OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Buenos Aries, Argentina
MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. ALESSANDRO DEL RIOAlessandro Del Rio comes to the ring first, and the crowd roars their approval. He takes the mic and speaks:
My name is Alessandro Del Rio…….but you already knew that. Many of you have heard my cousin Alberto say it is his destiny to win the WWE World Title. Well……..I have my OWN destiny. And fulfilling that destiny begins TONIGHT! Tonight, I leave my mark on the OOWF by defeating Moosehead Jack. And when I beat him in the middle of the ring, the OOWF will know that Alessandro Del Rio has arrived, and his destiny…..winning the OOWF world heavyweight title……is only a matter of time.Del Rio drops the mic and the fans roar. The cheers quickly turn to boos as “Scare Crow“ plays and Moosehead Jack storms the ring. Del Rio ducks a clothesline from Moose and whips Moose to the ropes, but lowers his head a moment too soon and Moose catches him with a kick to the jaw standing him up. Moose hits a discus clothesline that nearly decapitates ADR. Del Rio gets to his feet and staggers to the ropes, Moose charges and launches himself at ADR and clotheslines him over the top rope. Both men hit the floor, Moose gets to his feet first and grabs Del Rio and chokes him on the guard rail snarling at the crowd. Moose lets ADR go and rolls back into the ring and breaks the count, then slides back out of the ring, pulls ADR to his feet and slams him face first into the ring post. Del Rio falls to the floor, and Moose pounces on him and hammers him with punches to the forehead. Del Rio is soon a bloody mess. Moose pulls him to his feet and rolls him back into the ring and follows.
Del Rio staggers to his knees and tries to wipe the blood from his eyes, Moose drags him to the ropes and chokes him on the middle rope, breaks just before the ref calls for a disqualification, then bounds off the ropes and drops a knee across the back of Del Rio’s head. Del Rio slumps to the mat and Moose drops a knee across Del Rio’s throat. Moose pulls Del Rio to his feet and kicks him in the gut, lifts him and DRIVES him to the mat with a pile driver. Moose covers, but pulls Del Rio up at two and the crowd boos loudly. Moose laughs at the fans boos, pulls Del Rio up again and kicks him low and plants him with a DDT.
Del Rio does not move and Moose rolls him over and covers again, but once again pulls Del Rio up at two. The referee yells at Moose to end the match, Moose threatens him as well and the fans throw some trash into the ring. Del Rio is slowly getting to his knees, Moose grabs him by the head and Del Rio fires a few punches into Moose’s midsection that have little effect. Moose gnaws on Del Rio’s forehead, then pulls him to his feet, rakes his eyes, sends him to the ropes and drops him with a REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER! Moose sits on the mat and laughs as the crowd boos loudly. Moose pulls Del Rio into a JI-ENDO and the referee quickly calls for the bell trying to save an unconscious Del Rio from further damage.
WINNER in 4:54 – Moosehead Jack
After the match, Moose grabs a bloody Del Rio by the hair and makes him look into the camera. We hear Moose yell “Come on Diva……..come on Diva Moreland! Come and find me. Come and play asshole!” Moose slams Del Rio’s head into the canvas then rolls out of the ring. He starts up the ramp, then pauses and listens to the fans boos. Moose smirks and grabs a chair, looks at the camera and says “it’s all for them, right Panderman?” Moose slides back into the ring, pulls Del Rio to his feet and SLAMS the chair down on the top of his head. Del Rio collapses to the mat, blood gushing from a new cut on his head. Moose laughs maniacally and tosses the chair aside and heads to the back
ALEXANDER DARLING & FIREWOMAN vs. ECOSYSTEM & DARIUS PRENTISSPA: Ladies and Gentlemen, good evening, you’ve seen that seeing is believing….
“Ladies and Gentlemen” by Saliva, the old DEA theme starts up, as Firewoman and Alexander Darling come out wearing their old DEA jerseys 3 and 1. They slap fans’ hands and make their way down to the ring, both sliding in under the ropes in a mini-Edge tribute.
Next out is Darius Prentiss, accompanied by Charlotte Everstark. They walk down to the ring to the strains of Muse to a muted reaction as Charlotte holds the ropes for an entering Darius. All three in the ring look to the ramp when…
PA: I know who you are, the leader of lost souls…
Ecosystem comes out…carrying a lawn chair and a bag of popcorn. He opens the lawn chair and sits down, opening up his bag of popcorn. His security guard hands him a microphone.
Eco: Y’all go ahead, I’m going to stay up here.
Darius throws a fit as Alexander and Firewoman are baffled, but the bell rings. Firewoman elects to lock up with Darius first, and for once can almost claim comparable size. She pushes Darius into the corner, avoiding his patented weight-shifting, but Darius gets his foot out to push off the turnbuckles, spinning and throwing Firewoman into the corner. He unloads with a couple quick knee thrusts, but she hooks him under the knee and drops him on his back, dropping a quick elbow. Firewoman bounds off the ropes and Alexander takes a blind tag. Firewoman catches Darius with a clothesline, and Alexander comes off the top with a flying Macho Man elbow—usually a Prentiss signature. He goes for the cover, 1, 2, kickout by Darius Prentiss!
Eco: (from the stage) That’s some good tag team wrestling! D-E-A! D-E-A!
Charlotte Everstark storms up the ramp toward Eco as Alexander throws Darius Prentiss with a German Suplex in ring, good for a bridging 1 count. Darius sneaks his arm behind to grab a headlock on Alexander, leveraged to slam Alexander on his back as Prentiss attempts to move to a deadly ARMBAR—but Firewoman tags in on Alexander’s flailing arm, kicking Prentiss off in the back of the head. Alexander whispers something to Firewoman, gesturing to how small Darius is. She considers and then nods—double goozle, double choke slam to Darius Prentiss!
Eco: Woo! The Married Couple of Destruction! Family Values!
Charlotte: WHAT are you doing? Get down there and help him!
Eco: Why aren’t you wrestling for us again?
Charlotte: Torn ACL.
Eco: Right.
Eco rears back and swings the popcorn bag into the leg of Charlotte, who goes down hard. He then pulls a lead pipe out of the bag, laughing as his guard drags Charlotte off. In ring, a rising Darius is horrified as Alexander and Firewoman look on, but Fire takes the opportunity to pull the arms behind—FIRESTOMP! The shock would have been enough…1-2-3!
WINNERS in 2:23…Firewoman and Alexander Darling.
Fire and Alex ignore the referee’s attempt to raise their arms as Alexander storms up the ramp toward the applauding Eco….as more security comes out to fill out the ramp.
Eco: What a shame. Didn’t even have enough time to finish my popcorn. Guess I’ll have to finish up by the monitors. Lisa, you’re welcome to join me if you’d like to discuss your requested release.
Eco leaves behind the wall of people as Alex jaws with Blackwater.
THE BRASS KNUCKLE KINGS vs. REGICIDE vs. THE FLYIN HAWAIIANS – Non Title Triple Threat Match“Frontline” by Pillar fires up and Regicide appear on the entrance ramp to a mixed, but mostly positive reaction. Tytan and LD have intense looks on their faces as they make their way to ringside. They confer in a corner and await the competition.
… Which doesn’t take long. “Vertigo” by U2 blasts through the arena as Kai, Aina & Noelani appear at the top of the ramp performing their traditional pre-match routine as the crowd reacts very strongly for them. They head to ringside and do their back flips off the turnbuckles as Noelani dances in the middle of the ring. The crowd pops for her loudly. She pulls them to another corner and then
“Brass Knuckle Kings” sounds across the speakers. Bryce Larson & Eric O’Mac stroll down the ramp, accompanied by the Posse & dragging the OOWF World Tag Team Title belts behind them. They stop to mock a couple of kids at ringside, stealing one’s hat and throwing it across the arena. The Posse enjoy a good laugh, Eric & Bryce high-five each other as OOWF Security scrambles to recover it for the crying fan. They hit the ring and begin jawing at The Hawaiians. LD is seen putting his arm out to hold Tytan back and whispers in his ear. The referee takes the belts, and calls for the bell.
Mayhem (pun intended) ensues. Tytan bull-rushes Larson, pinning him in a corner then pounds away with rights and lefts. Kai and Aina swarm Eric knocking him to the outside and to the safety of the Posse. LD had held back momentarily, goes after Aina. Tytan tosses Bryce over the top and turns his attention to Kai. The Hawaiians and Regicide square off and exchange blows
On the outside, The Posse has brought Bryce & Eric back to their feet. Eric and Bryce huddle up and watch the action going on in the ring. LD whips Kai into the ropes, and Bryce grabs his foot to trip him on the rebound. Kai hits the mat hard, Bryce dives in and Takes LD’s knees out from under him. Eric scrambles to the top and hits a MAC ATTACK on LD. Bryce covers, but Tytan has freed himself from Aina long enough to break up the fall. Bryce and Eric powder out, followed by Tytan and Kai. The Posse surrounds the tag champs, keeping them safe…. FOR NOW!
Inside, Aina and LD have locked up and Aina connects with a nice springboard elbow, leveling LD. Aina turns around into a HUGE SPEAR from Tytan, who pops up quickly, only to be met by a running enziguri by Kai. Kai sends Aina to the top and pulls Tytan up into a German suplex lift. The crowd buzzes, anticipating some never-before-seen bit of top rope awesomeness, Aina goes airborne, and Eric O’Mac slides in and dropkicks Aina out of mid-air! Aina rolls into a corner as Tytan shifts his weight and takes Kai to the mat. Bryce is right there and traps Tytan in a Cattle Mutilation! Kai pops up and kicks Bryce hard in the back, and Larson rolls to the safety of the Posse outside. Aina gets to his feet, and gets a drop toe hold by LD, who scrambles up and locks in an STF! Eric is behind him quickly, wrenching LD’s legs up and into a Sharpshooter! Tytan clotheslines Eric from behind sending him tumbling out of the ring. Eric and Bryce, both on the outside and surrounded by the Posse, begin to jaw with the teams in the ring. The Hawaiians, LD & Tytan exchange quick glances and begin to run the ropes simultaneously! Kai, Aina AND Tytan hit Stereo Planchas on the BKK & posse, scattering bodies everywhere.
LD, who grabbed the rope and didn’t jump, now slides down and pulls Kai to his feet and runs him into the ring post. Rolling him in the ring, LD grabs Eric and tosses him into Aina, sending them over the barricade. Tytan has Bryce in a rear-naked choke on the floor, and half the posse is trying to pull him off. LD slides back in, ducks a clothesline and quick as a cat hits a Northern Lights Suplex for 1…2…3!
WINNERS in 17:39, Regicide
STAN FULTON vs. MATT FOLZ – Non Title MatchThis non-title match between Crusher and Folz should be interesting. Matt Folz comes to the ring, and referee Sterling Glaw talks to him, Folz doesn't answer. At all. Silence. Huh. "Crusher" by the Ramones plays, and YOUR Intercontinental Champion Stan "The Crusher" Fulton comes to the ring. He enters and talks some smack to Folz, who says...nothing. Okay. Glaw calls for the bell, and WE'RE OFF!
Folz wants to go for the traditional opening lock up but the big man Fulton has no intention of doing any of that, and clobbers Folz with a huge lariat. Folz hits the mat hard, and the big man puts some big boots to him. Sloooowly. But with authority. Folz rolls to and fro to avoid them, but takes a few stomps before he's able to roll under the ropes. Glaw steps in front of Crusher as Folz pulls himself up on the outside. Folz jumps to the top and springboard dropkicks Crusher as Glaw gets out of the way. He hits Crusher in just the right spot in the chest, but it doesn't knock him over. It does knock him backward to the ropes, with enough force that he's still recovering while Folz slingshots himself off the rope again and Crusher is still off balance enough that Folz is able to clothesline him over the ropes to the floor. This draws a crowd pop, and Folz again backs to the far ropes, and takes a running dive for suicide plancha. Crusher is recovered though and catches him. Crusher adjusts his grip and takes a run...no really, he does...toward the ring post, driving Folz's back into the steel bar. Meanwhile Glaw is in the ring starting the 10 count. Crusher back up and lines up for the other ring post and runs...really...slamming Folz's back into the post. You'd think Folz would cry out in pain or something, and while his faces does show it, he's silent. Crusher backs up again, as Glaw hits six in the count, and KILLS Folz with the World's Strongest Slam. Folz is out as Crusher stands over him, and Glaw hits 8. Crusher starts to climb into the ring. He gets one knee up and then for some reason can't get the other leg off the floor. He turns to look, and it's because Folz is not quite dead yet. In fact, he's grabbing Crusher's leg, keeping him from getting into the ring. Folz gets slowly to his feet, well, his knee really, and Crusher makes a run for him. Folz shoots out a quick drop toe hold, sending Crusher head first into the steel steps, just as Glaw gets to 10, and calls for the bell.
WINNERS in 12:33 - NO CONTEST DOUBLE COUNT OUT.
STANK vs. J-P SPARXX – Non-Title MatchLet it Rock hits and JP Sparxx and Jewel come out and do there pose on the stage to a mixed reaction from the crowd that is heavier on the cheers. The two make their way to the rings, and Sparxx hive fives a couple of fans rocking JP shirts. Skin hits and another mix reaction is received from the crowd, this one heavier on the boos. The world heavyweight champion Stank stands on the stage and soaks it in before laughing and making his way to the ring. He enters and Sparxx comes up and jaws at him for a bit. Stank just smirks and holds the title belt up in the air, before handing it over to the ref. Sparxx backs over to the corner and does some last minute strategizing with Jewel. The bell rings, and Stank looks to take advantage by charging at the distracted Sparxx.
However, it was a setup, and Sparxx rolls away causing Stank to eat the turnbuckle. Sparxx follows up with a low dropkick that takes Stank down to one knee. Sparxx starts lying in with the left and rights, but this only seems to piss Stank off. He blocks Sparxx's next shot and head butts him in the gut. This takes the wind out of Sparxx, and lets Stank get back to a vertical base. Stank follows up by snatching Sparxx up and slamming him down with a belly to belly. Stank covers, but JP kicks out at one. Stank pulls him up and sends him off the ropes.
Stank drops his head for the back body drop attempt, but Sparxx delivers a swift kick that puts the champ back upright. Sparxx follows it up with a massive dropkick that sends Stank crashing to the mat. Sparxx grabs Stank's leg and starts laying in stomps to his bad knee. A solid strategy, however Stank’s is prepared for it, and he is able to pull free. Stank heads back towards his feet as Sparxx charges in. Stank is ready for him and this time lands the back body drop. Stank follows it up by dropping another elbow, and covers. This time he gets a two, before Sparxx is able to kick out.
Stank is a little frustrated at this, and lets the ref know. Stank turns around and catches a low dropkick that drops him to one knee. Sparxx follows up with several rapid fire elbows to the head. The first couple only seem to irritate Stank, but by the fifth he is visibly pissed. Stank catches Sparxx's arm and pulls him over with a deep arm drag. Stank attempts to follow that up with a knee drop to the prone head of Sparxx. JP dodges by inches and quickly rolls to his feet. Sparxx heads off the ropes, and Stank goes for the clothesline. Sparxx ducks it, but as he rebounds off the opposite side, Stank crushes him with a big boot. The big man lifts him up and crushes him with a jackhammer suplex. Stank covers
One...
Two...
Th..No JP gets a shoulder up to a huge pop from the crowd. JP is showing an amazing amount of resilience. Jewel hops up on the apron shouting words of encouragement. Stank heads over to get her off, when she suddenly jumps away. Stank realizes it is a setup a moment too late. JP comes flying over the top rope, dropping Stank’s head across it. Stank rebounds off and staggers back. JP springboards off the ropes and catches Stank with a massive tornado DDT. Stank is down, and Sparxx bounces off the ropes and lands the shooting Sparxx press. He covers
One..
Tw...No Stank launches Sparxx off of him with authority. Stank is up, but still groggy. He sees Sparxx pulling himself up on the ropes and charges over with a big boot attempt. Sparxx drops pulling the ropes with him causing Stank to crotch himself. Sparxx gets a burst of energy, and runs up the turnbuckle, and leaps at Stank. He lands a massive cross body that sends both men tumbling out of the ring and through the Polish announce table. The ref begins the ten count. At six Sparxx is able to climb back into the ring. Stank is up at eight, when Sparxx comes flying out of the ring with a suicide dive that both takes him back down and breaks the count. Sparxx heads up to the apron, and as Stank gets back up, JP flies off and plants him on the concrete floor with a massive impact DDT. The ref has restarted the count, and Sparxx slides back into the ring at Six. Stank is up at eight, and climbs back onto the apron. He is obviously woozy and starts to climb between the ropes. JP is not playing around, and grabs Stank by the head and pulls him down with a rope assisted DDT. That is one too many times of being dropped on the head, and when Sparxx covers, he gets the three.
WINNER in 21:15 - JP Sparxx
Sparxx looks momentarily shocked, but that changes when Jewel hops into his arms to celebrate. This being non title, the ref hands a dazed and confused Stank the title. Stank rolls out of the ring, content to just get some ice. Sparxx sees him leave and yells that they should do it again sometime. Stank pauses on the ramp, visibly pissed now and holds the title in the air reminding JP who the champ is. Sparxx just smiles and holds his arms in the air as Jewel makes the universal symbol for "I will win the title" around JP's waist for him.
RUN DLP vs. DRINK & DESTROY – OOWF Campeonas de Trios Title Match“Alcohaulin Ass” plays and Drink & Destroy comes through the crowd in opposite directions. The fans roar their approval and it takes Danny, Jack, DH and DVD forever to finally make it to the ring. They hop the railing and roll into the ring and climb the turnbuckles and salute the crowd, which only whips them into more of a frenzy.
“Walk This Way” plays and the OOWF Campeonas de Trios champions Run DLP come out to the top of the ramp and hold their Trios titles high in the air and the crowd nearly blows the roof off the place. They head to the ring slapping hands with the fans. Well Chad and Zane seem to be enjoying themselves, Davin seems a little distracted, but still manages to slap a few hands on his way to the ring. The champions climb into the ring and we have a good old fashioned face off. The crowd gets quiet anticipating a possible brawl, but the six men just nod and share handshakes. Chad and Magnusson remain in the ring while the others head to the apron, the referee calls for the bell and we are ready to go.
Chad and DH lock up, DH pushes Chad into the corner and tries a forearm to the chest, but Madison slips out of the corner and moves to the middle of the ring, when DH turns around, Chad POPS him with a super kick out of nowhere. DH staggers back into the corner and Chad charges in and monkey flips him out of the corner to the middle of the ring. Chad covers but DH kicks out at two. Chad gets to his feet and pulls DH to his feet, wrings his arm and tags in Davin.
Davin comes in and drops an elbow across DH’s shoulder, then catches him with an elbow to the side of the head, sends him to the ropes and elevates him with a big back drop. DH gets to his feet and Davin grabs him in a bear hug and PLANTS him on the mat with a belly to belly suplex! Davin doesn’t go for a cover, instead he reaches out and tags in Zane. Chad comes in as well, and when DH gets to his feet again, they hit a TRIPLE DROPKICK! DH falls between the ropes to the floor. Zane waits for DH to struggle to his feet, gets a head of steam, and leaps over the top rope Undertaker Style (only way better) and sends DH to the floor. The crowd roars for this and Zane gets to his feet and rolls DH back into the ring and covers, but Magnusson shows his resilience and kicks out at two.
Zane pulls DH to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a power slam, then tags in Chad. Chad hops to the top rope and tries a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH, but DH gets his knees up and Chad crashes and burns. As Chad rolls around the mat in agony, DH gets to his feet and dives to his corner and tags in Danny Taylor. The crowd roars as Taylor comes in to the ring and waits for Chad to stand up, then turns him inside out with a clothesline. Taylor pulls Chad to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches Chad on the rebound in a Fireman’s carry, then drives him to the mat with an F5! Danny covers, but Chad kicks out at two. Taylor keeps Chad on the mat and grabs an arm bar and stretches him out, then tags in Outback Jack.
Jack comes in and lands a kick to Chad’s ribs, then pulls him up, sends him to the ropes and elevates him, and brings him crashing down on his knee ribs first. Chad grabs his ribs in pain and Jack pounces on him and covers, but Chad kicks out at two again. Jack pulls Chad to his feet and peppers him with forearms to the side of the head, Chad fires a few back and looks like he might get some momentum going, when Jack grabs his head and SLAMS him in the face with a head butt, then reaches out and tags in Magnusson. DH comes in and grabs a woozy Madison and hits DREAM STREET! Magnusson floats over and covers, but Davin comes in and breaks up the pin attempt with a boot to the back of DH’s head.
DH gets to his feet and gives Davin a shove to the back, I believe he thinks that Davin’s interference was quite unnecessary. Davin staggers a bit and cracks skulls with Zane, sending him to the floor. Zane lands a little awkwardly and tweaks his knee somewhat. Davin gets back into his corner and wants the tag. DH pulls Chad to his feet, Chad tries a kick to the midsection, but DH catches his foot, Chad then BLASTS him with an enzuguri! Chad turns toward his corner to make the tag, but the crowd starts booing. Davin looks to the top of the ramp and Moosehead Jack is on the top of the ramp with Happy Dethbat III. Davin turns and looks at Moose and dares him to come to the ring. While Davin is looking at Moose, Chad is close enough to make the tag, but Davin doesn’t see it! DH grabs Chad by the ankle and pulls him back to the middle of the ring and drops an elbow across the back of his head just as Davin turns back around and realizes what just happened.
Magnusson pulls Chad to his feet, kicks him in the gut and hits a stump puller pile driver, then tags in Jack. Jack comes in, hooks a dazed Chad and hits the CHOMP! Jack rolls Chad over and covers, Davin tries to come in to help, but Taylor cuts him off, Zane can’t get back into the ring fast enough and Jack gets the one, two, THREE!
WINNERS in 19:41 and NEW OOWF Campeonas de Trios Champions – Drink & Destroy
Davin looks at his brothers in dismay, they look a little annoyed, Davin tries to apologize, then looks to the top of the ramp where Moosehead Jack is laughing maniacally. Moose heads to the back and Davin leaves the ring and sprints up the ramp to the back. A camera man keeps up with him. Davin gets to the back and yells for Moose, Moose turns around and Davin SPEARS him and they both crash through the CATERING TABLE! Moose and Davin are throwing punches like they wanted to murder the other one. Security and other wrestlers finally manage to pull them apart, but the damage is done. This is far, far from over.
CHRIS EVANS vs. EL LOBO SANGRIENTO – OOWF Onslaught Championship Match Wolfmother’s “Joker and the Thief” plays and El Lobo Sangriento makes his way to the ring to a very positive reaction. He acknowledges the crowd, and then runs the ropes to warm up. The crowd’s cheers rapidly turn to boos, however, as The OOWF Onslaught Champion steps out onto the stage. Chris Evans is accompanied by the Supreme entourage, which surrounds him like a boxer as he makes his way down the aisle. Evans climbs into the ring and poses with his title. Referee Junior Hale reaches for the belt, but Evans yanks it away. He walks to the center of the ring and holds the belt in Lobo’s face, telling him he has no chance of winning it. Lobo’s only reaction through the mask is a smile. Evans scoffs and finally hands the belt to Junior, who holds it up and then calls for the bell.
Circle and a lock up. Lobo tosses Evans bodily into the corner. Evans dodges a charge and attacks Lobo’s legs with kicks. He tries for a backstabber, but Lobo grabs the top rope to block. Evans drops back to the mat and Lobo drives an elbow into his chest. Evans staggers back a step, and Lobo turns and plants him with an STO. He hops to the second rope and drops an elbow on Evans’ chest. A cover gets only two. Lobo rolls Evans to his feet and sends him to the ropes. Evans grabs the top rope to stop his momentum. Lobo lunges at him and Evans drops, pulling the rope down. Lobo goes over, but catches himself on the apron. Evans swings, but Lobo catches the punch and shoves him back. Lobo springs off the top rope, and Evans knocks him out of the air with a super kick. Evans stomps away, and then rolls Lobo to his feet and bundles him into the corner. He hits a couple of chops and quickly switches to punches before choking the big man until Junior pulls him off.
Chris Evans has received his first warning.Evans sends Lobo across the ring and then follows him in with a clothesline and ducks through the ropes. He climbs to the top as Lobo stumbles out of the corner. Evans leaps off for a flying bulldog, but Lobo steps out of the way. Evans lands on his feet, and Lobo grabs him from behind, pivots, and nails him with a German suplex. He bridges, and gets two before Evans grabs the bottom rope.
Chris Evans has used his first rope break.Lobo pulls Evans to his feet, but Evans, noticing that Junior’s view is blocked, nails him with a low blow. Lobo stumbles back, and Evans stands him up with a European uppercut and comes off the ropes with a flying clothesline. Evans rolls to his feet and springs off the middle rope. Lionsault - misses as Lobo rolls out of the way. Evans bounces to his knees and Lobo drags him to his feet. He snaps him over with a suplex and hangs on as he rolls them both to their feet. He hits a second one and attempts to pull him up for a third, but Evans reverses it into a rollup, hooking the tights and getting a long two count.
Both men are up and Evans backs into the corner, luring Lobo in. He suddenly steps forward and hooks him, and drops back, driving Lobo’s head into the middle turnbuckle. He rolls out from under him and uses the ropes for balance as he leaps up and drives both feet into Lobo’s back. Junior warns him to get it out of the corner, but Evans ignores him and continues to stomp away until he gets another warning.
Chris Evans has received his second warning. Evans glares at the ref, and then pulls Lobo out of the corner and sends him to the ropes. He goes for the eye of the storm, but Lobo puts on the brakes and catches it. He yanks the champion off balance and flips him over, grabbing his other leg and planting him with a wheelbarrow suplex. He pulls Evans up and sends him into the corner, following him in with a running knee to the gut. He pulls Evans out and sets up the La Bala de Plata, but Evans drops to his knees to block and hits another low blow (which Junior naturally misses completely). He tries for a DDT, but Lobo reverses into a northern lights suplex, bridging and getting another two count.
Lobo hauls Evans to his feet and rocks him with chops. He winds the arm and wraps it around Evans’ neck, hitting an arm trap neck breaker. He covers, but Evans rolls a shoulder just in time. Lobo scoops Evans up and slams him to the mat, and then comes off the ropes with a leg drop. He covers, and again Evans rolls a shoulder just in time. Lobo sits Evans up and hits a hard kick to the back, and then hauls him up and sends him to the ropes. Lobo locks on a sleeper, but Evans reverses into a jaw-jacker. Lobo bounces back and Evans springs up and leaps to the middle rope. He springs off, looking for an enzuguiri, but Lobo catches him and turns it into a leg trap suplex. He covers, but Evans gets a foot on the bottom rope to break the count.
Chris Evans has used his second rope break. Lobo drags Evans up and sends him into the corner. Evans tries to explode out, but Lobo goes low and spears him, driving him back into the corner.
