OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Plymouth, Montserrat
DR. INFERIERI vs. URUGUAY JIMUruguay Jim is waiting in the ring as "Pomp and Circumstance" plays. Dr. Infieri makes his entrance, to a round of polite applause. The two meet up in the center and Uruguay Jim holds out his hand. Infieri looks down at him for a minute, and then does a slow, raise of his hand to....take Uruguay Jim's. They share a manly handshake, separate, and the referee calls for the bell, and we're off.
They open with the standard opening exchange of wrist locks and stuff. Kinda textbook stuff as the new guy for OOWF and the jobber from South America are just kind of feeling their way around to make a good impression. Uruguay Jim strikes first with a series of arm drags, the third of which Infieri reverses into his own arm drag. Before Uruguay Jim gets up, Infieri pounces on him in a Thesz press causing the referee to count, but Uruguay Jim kicks out easily. Infieri helps him up by the hair (drawing a warning from the referee) and pulls him into a knee to the face. There's a trickle of blood coming out of Uruguay Jim's nose, but he throws his arms out, knocking Infieri back. Uruguay Jim charges, and shoulder blocks Infieri several times into the ring post. Infieri catches a breath and counters with a downward elbow to Uruguay Jim's back. Uruguay Jim drops to one knee, and Infieri knocks him backward with a European upper cut. Uruguay Jim rolls through, so he's standing when Infieri charges him. He grabs Infieri and is able to get him up and then back down for a jackknife power bomb. Uruguay Jim makes the cover, one...two....no! Infieri kicks out, and he does so with such force that he knocks Uruguay Jim backward. Infieri gets to his feet, as does Uruguay Jim. But Infieri is just a half second faster, and so he hits the ropes and comes off with an Enziguiri. Uruguay Jim is back down to one knee, so Infieri follows up with a shining wizard. Uruguay Jim is loopy now, and Infieri takes a moment to size him up before hitting the Textbook Suplex!!!! Uruguay Jim is out, folks, and Infieri makes the cover, one...two....THREE!
WINNER in 3:54 – Dr. Inferieri
ECOSYSTEM & TYLER VANGARD vs. POE & STANK vs. SANCTUMPA: (opening bars of "Mausam and Escape")
The glow of the V appears on the OOTron to a very loud reaction, spliced with intermediate boos. Poe and Stank enter the ring as some fans hold up supportive signs against the crowd reaction. They eschew hand-slapping and storm down to the ring with confident grimaces, unhappy with their loss the night before but clearly believing they have the advantage against two bitter teams. They enter the ring and stare out atop the turnbuckles, waiting as sentries for the arriving teams.
PA: Someday you'll see...YOU'RE JUST LIKE ME!
"Snow White Queen" hits the OOTron and Ravenna Blue and "Concrete" Takaken Gryfon enter, slapping hands with fans and handing merchandise to young fans--armbands from Ravenna and a mask from Gryfon. They work the explosive crowd into an utter frenzy, as these Plymouth fans want to see the former Heroes' Guild get revenge on the hypocrites of Salvation. They enter into the ring and go nose-to-nose with Poe and Stank, with the fans chanting "Blue! Blue! Blue!' in support of their hero Ravenna.
PA: MY GOD, MY TOURNIQUET, RETURN TO ME SALVATION!
The rest of Evanescence's "Tourniquet" is completely drowned out by the boos of the audience as Ecosystem and Vangarde enter the arena. Ecosystem gestures for a single spotlight and kneels down as if to pray with the smuggest possible expression on his face following his victory at Storming The Beach. He throws his hand upward for a microphone, and a Kennedy-mike drops down to Eco, which he takes.
Ecosystem: Will you Montserrat sinners please be quiet for one solitary moment? (HUGE boos fill the arena.) Tonight, our friends in Sanctum have a unique opportunity--(Loud chants of "Eco Sucks")--SHUT UP! (Louder boos.) SHUT UP WHEN I'M SPEAKING! (The crowd chants "Shut Up And Wrestle!" as The Five and Sanctum laugh in the ring.) They have a unique opportunity to test themselves against two of the most dominant world champions in Poe and Stank (mixed reaction) and against the SINGLE GREATEST TAG TEAM IN OOWF HISTORY (Tremendous boos) Last chance. Make me take you seriously.
Eco lets the microphone rise back above the OOTron, and the two walk down to the ring, entering the ropes and immediately going nose to nose with There is a brief argument between the tag teams as to whether two or three people will begin, but Gryfon immediately jumps Vangarde and all other just back off to their corners. Crete is laying into Tyler with right hands, with most in the ring cheering him on. Tyler reaches up and rakes the eyes hard, slapping Gryfon with his left hand and knocking him off. Vangarde comes off the ropes with a knee to Gryfon's face, but Poe tagged himself in on Vangarde's back! Tyler continues to put the boots to Gryfon until Poe tears him off and locks an abdominal stretch on Crete. Tyler, undeterred, gives Crete a hard kick to the midsection, prompting Ravenna to run in and spear him down, as both brawl to the outside. Eco takes the opportunity to sneak a quick shin kick to Poe, allowing Gryfon to throw the big man down with a modified hip toss. Poe glares over at Eco, who gives a "Who-Me?" look as Gryfon hits Poe with a flying dropkick. Stank comes around the ring to tell off Eco, who jumps down with a plancha attempt. Stank catches him and releases him with a rolling Last Call suplex, throwing him right into a standing Ravenna, knocking her down! Vangarde sees this and hops off Eco to hit Stank with a faceplant. The exasperated referee throws up his arms as the brawl outside continues.
Gryfon has Poe locked into a side crossface, but Poe pulls himself over and grabs the rope. Gryfon releases the hold, and Poe comes at him with a hard Zidane headbutt. Tyler hops up and tags himself back in, charging Gryfon down and pulling him into the MANIFESTO! Stank reaches in and slaps Gryfon across the face to tag himself in, running in and pulling Tyler up into a hard CHOKESLAM! He goes for the cover, 1-2-Eco breaks him up with a legdrop across the back of Stank's neck, but Ravenna pursues him inside and Lou Thesz presses him down. They roll outside as Tyler tries to roll up Stank, but Stank grabs the ropes before the referee can count. Gryfon tags himself in on Stank, hopping over the big man's shoulders and grabbing a staggering Tyler for the patented Flippy Shit Neck breaker! He goes for the cover, 1-2-Tyler kicks out. Gryfon whips Tyler into the ropes, Poe tags himself in on Tyler who bounds off and SPEARS Gryfon down. Poe runs in with a massive HIEROGLYPH to Tyler, who then rolls out of the ring. Poe goes for the cover on Crete, but he gets the shoulder up at one. He drops down to the Camel Clutch on Crete, who is struggling as Stank taunts him on the outside. Suddenly, Ravenna runs in and kicks Poe in the back of the head hard, sending him flat down. Stank runs in, but Ravenna uses his momentum to hoist him in...as Eco runs back in from outside to grab Stank's neck as he comes down....is that...
YES! Modified Dudley Death Drop to Stank, who rolls out of the ring as Eco and Ravenna trade a glare. Poe stumbles back up and goozles both Ravenna and Eco. Eco pulls himself free with a tag rope, slapping Poe's arm--was that a blind tag? Regardless, Poe chokeslams Ravenna down--and is then rolled up himself by Gryfon, for a 2-count before Poe powers out. Gryfon grabs Poe around the head, double arm DDT! 1-2-Poe gets the leg on the ropes. Gryfon pulls Poe up into a standing chicken wing position, but Poe flips him over the back with a flapjack that knocks him silly.. Poe stumbles into a corner where Stank tags himself in--but Poe isn't the legal man! Stank is held back by Tyler, who tags himself in and gives Stank a forward Ace Crusher, sending him tumbling to the outside, landing hard on his side. Tyler's still not the legal man, however! Ravenna tags herself in on Gryfon to enter the match, with a charging shoulderblock to knock down Tyler. She bounds off the ropes, but Tyler ducks the Lou Thesz press! Ravenna spins around and lays out Tyler Vangarde with a superkick, but she's staggering too much to make the cover. Ecosystem jumps off the top rope, grabs Ravenna by the head, and catches Ravenna with a CODEBREAKER! Tyler rolls out of the ring, Eco's the legal man! He looks down at Ravenna, pulls her up...ENDGAME! He goes for the cover, Gryfon is being held back by Tyler, 1-2-3!
WINNER in 20:22....Ecosystem and Tyler Vangarde...SALVATION!
Eco rolls out of the ring looking like he just won a gold medal. He pulls Tyler up the ramp with him as Poe and Stank look on annoyed and Gryfon tends to Ravenna in-ring. Eco motions for the spotlight on top of the ring, prompting audience boos, and has the Kennedy microphone drop to him.
Eco: Ravenna, Ravenna, Ravenna...(boos echoing throughout the arena)...Three matches in a row. Three matches in a row, I have held the 1-2-3 over you and Sanctum. You better think long and hard, Ravenna...can you really do this yourself?
The crowd boos as Eco releases the microphone and heads to the back, holding Tyler back from charging Gryfon again.
NOTHING HAPPENED vs. SALVATION – Winner Gets a Title Shot Steel Cage MatchTytan and Wrath, representing Salvation, are out first, to the crowd's displeasure. They march down the aisle and circle the cage, making a show of testing the walls before entering. The crowd's mood brightens considerably as Nothing Happened steps onto the stage. Alexis Darling and Davin Moreland are accompanied by Samantha Darling-Moreland, who poses with them before heading backstage as they walk to the ring. Davin and Alexis ignore the cage entirely and climb into the ring. Referee Angelo Barros reviews the rules with both teams - this will be a one-fall match with an OOWF Tag Team Title shot on the line. There will be no disqualifications, and the match must end with a pin fall or submission – escaping the cage will not count. All four wrestlers nod their consent and Barros locks the cage door and calls for the bell.
Alexis walks to center ring and calls Wrath out. He steps forward, and Alexis raises her hand for a test of strength. Wrath looks around, laughing, but Alexis seems to be serious. Wrath steps up and they clasp one hand, then the other, and Alexis kicks him square in the balls. Wrath doubles over with a squeak, and Alexis springs off the second rope and drives a knee into the back of his neck, which slams his face into the mat. Tytan grabs Alexis by the hair from behind and drags her to her feet, but Davin storms across the ring and levels him with a clothesline. Some of Alexis' hair goes with him, and she holds her head and glares at her partner. Davin smiles and shrugs, and Alexis runs at him, stepping onto his clasped hands and Moonsaulting onto Wrath. She hooks the leg and gets a two count before Tytan breaks it up.
Alexis rolls to her feet and slams a kick into Tytan's head as he gets up. She drags Tytan over until he's sitting in the corner, and then climbs onto the second rope and jumps, driving both feet into his face. Davin, meanwhile, drags Wrath to his feet and suplexes him into the corner. He pulls Wrath to his feet and slams his head into the cage, and then pummels him with chops. Davin moves out of the way, and Alexis sprints across the ring and hits Wrath with a Stinger splash. Tytan pulls himself to his feet in the opposite corner, and Davin runs across and stuns him with a clothesline. Alexis runs toward her partner, who turns and alley-oops her onto Tytan. Alexis tries for a hurricanrana, but Tytan hurls her over his head into the cage. Alexis lands on the cage wall like spiderwoman, and leaps onto Tytan when he turns around. She tries for a tornado DDT, but Tytan grabs the ropes to block. Alexis wraps her legs around his chest and shifts her grip into a guillotine choke. Tytan staggers around the ring, but can't shake her off. Wrath moves to help, but Davin cuts him off with a forearm to the jaw. Wrath fires back, and they brawl toward the ropes. Wrath gets a momentary advantage, and runs Davin face-first into the cage. Davin staggers back, and Wrath scoops and slams him, and then drives a knee into his temple. He covers, but only gets a two count. Wrath gets up and grabs Davin's legs, falling back and slingshotting him into the cage.
Alexis, meanwhile, has Tytan down on one knee in the choke. Barros checks, but Tytan refuses to submit. With a roar, Tytan lurches to his feet and drives Alexis into the turnbuckles. She hangs on, so Tytan backs up and does it again. This time her grip loosens, and Tytan sets her on the top turnbuckle and slaps her across the face. Tytan climbs up the turnbuckles and drags Alexis up as well until they are both standing on the top rope. He tries to slam her head into the cage, but she slips away. Alexis kicks out Tytan's leg and throws her weight at his back, driving his face into the cage. Before she can continue the attack, Wrath gets underneath her and powerbombs her to the mat. Wrath helps his partner down and they turn to Davin, who is just getting up.
Davin backs into the corner, looking back and forth from Tytan to Wrath. With a sudden roar, he launches himself out of the corner and takes them both down with a double clothesline. He scoops Wrath up and slams him to the mat, and then does the same to Tytan. Punch for Wrath. Punch for Tytan. Davin goes for a Really Good Diamond Cutter on Wrath, but Tytan spears him mid-move, driving both Davin and Wrath into the corner. Tytan hits a pair of European uppercuts and sends Davin hard into the opposite corner. Tytan whips Wrath across the ring as well, and he collides skull-to-skull with Davin. Wrath falls to the mat, and Tytan drills Davin with another spear. Tytan lifts Davin for the Helios Bomb, but Alexis is up and pops him in the mouth with a superkick. Tytan drops Davin and stumbles forward, and Alexis hooks him for a DDT. Before she can hit the move, Tytan grabs her and straightens up, lifting her for a suplex. Wrath staggers to his feet and Tytan drapes Alexis across his shoulders. Wrath turns and plants her with the Vengeful Anger. Wrath hooks the leg, and Davin lurches out of the corner, but Tytan hits him with a sidewalk slam as Barros counts One…two…Three.
WINNERS, earning an OOWF World Tag Team Title shot, in 14:32, Salvation.
MATT FOLZ vs. STAN FULTON vs. LD WILLIAMS – OOWF Onslaught Championship Triple Threat MatchThe crowd booing as OOWF newcomer Stan Fulton hits the ring. Followed by former Onslaught champion LD Williams. Then finally the new Onslaught title holder, Matt Folz, comes down the aisle, wearing the title belt over heavily taped ribs. The bell rings and we're underway.
Fulton goes after Folz right away, charging at him and hitting him with a clothesline just seconds after the bell rings. Fulton picks Folz up, whips him against the ropes, tries for a Black Hole Slam but Folz counters out of it. Folz tries for a German suplex, but can't get him up, Fulton laughing as he sees Folz clutching his ribs. Fulton hits Folz with a short right hook to the ribs and Folz goes down instantly like he's been shot. LD rolls Fulton up from behind for 2. Both men back to their feet as Folz is still down in the corner. LD shoots in and takes Fulton down with a double leg, then gets a half nelson rollup for 2. LD springs off the ropes, looking for a clothesline, but Fulton ducks and backdrops him over the top rope.
Folz trying to pull himself up using the ropes, but Fulton right back on him, pounding him in the corner, going right for the injured ribs with powerful lefts and rights. Fulton whips Folz chest first into the opposite turnbuckle, sending Folz right back down holding his ribs. A closeup of Folz's face shows that he's bleeding from the mouth already. Fulton with a simple, yet effective bearhug. Folz trying to punch his way out of it, but he's got nothing behind them. Suddenly LD Williams comes back in with a dropkick to the back of Fulton's head, breaking the hold and sending both him and Folz down. LD trying for a DDT, reversed by Fulton into a suplex. Fulton drops an elbow for 2. Picking LD up, whipping him into the corner, getting a full head of steam, looking for the Avalanche, LD just gets out of the way at the last second.
LD going over, helping Folz up as you can see them chatting. Double dropkick from Folz and LD taking Fulton down, followed by a double clothesline when he tries to get back to his feet. Folz and LD get the big man up and somehow team up to hit a doubleteam Brainbuster. Followed by one of the greatest tag team moves ever: TOTAL ELIMINATION. Folz and LD working well together......until Folz predictably turns on him, using most of his remaining strength to hit a HUGE lariat. Folz covers a still down Fulton, 1...2....No. Folz then tries covering LD, 1...2...foot on the rope. A frustrated Folz slams the mat, then struggles to his feet, setting his opponents up for a double clothesline. LD ducks, Folz hits Fulton with a clothesline, LD quickly hits a Randy Orton style backbreaker on Folz, further injuring his ribs. LD puts Folz in a body scissors, really cranking on it as Folz screams in pain. Folz trying desperately to get to the ropes, but LD's got it hooked right in the middle of the ring. Folz looks like he's about to tap, but just before he does, Fulton kicks LD full force in the face to break the hold.
Fulton picking Folz up, whipping him chest first into the corner, then quickly hitting the Avalance, forcing Folz's ribs between his gut and the corner, Folz hits the mat, pretty much unconscious now, as Fulton covers...1, 2......LD just breaks it up miliseconds before the pin fall. The referee checking on Folz as Fulton hits a low blow on LD. Fulton with a running powerslam, going to the second rope, looking for the Crusher. Fulton leaps, LD just rolls out of the way in time, quickly sliding on the STF. Fulton holding his hand up, maybe about to tap, as the bell rings. Did Fulton tap? No, the time limit expired.
WINNER: None, 15 minute draw.
After the match, as Folz is being helped to the back by Hayden, lucky to still have his title, he comments to her "Man, that fat fuck hits like a tank"
TEXPRESS vs. OUTBACK JACK & SPIN HANSEN – OOWF World Tag Team Title Match"God Bless Texas" plays over the PA system as the OOWF World Tag Team Champions Chad Madison and Zane Myers come out to thunderous cheers. They hold aloft their belts and come down with alternating handslaps the whole way, looking happy to take on some fresh challenges. Spin Hansen and Outback Jack head out next, with their eyes focused on the ring, ignoring a cheering audience.
JR: You have to believe. Razz, that Spin and Jack are going to want to turn it around tonight after losing Magnusson from the team.
Razz: Well, I tell ya JR, ain't nothing light a fire under you like turning around and seeing nobody's got ya back no more.
After a little nose-to-nose, Chad Madison and Outback Jack elect to begin the match, with Madison receiving a friendly chant of "He's Our Man-Whore!" to some consternation from Chad. Jack takes advantage of the distraction to level Chad with a clothesline. OBJ picks him up, Chad pushes the arms off and starts trading right hands with Jack. Chad whips Jack toward the far ropes, reversal, Chad comes off the ropes as Jack bends down for a backflip, but Chad rolls over him, runs toward the other ropes, Jack charges for a spear, Chad leapfrogs, off the ropes again, crossbody to OBJ! Jack tried to catch him but the momentum was too much, as Chad goes for the cover and gets a one-count. Chad bounds off the ropes and goes for a high-knee strike, but Jack pulls away, grabs Chad by the shoulders and pulls him down into a reverse faceplant. He grabs the legs as they come up, hooks them for a 2-count. He rolls Chad over into a front facelock, with Madison attempting to use his legs to fight up. Jack nails Madison with back forearms to keep him down, but Chad manages to push him back into the corner hard. Chad pulls out of the hold and charges Jack with a running knee. Jack partially scouts it, still catching the knee to his face but pulling Chad's leg such that he flips over and outside the ring to the apron. Jack stumbles and flops from the knee to the face in ring as Chad is being counted out inside.
Chad pulls himself up to the apron at the five-count, just as Outback Jack manages to get the tag to Spin Hansen. Spin is a HOUSE O'FIRE~! He runs in and knocks Zane Myers off the apron with a running dropkick and then runs over to where Chad had been on the apron--but doesn't see him. He turns around to see Chad coming off the adjacent side rope with a TakerKiller seated seanton! He lands square across Spin's chest and hooks the leg, getting a two-count before Spin pushes his ass off. Chad bounds off the opposite ropes and runs as Spin but is met with a HARD bicycle kick. Spin eschews the potential cover in favor of pulling Chad up and nailing him with a Samoan Drop. Surprisingly, the big man decides to go through the ropes and head to the top, coming off for a big splash--but Madison rolls toward the turnbuckle post and Spin lands hard. Spin stumbles upward, as Chad hops to the top rope and comes off with an ensuiguri kick. Hansen half-dodges, causing Chad to fall to the ground hard on his shoulder as Hansen gets knocked back holding the side of his face. Chad comes off the ropes with a flying elbow attempt, but Spin grabs the bended arm and forces him hard to the ground!
Spin rolls over and locks in the Mark Henry Memorial Armbar on Chad Madison! Chad's forearm pounds the mat, but he makes it clear to the referee he's not tapping. Unable to displace Spin's weight, he uses his hand to suddenly tweak Hansen's air, surprising him and allowing Chad to roll his body around and hook his leg to the ropes. The referee makes Spin break the hold, which he reluctantly does at 4. Spin comes off the side rope, dropping his knee on the injured shoulder of Chad Madison HARD. He twists Chad's arm behind his back, trying to force him down, but Chad only goes down halfway, blocking with his knees and leg strength. To Spin's surprise, the crowd rallies up a "Chad! Chad! Chad!" chant, as Chad manages to spring up, bound off the ropes and NAIL Spin in the head with a double knee shot. Spin releases and staggers back. Chad goes to the outside apron, but Jack holds him back from jumping. Spin charges, but Chad drops down and Spin knocks Chad down to the outside apron. A surprised Spin gets a hard right from Chad, who then comes off with a flying shoulderblock, knocking Hansen back but leaving Madison clutching his shoulder. Both Chad and Spin begin to crawl toward their corners as Outback Jack pulls himself up toward the turnbuckle and Zane starts clapping Chad to the corner. Who's going to make it first...
Chad! Chad tags Zane in, who is a SOUPED-UP TEXAS REDNECK HOUSE O'FIYA! He hops off of Spin's back and kicks Outback Jack in the face, sending Jack flying to the barrier outside, where he catches himself on the chin hard, falling backward. Spin shoulderblocks Zane into the corner, but Zane knocks the elbow across the bridge of Spin's nose. Spin steps back as his nose begins to bleed, with Zane acting like a shark and kicking Spin in the face, causing more blood to pour. Zane hops up to the second rope, spinning back fist sending Spin staggering further. Dropkick to the knee, and Spin goes down flat. Zane comes off the ropes with a baseball slide to the face, and Spin is gushing. Zane bounds off the ropes, Chad taking a quiet tag, but Spin catches Zane with a spinebuster! Spin is staggering as Zane is down, but then Chad comes off with a flying senton! Spin is out flat as Madison leaps with a DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS! He goes for the cover as Zane watches Jack on the outside, 1-2-3!
WINNERS in 12:45 and STILL OOWF Tag Team Champions...The Texpress!
Chad and Zane are handed their belts and celebrate in the ring as the crowd goes nuts! Spin rolls out of the ring toward Jack, with both being helped to the back by medical staff, which Spin attempts to push off. The Texpress looks dominant in their first post-Poe/Stank outing as they climb the turnbuckles and pose to an unceasing roar before heading to the back.
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. DEAD vs. CHRIS EVANS – OOWF Intercontinental Title Triple Threat MatchMoosehead Jack enters the ring first to a chorus of boos. He hands the Intercontinental Title off to referee Davis Hightower and slumps in his usual corner. Chris Evans is out next, and gets a tremendous reaction. Evans slides into the ring and Moose lurches out of the corner to meet him. Words are exchanged, but they are interrupted by The Dead's entrance before things escalate. A three-way standoff ensues, until Hightower calls for the bell. Just as it rings, Dead Closes the Casket on Moose, snapping off a visious superkick. He tries to do the same to his other opponent, but Evans sidesteps, sweeps Dead's legs, and hits a Lionsault on Moose, hooking the leg and getting two before Dead breaks it up.
Dead drags Evans to his feet and sends him to the ropes. Evans leapfrogs Dead and comes back with a flying clothesline. Evans rolls to his feet and snaps off an armdrag. He follows with a second one and bars the arm. He rolls Dead onto his stomach and locks on This One's Gonna Hurt. Just as he bridges, however, Moose drives a fist into his stomach to break it up. Moose pitches Evans out of the ring and turns to Dead, who greets him with a chop. Moose responds in kind, and they go back and forth until Moose goes to the eyes to get the advantage. Moose goes for an Irish whip, but Dead reverses. Moose rebounds off the ropes and nails Dead with a Busaiku knee! Moose drags Dead to his feet and sets up the Heart Punch, but Evans springs off the top rope with a missile dropkick that levels both men.
Evans rolls to his feet and nails Moose with a forearm as he gets up. He backs Moose into the corner and sends him across the ring, following him in with a Singer splash. Moose stumbles out of the corner, and Evans plants him with a bulldog. He grabs Moose's legs and goes for the Ode to Canada, but Dead waistlocks him from behind and hits a German suplex. Dead hangs on and bridges, but Moose kicks him to break up the cover at two. Moose tries to drag Dead to his feet, but takes an elbow to the stomach, followed by a European uppercut. Evans joins Dead, and they lift Moose onto the top turnbuckle. Evans and Dead both climb onto the second rope for a superplex, but Dead turns and drives Evans to the mat with an STO! Dead forgoes the cover and runs back up the ropes to hit Moose with a Belly-to-Belly suplex – and plants him on top of Evans!
Moose rolls out to the floor as Dead gets to his feet and pulls Evans up as well. Dead sends Evans to the ropes and plants him with a powerslam, and then backs off and waits for him to get up. As Evans staggers to his feet, Dead tries to Close the Casket – but Evans ducks it and catches Dead with a back kick of his own. He doesn't get all of it, and Dead stays on his feet, but stumbles back against the ropes, where Moose low bridges him, toppling Dead to the outside.
Moose drags Dead to his feet and sends him hard into the railing. Moose gets a running start, but Dead drops to the floor to avoid the Busaiku knee, and Moose gets hung up on the railing. Dead gets in some kicks, and then pulls Moose upright on the railing and drags him onto his shoulders. Inside the ring, Hightower is keeping Evans inside, while trying to keep one eye on the other two. Evans backs off, and Hightower turns to the floor. Evans sprints across the ring and springs off the top rope. He slams into Dead with a bodypress, which drives Dead - and Moose across his shoulders - hard into the railing. Hightower slides out of the ring to check on all three men, and then tries to get them inside. Evans hops onto the apron – only to turn and nail Dead with a dropkick as he tries to get up. Evans and Dead exchange punches and chops, and Hightower is forced to duck and dive as he tries to restore order. With Hightower busy, Moose rolls to his knees and nails Evans with a low blow. Evans squeaks and stumbles forward, and Dead stuffs him under the ropes. He turns to Moose, who slams a fist into his temple. Moose backs Dead against the ringpost and sets him up for a Heartpunch. Evans hits a baseball slide dropkick to Dead, shoving him out of the way and causing Moose's punch to hit steel. Moose doubles over, cradling his hand, and Evans slides out to the apron and leaps – Canadian Destroyer on the floor! Evans gets slowly to his feet – and Dead Closes the Casket! Evans' head slams into the ringpost and he crumples. While Dead is deciding who to attack first the bell rings. Hightower has had enough and has thrown this one out.
WINNER - NO CONTEST, in 14:47.
After the match: Dead looks incredulous, then shrugs and slides into the ring. Before he's all the way in, Moose's arm reaches up from the floor and grabs an ankle. Dead tries to kick him off, but Evans grabs the other ankle. Moose and Evans, both on their knees, yank backwards and Dead slides out of the ring and slams face-first into the floor. Moose turns and pokes Evans in the eyes, and then tries to lock the Jiendo on Dead. Officials hit ringside and manage to pry the three of them apart.
ALEXANDER DARLING vs. FIREWOMAN – Non-Title MatchHere in Plymouth, Montserrat it’s time for another chapter in the epic story of Firewoman and Alexander Darling as they’re set to face each other once again, but this time there is no title on the line. There is pride and retribution and a whole lot more between these two so let’s get to it. Firewoman’s music hits and she comes out from the back with her forehead still covered by that black bandana. She does not get a welcome reception here in Plymouth, but she ignores the fans as she gets into the ring and tests out the ropes. Moments later, Alexander’s music hits and he’s not wasting time as he’s rushing down to the ring and sliding under the bottom rope. He hops to his feet and gets right in Fire’s way as she was still testing the ropes. Fire’s bandana and Alex’s mask are all that’s in the way of Fire and Alex being nose-to-nose and forehead-to-forehead. Referee Hightower is trying to separate the two but they’re having none of that. They’re whispering low enough that the mics can’t pick it up but we can tell it’s quite heated and when Hightower realizes that he won’t be able to get them into neutral corners he just calls for the bell and we are underway.
Even with the match having started, it doesn’t seem like Fire or Alex are planning on moving but finally it seems the words are over and both Fire and Darling back up a step or two and then they both just start throwing forearm shivers. They get staggered with each blow, but come right back and fire away with one of their own. Alexander seems to be getting the advantage until FW hits the ropes and comes back with a vicious clothesline that sends Alex to the mat. AD bounces up off the canvas, but Fire is there to meet him and whips him hard into the corner. She follows up and starts throwing some vicious knife-hand chops right into the face of the Phoenix on Alexander’s chest. After a god five chops, Alexander fights out of the corner and reverses positions with Fire and it’s his turn to throw the chops at Fire’s chest. Both chests are already splotched red with broken blood vessels but these two aren’t letting up. AD snap mares Fire out of the corner and follows it up with a rolling neck breaker that snaps Fire back to the mat. Alexander stays on the attack as he tries to lock Fire’s legs but she has that move scouted and she pushes out of it and rolls onto her back and sweeps Darling’s legs out from under him and she quickly floats over and mounts Alex and starts clubbing him with overhand hammer fists. Darling is trying to cover up, but Fire leaves herself open and Alex brings his legs up and locks Fire’s arms and pushes her down to the mat for a cover…
One…
Two…
Fire kicks out and kips up to her feet as Alexander does the same. Instead of the normal indy wanker cheer, Fire and Alex meet once again and start exchanging blows. This time it’s Fire’s leg kicks that gain the advantage as she gets Alexander down to a knee and damn near takes his head off with a SHINING WIZARD. Darling is dazed as Fire hits a running senton splash and tries to go for a cover. AD looks to reverse positions but Fire rolls all the way to her feet and hits a STANDING SOMERSAULT LEGDROP across Darling’s throat. Fire doesn’t let up as she lifts Alexander up to his feet and goes for a HURRICANRANA but Alex blocks it and tries to lift Fire onto his shoulders, but Fire slips out and lands behind Darling; LUNGBLOWER sends Alex flying and he rolls all the way to the floor. Fire follows him and stands on the apron as she waits for Alex to get to his feet and as soon as he does, TOP-ROPE ASAI MOONSAULT. Both are down on the outside, but Fire is the first one up as she taunts Alex on the ground. She kicks away at him a few times and lifts him up once again. She goes to toss him into the ring, but Alex hits the bottom rope…REBOUND LARIAT and Fire does a full 360 before hitting the floor. Now it’s Alexander’s turn to toss Fire into the ring and as he gets onto the apron…SLINGSHOT SWANTON SPLASH. Alex looks to make the cover, but Fire has enough left to grab Alex…INSIDE CRADLE…
One…
Two…
No, Alex kicks out this time. And once again both get to their feet, this time using the ropes to help them and the match once again enters a very physical back-and-forth portion. Fire hits a wide array of quick, versatile offense all to keep Alex off-balance. Darling uses his indy-specific background of suplexes and head drop type moves to get Fire grounded and after 25 solid minutes, both competitors are down on the mat and it’s impossible to tell who has the advantage as Hightower gives an obligatory 10-count. Fire’s up first at 6 and Darling up just a second later and they meet in the center once again. Fire looks to whip Darling into the corner, but Alex reverses it and the Fire reverses the reversal and they spin themselves back and forth until Fire gets whipped right into Davis Hightower who crumbles like sack of potatoes. Alex starts to check on him, but Fire spins him round and hits a nasty right cross and just as she does, there’s a huge explosion…THE VOLCANO JUST ERUPTED…but it’s not stopping this fight in the ring as Alex fires back with an elbow to Fire’s gut that bends her over and he quickly follows it up and lifts her up…CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB. He looks to lift Fire back to her feet, but she fights off the effects of the power bomb and starts throwing kicks at Alex’s midsection and bends him over this time and FW lifts Darling up, hooks the leg…FISHERMAN BUSTER. But there’s no ref to make the count so Fire gets back to her feet and she rolls Darling over and looks to lock his legs up, but AD powers out and sends Firewoman crashing through the ropes all the way to the floor. Alex gets to his feet rather quickly and hits the ropes…TOPE CONE HILO sends them both crashing into the barricade.
Both are slow to get to their feet, but they do and start slugging it out once again. Fire whips Alex hard into the steel steps, but he fights off the pain and bursts off the steps with a SUPERKICK. Fire flips back to the floor and lands on her back and as Alexander stalks her, she catches him coming in with a monkey flip and follows through so she’s on top once again. They fight away again and back to their feet as medical personnel is getting Hightower back up on his feet. Meanwhile, Fire and Alex have fought over the to the Bermuda Triangle announce table. They clear away the monitors and FW lifts Alex and slams him down onto the table. She climbs up after him and it looks like she’s trying to get Alexander up for his own DARLING DRIVER, but Darling fights it off and lands behind Fire and he spins her around and locks her hand behind her head…HEART PUNCH. Fire looks down and smirks; she fires back with a kick to Alexander’s gut…she quickly follows it up…GOD’S LAST GIFT through the announce table. Hightower is finally up and sees the table explode and he calls for the bell.
After a few moments there is movement in the wreckage of the announce table and Fire is dragging Alex to his feet and she isn’t done as she looks to slam him onto the Atlantis announce table which was next to the Bermuda Triangle. But Alex shakes the cobwebs out and this time he slams Fire onto the table. He looks furious as he rips the bandana off Fire’s head and he grabs one of the nearby monitors and just as he goes to slam it upside Fire’s head she grabs a monitor of her own and slams Alex at the same time. Both crumble to the floor. Davis Hightower continues to call for the bell as Fire and Alex are still slugging away lifelessly on the ground. I doubt either knows where they are but they are still fighting each other. Finally the OOWF security and medical teams make their way out and separate the two as they get treated. After a few moments, security can’t hold them back and they meet once again and start trading shots. They fight all the way up the ramp to the back while in the background the volcano continues to spew lava and ash. Just a great metaphor for the violent outburst we have seen between Alexander Darling and Firewoman and it seems like nothing has been settled.
