: Well that’s just it Ross, he doesn’t owe ANYONE an explanation, he is a grown man, and he can make the decisions he chooses. Ross: But it’s just not right Razz, it’s just not right, kids looked up to him. Razz: Well that’s for the kids parents to explain, maybe they can start to idolize one of these next four men, well maybe not Endo, ok maybe not Seraph either. But definitely Wilder or Dragon Ross: This one is going to be electric! I have had enough talking, let’s get to the ring for this one.
CANADIAN DRAGON vs. ENDO vs. TOMMY WILDER vs. SERAPH - #1 Contenders match for the Onslaught Championship
All four men circle one another before choosing an opponent. CD and Seraph square off leaving TW and Endo to lock horns. No clear-cut advantage for any of the participants until Seraph takes CD over with a crisp power slam then lends aid to TW. CD watches as Seraph and TW destroy Endo with a tandem wheelbarrow suplex. CD communicates with the tandem broadly and they back off as he lays the boots to Endo and after a reverse DDT into a neck breaker, locks in the DRAGON SLEEPER~!!! to eliminate ENDO and make it a triple threat. CD attacks quickly, aware that the two will work as a team. He manages to create come space after his arm drag on Seraph into a head scissors on TW sends TW out of the ring. The stoic Seraph quickly snatches the advantage, but CD uses the momentum of an Irish whip to carry him into a flying forearm that sends TW back out to the floor. Seraph brawls CD down to the mat but CD hits a nip up into a hurricarrana and nearly gets the three. TW back in with a vengeance and takes it to CD. He whips CD into the ropes then springs from the opposite ropes with a forearm that lays CD out. Both Seraph and TW pin, but CD manages a rope break. CD manages to duck a FACE PLANT~!!! and Seraph takes the full force of the kick to his face. A moment’s hesitation leads to TW getting flap jacked onto Seraph and kicked out of the ring. CD only gets a two and after a few counters and reversals, locks in the DRAGON SLEEPER~!!! TW as Seraph’s face remains a mask of indifference just before he passes out, TW blindsides CD and puts him down with a reverse Russian leg sweep, before rolling out to check on Seraph, who is out on the floor. TW exhausts his highflying offense and is still unable to keep CD down. Resorting to more brawler like tactics, he manages to beat CD down and keep him there with a vicious clothesline. He attempts to lock in the BUZZ KILL~!!! but CD slips out of it before it is locked in and applies the DRAGON SLEEPER~!!! TW rams CD into the turnbuckles and jars CD enough to break the hold. Positions CD in a fireman’s carry, but as he steps on the second rope, CD punches and wiggles free into a reverse DDT that lands TW squarely on the back of his neck. TW is barely moving as CD climbs to the top for a DRAGON SAULT~!!! Seraph recovers in time to push Dragon’s foot, Dragon crotches himself on the top rope. Serpah slips into the ring and grabs CD and hits the Redemption (a running Razor’s Edge) Dragon cannot quite kick out, and the ref makes the three count. Down to two. Seraph and T battle it out; Seraph still has that stoic creepy look on his face. Both men are exhausted; TW reverses a whip to the ropes into a springboard dropkick, then climbs the ropes for a shooting star press. Seraph gets his knees up just in time. Seraph takes over, and grabs TW and sets him on the top rope, Seraph lifts TW, steps up to the middle rope and hits a top rope (ok well second rope) and hits a top rope reverse (face first on TW) slam. Seraph rolls TW over, hooks the leg and gets three. WINNER in 29:11 and #1 Contender to the Onslaught Title, Seraph
After the match Seraph slowly gets to his feet and leaves the ring, the expression on his face never changes.
Razz: THAT WAS CLASSIC! Seraph gets the shot at the Onslaught Championship next week, I think that will be a great match up against either Firechild OR Thim Reynolds, I tell ya Ross, this Onslaught division is just full of greatness! Ross: I was very impressed as well Razz, I thought Tommy Wilder had it, I thought the rookie had this match, but he was just a little too eager. He will have his chances in the future, but next week it is Seraph against either Reynolds or Firechild, that will be a great one. Razz: Ross, what do you think of our next match, The Devil’s Brigade take on Moose and Concrete, I don’t think these two have ever faced each other Ross: Well I will say this, it’s the same as Entity and Mercury, if Concrete and Jack are not on the same page, there is no way they will beat O’Neil and Camby. And do you really think Jack and Crete are on the same page? Let’s find out
MOOSEHEAD JACK & CONCRETE TG vs. THE DEVIL’S BRIGADE
Korn hits the loudspeakers and The Devil’s Brigade head to the ring. Before the music even stops the Hurri-Buggy comes tearing down the Aisle and stops. Moose and ‘Crete climb out and before they know what happens Camby slingshots a running Tommy O’Neil over the ropes and onto the Moose and Crete. Camby follows and levels concrete as he’s getting to his feet and picks him up and rolls him into the ring and begins pounding away with clubbing blows to his shoulders and neck. Tommy gets over to his corner and the ref rings the bell as soon as moose gets up to his. TDB isolate Concrete early in the match with quick tags in and out, but Crete gets an opening after hitting Tommy with an overhead release suplex and tags in Moose, and he cleans house, landing a massive heart punch to Tommy that sends hit out of the ring. In comes Harper and he gets leveled by a vicious clothesline. Moose goes to town on Camby and it’s the good guys (?) turn to work over the TDB. After some serious beat down, Camby is opened up hard way by a stiff concrete kick and locked in the scaffold. Harper is fight with all he’s got to not submit. Tommy is finally making it to his feet after the hear punch and reaches under the ring and pulls out a pair of Brass knux, slips them on his left hand and rolls into the ring. Moose rolls in and goes after Tommy but eat a massive left hook and Moose is down and rolls out of the ring. Crete breaks the scaffold and goes after Tommy. TO ducks a clothesline attempt and bounces off the ropes. Right into a big boot from Camby. Tommy climbs the nearest turnbuckle and Camby sets ‘Crete up in an n electric chair drop and O’Neil comes off the top rope with an impaler style DDT. Camby with the cover and moose struggles to break up the pin but before he can its 1,2,3. The Devil’s Brigade hightail it up the aisle and O’Neil grabs a mike “all ya fekkin wankas en here jus witnessed what is soon to da moost fehed tag team finisha in da OOWF” Camby grabs the mike, “EVERY TEAM WILL FEAR THE TRIPLE SIX!” WINNER in 6:36 - The Devil’s Brigade
Ross: MAH GAWD! That was a statement! They DESTROYED Jack and Concrete; I never thought I could ever see anything like that! Razz: I am just as shocked as you are Ross, I never thought we would see that kind of intensity in The Devil’s Brigade, but they certainly turned it up a notch tonight! Jack and Concrete seemed to be totally unprepared! Ross: That surprises me more than anything, not to take anything away from The Devil’s Brigade, but I never though I would see Jack and Concrete be so thoroughly dominated by ANYONE! Razz: Well it will be interesting to see how Moose and Concrete respond to THIS, neither one of them is too used to losing. Ross: I wouldn’t want to be in THAT locker room right about now! But speaking of two guys used to success, I would say Microplay and GimmickMan are both used to getting the W. This is another match in their little mini-feud, that from what I’m told started out in a friendly way, but has since escalated too much more than that. This could be their last meeting for a bit, since Gimmick has stated that he would like to compete for the Onslaught title and Microplay is determined to win the OOWF World title a second time.
GIMMICKMAN vs. MICROPLAY
Lockup to start with both men hitting deep arm drag takedowns. Microplay goes for snap suplex, but Gimmick reverses to a small package. The two men swap quick pins before hitting a stare down. Another lockup, and Microplay gets an arm bar and switches to a quick snap suplex. MP gets vicious brain buster on Gimmick that would end the match in any other universe only gets two. Micro back on the offense and hits a snap mare and dropkick to the back of the head gets two. MP goes for an STF but Gimmick gets a sunset flip for two. Crowds into Gimmick as he hits a back body drop and follows it up with a leg drop. He picks MP up and hits a modified fall away slam and lock on an arm bar. Micro fights to his feet using the ropes, but GimmickMan picks up MP and puts him on his shoulders. He goes for the Spartan Plunge but MicroPlay reverses with an arm drag. GM shrugs if off and send MP into the counter, but Microplay reverses and sends Gimmick crashing into the turnbuckle. Microplay comes off the ropes with a crushing forearm! Micro sees his opening and heads to the top...he hits the Faraway and the pin is academic at 13:01. WINNER in 13:01 Microplay
Ross: big win by Microplay, and a good way to get himself back into contention for the title, GimmickMan has nothing to be ashamed about, I think his style suits the Onslaught division very well, I see him having a lot of success there. Razz: I agree, Ross, of course every competitor wants to win every man wants his arm raised at the end of the match, but tonight it just was not meant to be for GimmickMan Ross: I am so excited about our next match, it is no secret that Chris Alt is one of my personal favorites, and after the beating he laid on Johnny last week, I think Beast is also one of my favorites, this should be a fantastic match with two wildly contrasting styles clashing in the ring. Razz: Well, Beast has the advantage in power, no question. But Alt has a significant advantage in wrestling skill, Ross; can science win out over power? Ross: Well in most cases I would say no, but in the case of Chris Alt, the man is just so gifted, I think he will force Beast into his type of match, and I see Alt getting a win tonight.
BEAST vs. CHRIS ALT
Beast hits the ring first and waits for Alt to make his appearance. As Alt gets in the ring, he offers his hand to Beast, but Beast just shrugs him off. Alt thinks nothing of it and climbs a corner to celebrate with his fans. While Alt is on the top rope, Beast attacks clubbing him in the back. Beast grabs Alt by the back of the head and throws him backward off the top turnbuckle. Alt slams to the mat and Beast lays into him with stomps. The ref tries to pull Beast off Alt, Beast picks up the ref and walks him over to the corner and sets him on the top rope. Beast heads back to Alt and Alt fires a couple of shots into Beast’s midsection, Beast staggers for a moment and Alt gets to his feet, bounds off the ropes and takes Beast off his feet with a clothesline. Now Alt mounts Beast and fires away with punches. Alt gets off and pulls Beast to his feet and tries a whip to the ropes, Beast reverses the whip, pulls Alt to him and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Beast covers and gets a two count. Beast looks a little annoyed that it wasn’t a three count. Beast pulls Alt to his feet and sends him hard into the corner and follows him in with a clothesline. Alt slumps backward into the corner. Beast whips Alt to the opposite corner and tries another clothesline, but Alt gets a boot up slamming Beast right in the jaw. Alt hits a couple of chops and punches backing Beast into the center of the ring, Alt throws a low clothesline that catches Beast in the knee. Beast immediately collapses in the middle of the ring screaming in pain and clutching at his knee. Alt stops in his tracks and looks concerned. The ref moves in to check on Beast, Beast waves him off and tries to get to his feet, Beast gets up once and collapses as soon as he tries to put weight on the knee. The ref starts to call for the bell, but Beast begs off again, he uses the ropes to pull him to his feet, Alt comes over to help Beast stand, putting Beast’s arm around his shoulder and helping him up. They get to the middle of the ring, Beast limping badly. Beast and Alt get to the middle of the ring and suddenly Beast stops and gets a wicked grin on his face. He grabs Alt and in one fluid motion hits a Club O’Death! Alt falls to the mat out cold, Beast falls on top of him and makes the three count! WINNER in 6:42 Beast
Beast gets to his feet, shakes his knee a little, flexes it and laughs. He leaves the ring with no visible limp at all. The fans sit in stunned silence as Beast heads to the back. Alt is just finally starting to stir in the ring.
Ross: What the hell was that? Beast …. I never, I thought… Razz: I’ll finish this one for you Razz, Beast outsmarted Alt. Plain and simple, was it fair? That is debatable, but it was certainly effective. Gotta say I wasn’t so sure that Beast had it in him, but here I sit, corrected. Ross: Well I gotta say I am just shocked that Beast would have to resort to trickery to get a win. Did he feel he couldn’t beat Alt straight up, one on one? He had to resort to that to get the win. Razz: it’s just plain smart wrestling in my eyes, and Alt should have known better, that is the oldest trick in the book and Alt fell for it, that doesn’t say much about Mr. Alt Ross: Do not besmirch that man! Save your venom for someone who truly deserves it, Ax-Man, this guy has no morals, no ethics, no conscious, no soul… Razz: And I’m sure he would thank you for the kind words Ross, the fact is he and Harris have some unsettled issues that go back a long way. Harris has a renewed sense of purpose; I think he is going to be a tough one to beat. Ross: I have to agree with that completely, Harris looked remarkable against Canadian Dragon last week and I am sure any ring rust that was there is long gone by now.
HARDBODY HARRIS vs. AX-MAN
This rivalry goes back several months; Ax is the only man in OOWF history who has made Hardbody Harris submit. Ax comes to the ring first, flanked by 3Piece Set members Chris Cole and Firechild. Harris comes out next to a huge eruption by the fans. Harris notices the extra help at ringside, so he smiles at the trio and waves to the back. Outback Jack and GatorBait make their way to ringside to even things up a bit. 3Piece Set is not happy about this at all. Ax shows his displeasure by attacking Harris when his back is turned and slamming him face first into the top turnbuckle. Ax spins Harris around in the corner and chokes him until Harris slumps into the corner. Ax probably would have killed Harris, except the ref threatened him with disqualification. Ax slides out of the ring and grabs Harris’ leg and slams it into the ring post several times. Looks like Ax is going to work on that leg again. The ref warns Ax and Ax slides back into the ring to argue a bit. With the referee distracted, Cole and Firechild each grab a leg and pull Harris crotch first into the ring post. This brings Outback Jack and GatorBait into the fray and they attack Firechild and Cole, they brawl to the back. Ax is not happy with his backup being gone from ringside, and argues with the ref some more. This gives Harris time to recover. Ax turns his attention back to Harris and Hardbody explodes out of the corner and levels Ax with a clothesline. Harris grabs Ax’s legs and threatens to kick him in the crotch, Ax begs and the ref warns Harris. Harris suddenly points to the entrance ramp, when the ref turns his head to look; Harris drops a knee right in Ax’s groin! Harris pulls Ax to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him with a power slam. Cover gets a two count; Ax is just able to get his shoulder up. Harris pulls Ax to his feet and hits a pendulum back breaker, Harris then locks on a figure four of his own. Ax writhes in pain, and tries to make it to the ropes. After several minutes Ax finally makes it to the ropes and forces the break. Ax slowly gets to his feet Harris stalks Ax, each time he gets to his feet, Harris kicks his knee and Ax falls to the mat. Harris pulls Ax up and pulls him um into a loooooong vertical suplex, but instead of falling backwards, Harris drops Ax midsection first across the ropes. Harris plays to the crowd a bit, then charges Ax who is just back into the ring, Ax ducks and back body drops Harris over the top rope. Ax takes over, sliding out of the ring and slamming Harris’ face into the steel railing. Ax rolls Harris into the ring and climbs to the top rope. Ax busts out a huge moon sault, but unfortunately for him, Harris moves. Ax flops around in pain on the mat, Harris gets to his feet and waits, as soon as Ax gets up Harris hits a TO BE EDITED IN LATER! Cover, 1,2,3! It’s over. WINNER in 19:44 Hardbody Harris
Ross: Great win by Harris, although it does appear that there is still some lingering ring rust, he didn’t look quite as sharp as he normally does. Razz: Well now hold on Ross, lets give a little credit to Ax-Man as well, I don’t think it was so much Harris sporting ring rust as it was Ax kept him off of his game for most of the match. Give the devil his due Ross! Ross: Well I certainly didn’t mean to take anything away from Ax, he looked great out there tonight, I just feel that Harris does not look 1005 after his layoff yet. Razz: Hey Ross, do you think these two teams will be inviting each other over for Sunday dinner anytime soon? Ross: Razz, I am surprised these two teams can be in the same state at the same time. I have never seen so much hatred between four men; these guys just flat out hate each other. Razz: And if that wasn’t bad enough, on the line in this match is a shot at 3Piece Set next week for the tag team titles Ross: I am not sure how wise it is to give these two teams more of a reason to want to beat the other to death, but that is the wisdom of GM the Rick
OUTBACK JACK & GATORBAIT vs. FF CAPSLOCK & STANK – Winner gets a shot at 3PS next week
The match starts off with GB and FFC locking up mid ring and GB gain the early advantage with a belly-to-belly suplex. GB locks on an arm bar, and everything breaks down form there. Stank comes in and boots GB in the back, OBJ then returns the favor with yakuza kick to Stank’s face. All four men begin to brawl viciously, no OMG! Workrate!!!1!! here. Stank and FFC end up face first on the floor with the Aussies standing in the ring. GB gets a wild look in his eyes and bolts out of the ring and brings a table back in. OBJ begins to laugh and rolls out and rolls FFC back into the ring. They set up FFC for a 3D through the table and but Stank is in and luckily moves the table out of the way at the last second. FFC sells the 3D like a gunshot and appears dead. Stank throws OBJ out of the ring and begins pummeling GB with stiff kicks and stomps. FFC has now rolled out of the ring and OBJ is on him like stink on shit beating away at the bigger man. GB to his feet and tries to fight back against Stank but gets a massive T-bone suplex THROUGH THE TABLE!!!! for his efforts for his efforts, Stank covers but is pulled out of the ring by OBJ before the 3 count. OBJ and Stank go toe-to toe out side the ring. Stank reverses a whip attempt by Jack and sends him face first into the ring post. Stank digs into his trunks (eww) and pulls out some brass knucks and KO’s Stank. FFC sneaks in and pulls Gator to his feet. FFC whips him into the corner and kills him with a splash. Stank slides into the ring and then picks Gator up for a Stank-Bomb (powerbomb). Gator tries to fight out of it but can’t. Stank hits the bomb, then FFC hits the Pride of Fresno on the prone GB for the pin as Stank leaves the ring and pummels OBJ on the outside. WINNERS in 21:11 FF Capslock & Stank
Ross: Well Stank and Capslock get the shot, although once again, certainly not on their god-given ability. It took a pair of brass knuckles to get the win. Razz: Well to be honest, I got no defense on this one, they very well could have beaten Jack and Gator clean, but I guess their hatred of each other just got in the way. I got nothing else Ross: Well it is a sad thing that these guys feel the need to resort to that; I sincerely hope there is none of that in this next match. Razz: Well Ross, Capellan may have to resort to that kind of violence. UnderDawg is not going to be a happy man after the beating he took last week at the hands of the Devil’s Brigade and Donovan Viper Ross: and your heart has to go out to Capellan, this kid challenged UnderDawg, he stepped up and said if he was going to make his mark in this business, he wanted it to be against the best. I think he may be in a bit over his head, especially after last week,
UNDERDAWG vs. CAPELLAN
Capellan watches UnderDawg’s entrance with a look of grim determination on his face. Dawg finally makes it to the ring and Capellan strides right to the middle of the ring and offers his hand. UnderDawg eyes him for a moment then shakes the rookies hand. They go to opposite corners and wait for the bell. The bell rings and the two meet in the center of the ring, collar and elbow tie up, Capellan grabs a side headlock. UD quickly sends him to the ropes and tanks him down with a shoulderblock. Capellan gets right back to his feet and they go at it again, this time UD scoops him up for a slam, but Capellan gets free and dropkicks UD in the back sending him staggering to the ropes. This seems to annoy UD more than anything else, and he charges at Capellan, Capellan ducks a clothesline, peppers UD with a few shots to the face, then grabs him and hits an Acid Drop! Capellan covers, but UD kicks out emphatically at two. Capellan springs to his feet and tries a kick to UD’s midsection, Dawg catches his foot, Capellan hits an enzuguri instead. It staggers UD. Capellan kips up off of the mat, but when he does, he kips up right into a UD chokehold. UD lifts the much lighter Capellan for a choke slam using just one arm. While in midair, Capellan grapevines his legs around UD’s arm and twists, UD tries to drop Capellan but Capellan holds on, turns slightly and has a fijiwara arm bar applied! UD makes it to the ropes and the ref forces the break. Capellan is to his feet first and he darts in snapping UD’s head back with shots to the jaw. Finally Capellan gets one step too close. UD grabs the back of his head with one hand and pulls him toward him, smashing him in the face with a forearm with the other. Capellan falls to the mat and looks stunned for a moment. UD grabs Capellan’s arm and pulls him to his feet, only to level him with a clothesline, he does this several times until Capellan is down on the mat, seemingly out. UD pulls him to his feet again, sends him to the ropes and connects wit ha big boot to the face. Capellan crumples to the mat and UD makes the cover. To everyone’s surprise, Capellan kicks out at two. UnderDawg goes on the massive offensive now, pummeling Capellan for the next several minutes. UnderDawg hits everything on Capellan, but the rookie just won’t stay down. UnderDawg throws Capellan out of the ring and brutalizes the youngster on the outside, slamming him on the concrete, sending him back first into the steel ring post, and barrier, slamming him on the ramp. UnderDawg finishes the brutalization by hitting a FirePlug Piledriver on the ring steps. Dawg rolls back in to accept his count out victory. The ref hits eight, but then Capellan’s bloody head pops up from the apron. Somehow he manages to make it back into the ring just before ten. UD grabs Capellan, pulls him up and scoops him for a slam; Cap frees himself and rolls UD up from behind for two. UD goes ballistic now; he tries to kick Capellan’s head into the seventh row, then hits a choke slam, once, twice, three times. Capellan kicks out! What the hell? UD lifts him and destroys him with a last ride, then follows it with yet another fireplug pile diver. This time Capellan cannot kick out. WINNER in 15:15 UnderDawg
After the match UnderDawg leaves the ring, Capellan is starting to stir, pulling himself up by the ropes. UnderDawg stops on the ramp and heads back to the ring. The fans are stunned thinking UD is going to wail on Cap some more, but instead, UD helps Capellan to his feet, raises the rookie’s arm and celebrates with him in the middle of the ring. Capellan is grinning like an idiot at the respect shown by UD, or it might be a concussion, time will tell that. UD helps Capellan to the back and the fans go nuts.
Razz: Ross, do you think Capellan has a clue where he is right about now? Ross: No I do not. But that was one hell of a performance by the rookie; he showed more courage out there tonight than Johnny Adrenaline has shown in his entire life. Razz: And Dawg damn near beat the courage out of him, Ross there is a fine line between courage and stupidity, and Capellan refusing to stay down was crossing that line, by leaps and bounds. Ross: Say what you will, but I guarantee this, the boys in the back will never look at Capellan the same way again. Will we be looking at Firechild as the Onslaught Champion after tonight? I am going on record and saying no. Razz: Well we can’t say that being the champion is easier here, he can’t get himself DQ’d to save his title, plus this is a best of three, these can be more difficult, in essence you can give a match away if need be, in order to fight in another match, but that is a hard concept for our athletes to accept. Ross: I don’t see either man doing anything other than trying their damndest to win the match. I don’t like Firechild’s choice of friends, but the man has impressed me in the ring, especially as of late. This one should be a classic.
FIRECHILD vs. THIM REYNOLDS – Onslaught Championship Match 2 out of 3 Falls
The two men meet in the center of the ring, circle and lock up. Firechild grabs an arm wringer, Thim is quick to reverse it and turn it into a hammerlock. FC tries to reach between his legs for Thim’s leg, but Thim avoids it, finally FC gets to the ropes forcing a clean break. The two circle again, Thim motions to lock up, FC ducks under him, and then Thim turns around FC unleashes a hard knife edge chop. This seems to little more than irritate Thim, so he unleashes a barrage of chops that back FC into the corner. TR whips FC out of the corner; FC hits the corner hard, and staggers forward, TR bounds off the ropes and takes FC down with a bulldog. Now that FC is down, Thim can go to work. Thim grapevines the arms and rolls FC over on his shoulders, FC just barely kicks out at two. Thim keeps hold of FC’s arms and pulls him back in a camel clutch and plants a knee right in his back. Firechild groans in pain but will not submit. TR releases the hold and gets to his feet. He pulls FC up and tries a belly to back suplex, but FC flips out of it and lands on his feet. WE go back and forth for a few minutes, TR tries to get FC back on the mat, FC keeps TR off balance with a faster paced match. The turning point comes when FC whips TR into the corner and speeds in; Thim explodes out of the corner and hits FC with a clothesline to the jaw. FC is stunned and falls to the mat face first. TR pounces, he grabs locks up FC’s legs like a STF, grabs one arm in a hammerlock, and then grabs Thim’s head in a Dragon sleeper type move, all t his puts immense pressure on the knee, shoulder, neck and back. FC resists for a minute, then is forced to tap. WINNER of the first fall in 8:12 Thim Reynolds, Thim leads 1-0 The ref orders Thim back to a corer and gives FC one minute to get to the opposite corner. Firechild gets to his feet and winces in pain. FC collapses into the corner, the ref calls for the bell, and the second match is underway. As soon as the bell rings Thim charges to the opposite corner to attack, but FC thinks quickly and hits TR with a super kick. TR falls to the mat like he had been shot; FC slumps to one knee in the corner, then shakes the cobwebs loose and springs to the top rope and hits a 360 leg drop on Thim. FC covers but can only get a two count. FC pulls TR to his feet and hits a belly to belly suplex on the big man (!) Another cover only gets two. FC waits for Thim to get to his feet, sprints hits the top turnbuckle and leaps in the air with an impressive Moonsault. Thim takes a step forward, and FC lands on his feet right behind TR, Thim reaches back, grabs FC and drops him with a stunner. FC is dazed, and now it is TR’s turn to shake the cobwebs loose. Thim pulls FC to a sitting position and locks on the Nerve hold of Doom! FC fights it, and actually gets to his feet; Thim breaks the hold, grabs FC around the waist and hits a side slam, then reapplies the hold. FC is fading so TR bounds off the ropes for the clothesline. FC once again ducks the move, bending forward at the waist. Thim hits the ropes; FC grabs him, rolls backward into a roll up pin, and bridges. The ref hits three just as Thim was getting his shoulder up. WINNER of the second fall in 7:47 (15:59 overall) Firechild, tied 1-1 After the requisite 1-minute grace period, both men are back in their corners and the ref calls for the bell for the third and deciding fall. Both men get a burst of energy and meet in the center of the ring and exchange chops and forearms (no punches, that would be illegal!) Thim avoids a forearm and takes FC down with a leg trip. TR grabs the ankle for the Reflex-O-Lock, but FC fights to the ropes in a hurry. TR pulls him to his feet and stuns him with a European uppercut, then sends FC to the ropes. TR tries a clothesline, but FC ducks and grabs TR in a crucifix pin attempt, but he can’t get the bigger Thim over, Thim regains his balance and just falls backward in a Samoan drop. Cover gets two, then FC hooks TR’s arms and rolls him backward into the crucifix pin. TR gets out at two. TR is to his feet first and destroys FC with a clothesline. Reynolds hefts FC up on his shoulders in a backbreaker, but FC will not quit. TR turns it into a reverse DVD, cover only gets two. Both men to their feet, FC stuns TR with a spinning leg lariat, Thim staggers, FC takes him down with a shining wizard. FC stalks TR waiting for him to get to his feet, FC grabs TR for the diamond cutter, but TR pushes him to the ropes, TR catches him in the midsection, then KILLS FC with a brain buster. FC is down, TR grabs his leg and slaps on the Reflex-O-Lock in the center of the ring, FC screams in pain and
The lights in the arena go out, a serene calming music starts; a spot of brilliant light starts at the entrance ramp and gradually increases until the entire arena is flooded in brilliant white light. A voice whispers, “The path of the wicked shall not go unpunished. To punish those who have strayed from the path, some of the righteous must suffer. You may not understand now…. but you will”
The arena goes dark again; the music stops and the lights come back on. Thim stands looking at the entrance ramp stunned, he turns around and a recovered Firechild kicks him and somehow hits the Wings of Phoenix. Firechild makes the cover, Thim cannot kick out. WINNER in 12:14 (28:13 overall) and still Onslaught Champion Firechild
Ross: What the hell was that? That was Seraph? Why would he get involved in this match? He already secured a spot in next week’s match? Razz: Mind games Ross, it’s all about mind games. That was a helluva match to boot. Ross: Indeed it was the classic that we all expected it to be, scientific, pure wrestling at its best. Razz: Think we’ll see much of that in our next match? Ross: I am not sure Johnny Adrenaline is capable of going an entire match without cheating; it is just not in him Razz: Blackdragon now has the upper hand, he is the champ, let’s see how the champ fares in his first title defense.
JOHNNY ADRENALINE vs. BLACKDRAGON – OOWF Intercontinental Title Match
BD holds the title right in Johnny's face before the bell. JA jumps BD at the bell, and takes him down with a modified belly to back suplex. JA switches to a headlock, but BD fights up, counters to a fireman's carry and takes the challenger over for a one count. Johnny's up and tells the ref that Dragon pulled his hair. The official is having none of it, and JA turns his attention back to Dragon. They lock up, and Johnny grabs a headlock, and takes BD over with it. Dragon kips up out of it, leaving Johnny momentarily perplexed. JA charges and BD hits a clothesline. Then Dragon chops Johnny back into a corner. JA asks for a break, and Dragon obliges. JA cautiously moves in, but right before another lockup, Johnny goes to the eyes. The challenger grabs Dragon from behind and drops him with an inverted DDT and gets a two count. Johnny mounts Dragon and punches him several times, rips the bandage from above Dragon's eye and reopens the cut from Sunday. JA is ruthless, pounding away at the wound. He pulls the champion up, and uses the ropes to help open the cut some more. Johnny then sets Dragon by the ropes, runs to the other side of the ring, and comes back, leaps over the top rope, grabbing Dragon's head and guillotining it over the top rope on the way down. JA rolls back in and gets a two count. Johnny grabs a reverse chin lock and torques on it, but Dragon fights to his feet. BD tries to suplex Johnny over, but JA counters with an arm drag, then follows that with a vicious clothesline, sending the champion down again. JA pulls BD up and slaps him one time, then again. This infuriates Dragon, who opens up on Johnny with rights and lefts, backing Johnny all the way into the corner. BD kicks JA a few times, then looks for a Stinger Splash, but Johnny ducks out of the way. The challenger sets Dragon up on the turnbuckle and tries a belly to back suplex from the top. But Dragon fights it, elbowing Johnny, who falls to the mat. Dragon gets his footing and hits the moonsault. One, two, three, and just like that, Dragon retains. Winner at 9:30 and still OOWF Intercontinental Champion: Black Dragon.
The referee hands Dragon his title and BD poses to the crowd. As he goes to climb the turnbuckle however, Adrenaline comes from behind with a steel chair and levels him. Johnny goes to town with the chair, at least eight or nine shots before the referee comes over to restrain him. Johnny shoves the official away, and continues the assault. Finally, several OOWF officials hit the ring and pull Johnny away. As the officials tend to Dragon, security hauls Adrenaline away, as Johnny, by the looks of his eyes, has completely lost it.

Good riddance to bad rubbish I say Razz: Rubbish? The hell? Anyway, Ross think you can focus on our main event tonight? Niles Anderson defends the title against Donovan Viper Ross: This should be a great one, lets get it started now!
