672 Hours………..what could that mean?>
BRYCE LARSON vs. PSYKLE vs. MOOSEHEAD JACKThe newest of the three competitors, the monstrous Psykle, is out first to a decidedly mixed reaction. He ignores the crowd and climbs into the ring, running the ropes briefly before standing in his corner and glaring up the aisle. Bryce Larson is out next, accompanied by Maria Kanellis, which increases the cheers he receives appreciably. The Brass Knuckle Kings member climbs into the ring and pointedly ignores Psykle as Maria removes his robe. He shadowboxes, showing off his moves before handing his custom knucks to Maria and stretching in his corner. The lights dim, and the crowd explodes into boos as Moosehead Jack steps onto the stage. He pauses to drink in the hatred before striding to the ring. Moose rolls under the ropes and slumps in the corner. Referee Junior Hale calls the three men to the middle of the ring, but Moose refuses to move. Junior shrugs and gives instructions to Larson and Psykle, and then calls for the bell.
Bryce immediately pivots and throws a kick, but Psykle reacts faster and drives a forearm into his face before it connects. Bryce staggers back, and Psykle hits him with additional forearms and an Irish whip. Bryce ducks a clothesline and comes back with a low tackle that cuts Psykle off at the knees. Bryce goes to the ropes and leaps for a leg drop, but Moose comes out of nowhere and nails him in the face with the Busaiku knee! Moose hauls Bryce up and sends him into the corner. He sees Psykle on his feet and offers him first shot. The big man slams into Bryce with a shoulder block, but Moose is only a step behind him, driving an elbow into the back of Psykle’s head and pulling him back into an inverted DDT. He pitches Bryce through the ropes and covers Psykle, but the big man kicks out at two.
Moose rolls to his feet and kicks Psykle in the teeth as he starts to get up. Moose stomps away, and then drags Psykle up and sends him to the ropes. Fist to the midsection is followed by a neck breaker. Moose drives a knee into Psykle’s skull and covers, but Bryce springboards off the top into an elbow drop to break it up. Bryce drags Moose up and sends him to the ropes, hitting him with a standing dropkick. He turns and sees Psykle on his feet. With Junior’s view blocked by the big man, Bryce takes advantage with a kick to the unmentionables. Psykle doubles over, and Bryce knees him in the face. He backs off a step and goes for a super kick, but Psykle catches it. He lifts Bryce into the air by the leg and drives him into the mat - ugly, but effective. Psykle hits the ropes and splashes Bryce, and then hauls him up and sends him to the corner. Moose is getting up, so Psykle sends him to the corner as well and avalanches them both. Psykle hammers Moose with punches, and then plants him with a belly-to-belly suplex. He pops back up and grabs Bryce, and belly-to-belly suplexes him onto Moose! Psykle makes the double cover, but Moose rolls a shoulder in time.
Psykle gets up and drags Bryce to his feet, There is a commotion in the crowd near the entrance, and L.D. Williams steps onto the stage. Instead of heading to the ring, Williams leans against the entrance and crosses his arms. Psykle barely spares him a glance before getting back to business. He sends Bryce into the corner and then hauls Moose to his feet. He tries to stack them in the corner again, but Moose blocks the Irish whip, winding Psykle’s arm up and nailing a heart punch. He hangs onto the arm and sends Psykle into the corner, where Bryce explodes off the second turnbuckle with a flying clothesline. Bryce and Moose haul Psykle to his feet and send him to the ropes. Twin kicks to the stomach are followed by a tandem suplex. Bryce hits the ropes and springs at Moose, who ally-oops him and drops him onto Psykle. Bryce hooks the leg, but Moose drags him off at one.
Moose sends Bryce to the ropes and hooks him for the Ranhei, but Bryce elbows free. Bryce backs Moose to the ropes with European uppercuts and sends him across the ring. He follows right behind him and tries for a clothesline, but Moose drops to the mat as he hits the ropes and low bridges Bryce, who tumbles to the apron. They exchange punches over the ropes until Psykle grabs Moose from behind and tosses him over his head with a release German suplex. Psykle gets up and grabs Bryce, who nails him with a solid right hand. Psykle staggers back and drops to a knee as Bryce turns his back to the ring and shoves something back into his trunks. Shockingly, Junior saw nothing. Moose is up and hooks Psykle’s head, driving it into the mat with a DDT. He lunges at Bryce on the apron, who ducks and shoulders him over the ropes. Moose hooks Bryce as he falls, yanking him off the apron into a power bomb.
Moose gets to his feet and tries to slide into the ring, but Bryce hooks his ankle. Moose turns and stomps Bryce into the floor. He drags him to his feet and fires him toward the barrier, but Bryce reverses, sending him into the steel. Bryce pops Moose with a super kick, and then hooks him for a suplex. Moose blocks and reverses, crotching Bryce on the railing. Moose gets a running start and drives an elbow into the back of Bryce’s head, toppling him back to ringside. Inside the ring, Junior’s count has reached six. Psykle regains his feet and starts to the outside, but thinks better of it and back away from the ropes. Moose drags Bryce over to the announce table and slams his face into it. He repeats the maneuver, but Bryce blocks a third attempt and does the same thing to Moose. A pair of forearms are followed by a whip into the ringpost, but Moose moves out of the way of the follow-up super kick. Moose gets behind Bryce and hits him with an inverted DDT as the bell rings.
WINNER, by count out, in 14:04, Psykle!
After the match: Moose rolls to his feet and glares into the ring as Junior raises Psykle’s arm. The camera cuts briefly to the entrance where Williams ducks through the curtain, and then back to Psykle, celebrating his victory.
RAVENNA BLUE vs. ALEXIS DARLINGRavenna is announced first and makes her way to the ring, and the crowd cheers her loudly. Alexis is announced next and makes her way to the ring, and also get a nice ovation from the fans. The two meet in the middle of the ring and shake hands, then head to a neutral corner and wait for the bell. The referee calls for the bell and this match us underway!
They slowly move back to the middle of the ring and lock up, Lexie immediately grabs a side head lock, but Ravenna shoves her to the ropes. And takes her to the mat with an arm drag on the rebound. Lexie pops to her feet and as Ravenna charges in, Lexie catches her with a drop kick to the jaw. Ravenna staggers back into the corner and Lexie charges in and monkey flip her out, but Ravenna lands on her feet and bounces off the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Lexie ducks it, grabs Ravenna and runs her to the ropes and rolls her up from behind for a two count. Ravenna kicks out and spins to her fee, as does Lexie, Lexie catches her with a spinning heel kick that sends her to the mat.
Alexis pulls Ravenna up and sends her to the ropes and catches her on the rebound with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, dropping her across her knee, then shoving her to the mat and covering for a two count. Ravenna gets to her feet and Alexis stalk her and lands several stiff kicks to her hamstrings, sending her back to the mat. Alexis grabs Ravenna’s legs and ties her up in the MONEY CLIP! But before she can get the move cinched in, Ravenna works to the bottom rope and forces the break.
Alexis pulls Ravenna up and sends her to the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Ravenna ducks it, then puts on the brakes. When Alexis turns around, Ravenna POPS her with a spinning fist to the side of the head. Alexis staggers and Ravenna grabs her and sends her to the ropes and catches her on the rebound with a SPINEBUSTER! Alexis howls in pain as Ravenna covers, but Lexie manages to roll her shoulder just before the three count. Ravenna pulls Alexis up and lifts her for a suplex, leaves her up there to think about it for a bit, then falls back, slamming to the mat. Ravenna floats over, but Alexis rolls her shoulder at two.
Ravenna heads to the corner, calling for the DIAMOND DUST! She gets to the top rope, but Alexis was playing a little possum. She kips up, runs to the corner and scales the ropes and hits a TOP ROPE HURRACARANA! As they land, Alexis grabs a stunned Ravenna’s legs and folds her up and gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNER in 7:39 – Alexis Darling
After the match, Alexis helps Ravenna to her feet. You can see the disappointment on Ravenna’s face as they share a hug of mutual respect. Ravenna breaks it off and heads to the back.
<The camera follows Ravenna through the back. She walks down the hall without saying a word to anyone, stops by her locker room and grabs her bag. She heads out the back of the arena still in her gear, clearly upset. As she is walking, she hears a voice>
V: It doesn’t have to be like this<Ravenna looks around and finally sees Concrete TG, wearing a suit, standing there leaning against a long black limo>
RB: I thought you left
CTG: I haven’t made any decisions yet
RB: We needed you here
CTG: <shaking his head slowly> Don’t you see Rav? They DON’T need me here. They don’t need you either. I was here too long. It got to me, it broke me. I was a shell of my former self. I retreated into a comic book world, that was the only way I could survive. They were right, I wasn’t the same Crete that battled Moose toe to toe. I wasn’t the same Crete that held the world title . That Crete was broken, the Crete that remained said all the right things, but couldn’t back them up
RB: <shaking her head> No……there is good in this company
CTG: There is. But there is more bad. How do I put this…….You are familiar with astronomy, right?
RB: Somewhat
CTG: Then let me put it this way. The OOWF is a White Dwarf. It is the brightest, most hotly burning star in the sky. It is also eating itself alive, and one day, it will collapse, it will implode under its own evil.
RB: So…..what do you do until then? Just sit back and wait?
CTG: Yes…….exactly. Rav, you have a world of potential. I know you want to save the OOWF, so do I. But we can’t fight it from within. You just can’t. At some point, it will destroy itself, and then it will NEED someone to come in and reclaim it from its own ruins. At some point, from the top down, someone will have to step in. It will be a rebirth of sorts
RB: That sounds a lot like what Eco wants……
CTG: <shaking his head> No. What Eco wants is to force the OOWF to his own will. He wants to be the agent of chaos, the agent of change. What he doesn’t understand is that by forcing his will on the OOWF, he is only leading it closer to total ruination
<Ravenna looks down but doesn’t say anything>
CTG: <opening the door> Come on. Come with me. There are some people I would like you to meet. I think their ideas of what wrestling is, and should be, are close to what you believe.
<Ravenna looks back over her shoulder at the arena>
CTG: Don’t worry. When the time comes. They will need us, they won’t know it, but they will need us. And when that time comes……..we’ll be there.<Ravenna tosses her bag into the limo and climbs inside. Crete climbs in after her and the limo pulls out of the parking lot>
OOWF Invitational Round 2[/u]
MATT FOLZ vs. FIREWOMANFolz gets the better of Fire again in a thrilling near-30 minute match. Match TBAL
OUTBACK JACK vs. J-P SPARXX“Let It Rock” blasts through the arena, as this already hyped crowd gets to their feet for J-P Sparxx. The crowd sours on him quickly, buncha jerks. Sparxx is a cool dude. Oh well, at least he gets reaction, right? Anyway, here comes Sparxx, flanked by Jewel, and she stays outside the ring as Sparxx rolls in. He makes one quick gesture of acknowledgment to the crowd before focusing on the ramp, bouncing from foot to foot. Outback Jack is out next, and the long-time OOWF veteran gets a nice respectful applause. He does his pandering and beer drinking before climbing into the ring. Fall River's Own Angelo Barros decides that this will be as close to ready as anyone gets...and calls for the bell....WE'RE UNDERWAY!
Sparxx takes a couple of tentative steps toward OBJ, and they end up locking up. Predictably, Sparxx ends up shoved in the corner. OBJ doesn't stop or pose or anything, and he splashes Sparxx in the corner. Sparxx stumbles out, and OBJ hooks him up for a hellacious Belly to Belly Suplex, and it looked like Sparxx landed awkwardly. He's not moving. OBJ sees this and follows up immediately with some sharp punches to the face and kicks, also to the facial region. Barros looks concerned, and gets in between OBJ and Sparxx, leaning in to check on J-P. We could have a legitimate injury here. OBJ takes a few steps away from the scene, over near the ropes. Suddenly, Barros leans in more as if Sparxx is saying something, and out of NOWHERE, Jewel blasts OBJ in the yambag with a sharp uppercut. OBJ drops to his knees, and the remarkably recovered Sparxx kips up, and destroys OBJ with a sick Shining Wizard. OBJ's eyes rolled back in his head there. Cover from Sparxx...1....2...no. Sparxx rolls OBJ on his stomach, and tries to lock on the Low Gator. OBJ's proximity to the ropes prevents this from happening, so Sparxx hits the far ropes, and comes flying in to hit a Basement Dropkick. OBJ goes all the way out to the floor. He tries to get up, and finally does in a wobbly way. He looks up to see Sparxx flying at him with a Corkscrew Moonsault from the top turnbuckle. Huge crowd pop for that. Sparxx pounds his chest a couple times before realizing he can't win this from the outside. It's a struggle, but he's able to shove OBJ back into the ring.
OBJ appears to be completely out of it, and Sparxx doesn't waste any time. Back to the top, and calls out for the OMG, and takes off....and EATS KNEES! OBJ using a wily vet move and playing a bit of possum. However, all that ab training with the shovel must have paid off, because as OBJ rises to his feet, Sparxx is already standing there, waving his finger at him. A couple of lightning-fast kicks to the knee, followed by an equally fast Dragon Screw on OBJ, and That leaves him in position for another run at the Low Gator. THIS time, OBJ is in big trouble, as he's nowhere near the ropes, and his knee has to be absolutely killing him right now. OBJ looks like he wants to tap a couple of times, but manages to get to the ropes. Just. Barely. Barros seems almost reluctant to break the hold, but eventually does so, but Sparxx screams “I HAVE TIL 5” and finally lets go. Barros mildly admonishes him for not breaking faster, and OBJ rolls (well, kind of falls) out to the floor. Sparxx tells Barros to get out of his way, and looks to try a Slingshot Plancha on OBJ, but OBJ is ready and simply punches him in the stomach on the way down, and caught him flush.
OBJ shakes out the cobwebs and rolls Sparxx into the ring. He quickly follows him in, and hits a couple of knee drops to the head. OBJ then takes a couple steps back and starts winding up his right arm. The crowd goes nuts, because he's loading up for the BOOMERANG! Sparxx finally gets to his feet, and OBJ runs at him. He swings for the BOOMERANG, but Sparxx freakin' MATRIXED it, and suddenly jumps. MAGISTRAL CRADLE! 1....2....3! Just as OBJ's shoulder popped up! It's official!
WINNER in 14:36 by PINFALL...J-P Sparxx!
STANK vs. DANNY TAYLOR“If You’re Gonna Be Dumb, You Better Be Tough” plays and Danny Taylor makes his way to the ring – alone. The crowd cheers and he slams some fans hands as he makes his way to the ring. The big man steps over the top rope and shakes hands with the referee, then waits in the corner. “Skin” by Nonpoint plays and Stank comes out from the back, and the cheers turn to a loud chorus of boos. Stank makes his way to the ring, he is wearing a large knee brace on his knee and still limping slightly. Taylor glances at the brace as Stank climbs into the ring, Stank just sneers at him. The referee checks both men for weapons, then calls for the bell. This one is ready to go!
They move to the middle of the ring and the first thing Taylor does is land a kick right on Stank’s knee. Stank drops to one knee and when Taylor grabs him, Stank EXPLODES up with a European uppercut that snaps Taylor’s head back and sends him staggering against the ropes. Stank charges and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor, then follows him to the outside. Taylor slowly gets to his feet and Stank grabs him and whips him into the stairs, Taylor catches his knee on the steel and flips over to the floor, grabbing his knee in pain. Stank slowly walks around to Taylor and looks down at him “hurts, don’t it?” Taylor responds with another kick to Stank’s knee that sends the big man to the floor in pain.
Taylor gets to his feet and pulls Stank up and rolls him under the ropes into the ring. Taylor grabs Stank’s leg and drops several elbows across his knee, then gets to his feet and traps Stank in a spinning toe hold, releasing and reapplying it several times trying for the submission, but Stank refuses to give up. Finally after three times, Taylor leans in a little too far and Stank catches him with a straight right to the jaw that breaks the hold and sends Taylor to the mat.
Stank struggles to his feet and pulls Taylor up in the corner and HAMMERS him with punches and chops, then pulls him out of the corner, sends him to the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Taylor ducks it and catches Stank on the rebound with a cross body block! Both men go down but Stank manages to roll his shoulder just before the three count. Taylor pulls him to his feet and scoops him up and slams him on the mat, then bounds off the ropes and drops a big knee across his chest. Taylor covers again, but once again Stank kicks out. Taylor pulls him to a sitting position and kicks him on the back of the head. Taylor pulls him to his feet and tries a whip to the corner, but Stank reverses it. Taylor shows remarkable agility by scaling the corner, turning and leaping at Stan with a chop! But Stank catches him in a bear hug, pops his hips and hits a belly to belly suplex PLANTING Taylor on the mat!
Taylor is stunned and Stank takes that opportunity to trap Taylor in the SOUTHERN COMFORT! Stank manages to land a couple shots to Taylor’s throat – OMG continuity, Larson nailed Taylor in the throat with brass knuckles – Taylor struggles to get to the ropes, but breathing is getting more and more difficult. After fighting it as long as he can, Taylor has no choice, he taps out.
WINNER in 16:36 – Stank
ERIC O’MAC vs. NILES ANDERSONThe BK Kings make their way to the ring complete with entourage. They go through their whole entrances speil and draw quite a chorus of boos from the crowd. Niles Anderson is announced next ad makes his way to the ring, this time without the Establishment backing him up. Niles steps between the ropes and the referee checks him for weapons and he comes up clean. The referee turns to Eric and pats him down, and not surprisingly finds a pair of brass knuckles in his boot. The referee takes them and admonishes Eric, Eric just shrugs and swears that he doesn’t know how they could possibly have got there. When the referee turns to get rid of the knucks, from the outside, Larson slips him another pair that Eric slides on his fist. The referee calls for the bell, the two meet in the middle of the ring and Eric connects with a right cross that DROPS Niles to the mat in a heap! Anderson is out cold! The referee looks down at Niles, then notices that Eric is making NO attempt to hide the knuckles and immediately calls for the bell.
WINNER in :16 by Disqualification – Niles Anderson
After the match, Eric grabs a mic:
You know, generally speaking Moose and I are not on the same page about things. But what he did the other week? That opened my eyes. He walked away from the world heavyweight title to keep the tag team titles. That’s right, those tag straps mean more to people than the world title. It means a little extra to me as well, you see, once the BKK wins the world tag team titles, Eric O’Mac will then be one step closer to what he deserves…….the OOWF Grand Slam Championship. Moose, Stank and all the other teams in the OOWF are on warning…..the BKK will NOT be ignored.Eric tosses the mic down and walks to the back with his entourage while medics work on trying to revive Niles Anderson.
STAN FULTON vs. DARIUS PRENTISS“Knights of Cydonia” plays and Darius Prentiss makes his way to the ring accompanied by Charlotte Everstark. The fans mostly boo Prentiss, though the MMA fans in the audience cheer him loudly. He ignores all of it and slides into the ring and goes through an impressive array of stretches. “Crusher” plays and Stan Fulton makes his way to the ring, eyes completely focused on Prentiss. Stan gets a bit of a mixed reaction, but he doesn’t seem to pay any attention to in. The big man steps between the ropes just as Prentiss finishes his stretches. The two men meet in the middle of the ring, the referee goes over his instructions, then calls for the bell, this one is underway!
The two slowly circle and Prentiss darts in several times trying to get to Fulton’s knees. Fulton stays away and shoves Prentiss to the mat. Prentiss pops back to his feet and grabs Fulton’s arm and wrings it, bringing the big man to one knee. Prentiss traps Fulton in a top wrist lock and forces him down to the mat, then traps him in a step over wrist lock, putting Fulton’s shoulders on the mat for a two count. Stan rolls his shoulder and fights back to one knee, Prentiss reverses the move to a hammerlock. Fulton gets to his feet and backs into the corner, forcing the break. Prentiss breaks cleanly and Fulton takes a step toward the middle of the ring when Prentiss charges out of the corner and chop blocks him, taking Fulton to the mat.
Prentiss immediately grabs Fulton’s leg and tries to twist his knee into a submission move, but Fulton hammers him with kicks to the face, finally forcing a break and sending Prentiss between the ropes to the floor. Fulton gets to his feet and walks to the ropes and grabs Prentiss by the head as he climbs onto the apron. Fulton hooks him and lifts him for a suplex and takes a few steps back into the ring, but Prentiss shifts his weight and falls to the mat, and TRAPS FULTON IN A FUJIWARA ARM BAR! Prentiss yanks back on Fulton’s arm, threatening to snap it, Fulton howls in pain but will not quit. He manages to roll his arm slightly and get to one knee. Prentiss is still twisting his arm, threatening to pull it out of socket. Fulton gets a determined look in his eyes and shows his remarkable strength by PICKING PRENTISS UP OFF THE MAT! He DRIVES him to the mat, but Prentiss does not release the hold. Fulton picks him up and drives him down a second time, still no release, then finally a third time This time Prentiss’s head SLAMS off the mat and he releases the hold. Fulton gets to his feet, holding his arm close to his body and bounds off the ropes and KILLS Prentiss with a DRAGLINE (with the other arm of course) Fulton covers, hooking Prentiss hard and gets the one, two, THREE! Prentiss kicks out a fraction of a second too late.
WINNER in 12:34 – Stan Fulton
DH MAGNUSSON vs. THE PRESIDENTHail to the Chief plays, and the president comes out, shaking hands and kissing babies. He gets a somewhat mixed reaction, as this part of the world is not really sure what to make of him. DH comes out next, and a loud "Midnight Son" chant echoes in the arena. DH and The President stare each other down and nod as the bell rings. Both men lock up, and neither seems able to muscle the other down. They break and the President lifts his hand up in the universal symbol for the test of strength. DH looks skeptical, but obliges. To everyones surprise, the President locks the other hand in, and this contest is underway. The President gets a momentary advantage, but DH fights back and starts to push the Pres down. The President is having none of that and lands a kick to the gut.
This breaks up the mutual respect part of this match, as the Pres starts tossing haymakers. DH catches a couple on the chin before tossing some back of his own. DH gets an advantage and sends the President into the ropes. DH drops his head, and the Pres lands a double axehandle. It looks like the Pres is trying to hook the arms for the Bomb, but DH muscles him up and over in a back body drop. The Pres is back up, but DH catches him with a belly to belly before making a cover. The Pres kicks out at one and a half, and both men are quickly back up. Collar and elbow, and The Pres is able to float around to a rear waistlock. DH tosses back a couple of Elbows, but the Pres ignores them and launches backward with a German Suplex. The Pres lifts DH back up and tosses him into a corner. He goes to charge in, but DH gets a boot up cutting him off.
DH explodes out of the corner with a shoulderblock that takes the Pres down. DH drops an elbow and covers, but only gets one. Both men back up and it once again degenerates into a slugfest. The Pres lands a solid European uppercut that rocks DH, sending him back into a corner. The Pres places DH on the top rope and climbs up as well looking for the superplex. DH trys to fight him off, and suddenly both men lose their balance. The two men tumble from the ring and both land hard on the ringsteps, in a sick look bump. A hush falls over the crowd as neither man is moving, and the only sound to be heard is the ref starting the ten count. At 6 both men begin to stir, and a sigh of relief washes over the masses. The ref reaches nine as both men slide into the ring.
There is a glazed look in both mens eyes, as that fall has taken alot out of them. DH tries to take the initiative rushing in for a short arm clothesline, but the Pres is able to just barely dodge it. DH turns around and catches a boot to the gut. The Pres locks the arms, and drops the BOMB! DH is out, and the Pres makes the cover one...two...three.
WINNER in 10:13 The President
After the match trainers rush down to check on both men, DH waves them off as he heads to the back under his own power. Inside the ring a groggy President raises his arms in hard fought victory.
CHRIS EVANS vs. TYTANIt’s time for a second round match here in the annual OOWF Invitational. This years tournament is to crown the next OOWF World Heavyweight Champion and we have a match here between a former champ and one of the brighter stars in the company who is still looking for that catapult into the next level. GFY’s Chris Evans makes his way out first to a mostly negative reaction from the crowd here. There are pockets of cheers as they know his opponent is one of the most vile men in the company at the moment and here comes the big man, the former 2-time champion, the muscle of Trinity…Tytan. Tytan wastes no time and charges across the ring and catches Evans dropping his jacket to the apron.
We get the bell rung and we are underway as Tytan hammers away at Evans. Tytan using his power to club Evans down in the corner and then goozles him as he lifts him back to his feet and goes for a massive toss out of the corner, but Evans absorbs the toss and rolls through. Tytan charges and Evans catches him with a low dropkick. Evans uses his speed for a little bit to get Tytan off kilter as he fires away some leg kicks to try and take the big man off his feet but Tytan stays upright. Evans looks to try something else and goes for the CLOTHESLINE FROM HADES, but Tytan just absorbs that and grabs Evans by the throat once again and plants him in the center of the ring with a two-handed CHOKE BOMB. Tytan gets to his feet and shakes his leg to get some feeling and quickly drops successive elbows across Evans’ chest. He stays down after the 3rd elbow for a cover, but only gets two.
And that’s the next few minutes of the match as Tytan just pounds away at Evans with a wide variety of slams, suplexes, and strikes but Evans fires back when he can but nothing is really working to get Tytan off his game. In fact Tytan just damn near kills Evans with a BORDER TOSS. Tytan slowly makes his way over and makes what should be the academic cover…
1…
2…
No, Evans somehow rolls a shoulder. Tytan looks surprised for a moment but doesn’t waste time as he lifts Evans up for a suplex but instead of following through himself, he just lets Evans go and he crashes to the mat hard. He goes for another cover and again only gets two. Tytan continues to stay on the offensive as he lifts Evans high over his head and does a couple of press lifts…he hits the FINAL FALLOUT and makes another cover…
1…
2…
No, once again Evans barely rolls his shoulder and now Tytan looks frustrated that he can’t put Evans away. Tytan whips Evans hard into the corner and follows him in with a clubbing forearm shiver. Tytan lifts Evans onto the top turnbuckle and looks to be going for the CRASH & BURN but Evans has something left in the tank and tries to fight Tytan off. Tytan falls off the top rope and staggers back and looks to make a second charge into the corner but Evans stands up and nails Tytan with a well placed kick to the face that sends Tytan spinning. Evans leaps off the top and hits a picture perfect BLOCKBUSTER that sends Tytan reeling. Evans back to his feet quickly and sees Tytan in trouble and quickly follows up with the EYE OF THE STORM. That finally gets Tytan down to his knees and Evans doesn’t waste anytime as he hits the ropes and comes off with the OLYMPIC STRIKE. Evans now in control and makes the cover…
1…
2…
No, Tytan with a big kickout. Evans looks to continue the offense as he goes for the CUBSAULT, but Tytan gets his knees up and Evans crashes hard. Tytan back in control as he starts firing knees to Evans gut and they seem to be having a serious effect on him. Tytan looks to be setting up Evans for his big spear finisher as he really fires those knees away. Tytan whips Evans hard into the corner and follows him in with a nasty shoulderblock to the stomach. And then Tytan whips him to the opposite corner and goes for a second shoulder block but Evans slips out to the apron and quickly climbs to the top rope. Tytan looks up just in time for Evans to catch him in the CYCLONE OF CHAOS. Evans is all over this match now as he climbs to the top rope once again and he goes for the SPARTAN SPIRAL but Tytan gets up to his feet too quick and nails Evans with a SUPERKICK that damn near decapitates him. Tytan backs into the corner and he’s waiting for Evans to get to his feet so he can RELEASE THE KRAKEN. Evans slowly staggers up and Tytan charges at him, but Evans sidesteps and Tytan crashes into the turnbuckle. Before Tytan even realizes what’s going on, Evans comes up from behind and rolls him up…
1…
2…Evans puts his hands on the ropes and the ref is out of position to see it.
3!!!
That’s got to be a major upset here as Evans steals a victory.
WINNER in 15:30, Chris Evans.
DAVIN MORELAND vs. LD WILLIAMS“Jekyll and Hyde” fires up and LD Williams comes out to a monsterous applause from the Suriname crowd. The Grand Slam Champion does his usual token acknowledgment of the crowd before climbing into the ring and leaning against the far ropes. “Extreme Ways” comes over the PA, and the crowd gloriously boos Davin Moreland on his way to the ring. Davin soaks it up with glee, waving to the crowd and basically doing everything he can to piss them off. Double Jump of Impressive Athleticism into the ring, a couple poses to the crowd (drawing more boos, which Davin smiles through), and Fall River's Own Angelo Barros has seen enough. He looks at both men and calls for the bell...WE’RE UNDERWAY!
Davin and LD circle each other to start, and get into some hand-fighting…a real Greco-Roman/Collegiate kind of start. Finally Davin is able to grab a wrist, turn it into an arm-wringer, and then a hammerlock. LD slaps his shoulder twice (as required by law) and just explodes out of the hold by a hard spin and a quick, hard Greco-Roman takedown. LD immediately shifts into a Fujiwara Arm bar, and Davin is in trouble already. Barros actually moves from where he was standing to check on Davin, but NOBODY makes Davin tap! Davin, in an extraordinary show of strength gets to his knees, and then eventually to his feet, with LD still applying the hold! Davin grabs LD’s foot with his other arm and swings him up and then down with a HUGE Modified Powerbomb! LD releases the hold finally, and Davin quickly bails out of the ring in a tremendous amount of pain. He checks himself for a dislocation, but doesn’t find one. Satisfied all his body parts are going to stay attached, he rolls back in the ring. LD is STILL out but is stirring. Davin tries to shake his arm out, and gets to LD. Davin shoves him in the corner, and starts assaulting LD with chops (no WHOOS, because, well, the crowd's not happy with this turn of events) with his good arm. Davin quickly jumps and gets a leg lock on LD’s head, and snaps off a Sweet Hurricarana! Wasting no time, Davin goes to the top and faces the crowd. He hits a beautiful Corkscrew Moonsault and floats into the cover. That gets two.
Davin’s quick to his feet, and hits a Springboard Moonsault and floats THAT into a cover, which only gets two as well. Davin pulls up LD and WHIPS him into the corner, and charges in; nailing LD with a Spear! You could almost hear the air blow out of LD’s lungs on that one as he collapsed to the mat. Davin goes up top again and he’s gonna fly! Hesitation Shooting Star Press! Davin floats into that cover…1, 2, th…NO! At the last second LD kicks out, and Davin looks perplexed. He seems to shift gears, and quickly locks in a Sharpshooter, and it’s in a good spot! Davin starts with the “ask him” requests, and LD is hurting, but certainly isn’t going out like this. Davin is too big to drag across the ring, but through the POWER of the SHAKY ARM, and using some insane leg strength, he is able to kick Davin and send him flying…right into Angelo Barros! REF BUMP~! Both Davin and LD get to their feet slowly and notice that Barros is down. They both kind of shrug and lockup in the middle of the ring, which draws a nice ovation. Finally, Davin shoves LD off into the ropes, and chases after him, stops short and catches LD on the rebound, hitting him with a big Release Belly to Belly Suplex! He looks over to Barros, and slaps him around a bit trying to wake him up, but it’s no use. Davin saunters over to attack LD, but LD trips him and Davin lands throat-first on the rope, and he kind of hangs there. LD is up quickly, and showing some impressive agility, LEAPFROGS Davin, spins in mid-air and Stun Guns Davin on the rope as LD lands on his feet out on the floor.
Davin whips backward violently and hits the back of his head on the mat. Impressive selling there, son. Now it's LD trying to shake the cobwebs out. Luckily for him, there's no count, because Barros is still dead. LD gestures to the crowd, popping them, before heading back to the ring apron. Davin's on the proverbial Spaghetti Legs, and turns around just in time to eat a Flying Seated Senton from LD< which he seamlessly turns into a Thesz Press. LD goes old-school here, just blistering Davin with closed fists, opening a cut over his right eye. He pulls Davin up and WHIPS him to the far ropes, catching him with a GIGANTIC Back Body Drop which shakes the ring. LD is about to cover here, but Barros, clearly, still dead. LD waves to the back for a referee, but instead of waiting around, pulls Davin up again, slowly, before KILLING him with an Impaler DDT! He looks to the ramp and sees nobody coming, so he motions to the back again. Smart ring generalship here for LD, as he continues to put the pressure on the nearly dead Davin. He pulls Davin up and locks him in. CANADIAN DESTROYER! That's gonna do it...but still no ref. The usually placid LD screams “COME ON” to the ramp, and finally, Junior Hale makes his way down the ramp. Was he stuck at the Pizza Rolls? Anyway, he dramatically slides in the ring for what should be the academic cover...1...2...thre..NO! Davin rolled his shoulder and LD looks like he's going to lose his mind. Hale tries to calm LD down, and it seems to work, as he stomps away on Davin, who looks to be in terrible shape.
He pulls Davin to his feet before setting him up in the corner. A few vicious Chop-Whoos is followed up with a dropkick to the face. Davin's got a vacant, glazed look in his eye. I know it sounds like he's getting written out after that, but come on now. LD busts out a Hurricarana of his own, which lands. Davin ends up in a seated position, and is given a sharp kick to the back as his reward. He rolls over, and is on one knee, head down. LD wastes no time landing a Shining Wizard! That might do it! Cover...1...2...NO! LD, uncharacteristically, slaps the mat a few times in frustration. Suddenly, he seems to say “fuck this happy horseshit” to himself and drags Davin to the middle of the ring. He locks on the STF! That HAS to be it. NOBODY makes Davin tap, until tonight, it looks like. Davin's yelping in pain, but he appears to have joined us on this plane of existence, and starts to drag himself to the ropes. LD tries hard to stop him, but Davin's just too strong, and grabs for the rope. Hale calls for the break, and LD holds on for 4 before getting up. Davin starts to pull himself up the ropes, and LD decides to charge right at Davin. Davin grabs the top rope...LOW BRIDGE! LD goes flying to the outside, landing awkwardly. Suddenly, the bell rings. Hale talks to the timekeeper and the ring announcer tells us what's up.
YOUR DECISION in 30:00...Time Limit Draw!
Davin starts ranting about how it's a tournament match, blah blah blah – and Hale agrees. Suddenly GM the Rick shows up on the Jumbotron.
GMtR: Yeah yeah, whatever. There must be a winner. Ring the bell, asshat!Ok. And the bell rings. We continue on!
Davin finally gets to his feet and takes a deep breath as he surveys the situation. He sees LD getting to his feet, so Davin jumps on the Top Rope and SPRINGBOARD 450 SPLASH on LD to the outside. Both men are hurting, both men are down as Hale starts a count. Davin is up first, and pulls LD up, presumably to toss him into the ring. But LD summons some inner strength and pushes Davin like a tackling sled into the STEEL STEPS! Ow. LD rolls into the ring to break the count, and heads back out to the apron. He sees Davin still wobbly, and hits a Running Enziguri which catches Davin right in the temple. He is DONE. LD collects himself and then drags Davin over to the ring, and rolls his lifeless corpse inside. LD eschews the cover, and decides to put Davin away decisively. He pulls Davin up and locks him in. He's going for another Canadian Destroyer! He jumps to start the move, but this time he can't Davin over, and loses his grip, flying into Junior Hale. REF BUMP~!
LD gathers himself quickly, and heads back over to the still wobbly Davin, on a knee again. LD tries for another Shining Wizard, but this time Davin ducks, and counters with a LOW BLOW! Asshole. Davin drags the just-now-stirring corpse of Angelo Barros over to where LD has keeled over. SMALL PACKAGE! Davin's got the tights! He's got his feet on the ropes! Barros counts slowly but LD can't outdo the awesome physics of tight-pulling and foot-on-the-roping.
WINNER by DARLING FINISH in 41:19...Davin Moreland!
The crowd hates, and I mean HATES this! They're booing and whistling and doing whatever those foreign people do when they don't like something. Davin leans in and whispers something to LD, who sort of nods in response as he's recovering. Davin decides to take this opportunity to really heel it up. Over the top posing and gesturing, first in the ring, and then back up the ramp. Finally, LD gets to his feet and gets a monster ovation for a job well done.
ECOSYSTEM vs. ALEXANDER DARLINGEcosystem makes his way to the ring with Firewoman on one side and Tytan on the other. Both are livid over their losses earlier in the evening. Ecosystem gives them encouragement and they both seem to calm down some, but you can still see there is rage burning in Firewoman’s eyes. Alexander Darling is announced next and makes his way to the ring, without Alexis or any other back up. He gets into the ring and Eco confidently walks up to him and motions to Fire. Eco then unloads on Alex about how HE has done nothing to save his “wife” (and yes, he uses the hand quotes” and that Alex is all talk, and no action. Alex stands there for a moment, then closes his eyes and seems to take several deep breaths. When he opens them, Eco is standing there smirking at him. Alex grabs him by the throat and CHOKESLAMS him to HELL! Eco bounces off the mat and immediately rolls out of the ring and tries to head toward Fire and Tytan to regroup, but Alex slides out of the ring and cuts him off.
Eco turns to run, but Alex grabs him from behind and slams him face first into the ring post. Eco slumps to the mat and Alex puts the boots to him. Tytan races around the ring and Alex backs off, grabs Eco and sends him into the ring. Alex and Tytan share a few words, then Alex rolls in and covers, but Eco kicks out at two. Alex pulls him to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him on the jaw with a drop kick. Eco once again tries to slide out of the ring to his waiting acolytes, but Alex grabs him and pulls him into the ring and tries to put him in the MONEY CLIP! Eco fights it, but Darling turns him over. Eco immediately makes it to the bottom rope and forces the break, then pulls himself out of the ring. Alex is quickly to his feet, but does not see Eco reach into his tights for something. As Darling reaches between the ropes to pull Eco back into the ring, Eco throws a handful of powder into his face! Alex staggers across the ring, swinging wildly. Tytan has the referee distracted, so he didn’t see a thing. Fire is just standing at ringside motionless.
Tytan hops off the apron and Eco peppers Alex with shots to the face. Alex swings wildly but Eco is able to easily avoid the shots. Finally Eco kicks Alex in the gut and sets him up for the ENDGAME but Alex shoves him off. Alex reaches frantically and grabs someone, but its not Eco, it’s the REFEREE! Alex PLANTS him with the DARLING DRIVER! The referee is DEAD! Eco calls Tytan into the ring and they put the boots to Darling. Fire calmly walks over to where the referee is recovering. She notices a small pile of powder on mat and begins tracing things in it and rubbing it between her fingers. The referee comes to and sees what she is doing, then turns and looks over where Eco and Tytan are beating on Alex. He see’s Alex’s face covered with powder and immediately connects the dots. He calls for the bell waving off the match.
WINNER by disqualification in 11:43 – Alexander Darling
Tytan and Eco are livid and threaten to kill the referee, but he stands by his story. Fire remains stoic on the outside, her expression never changing. Eco glares at her, and she looks down at the floor. He is about to say something to her when Alex comes back into the ring, this time with a chair. He swings wildly, but both Tytan and Eco escape without taking a shot. Eco berates Fire on the way up the ramp, she keeps her head down, but the slightest trace of a smile can be seen on her lips.

Zane tries for a power slam, but Kai flips through it and lands on his feet, immediately bouncing into a standing moonsault. The move takes all Kai has left, and he rolls off of Zane, dazed. Both men are slow to get to their feet. Kai ducks a forearm and grabs Zane from behind. He hits a German suplex, but the bell rings mid -move. Kai rolls to his knees and glares at Barros, who looks bewildered himself. Both Chad and Aina climb into the ring and join their partners as Barros confers with the timekeeper. Barros turns back to the combatants and shrugs apologetically as the result is announced.
WINNER - 30 Minute Time Limit DRAW.
The crowd, understandably boos this result. The four remain in the ring, but the boos grow louder and louder. Finally, GM the Rick comes out and makes an announcement.
Ok, I know I said this match would be for a title shot. But, as Zane is so fond of saying, this would only lead to another multi-way clusterbomb. So, this is what I am doing. Starting next week, The Flyin’ Hawaiians and Texpress start a best of seven series. There MUST be a winner. Now, in addition to that, each match will have a stipulation chosen by the winning team. Now, since there is no winner going in, for the first match, there is no stipulation, it is just a straight match. It may not be the best, but it is what we have. See you boys next week. The crowd is not exactly thrilled with this, neither are the Hawaiians or Texpress. They head to the back as we fade to black.
