OOWF Doomy Doomy Doom Doom 10
Live! From Moscow, Russia
BANNED FROM EVERYWHERE vs. COMRADE SHARKOFF & RICKY SOARING EAGLEIn 2012 an OOWF tag team was sent to face a WereEagle and Shark Dracula b General Motors Selena for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly sat down and thought of a solution to their problem, which failed miserably. Today, still in that match against Shark Dracula and WereEagle, they survive on their wits alone. Which means they are in trouble. If you have a problem – if not one else can help – and if you can find them sober = maybe you can hire: The A-BFD Team.<the familiar A-Team music plays and Banned From Everywhere comes out, Drunkey is chomping on a cigar, he must be Hannibal. Drunkette has on a perfectly manicured wig and mirrored shades, Face. Justin has on eighty pounds of chains around his neck, BA. Bill is wearing a leather bomber jacket and a baseball cap, Murdoch. And Ellie May From Elijay is wearing a black burlap bag with a red stripe, carrying a sign that says “VAN”.>
Banned From Everywhere, well Justin and Bill anyway, climb into the ring and the crowd goes crazy. As Banned From Everywhere celebrates in the ring, Ricky Soaring Eagle and Comrade Sharkoff sneak in behind them and attack. Ricky Soaring Eagle tosses Bill over the top rope to the floor, and then he and Sharkoff focus on Justin. They hammer Justin with punches and kicks, but Justin Justin’s up and fights back. He rocks Soaring Eagle with punches to the head, then turns and tries to throw a drop kick at Sharkoff, but forgets that he is wearing eighty pounds of metal around his neck. Justin crashes and burns and Sharkoff pulls him to the middle of the ring and hits the SHARKOFF STOMP! The last one is a particularly nasty shot to the face. Sharkoff tags in Ricky Soaring Eagle and he pulls Justin up and presses him above his head (which is even more impressive given the excess weight) then throws him out of the ring to the floor where Bill catches him and sets him on his feet.
Bill is angry now, he drains a bottle of PCPL and slips back into the ring and goes after Soaring Eagle, looks like the ref is just going to allow this, and why not? Sharkoff catches a big boot to the face that sends him to the corner. Soaring Eagle gets clotheslined over the top rope and falls to the floor face first. As he gets up he looks right in Drunkey’s face, and Drunkey blows a cloud of cigar smoke right into his eyes. I didn’t know donkey’s could do that! Justin is back in the ring as well, but Sharkoff hits him from behind sending him to the mat. Sharkoff pulls all of Justin’s chains from around his neck and wraps them around his fist. As Bill gets into the ring, Sharkoff lines up the knockout punch, but Soaring Eagle, blinded by the cigar smoke, wanders into the ring and takes the punch right between the eyes! Soaring Eagle falls to the mat, out cold. Justin grabs Sharkoff and throws him out of the ring where “van” runs over him keeping him down. Bill climbs to the top rope and hits the FREEBIRD! Covers, and gets the three count!
WINNERS in 10:21 – Banned From Everywhere
After the match, Banned From Everywhere celebrate in the ring. Justin climbs to the top rope and holds up a HAPPY HALLOWEEN sign and the crowd goes wild!
MATT FOLZ v. DAVIN MORELAND The sounds of "Pull Me Under" by Dream Theater try to blare out through the 1940s Finnish speakers. Davin Moreland comes through the curtain with a big smile on his face. This is his first official pay-per-view match since the New Guard put him out of action. The crowd chants, “Davin! Davin!” and there’s even a few “Mickie! Mickie!” chants. Davin milks it in as only Davin can. He climbs into the ring and chats up Referee Davis Hightower.
As Dream Theater fades, “Baker Street” by the Foo Fighters takes it place and Matt Folz steps out onto the entrance stage. A loud chorus of boos rains down, but Folz ignores it as he’s wont to do. His entire demeanor is focused on the ring and on Moreland. He steps through the ropes and goes face-to-face with Davin; Hightower is pushing both men away from each other as best he can. The ringside mics pick up Folz saying, “You’re finished, old man.” Davin responds with “You wish.” and Hightower rings the bell.Folz runs in for a quick punch, but Davin avoids and drags Folz into an armbar on the canvas. Davin pulls back on the arm and Hightower is already asking if Matt wants to quit.
Folz sneers and manages to get to his feet, but Davin still has the armbar cinched in. Folz catches Davin with an offhand punch to the face and that breaks the hold. Davin is shaking the punch off and Folz is shaking the feeling back into his arm. Davin rushes Folz trying to get the advantage, but falls victim to a beautiful drop toe hold. Folz floats over into a headlock then tries to put Davin into a good STF, not like John Cena’s.
Davin manages to keep the STF from being cinched in, though. Now it’s Davin’s turn to make it back to his feet. He shoves Folz to the far ropes and drops his head for a back body drop. Rookie mistake from the cagey veteran; must be the ring rust. Folz comes off the ropes, drops to his knees in front of Moreland and gives him a Greco-Roman punch in the mush.
Davin goes right over. He’s just not himself it looks like. Folz grabs an ankle and tries again to put this one away. Davin might be rusty, but he’s still Davin Moreland. Davin takes his six foot plus frame and gets himself turned over and shoves Folz off of him. Folz is naturally annoyed. He’s a submission wrestler and Davin will NEVER quit. Folz’s frustration is evident.
Davin is up in the corner and Folz rushes him. Bad move. Davin sidesteps and Folz hits the corner turnbuckle hard. Davin runs across the ring and comes off the ropes, hitting Folz with a massive clothesline as Folz bounces out of the corner. Now it’s Davin’s turn to inflict some punishment.
Davin lays into Folz with chops which are ten times more cooler than punches. Davin is actually yelling at Folz, “These chops are cooler than your sissy punches!” with each backhand. Folz takes a swing and Davin ducks. Davin yells, “Sissy!”
Folz runs the ropes and tries to spear Moreland, but Davin moves aside and Folz goes flying through the ropes to the floor. Folz is stunned but starts getting back to his feet. Davin sees this, runs the ropes and goes flying over the top rope: SUICIDE DIVE! Both men crash to the floor and the guard rail, Folz taking the worst of it.
Hightower starts a ten count while the crowd is clamoring for Davin to get up and Folz to stay down. Davin is up and he helps Folz up. How sportsman like. Oh, wait a minute. Davin throws Matt into the steel steps. Seriously? Why are they always steel? Wouldn’t wooden steps be cheaper?
Anyway, Matt goes shoulder-first into the steps while Davin soaks up the crowd’s adoration. Davin rolls into the ring to break the count and rolls back out. Hightower gives him the what’s for.
Davin picks Folz up and rolls him back in the ring. Davin rolls Folz up for the cover and hooks the tights. One... Two... Folz kicks out. Davin gets to his feet and gives Hightower a word or two regarding the upcoming Presidential election and the fluctuations of the national polls.
Folz, however, being the chairman of Aaron Rodgers for President, doesn’t give a rat’s tookus about the polls. He gets up behind Moreland, hooks his arms around his hips and pulls off a nice belly-to-back suplex. He keeps his hands locked, pulls Moreland back up and hits another. He’s going for the Angle-Suplex-Trifecta and hits it. Folz is up and screaming at the crowd’s booing. Folz goes back over to Davin and locks in a sharpshooter! Hightower right down asking Davin if he’s quitting, while Folz is yelling, “Who’s a sissy now?”
Davin might be rusty, but he’s a cagey veteran as was said and he’s a big dude. He pulls himself and Folz close enough to grab the ropes. Hightower calls for the break, but Folz isn’t having any of it. One... Two... Three... Four... Fi... Folz realeases the hold but he’s right in Hightower’s face about it. He walks back over to Davin, but still looking and jawing with Hightower. This allowed Davin to grab the front of Folz’s tights and pulls him through the ropes to the floor.
Folz hits the floor hard and Davin rolls out after him, shaking off the effect of the sharpshooter. Davin notices they’re right in front of the Elbonian Announce Table. He pulls off the monitors and cleans off enough of the mud. Davin grabs Folz off the floor and body slams him on the table. It holds! Must be the mud.
Davin looks at the crowd which is going crazy. Davin picks up Folz in a fireman’s carry and Folz isn’t moving. He may have hit his head on the floor and might be out. Davin climbs up on the OOWF announce table causing Razz and Russ to scramble away. He sets up Folz. No, he’s not going to suplex him is he?! He is. Davin gets Folz into position, lifts him over his head and pushes off with his feet. Both men go flying over the gap between tables and crash through the Elbonian Announce Table which flies apart in a mix of MDF and mud.
Both men are barely moving; Folz maybe not at all. The one man moving no one is noticing is Davis Hightower. He’s in the middle of a ten count. EIGHT... NINE... TEN! That’s it!
WINNER – Double Count Out in 25:32
Davin is the first back to his feet and he’s just now hearing the result. He ponders this for a moment and realizes that he just took someone who hasn’t taken a day off to the limit even after taking a lot of time off himself. But, Folz can look back and say he stayed with a future Hall of Famer step for step.
Davin wipes some mud off his chest and flicks it at the prone body of Matt Folz, raises his arms and heads to the back. Folz is slowly coming around and Hightower is helping him backstage.THE DARLINGS vs. STANK & LD WILLIAMSThe Darlings go through their entrance and make their way to the ring. Alex perches on the top rope with his hoodie over his face while Alexis stands in front of him. Stank and LD Williams are out next, with a very basic intro with Stank’s music. They step into the ring and walks to the center. Alexis meets them in the middle, Alex remains in the corner for a moment, then stands and flips his hood back and jumps off the ropes to the middle with the rest. Stank just glares at him. The referee calls for the handshake, LD and Alexis shake hands, then LD and Alex. The Darlings both offer to Stank and he just stares at them and gives a half hearted shake. The bell rings and it looks like Lexie and Stank are going to start things off.
They circle and lock up, Lexie tries to go for several kicks to the side of the knee, but Stank blocks them, grabs Lexie by the back of the head and CLUBS her to the mat with a clothesline. Stank tries an elbow drop, but Lexie rolls out of the way and Stank gets noting but mat. Lexie gets to her feet first and as Stank gets up, she catches him with a drop kick to the knee that sends him right back to the mat. Lexie grabs Stank’s let and lands several kicks to his hamstrings and knee, but when she tries to pull him to the Darling corner, Stank shortens his leg and kicks her off sending her stumbling back to the corner where Alex tags himself in.
Alex slowly steps into the ring while Stank gets to his feet. The two stare daggers at one another and lock up. Alex grabs an arm wringer, but Stank unleashes a chop across his chest that drops Alex to one knee. Stank grabs him and throws him into the corner and slams him across the throat with a forearm and tags in LD Williams.
Williams comes in and unleashes some CANADIAN VIOLENCE on Darling, beating him to the mat with kicks, punches, chops and headbutts. Alex gets beat down to the mat, but gets right back to his feet and fights back, calling for more. LD is happy to beat him down again, but Alex fights back to his feet. LD has had enough and whips Darling across the ring to the opposite corner and charges after him, but Darling stops himself and slips between the ropes to the apron. LD puts on the breaks before he hits the corner. Alex tries a high kick from the apron into the ring, but LD ducks that, turns and tries to clothesline Alex, but Alex ducks that, then steps between the ropes and grabs him from behind and DROPS him with a NECKBREAKER!
Alex covers, but LD kicks out before the referee even counts one. Alex pulls LD to his feet and lifts him and drops him across his knee with a pendulum backbreaker, keeps him there and tags in Alexis. Alexis climbs to the top rope and hits a nice flipping leg drop across LD’s chest. She covers him, but LD kicks out at two. Alexis pulls LD up and sends him to the ropes and tries a clothesline, but LD ducks it. Alexis races to the ropes and when they come back, she tries a Thesz press, but LD catches her and SNAPS her into a POWERSLAM! LD doesn’t even try to cover, instead he gets up, grabs Alexis leg and flips her over and traps her in a STF! Alexis reaches out for the bottom rope, and LD grapevines her arm like a Rings of Saturn! Alexis is in a world of trouble now. When it looks like she may have no choice but to tap, Alex charges in and shoves LD off of her breaking the hold. The referee turns and orders Alex back to his corner, which lets LD pull Alexis to her feet and shove her into his corner.
LD tags in Stank and the big man comes in and peppers Alexis with clubbing rights and lefts upside the head. Alexis gets her arms up and deflects some of them, but enough hit their mark that it sends Alexis staggering out of the corner around the ring. Stank follows her peppering her with shots, making sure to keep himself between Alexis and Alex. When Stank has his back to Alex, Stank turns and DROPS Alex with an elbow to the jaw sending him off the apron to the floor. Stank turns back to Alexis and charges, but Alexis takes him to the mat with a drop toe hold, holds his leg and reaches out and tags Alex who is back on the apron quickly.
Alex charges in and drops an elbow across the back of Stank’s head, then traps him in a CROSSFACE trying for the submission. LD comes in and breaks the hold by kicking Alex in the face. Alex and LD go nose to nose and things get a little chippy. Alex turns back to Stank and catches the big man with a superkick to the jaw that sends him to the corner, Alex then tags in Alexis and they put Stank on the top rope and hit a DOUBLE SUPERPLEX! Alexis covers, but Stank kicks out at two. Alexis grabs Stank’s leg and catches him in a FIGURE FOUR but Stank quickly turns it over forcing Alexis to break the hold. Alexis gets to her feet and heads to the top rope and tries a cross body block but Stank catches her, then charges into the corner and DRIVES her into the turnbuckles and ties her in the tree of woe! Stank repeatedly kicks Alexis in the face, then grabs her head and hits a REVERSE SUPERPLEX! Stank reaches out and tags Williams.
LD comes back into the match and he pulls Alexis up and slips behind her and hits a trio of GERMAN SUPLEXES dropping Alexis on her surgically repaired neck. After the third one LD bridges but only gets a two count. Alexis is slow to get to her feet, LD charges in and tries a knee to the face, but Alexis falls to the mat and gets up behind him. When LD stands up Alexis catches him with an ENZUGURI then hooks LD and hits a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX for a two count. Alexis pulls LD up and tags in Alex, Darling comes in and hits a LUNGBLOWER on LD, as he pops back up, Alexis catches him with a SUPERKICK to the jaw that sends him to the mat. Alex pounces but only gets a two count.
Alex pulls LD up and lifts him for a suplex, then dumps him over the ropes to the floor. LD lands on his feet and turns around, and Alex dives between the ropes, sending LD into the guardrail back first. Alex gets onto the apron and waits for LD to get to his feet, as he does Alex runs down the apron and tries a kick to LD’s head, but LD moves and sweeps Alex’s leg, dropping him onto the apron. LD grabs Alex and DRIVES the back of his head to the floor with a NECKBREAKER! LD pulls Alex up and rolls him into the ring and tags in Stank.
Stank comes in and drops an elbow across Alex’s chest, then grabs the back of his head and just HAMMERS him with straight punches to the face. Alex covers up, but several find their mark. The referee threatens disqualification so Stank breaks and pulls Alex to his feet and sets him up for a STANKBOMB! He lifts Alex into the air, but Alexis rushes in and drop kicks the back of Stank’s knee sending both he and Alex to the mat. LD comes in and we get a nice brawl for a few minutes. Both teams trade punches and hit finishers, but no falls are counted. The referee finally restores order with Stank and LD now the legal men.
LD catches Alex with a vicious clothesline and sets up for the CANADIAN DESTROYER but Alex drops to his knees and grabs LD’s ankle in an ANKLE LOCK! LD slips free and gets to his feet, Alex stands as well and tries a clothesline, but LD ducks it and LD lifts him for a BACKDROP DRIVER! As Alex is in the air, Alex reaches out and tags in Alexis. LD DRIVES Alex to the mat hard and bridges, but the referee doesn’t count, Alexis climbs to the top rope and hits a BIG MONEY FROGSPLASH on LD! She hooks the leg and gets the one, two, THREE! Stank comes in to break it up, be he is just a second too late.
WINNERS in 29:11 – The Darlings
Stank is NOT pleased about the loss and kicks the bottom rope and looks livid. He helps LD to his feet and they start to leave the ring, but the Darlings call them to the middle of the ring where they both stand with arms outstretched. LD walks over first, his hands on his hips and stares at them for a moment before shaking their hands. They both look at Stank and Stank looks like he would rather murder them than shake their hands. The crowd urges him on though, and after considerable hesitation Stank gives them both a very half-hearted handshake.
TEXPRESS vs. POWER & GLORY – OOWF Invitational Tag Team Tournament FinalsPower and Glory are out first. The crowd is not happy to see them, but they really don’t seem to care. Edra and Clio climb into the ring and pose, and then huddle in the corner for some last-minute advice. The crowd rises and draws its collective breath before exploding as the OOWF Tag Team Champions step onto the stage. Chad Madison and Zane Myers make their way to the ring slapping hands and greeting the crowd. They climb into the ring and hold their championships high. Zane backs Glory to the ropes and sends her across the ring, levelling her with a clothesline. She follows that up with a knee to the back of his head, and then hits the ropes and nails him with a diving clothesline. She covers, but Zane powers out at two. Glory lands rolling, and reaches the corner to tag in Power.
Zane rolls to his feet and ducks just in time to avoid a clothesline. Power hits the ropes behind him and Zane turns to face her, but Glory clips his knee from behind. Zane falls, and Power lands a running elbow to the knee. She locks him in a spinning toehold. Zane gets his free leg up and kicks her off, but Power uses the momentum to rebound off the ropes and drive an elbow into the knee. She ties up Zane’s legs and rolls him over into a Texas cloverleaf. Zane crawls toward the ropes. Glory starts into the ring, causing Chad to do the same. Naturally, Barros sees Chad and cuts him off, allowing Glory to get in some stomps to Zane’s back and head before rolling out of the ring. Power cinches the hold in tight, but Zane manages to drag her across the ring and grab the ropes for the break. Power releases and Barros back her off. Williams shrugs, and Stank sighs visibly before they exit the ring and head to the back.
THE KAI vs. RABBIT MASK – OOWF Onslaught Championship MatchAnother Me by Jeff Hardy plays and Rabbit Mask is greeted by a loud chorus of boos. "Gal A Bubble" by Konshens plays and out comes the OOWF Onslaught Champion, The Kai.
This will no doubt be a battle between conflicting styles. Kai’s quickness and agility going up against Rabbit Mask’s Japanese Strong-style method of wrestling, and his willingness to repeatedly drop someone on their head.
The two lock-up, and for the most part are pretty evenly matched. Rabbit gets the advantage after hitting some head-and-neck related offense including a Backdrop Driver which gets only a two count. Rabbit gets too arrogant though, mocking Kai with the Hang Ten sign, and signals for the Head Drop #1, which Kai counters with a BOARD BREAKER.
After a few minutes of being in control of the match, Kai goes for the Haole Hammer, but Rabbit hits him with a knee to the head while held in the suplex position and counters with a DDT.
Rabbit hits a Superkick directly to the face of Kai. Rabbit now appears to have Kai right where he wants him, but rather than going for the cover, and despite it being illegal, Rabbit instead motions for the White Mist. Rabbit goes for the White Mist, but Ai’sha jumps onto the apron and is trying to tell the referee about it. Rabbit Mask looks as if he’s about to spit the White Mist at her, which makes Ai’sha jump off the apron in fear.
While Rabbit Mask looks at her with disdain, it gives Kai the times that he needs to recover. Rabbit turns around and Kai catches him with the REEF BOTTOM! Kai goes to the top rope, hits the MOONSAULT FROM MAU’I, goes for the cover and retains the title.
WINNER in 25:46, and still OOWF Onslaught Champion, The Kai
DANNY TAYLOR vs. MAI MUYO vs. DK MURPHY - OOWF Intercontinental Title Match ”The Gauntlet” by the Dropkick Murphys leads out newcomer DK Murphy. The crowd is mostly enthusiastic towards the rookie in his first pay-per-view title match. Murphy might be even more enthusiastic, though. He runs the crowd, slapping hands and bouncing to the ring. He climbs through the ropes and chats up Referee Mel Creech.
Skillet’s “Hero” plays and out comes Mai Muyo. She’s even more bubbly but that’s just her way. She glad-hands the crowd as well and when she climbs in the ring, she goes over and gives Murphy a big hug. Murphy’s taken aback and untangles himself from Muyo and shakes her hand. Mai thinks nothing of it and gives him a big ol’ handshake and a good luck wish.
Now the crowd goes crazy as “Here Comes the Boom” by POD blares from the sound system. Dynamite Danny Taylor comes out and holds his Intercontinental Championship high. Dashing Victor Deniro is out as well, standing to the side of Taylor and clapping along with the crowd.
Taylor makes his way to the ring and shakes hands with Murphy, Muyo and Creech. Mel is visibly relieved as it looks like the shenanigans are going to be kept to a minimum. The introductions are done, Creech has given all the instructions and there’s the bell.By some unseen command, both Murphy and Muyo drop kick Taylor’s knees and he goes down in a heap, but rolls to the apron. Murphy and Muyo then get up and lock up. Murphy with a side headlock. Muyo reverses. Murphy with the reverse chicken-wing. Mai reverses and Murphy gets to the ropes. Creech in quickly, but Mai has already released the hold and stepped back. Murphy with a quick nod of respect and then they quickly shake hands and are at it again.
Some exquisite chain wrestling takes place in the next minute or two with both Murphy and Muyo busting out some old school wrestling. The crowd, being OOWF fans and not WWE marks, appreciate the technical abilities of the two combatants.
However, both Murphy and Muyo have forgotten in their enthusiasm that this is a three-way match. Taylor comes back in and drops them both with a double clothesline. Taylor picks Mai up and as much as possibly gently removes her from the ring.
As he turns around, Taylor walks right into a shivering right forearm from the Irishman. Taylor may have a few inches on Murphy, but there’s no strength advantage. Taylor was rocked from that forearm, but he’s no slouch and comes right back with a forearm of his own.
Murphy with a shot to Taylor’s gut doubles the champ over. Murphy pushes Taylor back into the turnbuckle and whips him across the ring to the opposite corner. Murphy runs the ring and spears Taylor in the corner. Murphy then stands Taylor up with a European uppercut. Lord Steven Regal would be proud of that one. Murphy follows it up with another. The crowd approves and Murphy turns to them to soak it in. Bad idea.
Taylor explodes out of the corner with chops and punches, pushing the rookie back. As they trade punches in the middle of the ring, Mai Muyo has climbed a turnbuckle and leaps into the two men, knocking them both to the mat. Mai wastes no time and climbs the opposite turnbuckle and delivers a missle dropkick to the rising DK Murphy.
That rolls the rookie to the apron and Mai is jumping up and down with excitement. Bad idea. Danny Taylor stands up right behind her like Bessie coming out of Loch Ness. Mai senses something behind her and stops the celebrating and slowly turns around and looks uuuuuuuuuuupppp to find Danny Taylor standing over her with a smile on his face. That makes Mai smile. Danny’s not smiling for fun though.
Taylor picks Muyo up and T-Bone suplexes her. Mai is out of it, but somehow she rolls to the outside. Murphy crawls back into the ring and gets a kick in the gut by Taylor. With Murphy folded over, Taylor hooks in the double underhook... DYNAMITE DROP! That’s it. Taylor makes the cover. One... Two... Three!
WINNER in 16:12 and still OOWF Intercontinental Champion, Dynamite Danny Taylor!
Deniro climbs into the ring and hands Taylor his belt. Murphy and Muyo are both up and in the ring. Taylor lowers his arms and hands Deniro his championship. Murphy and Muyo both offer their hands and Taylor smiles, shakes hands with both and raises their arms as well. The crowd loves it, even how Mai is on her tiptoes because Danny has her arm up so high. The three competitors again shake each other’s hands and leave the ring together. The champ retains, but both challengers prove they deserve another shot.CHRIS EVANS vs. GHOSTHEAD – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchSevendust's "My Ruin" plays, and Ghosthead appears, accompanied by Shannon. He walks through the white mist into the ring, and then hops atop the turnbuckle. "The Trooper" plays and Chris Evans comes to the ring, all full of heel attitude, to which the crowd reacts appropriately. He gives the belt over to Hightower who goes to show it to Ghosthead. Ghosthead barely nods, keeping his eyes on Evans. Hightower figures that's all he's going to get, so hands it off and calls for the bell.
Ghosthead LEAPS off the turnbuckle and clotheslines Evans. Evans goes down in a heap, but he's up just as quickly, as GH turns for a second clothesline. Evans ducks it, and grabs GH around the waist for a quick suplex. He scrambles to cover, but Ghosthead smacks him away easily. Ghosthead gets to his feet as Evans is trying to launch an aerial move of some kind, and he just pulls him off the ropes, without hesitation. Evans hits the mat, knocking his head on the rope as he falls. Ghosthead capitalizes on this, picking him up almost effortlessly, and dropping him into a facebuster. Ouch. Ghosthead goes for the pin, but Evans kicks out. Ghosthead drops back to regroup, as Evans gets to his feet.
The two circle each other for a bit, trying to get the upper hand. They decide to go for it at the same time, and start exchanging some hard punches, mostly legal, but a few probably sneak in. Evans gets an advantage when he ducks a wild haymaker and runs to the ropes. He bounces out with a clothesline that Ghosthead ducks. Ghosthead hits the ropes as Evans springs back and this time Ghosthead gets a fairly good drop kick and Evans is down. Ghosthead heads to the corner and goes up to walk the ropes for the Eidolon. He flies, but it's too late, as Evans rolls out of the way and Ghosthead hits the mat. Evans steps back as Ghosthead gets to his feet and takes a few steps back. Evans sees his opportunity and grabs it. He bounces off the near ropes in an effort to clothesline Ghosthead over far ones, but Ghosthead sees him barely in the nick of time, grabbing him under the outstretched arm at the same time as he pulls the rope down with the other, flipping Evans over onto the floor. But not quite! Evans has a hold of those dreadlocks, and Ghosthead has no choice but to go over with him.
Both men lay on the floor trying to decide why they chose this as their profession. Eventually they stir, get to their feet, shake the cobwebs away, and the fight is on again. Ghosthead whips Evans into one ring post...then another...and then a third. Evans grasps his sternum and face and falls to the ground, while Ghosthead looks around spying the steel steps. He grabs them and raises them over his head and walks toward Evans. As he brings the steps down, Evans gets his leg up, and kicks them back into Ghosthead's face. Ghosthead staggers back, and Evans works his way to his feet. Evans rolls into the ring to break up the count, and heads...slowly....to the top rope. And he leaps, and crashes into Ghosthead, sending them both to the barricade and then to the floor. Again both men are on the ground and again Hightower counts. Shannon begins to walk over to where her husband is. This seems to rouse him. He does the zombie sit up and stares her back to his corner.
The crowd can't believe Ghosthead sits up after that and, as he starts to stir, neither can Evans. Both men get into the ring slowly from opposite sides. They rush at each other and lock up, and Ghosthead HEAVES Evans over with a suplex. He makes the pin, one two...NO! Evans kicks out. Evans fights out with forearms and creates some distance as they both get to their feet. He shoves Ghosthead away, hits the ropes and then hits a swinging neckbreaker. He makes the pin, one...two...NO! This time Ghosthead kicks out. Evans rolls away and Ghost helps him with a kick to the legs. Ghost rolls the other way and pulls himself up by the ropes, while Evans tries to get to his feet. Ghost climbs the ropes while Evans tries to get his bearings. Ghost once again walks out along the top rope, choosing his moment and LEAPS from the top rope into a hurrican....no wait, he's going for the Phantasmagoria. He has it...no! At the last minute, Evans drops a hip and Ghosthead goes over awkwardly. Evans gets him into a small package, stands and... WAY OF THE FUTURE! He makes the pin and one, two...THREE!
Evans is standing triumphantly in the ring as Ghosthead rolls to the edge. He grabs the championship belt from the referee and raises it over his head, displaying it to all four sides of the arena. He pounds his chest and does all the triumphant poses.
Suddenly the house lights go out. A spotlight appears on the stage and the familiar sound of “Firewoman” comes over the loud speakers.
"THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE"
The crowd starts to cheer loudly as the lights gradually come back up. Evans is staring up at the ramp waiting. Eventually the lights are bright enough to reveal who exactly is standing behind him, holding a chair, in jeans, black leather jacket, blazing red hair....Firewoman's back! The crowd goes wild and Evans slowly realizes that Alexander Darling is not coming down the ramp, which means someone must be behind him. He slowly turns around and is shocked to see her standing there. She smiles. And before he even has time to react she has dropped the chair in front of her, kicked him in the gut, and ....FIRESTORM onto the chair. The crowd cheers this, and she rolls Evans over with a booted foot as she grabs both the belt and the chair. Now it's her turn to raise both arms, holding the chair and the belt to the arena, that cheers her. She looks down at Evans, and up the ramp to where Shannon is helping Ghosthead. Ghosthead turns around and he and Firewoman lock eyes for a moment. Firewoman's hand goes almost unconsciously to the pendant she's wearing. Ghosthead and Shannon turn and go to the back. Fire throws the chair down, and it bounces off Evans and to the side. She kisses the belt and then drapes it over Evans, as a shroud, before waving to the crowd and heading up the ramp.
