Name: Davin Moreland
pOOster name: TommyD420
Height: 6'10"
Weight: 288 lbs
Build: White Lashley
Birthplace: Cummaquid, MA
OOWF Debut: November 2006
Face/Heel/Neutral: Face, mainly because of his present associations; but definitely does some heelish crap from time to time (like beating people up in the hallway). Even nice guys get pushed too far at times (OMG FORESHADOWING!)
Physical Description: Big, tall white dude, short cropped hair, goatee. Wears black jeans, A Ty Law Patriots Jersey (also pretty worn) and wrasslin boots.
Entrance Music: "Pull Me Under" - Dream Theater - Clicky (Short Version) alone; "Walk This Way" - Run D.M.C. when entering with Run DLP, Presented by Aquafina - Clicky (From 0:33 on)
Finisher and Description of Finisher: Several possible finishers: Pin Finisher: A real-looking Diamond Cutter that looks like it hurts, called "A REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER". Always set up with a run off the opposite ropes for devastating visual effect.
Alternate Finishers: "Sweet Dreams", which is a top-rope, inverted DDT; Dominator; 450 Shooting Star Press; Double-Jump 450 Frogsplash (Top Rope to Mat, Mat to Person); Code-Breaker; Spear; Double Jump Drop Kick called the "Dolphin Kick". Is currently working on an 810 Moonsault with Phantos
Submission Finisher: Marc Henry Memorial Armbar (primary). This is, well, a Fujiwara Armbar, but apparently one that's really, really painful.
Also: STF, Sharpshooter, Crossface, Rear Naked Choke, Main Event Sleeper, Boston Crab, Figure 4, Ankle Lock, Indian Death Lock, Torture Rack, Bear Hug
Style(old school, technician, brawler, etc.): An absolute freak of nature. The whole power moveset, mixed with an almost luchadore ability. Size, Speed, Agility, Quickness, and OMG WORKRATE~!. Uses chops instead of punches, making him (obviously) 10x more cool. Gives an amazing effort every night, whether taking on a jobber or taking on the champ. Willing to play dirty if need be, but is smart enough to never get caught. Takes nobody lightly. People tend to comment on his intensity and athleticism. Also, LOVES to no-sell stuff, anything from a thumb to the eye, to a Canadian Destroyer off the top rope. You just never know. Has chosen "I Quit" Matches as his Onslaught Stip, and absolutely refuses to tap under any circumstances...ever...ever..EVAR.
Biography: Davin Moreland has taken a long road to where he is today. A shy and reserved kid growing up; Davin found his stride in athletics; lettering in 4 Sports (Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Golf) during his time at Barnstable High School, leading his Football team to Back-to-back E-Mass 1A Championships as a TE/DE, and Back-to-back-to-back E-Mass D-I Championships in Basketball as a Power Forward. (He also won the Massachusetts High Schools Title in Golf, winning 10 & 8 in the 36-hole Final).
Recruited by several D-I Colleges, thrilled to have a potential scholarship athlete who actually scored above the minimum SAT scores; Davin seemed destined for greatness. He committed to Villanova on a basketball scholarship. However, during the summer before College; Davin was playing a pick-up game of beach volleyball; came down wrong and destroyed ligaments in his knee and ankle. Crushed, Davin had to regroup quickly and attend Cape Cod Community College and make ends meet by working at Burger King across the street.
After 4 years of surgery, reconstruction and rehabilitation, Moreland's leg was finally 100%. His mother (a big influence in his life) begged him to go to law school; but the New England Patriots were holding open tryouts, and Moreland decided to give it a go. Coach William Bellichick decided Moreland would work best at Cornerback (And who wouldn't want a 6'10" CB), and told Davin to come back the next day with an agent for a contract signing.
However, in the crowd was a promoter for the WWF; who talked Davin into riches and lighter work than he would have to do for a football team. He was sent to OVW to develop his skills.
During this time, Davin was suffering from an untreated Bi-polar disorder, and became volatile and unpredictable. Stamford had no choice but to give Davin his unconditional release; leaving Davin listless and directionless.
Luckilly, he did have some friends from OVW who helped him get medical treatment. Eventually, he was healthy enough to sign on with several Indie promotions throughout the US, and even had a stint in ROH as a masked wrestler named El Badass. Rick Scaia happened to catch some of "El Badass" on a DVD months later and offered Davin a written contract with the OOWF.
After a real quick start, it seemed that Davin' s Illness raised it's ugly head once again, and had poor Davin talking to a pole and eventually jobbing left and right, because he was so focused on things OTHER than wrestling.
In the months that followed, Chris Cole eventually nearly killed Davin Moreland one evening; and it was the beginning of the resurrection. After a month at Worcester State Hospital; Davin rejoined the OOWF roster fulltime and has had a meteoric rise to his current position today as Onslaught Champion.
Davin Moreland is unmarried and is unaware of any children.
Accomplishments: 3-Time Iron Man DDT Champ OOWF Onslaught Champion (Longest Ever Single-Reign) 2007 "Finisher of the Year" Winnar (tie)

New (old) Music:
Entrance - Blue and White lights alternate flashing slowly throughout the arena. Davin's Jumbotron starts to play at :57. Then at the 1:15 mark, there's a huge pyro display and Davin Himself appears on the ramp wearing whatever he's wearing. He's back to the DDP look, so that means jeans or long tights and usually the t-shirt of whatever the upcoming PPV is.

Name: Davin Moreland pOOster name: TommyD420 Height: 6'10" Weight: 279 lbs Build: Matt Morgan, without the shitty crew cut thing Birthplace: Cummaquid, MA OOWF Debut: November 2006
Face/Heel/Neutral: Whatever. Davin is who he is, and he usually gets cheers from the smart fans and is 50/50 from the marks depending on how much sand is in their collective vaginas over his current antics.
Physical Description: Big, tall white dude, medium to longish curly brown hair, goatee. Sports the Christian/Edge/Jericho-style "full leg" tights and wrasslin boots. Will occasionally wear a singlet, or a jeans/t-shirt thing as a throwback-ish thing. FOR THE KIDS!
Entrance Music: Currently "Extreme Ways (instrumental)" for all occasions. Has had about 300 billion different entrances, so don't be surprised if it's sometimes changed.
Finisher and Description of Finisher:
Several possible finishers:
Pin Finisher: A real-looking Diamond Cutter that looks like it hurts, called "A REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER". There are two variations of this which he busts out sometimes in bigger matches. First is the ELEVATED DIAMOND CUTTER, where Davin gets his opponent into a Press Slam position, tosses them into the air and hits the REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER. The second one is the SUPER ELEVATED DIAMOND CUTTER, which is essentially the ELEVATED DIAMOND CUTTER but off the top rope. As you can imagine, it's totally badass.
Alternate Finishers: "Sweet Dreams", which is a top-rope, inverted DDT; Dominator; Shooting Star Press; Code-Breaker; Spear; Double Jump Drop Kick called the "Dolphin Kick". 450 Splash; 630 Splash; 810 Splash (only if he's doing something suicidal off the top of a cage or ladder or something)
Submission Finisher: Davin is pretty kick-ass at submissions, and usually busts out a couple in every match to wear down his opponents. His favorite, and what he uses most to finish matches is the Sharpshooter.
However, he also uses an Ankle Lock and an STF pretty frequently, as well as a Cross-Arm Breaker.
He can also do: Crippler Crossface, Rear Naked Choke, Main Event Sleeper, Dragon Sleeper, Boston Crab (real one, not the shitty single leg one), Liontamer, Figure 4, Indian Death Lock, Torture Rack, Bear Hug
Style(old school, technician, brawler, etc.): An absolute freak of nature. The whole power moveset, mixed with an almost luchadore ability to jump and fly.
He's absolutely fearless and will put his body on the line without even thinking about it. Planchas, Suicide Dives, Stuff off the top of really high stuff, he just doesn't care.
Size, Speed, Agility, Quickness, and OMG WORKRATE~!. Uses chops instead of punches, making him (obviously) 10x more cool. Gives an amazing effort every night, whether taking on a jobber or taking on the champ. Willing to play dirty if need be, but is smart enough to rarely get caught. Whether he's "face" or "heel" or "whatever" - he sees nothing wrong with grabbing the tights or low blowing someone when the ref's back is turned. On rare occasion, he might even bust out a "Hulk Up" hope spot where he starts no-selling punches or whatever. But his straight up "no-selling" days are unfortunately over. Just don't be surprised if it happens once in a while.
Davin absolutely refuses to tap under any circumstances...ever...ever..EVAR. He never has. He never will. He'd rather die first.
Biography: Davin Moreland has taken a long road to where he is today. A shy and reserved kid growing up, Davin comes from a low-income single-parent family. His father left when he was very young, and was raised by his Mother, Robin. They're still very close to this day.
Davin found his stride in athletics; lettering in 4 Sports (Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Golf) during his time at Barnstable High School, leading his Football team to Back-to-back E-Mass 1A Championships as a TE/DE, and Back-to-back-to-back E-Mass D-I Championships in Basketball as a Power Forward. (He also won the Massachusetts High Schools Title in Golf, winning 10 & 8 in the 36-hole Final).
He was recruited by several D-I Colleges, thrilled to have a potential scholarship athlete who actually scored above the minimum SAT scores; Davin seemed destined for greatness. He committed to Syracuse on a basketball scholarship. However, during the summer before college; Davin was playing a pick-up game of beach volleyball; came down wrong and destroyed ligaments in his knee and ankle. Devastated, Davin had to regroup quickly and attend Cape Cod Community College and make ends meet by working at Burger King across the street.
After 4 years of surgery, reconstruction and rehabilitation, Moreland's leg was finally as close to 100% as it would ever get, and hasn't been an issue in his pro wrestling career. Robin begged him to go to law school; but the New England Patriots were holding open tryouts, and Moreland decided to give it a go. Coach William Belichick decided Moreland would work best at cornerback (And who wouldn't want a 6'10" CB), and told Davin to come back the next day with an agent for a contract signing.
However, in the crowd was a promoter for the WWF; who talked Davin into riches and lighter work than he would have to do for a football team. He was sent to OVW to develop his skills.
During this time, Davin was suffering from an untreated Bi-polar disorder, with auditory and visual hallucination features; and became volatile and unpredictable. Stamford had no choice but to give Davin his unconditional release; leaving Davin listless and directionless.
Luckily, he did have some friends from OVW who helped him get medical treatment. Eventually, he was healthy enough to sign on with several Indie promotions throughout the US, but got his first big break in Japan, where he signed on with the Dramatic Dream Team Wrestling Promotion. He worked as a Marlboro Man-type character called something-San. It probably translated to Mr. Cowboy or whatever. The main reason this was such a big break for Davin is because he had a long-term feud with the top face in the company there.
Of course, that top face is known as President Ramu, Daughter of The Undertaker. She was about 9 years old at the time the feud started. Most people would never allow their pride to be wounded like that, but Davin was smart enough to see the big picture, and did get over pretty well in that smaller promotion. Enough to get him noticed by OOWF GM the Rick, and God only knows what he was Googling to find Davin jobbing to a little girl - but Rick signed him not too long after viewing the highlights in November 2006.
After a very quick start, it seemed that Davin' s mental illness raised it's ugly head once again, and had poor Davin talking to a pole and eventually jobbing left and right, because he was so focused on things OTHER than wrestling.
In the months that followed, Grand Slam Champion Chris Cole nearly killed Davin Moreland at one Mayhem; and it was the beginning of Davin's resurrection and redemption. After a month at Worcester State Hospital; Davin rejoined the OOWF roster full time. He came back specifically targeting the man who tried to end his career, Chris Cole. The Cole/Moreland feud went on to become one of the longest running, most contentious and most over feuds in the history of the company, elevating both men as two of the all-time greats in OOWF History.
Shortly thereafter, the OOWF started to "faction up" a bit, and Davin found himself left out of the mix, so he went in search of anyone else in the same position. He ran into Phantos and Lucios (currently "Texpress" Chad Madison and Zane Meyers) a, at the time, masked tag team, who were also faction-less. Despite barely knowing each other to begin with, and captained by Phantos, they went on to become one of the most beloved stables by the fans in the OOWF; Run DLP. Eventually Moonbeam O'Callahan, known in the SFJ community as "SFJ420" joined them full time. She's been with Davin ever since.
Davin had just won the Onslaught Championship for the first time when Run DLP was formed. Today, the founding members of Run DLP have gone on to win 4 World Championships, an Intercontinental Championship, 3 Onslaught Championships, 6 Tag Team Championships and 4 Campeonas De Trios Championships.
Factions morphed and merged, and eventually there was a takeover attempt of OOWF by Whateverhisnamewas Bennett. Around this time, GM the Rick lost his fucking mind and ran out into the middle of a highway or something. He was gone for a while. With Rick's trusty sidekick Erlana, Davin Moreland (who was assistant GM at the time) became the Co-General Manager of OOWF, and remained so until Rick decided to bring his sorry-ass back. Also around this time, Davin started to dabble in endorsements as a way to generate additional money (since the OOWF doesn't pay for shit). OOWF was in deep financial trouble and didn't have much more than a cult following at the time, so it was Davin that got sponsors on board, everything from Dunkin' Donuts to Duncan Hills, and guaranteed the company's financial solvency for the foreseeable future.
After Rick came back, the battle lines were drawn, and Davin had zero interest in working for Rick anymore. In a VERY controversial move, Davin had several secret meetings with Alexis Darling, twin sister of Alexander Darling, eventually forming the merger of The DEA and Run DLP, known as Run DEA.
Run DEA was integral to the OOWF staying in the hands of Rick and the fans control, rather than LD Bennett's, because they aligned with other like-minded people to fight against "Team Bennett". They succeeded at Hell on Earth, where Davin also claimed his first ever World Heavyweight Championship.
It was also at this Hell on Earth where Davin led one of the biggest swerves in OOWF history, after Davin and the rest of Run DEA turned on Stank. The fans may not have liked it, but the success cannot be argued. Run DEA was the first stable in OOWF History to hold every major championship - [blink]an accomplishment that can be equaled, but never surpassed.[/blink]
The founding members of Run DEA have, in their careers, combined for 6 World Heavyweight Championships, 5 Intercontinental Championships, 6 Onslaught Championships, 7 Tag Team Championships and 7 Campeonas de Trios Championships.
Also during this time, Davin was introduced to Alexander and Alexis' older sister Samantha, who he eventually married. Lucios was the best man, and the only other Run DEA member present at the wedding, because Phantos was busy attending to that no-good, heartless Jezebel in the hospital.
Eventually, since Alexander Darling is such a massive douchebag, things in Run DEA fell apart and broke up, leaving people without direction for a while. Prior to the breakup, Davin and Alexander tagged together without much success, jobbing to virtually everyone. However, they did come up with the illest tag finisher ever, the Darling Driver Diamond Cutter.
During this "post" time, Davin was again near the top of the World Heavyweight division, when "The Five" was formed, after a cowardly turn by Stank. Why would he DO such a thing? So uncalled for. So, whatever, "The Five" happened. Davin spent most of this time on an unbelievable winning streak, winning an Intercontinental Championship and then later a Tag Team Championship with Alexis Darling. It was her first major championship, but for Davin it meant immortality, as he joined the prestigious and exclusive "Grand Slam Champion" club, permanently ensuring his place in OOWF history.
Currently, as a result of a bet from Alexander Darling being a massive douchebag (a recurring theme) Davin currently leads a group of young superstars under the banner of GFY. GFY includes Chris Evans and J-P Sparxx. He's advised by his wife Samantha and Olympic Gold Medalist, Dancing With the Stars Champion and America's Sweetheart Shawn Johnson.
