OOWF MidWeek Mayhem
Live! From Iqaluit, Nunavut Canada
DH MAGNUSSON & CHRIS EVANS vs. BEER BARON & ECOSYSTEMBeer Baron and Ecosystem make their way to the ring to a nice ovation from the crowd. This first time tag team goes over a few last minute details in their corner, then Beer steps out of the ring so Eco can start the match. Chris Evans and DH Magnusson are announced next, after their recent differences, you have to wonder how they are going to co-exist as a tag team. They head to the ring and clearly seem to be arguing about something. They step between the ropes and Magnusson yells at Evans that HE is starting the match. Evans looks annoyed, but steps onto the apron anyway. The referee calls for the bell and we are underway. Magnusson and Eco circle then lock up. DH uses his strength advantage to push Eco back into the corner, but when he tries a clubbing shot to the chest, Eco moves out of the way before he can land it, using his speed to slip behind DH and connect with a drop kick to the jaw when Magnusson turns around, sending him to the mat in the corner. Magnusson grabs his jaw and gets to his feet slowly, glaring at Eco the whole time. DH moves to the middle of the ring and they lock up again, this time DH rakes the eyes, catches Eco with a knee to the gut, then takes him to the mat with a hard gut wrench suplex. DH bounds off the ropes and drops an elbow across Eco’s chest, then drags him to the corner and shoves him against the turnbuckles and tags in Chris Evans. Evans comes in and catches Eco with several kicks to the midsection, then sends him to the ropes and drops to the mat, Eco steps over him and rebounds off the ropes, and Evans catches him with a PERFECT dropkick to the jaw that sends Eco to the mat. Evans hooks a half nelson and rolls Eco over for the pin, but can only get a two count. Evans waits for Eco to get to his knees, then BLASTS him with a shining wizard and makes another cover, but once again only gets a two count. Eco desperately needs to make a tag here. Evans pulls Eco to his feet and goozles him, then drops him across his knee, then slams him to the mat with a Stroke. Evans covers again, but once again Eco kicks out. Magnusson yells for the tag and Evans reaches out and tags him in. Magnusson measures Eco and nearly takes his head off with a clothesline. Mags looks pretty confident, and scoops Eco up for a slam, but Eco holds on and rolls Magnusson into a small package for a two count! DH springs to his feet and tries a big boot to Eco’s head, but Eco drops to the mat and sweeps Magnusson’s leg from beneath him. Eco tries to get to his corner, but Magnusson grabs his foot and stops him. DH slowly gets to his feet, keeping hold of Eco’s foot. Both men are up, and Magnusson threatens to kill him with a shot to the head, Eco uses his other foot to push off of Magnusson, doing a back flip and landing on his feet, then PASTING Magnusson with a superkick! DH falls to the mat, Eco lunges toward his corner and finally makes the tag to Beer Baron. Beer charges into the ring and ducks a clothesline from Magnusson and DROPS him with a jaw breaker. Evans charges into the ring and tries a clothesline as well, but Beer ducks it and hits an atomic drop that sends Evans over the top rope to the floor. Beer pulls Magnusson to his feet and sends him to the ropes, but DH holds onto the top rope. Baron charges, but DH backdrops him over the top rope to the apron. DH turns around and Beer grabs his head and guillotines him on the top rope, then ducks a superkick from Evans and hits him with a release German suplex on the floor! Evans lands on the back of his head and does not move. Baron slips back into the ring and pulls Magnusson to his feet and scoops him up and slams him on the mat and tags in Eco. Eco heads to the top rope and hits a sweet moonsault, hooks the leg and gets one, two, thre….NO! Somehow Evans recovered enough to reach into the ring and pull Eco off of Magnusson. Eco waits for Magnusson to get to his feet, then charges at him and tries a Thesz press, but Magnusson hot shots him on the top rope. DH pulls Eco to his feet and tags in Evans. DH holds him and tells Evans to hit a super kick. This never works, in fact, Evans says that very thing, but DH insists. So Evans winds up and throws a superkick, but predictably Eco moves. Evans stops short of Magnusson though, even though he is stunned by it. The two of them argue for a moment about it, meanwhile Eco makes the tag to Baron. Beer Baron charges across the ring and slams into Evans from behind and he and Magnusson bump heads. DH falls out of the ring to the floor. Baron pulls Evans up and hits the DRUNKEN DRIVER! He covers, one, two, THREE! Magnusson is just a second too late to break the pin up.
WINNERS in 13:31 – Beer Baron & EcosystemAfter the match DH Magnusson and Chris Evans argue, it gets heated, but finally Evans just shakes his head, waves Magnusson off and leaves the ring and heads to the back
FIREWOMAN vs. THE AMNESIAC“I Can’t Remember” plays and The Amnesiac makes his way to the ring without his IHOP brothers, who are presumably getting ready for their shot at the OOWF world tag team titles later tonight. He steps between the ropes and poses on the top rope getting a nice pop from the crowd. The Amnesiac hops off the ropes and paces the ring waiting for his opponent. “Firewoman” plays and Fire makes her way to the ring, with just Lucky accompanying her this week. Fire slides between the ropes and glares at The Amnesiac. The referee calls for the bell and this one is underway! The two meet in the center of the ring and lock up, and Fire immediately grabs a side head lock, but The Amnesiac shoves her to the ropes. TA falls to the mat and TA drops to the mat, Fire steps over him and hits the ropes again, TA is up and leap frogs over Fire on the rebound. As Fire comes off the ropes again, The Amnesiac tries a hip toss, but Fire blocks it and reverses it into a backslide for a one count. The Amnesiac spins to his feet but Fire sweeps his legs taking him right back to the mat. Before TA can get back to his feet, Fire grabs his legs and lands several stiff kicks to both hamstrings, then tries a sharpshooter, but TA uses his legs to shove Fire to the ropes and catches her with a monkey flip on the rebound, but Fire lands on her feet and waits for TA to get up, then catches him with a drop kick right between the eyes. TA staggers backward and hits the ropes and Fire catches him on the rebound and takes him to the mat with a deep arm drag, then holds onto the arm and keeps him down. This display gets Fire a nice round of applause from the crowd. The Amnesiac slowly works his way to his feet and catches Fire with a knee to the midsection, then DRIVES her to the mat with a scissor kick to the back of the head. Fire hits the mat a bit stunned, and TA grabs her arms and hooks her legs and pulls her back into a surfboard, careful to keep his shoulders off the mat. Fire grunts in pain and snarls at the referee when he asks her if she wants to quit. Finally after several agonizing minutes The Amnesiac releases the hold letting Fire fall to the mat. Fire rolls out of the ring and tries to get the feeling back in her arms, then hops onto the apron where TA hooks her and tries a suplex, but Fire reverses it and lands behind him, rolls him up, rolls through, then hits a bridging German suplex for a two count. The Amnesiac grabs the back of his head and slowly gets to his feet, Fire tries a spinning heel kick, but TA ducks, goozles her, and CHOKESLAMS her to the mat! The Amnesiac covers, but Fire kicks out at two. The Amnesiac heads to the top rope and waits for Fire to get to her feet, then soars through the air with an OLD SCHOOL CROSS BODY! But Fire rolls through the move, then flips TA over and hits a FIRESTOMP! Fire flips a stunned Amnesiac back over and heads to the top rope and hits a perfect FIRESAULT! And gets the one, two, three!
WINNER in 8:31 - Firewoman
COWBOY UP vs. RUN DEA“Look What the Cat Dragged In” comes up over the sound system, and Zane Myers and Chad Madison, aboard Skip (of course), and make their way down the ramp to the vociferous approval of the crowd. Chad ties Skip to one of the ring posts and Zane signs autographs for his Zaniacs at ringside. After quite some time, the two make their way into the ring with a big roar of approval from the Nunavut crowd. Fall River's Own Angelo Barros watches with amusement as the two reciprocate their approval for the crowd. Suddenly, the music changes and is replaced with “Killing in the Name Of”. In a reversal of recent weeks, Davin Moreland and Alexander Darling appear at the top of the ramp to a strong negative reaction; probably due to the Old-School 80's Uber-faciness of the other team. Davin appears a bit taken aback, but Alexander seems to be taking it in stride as they get to the ring. They climb in in a no-nonsense fashion and wait for Barros to ring the bell. Davin and Darling seem to have put their differences aside for this week, and will function as a team. He does so, and WE'RE UNDERWAY!
The two teams talk amongst themselves for a bit, and decide who will go first. They decide, and it appears Alexander Darling will face off with Zane Myers first. Good, finally. Chad and Davin make their way to the apron, and Alex and Zane lock up. The much bigger Zane has his way and shoves Alex into a corner. After Barros' urging, Zane is nice enough to give the clean break. Darling rewards him with a kick to the stomach. He follows that up with a kick to the face, and a lightning-quick second rope flying elbow which connects to Zane's temple. Zane drops to a knee. Darling slips out to the apron and hits a Slingshot Leg drop to the back of Zane's head. Darling rolls him over and covers; enough to get a 2 count. Darling regroups and pulls up Zane and locks him in, looking for a potential Brain buster attempt, but Zane is able to reverse and get Darling on his shoulders in position for the Torture Rack! Darling slips out the back and tries to get away, but Zane catches him and destroys him with a Gut wrench Suplex! Zane takes a knee for a minute to recover as the ring shakes after that impact. Zane re-gathers himself and stalks after Darling, who has regained his senses enough to try to get across the ring to a waiting Davin. Zane is able to cut Darling off however, and rip-off a sick Under hook Suplex toward his own corner. He tags in Madison. Madison climbs to the top rope and Myers gets Darling on his shoulders. Madison takes off and SPEARS Darling off of Zane's shoulders. Madison scrambles back and covers, but can only get a 2 count.
Madison runs to the near ropes and hits a tight Springboard Moonsault and tries to cover again, but he can again only get a 2 count. Madison pulls Darling up and chops him all the way to the corner. He takes a step back and jumps, trying to snap off a Hurricarana, but Darling has the where-with-all to hold Madison's feet, and reverses it into a Sit-Out Power bomb. Both men are down, and Barros is counting. At 6, Darling is up and is crawling across the ring desperate to make a tag. At 7, Madison is doing the same thing, although he doesn't have as far to go. Darling dives and makes the tag to Davin who makes a beeline not for Madison, but for Myers, and clubs him off the apron with a forearm just as Madison was diving for a tag. Davin deftly scoops up Madison and drops him on the top rope via his throat. Davin catches Madison off the rebound and Choke slams him to the mat. Davin eyes his corner to see Darling's status, and decides it's time for some fun while he's waiting. He locks in Madison and DESTROYS him with a Hellevator! Instead of covering, Davin locks on a Sharpshooter, and drags himself over near his corner. Meanwhile, Madison is just howling in pain and trying to get to a rope. Finally, it looks like Darling is ready to go, and Davin tags him in, breaking the hold. Just eye contact between the two, and Darling pulls Madison up as Davin runs the ropes. This could be it folks! They go for the Darling Driver Diamond Cutter, but from behind, Darling eats a desperate Missile Dropkick from Myers in the back of the head!
Davin ends up hitting an Honestly Not Very Good At All Considering The Source Diamond Cutter on Darling as a result, felling him. Myers tries to cover Darling, the legal man, but Davin breaks it up. Barros requests very nicely that Davin return to his corner and he does so as Myers drags Madison out of harm's way. Myers rushes back to Darling, but Darling greets him with a DARLING DRIVER and consequently drops to the mat. Barros counts again, and both men again are trying to crawl to their corners. Darling gets to Davin first, and he charges across the ring to get Myers and bends over to pull him up. Out of nowhere, Madison comes off the top rope with a Somersault Leg drop! Davin saw it at the last second (presumably) and dives backward out of the way as Madison's Leg drop connects with the back of Myers' head. Davin PRESS SLAMS Madison out of the ring and pulls Myers up to his feet. REALLY GOOD DIAMOND CUTTER On Myers. That's it.
WINNERS in 14:21 by PINFALL...Davin Moreland and Alexander Darling!Post-match, Darling comes in to celebrate with Davin and they head back up the ramp; but Davin keeps turning and staring back into the ring as if he's looking for something.
KZ vs. THE HEROES GUILD"Bulletproof" Bryce Larson and Nayr the Halfling Luchadore come to the ring first and, while they greet some fans on the way, the Heroes look extremely focused tonight. They slide into the ring and warm up until kz step onto the stage. Moosehead Jack and L.D. Williams stalk to the ring with murder in their eyes, and as they approach ringside, Bryce runs toward the ropes. kz dive out of the way, but Bryce spins between the top and middle ropes back into the ring, and Nayr sprints across the ring behind him. Bryce vaults Nayr over the ropes, and he spears Williams, driving him part way up the aisle. Moose turns to help his partner, but Bryce slingshots off the top rope and does an SSP into a double ax handle and takes him down.
Bryce lands astride Moose and drops to his knees and starts driving elbows into the back of his head. He pulls Moose to his feet and nails him with cross faces, and Moose is...smiling? Moose grabs Bryce's legs and lefts him into a piggyback, then rams him back into the apron. Moose tries to ram Bryce's head into the ring post, but Bryce puts on the brakes and Moose's momentum carries him face-first into the steel. Moose drops to his knees as blood starts to trickle from a cut on his forehead.
In the aisle, Williams and Nayr both get slowly to their feet. Williams lunges and Nayr ducks, sweeping Williams legs and sending him face-first into the railing. Williams comes up bleeding and Nayr continues his attack.
Russ: "Two men are bleeding in a kz vs. The Heroes Guild match, and neither is one of the Heroes!"
Razz: "Watch for falling sky, folks."Nayr whips Williams hard into the apron and sprints after him, but Williams ducks a shoulder and backdrops Nayr into the ropes, turns, catches him on his shoulder, and plants Nayr on the floor with a powerslam. Williams scrapes Nayr up and snaps him over with a suplex, then stomps on him until Bryce, having shoved Moose into the ring, hits a baseball slide dropkick that catches Williams in the face. With Moose and Bryce both in the ring, Referee Junior Hale calls for the bell and we're finally underway.
Bryce turns back to Moose and eats a right hand for his trouble. Moose sends Bryce to the ropes and kills him with a lariat, then mounts him and starts pummeling him with punches. Junior complains about the closed fist and Moose throws him a look of death, glaring straight at the referee as he starts throwing elbows instead. Nayr, still dazed, crawls onto the apron and sees his partner in trouble, so he springboards off the top rope and dropkicks Moose in the back of the head. Nayr drags himself to his feet and turns around into a boot to the face from Williams. Williams lifts Nayr for a double under hook suplex and rams his sternum into the turnbuckles and drops him on the top rope. Williams nails Nayr with a left hook that nearly knocks him off the turnbuckles, and turns to Moose, who is just getting to his feet. kz grab Bryce and send him to the ropes, and plant him with a brutal flap jack. Williams rolls out to the apron and heads for Nayr as Moose covers Bryce. Junior gets in position and counts, but Bryce rolls a shoulder just before three. Junior springs to his feet and runs to the corner, yelling at Williams, who's trying to position Nayr for an inverted DDT from the ropes to the floor. Williams releases Nayr to argue with Junior, and Nayr drops, his legs tangled in the ropes and his head clanging off the ring post. The argument between Williams and Junior gets heated, and Moose comes over to join in, allowing Bryce to sneak behind him and roll him up for two. Moose kicks out and sends Bryce staggering into a left hand from Williams, who reaches out and tags himself in.
Williams enters the ring and kicks Bryce in the face, then follows up with a knee to the temple. He covers, grinding his forearm into Bryce's face, but Bryce kicks out at two. Williams snarls and drags Bryce off the mat, shoving him into the corner. He goes to town with punches and kicks, then hauls Bryce out of the corner and into a knee to the gut. Bryce does a 360 and slams into the mat, and Williams mounts him and starts throwing punches. Junior moves to intervene, but is distracted by Moose going after Nayr, who's still dangling upside down. Junior orders Moose to his corner and tries to help Nayr. As soon as his back is turned, Moose slips into the ring. Williams spins Bryce around and grabs him from behind pinning one arm and trapping the other in a half-nelson. Moose winds up and hits the heart punch, and Williams takes Bryce over with a suplex into a bridge. Moose rolls out of the ring and waits for the count, but it doesn't come since Junior is still busy with Nayr. Williams releases Bryce and spins Junior around to have words with him, and Moose comes in to add his two cents as well. While they argue, Nayr manages to free himself and stands on the top turnbuckle. As the crowd roars it's approval, Nayr leaps over Junior and levels kz with a split-legged dropkick! Moose rolls out to the floor and Nayr grabs Williams - Sliced Bread #2! Nayr heads to the apron and Bryce covers. Junior counts One...Two...Thr - Moose grabs Bryce and drags him out of the ring. Moose hits an inverted atomic drop on Bryce, then DDT's him with a clang. Who put the ring bell there? Nayr sprints across the ring and dives, but Moose sees him coming and sidesteps, holding out the ring bell so that Nayr collides with it head first. Shockingly, Junior misses both clangs while checking on Williams. Moose stuffs Bryce under the ropes and Williams drags him to his feet and hits a DDT. Williams covers, hooking both legs, and Junior counts One...Two...Three.
WINNERS in 17:46, kz.After the match: Williams rolls out of the ring and kz back up the aisle, raising their arms in victory, but in obvious pain, as Concrete TG comes out of the crowd to check on his fellow Heroes. Moose looks around the crowd, and then finally seems to spot what he is looking for. The large masked man is sitting in the crowd again, he slowly turns and looks at Moose, then tilts his head and once again shakes with silent laughter. Moose snarls and starts toward the crowd, but LD grabs him and pulls him up the ramp to the back.
THIM REYNOLDS vs. CONCRETE TG – OOWF Onslaught Championship MatchThim remains on a roll and picks up the win. Match to be added later.
THE CHICKENSHIT HEELS vs. IHOP – OOWF World Tag Team Title MatchThe International House of Pain, SYB and Skurge make their way to the ring tonight, they appear to be all business tonight. None of the usual entourage or silliness. They step between the ropes, for what has to be their first title shot in a long time. SYB doesn’t argue or protest, he heads to the corner and steps between the ropes to the apron and lets Skurge start the match. There is a pause after that as The Chickenshit Heels music plays, but there are no Chickenshit Heels. Finally after a long delay, two masked men, dressed completely in black suits, and black and white masks come to the top of the ramp holding the OOWF World tag team titles. The smaller of the two speaks.

The……..interim OOWF World Tag Team champions, Mierda Del Pollo Rudos are announced and they make their way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the crowd. MDPR look at IHOP and taunt them and let everyone know that this is going to be an easy match. Skurge stares daggers from inside the ring, while SYB is trying hard to maintain his composure on the apron. The referee holds the titles up in the air and this match is ready to start. As Skurge turns to say something to SYB, MDPR2 charges across the ring trying to attack from behind, but Skurge sees him and POPS him in the mouth with a superkick! MDPR2 hits the mat like he had been shot and Skurge falls on him and covers, one, two, thre…NO! MDPR 1 desperately runs into the ring and breaks up the pin just before the three count! MDPR2 gets to his knees and tries to crawl across the ring to make the tag, but Skurge bounds off the ropes and catches him with a shining wizard that sends him to the mat once again. Skurge grabs MDPR2 by the leg and drags him back to the IHOP corner and tags in SYB. Skurge drops an elbow across MDPR2 ‘s chest, then SYB grabs the top rope and slingshots himself over the top rope and drops a leg across MDPR2’s chest. SYB looks momentarily shocked to see that the move worked, and he didn’t die. He covers MDPR2, but MDPR2 gets his foot on the bottom rope just before the three count. SYB pulls MDPR2 to his feet and sends him to the ropes and tries a drop kick, but MDPR2 hooks the top rope and SYB crashes and burns. MDPR2 staggers and falls forward, head butting SYB right in the crotch. SYB howls in pain, but it’s not like that is the first time he has had a man’s head in his crotch. MDPR2 slowly crawls to the corner and tags in MDPR1, MDPR1 comes in and charges across the ring, catching SYB with a boot to the back of the head, then nails Skurge with a forearm to the jaw that knocks him off the apron. MDPR1 turns around just as SYB is sitting up and catches him with a Mr. Perfect Neck breaker that snaps SYB’s head off the mat. MDPR1 pulls SYB to his feet and scoops him up and plants him on the mat with a slam, then climbs to the second rope and leaps, but SYB gets a boot up and catches him on the jaw. MDPR1 staggers around the ring and SYB gets to his feet and takes him down with a clothesline, then reaches out and tags in Skurge. SYB traps MDPR1 in an abdominal stretch and Skurge runs the ropes and catches MDPR1 with a knee to the side of the head. MDPR1 hits the mat and Skurge covers, but MDPR2 comes in and breaks it up before three. Skurge gets to his feet and unleashes some CANADIAN VIOLENCE on MDPR2, pummeling him with chops, backing him against the ropes, then clothes lining him over the top to the floor. Skurge turns around and sees MDPR1 charging and catches him with an inverted atomic drop, then tries to hit the ropes but MDPR2 sweeps his leg from the outside and Skurge hits the mat face first. MDPR1 tags in MDPR2 and he comes in and drops a knee across the back of Skurge’s face, then rubs his face on the mat! MAT BURN! Skurge grabs his face as MDPR2 drags him to the ropes and chokes him on the middle rope until the referee threatens disqualification. When he does, MDPR2 breaks and turns to argue with the referee, and MDPR1 comes over and chokes Skurge some more. MDPR2 turns back around and pulls Skurge off the ropes and scoops him up and slams him on the mat, then points to the corner! MDPR2 leaves the ring and SLOWLY (cause that’s what heels do) climb the ropes. He gets to the top rope and Skurge kips up to his feet, charges to the corner and grabs MDPR2, MDPR2 howls in protest and Skurge throws him off the top rope, sending him halfway across the ring. MDPR2 hits hard and grabs his back in pain. Skurge grabs him and pulls him to his feet and hits a trio of rolling German suplexes. After the last one, he pulls MDPR2 to his feet and hits a BRAINBUSTER in the middle of the ring. Skurge covers, but like clockwork, MDPR1 comes in and breaks it up. Skurge jumps to his feet, clearly fed up with the constant interference, grabs MDPR1 and LAUNCHES him over the top rope to the floor. Skurge tags in SYB and grabs MDPR2’s legs. He catapults him up and SYB hits the ropes and connects with the HEBREW HAMMER! MDPR2 is down! SYB covers and gets the one, two, thre…..WHAM! MDPR1 comes back into the ring and BLASTS SYB on the back of the head with the title! The referee immediately calls for the bell.

THE DEAD vs. SEAMUS MCNASTY – OOWF Intercontinental Title MatchSeamus McNasty steps onto the stage, shillelagh in hand, and stops, glaring at the crowd. The fans mixed reaction turns to silence as they notice the odd look in Seamus’ eyes. Suddenly Seamus cries out "faugh a ballaugh" and sprints to the ring, sliding under the ropes without slowing down. The fans in the first three rows on the opposite side of the ring scatter, but Seamus rebounds off the ropes and stops in the middle of the ring. Referee Mel Creech, having bailed to the floor, demands that he lose the shillelagh, and Seamus complies – Mel ducks just in time to avoid being brained. Mel picks up the shillelagh and puts it on the timekeeper's table as The Dead walks onto the stage. With the Intercontinental Championship draped over his shoulder, the champion strides to the ring, acknowledging the cheers of the fans on the way. He stops at ringside, holds the belt high, and starts into the ring, but Mel holds him back. Mel takes the belt and explains to Dead that he’s starting the match as soon as Dead gets into the ring. Dead nods and slowly climbs between the ropes as the bell rings.
Seamus storms across the ring and swings a monstrous haymaker, but Dead ducks it, darting behind him and nailing some punches to the kidneys. He grabs Seamus around the waist and rolls him up, and Mel dives in to make a quick two count. Both men roll to their feet and Seamus is fuming, but Dead smiles and offers a handshake. Seamus smiles himself and accepts, then yanks Dead forward and buries a knee in his stomach, then hooks him and hits a double arm DDT. He hooks the leg and gets a two count as well, and this time when they get up, Dead is the furious one. After a moment he smiles ruefully and shakes his head, then motions Seamus to the middle of the ring.
They circle and lock up, and Seamus backs Dead into the corner. He hits a brutal chop and Dead responds in kind. They go back and forth, and Dead gets the advantage, backing Seamus out of the corner and hitting a drop toehold that sends him face-first into the middle turnbuckle. Dead stomps on the back of his head, then goes to the ropes and hits a running knee to the side of his head. He hops onto the second turnbuckle, hooks Seamus, and plants him with a tornado DDT. He floats over and covers, but Seamus kicks out at two. Dead rolls to his feet and immediately drives an elbow into Seamus' throat, followed by two more. He covers, but again Seamus kicks out at two.
Dead pulls Seamus to his feet and goes for a suplex, but Seamus blocks. Dead tries again and Seamus reverses, pausing at the top of the move and turning it into a Jackhammer. He hooks the leg, but Dead kicks out at two. Seamus pulls Dead to his feet and Dead rocks him with a European uppercut. Dead tries to Close the Casket but Seamus dodges and levels him with a haymaker. Seamus stomps on Dead, then mounts him and starts throwing punches. After some hesitation, Mel counts, forcing Seamus to break at four. Seamus hauls Dead up and sends him to the ropes, but Dead springs to the second rope and hits a springboard DDT. He covers, and nearly gets three.
Dead is up first and tries to Close the Casket again, but Seamus catches it, traps the leg, and plants him with a suplex. He drags Dead up, sends him to the ropes, and hits the Irish Car Bomb, catching Dead with a drop toehold and floating over into a cross face. Dead is obvious pain, but refuses to give up. Seamus cinches the hold in tighter, and it looks like Dead is about to pass out, but just before Mel calls it Dead screams and lunges forward. Seamus looks shocked and struggles to hold him back, but Dead slowly drags them across the ring until he can grab the bottom rope. Mel counts and threatens disqualification, finally forcing him to release the hold.
Dead uses the ropes and drag himself to his feet. Seamus moves in with a series of body blows. He sends Dead across the ring, but Dead ducks a clothesline and comes back with a flying forearm that knocks Seamus into the ropes and topples him to the floor. Dead steps onto the apron, gets a running start, and nails Seamus with a shoulderblock as he gets up. Both men get slowly to their feet and Dead aims a kick at Seamus' face, sending him crashing into the timekeeper's table. Dead slides back into the ring and tries to clear his head as Mel counts. Seamus disentangles himself from the timekeeper and climbs onto the apron at nine. Dead moves in to attack, and Seamus pastes him with the shillelagh. Unfortunately for Seamus, Mel sees it and calls for the bell.
WINNER, and still Intercontinental Champion, in 12:37, The Dead. After the match: Seamus climbs into the ring to continue the attack, but Mel surprises even himself by grabbing his arm to stop him. Seamus turns and grabs Mel by the throat, but security floods the ring and pries him off before he kills him.
POE vs. SPIN HANSEN – OOWF World Heavyweight Title MatchSpin Hansen is announced and comes to the ring first. He doesn’t wave to the fans, he doesn’t do anything, he heads to the corner and takes a knee, deeply lost in thought. The OOWF World Heavyweight Champion Poe is announced and he makes his way to the ring with Selena at his side. Poe steps between the ropes and gives the OOWF world heavyweight title to Selena who holds it up and skips around the ring, then hands it to the referee and leaves the ring to take her spot at ringside. The referee also holds the title up and calls for the bell. As the bell rings, Spin gets to his feet in the corner and moves to the center of the ring to go nose to nose with Poe. The two of them stare at one another for a long time, then lock up. The two each grab a top wristlock and engage in a test of strength. They grunt like two bulls, but neither of them will give an inch. Finally Poe buries a knee into Spin’s midsection, doubling him over. Poe then grabs his head and slams him backward on the mat, driving the back of Spin’s head into the canvas. Poe connects with several hard stomps to Spin’s face, then pulls him to his feet and sends him to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a power slam. Poe doesn’t even cover, instead he pulls Spin to a sitting position and plants a knee between his shoulder blades and pulls Spins arms back. Spin grimaces in pain, and slowly works his way to his feet. Poe replaces the knee with his boot, and threatens to tear Spin’s arms off and beat him with them. Spin finally breaks the hold and spins around and tucks his head under Poe’s arm and takes him to the mat with a suplex, bridges and gets a once count.
