OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Tokyo, Japan
AMNESIAC vs. MUERTE
'I Can't Remeber' hits the speakers and The Amnesiac appears at the top of the ramp. The crowd seems solidly behind him as he high-fives the fans alongside the entrance ramp. The Amnesiac steps between the ropes and climbs a turnbuckle, lifting his arms high. The crowd gives him one more appreciative roar and then they await his opponent.
The arena goes dark as the opening riffs of 'El Infierno de Dante' blasts through the sound system. The top of the entrance ramp explodes and El Muerte appears within the resulting smoke. He is head banging as he makes his way down the ramp. The crowd is booing, but he seems not to care as he is rocking out. He jumps up onto the apron, yells at a few members of the audience, and then leaps into the ring. He points directly at The Amnesiac as the referee calls for the bell.
This should be a hell of a match-up between these two masked luchadores from Mexico. El Muerte charges at The Amnesiac to start things off, but The Amnesiac drops down to the mat and Muerte jumps over him. Muerte bounces back and grabs The Amnesiac, now whipping him into the ropes. Muerte ducks his head and Amnesiac hops over him. Now it's Amnesiac's turn to bounce of the ropes a second time. He does just that but Muerte catches him in a capture-suplex position. Amnesiac reverses it and gets behind Muerte. Muerte throws a few back elbows that catch Amnesiac in the jaw and then catches him with a spinning drop-toe hold. Amnesiac quickly gets back to his feet and the two lock up. Muerte sends Amnesiac into the corner and runs in after him. Amnesiac runs up the turnbuckle and does a back flip, leaving Muerte to slam chest-first into the corner. Amnesiac bounces of the ropes behind Muerte and catches him with a bulldog. These two are really going at it. Muerte gets back to his feet and motions for Amnesiac to "bring it". Amnesiac obliges and the two begin slugging it out on the middle of the ring. Amnesiac goes for a kick to the midsection, but Muerte catches his boot. Amnesiac attempts to follow with an enzugiri but Muerte has the wherewithal to duck the kick. Somehow, Amnesiac is able to plant his foot and deliver a flipping heel kick directly to the jaw of El Muerte. The Amnesiac goes for the cover. One...Two...El Muerte kicks out. Amnesiac picks up Muerte, but Muerte rakes the eyes, allowing himself a momentary breather. Amnesiac staggers backwards trying to regain his vision and El Muerte capitalizes with a running knee to the stomach. Amnesiac doubles-over in pain, allowing Muerte to launch himself of the ropes and connect with a swinging neck breaker. Amnesiac gets to his feet rather quickly and cuts off Muerte before he can do any more damage. The two then do the "holy shit they're reversing every move" routine that ends with the standard stare-down. The crowd cheers wildly for this, that is until El Muerte tells them to "Shut up!". The cheers quickly become boo's, but then quickly become cheers again as The Amnesiac rocks El Muerte with a few hard punches. Muerte is reeling, and Amnesiac looks to capitalize by whipping him into the ropes. Muerte amazingly does a back flip off the second rope and catches The Amnesiac with a reverse DDT! That's gotta be it! Cover. One...Two...The Amnesiac kicks out! This OOWF newcomer is showing a ton of resiliency! El Muerte tries to catch his breath as Amnesiac slowly gets back to a vertical base. The two lock up once more, and somehow Muerte gets behind The Amnesiac. El Muerte goes for a suplex, but The Amnesiac flips out of it and lands on his feet. Muerte turns around and finds himself on the receiving end of a few knife-edge chops. The crowd is firmly behind Amnesiac as he builds momentum. Amnesiac adds a few punches to the chops and then he sends Muerte into the ropes and attempts to hip toss him. Muerte his able to land on his feet, but he seemed to have tweaked his right ankle. The Amnesiac knows he has the upper hand and looks to end the match. He charges at El Muerte, but Muerte powders-out of the ring. Amnesiac yells at him to get back inside, but El Muerte just keeps backing up the entrance ramp. The crowd boo's loudly as the referee gets to 10.
WINNER by count-out in 7:41 - The Amnesiac
The Amnesiac stands in the middle of the ring shrugging his shoulders in the universal sign for "What the hell?!?". El Muerte just taps his temple a few times and then motions to his waist in the standard "title belt" motion. The Amnesiac just looks even more confused as El Muerte disappears into the back.
ECOSYSTEM & BEAST vs. THE NERVE AGENT & VOLTAGE
Nerve and Voltage are already in the ring. Uh-oh. Eco wanders out from backstage to no music and looks confused. It looks like he's carrying a book with him as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. I don't think he knows exactly where he is right now. Eventually he steps in between the ropes and into the ring. Not know what to do next, Eco sits in a corner and prepares to read his book. As soon as he opens it Beast pops out! The referee shrugs his shoulders and signals for the bell.
Ecosystem starts of the match against The Nerve Agent. The two tie-up and Eco continues to look confused. Nerve easily takes him down with a hip toss and goes for a quick cover. One...Two...Beast makes the save. Beast argues with Eco for a moment, telling him to "get his shit together". Eco continues to stand there and gets rocked by right hands from Nerve. Not knowing what to do, Eco no-sells the punches. The Nerve Agent is getting frustrated, so he tags in Voltage. The two former partners stare at each other and something seems to click for Ecosystem. He actually begins to fight back and the two trade punches for a moment until Voltage gains the advantage and shoves Eco into a corner. Unfortunately for Voltage, it's Eco's corner, and Beast tags himself in. I guess it's one of those "hot tags" because Beast goes to town on Voltage, dropping him every time he gets up. Nerve charges in to help his partner and eats a SPEAR! Beast is totally dominating. Voltage gets back to his feet and...SPEAR! Beast goes for the cover. One...Two...Nerve just barely manages to get over in time to break up the pin. As the referee sends Nerve back to his corner, Beast tries to tag in Eco. Instead of paying attention, Eco is mesmerized by a giant floating question-mark block above his head. Eco hits it from underneath and...IT'S-A ME, MARIO! Super Mario jumps into the ring and helps Beast take out Voltage and Nerve. The referee considers throwing out the match, but decides it doesn't really matter either way and lets it continue. Mario pulls a turnip out of nowhere and nails Voltage with it, stunning him. Beast follows up with ANOTHER SPEAR! Cover. One...Two...Three.
WINNERS in 3:17 - Ecosystem and Beast (and Super Mario)
BAD vs. IHOP
IHOP, accompanied by the lovely and talented Ms. Dorothy Mantooth, enter the ring first. They warm up as BAD’s music hits. Seamus McNasty and Damon Wrath storm the ring and attack, quickly beating down both Skurge and SYB. Seamus tosses SYB to the outside, and BAD sling Skurge to the ropes. Skurge ducks a tandem clothesline, and hits a double clothesline of his own. Referee Angelo Barros sends Seamus to his corner and calls for the bell.SYB climbs onto the apron and demands to start the match for his team. Skurge complies, and SYB and Damon Wrath start things out. SYB tries to go toe-to-toe with the bigger man, but Wrath’s size advantage is too much to overcome, and SYB gets backed into the corner. Wrath drives his shoulder into SYB’s midsection and whips him across the ring, but SYB hits the mat and slides under the ropes to the floor. Wrath puts on the brakes before he hits the corner, and SYB reaches in and trips him. SYB climbs onto the apron and walks up the turnbuckles, jumping off with a double foot stomp to Wrath’s chest. SYB gloats and marches to his corner to make the tag.Skurge hits a wicked clothesline as Wrath gets up. A body slam is followed by some stomps and a whip to the corner. Skurge hits a shoulder block in the corner, and distracts Barros as SYB wraps the tag rope around Wrath’s throat. Barros turns around and SYB releases him. Wrath stumbles forward into a drop toehold by Skurge, who makes a tag. SYB comes in with stomps, then hits the ropes and kicks Wrath in the face as he gets up. SYB comes off the ropes again with a leg drop and makes a cover. Wrath kicks out with authority at two. SYB moves in with a headlock as Wrath gets up. Wrath tries to throw him off but SYB hangs on, so Wrath picks him up, walks to the corner, and drops back, driving the back of SYB’s head into the turnbuckle. He pulls SYB up by the hair and tags his partner.Seamus comes in and hits a big boot to the face. SYB crumples to the mat. Seamus hits a suplex and floats over, but Skurge breaks it up at two. Seamus pulls SYB to his feet as Barros escorts Skurge out of the ring. Jersey Turnpike! Seamus doubles over and falls to the mat and SYB dives on him for the cover, but this time Wrath makes the save. BAD sling SYB to the ropes and plant him with a flapjack before Wrath leaves the ring. Seamus scoops and slams SYB, and drives a knee into his temple. He goes for the Black and Tan, but Skurge is in with a flying forearm, leveling Seamus, and taking SYB down as well. Barros moves to reprimand Skurge, but Wrath gets there first, hitting a diving clothesline that takes both Skurge and himself over the ropes to the outside. They slug it out on the floor while, inside the ring, SYB staggers to his feet. He sees that Seamus is stirring and hits the ropes. What he was attempting we’ll never know, as Seamus springs to his feet and catches him with the Irish Car Bomb. Skurge dives for the ring, but Wrath drags him back out as Barros counts the tree.
WINNERS, in 13:45, BAD.
BUNNY vs. KNIFE – Ultimate O Match
The Ultimate X match is about to happen! The camera pans away from an empty ring, up to the entrance ramp. Bunny's music blares through the arena. "Pst. Hey, listen." A sea of heads turn towards the ramp to see Bunny walk onto the stage. But, no Bunny. "Can we fly? I can. Wanna see?" The X scaffolding is slowly lowered from the ceiling. Everyone looks at the structure and there's Bunny, standing in the middle of the X, on his hands. The crowd cheers him on as the structure touches down and is secured into place. Bunny handsprings onto his feet, then amazes everybody with a gainer full from the scaffolding into the ring. The arena lights shine down on the X structure. Hanging from the middle of the X is an O. Bunny rolls out of the ring and gives all the chicks in the front row hugs and blows kisses to the cheap seats. X's and O's, get it!? Bunny is just rolling back into the ring as the lights go dim and a spotlight shines on Knife, standing on the stage, looking forward. He starts off down the ramp, but Bunny is quick to act. He springboards off the ropes and goes for a quick spot to open the match. Knife simply side-steps the move and watched Bunny splat on the floor. Knife grabs Bunny by the ears and pulls him to his feet. He delivers a hard knee to the gut, then bashes Bunny's head into the floor. He rolls into the ring and climbs to the top rope. Bunny shakes the birds from around his head and looks up to see Knife climbing the structure. He does a quick emo hair flip to get his ear out of his eye. All the chicks scream in excitement for the sexy head movement. Bunny hops onto the apron and springboards off the ropes, nailing Knife with a dropkick to the chest. Knife falls from the structure and Bunny capitalizes. He grabs Knife and goes for a whip, but Knife reverses and sends Bunny flying into a corner. Bunny takes a page out of Jeff Hardy's playbook and hits a TWIST OF HIGH IMPACT WHISPER IN THE SWANTON MOVE~! Knife is down and Bunny is right back up to the top rope. He gets extra flippy with a PHOENIX 630! But Knife gets his knees up at the last possible moment and Bunny's back arches as it connects. Knife gets to his feet and grabs Bunny's arms. He tosses him over the top rope like a furry, cute, little stuffed animal. But Bunny is able to hang onto the top rope and skins the rabbit. Knife turns back around and BUNNY DRIVER! But Knife over-rotates the move and lands on his feet. He picks Bunny up and tackles him into a corner. He follows up with shoulder thrusts before hoisting Bunny to the top rope. He climbs up with him, then PILEDRIVER FROM THE TOP~! As Knife falls from the top rope, Bunny extends his legs and hooks his paws into the scaffolding above the ring. Knife falls to the mat, while Bunny hangs upside down by his back paws. He sways in the wind for a few short moments before dropping from the structure with an imploding senton! Knife is hurt. Bunny kips up to his feet and handsprings across the ring, then back flips from the ring floor up to the top rope. He leaps onto the horizontal part of the scaffolding and begins to climbs across, making his way towards the O. He glances down and sees Knife is getting to his feet. Bunny climbs faster and gets to the middle of the X. He struggles with the O hanging from the X, trying to get it unhooked. He glances down, only to find that Knife is no longer in the ring. He continues to struggle with the O, as a chair comes flying from outside the ring. WHAM! Bunny is darted with the chair. He falls from the structure and goes limp in the center of the ring. Blood begins to soak through the white fur on his forehead, as Knife slides into the ring with a ladder in hand. He sets the ladder up in the middle of the ring, trapping Bunny underneath. He begins his climb, headed for the O. The crowd is booing him every inch of the way. He is sitting at the top of the ladder and grabs a hold of the O, when suddenly... A bunny jumps out from the center of the O and latches onto Knife's face. Knife swats at the animal, but it won't let up. The ladder gets tipsy, pukes, then tips over, emptying Knife to the outside of the ring. Bunny, now freed from the ladder, kips up to his feet. He runs towards the ropes and leaps over them with a Fosbury Flop, landing on a kneeling Knife, yet managing to inflict no harm on the bunny. Bunny pulls the ring apron up and pulls a table out from under the ring. He sets it up, as the crowd cheers rapidly. He grabs Knife, but Knife swings at him. Bunny ducks it, then MANDIBLE EAR~! Knife is being choked out! Bunny lays Knife's lifeless body on the table, then yanks his ear out of Knife's mouth. He grabs the frightened bunny from the top of Knife's head and releases it outside. He darts back to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. He pulls the ladder out of its own puke and sets it up near the side of the ring. The crowd watches on as Bunny reaches the top of the ladder. But he isn't up high enough. He grabs onto the scaffolding and pulls himself onto it. He walks over to the end of it and signals for something big to go down. He readies himself, turns backwards, then leaps! DOUBLE LOSER WITH A TWIST~! The first time we've ever seen him use it! He slams Knife and they crash through the table. He takes a while to get back up, but when he does, Bunny blazes into the ring and starts the climb towards the O. He reaches the center of the X, but a knife falls out from the center of the O and slices off one of Bunny's precious ears! Bunny falls to the mat in pain. Blood pours from his ear wound as Knife groggily gets to his feet and slides into the ring. He climbs his way up the side of the structure, then makes another attempt towards the center. By this time, Bunny has managed to get a ringside assistant, Ill Ralfonzo, to hand over some silver duct tape. Bunny wraps his head in tape to close the near-fatal ear wound. He rolls under the ropes and stands up on the apron. He springboards off the ropes and flies through the air. He grabs Knife, but Knife doesn't fall. He hangs from the X, as Bunny hangs from him. Knife somehow manages to climb the rest of the way, with Bunny hanging from him, to the O in the middle of the X. He goes to unhook the O from the X. The O spins around and Knife sticks his hand through the center of the O. His hands disappears! Bunny notices this strange phenomenon and scurries up Knife's body. He grabs the scaffolding and stuffs Knife's entire body through the center of the O, then unhooks it from the X and drops down into the middle of the ring. The crowd cheers, yet still kind of wonders where Knife went. Bunny stands up and holds the O above his head in joy. A referee climbs into the ring to raise Bunny's hand. He accidentally bumps his elbow into Bunny's side, which kind of tickles Bunny. Bunny loses his grip on the O and it falls to the mat. Bunny goes through the center of the O, while the referee stands there, confused. He looks around, backs up slowly, then turns around and books it.
WINNER in 39:48 - Bunny
WORLDS GREATEST FAG TEAM vs. CONCRETE TG & FIRECHILD
WGFT are out first, to lusty boos from the crowd. Lust of another kind explodes when Lauren Phoenix ducks under the top rope. Guess she forgot to wear underwear, again. Crete and Firechild are next, and both men sprint straight to the ring and slide inside, kick starting a pier six brawl! The ref does what he can to get things under control, but he's not having much luck. At last, Crete clotheslines Hardcore out of the ring and they both hits the floor. Since we're at least down to two men in the ring now, the official calls for the bell and this one is officially underway. Cappington looks to rely on power, muscling Fire into a corner and laying in with big right hands, but the smaller man dodges aside and snaps Cappington's arm over the rope. Cappington backs off, nursing his elbow, and Firechild turns on his OMGWORKRATE~! with a relentless attack on the weakened body part. Meanwhile, Hardcore and Crete have continued to brawl on the floor, with RH gaining the advantage after Lauren Phoenix jumps on CTG form behind and rakes his eyes. Hardcore whips Crete into the guardrails, head first, then stomps him down a few times. Seeing Cappington in trouble, RH slides into the ring and slams a double axe-handle into Firechild's back. Cappington uses the break to make the tag, and as Concrete woozily makes his way onto the apron, we finally have something that approaches a tag match. Firechild and Hardcore battle back and forth, unleashing stiff kicks and strikes upon each other. At last RH gets the edge and forces FC into the WGFT corner. He grabs Firechild's head and slams it into the top turnbuckle, then readies to do it again – and as he does, Cappington whips away the covering! That cad unlaced it while the referee was busy! FC comes up bleeding from the impact with the bare steel, and Hardcore immediately targets the cut, digging his fingers into it and trying to open it wider. CTG unwisely tries to go to his partner's aid. When he is inevitably cut off by the referee, WGFT take the opportunity to change places without a tag, and FFC unleashes a series of powerful forearms to Firechild's bleeding face. Then the big man hefts his opponent above his head, apparently planning to send Firechild like a dart into the guardrails, but FC has the presence of mind to strike Cappington's injured elbow, allowing him to slip free and make the Ricky Morton tag. CTG comes in a House Afire (oddly, given that it's his partner with the flame gimmick), Punch to Cappington! Punch to Hardcore! Punch to Cappington! Punch to Hardcore! Forearms and knees to Cappington, driving the big man into the corner! CTG sees the ref trying to get Hardcore out of the ring and decides to help with a dropkick, but RH pulls the official in the way! REF BUMP~! Now Cappington and Hardcore double-team CTG, but there's no way Firechild is standing by for that. All four men brawl in and out of the ring, in a swirling melee that takes in cement floor DDTs, the steel steps, and barrier bump after barrier bump. At last, chairs are seized by both Hardcore and Cappington. Hardcore swings first, but Firechild ducks the low and snatches the chair away! Now one man on each side has a chair! Naturally, the ref recovers just in time to see Cappington plaster CTG while Firechild simultaneously belts Hardcore. Realizing this one is out of control, he calls for the bell.
WINNERS - NO CONTEST IN 12:28
CAPELLAN vs. BLITZ vs. MARK VANDER – Winner Gets an Onslaught Title Shot Next Week
Capellan, Blitz and Vander make their way to the ring. Vander and Capellan shake hands before the match and offer their hand to Blitz, but he just mocks them and refuses. The referee calls for the bell and this one is underway. Cap and Vander move to the center of the ring and look to Blitz, but he stays in the corner and refuses to come out, so Cap and Vander lock up. Vander pushes Cap to the corner and the referee calls for a clean break and gets one. The two men meet back in the center of the ring and locks up again, Capellan grabs a side head lock and Vander almost immediately shoves him to the ropes. Before Capellan can hit the ropes, Blitz explodes out of the corner and blindsides him with a clothesline. Blitz then charges at Vander and catches him with a forearm to the side of the head that staggers the big man. Blitz hits a spinning heel kick that sends him to one knee, then bounds off the ropes and lands a shining wizard that sends Vander to the mat. Before Blitz can follow up, Capellan is back on his feet and he grabs Blitz and spins him around and plants him with a jaw breaker. Capellan springs off the bottom rope, trying a moonsault, but Blitz gets his knees up. Thinking quickly, Capellan lands on his feet and drops an elbow across Blitz’s sternum and covers for a two count. Vander makes his way back into the ring and they pull Blitz to his feet and send him to the ropes and elevate him with a double back drop. Blitz hits the mat and rolls under the ropes to the safety of the floor. In the ring, Capellan and Vander turn to one another and both men hit the ropes and we stat a criss cross. Vander drops to the mat and Capellan rebounds and steps over him but Vander springs to his feet and catches Capellan with a thunderous power slam as he rebounds. Vander hooks the leg but he can only get a two count. Vander pulls Capellan to his feet, but before he can do anything else, Blitz climbs to the apron and hits a sling shot missile drop kick on Vander that sends him flying. Blitz springs back to his feet and catches a charging Capellan and drills him with a choke slam, covers, and gets a two count before Vander breaks it up with an elbow to the back of the head. Vander pulls Blitz up and whips him into the corner, then charges in, but Blitz moves out of the way and Vander crashes into the corner sternum first. As Vander staggers backward, Blitz catches him with a lung blower, but Capellan appears out of nowhere and covers, getting a two count before Blitz can break it up with a stiff kick to the face. Vander rolls out of the ring to get a breather, but it is not much of one as both Blitz and Capellan charge across the ring and dive over the ropes and connect with Vander sending him crashing back first into the steel guard rail. Capellan shows a little concern for his sometime tag team partner, but Blitz shoves him aside and pulls Vander up and whips him hard into the corner stairs. Vander slams into the steel back first and collapses to the floor. Capellan grabs Blitz and spins him around and rocks him with several European uppercuts, then fires him back into the ring. Capellan jumps onto the apron and scales the ropes, but Blitz recovers in time and meets Capellan in the corner. Both men fight on the ropes, Blitz gets the better of it with a rake to the eyes and sets Capellan up for a superplex. Before he can hit the move, Mark Vander is back into the ring and he runs to the corner and gets under Blitz and takes him out of the corner and POWERBOMBS him to the mat! Capellan freed himself from Blitz at the last moment, so he remains on the top rope. As Vander stands back up to look at the damage, Capellan flies off the top rope and PLANTS Vander with a bulldog. Capellan covers Vander and gets a two count, then immediately falls across Blitz and gets another two count. All three men slowly get to their feet. Blitz and Capellan go face to face and argue about something, perhaps the believability of global warming or something, and as Vander gets up and turns around, thy both POP him in the face with super kicks! Instead of making the cover, Blitz and Capellan shove each other and argue about who is going to make the cover. This allows Vander to get his bearings about him again and slowly get to his feet. Vander shakes the cobwebs free and hit the ropes and charge at Blitz for a CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL! But Blitz moves out of the way and Capellan takes the full brunt of the move! Blitz grabs a stunned Vander and throws him shoulder first into the corner, then clotheslines him over the top rope. Blitz pulls Capellan to his feet and scoops him up and hits the SIDE EFFECT, covers, and gets the one, two, three!
WINNER in 12:02 - Blitz
PHANTOS & LUCIOS vs. THE HEELS
Another war between bitter enemies, Phantos and Lucios take on The Heels in a battle of former OOWF world tag team champions. The Heels come to the ring first and taunt the Japanese crowd. One of these days they WILL be lynched by the crowd, you just KNOW it is going to happen. Phantos and Lucios are introduced next and the crowd erupts for them as they make their way to the ring. As soon as they step between the ropes, the Heels attack. Johnny grabs Phantos and slams him to the mat and hammers him with shots to the face, and grabs his head and bounces it off the mat repeatedly. AA tries to sneak attack Lucios but Lucios turns around before he can get him. AA falls to his knees and begs off, but Lucios grabs him by the head and asks the crowd if he should nail AA. Of course the crowd is all for it, but before he can do anything, AA nails Lucios with a low blow that doubles him over in pain. AA gets to his feet and drives several elbows down across the back of Lucios head, then hits the ropes and takes him to the mat with a swinging neck breaker. Meanwhile, Johnny pulls Phantos to his feet and runs him face first across the top rope, then chokes him on the top until the referee threatens disqualification. Johnny sling shots Phantos back into the ring. AA pulls Lucios up and nails an inverted atomic drop, then hits a DROP KICK! To Lucios chest that sends him out of the ring, and gets an audible GASP from the Tokyo crowd. Johnny and Phantos look to be the legal men in the ring now, and Johnny has Phantos on the mat and is dropping repeated knees across his chest. Johnny reaches out and tags in AA. AA comes in and drops a Dusty elbow across Phantos chest and covers, but only gets a two count, much to his dismay. AA glares at the referee then pulls Phantos up and sends him to the ropes and catches Phantos with a perfect belly-to-belly suplex, somewhere Magnum TA is smiling, well that is, if Tully Blanchard isn’t sneak attacking him. Anyway, back to the match, AA covers and gets another two count, but Phantos manages to kick out at two, so AA pulls him to his feet and locks him in the Million Dollar Dream! Phantos fights the hold, but falls to one knee and the Japanese crowd goes insane cheering him on. Phantos fights to his feet and works to the corner where he walks the turnbuckle and pushes himself back and sends both men to the mat AA keeps hold of the sleeper and Phantos gets a two count before AA releases him. AA gets to his feet and tags Johnny in and Adrenaline charges in, but gets taken to the mat with a leg sweep. Phantos gets to his feet and staggers around the ring, and does the Flair flop just as Johnny is about to grab him, tagging in Lucios. Lucios charges into the ring and hammers Johnny with forearms to the head, then sends him to the ropes and elevates him with a high back body drop. AA charges into the ring and gets a big boot to the face for his effort that sends him out of the ring. Lucios pulls Johnny to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him with a side slam, planting him on the mat. Lucios goes to the second rope and waits for Adrenaline to get to his feet, as he does, Lucios leaps and nearly decapitates him with a clothesline. Lucios rolls Johnny over and covers, but only gets a two count because AA comes back into the ring and kicks Lucios in the face to break the pin. Phantos charges in and nails AA with a drop kick to the face that sends him BACK out of the ring to the floor. Lucios pulls a dazed Johnny to his feet and tags Phantos into the ring. Lucios military presses Johnny above his head and Phantos leaps off the top rope and drops a leg across the back of Johnny’s head as Lucios drops him to the mat! Johnny is OUT! Phantos rolls him over and covers, but AA grabs Phantos’ leg from the outside and pulls him out of the ring. AA grabs Phantos and throws him shoulder first into the steel stairs and gets a few good kicks in before Lucios runs around the ring and saves his partner. Phantos rolls onto the apron and under the ring and Adrenaline is right there to pounce on Phantos, driving his knee into his shoulder repeatedly, then pulling him up, grabbing an arm wringer and tagging in AA who comes in with a knee to the shoulder. AA hammerlocks Phantos and scoops him up and slams him on the mat, then climbs to the second rope and drops a fist between Phantos eyes, covers, and gets a two count. AA pulls Phantos up and holds him and tags in Johnny, Johnny steps between the ropes and connects with a knee to the gut, doubling Phantos over, then planting him on the mat with a DDT. Johnny covers, but Lucios breaks it up with a kick to the back of the head. Johnny pulls Phantos to his feet and sends him into the corner, but Phantos scales the corner and gives Johnny a head fake, Johnny ducks and Phantos leaps off the ropes and connects with a second rope rocker dropper! He tags in Lucios and Lucios pulls Johnny off the ropes and scoops him up and plants him across his knee and keeps him there, then tags Phantos back in. Phantos climbs to the top rope and leaps, but something was off in their timing and Johnny slipped off Lucios knee a second too soon and Phantos crashed down, with all his weight across Johnny’s throat! Adrenaline immediately grabs his throat and rolls under the bottom rope, takes a few steps and then falls to the floor gasping for breath! Something is not right here. AA jumps off the apron and runs around the ring to his partner, the referee leaves the ring and takes one look at Adrenaline, who is still clutching at his throat and not turning a disturbing shade of blue. The referee throws up the dreaded “X” sign as Phantos stands staring in disbelief. Medics rush from the back and immediately crowd around Adrenaline while AA stands by his partner shouting encouragement. The medics call for an ambulance, and we get an ambulance back into the arena to ringside where they load Adrenaline. The camera follows the ambulance as it leaves the arena and speeds to the local Tokyo hospital. Meanwhile at ringside, several of Bennett’s men, including Moose, Williams, Eric and Cole have come out to console AA. They walk to the back, but not before AA turns and stares at a clearly shocked Phantos and yells “YOU DID THIS!” Phantos is in a daze as Lucios and Davin Moreland help him from the ring to the back. Clearly this match has been thrown out.
WINNER – No Contest in 17:15 via referee stoppage
PEGASUS KID II vs. TIGER MASK IV
Tiger Mask VI comes out to a HUMONGOUS pop as he makes his way up the extended ramp slapping hands with the crowd and soaking in the reception. He does the traditional leap from the apron to the top turnbuckle and pose, and the crowd is crazy, super, mega-batshitting themselves. It’s hard to imagine a better reception, but the next combatant is on his way.
The first few seconds of this:
comes over the PA, before there’s an audible record scratch, and it’s replaced by this:
and out comes Pegasus Kid II with the mask on, but he’s carrying a bible, a length of cord, presumably from a weight machine, a syringe and a cell phone. The crowd, once they realize what’s going on, unanimously goes into a chorus of murderous boos. This is not the Pegasus Kid they remember. People are throwing trash, beer, whatever they’ve got (no pun intended) at Pegasus Kid II, and he ignores it, going to the ring with a truly sick, sadistic smile. The crowd continues their onslaught, while Pegasus Kid II gets to the apron. He turns around, facing away from the ring, takes his syringe, and pretends to inject himself a few times, before tossing it into the crowd. He then takes the cell phone and pretends to send text messages. Security is having a tough time holding the crowd back from rushing the ring, and Pegasus Kid II is generating some SERIOUS heel heat. He hangs the cord on one of the turnbuckles, and places the bible and phone underneath it. He looks across the ring at Tiger Mask VI, and does a throat slash:
drawing, believe it or not, MORE boos. The NJPW referee looks absolutely disgusted as he calls for the bell…WE’RE UNDERWAY!
Collar and elbow tie-up to start, which is won easily by the bigger PK, who shoves TM into the corner. The ref calls for a break, but PK ignores him and UNLEASHES 6 straight chops, devastating TM. Tiger Mask VI’s chest is bright red, and he’s fallen to his knees trying to recover. Pegasus Kid II unloads some punches and kicks, forcing TM to the floor, before the Ref FINALLY pushes PK away. PK does another throat slash to a chorus of boos, and heads back over to TM; but Tiger Mask VI has something for him this time, SWEEPING PK’s legs out from under him. TM is up quickly and bounces off the ropes and hits a Senton Drop. PK is hurt. TM manages to pull him up and shove him into the ropes, catches him around the waist…TIGER SUPLEX WITH BRIDGE! Ref slides in for the cover: 1, 2, NO! Pegasus Kid II just did kick out, to the disdain of the crowd. TM picks him up again and whips PK into the turnbuckle. TM charges and hits a MONSTER Back Elbow. Wasting no time, TM hits a Codebreaker. Pegasus Kid II is stumbling around holding his face, while the speedy Tiger Mask VI climbs the turnbuckle. PK isn’t watching. TOR-NA-DO DDT! Crowd is BATSHIT! PK rolls onto his back, and TM looks to visibly make up his mind as to what to do next, and he heads back to the top of the turnbuckle and leaps off with a FROGSPLASH…but Pegasus Kid II got his feet up just in time, and Tiger Mask VI’s mush meets PK’s feet, and that has to hurt. Crowd no likey. The ref starts a count.
The two get to their feet almost simultaneously at the count of 6 and charge each other, but Pegasus Kid II gives Tiger Mask VI the old “Ole’” treatment, and TM goes face first into the turnbuckle. PK stalks him as TM stumbles back from the turnbuckle. PK locks his hands around TM’s waist and IT’S GERMAN SUPLEX TIME! Pegasus Kid II gets 7 Germans off before finally releasing. Tiger Mask VI is in a bad, bad way. Throat slash from PK (BOO!) and he climbs the nearest turnbuckle, and leaps off HIGH looking for a Swandive Head butt, but he only ends up head butting the mat, as TM rolled out of the way just in time. There’s blood leaking from Pegasus Kid II’s mask. TM looks to press the advantage and put this one away. He picks up PK, and pulls him to his feet…TIGER DRIVER 91!!!! That’s it, goodnight, drive home safely. Ref slides in for the academic cover: 1, 2, Thre…NO! NO! PEGASUS KID II SOMEHOW GOT THE SHOULDER UP! Both the ref and Tiger Mask VI look at each other mystified, and the crowd apparently hates this, as they boo as loud as they have through this whole match. TM takes a few seconds to collect himself, and tries to plan his next move. He decides on a SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT…And it CONNECTS! TM covers: 1, 2, Th…NO! AGAIN PK got the shoulder up. Clearly, TM can’t believe it. He stands up and looks to the crowd, and kicks PK’s arms to his sides? What the hell? Tiger Mask VI crosses his arms back and forth, hits the near ropes, and…it’s the MOST ELECTRIFYING MOVE IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT TODAY! TM drills the PEOPLE’S ELBOW and covers: 1, 2, Thr…NO! Tiger Mask is visibly frustrated and slaps the mat a couple times. He stands over the near-lifeless body of Pegasus Kid II, and waves a hand in front of his face. You’re really gonna do this? He pretends to pump his wrestling boots, hits the ropes, brushes his shoulder off, and hits the 5-KNUCKLE SHUFFLE! The crowd starts to turn on Tiger Mask VI after that, so he covers quickly: 1, 2, T…NO! A stronger kick out leaves TM scratching his head. TM goes back to the mat, and pulls Pegasus Kid II up like a sack of potatoes. He goes behind, and it’s CRAZY, HAPPY GERMAN TIME for Tiger Mask VI this time! 5 Germans are sufficient for TM, and he has to haul PK up again. He’s got PK up, and his arm across his shoulders from the front. Rock Bottom time? That looks like that’s what this is. He picks up PK and looks to put it away…but Pegasus Kid II REVERSES INTO THE CROSSFACE CRIPPLER! Awesome Spot. Crowd is no longer happy.
And Tiger Mask VI is not yet tappy, but PK has the CROSSFACE locked in incredibly well; it’s just a question as to how much strength he’s got left. Ref slides in, and he’s asking if TM wants to tap, and obviously all PK is doing is screaming “TAAAAAAAAP!” at the top of his lungs. After a good minute and a half in the hold, TM shows great athleticism and manages to roll through, and all the way to the ropes for the break. Pegasus Kid II uses the most of the 5 count, until he is threatened with disqualification. That looks like it took a lot out of TM, and PK is still recovering from the insane assault Tiger Mask VI has put on him in this one. PK gets off his knees first, and goes over to TM, who is still struggling. PK helps to pull him to his feet and starts to BLISTER his chest with SICK Chops again. 4 is the magic number this time, and it looks like TM is out on his feet. PK moves to the side and wraps his arms around TM’s head…DIAMOND CUTTER? Hmm. Big Diamond Cutter lands, and it looks like Tiger Mask VI’s days are numbered. The crowd is…unhappy. Another throat slash, and the crowd is now even more unhappy. Pegasus Kid II ascends the turnbuckle, and takes off…SWANDIVE HEATBUTT ONTO THE SHOULDER! Tiger Mask VI is probably dead, and it might be time to look for Tiger Mask VII. Pegasus Kid II eschews the cover, and goes to the corner where the props are. Oh, this will be in bad taste won’t it? Parents may want to have your kids leave the room. PK places the bible by TM’s head, and sets up and locks in the SHARPSHOOTER! This is IT! Ref slides in…and Tiger Mask VI REFUSES to TAP! He’s FIGHTING! Somehow, someway, he manages to kick off PK! Crowd goes BATSHIT! Undeterred, PK immediately jumps back on TM and locks on the CRIPPLER CROSSFACE! Nice image, Cross face next to the bible. The crowd, as you’d imagine, isn’t a big fan of this turn of events, and the trash starts to litter the ring again. This time, Tiger Mask VI just doesn’t have anything left, and has no choice but to tap. Ref calls for the bell.
WINNER in 28:37 by SUBMISSION…PEGASUS KID II!
The crowd is not amused, and they show their disapproval at the decision as Pegasus Kid II’s hand is raised. PK grabs the bible from next to TM’s head, and goes over to the corner, picks up the phone, and apparently is sending text messages. He picks up the cord, and all of a sudden, the lights go out.
The lights come back on, and we see Pegasus Kid II hanging by the cord on one of the ring posts, with the bible on the floor in front of him. Half the crowd cheers, and half the crowd is disgusted. The lights go out again, and when they come back on, Pegasus Kid II is gone, and Tiger Mask VI is in the ring shaking his head and…smiling?
TYSON KINCAID & DONOVAN VIPER vs. STANK & CARL FROM FRESNO
Kincaid and Viper come to the ring first accompanied by Eric O’Mac, who for some reason appears sweaty, like he had just wrestled a match or something. Must be that legendary work out routine he has. Eric waits at the top of the ramp, sitting comfortably in a chair. The familiar Drink and Destroy music hits and Stank comes out to the top of the ramp, and points to the back, and Carl From Fresno comes out and joins his tag team partner. The two big men bump knuckles and make their way to the ring after Stank shoots a look of pure hate to Eric. They step between the ropes and are immediately attacked by Viper and Kincaid. Viper and Stank tumble between the ropes on one side, and Kincaid grabs Carl and throws him through the ropes on the opposite side and follows him to the outside. Outside the ring, Viper grabs a cord from the floor and whips Stank across the back repeatedly, driving the big man to his knees, then he loops the cord around his throat and tries to choke him into oblivion. On the other side of the ring, Kincaid charges at Carl, but Carl manages to elevate him, Kincaid somewhat saves himself by hitting Carl with a glancing drop kick to the side of the head, but at the same time, Carl swats Kincaid down, sending him crashing through the Portuguese Announce Table. Carl reaches into the wreckage and grabs Kincaid by the throat and tries to pull him from the wreckage, but Kincaid was playing a little bit of possum and he grabs Carl’s arm and locks him in the highly illegal Gogolpolotta! (the Undertaker’s submission finisher) Carl struggles to free himself as Kincaid chokes him out on his leg. Just when it looks like Carl is about out of it, he grabs a piece of broken table and repeatedly slams it down across Kincaid’s face. Kincaid breaks the hold and rolls out of the wreckage, while Carl coughs up some blood and tries to get his wind back. On the other side of the ring, Stank as fought to his feet and he grabs Viper by the throat while Viper still has the cord wrapped around his neck. The two men choke the life from one another, until Stank lands several clubbing blows to Viper’s face, then grabs the back of his head as he staggers a bit and repeatedly slams Viper in the face with head buts until the Intercontinental champion falls to the floor. Now Stank grabs the cord and whips Viper across the back, sending him scurrying around the ring howling with pain. As Viper gets to the wrecked table Carl turns around and sticks an arm out and clotheslines Viper to the floor. At the same time, Kincaid gets to his feet and slams a chair down across Carl’s back, sending him to the floor. Kincaid turns and catches Stank with a forearm to the side of the head, then drops him on the floor with a Judo take down, climbs to the apron and drops a knee across the big man’s chest. Kincaid pulls Stank to his feet and rolls him inside the ring. Kincaid connects with several stiff kicks to Stank’s face, then pulls him to the corner and hits a running face wash that sends Stank to the mat. Kincaid pulls Stank to the center of the ring and rolls him over into The Riot Act (Walls of Jericho). On the outside, Carl pulls Viper to his feet, hits an inverted atomic drop, then connects with a SHINING WIZARD! Sending Viper to the floor. Carl sees his partner is in trouble, so he rolls into the ring and bounds off the ropes and takes Kincaid to the mat with a bulldog. Sank slowly gets to his feet and he and Carl whip Kincaid to the ropes and catch him with a double choke slam, driving him to the mat. Stank covers, but Kincaid kicks out at two. Stank moves to the apron, finally making this an official tag match, but he is barely on the apron when Eric rushes to the ring, tosses his chain to Viper, and grabs a lead pipe from under the ring. Eric sneaks around behind Stank and BLASTS the former champ right in the knee. Stank falls off the apron and Eric keeps up the attack wailing on Stank’s knee, with Viper joining in on the assault. The two are about to break Stank’s leg when Davin Moreland (who also looks oddly winded like he has just recently wrestled) Crete and Firechild make the save. Inside the ring, Carl pulls Kincaid to his feet and tries a whip to the ropes, but Kincaid reverses it. As Carl hits the ropes, Viper jumps onto the apron and NAILS him with the Chain Assisted Death Elbow! Carl staggers forward and Kincaid catches him and drills him with the Fuck You Johnny Nitro! Kincaid covers and gets the one, two, three!
WINNERS in 14:07 – Tyson Kincaid & Donovan Viper
Before the Onslaught Championship Match between Firewoman and The Dead, a Randomly Numbered Sexy Female Journalist is at ringside.
SFJ: We are here at ringside with local wrestling sensation, Johnny Inagawa.
The camera pans back to show five well-dressed Japanese men. The one in the middle is Johnny Inagawa, along with four associates. Johnny is missing the tip of his right pinky finger.
SFJ: Mr. Inagawa, what brings you to Midweek Mayhem.
JI: I come to see some of the people I idolized when I was younger, first trying to break into wrestling. I think I’ve seen almost everyone on the roster, and even trained with a few when I first started.
SFJ: According to OOWF Management, you specifically asked for seats near Firewoman’s corner.
JI: Yes. Firewoman, or Akashi, as we called her, may claim to not remember, but we did wrestle before. It was a match that changed my life, in more ways than one.
The interview is cut short as the ring entrances begin.
There is a pause as the crowd waits to see if Firewoman made it back in time. Then, James Hetfield’s voice comes over the PA.
Gimme fuel!
Gimme fire!
Gimme that which I desire!
At the BOOM at the beginning of “Fuel,” two flamepots go off, followed by a wall of flame along the back of the stage with the opening guitar riff. When there is a break, Firewoman steps out on the stage, with her Onslaught belt over her head, to the cheers of the crowd. As she’s walking down the ramp, she spies Inagawa and his associates standing at ringside, clapping, but not exactly cheering. Firewoman barely registers their existence. As she gets to the ring, the men start to step forward, and she turns, half considering meeting them on the floor. However at that moment, Seamus McNasty and Damon Wrath come down the ramp. They walk to the ring and stand on either side of Firewoman. Johnny Inagawa smiles, and we can read his lips to say “five on three. Not enough.” Seamus smiles, and says, “I don’t think so.” As he does five other men appear from the crowd to stand on either side of the associates, Connor McNasty, Tom and Liam O’Toole, Sean Scott, and Rory O’Drawdy. Seamus and Damon smile. Inagawa and his associates sit down. Firewoman looks at Seamus and says loudly, “NO interference in the match.” Seamus nods, and communicates this to the rest of the Gaelic Storm, as Rory hops to the apron and holds the ropes open for Firewoman.
FIREWOMAN vs. THE DEAD – OOWF Onslaught Championship – Street Fight
The Dead is announced and makes his way to the ring, limping slightly on his ankle completely ignoring the boos of the fans. He roams around ring side tossing various plunder into the ring. Folks I have a feeling this one is going to get ugly. Firewoman grabs a can of plunder and tosses it into the ring. Inside the ring, Dead has a kendo stick in one hand and a long chain in the other. Fire makes her way to the ring and sets the can down and pulls out a barbed wire bat and a garbage can lid and rolls into the ring. The two of them slowly circle as the referee calls for the bell looking like two gladiators armed for combat. Dead swings the kendo stick but Fire blocks it with the garbage can lid, and swings the baseball bat for Dead’s midsection, he jumps back just narrowly avoiding the swipe. Fire throws the lid at Dead, just narrowly missing his head, then charges in with the bat, but Dead side steps and swings the chain, wrapping it around Fire’s foot, Dead pulls the chain and Fire goes down to the mat. She is barely on the canvas when Dead wears her out with kendo stick shots to the back. Fire fights to her knees, but a wicked kendo shot to the face sends her to the mat dazed. Dead pounces on fire and hammers her with short punches to the face. Fire covers up as best she can, and goes for Dead’s eyes. Dead backs off and lets Fire start to crawl away, then he grabs the barbed wire bat and blasts her in the back if the head with it. With Fire face down on the canvas, Dead pulls Fire into a camel clutch, then takes the barbed wire bat and rakes it repeatedly across her forehead until Fire’s face is a crimson mask. The fans in the front row turn away in horror as the Onslaught champion is bleeding buckets. Dead releases the hold and pulls Fire to her feet and throws her over the top rope to the floor and follows her to the outside. Dead pulls Fire off the floor and scoops her up and rams her back first into the steel ring post, then sets her sitting upright between the steps and the ring and gets a running start and knees her right in the face! Fire slowly crumbles to the floor clutching her face in agony. Dead smirks then grabs another chain from the apron and wraps it around Fire’s throat and pulls her to her feet, looping the chain around her neck, and tossing it over his shoulder. Dead leans over until Fire’s feet are off the floor, Fire claws desperately at her throat trying to pull the chain off as the blood spurts from her forehead from the pressure. Dead releases the hold and Fire falls to the floor gasping for air. Dead is not done yet. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a ladder and sets it up and starts climbing, but Fire recovers just enough to crawl over to the ladder and start rocking it back and forth. Dead tries to keep his balance, but Fire keeps rocking until Dead falls off and crotches himself on the guard rail! Dead howls in pain, and does not see the chair coming. Fire swings the chair with all her might and catches Dead square in the face, knocking him backward off the guard rail into the crowd. Fire hops the rail and produces a Jitte and hammers Dead repeatedly in the head with it until he is not moving and a pool of blood spreads around his head. Fire pulls the barely conscious Dead to his knees and tilts his head back and puts the Jitte at his throat and chokes him. Now it is Dead’s turn to have blood spurt from his forehead and onto the fans. Finally Fire releases Dead, but keeps him on his knees in front of her, grabs his arms and FIRESTOMPS him onto the concrete! Dead’s head hits the cement with a sickening thud, and this one should be over. Fire pulls Dead to his feet and drags him to the guard rail and flips him over to the floor. The jolt helps stir Dead and he struggles to get to his feet. As he does, Fire gets a running start and leaps onto the guard rail and dives at Dead, but Dead ducks and back drops Fire, sending her crashing into the standing ladder, then falling to the floor, landing awkwardly on the back of her head! The referee immediately checks on Fire, are we going to get another dreaded “X”? It doesn’t appear so, but both competitors are down on the floor and moving slowly. Dead rummages under the ring and pulls out a table and sets it on the guard rail and ring apron, then pulls Fire to her feet and hits a spinning elbow that catches her right on the temple. Dead rolls her onto the table and climbs into the ring and scales the turnbuckle. After steadying himself, Dead leaps with a perfect moonsault, however, Fire rolls off the table at the last second and Dead crashes through the table and slams onto the floor! The crowd erupts in a HOLY SHIT chant as Dead writhes in pain on the floor gasping for air. Fire pulls Dead off the floor and rolls him into the ring and stands him in the corner, then grabs the kendo stick and hammers a defenseless Dead in the side of the head, the ribs, the knees, anywhere she sees an opening, until Dead falls to the mat in pain. Dead looks up at Fire, and Fire connects with a shot to the face that echoes through out the arena. Fire falls to the mat next to Dead and rolls him over and covers, but somehow, amazingly Dead kicks out at two. Fire shows a little frustration, then pulls Dead to his feet and sets him up for a pile driver, but before she can hit the move, Dead stands up and KILLS Fire with an Alabama Slam that sends her crashing into the garbage can! Dead falls back to the mat and the referee starts the ten count. Both competitors drag themselves to the ropes and pull themselves up at nine, then stagger to the middle of the ring and trade shots. Somehow both stay on their feet, Dead swings wildly and misses, as he spins around, Fire steps in for the kill and grabs Dead and hits a side suplex, folding Dead up like an accordion. Fire gets to her feet and staggers for a moment, then grabs a chair and heads to the top rope. Fire gets to the top just as Dead struggles to his feet, and leaps, but Dead hits the CLOSE THE CASKET! Sending the chair back into Fire’s face with a sickening thud. Fire falls to the mat and her eyes roll back into her skull, Dead also falls to the mat, and somehow drags himself over to Fire and drapes an arm across her chest one, two, NO! Fire rolls her shoulder! Now Dead shows his frustration. He pulls Fire to her feet and hauls her up on his shoulders for a Death Valley Driver, but Fire slips off his shoulders and hits a backstabber! Dead writhes in pain and Fire gets to her feet and grabs the barbed wire bat and waits for Dead to get up, as he does, Fire swings and catches Dead in the midsection, then PLANTS him on the mat with a DDT. Fire pulls the barbed wire off the bat and wraps it around her arm and locks Dead in a dragon sleeper! The barbs dig into the side of Dead’s neck, causing little streams of blood to flow down his neck. Dead is trapped in the middle of the ring, but will not tap. The referee checks as Fire wrenches the hold in even tighter, finally Dead goes limp and the referee calls for the bell. Fire releases the hold and collapses to the mat, Dead rolls to the side of the ring and tries to regain consciousness.
WINNER in 19:54 and STILL OOWF Onslaught Champion – Firewoman
After the bell, Fire gets to her feet and turns, but Blitz is in the ring! He has the Onslaught title and he BLASTS Fire in the face with it! Fire falls to the mat, barely conscious. Blitz helps Dead to his feet and the two stare at each other for a moment, then Blitz pulls Fire to her feet and Dead POPS her with the Close the Casket! Fire is OUT! Dead and Blitz eye each other warily for a moment, then leave the ring quickly as Gaelic Storm charges the ring. They help Fire to her feet and she takes a few moments to collect herself, then glares at Dead and Blitz as they retreat to the back. Firewoman leaps out of the ring and walks straight up to Johnny Inagawa, who stands, along with his group. Gaelic Storm starts to walk up behind her, but Seamus raises his had to hold them up. Firewoman and Inagawa come eye to eye and stare… until Inagawa looks away first. Firewoman reaches her hand up and grabs his chin, bringing his eyes back to hers. They lock eyes again, although Inagawa is a little less comfortable than he was. She smiles that same smile from before, lightly taps his cheek, smearing the blood from the match on his face, almost as an afterthought. The mics barely pick up her words, “Next time, Johnny.” Firewoman turns to walk up the ramp. Inagawa wipes the blood that was still on her hand off his face and watches her leave, followed by Gaelic Storm. Inagawa and his men make for the exits, trying to maintain their cool.
