MidWeek Mayhem
LIVE! From Pedro’s Fireworks Emporium, in beautiful South of the Border, South Carolina!
Ross: Welcome, to MidWeek Mayhem! We are coming to you LIVE from beautiful South of the Border, South Carolina! Razz we have a tremendous lineup tonight, two title matches and the start of a tournament to crown a brand new Onslaught Champion!
Razz: This is going to be a great night of action; Donovan Viper begins the gauntlet to the cage tonight against Microplay! 3Piece Set defend their titles against FF Capslock & Stank! That’ll be a BRUTAL match, and we have the first round of the onslaught Championship tournament, Ross, what do you know about this title?
Ross: Well Razz, from what I understand is this, the title will be defended every week, the champion will lose the title if he intentionally disqualifies himself, for example using a foreign object or striking the referee, and the matches are going to be held to much stricter standards than the rest of the OOWF matches. I have heard many of the guys in the back refer to this as a “pure” wrestling championship.
Razz: Sounds great! Our first pairing of the night is a couple of guys who are real familiar with each other, Firechild, fresh off of revealing his alliance with 3Piece Set will take on AYUFF member Semaj B.
Ross: This is the third week in a row they have faced each other in the ring, the first two were classics, I am sorry to say that I have my doubts about this one though, since he aligned himself with 3Piece Set, Firechild has shown a mean streak that, quite frankly Razz, I didn’t think he had in him.
Razz: I didn’t think so either, but remember this, Semaj is no pushover, he has taken Moosehead Jack to the limit on several occasions, and remember as well, violence will not get you far in this tournament, you have to be able to wrestle to win here, and that’s where I think Semaj has the advantage.
Ross: Let’s head to the ring
ONSLAUGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – ROUND 1
FIRECHILD vs. SEMAJ B
Firechild comes out to a chorus of boos; Semaj waits for him in the ring. As Firechild slowly makes his way to the ring, around the ring, jawing with the crowd, slowly making his way up the ring steps, Semaj begins getting a bit impatient. Finally Semaj runs over and hip tosses FC into the ring, the ref rings the bell and we are on! Firechild springs to his feet; Semaj takes him down with a dropkick to the face. Semaj grabs an arm and locks on an arm bar. Firechild gets to his feet and pounds away with some forearms to the face, Semaj, tenacious like a bulldog, refuses to let go, instead he ducks his head under FC’s arm and takes him over to the mat. SB waits for FC to sit up, then Tajiri kicks him right in the mouth. The kick sends FC scurrying out of the ring. FC slowly gets back to the apron then back into the ring, they lock up again, this time FC grabs a side headlock and turns so the ref cannot see and pounds SB with closed fist punches to the face. The ref finally catches him and threatens disqualification. FC breaks the headlock and whips SB to the ropes, but drops his head a second too soon; Semaj leapfrogs over FC and bounds off the opposite ropes. Firechild catches SB, elevates him, and hits a solo 3D. FC covers, but SB kicks out at one. Now Firechild goes to work, stomping away on SB. Firechild grabs SB’s arm and pulls him to his feet, then takes him right back down with a clothesline, keeping hold of SB’s arm, FC yanks him right back to his feet, only to level him again with a clothesline. FC does this a few more times and goes for a cover; SB is able to kick out at two. FC whips SB to the corner, SB lands on the second rope and head fakes FC, Firechild drops to the mat, SB turns on the ropes and waits for FC to get to his feet, as he does, SB comes off the middle rope with an elbow that catches FC right between the eyes. SB covers and gets a two count. The two go back and forth for several minutes. SB finally gains control when he catches FC coming off the ropes and hits a Live and Let Die. Semaj almost gets a three count, but FC gets his foot on the bottom rope. Semaj has Firechild staggered, a series of forearms to the head backs FC to the ropes, Semaj attempts a whip to the ropes, FC reverses it. Semaj bounds off the ropes and FC lowers his head slightly and heat buts a charging Semaj! The head but catches Semaj right on the bridge of the nose and stuns him for a moment, blood pours from what is likely a broken nose, Firechild kicks SB in the midsection, grabs him and destroys him with the Wings of Phoenix. Cover, 1,2,3, Semaj cannot quite kick out.
WINNER in 11: 42 Firechild
Ross: That Firechild is one tough customer, I think that match could have gone either way, but I’ll tell you, that Wings of Phoenix finisher is going to win Firechild a lot of matches, I may not like the company he keeps, but he proved to me that he is certainly no pushover in the ring
Razz: No question Ross, Firechild has been a tough competitor since day one, now he knows he has backing, and he can let his true nature shine through, that is a dangerous combination Ross. Firechild can cause some havoc in this tournament.
Ross: Our next match seems like a bit of a mismatch, on one side you have JW Westgaard a seasoned vet who likes to brawl more than anything, and on the other, you have a relative newcomer in Uncle Entity, someone we have seen mostly in tag matches with Mercury, who do you see as having the advantage here Razz?
Razz: Well, I am going to have to go with Westgaard here, and that is not a slight to Entity in the least. Westgaard has been a singles competitor basically his whole career, as of late, Entity has performed in tag matches with Mercury as you said. When you become a regular in a tag team, it changes your pacing and stamina. You are used to being in the ring for a certain period of time, then tagging out to get your wind back. It will be interesting to see how well Uncle Entity is conditioned.
JW WESTGAARD vs. UNCLE ENTITY
Neither man makes it to the ring before the brawl starts in this one, Westgaard is on his way to the ring when he is blindsided by Entity, and the battle begins. They fight up and down the ramp, the ref is powerless to do anything, neither man has stepped into the ring, so it is not an official match yet. Westgaard gets the upper hand by ducking an Entity big boot and grabbing Entity from behind and hitting a stroke at the top of the ramp. Westgaard backs off for a moment, takes a few steps back and waits for Entity to get to his feet. As soon as he does, Westgaard charges and hits Entity with a cross check that sends him tumbling down the ramp. Westgaard helps him along with a few well-placed kicks. Entity finally stops at the bottom of the ramp. As Westgaard approaches, Entity grabs him by the pants and pulls him forward slamming JWW into the ring steps. Now it is Entity’s turn to punish Westgaard. UE lifts Westgaard and slams him to the floor, then slides into the ring (finally making it an official match) and climbs the ropes. UE waits perched on the top rope until JWW gets to his feet, then leaps and hits a Kane clothesline. Westgaard sprawls across the floor, but UE doesn’t fare a whole lot better, smacking his head on the steel guardrail. Finally both men make their way to their feet and break the ref’s ten count, then slide back outside. Both men are on the outside brawling, the ref threatens them both with disqualification. JWW slides back into the ring and pulls UE to the apron and tries to suplex him back into the ring, UE reverses out of it and rolls JWW up from behind, bridging and getting a two count. JWW is just able to kicks out before the ref counted the three. Both men quickly to their feet, Entity tries a clothesline, JWW ducks and grabs UE and drops him with a full nelson slam. Cover gets two as UE rolls his shoulder. JWW bounds off the ropes and drops a knee across UE’s chest, another two count. JWW pulls Entity to his feet and tries a whip to the ropes, UE reverses it and pulls Westgaard back to him for a belly to belly suplex, cover gets two, as JWW gets back to his feet, UE plants him with a DDT. Entity climbs the ropes and hits a swanton bomb, cover; JWW is able to just roll the shoulder at two. Uncle Entity takes control now, whipping JWW to the ropes and hitting a snap power slam. Another cover gets two. Entity climbs the ropes once again and waits for JWW to get to his feet, UE tries for a flying clothesline, JWW ducks and UE crashes to the mat. Now Westgaard waits for UE to get to his feet, as he does JWW hits the ropes and levels UE with a cross check. JWW pulls UE back to his feet and kicks him in the gut, then finishes him with the Ice Auger! Cover, the ref makes the three count
WINNER in 10:51 JW Westgaard
Ross: Wow! I never thought that one would get started Razz, I really thought the ref showed a lot of restraint in not throwing that match out before it ever officially began!
Razz: Well sometimes you have to show a bit of leniency, no matter what the rules, once they finally got to the ring, that was a helluva match, it would have been a shame for the ref to stop this one, and both men showed a lot of guts in this one.
Ross: So Westgaard moves on to fight Firechild next week, Razz I can not imagine the ring holding that one for long
Razz: That will be a fight, no question about it, the ref is really going to have to use his discretion there, it would not surprise me in the least to see a DQ in that one.
Ross: Next up is Entity’s partner Mercury against another relative newcomer, and one of the oddest men I have been around, Seraph, what do you make of this one Razz?
Razz: Well, Odd is right, there is something very disconcerting about Seraph, the man just shows NO emotions, you can beat on him all you want, and its like that expression never changes, I gotta be honest here, the guy kinda scares me.
Ross: Mercury is facing the same uphill battle that his partner Uncle Entity faced in his match, a tag wrestler going solo, I am going to take Seraph on this one, mostly because I am afraid not to.
SERAPH vs. MERCURY
Mercury goes on the offensive early, but Seraph is not fazed by his offense. Mercury tries chops to the chest and slaps to the face. One particular slap almost knocks Seraph off of his feet, but Seraph calmly regains his balance then calmly turns his head and looks at Mercury. Mercury tries another punch but Seraph blocks it and hits Mercury with a palm shot to the chest that knocks him to the mat. Seraph follows it with a tajiri kick to the face, then pulls Mercury to his feet, knees him in the midsection and hits him with an impossibly fast snap suplex. The whole time the serene look on his face remains unchanged. Mercury is already back peddling; a thumb to the eyes stops Seraph for a moment. Mercury hits the ropes and connects with a leg lariat that knocks Seraph off his feet. Mercury grabs Seraph’s legs and drops a knee to the groin, then ties Seraph up in the Alchemist (reverse Boston crab/camel clutch) Finally the look on Seraph’s face changes from serenity to a grimace of pain. Seraph fights it for several minutes refusing to give up, finally Mercury releases the hold. He argues with the ref and the fans for a moment thinking he has the distinct advantage. When he turns around Seraph is on his feet, that strange peaceful look on his face once again. Mercury hits a standing dropkick that backs Seraph into the corner. Mercury follows him in and tries a monkey flip out of the corner, Seraph holds on to the ropes and Mercury dives backwards hitting the mat hard. Seraph waits for Mercury to get to his feet, takes a few steps out of the corner, jumps and connects with a spinning back kick that catches Mercury right on the chin. Mercury bails out of the ring and tries to escape Seraph who is pursuing him like some demented Michael Meyers rip-off. Mercury tries throwing a chair behind him, a lead pipe, a bottle, anything he can get his hands on, but Seraph just calmly dodges the projectiles and keeps after him. Finally Mercury runs around the ring and digs into his tights and pulls out a small bag and begins dumping the contents into his hands. Then he stops for a moment, and seems to ponder the Rick’s words from the previous week. He turns back around, but it is too late, Seraph grabs him by the throat and choke slams him on the floor. Mercury is out; Seraph calmly picks himself up, dusts himself off, and lifts Mercury and rolls him into the ring. Seraph follows him to the inside, allows Mercury to make it to his feet, then bounds off the ropes and connects with a reverse bulldog, quickly spins around and locks Mercury into a sharpshooter right in the middle of the ring. During this whole time the peaceful/eerie look on Seraph’s face has not changed at all. Mercury tries to fight to the ropes, but Seraph firmly sits down putting all the pressure on Mercury’s back, finally Mercury is forced to tap.
WINNER in 10:00 Seraph
Ross: I swear Razz, there is something about that cold unfeeling stare of Seraph that just sets you on edge, I don’t like to use the word monster, but what else do you call him?
Razz: I’m not sure Ross, but it isn’t monster, the man may not have much in the way of expression, but there is more to him than just a cold empty shell, this man is on a mission, from what, I have no clue, but there is something that drives him to win, and that is going to make him a VERY tough man to beat.
Ross: He is gifted in that ring no question, he moves like veteran, he can be smooth as silk, but there is just something so unnerving about the way that expression never changes. I get goose bumps just thinking about it.
Razz: Our next match is another one of those rookie versus veteran matchups, Capellan is new around these parts, and already he has made a splash with the boys in the back by challenging UnderDawg! The Big Dawg!
Ross: Well, sometimes to make your mark, you have to be bold. Capellan gets a match with fellow Ministry mate Corax tonight, Razz, Corax is another one of those primarily tag team wrestlers, in fact I think he has only been in a handful of singles matches over his career, how do you think he will fare against Capellan?
Razz: Well, Corax certainly has the experience advantage here, but don’t underestimate Capellan, this guy brings a lot of heart to the ring, unfortunately though, it takes more than just heart to win matches, I am going with Corax on this one.
CAPELLAN vs. CORAX
Corax makes his way to the ring, he receives somewhat of a mixed reaction, more cheers than boos, but still not what he is used to. Capellan comes out next, and the crowd goes nuts. Taxi signs are everywhere. Capellan pauses for a moment at the top of the ramp and basks in the cheers; this seems to annoy Corax quite a bit. Capellan finally makes it to the ring, and the two lock up, Corax grabs an arm wringer, but Capellan quickly reverses it. Corax tries to whip Capellan to the ropes; Capellan reverses it and drops Corax with a shoulder block. Corax is quickly back to his feet, they stare for a second, then both hit the ropes, cris-cross, after a few seconds, both men stop and throw dropkicks, neither connects, and both kip up at the same time (only Capellan did his without using his hands) Capellan claps and the crowd goes nuts, Capellan extends his hand, but Corax slaps it away. Another lockup, this time Corax grabs a side headlock, Capellan quickly reverses out of it and grabs a side head lock of his own. Corax lifts Capellan for a belly to back suplex, but Capellan shifts his weight and takes Corax over with a side headlock. Corax rolls Capellan to a pinning position, Capellan kicks out at two and maintains the side headlock. Corax works around and grabs Capellan in a leg scissor, freeing himself from the side head lock, Capellan works free of the head scissors by doing a headstand and grabs another side head lock on Corax, frustrated Corax scoots to the ropes to break the hold. Corax slips out of the ring and slams his hands on the apron in frustration. Corax is getting frustrated with Capellan, no matter what he tries Capellan either reverses it or kicks out. As Corax gets more and more frustrated, he tactics are getting more and more brutal, and he is being warned by the referee. Corax catches Capellan coming off the ropes, elevates him in the air, then slams Capellan down across his knee. Corax holds on, goes behind Corax and hits a German suplex with a bridge, but only for two. Corax snaps and gets in the ref’s face and argues with him, then turns and blatantly chokes Capellan in front of the ref, only breaking at four when the ref threatens immediate disqualification. Corax whips Capellan into the corner, Capleean walks the turnbuckles and flips off in a moonsault, Corax takes a step forward to avoid him, Capellan lands on his feet, grabs Corax in a full nelson and dragon suplexes him over his shoulders for a two count. Corax springs to his feet and charges; Capellan sweeps his legs, takes him down and before Corax can move Capellan has him trapped in the rings of Saturn. Corax inches his way to the ropes and finally forces the break. Both men spring to their feet, Corax charges again, Capellan takes him over in a fireman’s carry, hooks the arm and locks on a Japanese arm bar. Corax reverses it into a pinning position, Capellan rolls his shoulders out of it, turns and gets to his feet and turns it into a Mahistrol cradle for another two count. Corax slides under the bottom rope and yells in frustration, the fans are riding him pretty good because he is losing his cool. As he jaws with a fan, Capellan baseball slides under the bottom rope and slams into Corax sending him sprawling across the floor. Capellan goes back into the ring and waits, Corax is waiting by the apron, as he starts to get up, Capellan walks over to bring Corax back into the ring, Corax slams him across the head and face with a chair. Capellan falls back into the ring and the ref calls for an immediate disqualification.
WINNER by DQ in 8: 49 Capellan
After the match Corax slides into the ring with the chair and stares at Capellan for a moment, then raises the chair and slams it down across Capellan’s back several times. Finally Hellion hits the ring and gets Corax to stop. Corax stares at Hellion for a moment then leaves the ring to a chorus of boos.
Ross: What the hell was that all about? What has gotten into Corax? I thought that guy had more class than that! He was being out wrestled by Capellan, so he resorts to using a chair to save his hide, that is not like the Corax I know!
Razz: I am just as surprised as you are Ross, I thought Corax was a stand up kinda guy, but if you think about it, ever since Donnie and UnderDawg split, Corax has been acting a little strange, we should keep our eye on this guy over the next few weeks.
Ross: So now Capellan gets Seraph, so his task gets no easier
Razz: it is never easy here in the OOWF! Corax partner Hellion is in action next against the dangerous LD Williams, Ross, you think he will fare any better?
Ross: Actually yes I do Razz, I just don’t think LD Williams really has his heart set on winning the Onslaught title, I think he has something a little bigger in mind, and I think Hellion will take advantage of that and get the win.
Razz: Wow, Ross, you care to elaborate on that? You know something you are not sharing with the rest of us?
Ross: Nope, are you kidding me? Do you really think LD Williams would go out of his way to tell me anything? It is just a gut feeling.
Razz: and that is a pretty big gut ya got there Ross, so, folks, you heard it here first!
HELLION vs. LD WILLIAMS
Hellion remains in the ring and awaits his opponent LD Williams. Williams come out, alone, and heads to the ring. Hellion offers his hand, Williams looks at him puzzled, then slaps him across the face. Hellion gets a strange look on his face and explodes; backing LDW into the corner with chops kicks and punches. Hellion stomps LDW until he is down on the mat in the corner. LDW slips out of the ring to catch his breath, Hellion leaps to the top rope, then dives off and takes LDW down outside the ring. Hellion gets up and slides back into the ring before LDW even realizes what hit him. LDW also charges back into the ring, Hellion catches Williams with a deep arm drag, Williams sprawls across the mat. Hellion pops back to his feet and waits for LDW to get to his feet. As he does, Hellion leaps, catches LDW with a head scissors and takes him over the top rope. Somehow Hellion holds on to the top rope and skins the cat back to the inside. LDW is on the floor outside, and is getting frustrated. He slides back into the ring, Hellion motions to lock up, LDW begs off and backs into a corner. LDW wants to slow the pace of the match down a bit. Williams goes to take a step out of the corner, as he does, he grabs his calf and ankle and screams out in pain. LDW tries another step, same thing. LDW falls back into the corner with a look of agony etched on his face. The ref comes in to check LDW’s ankle, Hellion comes closer and watches the ref. Bad move. LDW explodes out of the corner and levels Hellion with a clothesline. LDW takes over now, and dominates for several minutes. Hellion is down, still feeling the effects of a LD Williams pile driver. Williams is also on one knee, still trying to shake the cobwebs free from the top rope shining wizard he took earlier in the match. Williams is to his feet first, and grabs Hellion and pulls him to his feet, then DESTROYS him with a standing clothesline. Hellion gets to his feet and throws a few desperation punches that LDW easily avoids. LDW ducks a punch, goes behind Hellion, scoops him for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but then just drops straight down with a side slam driving all the air out of Hellion’s lungs. Williams arrogantly pulls Hellion to his feet, Hellion can’t even defend himself and goes for the DDT. Before he can hit the move, Attitude Adjuster saunters out to the ramp and starts arguing with Williams. Williams drops Hellion and moves to the ropes and argues back. AA comes closer to the ring and it looks like LDW is going to leave to fight, he gets halfway out of the ring when Hellion grabs his arm, spins him around and super kicks him in the mouth. LDW staggers and falls, tangled in the ropes, Hellion takes advantage of this and bounds off the far ropes and hits a shining wizard. With LDW dazed, Hellion pulls him to his feet and hits the Gates of Hell (double chicken wing suplex/bridge) and gets a three count.
WINNER in 15:51 Hellion
Ross: wow, even though I predicted the win, Hellion impressed me in this one.
Razz: Williams wasn’t so bad either Ross!
Ross: No, No, I didn’t mean to imply that, I was honestly surprised that Williams could thrive in this type of match, his strong suit is his ability to brawl with the best of them, under these constraints I thought that would hinder him, but he proved that underneath that willingness to take two punches to get one in, he is also an accomplished wrestler. Now if he would only wise up and get away from Johnny Adrenaline, I think we could see Williams shine.
Razz: Well said Ross, I think the same thing for Hellion, in a way; I think this style of wrestling suits him perfectly. When they were a team, Corax was always the one to take more of the risks, while Hellion wanted to grind it out in the ring; I think this title suits Hellion perfectly. I predict he will go far in this one.
Ross: I am a little surprised by both of our next competitors. I am surprised Endo would go after such a straightforward title when his style seems to be more of the reckless brawling style. And Beast, well I am just surprised that he is wrestling at all, Razz, the word from the back is that Beast’s arm is hurt pretty badly.
Razz: Well then YOU tell him he can’t compete tonight.
Ross: No thank you Razz, I will leave that up to the GM. Quite honestly, even with a bad arm, I have a hard time seeing Endo winning this one.
Razz: well I have to disagree with you there Ross, Beast relies on his power moves to win matches, and most of his power comes from his upper body and arms, you take one of those beefy arms away, and you really mess with his game plan. I think Endo steals a win here tonight!
ENDO vs. BEAST
Beast comes to the ring with his arm heavily wrapped. Of course Endo immediately targets his arm and wails away on it. Beast gets backed into a corner and Endo is relentless, Beast frees himself by throwing some elbows that catch Endo on the chin, Endo staggers backward a few steps, Beast explodes out of the corner and levels Endo with a boot to the face. Endo falls to the mat, dazed, Beast follows that up with a big knee drop out of the corner, cover gets a two count. Beast uses his good arm to pull Endo to his feet, then he backs Endo into the corner with punches and kicks. Beast whips Endo across the ring and follows him into the opposite corner with a clothesline. Endo staggers a few steps out of the corner and Beast grabs him for a choke slam, but Endo fights out of it with elbows to Beast’s head. Endo bounds off the ropes and takes Beast down with a big clothesline. Endo drops an elbow and covers but only gets a two count. Endo goes to work on Beast’s arm, stomping away at the heavily wrapped arm. Endo pulls Beast to his feet and throws him over the top rope. Endo follows him to the outside, but before he can do anything Beast grabs him and slams him face first into the apron. Beast scoops Endo up and throws him over his shoulder and moves toward the ring post, Endo worms his way free and comes down behind Beast and shoves him toward the ring post, Beast hits the post with his bandaged shoulder. Beast falls to the floor in pain. Endo grabs Beasts arm and wraps it around the ring post and repeatedly slams it into the ring post. Endo pulls the bandage off of Beast’s arm, taking away what little protection Beast had. Endo rolls back into the ring to break the ref’s ten count and to get the warning from the ref. Quickly back to the outside, Endo hammerlocks Beast’s injured arm around the ring post and applies the pressure, Beast bellows in pain. After several seconds and the threat of disqualification, Endo releases the hold and rolls Beast back into the ring. Endo comes into the ring and drops a knee across Beast’s arm, then applies a hammerlock; Beast is screaming in pain but will not submit. Beast works his way to the ropes and finally forces a break. Endo smells the blood in the water and is relentless. Beast slowly gets to his feet and Endo grabs his arm, chicken wings it and scoops Beast up and slams him to the mat (!). Beast howls in pain, the ref checks on Beast to make sure he can continue. Beast refuses to give up, and begins a comeback, elbowing Endo in the midsection. Beast gets to his feet and destroys Endo with a clothesline, but he falls back to one knee holding his arm in pain. Beast gets back up, as does Endo, Beast tries another clothesline, Endo ducks it and locks on a standing cross face chicken wing. Beast is fighting to stay on his feet, but can’t make it to the ropes. After several seconds, Endo finally pulls Beast to the mat where he locks the move on. Despite his massive strength, Beast cannot fight his way out of it, and after several minutes of agony, is forced to submit.
WINNER in 9:59 Endo
Razz: Wow, I called it Ross! A submission win for Endo!
Ross: Well you did not call the submission win, but I am shocked, SHOCKED! I never thought I would see Beast forced to submit, once again I come away vastly impressed with one of our OOWF talents, Razz, I didn’t know Endo knew any wrestling moves, let alone submission style moves! Endo versus hellion could end up being a classic! Whoda thunk it?
Razz: Probably no one, but that will be a great one no question about it. Up next, my favorite and yours, Johnny Adrenaline! He faces Canadian Dragon in the first round, Ross whaddya think?
Ross: I simply cannot fathom why Adrenaline would be in this tournament. The man is a coward when it comes to defending his Intercontinental title, and with that he can hide behind disqualifications to keep his title, what on earth would he do with this title? He wouldn’t hold it a week!
Razz: A little harsh there Ross, I am not sure what Johnny is thinking, but whatever is on his mind, he better set it aside and focus 100% on Canadian Dragon, we have a big summer tour of the Great White North coming up soon, and I am sure he would love to take that Onslaught Title all through Canada!
Ross: I have no doubt about that, but Dragon better also be focused on the match, it seems like he has an issue with Hardbody Harris as of late, I am not sure what he is thinking there, but sometimes it is best to leave sleeping dogs lie, if you know what I mean.
Razz: Not really.
CANADIAN DRAGON vs. JOHNNY ADRENALINE
Dragon comes to the ring first and waits for the Intercontinental champion Johnny Adrenaline to make his appearance. Johnny comes to the ring, hands the ref the Intercontinental title, then lies down on the mat and yells for CD to cover him. Dragon is reluctant, and looks at the ref, clueless. Finally Johnny has had enough, he grabs Dragon’s leg and puts his boot squarely on his chest, and screams at the ref to make the count. Three seconds later, its over.
WINNER in :10 Canadian Dragon
After the bell rings, Johnny storms over to the timekeeper and snatches his Intercontinental Title. Johnny grabs the microphone from the ring announcer and begins talking as he leaves up the ramp.
JA: Great victory, Mr. Canada! Impressive. I mean, if my IC title here had been on the line, you would've actually won a title legitimately! While you dilly-dally with The Rick's little Onslaught Title, let me get down to business. As far as this Intercontinental Title goes, it ain't comin' off this shoulder. Concrete couldn't do it. Beast couldn't do it. Mark Vander couldn't do it. Attitude Adjuster sure as hell couldn't do it. Oh, and what's that other guy's name? Been runnin' his mouth lately about how HE'S gonna take this title. It don't really matter. I'll beat him, too. Believe me, tonight's the ONLY time that a Dragon will be pinning me any time soon.
<Johnny gets to the top of the ramp and Blackdragon comes out and levels him with a super kick. They brawl around the top of the stage for a minute, then Mark Vander comes out and helps BD put a beating on Johnny. Attitude comes out and sort of takes on all three, before LD Williams finally comes out and tries to help Johnny. The melee continues for a few minutes, security and backstage officials flood the ramp and finally GM the Rick makes an appearance.>
GMtR ok Adrenaline, I have had just about enough of your douchebaggery. You want to mock me and lay down in the tournament? Fine, it will cost you.
<Johnny somehow gets a hold of a mic>
JA Please, money is not an issue, what is it gonna be? $1000? $1500? Let me grab my wallet…
GMtR Nope smartass, you are hereby fined $50,000. Wanna make it more?
<Johnny’s tune changes real quick>
JA Hey, hey, the Rick, man I was only playin, Fifty Grand? Ok, ok, you made your point, I’ll go back and wrestle Canadian Dragon, just make sure the rest of these chumpstains head to the back <Johnny starts to head to the ring>
GMtR Oh no,no,no Johnny, you made your bed; you are out of the tournament. And as far as these “chumpstains” go, at Blood, Sweat and Fear we are going to have a little #1 contenders match, Blackdragon vs. Attitude Adjuster vs. Mark Vander vs. LD Williams. The winner gets a shot at the title THAT night.
<Johnny looks pissed for a moment, then a smile breaks across his face>
JA: So you are saying that those four have to kill each other that night, just to get a shot at me. They have to wrestle two matches? See, boss, that’s why YOU are the man in charge here, brilliant idea, couldn’t have done….
GMtR Shut up Adrenaline, you don’t think I am that stupid do you? Since these guys have to wrestle twice that night, so do you, against an opponent of my choosing, which you will find out about, about five minutes before the match. And don’t worry; it will be a non-title match. Have fun kids.
<GM the Rick leaves, Johnny is furious, LDW tries to calm him down, Dragon and Vander look pleased> [/i]
Ross: Have I mentioned what a spineless coward I think Johnny Adrenaline is? He just lies down and lets Dragon pin him, then expects to just walk out of it unscathed. I am glad GM the Rick came down on him, I’ll bet Johnny will think twice now that his bank account is fifty grand lighter!
Razz: and how bout the match announced for Blood, Sweat and Fear, Blackdragon vs. LD Williams vs. Mark Vander vs. Attitude Adjuster, and the winner gets a shot at Johnny THAT NIGHT!
Ross: Not only that, Razz, but Johnny has to face someone of GM the Rick’s choosing at the PPV as well! I know I am supposed to be impartial, but I hope Johnny gets his ass handed to him in eighteen days! I hope we can finally get an Intercontinental Champion who will defend the title with a little pride.
Razz: Time will tell Ross, time will tell. Our last first round match is up next; Thim Reynolds takes on Attitude Adjuster. This one should be really interesting Ross, Thim is not really a member of the AYUFF, but has ties to it through Semaj B, and AA is a member, but it seems like no one except Concrete really wants much to do with him. I think this style of wrestling favors Thim more, but AA is well schooled at mat wrestling, and remember, when he first came to the OOWF, he was very outspoken about all the violence, now is his chance to back up his complaints!
Ross: I remember that Razz, if I’m not mistaken, he had LD Williams arrested for punching him or some such nonsense. Attitude Adjuster is not used to wrestling clean, so I give the nod to Thim in this one
THIM REYNOLDS vs. ATTITUDE ADJUSTER
Back and forth action for the first ten minutes of this match, neither man can gain any clear-cut advantage. Thim keeps AA off balance with a lot of submission type wrestling, AA usually escapes by turning to cheating and bending the rules. AA straddles the line between upholding the Onslaught title rules and risking getting disqualified. The match turns when AA avoids a Thim clothesline, rakes the eyes and hits Thim with a hotshot across the steel guardrail outside the ring. AA rolls Thim back into the ring and slumps in the corner to recover. Attitude has Thim down after a devastating hot shot, Thim was able to kick out at two. AA gets to his feet and calls for the claw! LD Williams slowly makes his way down to ringside. Attitude immediately spots him and the two begin to argue. Thim slowly recovers and gets to his feet, he grabs AA and spins him around, but before he can do anything AA pokes him in the eyes and drops him with a stunner. Instead of going for the pin, AA turns back to LDW and argues with him. Once again Thim is able to work his way back to his feet, and once again he pulls AA around to face him, but before AA can do anything, Thim slams AA to the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex. AA gets to his feet, Thim whips him to the ropes, but AA reverses it, Thim bounds off the ropes and AA puts his head down a moment too soon. Thim grabs AA and hits a perfect plex with bridge for a two count. AA springs to his feet and charges at Thim, Thim sidesteps and shoves AA to the ropes and rolls him up from behind, AA kicks out, Thim pulls him to his feet and sends AA to the ropes and catches him on the rebound with the neck cracker. Another cover gets another two count. Thim pulls AA up to a sitting position and applies the Sweet Dreams (neck muscle massage hold o’doom) Thim fights it for a moment, then begins to nod, his head drooping until his chin is resting on his chest. Thim releases the hold, bounds off the far ropes and DESTROYS AA with a clothesline to the back on the head that folds AA in half and bounces his face off of the mat. AA is down face first on the mat, Thim quickly applies the reflex-o-lock, putting additional pressure on AA’s lower back. AA madly scrambles to the ropes, trying with everything he has to reach the bottom rope. LDW moves to ringside and taunts AA who is only inches away from the ropes, the ref turns to look at Thim, and AA actually grabs the ropes, but LDW slaps him across the face, AA is so shocked that he lets go of the ropes and Thim is able to pull him a few feet away from the ropes. AA fights to the ropes once again, Thim torques AA’s leg more and applies more pressure to his lower back. AA is about to reach the ropes once again, the ref turns to look at Niles Anderson who has suddenly made his way to ringside, AA almost has the ropes, LDW reaches in and pulls the ropes away from AA (thanks to HHH & Dave for inspiration) Thim once again pulls AA back away from the ropes, finally AA can take no more and taps.
WINNER in 19:44 Thim Reynolds
Immediately after the match Niles and LD Williams jump into the ring, Niles is arguing with the ref, LDW is taunting AA who is still on the mat in agony. Thim eyes the odds and beats a hasty retreat out of the ring. Niles grabs LDW by the arm and the two go face to face and argue. It looks like they are about to come to blows when officials hit the ring and separate the two. Niles helps AA to his feet and they leave the ring together, after a few seconds LDW follows.
Ross: You know Razz it is getting to the point where you need a scorecard to keep track of who is aligned with who at this point. I mean Niles Anderson comes down to help Attitude Adjuster against Thim and LD Williams. Niles is Establishment, LD Williams is associated with the Establishment, Attitude Adjuster is AYUFF, and Thim is associated with the AYUFF. There is something not quite right about all of this, there are too many lines being blurred, Razz what do you make of it all?
Razz: Hell if I know. I know Niles and AA are in cahoots ever since Jack and Concrete started teaming. Thim doesn’t trust AA, and Williams wants to kill AA. I would assume LD Williams and Niles have nothing against each other, although both of them are sometimes seen as playing second fiddle to Johnny and Concrete respectively, I would also assume that Thim and LD Williams are not aligned in any way considering Moosehead Jack asked LD Williams to take out Semaj B, who is partners with Thim. See its all pretty clear.
Ross: If you say so Razz, so our final second round match is set, Canadian Dragon versus Thim Reynolds, that should be a classic right there.
Razz: That will be a fantastic match; I can’t wait for that one. I can’t wait for our next match either, and since it is next, I don’t have to!
Ross: Revolution XX and The Devil’s Brigade, you would think these two teams have an awful lot in common, but the fact is, from what I have heard through the grapevine is that they can not stand to be in the same building together.
Razz: This one’ll be a hot one!
NON-TOURNAMENT MATCHES
REVOLUTION XX vs. THE DEVIL’S BRIGADE
EOM and TO start off surprising with some high octane technical cruiserweight like offense that sees at least a half dozen near falls in less than two minutes. EOM offers his hand and TO slaps it away. EOM slaps him and TO drops him with the left. Cover gets two as CC drops a sledgehammer blow to the back of TO’s head. CC tagged in and works TO over with some head related offense, culminating in a wicked spinning neck breaker that gets two. EOM back in and drops TO with a jumping leg lariat after a series of quick kicks to the midsection. Spinning leg drop gets another two and CC tagged in only to get small packaged for two. TO staggers CC with a right hook this time and tags in HC who gives CC all the big man offense he can handle. CC fights free, but runs into a Baldo Bomb that gets broken up when EOM kicks HC in the face. Ref escorts EOM out, giving TO time to nearly break CC’s jaw with the left. HC dusts of his hands and goes to set up the DOMINATOR~!!! But CC wiggles free, rebounds off the ropes and gets stopped dead in his tracks by a big boot. This time the DOMINATOR~!!! is unimpeded, and EOM makes the save. This brings in TO and they tackle one another out of the ring. CC roles out of the ring and fishes under the ring for something. HC meets him with a knee to the side to the temple and a clubbing blow to the back of the neck. CC retaliates with a pogo-stick assisted low blow and bends the device over HC’s back. That’s definitely got to be a first here in the OOWF. Back in the ring and the ref finally tears himself away long enough to make a long two count. This brings Viper out, who cheers on his boys as HC staves off Rex XX’s double team and makes the lunging tag to TO. TO dominates for a nice stretch even hitting a personal fave, the DDT and Reverse DDT on his partner at the same time spot. Cover on EOM gets two as CC rolls TO off of him. Double team flap jack puts TO down and CC leaves before the ref can get on his case. CC drops TO with some quick arm drags and a headlock take down. DV hands his belt to HC as TO fires up. CC takes him back down with a sleeper takedown however and runs the ropes. DV trips him up and when the ref asks what happens, DV plays it cool, allowing HC to drill CC in the back of the skull with the title belt. TO makes the cover, but EOM hits the spring board leg drop to the back of the head and once again all four men are in the ring. REF BUMP~!!! leads to CC on the wrong end of a World Championship Belt DEATH ELBOW~!!! Ref awakened, but has his three count stopped when LD Williams appears on the scene and pulls him out. EOM fumbles around on the outside as the ref tries to determine whether it was LD or DV who pulled him out. As the ref decides to eject both, LD whips DV around, kicks him in the gut and commits a felonious assault by driving DV head first into the concrete with a DDT. Meanwhile TO is smacked over the head with a skate board (!!!) then EOM rolls in, and low blows HC with the skate board, places it on his face and hits a spinning leg drop. That, my friends, is how you get busted open OOWF style. CC recovers as HC pulls a wobbly HC to his feet. TOTAL ELIMINATION~!!! ends the contest as LD Williams makes his way back out and celebrates with his boys.
WINNERS in 25:15 Revolution XX
Ross: That was chaos! Why on earth would Viper and Williams both show up when the four men scheduled for the match are perfectly capable of bringing the insanity every week? I yearn for the good old days when you needed a manager’s license to be at ringside.
Razz: Wells Ross, this is 2005, not 1975, kayfabe is dead and it appears that anyone can come to ringside whenever they please
Ross: ixnay on the ayfaykabe!
Razz: They already know Ross; I think your hat might be one size too tight
Ross: that may be the case, Razz what do you think of our next match up, Niles and Gimmick present conflicting styles, Gimmick is more mat wrestling, while Niles, well Niles is kind of all over the place.
Razz: Niles can adapt to pretty much any style, that’s why he has seen so much success here in the OOWF, Gimmick prefers to grind it out on the mat more, he knows more ways to hurt you than anyone I know, but first he has to catch you and keep you grounded. I think Niles is too crafty for that, I think Niles gets the win here and heads into his shot at Viper in two weeks with some momentum
GIMMICKMAN vs. NILES ANDERSON
GimmickMan and Niles both make their way to the ring. Gimmick is over huge, but there are a few sparse cheers mixed in for Niles. Quick lock up to start, and GM work Niles into a full nelson. Niles elbows his way out and the two men lock up again, and Niles gets the better of GM and whips him off the ropes. GM ducks a clothesline attempt, bounds off the ropes and hits a huge HHH high knee. Niles is down and GM goes for a Sharpshooter, but can’t lock it on. As Niles attempts to get to his feet he pokes GM in the eye and gains the advantage. Niles with an arm wringer and begins to rain stiff shots to GM’s neck and back of his head. GM tries to fight back but ends up in a sleeper hold. GM looks like he’s fading fast and somehow connects with a modified jawbreaker that breaks the hold. GM is now back on the offensive with a lot Punchy- Choppy stuff. Niles ends up in the corner and GM is stomping the proverbial mud hole in him until the ref breaks it up. GM pulls Niles to his feet and after a kick to the gut hits hit with a sit-out power bomb. GM with a cover, but Niles kicks out. GM picks him up over his shoulders and hits a Spartan PLUNGE!!!!!!. GM covers but they are too close to the ropes and Niles barely gets a foot on the bottom rope. GM is up quick and begins to jaw with the ref. This allows Niles to slide out of the ring and recover. As GM tries to pull Niles back in over the top rope Niles grabs a chair and hits GM in the throat with it. The ref Doesn’t see this and Niles makes his way back into the ring with the chair, but the ref sees the object and pulls it away from Niles as he’s about to blast GM In the face. As the ref is disposing of the chair Niles pulls a pair of Brass Knucks out of his tights and plants a right fist on GM jaw and he staggers into the ropes. Niles stuffs the knucks back into his tights and Hits a Steed-D-T on GM as he tries to gain his bearings. And with a handful of tights Niles makes the cover its 1,2,3. WINNER in 10:47 Niles Anderson
Ross: You know, Niles is another one of those guys, he has all the talent in the world, but he prefers to rely on brass knuckles, a handful of tights, and anything else he can get his hands on to win a match. Whatever happened to just using your talent to win a match?
Razz: Went out with manager’s licenses in 1977. Seriously, you gotta understand how these guys’ minds work Ross, it’s not cheating because they can’t win clean, it’s cheating for the joy of not getting caught. Like you said, Niles, Williams, Attitude, all these guys have the physical skills to go out and put on a clinic each and every week, but that would be boring, they like to push the issue and see what they can get away with. Its like stealing baseball cards from a gas station, you don’t HAVE to do it, but you do it to see if you can get away with it.
Ross: What on earth are you talking about? Wait, I don’t want to know. Let’s just move to our next match, I don’t think you will see a whole lot of cheating in this one, both of these guys are honorable competitors, and serious threats to Johnny Adrenaline’s Intercontinental title.
Razz: For sure they are! They are in a sort of race with each other to see who can get the title shot first, when you are chasing a man, you can tell when he is getting weak, I thin both of these men sense that Johnny isn’t holding on by much, they both want to be the man to topple him.
Ross: Well I will be cheering for whichever man can finally knock that arrogant smug Johnny Adrenaline from his pedestal.
BLACKDRAGON vs. MARK VANDER
Dragon and Vander shake hands before the bell rings. They circle each other warily, Vander uses his power to back Dragon into the corner, clean break and both men move back to the middle of the ring. Another lock up, Dragon grabs a side headlock. Vander shoots Dragon to the ropes, then drops down, Vander steps over and hits the opposite ropes, Dragon springs back to his feet and tries a hip toss on Vander, Vander flips over, lands on his feet and turns and clotheslines Blackdragon, nearly breaking his neck in the process. Vander goes for a quick cover, but Dragon is able to kick out at two. Vander pulls BD to his feet and whips him to the corner, Dragon climbs the ropes, turns and flies off with a high cross body block. Cover gets two, but Vander is able to get the shoulder up. Both men get to their feet and Dragon charges; Vander sidesteps BD and tosses him over the top rope. Vander starts to follow Dragon to the outside, but then regains his composure and moves back to the center of the ring and allows Blackdragon to get back into the ring. The two meet face to face again, Dragon goes behind Vander and grabs him in a waist lock, Vander throws a couple of elbows to fight out of it. Dragon staggers backward, Vander hits the ropes and tries a clothesline, Dragon ducks, goes behind and hits Vander with a trifecta of German suplexes. BD covers and hooks the leg, but Vander is just able to roll the shoulder at two. Dragon is on his feet; he waits for Vander to get to his feet then springs up on the top rope. Before he can do anything, Vander dives and shakes the ropes, knocking BD off the top and crotching him on the top turnbuckle. Vander climbs the corner behind Dragon, hooks him in a full nelson and snaps him off the top rope in a top rope dragon suplex! (HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT!) The impact keeps Vander from making the cover, but BD’s neck just might be broken. The action continues back and forth for several minutes, Vander maintains the upper hand for a few minutes keeping BD grounded with power moves. Vander catches Dragon with a black hole slam that gets him a two count. Vander pulls Dragon to his feet and DESTROYS him with a standing clothesline from hell. Vander covers, but Dragon is able to get his foot on the ropes at two. Vander gets a little frustrated and mounts Dragon and pummels him with closed fist punches. Dragon reverses it and pummels Vander with closed fist punches. The match quickly disintegrates from there and turns into a brawl between two men who can sure as hell fight. Dragon grabs Vander and sends him to the ropes as Vander comes off the ropes, BD ducks and Vander tries a leapfrog, but somehow he doesn’t quite jump high enough and Blackdragon’s head slams right into Vander’s groin. Vander is down writhing in agony on the mat. Blackdragon stands over Vander and looks confused, trying to offer Vander some help. The ref finally pushes Blackdragon back into the opposite corner and goes back to confer with Vander, after a few seconds the ref waves his arms, he is calling the match! Blackdragon looks confused, the fans are confused. The ref grabs the mic”
“Due to a low blow, Mark Vander is unable to continue, and therefore I am ruling this match a No Contest.”
WINNERS – No Contest in 27:28
The fans are certainly not happy about this. Vander finally gets to his feet and Blackdragon tries to explain what happened. Vander doesn’t seem too interested in listening. Dragon offers his hand; Vander slaps it away and leaves the ring.
Razz: Wow! I haven’t seen a finish like that since Barry Windham defeated Steve Williams back in 1988 in a Western States Heritage Title Match!
Ross: What? I mean, yes, yes, I remember that well, that Steve Williams was a HOSS! But seriously Razz, you don’t think for a second that Dragon intentionally hit Vander with the low blow do you?
Razz: No, I don’t, but the important thing is that Vander thinks it was intentional. Right now he is not a happy camper, and I am sure he is going to be out for some payback. This little friendly rivalry of theirs just got turned up a few notches on the ‘ol intensity meter.
Ross: and that is hard to believe, these two being any more intense. Well Razz, we are now a few weeks into the Concrete – Moosehead Experience, how do you think this is going to work?
Razz: Honestly? I think it will work, it takes time to mesh your style with your partner, and since these two have such wildly conflicting styles, it is going to take a little longer than most. But, let me tell you this, if they do get to the point where they can work together, watch out, they can be a dangerous team.
Ross: I think it is fair to say that Outback Jack and GatorBait are already one of the more dangerous teams in the OOWF. They seem to have issues with Capslock and Stank, but once they get past them, I think they will be the ones to unseat 3Piece Set for the tag titles
Razz: well, not so fast Ross, Capslock and Stank are no pushovers, and they have a title match tonight, Jack and Gator have to be pulling for their enemies a little tonight. What better way to get revenge on your enemy than to take the titles they worked so hard to get!
Ross: Good point Razz; let’s see what happens!
CONCRETE TG & MOOSEHEAD JACK vs. OUTBACK JACK & GATORBAIT
At MHJ’s insistence, CTG and he bring the attack to OBJ and GB as soon as the bell rings. MHJ and OBJ spill to the outside as CTG and GB take it to the mat for a little UFC style grapple/punch session. MHJ eats ring post after OBJ whips him into his. CTG ducks a GB clothesline and allows his momentum to carry him into a baseball slide the sends OBJ stumbling into the announce table. MHJ has recovered and slams OBJ’s face into the table twice. GB has meanwhile stopped CTG on the apron and is attempting to sunset bomb him to the floor. CTG manages to hold on long enough for MHJ to kick GB in the gut and hit a DDT on the floor. But OBJ has recovered and knocks him loopy with a BOOMERANG~!!! CTG, still on the apron, hits a second rope twisting cross body that lands him and OBJ on the announce table. CTG punches OBJ a few times and chokes him to keep him on the table. Signals to the crowd that he is going for a rare Asai Moonsault, but is halted when Mercury blind sides the ref and Uncle Entity pulls his legs from under him, causing CTG to smack his jaw against the apron. MHJ meanwhile gets spine busted on the floor by FFC as Stank hoist GB up and power bombs him on top of OBJ and through the table. The ref comes to and sees the carnage as the teams of FFC/Stank and UE/Mercury continue slugging it out with the two competing teams. Between the four competing men, they regain the advantage as the ref throws the match out and all eight men brawl through the crowd, up and on the side of the entrance ramp, until they are eventually separated in the back.
WINNERS – No Contest at 4:44
Ross: That was a train wreck from the very start! Capslock and Stank, and Entity and Mercury just couldn’t stay out of it, and thus was ruined what should have been one hell of a match!
Razz: I was looking forward to this one, it was a rematch from the OOWF Invitational Tag Team Tournament, but it was not meant to be. Capslock and Stank interfering does not surprise me at all, they can hardly be in the same zip code as Jack and Gator without trouble happening. I am a little surprised that Uncle Entity and Mercury decided to get involved, I thought their issue with Jack and Concrete was settled, I guess I was wrong!
Ross: Well, no doubt, Jack and Concrete will be out for blood, Uncle Entity and Mercury are a new team here in the OOWF, and this is how you have to make your mark I suppose. I prefer the way our next competitor has made his mark though, Chris Alt, one of the classiest guys in the OOWF has made his mark by winning, and winning clean. But man oh man does he have a tough one tonight!
Razz: No kidding Ross, you don’t make your name against UnderDawg, and I wouldn’t want anything to do with him when he was in a good mood, and let me tell ya, he hasn’t been in a good mood lately, Alt is in for a fight tonight!
CHRIS ALT vs. UNDERDAWG
Alt comes to the ring first, then waits as UnderDawg’s long spooky entrance unfolds. Alt doesn’t look a bit intimidated. Alt and Dawg meet face-to-face in the middle of the ring; they stare for a moment then knock hands and head to their corners. The ref rings the bell and they meet in the middle of the ring and lock up. Alt gains the early advantage in the mat keeping UD off balance with a lot of high flying. Alt does a fantastic job of sticking and moving, negating Dawg’s power advantage. At one point, UD had the advantage after Alt missed a top rope body press. Dawg tried a last ride power bomb, but you CAN’T POWERBOMB CHRIS ALT!(well unless you are Niles Anderson, and that was only that one time, anyway) Alt slips out of the power bomb, sets, and super kicks UD in the mouth as he turns around. Alt lifts UnderDawg and hits the Styles Clash! Cover 1,2….NO! UD rolls his shoulder. UnderDawg gains the upper hand when he catches Alt coming off the top and turns it into a power slam. Now it is UD’s turn to keep Alt grounded and he works him over with some brutal power moves, but cannot keep him down. The action spills out of the ring, where both men are busted open. Dawg busted Alt open when he reversed a whip and sent Alt into the ring post. Minutes later Dawg joined Alt in his blood loss when Alt drop toe hold (held?) Dawg into the ring steps. The steps caught Dawg just above the eye and opened a nasty gash on his forehead. Both men stagger to their feet, wearing a mask of blood, UnderDawg grabs Alt by the throat and lifts him and crushes him with a choke slam. UD covers, 1, 2….Alt kicks out! Dawg cannot believe it. He pulls Alt to his feet and once again choke slams Alt to the canvas. Blood sprays from Alt’s forehead after the impact. Alt’s eyes roll into the back of his head. Dawg covers 1,2….my god, Alt kicks out once again! Dawg cannot believe it! He backs the referee into the corner and argues with him. As he does, Alt slowly makes his way to his feet. Dawg turns around and Alt charges, Dawg gets a boot up just in time and nearly takes Alt’s head off his shoulders. UD picks up Alt and tosses him over his shoulder for a FirePlug Pile Driver, but takes a moment too long to execute. Alt frees himself and drops behind Dawg and locks on the dragon sleeper. UD fights for a moment then begins to fade, falling to one knee. Alt uses all his strength to keep Dawg down. The ref checks UD’s arm, it drops once, twice, the third time it just barely stays up. Dawg fights back to his feet, Alt hangs on like a bulldog, refusing to let go. Dawg heads toward a corner and falls back into the corner. Just before impact, Alt releases the hold and hops to the second rope. Keeping hold of UD’s head, Alt leaps off the top rope over Dawg’s head and turns it into a top rope stunner. Dawg is down, Alt is down, the referee starts the long ten count. At eight, Alt manages to pull himself to his feet. Dawg gets to one knee; Alt bounds off the ropes and hits UD with an enzuguri. Dawg falls to the mat face first. Alt staggers to the corner, tries to wipe the blood from his eyes and climbs the corner. Alt gets to the top just as UD gets to his feet; Alt leaps in a spectacular moonsault and connects on Dawg, BUT DAWG CATCHES ALT! Dawg catches Alt then drops straight down into a fireplug pile driver. UD covers, hooks the leg, this time Alt cannot kick out and the ref makes the three count.
WINNER in 44:22 UnderDawg
After the match, Dawg stays in the ring and pulls Alt to his feet. The two stand and stare at each other for a moment, then Dawg offers his hand. Alt looks around for a moment, then shakes the DeadDawg’s hand. They raise each other’s hands in victory, the crowd goes batshit. They stay in the ring for a moment, then head to the back.
<Johnny somehow gets a hold of a mic>
JA Please, money is not an issue, what is it gonna be? $1000? $1500? Let me grab my wallet…
GMtR Nope smartass, you are hereby fined $50,000. Wanna make it more?
<Johnny’s tune changes real quick>
