OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From St. John’s, Antigua
MR. E vs. JOSIAH BIRDJosiah Bird is announced and he gets a nice ovation from the Antiguan crowd. Bird is a popular competitor in the Island Wrestling Federation and has held their world heavyweight title in the past. “Nod Ya Head” begins playing and Mr. E makes his way to the ring. Bird and E meet in the middle of the ring and exchange knuckle bumps, then the referee sends them to their corner and calls for the bell starting the match. E and Bird come out to the middle and circle and lock up. E grabs a side head lock, but Bird is quick to shove him to the ropes. Bird drops to the mat and E steps over him and hits the far ropes. Bird springs to his feet and tries a hip toss, but E blocks it, catches Bird with a knee to the midsection and drives him to the mat with a neck breaker. E floats over and covers but only gets a one count. E gets to his feet quickly and pulls Bird up and sends him to the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Bird slides between his legs and gets to his feet and catches E with a kick to the midsection, then grabs his head and goes for SLICED BREAD! But E puts on the breaks and shoves Bird off of him as he leaps off the turnbuckle and Bird crashes to the mat. E waits for Bird to get to his feet then bounds off the ropes and drives him to the mat with a bulldog. E scoops Bird up and DRIVES him to the mat with a Juvi driver then heads to the corner and hits a TRIPLE MOONSAULT! E covers, but to Bird’s credit he kicks out at two. E pulls Bird up again and hits a triple suplex, then after the last one, floats over into the CRIPPLER CROSSFACE! Bird is trapped in the middle of the ring and has no escape. He fights the move, but cannot escape, and taps out.
WINNER in 4:21 – Mr. E
After the match Mr. E helps Bird to his feet and shakes his hand. Bird raises E’s hand in victory and the crowd shows their approval with a loud cheer
DDT vs. DR. INFEIERIPA: My God, My Tourniquet...return to me SALVATION!
"Tourniquet" by Evanescence plays over the OOTron as the entrance video for Midweek Mayhem segues into Ecosystem's titantron. Eco comes out to tremendous boos from the crowd, walks over to the announcer's table and sits down.
JR: Starving for facetime, I see?
Eco: I'm out here scouting some friends. Call the match.
"Dynamite" Danny Taylor comes out atop the stage flanked by his manager, DVD. DVD runs up and down the aisle, psyching up the fans who are already cheering the big silent guy. DDT gives a thumbs up to the crowd and quietly slaps hands as he walks up the stairs and enters into the ring. Dr. Infieri is out next, microphone in hand.
Dr. Infieri: "Plebians, please silence yourself for a moment, I have some words to share with you all. (Boos rain down.) It has come to my attention that many of you have not done your homework for the week. There are many great thinkers and writers that you have chosen not to read and ponder, such as Roland Barthes...and...well, let's begin with Roland Barthes"
" 'Wrestling presents man's suffering with all the amplification of tragic masks. The wrestler who suffers in a hold which is reputedly cruel (an arm- lock, a twisted leg) offers an excessive portrayal of Suffering; like a primitive Pieta, he exhibits for all to see his face, exaggeratedly contorted by an intolerable affliction. It is obvious, of course, that in wrestling reserve would be out of place, since it is opposed to the voluntary ostentation of the spectacle, to this Exhibition of Suffering which is the very aim of the fight. This is why all the actions which produce suffering are particularly spectacular, like the gesture of a conjuror who holds out his cards clearly to the public.' "
"The conjuror who holds out his cards clearly." What a bemusing image. There now. Wasn't that edifying?"
DDT and DVD just seem somewhat bemused as Dr. Infieri drops the microphone and enters into the ring. The bell rings and this one is underway! Doctor Infieri and DDT lock up to begin, with Infieri constantly adjusting the lock up so that DDT can't break it. DDT manages to adjust by physically lifting the good doctor up and laying him out with a spinebuster! Goes for the cover, 1-kickout! Dr. Infieri stumbles upward, calling for DDT to assume a kneeling position--he seems to be confusing wrestling varients. DDT runs at Infieri with a boot, but Infieri hooks under into a textbook heel hook! DDT rolls himself into the ropes and manages to get a break.
Infieri pulls Taylor back into the center of the ring and pulls the arms up, steps over into a Camel Clutch! Taylor tries to pull his arms out, but Infieri is properly adjusting his weight and leverage to prevent an arm break. Taylor moves his knees closer inside, attempting to lift Infieri upwards and break his base of strength. DVD gets up on the apron and yells "My mom fucked Roland Barthes, asshole!" which doesn't make a whole lot of sense but distracts Infieri enough that DDT manages to surprise him with the newfound elevation and turn the hold into a suplex/back drop, pancaking Infieri on the mat. DDT off the ropes, lifts the leg, BIG leg drop across the chest of Infieri! He goes for the cover, 1, 2, Infieri kicks out before the ref's hand could come down a third time. DDT points to the turnbuckle post and the crowd goes crazy. DDT goes outside the ropes on the apron, climbs up to the top rope. DVD is yelling for him to come down and go after Infieri from outside, which distracts DDT slightly. Infieri suddenly kips up and goes to the top rope, wrapping his arms around DDT. Infieri follows through with a HUGE German Superplex, sending Infieri to the mat and DDT over his head flat on his back.
JR: Oh my! That may be a gamechanger right there.
Eco: Technical perfection from Infieri, as expected.
Infieri is stumbling--the landing obviously took a lot out of him. He makes his way over on top of DDT, only hooking one leg. 1-2-DDT gets his right shoulder up! Infieri, frustrated, goes for the cover again--1-2-No! Doctor Infieri pops up and starts putting the boots to the back of DDT, finally delivering one to his neck that puts him down. He scouts The Gordian Knot, reaches out, and cinches it in! But DDT's too close to the ropes! DDT hooks his legs around the ropes, but Infieri doesn't let go. 1...2...3...4...Infieri breaks the hold before the five-count is completed. Infieri backs up, aiming for a running knee--but DDT ducks out of the way in the nick of time and Infieri crotches himself on the rope!
Infieri comes off the ropes in obvious pain--and walks right into a clothesline from DDT! Infieri gets up and eats a dropkick from the big man! Out of instinct, Infieri pops up and is met with a couple straight jabs from DDT. DDT has Dr. Infieri reeling---grabs the arms, hooks them under, DYNAMITE DROP PEDIGREE! 1,2,3, this one's done.
WINNER in 10:27...DDT!
DVD quickly runs in the ring and raises DDT's hand as the fans cheer. They walk back up the ramp. Infieri rolls out of the ring and looks to Eco plantively. Eco mouths "Train harder," which the mics pick up, and the Doctor, annoyed, turns around and walks to the back.
CHRIS EVANS vs. THE DEADChris Evans comes out to a tremendous reaction from the crowd. He slaps hands as he comes down the ramp, going around the ring but stopping in front of Eco at the announce booth. Evans jaws at Eco for a second, but Eco just stares at him. Evans steps atop the announce table, his feet across from Eco's head, and stands above him as he poses for the crowd to wild cheers. He looks down at Eco, smirks, steps off the table and enters the ring.
The Dead enters the ring next to a strong but mixed reaction, staring down Evans as he slowly walks down and enters between the ropes. Dead looks over the ropes at Eco briefly, to which Eco makes the "Call Me" sign. Dead pauses for a second, and turns back around.
Razz: Hey, who the hell is that number--
Eco: No comment.
The bell rings, and it is Evans who goes right at Dead with a couple hard forearms to the face which send him staggering back. Chris Evans bounds off the ropes, but Dead dodges a third and catches Evans with a hard knee to the gut. He grabs Evans around the side, pulls him upward and drops him backwards over his head.
Razz: What the hell kind of move was that?
Eco: A gutwrench alley-oop. Don't display your ignorance.
Dead scoops Evans around the neck and grabs the tights, going for a snap suplex on Evans. He follows through and plants it, then spins the legs around and goes for a second. Evans hooks his leg around the back of Dead's, blocking the suplex. Evans then swings the leg out and then snap suplexes Dead backwards. Evans floats over into a cover, 1-count. Evans pulls Dead up into a full nelson, sitting down so as to ground Dead further. After being unable to reach the ropes, Dead tries to wrap his rapped arms around Evans's head, setting him up for a stunner. Evans reverses this however, breaking Dead's clutch and his own hold with a full nelson bomb.
Chris Evans then goes to the outside part of the apron. He waits for Dead to slowly stagger up, pulls himself up to the top rope, and makes a flying standing seanton attempt--however, he is caught by Dead, who brings him down into a POWERBOMB! Dead goes for the cover, that's got to be it, 1-2-No! Evans kicks out! Dead is surprised, but immediately moves to choking Evans out on the ropes. Dead runs to the other side of the ring and charges Evans, attempting a double stomp to his back, but Evans dodges and Dead goes through the ropes, landing hard on the floor outside! Dead slowly staggers up as the referee counts, rolling back in the ring as Evans collects himself. Evans catches Dead with a tornado DDT out of nowhere! Evans looks like he's going to go for a cover, but then is distracted by something up the ramp....
It's Moosehead Jack! Moose has a barbed wire baseball bat in hand! Chris Evans runs directly at him, but doesn't see the bat--blasted directly in the head! Evans is down! Dead attempts a running Close The Casket, but Moose dodges and grabs Dead's leg, forcing him down. He drills the bat into Dead's back as Dead yells out. Moose pulls Dead up, HEARTPUNCH! He sees Evans slowly getting up, HEARTPUNCH! Evans falls back, and Moose looks at his bat with evil intentions. He winds up, ready to take Evans's head off...
...when Ecosystem takes off his head set and runs into the ring! What the hell? Eco throws a kick to the back of Moose's head, sending him stumbling. Eco goes through the ropes and attempts a flying clothesline, but Moose catches him with the barbed wire bat! Eco crashes and burns, falling to the ground holding his cut gut--he's pulled up, THIRD HEART PUNCH! Moose stands victorious over the three bodies and slowly walks out of the ring as security pours in to stop the situation from escalating any further.
WINNER - No Contest at 7:15.
KZ vs. DRINK & DESTROYThe crowd erupts in a chorus of boos as lights paint a red V across the canvas and Moosehead Jack and L.D. Williams – kz – step onto the stage. The Five members make their way to the ring ignoring the crowd’s expressions of hatred. Moose slumps in the corner, while Williams stretches on the ropes. The boos die down and the crowd goes silent, holding its breath in anticipation. The lights go out, and the crowd explodes as Spin Hansen and Outback Jack, representing Drink and Destroy, enter the arena. D&D storm down the aisle and slide into the ring. kz meet them in center ring and a staredown ensues. OBJ's eyes roll back in his head and Jack of the Hinterlands makes his presence known. Moose smirks, and Williams and Spin exchange a curt nod. Referee Angelo Barros decides not to waste his breath giving them instructions and immediately calls for the bell.
As soon as it rings, Moose pokes OBJ in the eye and rams him face-first into the turnbuckle. He spins him around and nails a chop, and OBJ responds in kind. On the other side of the ring, Williams and Spin lock up and Williams darts behind and grabs a waistlock. Spin elbows him in the face, turns, and plants him with a belly to belly suplex. Spin gets in a few stomps, and then Williams hooks his ankle and yanks him off his feet. Williams rolls through and tries for the STF, but Spin kicks free. Both men get to their feet and Spin buries a knee in Williams’ midsection, sends him to the ropes, and levels him with a clothesline. He drags Williams to his feet and winds the arm. He drives his shoulder repeatedly into Williams’ shoulder, and then sends him to the corner. Spin wraps Williams’ arm around the top rope and slams his shoulder with headbutts. Williams stumbles out of the corner and Spin lunges at him, but Williams ducks and levers him over the ropes to the floor.
Williams steps on to the apron as Spin gets to his feet. Spin dares Williams to join him on the floor, but Williams hesitates, distracting him while Moose slips out of the ring and sneaks around behind him. Moose hits a high knee to the back, driving Spin’s face into the ringpost. OBJ drops to the floor and runs around the ring. Williams leaps at him with a clothesline, but OBJ snags him out of the air and KILLS him with a spinebuster on the floor. Moose kicks OBJ in the head as he gets up, and they brawl around the ring.

OBJ sees it and pulls away from Moose, running over and kicking Williams in the head to break the hold. OBJ rolls his partner into the ring and turns to level a charging Moose with a clothesline. He drags Moose to his feet, and Williams rolls to his knees behind OBJ and nails him with a low blow. Moose grabs OBJ as he doubles over and spikes him with a DDT. kz drag Spin to his feet and Williams sets him up so Moose can hit the Heart Punch. OBJ storms across the ring and levels Williams with the Boomerang, and continues on to stomp on Moose as he makes the cover. Moose rolls to his feet and OBJ sends him across the ring and plants him with a powerslam. He rolls out to the floor and drags Williams out as Spin covers and Barros counts One…Two…Thr-Moose rolls a shoulder just in time.
Both men get slowly to their feet, using the ropes on opposite sides of the ring. Moose runs across and goes for the Busaiku knee, but Spin drops out of the way. Moose’s knee bounces off the ropes and he slams into the mat. Spin drags Moose to his feet and runs him into the corner, and then slams his head into the corner as the crowd counts along. At ten, Spin lets Moose stumble out of the corner, and then lifts him up and drops back. Moose's head slams into the metal turnbuckle, drawing blood. Outside the ring, OBJ sets Williams up against the railing and nails him with a boot to the face. He picks him up and drops him throat-first on the railing, and tosses him into the apron. He follows, and Williams catches him with a kick to the stomach and slams his face into the apron. OBJ responds with a mule kick, and then levels Williams with a discus clothesline, before rolling into the ring to join his partner.
D&D drag Moose to his feet and take him over with a tandem suplex. They stand him up in the middle of the ring and each head for opposite ropes to hit the Call of the Wild, but Williams trips Spin up and drags him out of the ring. OBJ levels Moose with the Boomerang and keeps going, diving through the ropes at Williams. Williams sees him coming and moves, dragging Spin into his path. D&D collide and slam into the railing. Williams drags OBJ to his feet and slings him into the ringpost – that's three head wounds. Spin staggers to his feet and grabs a chair from a helpful fan. Williams turns around, and a brutal chairshot makes the bleeding unanimous. Spin heads toward the ring, chair in hand, but Moose leaps of the apron and drops him with a double axehandle. OBJ struggles to his knees, and Moose grabs him and drags him up the aisle. Spin gets slowly to his feet and slings Williams into the timekeeper's table. Williams reaches them, doubles OBJ over, and goes for the Canadian Destroyer. OBJ blocks mid-move, and Williams slams into the stage with OBJ on top of him. SANCTUM, NOTHING HAPPENED & TEXPRESS vs. SALVATION, POE & STANKPA: Someday you'll see...YOU'RE JUST LIKE ME!
As "Snow White Queen" hits the OOTron, a small army of people assemble themselves on the stage. Ravenna Blue, "Concrete" Takaken Gryfon, Davin Moreland, Alexis Darling, Chad Madison and Zane Myers all stand upon the entrance at the same time. They are clearly showing solidarity in contrast with the current state of their opponents. They walk down the aisle and slap hands as Chad and Zane hold their titles aloft, and all enter the ring, staring up ramp and waiting.
PA: My God, my Tourniquet...RETURN TO ME SALVATION!
Eco comes out, clutching his side from the earlier run-in with Moose. He is flanked closely by Tyler Vangarde, with Tytan and Wrath hanging back a bit. They walk slowly down the aisle to their corner to an oddly mixed reaction. "Mausam and Escape" then plays. Poe and Stank come out together. They walk toward the corner, ignoring the fans' jeers, and exchange harsh glares with Tytan and Wrath. Stank asks for their intentions, but they are silent.
The bell rings. Tytan insists on beginning against Davin Moreland. He walks over, shakes Davin's hand, and walks out of the ring. He walks toward the back as the referee counts him out.
Tytan is ELIMINATED by countout at 0:22.
Wrath then enters the ring, shakes Davin's hand, and promptly leaves. Stank is furious and Tyler is shouting obscenities, but Poe and Eco are stoic.
Wrath is ELIMINATED by countout at 0:54.
JR: Looks like the Salvation/Five team is starting two men down!
Razz: Welp, Tytan meant what he said and he said what he meant.
JR: Certainly Eco's encounter with Moosehead Jack earlier couldn't have helped things...
Stank begins berating Eco, but Ecosystem quietly enters the match against Davin. Eco and Davin lock up, Ecosystem switches over into a hammerlock on Moreland. Davin uses his free hand for a snap mare on Ecosystem, into a front chin lock. Eco scoops Davin's let leg out from under him to back bridge into a pinning predicament, but Davin rolls the shoulder at one, maintaining his chin lock hold. Eco curls his body up and kicks upward, catching Davin in the head and loosening the hold enough for Eco to escape. Eco pops out and regains his footing. Hard kick to Davin's side by Junichiro Muyo, followed by an opposite side kick to Davin's ribs on the other side. Eco grabs Davin's head, forward ace crusher! They crash to the ground outside, and the referee begins the ten-count.
Stank and Davin Moreland are ELIMINATED by countout at 10:52
The referee calls in Poe and Alexis as the legal man and woman as they're heading over to join the brawl, to try to get them back in the ring. No dice. Poe begins to put the boots to Moreland as Alexis nearly takes Stank's head off with an ensuiguri kick. Poe charges Alexis, but catches a flying spinning neckbreaker off the guardrail for his troubles. Neither Nothing Happened nor Poe/Stank seem to show any interest in returning to the ring, and the referee finishes his second 10-count!
Alexis Darling and Poe are ELIMINATED by countout at 11:32

Gryfon pulls him through for a fourth, goes for the pin, Tyler rolls the shoulders. The crowd begins counting them off: five...six...seven...eight--Tyler breaks the ninth attempt with a side takeover, but rolls away instead of attempting to capitalize. Tyler is ELIMINATED by disqualification at 19:17
Ecosystem is now all alone against Texpress and Ravenna! Tyler realizes this, makes a gesture of "Sorry, bro" to Eco, who slowly walks into the ring. Chad and Eco lock up, but Chad smartly spins around and pushes Eco into the corner. Zane blind-tags in such that as Eco pushes Chad off, Zane comes in with the boots to the gut. He picks Eco up, powerbomb right into the turnbuckles! Eco slumps off and Zane goes for the cover: 1...2...kickout! Chad then tags back in on Zane, and comes off the top with a legdrop onto Eco. He goes for the cover, 1....2...Eco gets the foot on the rope.
JR: I don't see how Eco can survive this double-team at this point.
Razz: Well, that's why these guys are the tag champs!
Chad tags Zane back in, and Zane pops up with a WARRIOR'S WAY on Eco! Eco flails in pain and rolls out of the ring. Zane tags Chad, who attempts a double axehandle from the apron, but lands on his feet as Eco stumbles back. Eco rolls slowly back into the ring, lying on his stomach. Eco jumps up with a Backstabber on Zane! He goes for the cover: 1...2..No! Zane gets the shoulder up. Eco scouts Zane for the ENDGAME, but as soon as he locks in the Dragon Sleeper aspect, Zane powers out and picks Eco up into a spinning sidewalk slam! The fans cheer as Ravenna's arm is raised aloft and she heads to the back, flanked by Texpress and Gryfon.
MATT FOLZ vs. STAN FULTON – Non-Title Steel Cage MatchThe cage is set up and we are ready to go. “The Crusher” Stan Fulton is announced and slowly makes his way to the ring first. He walks around the cage eyeing it carefully, then walks up the steps and into the ring. The OOWF Onslaught champion Matt Folz is announced next and he makes his way to the ring, ignoring the fans, but keeping his eyes fixed on Fulton in an icy stare that could melt steel. Folz hands his title to the referee and steps into the cage and immediately goes after Fulton. Folz launches himself at Fulton, catching the big man with shots to the face and head, backing him into the corner. Folz climbs to the middle ropes and hammers Fulton with shots to the face, then leans down and bites him on the bridge of the nose. Fulton howls in pain and shoves Folz off. Folz hits the mat and rolls through and gets right to his feet. Fulton charges out of the corner and tries a clothesline, but Folz takes him to the mat with a drop toe hold and tries to lock on the ankle lock, but Fulton uses his free leg to kick Folz off of him. Fulton charges in and catches Folz with a forearm to the back of the head that sandwiches him on the cage, then grabs the back of his head and grates it against the steel. Folz howls in pain as the steel tears open his flesh and blood begins to flow down his face as the crowd cheers the blood.
Fulton chokes Folz on the top rope, then slingshots him back into the middle of the ring. Fulton stalks Folz slowly, catching him with kicks to his heavily taped ribs. Fulton pulls Folz to a sitting position and drops an elbow down onto the top of his head, then rakes his forearm across Folz’s face, smearing blood all over the place. Fulton traps Folz in an arm bar and pulls the tape off of Folz’s damaged ribs. Fulton releases the arm bar and wraps the tape around Folz’s throat and tries to choke him into submission. Folz slowly fights to his feet and turns to face Fulton and grabs his head and repeatedly slams him in the face with headbutts. Fulton lets go and staggers and Folz nails him with a drop kick that sends the big man back into the ropes. Fulton’s weight traps him in the ropes and Folz charges in and HAMMERS him with punches, kicks and knees to the face until Fulton is split wide open.
Fulton finally frees himself from the ropes and Folz pulls him up and shoves him into the corner and rocks him with European uppercuts. Folz tries to whip Fulton across the ring, but Fulton reverses it and charges in after him trying for an avalanche. Folz side steps him and Fulton crashes into the corner. ALEXANDER DARLING vs. FIREWOMAN – Non-Title Onslaught Rules Match"Flame On" fires up and Firewoman appears, and is all business. She adjusts her bandanna, heads to the ring, minus Lucky, to a chorus of boos, and a few more cheers than usual. She gets in and awaits the opening strains of "I Stand Alone" which start, and OOWF World Champion Alexander Darling makes his entrance. Referee Davis Hightower takes the belt, shows it to Firewoman who nods. He displays it to the arena, and then hands it off. He starts to call for the match, but Firewoman insists that she be checked for weapons. Hightower hesitates, and then he does. Finding none, he turns to Alexander, who also gets frisked. Hightower is satisfied. Alexander adjusts his mask, and then heads to a corner, but as an afterthought, turns and extends his hand. Hightower calls to Firewoman, who spins around. She sees the hand extended, smiles, and takes his hand as Hightower calls for the bell.
Firewoman doesn't release the hand shake, and pulls Darling into a series of wristlock and armlock manipulations. Darling winces in pain, but only a little bit, as he catches her as she changes the hold and pulls her into a knee to the gut. Fire doubles over and Alexander drops an elbow to her upper back, as she drops to a knee. Alexander smiles and hits a knee to her face that knocks her over backward. He stands over her gloating for a bit as Fire feels her jaw. Darling stands a bit too long, as Fire shifts her legs quickly and rolls, taking Darling off balance (in Kenpo we call that "Falling Heel"), and she tries to reverse into Darling's own move, the Money Clip. But Darling knows where she's headed and kicks her so she falls head first under the ropes. Darling stands, and says loud enough for the mic's to pick it up "I know you inside and out, Fire...there's nothing you can do." Fire pulls herself up the outside of the ropes (quickly) and slingshots off for a cross body, but Alexander catches her mid air and reverses into a power slam. Fire lands on her back with the wind knocked out of her as Alexander stands mocking her again. He hits the ropes and then drops a knee onto her almost-healed, but not for long, ribs. Fire doubles over onto her side, as Alexander hits the ropes again, and this time elbow drops to the other side. He rolls Fire back to make the pin, but she kicks out at two. Alexander stands and drags her by the leg over to the ring post. He stomps on her left knee, clearly trying to take away Fire's ability for the high flying moves. He wraps her leg around the ring post and PULLS......Fire tries to grab at her knee but can't reach. Hightower starts to count, but before he hits one, Firewoman almost absent mindedly grabs the ropes.
Firewoman has used her first rope break. Darling immediately drops the leg and Fire trikes to get to her feet. Alexander allows her to walk around for a bit, limping and cursing herself for grabbing the ropes. Alexander doesn't waste too much time though, and charges. Fire has him scouted too, though, and she gets him up and over the ropes easily with a back body drop. Fire hobbles back to the far ropes and then runs (still with a limp), hits the ropes and goes up and over with a suicide plancha. Both wrestlers are sprawled on the floor, and Fire clutches her ribs, while Alexander tries to catch his breath. Hightower begins to count, and both wrestlers slowly make their way to the feet, and then crawl in, Fire about a half a second ahead of Alexander. She grabs Alexander by his mask, and helps him the rest of the way to his feet, then drives him back into a corner with chops (WOOOOOOOOOOO). In the corner she shoulder blocks him a few times, then whips him out of it. She uses his momentum against him and hits a bulldog. She leaps up (gently) and starts to get him into position for the Firestomp, but at just the right minute, Alex has his legs tangled into hers and bends an elbow. Fire loses balance and Alex gets her over for a small package. One...two...NO! Fire kicks out. Alexander mocks her, and she charges. Alexander sidesteps her neatly as she runs the ropes, dodging every move until she stops unexpectedly short after she passes him, and back elbows him to the back of the head. Fire hits the ropes again and this time hits the Codebreaker to Alexander's back, which is still feeling not 100%. She rolls him over for the pin, but no! Alexander gets a shoulder up.
The two separate, and it's Firewoman's turn to mock. Alex is on his knees and Fire backs off and hits a clumsy Shining Wizard, due to her limp and her ribs, but it's enough.
She tries to make the pin, but Alex rolls to his stomach, so instead she goes for a cross face. She can't get it locked in very well, and Alexander is able to crawl toward the ropes. In desperation, Fire digs her fingers into the leather of Darling's mask, which puts a lot of direct pressure on the scars underneath. Alexander reaches the ropes and pulls himself up, with Firewoman still digging into his mask. Hightower signals that
Darling has used his first rope break and Firewoman lets go. Alex's hands reach up to his face and then he flies at Firewoman, goozling her into the corner. Firewoman tries to fight him off, but she can't breathe, and Hightower forces the count. Alexander takes his time, and thus
Alexander Darling receives his first and only warning. Darling doesn't care, and turns to apply a liberal number of slaps, chops, and forearms to Firewoman, carefully stopping right about the time another count would have started. Fire looks like she's done. She lays against the corner, still trying to breathe. She comes out after a while and makes a run at Darling, who is in the far corner, but he sidesteps so her shoulder hits the ring post. A few well placed rib kicks, and Darling picks her up, hits a very very DELAYED back breaker, with emphasis on her ribs. He goes for the pin one..two...no! Firewoman kicks out, and defiantly pushes him off. Darling smirks, shakes his head, and pulls her up to a stand. He looks her in the eyes, and says, "This should do it...."
Alexander takes his fingers and jams them at Firewoman's forehead, where the scars are covered by the bandanna. Firewoman reels backward and then turns away. She takes a breath and turns, her eyes locked on Alexander. Before Darling can react, Fire lays a big closed fist roundhouse punch right to his jaw, that drops him. Hightower has no discretion on that one, and gives the signal.
Firewoman has used her first and only warning.. Firewoman stands over him yelling at him to get up, completely unaware of the warning. Darling counts the birdies circling his head, and then slowly gets to his feet. He looks at Firewoman and if we could see through the mask, he'd probably be smiling. He says he knew she couldn't do it. Firewoman hauls off with a Huge Bitch Slap that slaps the smile right off his face and somewhere into the third row. And is completely legal. She follows it with a backhand, also legal. That can't feel good on those scars under the mask. Now it's Fire's turn to smile, as she says 'now we do this my way' and whip Alexander into the ropes. She follows him with a clothesline that almost knocks him over the ropes, but she grabs his shoulder to keep him from going over, and hip tosses him over to the center of the ring. She hits the ropes herself and hits her Best Moonsault Ever. Cover and kickout, but Fire has apparently gotten her second wind. Darling stands slowly and Fire jumps off the second rope into a Crucifix Driver. Another cover and another two count. Fire glares at Hightower, but he demonstrates his ability to count to three. Fire glances at the clock that is counting down the time, and the distraction gives Darling the opening. He spins Fire around, quick kick to double her over, and he starts to set her up for the Darling Driver. He gets her up, but Fire wriggles free. She hits the back ropes and drop kicks Darling in the back. She immediately pounces on and locks in the Real Walls of Jericho, with her knee right in the middle of Darling's back. She pulls back hard, and Darling desperately tries for the ropes. He's close, but Fire sees it. She hammers a forearm across his face and pulls him back away from the ropes. They're out of his reach now, and every time he reaches, Fire grinds her knee in harder. Finally...Darling has no choice. he can't hold out until time runs out, and taps.
As the bell sounds, Fire releases the hold, and falls on her back, exhausted physically and emotionally. Darling rolls away to sit in the corner, holding his back with one hand, and with his head in his other hand. It's hard to tell what's going through his mind right now, as Fire gets to her feet so the referee can raise her arm. The crowd roars in warning as Moosehead Jack comes sprinting down the ramp. He makes a menacing glance at Darling, who doesn't even acknowledge him, and goes to his sister. He knocks Hightower out of the way, and raises her arm in triumph. They start to leave the ring but Fire takes the opportunity to stand in front of Darling. She yells, "Look at me....LOOK ... AT... ME....." Darling finally looks up, and Firewoman makes the international sign of "that belt is going to be mine." Smirks, and leaves the ring with her brother, a chorus of boos, and maybe a few more cheers than when she came down. Darling puts his head back down while they exit.
