LD WILLIAMS vs. OUTBACK JACK – OOWF World Heavyweight Title Match
It’s time for our main event tonight and what a main event it should be. We’ve already seen OOWF crown their first ever Campeonas de Trios. We’ve seen some battles for the other titles as well tonight, but what everyone is about to witness will be something special. These two warriors have faced each other three times in the recent weeks and neither one has been able to get rid of the other. LD Williams has a win over Outback Jack, but it wasn’t enough to stop him from his chase of OOWF gold. Last week Outback Jack was able to pick up the win, but it was by count-out so Williams held onto his title. No one can predict what will happen between these two tonight. But let’s get it started. The lights start to flicker and AC/DC’s anthem “Thunderstruck” starts to play and Outback Jack steps out from the back accompanied by the rest of Drink and Destroy. Stank, Magnusson, and Hansen give Jack some last minute words of encouragement, some toasts, and some pats on the shoulder before they head back to the Destroyatorium. Jack makes his way down the aisle and into the ring as we await the introductions. And those will come once this man, the current OOWF World Heavyweight Champion LD Williams makes his way into the ring to the accompanying music of Petra’s “Jekyll & Hyde.” The crowd is very much in favor of Outback Jack but you can definitely hear pockets of support for the current champ. LD steps up on the apron and enters the ring and walks right up to Outback Jack and the two are nose-to-nose. Tonight’s ref, Davis Hightower, has to step in between to separate them in order for the introductions to be made.
John Buffer, the other other Buffer, steps to the center of the ring and begins.
In the corner to my left is the challenger. He represents Drink & Destroy. Hailing from The Land Down Under, Australia. Weighing in at 275 pounds at 6 foot 4 inches tall…He Is OUTBACK JACK.
The crowd cheers wildly.
And now for the man to my right; he is the current OOWF World Heavyweight Champion. He represents himself and in doing so represents LJ Bennett. He hails from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and weighs in tonight at 235 pounds. Standing 6 foot 2 inches tall, he is LD WILLIAMS.
The crowd mostly boos, but there is support here in Indonesia for the current champ. Davis Hightower calls both men to the center of the ring and he goes over the rules for this championship match. Jack and Williams look immensely focused and continue to keep their eyes locked on one another. There’s a handshake between the two combatants as they separate to their respective corners and Hightower calls for the bell. We’re underway here in Jakarta, Indonesia.
They lock up and within seconds, move after move are attempted and then countered. These two have had some epic battles in the past and both know each others’ strengths and weaknesses. That is why neither man is able to gain an advantage in this match; they know each other so well. About five minutes into the match LD Williams catches Outback Jack with a knee to the stomach quickly followed by some double axe handles to the back. He pounds OBJ to the mat and quickly drops down and locks in a real side headlock. He’s really wrenching it in and OBJ is grimacing. Outback finds a reserve and rolls LD over and gets a flash two count before Williams is able to roll it back. That seems to have surprised him and LD is really pulling back now on OBJ. Jack is in pain, but again he rolls Williams over, but Williams rolls with him and the two men wind up in the ropes. Davis starts his 5 count and Williams takes every second before letting go. He does release at the count of five and drags Jack towards the corner. He heads up to the second and goes for the knee drop, but OBJ rolls towards the corner and causes Williams to miss.
OBJ gets to his feet and picks up Williams. He tosses him into the corner and STOMPS A MUDHOLE in LD. He’s got LDW down and drags him to the center of the ring. He bounces off the ropes…HOLLYWOOD HOGAN LEGDROP. He goes for the cover, but Williams is having none of that and kicks out after a 1 count only. Jack doesn’t let up as he picks LD up, snap mare, and a nasty kick to LD’s spine. He’s got LD sitting in the center of the ring and runs off the ropes and somersaults right into LD Williams’ mug. That’s gotta smart. Jack stays on the attack and attempts to pick up Williams, but he uses some leverage and winds up getting Outback into a small package. Hightower gets a two count before OBJ kicks out. Both men get up to their feet and the crowd is going nuts as this has been a very good mat-based match in the first 10 or so minutes. Williams and Jack don’t look happy though and they both seem to say fuck it as they meet in the center of the ring and start trading punches. A right from Williams, a left from Jack, another left from Jack…a right from Williams, a left for Williams, another left for Williams…now a right, left, right quick combo by Jack and it staggers LD. Jack pushes Williams towards the ropes, but he drops down and grabs OBJ’s tights and tosses him out of the ring.
Williams waits for Jack to get to his feet on the outside and SLINGSHOT PLANCHA by LD. What a move by our champion. He’s back on his feet and that gets a cheer by this crowd who may not like Williams’ decision-making abilities, but they sure do respect the fuck out of his talent. He gives a mock bow as he kicks OBJ. He reaches down to pick up Jack by the hair and attempts to whip him into the steel guardrail. But Jack reverses and attempts to send Williams…no, double reversal and Jack slams into the steel ring post instead. Hightower jumps down from the apron to check on Jack but he’s pushed out of the way by Williams who picks Jack up and places him on his shoulders…BATTERING RAM into the post…and the blood starts to pour from Outback. Williams doesn’t let go though as he turns around and drops Jack throat first across the barricade. He drags OBJ over towards the center of the ringside area and he hops up on the apron. He seems to be judging the distance and he goes for the CACTUS JACK ELBOW…but there’s no one home as Jack gets out of the way.
Outback wipes his face and he seems to realize that his hands are now wet. He looks at them and sees the blood and wipes it across his chest. Uh oh, we’ve seen that look from Jack before, I believe it’s time to get nasty here in Jakarta. OBJ reaches under the ring and pulls out a nice piece of bamboo. He walks over towards LD Williams and swings the bamboo reed as hard as he can across LD’s back. The contact is made and it echoes through the building here. Hightower can not let this continue though as OBJ is beating Williams down. He’s about to call for the bell when he covers his ear and seems to be listening to someone. He nods and gives the sign that this match is going to continue. Williams and Jack don’t notice this as LD’s back is now bleeding in spots from the strikes he was taking. Jack takes the bamboo and tosses it far into the stands as he reaches down and drags LD Williams up to his feet. He picks LD Williams up for a power bomb and he tosses him back first right into the guardrail. My god, Williams may be paralyzed and Davis Hightower is doing nothing to stop this. It looks like he got word from the back to let this match go…no count outs, no dq’s in this one folks.
The bloodied Jack has had enough of the outside for now and picks up the battered Williams and slides him into the ring. Jack takes a moment and soaks up the cheers of the crowd before he jumps up on the apron. As soon as he does, he’s is taken right back down to the outside as LD Williams kills Outback with a SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR. Both men are down on the outside as this has been a war already and we’re only about 25 minutes into this match. It takes a few moments for either man to begin stirring on the outside and as they do they start trading punches from their knees. Even with the blood loss, the beer-powered OBJ has a little bit more behind those punches and gains the advantage and gets to his feet first. Jack fakes a right and gets Williams leaning before he reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a roll of quarters with his left and clocks LD with a punch and the roll of change breaks apart and quarters go flying all over the place. Williams is staggered and OBJ spins him around…BOOMERANGE sends Williams crashing into the post. And to the shock of no one in the building, both men are bleeding badly. Williams is being held up by the post right now as OBJ stalks him.
Jack goes to reach for LD but somehow LD has enough in him to hit a mule kick right to OBJ’s midsection. Williams turns around and grabs Jack by the head, DDT on the outside. These two men are giving everything they have here. Both men are down once again as Hightower comes down to make sure both men can continue. He seems to get enough from both and this match is going to continue. LD crawls to the apron and uses that to drag himself to his feet, while OBJ does the same using the guardrail. The two men face each other and both smile…these are two sick, violent bastards as they seem to be enjoying themselves here. Outback Jack charges and Williams doesn’t move, he just bends over and goes to back body drop Jack but he’s standing on next to the apron…oh this won’t be pretty. Jack winds up in headstand position using the ropes to balance himself, but KNIFE HAND CHOP from Williams brings him down right onto LD’s shoulder and in one awesomely fluid motion…DAVEY BOY SMITH RUNNING POWERSLAM on the outside.
Williams jumps to his feet and is getting his second, third, or fourth wind here. He picks up OBJ and finally tosses him back in the ring. LD Williams follows him in and picks him up…URANGE. Williams makes the cover.
1…
2…
No, OBJ kicks out before the 3.
Williams refuses to get frustrated and picks up OBJ once again. Whip into the corner and he follows Jack in with a clothesline. Across the ring and he does it a second time. He whips Jack for a third and attempts another clothesline, but OBJ barely gets his feet up and connects with the rushing Williams. LD staggers back and OBJ explodes out of the corner, but LD Williams is even quicker; MAIN EVENT SPINEBUSTER w/AUTHORITY. He keeps his hand on Outback Jack…Hightower slides in for the pin fall attempt.
1…
2…
No, OBJ rolls a shoulder before Davis connects with the mat for a third time. LD Williams is a man of many talents though as he rolls with OBJ and hooks the leg and grabs OBJ around the neck area…STF by the champ…fuck you John Cena…this is how you do a STF.
Jack is in trouble. Williams has this locked in and we’re in the center of the ring. He is really pulling back and OBJ is really struggling to make his way towards the ropes. LD is trying to keep the move locked in while at the same time not allowing OBK anywhere near the ropes. He’s having a tough time though, but Jack is really struggling right now. You can see the pain etched on his face. But NO ONE has ever been in LD Williams STF for this amount of time and not given up. Jack looks like he’s about to tap…he’s seconds away…NO, with one last Herculean surge of strength he grabs a hold of the bottom rope. Davis starts the count…

3…
4…
And Williams finally lets go of the STF. And now we can see that he is frustrated that he can not put Jack away even after 40 plus minutes of war. He doesn’t really let it stop him as he goes over to Jack who is trying to pull himself up using the ropes but his leg gives out and he falls back down to the mat. LD backs off for a second as Hightower checks on Jack and makes sure he can continue. OBJ pushes the ref away and that’s enough for Williams to pounce and really go to work on the leg. Spinning toe hold by Williams. And still Outback refuses to tap. Old-school Boston Crab and still Jack refuses to say I quit. Williams has no idea what else to do at this point.
He drags Jack to the center of the ring…SCHOOLBOY by Outback Jack. Only gets two. Williams charges Jack, but OBJ sweeps the leg and gets to his feet. He circles around and is clearing his head as he waits for LD to get to his feet and as soon as he does and turns around…CHOMP…that’s it…this could be it. Jack falls on top of Williams…Davis gets down for the count…
ONE…
TWO…
THR….no, my god LD Williams kicks out. How the hell does LD Williams find it in himself to get his shoulder up there. This match has been epic and we’re now 50 minutes into it. Jack gets to his feet first and a second later LD Williams is up and for the fifth or sixth time tonight these two just start trading punches. Jack’s blood loss is having an effect though as this time Williams gains the upper hand. He gets Jack bent over and what is he signaling for…
HOLY FUCKING SHIT…
CANADIAN DESTROYER…
Outback Jack is dead…
Williams slowly crawls over and as he does so, we hear this over the sound system…
55 minutes expired, 5 minutes remain.
Williams makes his way over and gets on top of Outback Jack. This match should be over…
1…
2…
and no…Hightower stops the count…why would Davis stop the…oh lord, what ring awareness by Outback Jack. He got his left leg grazing the bottom rope. Wow, this entire arena thought that was it. LD Williams is going to try and not let the fact that the first time he busts out the Canadian Destroyer here in the OOWF still wasn’t enough to pull out the win. He goes and picks OBJ up and sets him up for the DDT. Outback fights out of it and gets LD Williams up on his shoulders…F5 by Outback Jack…is this enough…he crawls over for the pin.
1…
2…
And not quite as Williams barely kicks out.
57 minutes elapsed, 3 minutes remain.
Jack realizes we’re getting down near the end and is going to have to leave nothing in the tank. He reaches down to grab LD…INSIDE CRADLE…1…2…no. Outback Jack escapes. He gives a kick to LD Williams to make sure that doesn’t happen again. He picks Williams up and places him on the top turnbuckle. He drags him out a little bit off the top so he’s parallel to the mat. TOWER OF LONDON by Jack…He makes the cover…
1…
2…
And no, Davis stops counting and points to the rope again. This time it was LD Williams barely surviving using the bottom rope. These two are throwing everything but the kitchen sink…actually if these two can find a kitchen sick, that’d have been used to.
59 minutes elapsed, 1 minute remains.
OBJ knows he’s got two enemies now. LD Williams and the clock if he wants to walk out of Indonesia as the champ. He picks up LD Williams and out of nowhere LD turns the tide and slams Jack down with ANGEL’S WINGS…that could be it…
1…
2…
Holy fuck, how did Jack kick out of that…
30 seconds remain, 30 seconds…
Williams hears the time-keeper, but he’s a fighting champ and doesn’t play it easy here as he goes to pick up Jack. OBJ seems to realize it’s now or never and starts throwing bombs at LD. Williams is trying to protect himself but these shots have some power behind them. LD backs against the ropes and Jack whips him across the ring…LARIATOOOOOO from Jack. He quickly reaches down…
15 seconds remain, 15 seconds…
Outback Jack gets LD Williams back to his feet and sends him to the ropes again, but this he follows and he winds up chasing Williams…BOOMERANG with AUTHORITY sends Williams flying across and out to the floor…NOOOOOOOO…
10 seconds remain, 10 seconds…
Jack rushes across the ring and reaches to the outside and starts trying to drag Williams in the ring, but he’s basically dead weight at this point.
5 seconds remain, 5 seconds…
Outback finally drags Williams all the way to his feet and into the ring. He gets on top and makes the cover…this is it…
ONE…
DING DING DING…
Outback Jack looks at Davis Hightower who shakes his head a bit sadly before Davis walks over to John Buffer…
After 60 grueling minutes, the time limit has expired. Davis Hightower is ruling this match a draw. Still your OOWF World Heavyweight Champion; LD WILLIAMS.
Outback Jack just falls back to the mat in frustration as LD Williams is barely getting to his feet. He grabs the belt from Hightower and is about to exit the ring when he stops and walks over towards Jack…he holds out his hand. Outback takes it and gets helped to his feet. Williams shakes his hand and we see him mouth the words, “Anytime you want a shot…” Outback Jack just nods.
WINNER…60-Minute Time Limit Draw…Still OOWF World Champion…LD Williams.
